My three amigos scored super cheap tickets at the last minute online for the Dolphins game (you know, the one where they creamed the Titans) and I scored the job of saving the family $25 and driving them the paltry 2 miles to the stadium ("What? You can't walk that?") Well, I've been up since about 8a.m. and I'm pretending to myself that I'm not hungover so I drop the troupe off and head up toward 27th avenue to make a Uey (not to be confused with a Uye...a Uey is when you make a U-Turn) and I see a little further down south on 27 that there are some "shops" and as I am in no more a hurry to go home other than to change out of my jammies I decide to take a drive down and notice that there is a Pollo Tropical right there. About an hour, a shower and a change of clothes later I'm driving back up here with a mind to go to Walmart across the street for some dog food and washing powder and decide I'm really hungry and need to eat, and really in the back of my mind I had intended to stop here all along for some chicken because it's been YEARS since I ate at Pollo Tropical. Wow...women's minds are AWESOME. I somehow equated the absolute necessity of buying dog food and washing powder with my real desire of trying out Pollo Tropical again and made it seem normal to me. Anyways I enjoyed my lunch. A chicken chipolte breast on a bun with salady stuff and curly fries. Win for me was the Garlic Cilantro sauce and the Curry mayo stuff. The staff were awesome and friendly and smiling, the place was busy but clean. If you are at the Dolphin game on a Sunday and ever wondered where your Limo driver is...chances are he is here bullshitting with the parking guys.

Do not waste your time ,after 8:00 pm there is not chicken avaliable. The new Pollo tropical in Hialeah drive has better service.

This place is a lot faster and less packed ever since the one on Hialeah gardens blvd opened up.

I'm a huge fan of Pollo Tropicals affordable and delicious food... But this locations service is sub par not to mention the horrible drive thru location, poor parking selection, and overcrowded dining area. Steer clear of this place during busy dinner hours.

A quick-eats option for me that is actual real food and not that greasy fast food type of restaurant. I can say the things I can expect: I huge line, pretty quick service and a cashier that acts as if additional condiments will be deducted directly from her paycheck! All in all the service itself is not unfriendly, just not a bubbly personality. But don't go in a rush as fast food is not the name of the game!
