Red Lobster is a great chain but this location gives Red lobster a bad name. The food is greasy and the inside smells like old grease. This place could really use a face lift. The waitresses and waitresses are kind but even so, I am going to a restaurant to eat. Not to make friends.

The snow legs and the crab linguini the best options. Great bartender. The best drink berry sangria.

I loved this Red Lobster!! Clean, we found parking right away and were seated in no time. I especially liked the great customer service, which is lacking in other Red Lobster's I've gone to in South Florida. The food was great, no problems at all. I will definitely be returning to this location for lunch or dinner..

I totally love this red lobster!!! The service is superb. The parking is great. The ambiance is very pleasant. The food always comes out top-notch. Totally recommend this restaurant to anyone that loves seafood and/or knows about how good red lobster restaurants can be!

I've never been to a more disgusting restaurant in my life. The bathrooms are beyond filthy, I can only imagine how the kitchen must look. There was used toilet paper everywhere on the floor, blood and feces all over the walls and toilet and NO TOILET PAPER TO USE! I asked the host for some toilet paper and she went looking for some and after 5 minutes of waiting she finally came back and told me there was none so she had to grab some from the men's bathroom. How disgusting! The waiters are rude and childish. The food portions are a lot smaller here than other Red Lobsters that I have been to. The place smells like mold, renovation is highly needed. I can guarantee you that I'll never come back to that junk.

I always wondered why I stayed away from here, today I was reminded. Besides the musty scent of what I can only describe as "the living quarters of a pirate ship" in the atmosphere, we were greeted by an up beat waitress who will soon be the reason of our dining disaster (as my wife called it). Upon placing our childrens order and appetizers first, we waited.... and WAITED! for our waitress to come back who still has not taken OUR orders yet. We watched as other tables who arrived after us, receiving their appetizers and we still havent seen a glass of water!. When she arrived (empty handed) my wife and I placed the order and specifically requested NO CHEESE!, my wife is allergic to it. Well after about a 30min wait, the kids food arrived along with the appetizers and NO UTENSIL! (No surprise there) after a 10min wait (yes, at this point we were counting) she strolled by another table and we asked for silverware? She gave us a brief apology and disappeared into the kitchen (or car) and we didnt see her again until our food came out (we resulted to stealing silverware from a neighboring table). When our food arrived, we had been staring at our empty plates (kids food and appetizers) for about another 20min. Basic rule of being a waiter, NEVER LEAVE DIRTY PLATES ON A TABLE!. (Its why being present and attentive is adamant when serving people food so you know when they are done). She had no space to put our food down, we had to clear it for her, unreal! When she placed the food down on the table, my wife received a plate of shrimp alfredo smothered in cheese! When we specifically asked for a red sauce and no cheese! (NO SURPRISE!) We requested to speak to a manager and were told, none on duty! I just laughed at this point. She said she would fix it, by now we have her attention and she knows were pissed. 10 min later she returns to tell us that my wifes linguini was ready but the food prep placed parmesean so its an additional 10min wait!. This is now beyond ridiculous, we asked for the food to go. As we waited for the bill she actually had the nerve to as us if everything was ok tonight?!! (Though the food was Ok, just a bit salty). Im amazed to see how serious our waitresses case of amnesia really was.. im pretty sure her kitchen fling will work out better than what she got from us as TIP!. I blame this on poor management and lack of training all together. Its sad to see this chain of restaurant go down this way, plenty of potential but they lack the drive. Nonetheless I will not be returning to this red lobster. So sad...

SERVICE SUCKS. We sat for over 10 minutes without a server approaching us and taking our drink order. The servers are very rude. The restaurant was very SLOW, so there is no excuse for such awful service. I would never come back.

Where do I begin... We arrived starved. The host sat us down right away at a table covered in crumbs from the previous guest. We must have been waiting at our table for over 10 mins before the waitress acknowledged us. We order our drinks and ask for their famous cheese biscuits. 15 mins pass and our biscuits still have not arrived; I ask the waitress about the biscuits and she says they are in the oven; as three waitresses pass by with bread for their tables. The waitress takes our order and brings it out within another 15-20mins; we ask for utensils as we still had none. My boyfriend orders the coconut shrimp and pineapple shrimp (which was delish). His sides were suppose to be broccoli and French fries but the waitress brought him rice pilaf instead. We mentioned it and 10 mins later she brought the correct sides and left the pilaf since the pineapple shrimp were resting on top on a skewer. 3 delicious shrimps in my boyfriend realizes his skewer was resting on a bed of rice pilaf with a dash of hair! We notified the waitress and she took the plate away and asked if we would like a new plate. Eww! No thanks. She tells us she will have the manager come speak to us. We wait for almost 20 mins and finally the manager shows her face. She approached us in a very non chalant manner and asked where the plate of food was, we let her know the waitress took it so we don't have to sit staring at the hair. She looked at us with a face and said OK I will adjust your check and walked away. I guess we couldn't have expected a great waitress when they are being trained and led by a manager such as the one we had the displeasure of meeting tonight.

Really enjoyed the snow crab legs and the coconut shrimp... The drink was nice and strong and the service was decent! I will return and oh the cheddar biscuits fresh even at 10:45 pm !! Nice time

Interesting experience. . . The waiter we had for our table seemed careless or possibly preoccupied by other things. She brought us our appetizer and yet we say there with no silverware or plates for several minutes until she walked by a few times and realized for herself .... We ordered the chili shrimp appetizer which was for both me and my wife the most delicious thing we ate there. Deep fried little shrimp that are covered in some spicy/sweet chili sauce. Nam nam indeed Then we both got two different entrees of the lobsterfest menu - both $30 and have two lobster tails... They came out looking nothing like in the picture but tasted pretty decent actually. By far not the best seafood I've ever had though ... Overall I would give the food about 4 stars. The cheese biscuits, as always, scrumptious. The service on the other hand ... Is not acceptable ... Slow, no attention to detail, and literally both our waitress and the bus boy are walking around doing their job with headphones in their ears. Seriously though. Headphones. With music so loud we can hear it.

I love this restaurant. The seafood is always cooked to perfection, and the service is good. I would recommend the crab and roasted-garlic seafood bake and the garlic cheese bread.

Does not deserve a detailed review, so I'll be brief. Pros: -Cheddar Bay biscuits. Cons: -Very long wait. -Musty smell throughout restaurant. -Waitress was inattentive. -REALLY salty food. Weigh them out.

First let me say that I have loved Red Lobster since I was a child and this particular location does a much better job with the food than the other one that is equidistant from my house, but watch your wallet. My parents sent me a $50 Red Lobster gift card for my birthday and we went here. We had an excellent waiter. He was very attentive and personable, but at the end of the evening he applied less than half the gift card to our check and tried to convince us that this was all that was left on the card. Then he made some lame excuse about mixing our check up with another table's and credited us half the card. We still had to ask to get the card back. I called and reported him to the manager who was unavailable at the time. So, we still had $25 left on the card and went back a couple days ago (many months after the first time). This time the wait was fairly long even though the restaurant was half empty when we were finally shown to our table. Our waitress took 15 minutes to make it to the table the first time and was absent for most of the evening. She brought 5 cheddar biscuits to our table of 4 (including 2 teenagers). Who does that? I also ran out of water half way through my meal with no sign of her. I hate that. Still the shrimp was very good and everyone seemed to enjoy their food (except for the cooked-to-mush brocolli, but that was the first time I'd had that problem at this chain). When the bill finally came, my husband barely glanced at it before handing it back to the waitress with the gift card and his credit card, because he didn't want to have to wait for her again. When she dropped off the receipt for the signature, there was no sign of the itemized food bill and I was surprised by how much the total was. But again, the waitress was missing. We waited for 12 minutes, during which time we tried to calculate how much the bill should be. That's when we realized that we had been overcharged for my son's salmon. My husband remembered that the bill had said his meal was $22. My son remembered $17. My husband was tired of waiting, so he just signed the receipt, but on the way out we asked to see a menu. The meal was listed as $16.99. So we asked to see the manager. "Marlin" came and explained that the waitress had assumed my son wanted the full sized portion and that was the price difference. There were no portion sizes listed on the menu with different prices. He offered to take it off our meal the next time we came in, but didn't give us anything in writing. We won't be back. Also, it turns out the manager is a woman. We never spoke to her, but I did see a woman walking around to the tables talking to people. I assume that was her. She never made it to our table. I'm giving the restaurant 2 stars instead of one because the food really was good, but I don't want to have to be so cautious about the bill and the service was very slow.

Last Saturday a group of went to Red Lobster in Hialeah and I have never seen such lack of customer service. To begin with, they sat us way back in an wobbly table, by wobbly I mean that if you put a glass on one side and cleared the middle it would slide to other side, much like what the Titanic must have been like. So we asked and were seated in a nearby tale that was a bit less wobbly. The waiter came over and took our drink order and approximately half after we kept looking for relief of our parched mouths a waitress was spotted with a tray full of drinks. With a sigh we exclaimed "finally" However this feeling was short lived, as she approached our table, our waiter crossed her path and she spilled all eight drinks on my husband. He was not amused! And luckily for them his cell phone was on his other pocket. So with no more than "I am sorry", she left to get refills, while our waiter cleaned up as much as possible. The manager must have been called because a young guy approximately fifteen with an ear piece also approached us for an apology and to let us know that he would send over a slice of chocolate cake for all eight of us. We placed our order and my daughter ordered the pasta with chicken but the chicken on the side, and the rest of us had the all you can eat shrimp. I thought the shrimp was good, but then I am not a shrimp eater. To sum it all up, the pasta came with the chicken not on the side, the shrimp came by the half dozen at a time (for seven of us), the bread which we asked for never came and the chocolate cake that was a gift was perhaps for an ant. Oh, forgot to mention, the tip is included in the bill... which would explain their complete lack of customer service... and No I will never go there again.

What can you say about Red Lobster, it's your typical chain restaurant and we all come here for the same thing... the cheese biscuits! I've ordered take-out from here on more than one occasion, when I'm hankerin' for seafood during lunchtime. Haven't been disappointed yet. Maybe it's because I only visit during lunch and I get take-out but always top notch experience. Great bartender, nice hostesses.

So this past weekend on Sunday, my mother had the biggest craving for shrimp and for awhile she has been wanting to go to Red Lobster. Since I hadn't figured out what to make for dinner yet, I figured why not. As soon as we get there, we are greeted by the most pleasant hostess. She definitely gets an A+. She had a big smile and was very welcoming. The place was full, but luckily we didn't have to wait. We took a seat and unfortunately we had to move because there was a child sitting at the booth right behind me kicking the seat. They attended us quickly and sat us at a more quiet area. Our server was quick to attend us too which I like. He was friendly and made us laugh, which is always a plus in my book. We ordered our drinks and entrees at the same time since we already had in mind what we wanted. Our drinks took a little longer than I expected to come to the table. The Bahama Mama I ordered tasted great, only problem was that it was slightly watered down and not as slushy as I would of liked. The Cheddar biscuits arrive at the table and my face just glowed. I absolutely love those biscuits and they tasted just as I imagined, nice and fluffy on the inside. As we wait for our entrees, I scan the restaurant. It's gotten a lot busier and louder. I take my napkin and place it on my lap with the feeling that my food will be coming out soon, and take a look at our silverware. I sigh and shake my head because they are dirty. BIG NO NO! They looked like they went through the washing machine, but it was obvious that they weren't inspected before rolled up in the napkin. Our Salads are next to join us and they are good as well. Nothing out of this world, but tasty. Not too long after that, we are finally digging into our entrees. My pasta was cooked perfectly, but the Alfredo sauce was too cheesy. The sauce is what makes the pasta stand out, and it wasn't a winner for me. The Shrimp was borderline over cooked as well. On the other hand, The garlic shrimp on the Shrimp Trio dish has to be the best shrimp I've ever had. It just melts in your mouth and I promise you, there was a party going on with every bite I took. I would go back just to order the garlic shrimp by itself. Overall, I had a great time with my mother. With the food being good and the service being beyond amazing, I would go back, but maybe on a slower night. Until next time, See ya (:

The wood grilled tilapia and shrimp are always pretty good here. This time I had the broiled bay scallops and it did not impress me, it was very greasy and they were super small.

Growing up we went to what seemed to be fancy smancy dinners about twice a month and now that I'm a big kid I'm not so satisfied. Located across the street from the Westland mall is this red lobster location. The wait time isn't what annoys me at first it's the parking lot I know this is Hialeah but come on. Once your inside you see the normal setup, your typical full bar, lobster tank and pictures of shorelines. I ordered the lobster fest as I was über hungry. I also ordered a drink but for some reason it took 15 minutes to get to me. Once the Neal came I saw that the crab Alfredo I ordered was cold I politely told our server who then told me she'd take care of it. 20 minutes and a cold meal later I was able to flag down a manager and explain. He than removed the meal from my check. And told the server he'd speak with her later. After the manager left she then was very rude and snappy with us. What i was able to nibble on from my bf's plate wasn't very tasty either. His rice pilaf had no taste and badly needed salt. We quickly paid the bill and left. I was sad with this experience since I love the food chain.

The shrimp were bland - steer clear of them here. The steak was dry and tough. The lobster was tasty and the best part. The crab legs were good, the crabmeat did not stick to the shell.

My mom and I frequent this Red Lobster regularly, always for lunch on the weekdays. In all my visits to this place I have never left even slightly dissatisfied. I'm usually always wowed by the attentive service and love their tasty food. My two favorite servers are Rose and Jorge, very attentive and super friendly. Their cheddar biscuits are delicious and when made right, melt right in your mouth. All in all, I love the food, the service is great, and the price is fair.

My boyfriend and I usually eat out once a week and this week we decided to go to red lobster. We usually go to the same one every time since it is near to us.however this time it wasn't the same. We arrive there and for once there was no wait. We got to our seats and just sat there for about 10 mins before anyone came over to us ...when someone finally came he said "I'll be with you in a few mins". However when he returned to the table he brought the bread with him.. We ordered everything at once, not knowing when he will return to the table. We add cheese sticks for app which I absolutely love and we both had the bal harbor with the shrimp on the skewer the lobster halves and the sauté shrimp in butter sauce with sides of our choice ..we got our salads which was good as usual along with our drinks when our entrees arrived at the table.. It was crowded with plates and everything else...we never got refills on our drinks because our server was no where to be found however we got out entrees and the shrimps are not cook and neither is the lobster..I send it back and their remarks were "that's how it's suppose to look" however I asked politely if he can place it on the grill ..it returns to the table the same way.. Anyway I just box the food without even trying it the second time and ask for the check...the check comes and its the wrong one..I wait to return it but the server never shows to give it to another server before she checks and changes it she argues with me and questions what I ordered...I was furious ...I left with intentions in not returning to red lobster again and if I do not that one

my last visit to a red lobster in ny was decent, it wasn't bad but not really great or outstanding but today I came for dinner and got the 4-course feast ($16) and it was delicious!! my broccoli was a bit mushy but my dads was good and fresh. I got the Caesar salad, chowder soup, jumbo shrimp in coconut and pineapple, and caramel cheesecake. I didn't love the Caesar salad but my brother who got the garden salad with ranch was really good. the jumbo shrimp was really good!!! love how we get unlimited biscuits (every red lobster in general though)

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The service sucked, but the main reason I am unhappy is that a COCKROACH crawled onto our table halfway during our meal. I honestly was convinced I imagined it until it crawled back on our table to hang out. Our waiter had been missing so we had to tell another waiter. When they went to get their manager, it probably took five minutes so of course the roach left. I took a picture before it could leave. What is even more concerning is that the manager didn't seem to believe us and she did not apologize or anything. She did not even seem surprised. The other workers were apologetic but did not seem surprised. Their behavior made it seem as though they were used to seeing cockroaches in their back room or maybe even in the dining room at this Red Lobster. I am disgusted. The manger ended up reluctantly taking one entree off of the check, which in itself is ridiculous, but it doesn't matter. She seemed like she had no intention in doing anything about the cockroaches. Disgusting.

Today was my first time EVER eating at a Red Lobster. Why? Well, because anyone who knows me knows I'm not a fan of that fresh "dirty woman's you know what" scent that lingers in the air at most seafood restaurants. This includes members of My Own Species and Humans. Also, I was recommended by a doctor a while back to include seafood into my diet. See, because I partied way too much in the 90s, my hands often shake making me look like an Epileptic ODing on Crack. At times more than others. He was correct. Whatever it is that is in them sea roaches helps. But, I digress. Had I listened to everything I have been told about this restaurant, I never would have been brave enough to enter. If you're someone like me, not a fan of a "dirty woman's you know what" scent, this restaurant is for you. Even with the plates placed directly in front of me, I wasn't urged to ask for a gallon of Massengil Spring Fresh Feeling while there. Very nice Red Lobster. Not at all what I was expecting from a large chain of restaurants. Seafood is supposed to have its own scent but, not like "that." In 1997, this restaurant caught fire. It was quickly remodeled making it a nice addition to my neighborhood. I was taken aback when I opened the door. Again, not at all what I was expecting and larger on the inside than it seems from the outside. I couldn't remember the exact years, so I asked, this restaurant was added to My Community in 1979. Your employee at the bar quickly going to find the manager, she coming to me to tell me the story, 10 STARS! Large chain of restaurants or not, VERY NICE and noticed by this here Yelper. I'm not a fan of giving names online but I was here on March 29th around Noon. Everyone working this shift deserves a raise. Because I'm a pig, I had several items off your menu today. I will only list the three that stood-out the most to me: * Spicy Habanero Shrimp Bites - VERY non-seafood lover friendly. You won't even know you're eating dead sea roaches. I'm having this again next time I'm here. * Cole Slaw and Rice Pilaf - Both made to perfection. * Cheese Biscuits - I was already told by many on Facebook about these. Uhm, yeah; FABULOUS! So, long story short, I will be back here soon when my shakes are starting to get out of control again. Local seafood restaurants abound within distance of this Red Lobster. If you're reading this review, learn something from them. You don't even need lots of money to make it happen. Things to note and blah, blah, blahs: * Getting here - GOOD LUCK! This stretch of 49th street is one of the busiest. Be patient when exiting. For those that aren't familiar with Hialeah, you can only enter the restaurant directly if you are travelling east on 49th street. However, using the back roads will get you here quicker. If you're traveling west on 49th street, turn left on west 17th court and go around. It's simple, use your GPS. * Dear Darden Inc. - Ouf of all the chain of restaurants you own, to date, this is the stand-out to me for many reasons. I hope you keep it around. Rumors have been circulating for a while.
