*Food is decent, but the seating is horrible.* This is about as good as you can expect Mexican food to be in the Miami area without driving down to Homestead where most of Miami's Mexican population is located. I would rate the food 3 stars since it is somewhat authentic, affordable, and tasty. However, the seating arrangement is extremely cramped. Tall people will have issues with getting comfortable - especially at the two seat tables which have a base that takes up all the foot room. ***With this said - the tortilla soup is awesome.***

I totally forgot about this place until we were stumbling around Doral today. So we dived right into some great food (and perhaps a beer). A great little place - its easy to miss. They have a great selection of menu items from chicken, pork, steak, and fish! Lots of traditional favorites and some of their own creations. Everything looks, smells and, yes, tastes FRESH! This is what you want in a neighborhood dive. The staff are super friendly and helpful (bilingual too) and the prices are very reasonable, with a full lunch under $10! My only gripe is that its small so when its busy it is packed! Guess its time to expand!

This a good, affordable, Mexican place for the Doral work environment. If you want a good Mexican meal, prepare on the spot with fresh ingredients and affordable price, then Fiesta is the place to go. I've had the chicken and veggie quesadillas and they are good and fresh. The fish tacos are really good and healthy. The fish is grilled, they do not add any sauce to it, just some chopped onion and cilantro- they serve it with chips and slices of lime- pretty good. Burritos are good also and even though i have not tried their ceviche, my friend always order it since it's fresh and light. It gets crowded during lunch time, but you can call and order ahead of time. Price is reasonable and service is very friendly.

What???!! I do not understand how this place gets 4 stars! We were weary travelers looking for some authentic Mexican fare and read the reviews and thought it was a no brainer. The fact that the place was empty at 7pm on a Saturday night should have tipped me off, shame on me! We ordered two burritos, tostadas and flautas. Before we even had time to settle at our table, the food was served. Bad sign, I knew at that point we had made a HUGE mistake coming here. The chicken on my tostada was gray in color and tasted strange. My daughter's burrito had a strange, lumpy sauce on top. I didn't eat my meal, had to stop at Wendy's on the way back to hotel. Sorry, but this place has no business serving food.

The best food I have ever stuck in my mouth. I am a professional Chef. I cook and eat amazing food. But by far this the best. they are incredible. The home made chorizo is packed full of flavor. The service always with a smile and always with a great attitude. The owners are very nice and the cook is great. Every time i go I feel I am at a friends House. I have had almost everything there and I will Keep trying more of there kick ass food. I wish I had a bigger stomach :)

Great little Mexican restaurant in Doral. Has been here for years. Staff is super friendly and the food is great and extremely inexpensive!

A few things - The food is fantastic, fresh, and quite reasonable. I'm a huge fan of Mexican food and this place is authentic, especially for Florida! The salsa is amazing, and the staff couldn't be nicer. I was stuck here for work and walked around the strip malls only to find primarily fast food restaurants, which were packed (and we wonder why our country is over weight?). Do yourself a favor, skip the meal deals and french fries and try some of this homemade Mexican food, you will not be disappointed!

I had veggie enchilada - sauteed mushrooms in a rolled tortilla with a spoonful of salsa on top. The enchiladas weren't baked, so the overall taste was a little disappointing. The guac, rice and beans were very good, the self-serve salsa was excellent, and with a beer my total came to less than $10. I would go back and just order something else. Fiesta is a warm, family friendly place and I felt very much at home eating there.

I really don't like Mexican food that much, but this place i can say is the best. I have been here a couple of times. The last time i came i didnt enjoy my food that much because I was sicky and my taste buds were not so good. Prices are great, food is amazingly delicious, fresh, and tasty. They have very good prices and have great mild, medium and hot salsa. The staff is very nice and friendly. My favorite of what I have eaten here are the chicken quesadillas, they are delicious.

We have been following this place since it opened. The food is good and always a good alternative when looking for convenience, price and simple food. The menu is just fine, not too complicated but offers a wide array of choices. There are always new items on the specials so you can always count on a bit of variety, or you can fall back on the permanent menu and be sure to find something for your taste and degree of hunger. Good value, good service, good food. This one is a must !!!

I just moved to the neighborhood and figured I would check out some of the Yelp hot-spots. The reviews for this restaurant were great and it looked affordable so I decided to try it out with a friend of mine. The staff was attentive and eager to take our order. I order a Quesadilla and my friend order a Chimichanga. The food is very well priced and comes in decent sized portions with chips! It was delicious! Though I must say the quesadilla started off tasting like a Taco Bell quesadilla until I got to the part where the re-fried beans were. So much better than Taco Bell food. I'm definitely excited to come back and maybe try the burritos or the fajitas next time. :)

The following things can potentially happen to you if you walk into Fiesta unprepared during the busy lunch rush. 1. You will barely be able to hear when the lady is trying to help you figure out what to eat. 2. You may order entirely too much food and end up looking like you're training for a food competition. 3. You will totally have forgotten what you had and will be forced to read the entire menu again upon returning. Besides that I really enjoyed eating at Fiesta, they have a pretty large menu and the prices are decent. The main thing I liked was that the Tilapia in my fish taco didn't taste like it just came from the freezer section at Publix. Chips - Check Fish Taco - Check Going back to Fiesta - Check

Honestly, how can you go wrong with a delicious order of two steak tacos and amazing homemade chips and salsa for $3! Well, that's what you get here. And it really is scrumptious. Anything you get here is going to be really great (the quesadillas are my favorite -- but don't tell the tacos! it'll hurt their feelings...). And the fiesta salad is perfect for anyone on a diet (sans the sour cream, obviously). I go here all the time and can even invite my friends since it's so cheap! It's hands down the best Mexican in Doral. The service is generally pretty good, although if you don't speak Spanish you may have to repeat your order and check it a few times if you are ordering to go. Lunch time gets so crowded it's ridiculous but literally any other time is comfortable. For the prices, it's really great. And although I wouldn't go so far as to say it's authentic, they don't really claim to be and, well, it's delicious! It is what it is and doesn't try to be anything else... bueno, bonito y barato!

Ok so i have gone to tonz of mexican restaurants, being that my fiance is mexican, but this is really a hidden gem right by my house. Pleasantly surprised the food, service and prices are amazing!!! We tried the chicken quesdaillas, the burrito and another plate and all was phenomenal. I recommend this place.

  • Carlos S.

So I was unsure whether to give this place (my first review) a perfect score because while its a fantastic place, I know its not the best Mexican food I've had. But here is why I did it. Fiesta is EXACTLY what you would expect from a small Mexican place in a strip mall. It does what it sets out to do and it does it well. I cant really say I'm really well versed in the menu, but I'm always satisfied with the food. The price is great, the service is phenomenal and its quick. If you are in the area and want to grab a quick, cheap bite of Mexican, that is exactly what you get. If you are looking for a night out in a fancy place its different, but when I need my fix... its five stars all the way! *Tip: Get the Steak Burrito with any of their sauces, you really cant go wrong with that.

Hm, I had to update my review after not having been to Fiesta for a year and a half I was back in the area last week and was excited to try it again. I'll make this brief. Fish tacos: Kind of yum, but fish was a bit too fishy for me. Chicken tacos: Half of my tacos were filled w some gritty, tough, brown (disappointing) meat mixed in with my chicken that was NOT chicken. It kind of reminded me of liver or something. When i picked out those pieces it was fine, but I was not happy they were there to begin with. UPDATE to my Update: Okay, went back today and I figured out what happened. The cook mixed my chicken taco meat in with some other meat (from reading the menu I'm thinking it was Suadero taco meat). Bad mix. So my taco's today were good, salsa excellent, back to 4 stars. yah!

My friend took me to this place and honestly I thought it was going to be whatever but I have to say that after I had the chicken quesadilla there hasnt been one as good as that one around town ! With chips and salsa ! Good and the price is good ! A lot in the poster menu and is good !

Cheap prices, cheap quality food... The lady was kind, but would prob not return

  • Esther S.

The place is well kept and clean. The food was a little too fast food for me and didn't land so well in my stomach. I had the steak chimichangas and a tortilla soup. The tortilla soup was tasty but way to many vegetables and no tortilla. The chimichangas was bland and mostly re fried beans, cannot be compared to Don Burritos. Overall the prices were very reasonable and the service was good. The place only uses plastic ware and does not have fountain soda for the refill lovers you get bottle soda.

The best lobster bisque that I have ever tasted! and goes along perfect with three "carnitas" taco with cilantro. Just delicious....

  • Danny F.

3.5 Stars Very solid (and genuine) mexican grill. Nothing stands out, but the customer service was good, and the sauces were tasty. Although, their hottest salsa was hardly a tickle. I had the fish tacos, and they weren't the best, but for the price, easily better than taco bell's variants.

  • Stan A.

Ate here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Atkins fajita salad with chicken and the flavors were amazing. The staff was very friendly and wanted to make sure that I was going to like what I ordered since I was going to have basically a salad with grilled chicken and veggies, accompanied by some guacamole and sour cream. Being that I am on a restricted diet this meal was just what the doctor ordered. The portion was generous for the price and I will definitely be back soon.

Do not expect this to be a fancy Mexican restaurant because it is not, but expect everything else. From great service to excellent food , Fiesta Mexican it's the place to go. I have been coming here for 3 yrs and it never let's me down on quality. If you are looking for a fast , cheap and top quality Mexican food in the Doral area look no further and hit this place up. Chimichangas , Tacos suaderos D.F style and Shrimp tacos (just tried them last night) are my favs. here. But feel free to explore their menu my wife does it all the time and she always loves it. *** It is closed on Sundays and it closes @ 10pm the rest of the week so don't expect late night Mexican here. ***

    (5)
  • Ed C.

Good food, fair prices, closed on Sundays, hole in the wall. Been there a couple of times ... Food is consistent and fills my appetite.. Not a taqueria, not a full blown restaurant... Right there in the middle. Do not expect typical Mexican plates...just the basic.

    (3)
  • Summer C.

This place is NOT Mexican food, the owners or cooks are Mexican. I am from Mexico and know what Enchiladas are, well I ordered them and got a corn quesadilla with salsa thrown on top. To me it is just a better version of Taco Bell. If you want Real Mexican try Mi Rinconcito on SW 8th St.

  • Alex D.

Awesome hole in the wall mexican food and service with a smile. I've got nothing but love for these folks. I come here on a weekly basis. The prices are awesome, the servings are awesome, the people that run the place are awesome and as stated before, the food is awesome. I can't get enough of their steak quesadillas and their horchata with cinnamon. And homemade guacamole is amazing. Go there. You will not be disappointed. Happy feasting.

I love this place! I usually eat here two or three times a week for lunch as I work in the area. I call ahead and they know my voice, my name and my order! The food is fresh and tastes great! I, too, love the salsa which is fresh! I wish I could take a jar home with me! My only gripe is that they are not open Sundays and I work nearby and would love if they would be open Sundays! Check 'em out!

Went to lunch with one of my coworkers and we went back to Fiesta Mexicana...we've been craving their refried beans since the last time, which was our first time there. No dissapointment at all...the place is super clean, the decoration is very typical, the music was great and the food and service outstanding. Today I tried the Fiesta burrito and OMG it was sooooooo good. We were stuffed but we saw that they had desserts so we went for it. My friend had the flan, which was amazing, wonderful flavor, excellent consistency and I had the rice pudding and, let me tell you, it was by far the best I've ever had. I have raved about both our lunches so much, that now Hubby's jealous and wants to go tomorrow. Oh well, I guess I'll have to sacrifice and eat there again.

I love this place, the owners are always in charge to give you the best service ever!! I had a party in my house for my mexican husband and he loved the food that they catered for us. You should try their chilaquiles, nachos and flautas!!

  • Michele G.

Awesome Mexican food! Place is a hole in the wall and very easy you can walk right past it. But don't! It's great! It's like abuelita is in the back making the freshest goodness. He prices are not bad on the purse strings. Highly recommend. The place gets full quick and there are only 15 small tables so get here early! Enjoy!

  • Adolfo L. F.

Great place. Great food. It's small and located in a strip mall right in the Doral area (close to Dolphin Mall and Airport.) I've frequented this place many times and my cousin frequents it at least weekly and knows one of the cooks personally. It's just really good Mexican food in a residential area. If you're in Doral stop by it's right next to the Quizno's on 41st (Doral Blvd.) **Edit** Just a thought... Why would anyone pay 7-8 dollars for Quizno's when you have this place next door... Hmm ... ??? ... ** /Edit **

This place is great. I love their tacos because of their simplicity. The cilantro and onions make them fresh and remind me of when I lived in Mexico, especially the carnitas! I pretty much always get the carnitas tacos with corn tortillas. I am obsessed! Their chips and salsa are also superb. The pozole (soup) is also a regular of mine. Its very spicy but also very flavorful. Love this place!

I'm not joining the Fiesta Mexican Grill fan club just yet. I went yesterday and left a little underwhelmed. I had the Beef Enchilada and to be honest, I could hardly make out any taste in the meat. The food itself was pretty lukewarm when it was served, especially the nachos that my friend ordered. The place itself is quite clean and nicely kept but I wasn't doing backflips for the customer service. There really wasn't anything exceptional about it, just another fast food mexican place in another strip mall

    (2)
  • Emily V.

Returned a few weeks ago and they forgot one of our orders. Though when they realized their mistake they were very apologetic. The food just wasn't that great. There was WAY too much garlic in the guac. And the taquitos al pastor I got were meh. The beef and mexican chorizo taquitos were very dry. The chicken was ok. It just wasn't the best.

  • L. Michelle G.

Worst food I have eaten in 2 years. Absolutely disgusting. They don't cook all they do is stuff a warm tortilla with whatever you ordered. The meat is just sitting there and the guy heats it up for you and that's all. They give you the appetizer with your food and if you dare to order a soup all they do is pour some nasty soup they have sitting there into a cup and stick it in the microwave. I wouldn't let my American bulldog eat at this place and she has quite the appetite, but this is no food suitable for her. All in all the worst 25 bucks I've ever spent. If you want authentic Mexican food for the same price go to taco Rico on 87th avenue by the Walmart.. Great food. If anyone from this establishment wants to call me feel free 305 310 8201 se Habla espanol guey.

The best Mexican treasure In Doral, family own and operated. Excellent service, fresh and tasty. Very unexpensive $ clean. Worth the trip !!! Love the Tacos al pastor.

I like this quaint, mexican grill. The food is delicious, authentic, and freshly cooked as you wait. The price is good and the service friendly. This is not a restaurant where you are served by waiters/waitresses. You place your order and pick it up minutes after they prepare it for you.

Great place, always have the enchiladas rancheras. Place is tight, so going with a large group is not the best idea. 4 people max. If you want quick cheap mexican, go here.

Went here after visiting my gf at International Mall and looking up Mexican on Yelp. Based upon the reviews i read i knew it would be good. They were right, our food came really quick and was super fresh. I ordered a steak enchilada which was only 5.75 for 2 w/ rice and refried beans. My gf ordered a chicken fajita which was also delicious. The biggest thing was the chips and salsa. I judge a mexican place by the quality of its salsa. Their salsa has just the right amount of kick and was really fresh. They even gave us a tres leches after we ordered guac which my gf didnt want, so they just replaced it with a dessert. If im in the area i'll definitely go again. Fast and Fresh and Cheap

I was craving some Mexican food the orther day. I searched some places . It came down to two choices after reading the reviews. Man am I glad I picked this place The salsa is amazing no lie I'm not the only one who thinks so. My first experience was great with place I will be going back very soon.

A friend brought me to eat here many years ago and I became an instant fan & loyal customer ever since. The owners are the nicest most humble people (a Mexican man and his Cuban wife). Years ago I would see them always out there working hard (him cooking and her working the register) and as time passed, their clientele grew immensely, all by word of mouth. Trust that if you come and eat here you'll want to bring your friends to try it as well. It's too good not to share! Now you'll catch the owners occasionally during busy lunch hours helping out but they've hired staff to take care of business for them for the most part without losing their touch at making great authentic Mexican food. It is the best authentic Mexican food you'll find for the price. Cheap & Fast! My favorite is the steak quesadilla. Their ingredients are always fresh and their chips and salsa is delicious!

I love this place! Everyone is very friendly and they make it a point to remember there customers and make you feel like famiy. The cook Roberto is always smiling and is happy to accomodate any special request u may have while preparing your food. The food itself is very authentic and delicious. I recommend trying the tomatillo sauce. My friend had a creamy cilantro sauce that I cant wait to order the next time I go. Although I work in doral and live in Kendall I will often make the drive on my days off when I'm craving Mexican cuz other than making the drive out to homestead this is the closest place to me that I consider good Mexican food.

  • Janetxia B.

I honestly don't care much for Mexican food, but this place is absolutely great! I had the steak fajitas which were delicious. The nachos were really good and the re-fried beast were THE BEST I've ever had. The lady taking the orders seemed to know everyone that walked through the door which was really nice and she made everyone fell comfortable. The place itself was decorated nicely but it was kind of tight. I would definitely return very soon!

I love this place too! The owner, Gypsy, is fabulous and remembers my favorite order everytime I go in! How's that for service, even if it's been too long. They make their salsas fresh and the taste comes thru. Very good for lunch or a cheap dinner.

  • Peony Y.

AMAZING FISH TACOS! Great tasting fish, grilled to perfection (crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside) with tasty seasoning. Pretty good guacamole also. (A little spicier than I was used to, but delicious.) The steak tacos here were also good, but kind of on the average side. They also serve Jarritos here which I like. And good, informal atmosphere, aka you serve yourself. If you're looking for a place with good, cheap mexican food - this is it.

  • carlos s.

If you're in the mood for Mexican food this place is definitely it. I had a Tortilla Soup that was absolutely amazing. I followed that up with their Cilantro Burrito which was perfect. With it's mixture of chicken and pork that was perfectly seasoned, topped off with a cilantro sauce. All that in a burrito that was toasty on the outside which made for a great seal. No mess at all which is what I liked best. My girlfriend had also enjoyed it as well. She had a Seafood Soup which she said was delicious and some tacos which were great.

As soon as i arrived at my hotel, i searched for taco places finding 20 within a two mile radius. I love Miami. I love tacos. What more is there to say? Pros- tacos, rice n beans, drink = 7$ Salsa bar Quick Delicious cons- Rude staff. But I don't care. Miami's not the friendliest place. .

  • Betsy D.

I went in with a friend because we were craving Mexican after a long day at the pool. We ordered a special they had advertised outside that was two beers and guac for $10. I ordered the shrimp tacos and my friend ordered the chorizo tostada. The food was incredibly underwhelming. The guac was questionable. My shrimp tacos were basically over cooked shrimp with raw onions and cilantro. The worst. My friend only had one of her tostadas and didn't enjoy it. The best part of our meal was the beer. We won't be coming here again.

I love mexican food and give this place 5 stars! You order at the counter and the staff is friendly. You can tell there are many regulars who know the staff. I had the combo platter...re fried beans, chips, enchilada, tostada(chicken), taco (steak) for $7.50!!! You pick 3 items you what and even the type if filling...chicken,cheese,steak. Steak and chicken had good seasoning and wasn't fatty. Re fried beans were tasty and topped with cheddar cheese. Taco and tostada had lettuce & tomato. Tostada also had guac and dour cream. Enchilada was filled with yummy cheddar cheese and topped with a red flavorful sauce. The food wAs excellent and is served up quickly. They have seating for about 30 people. There were tables available at Tuesday 1pm. There is a salsa bar with three levels of spice for the homemade salsas. Parking is in the parking lot out front for free. It's in a strip mall...very easy to find. I will definitely be back!!

Very authentic Mexican restuarant in the heart of Doral. Cheap, but filling and great quality. I had a steak chimi and my fiance had the chicken burrito. Service is just enough: order at the counter and they bring it to your table. Fast service and nice because it's open later. We will definitely be back!

  • Julian V.

Okay so i give this restaurant 3 stars, not because the food is bad or service is bad or because of a bad experience but simply because its a 3 star restaurant. the food is okay, the decorations are okay, the place is a little tight but okay. its great for lunch but not for dinner. If you want really great Mexican go elsewhere. but if you want out on lunch and you want some tacos you won't go wrong.

  • Mark H.

Mexican food can be great, but "Mexican" food can be awful. This place wasn't awful, but it was below expectations. I think ingredients are partly to blame here. Mexican food shouldn't be smothered with cheddar cheese, and sour cream is great for Taco Bell, but it isn't really part of traditional Mexican cooking - queso blanco is. True Mexican is spicy and flavorful, but this place is Mexican-American food. It's a little bland, a little too fatty and less spicy than great Mexican. It shouldn't be that hard to find a good Mexican cook in Miami. Find her (or him) and let her (or him) start purchasing the ingredients and changing the menu. As it is, I'll pass.

    (2)
  • Madeline O.

Definitely not deserving of the 4/5 stars. Very boring american-mexican food. Nothing authentic about it. The corn tortillas were very dry and chewy, the salsa had no flavor to it. If you are used to good Californian mexican food, definitely don't go here.

    (2)
  • Fred M.

Ok- here it the deal folks. This is a fast food restaurant that really misses the mark. The quality is fair. The tortilla chips are old and the 2 people working there could care less about your dining experience. If you get sucked in to go by Yelp as we did, order the seafood soup and demand fresh chips and leave! Sorry this is not good!

Best mexican restaurant in Miami, great selection of food and the service is great i can eat at this place every single day.

  • Jennifer S.

I love this place. It's simple, legit mexican food (as legit as it gets in Doral) and really inexpensive. I love the quesadilla with guac on the side and the fajitas. My bf always gets the steak burrito with cilantro sauce. I haven't ordered anything I didn't like.

    (5)
  • Frank M.

This is the real deal spot to eat Mexican. Food is fresh and delicious. I eat here every other day and my experience is always 100. Try the new mexican rice bowl it's good.

    (5)
  • Jeff G.

I eat here often with a co-worker, it's our usual food stop for lunch. I've never had a bad meal here, food is always fresh, and the owners are always nice. Prices are relatively cheap, especially for Doral. I tend to order around the menu, and I can't say I have a definite favorite as everything is good. Keep in mind though, this is not Tex-Mex, so if you're looking for hard shell tacos and deep fried burrito then this might not be the place for you. If you're looking for fresh, honest food, then by all means come.

First time I came I ordered a quesadilla. It was decent, nothing out of this world but wasn't bad either. Second time I got the taco salad.. It has absolutely no flavor. I needed to add salt & hot sauce just to add some flavor to it if not I wouldn't have eaten it. Everything is just mediocre, there refried beans, chicken, salsa. Oh & if you like spicey food this is definitely not the place for you. Food has no kick to it what so ever & the hot sauce is a joke. They don't have any bottled hot sauces either. The only reason I gave it 3 stars was because my boyfriend enjoyed his cilantro burrito. I tried it, it was just a regular burrito with a sauce poured over it. I thought it was "ok". Probably won't come back any time soon.

My husband's colleague has been a long-time friend to this establishment, and when they met Dennis they immediately treated him (and me, via proxy) the same way they've treated Mario for a decade: like family. Go and try the tamales, Mexican tacos (LOVE the carnitas!) and the orchata. Try not to make yourself completely sick at their all-you-can-eat salsa bar. Lots of chips with every meal. One of the best value lunches in Doral--for sure!

I came here with coworkers for lunch. They come here often since they love this place. I wasn't really impressed with the food but it's a decent lunch spot and inexpensive which is great. The staff was pleasant and the food was good. I ordered the steak tacos al pastor (with onions and cilantro) which is my favorite style of tacos. I didn't think they steak had enough flavor. I added some lime and it made the flavor better. I also had a side of guacamole which was overloaded with onions. Eek! I finished the meal off with a mini guava cheesecake which came in a tiny cup (so cute, it was impossible to not try). But again, I wasn't impressed. The place is definitely clean and the staff friendly which is a plus! A lot of people like this place so maybe I got it on a bad day. I'm open to giving them another chance and I'll update my review if I do.

Owned and run by married couple who will make you feel like a regular on your very first visit. They pride themselves on remembering what you ordered last time and any special requests you may have had. This type of love and attention is something you just can't fake. Now on to the nom-noms: the quesadillas are not your bland, skinny, run-of-the-mill concoctions with nothing in the middle but cheese. These bad boys are stuffed with guacamole, refried beans, meat of your choice, lots of melty cheese and you can add fixins such as grilled onions and even mushrooms! Their burritos are big and filling and you can top them with any sauce of your choice - my personal preference is the cilantro sauce. On a cold day be sure to ask for la sopa de mariscos (seafood soup/bisque). My guess is that they add maizena to thicken the sauce and it does wonders for the creamy, delish taste. At most other restaurants I steer clear of latin desserts like the arroz con leche because I just know it will be a disappointment when compared to my mom's, but this one comes pretty darn close to that sweet, sinful goodness. Cheap, delicious, quick, FRESH Mexican perfect for the lunchtime rush. I've been coming here for a few years for lunch and they never disappoint. I have had almost every dish on the menu by now and what I love most is the fact that you are not bound to the menu items only; if there is something you want, just ask them and they will happily whip it up for you.

Love this place@ The service is good and the prices are great! Fast delivery and they are so busy the food is always fresh. I eat steak tacos, chicken flautas or chicken salad. Never a miss. It's my go to spot for lunch in doral!

As a Mexican-American and traveling to many different places around the globe, I have to say that this the absolute worst Mexican restaurant I have been to in my entire life. They should be ashamed to call this a Mexican restaurant. The queso is equivalent to what you get at the movie theaters, the horchata is crap, and the refrained beans taste like garbage. Save your money and go to Taco Bell because is way more authentic than this place!!

This was my go-to spot in Miami for lunch. Their tacos are delicious and their agua de horchata is legit. They have really great service too. The only cons are that it's kind of small and fills up quickly. But you can always just do take-out.

My sister witch loves Mexican food as much as I do and after reading her review, I have had this place bookmarked forever. Several times while in the area we tried to pop in but unfortunately it happened to be on a Sunday, the only day they are closed. So, needless to say I just happened to see Carla L.'s updated review and I said that is it, we are going tonight! The restaurant is filled with warmth from the moment you walk in. Not quite sure but the lady behind the counter who took our order might have been the owner. She was so patient as it was our first time looking at the menu. She made several suggestions and was ever so sweet. Yes, you walk in, grab a menu and order at the counter. Simple, casual place with amazing prices. I mean really this is what Mexican food should cost. Not $18 for three two inch taco's. Geez! We ordered guacamole and chips, they were good, loved the chips, guacamole was good just not great. Hubby wanted to try the tamales as well, one order came with two tamales with tomatillo sauce on top. Oh yes, please! I ordered the steak taco's and hubby ordered the fish taco's. The freshness of all the food was very noticeable. From the perfectly seasoned steak, to the fresh homemade tortilla's, and oh my the fish taco's were incredible. All of our food was excellent! They also have a salsa bar with mild, medium, and hot salsa. All of them were delicious. I so enjoyed taking the chips and dipping them into the hot salsa. Hot and spicy, oh so good. They serve bottle's of beer and soft drinks but the best part is the restaurant is so clean, so warm and inviting, it makes you feel as if you are dining in their home. Food is excellent quality and again the prices are ridiculously inexpensive. Everything is freshly prepared and you can just taste the pride and passion coming from these local owners who do it right. The greatest part of the night besides the incredible food was when we were pleasantly surprised when our friends Carla & Gustavo walked in to surprise us. It was so awesome catching up with them, as they make the best company. And no surprise, since they visit this restaurant so often, everyone knows them. Great evening with good friends, and great food. Now if I lived a bit closer I can promise I would be there weekly, no doubt about it. Check this great authentic Mexican restaurant out, no frills, excellent service, good food and well worth the visit. Thanks C & G, we finally got to your favorite spot and was very impressed.

Quick, tasty, hot, friendly, and great prices... Small place with a family feel. For fast Mexican that beats Taco Bell, these guys are great. Would recommend. Don't be put off by the plastic utensils... the food is genuine, as is the appeal. Plan on going again!

I love going to Fiesta. The pork fajitas are AMAZING. I haven't tried much else because I love those so much. I like to ask for the cilantro sauce added to it. It's a lot of food for an affordable price, and the people are very friendly. It gets super busy during the lunch and dinner hours and has been there for about 12 years ( the owner told me when he was chatting with me one time the line was very long). Seems to me they're doing it right if they've been there 12 years. Delicious. I love going there when I don't want to cook and I don't want to sit down at a restaurant.

We are regular patrons to Fiesta Mexican Grill and have been noticing a very disturbing trend. When you order more than one item they charge you a higher price taking advantage that you are not going to make the calculation of the total. The first time I thought it was just a mistake but It has happened several times. When ordered one plate they charged me the price listed on the menu (because it's easier for someone to spot the overcharge) but when I later ordered two plates in the same ticket they charged me .45 cents more for each (assuming that I wasn't going to do the calculation) when asked about the difference they mentioned their prices had increased although the menu and the board outside showed the lesser price. They take advantage that people are always in a rush and that they use an old cash register that easily allows them to charge more whenever they want. I know it has to have happened to more people. I do not understand why they have to resort to shady practices if they have a good product. Please do your calculations including tax before ordering and share your findings here.

I'd love to give Fiesta Mexican Grill a little better rating because their food isn't bad. But from my experience that I'm about to explain will answer why I am giving them 2 stars. I usually frequent this establishment during though rush hours and I know that they produce the food as you order and usually after I order I'd sit down and wait for my order to be called to pick it up. if you are pressed for time, allow a little more time because the lunch rush can get this place busy. This small family operated Mexican joint offers you the classics offerings and some selections that will match a low carb life style. Orders will come with chips and there is a self serve salsa bar available in the dining area at your convenience. But the last visit wasn't one of the best ones. Ordered the guacamole with chips, got more onions than Guacamole...should've called it a free-colored avocado flavored onion dip if you'd ask me. I ordered the tamales and the rest of my party ordered burritos. The food was not bad tasting...BUT the catch is...EVERYTHING was MICROWAVED in front of our eyes!!!! Not for nothing, but I don't think restaurants should even be allowed to have microwaves. If I wanted a microwaved meal, I should've just bought one at a local supermarket and did it myself. This truly knocked their rating down so far after I witnessed all of our food being microwaved. DISSAPOINTED. SOOOOOOOOO DISSAPOINTED. What can I say? This almost makes me not even give this establishment another try. Fiesta Mexican Grill, Please don't microwave your food anymore. Thanks, Sad customer...

This is a place where you can eat good food for a great price. The food was made very fast, and it was pretty good given the price. I came here with my family and we found something to our liking. Service was good too. I gave 3 stars cause I've had a lot of Mexican food in my day and this wasn't the best, but it was good. It's a quick bite after work type of place.

I came here for lunch today to have some tacos. Fiesta has a good clean atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, and I ended up ordering a chicken taco, a carne asada taco, and a carne asada burrito. It was very cheap, just over $10, and it came with chips and salsa. Food presentation was on point, and my order came out within 5 minutes. Everything was good - tacos, burrito, chips and salsa. I had the tomatillo green salsa, which was warm and very tasty with the chips, I have eaten in Mexico, and lived in Chula Vista for a few months, so I have had my fair share of authentic Mexican cuisine. That being said, the food doesn't taste like Mexican to me. The carne asada was shredded beef that while tasty, it wasn't the carne asada I have came to love over in Mexico. The chips were ok, but not my style. The tomato salsa was lacking a strong flavor. Don't get me wrong, the food tastes good and everything went down well. It just doesn't taste like the real thing. It is like eating NY style pizza in New York, then having NY pizza down here - it might look similar, but the taste is very different. That being said, I would give this place another shot to see if it can change my mind.

So good it deserves an update. Food made the way I *heart* it, service with a smile, people who learn who you are and say hi by name when they do. Great food, awesome prices. The Tacos are great, the food is fresh and incredibly tasty. My current favorite? The fish tacos... love, love, love them and the Quesadillas done the way I like them, with Guac, refried beans and a leeeeetle bit of cheese, cooked well done please! For the rest of you, just ask for it the way you like it and it will be done that way. We come here a lot. It is definitely worth it!

This place is great! The burritos and quesadillas are awesome and the salsas are pretty good. They're selection of drinks is also pretty good, definitely have the jarritos. Probably the number one Mexican restaurant in Doral. They really need to make some tamales and Mexican bread though.

Yummy food and incredibly sweet, attentive staff. Don't expect fancy shmancy; this is one of those spots where everyone goes just for the aforementioned. I'm hooked on their seafood bisque and spicy ceviche. Their cilantro sauce goes well with everything so I always ask for some on the side. Tip: If you're going around noon, save yourself from waiting in line by simply calling ahead of time and placing your order.

This is a great little authentic Mexican restaurant. Great real simple menu. I had 2 taco platter 1 beef and 1 chicken they made them extra spicy for me. My friend had the Carnitas he really like them. I was so happy to see they had Horchata, something I can't get in New York and I miss having it (since I'm from San Diego, CA) They had 3 types of salsa in their salsa bar I went for the hot and it didn't disappoint. I will defiantly come back when I'm in the area.

3.5 stars, food seems homemade, like made from scratch. The only thing that feels not made from scratch is the frijoles. Went for lunch with a co-worker. The ambiance feels mexican! Lots of people during lunch, good sign, there is turn over and there is people eating in! I decided to order the Tacos al Pastor, which is 3 different tortillas served, with a side of rice and frijoles. The tortillas were, chorizo mexicano (that my first bite was not at all pleasant, since I don't eat that much chili, I felt the chili in my throat!!!), grilled chicken and grilled meat. Everything is prepared to order. A very nice lady took our order, I think she was the owner. There are only 2 people at the place, so you make sure you order everything you want since the beginning, if not, they will get busy after. There was always people ordering at the counter when we were having lunch. This establishment has been here for 15 years... I guess that says something... feels like homemade food.

I love this place! You cannot get better AUTHENTIC Mexican food anywhere else. I discovered this little gem by accident, but I'm so glad I stumbled upon it. The restaurant serves tacos, quesadillas, salads and most importantly their guacamole. Fiesta also has Corona, Dos Equis and a few other drinks to keep the party in your mouth going. My favorite dish has to be the quesadillas and by far the healthiest thing on the menu, the Atkens Salad. The salad comes with either chicken or steak, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomato and guac. All dishes come with a serving of chips on side as well. You can choose from an array of sauces to accompany your little tortilla chips too! I always get the quesadillas. The people that work here are really friendly and fast! Every time I order I get my food in under 10 minutes. Fiesta Mexican Grill is a must try for the Mexican eaters out there.

If your in a hurry and in the area, the food here is reasonable. Don't expect to be wowed, its a humble mom and pop kinda place. The inside is small and the tables are in close proximity to one another. I rate it 3 stars because normally when I think mom and pop, I know the decor will be lacking but I expect the food to be tasty. At best the food here was average. Not impressed :/

Talk about fresh! As we were ordering up front with a very friendly and polite woman, a also polite and happy gentleman started preparing our order. As a first time patron, we were faced with various delicious options. I went with something familiar - Flautas - these are nicely rolled up tortillas filled with grilled chicken. These were yummy crunchy delights! Two in an order served with cream re-fried beans and a very tasty yellow rice. Hubby went with the Tacos Pastor - this consisted of 3 soft tortillas each filled with a scrumptious flavor - 1 with spicy mexican chorrizo, 1 with steak and 1 with pork. Also served with the re-fried beans and yellow rice. Filling and delicious as well. The chips are really good and the 3 sauces available are delicious as well. We tried all 3 but had a difficult time stating away from the HOT one! Taste buds were having a party with this one!!! Please was clean, serve was super quick and pleasant. Price - was amazing. Affordable. Serves beer. Good place for some good mexican eats...

If I could give zero stars I would. My boyfriend and I read the reviews and this place seemed amazing. I should have realized something was amiss when we walked into a completely empty restaurant. My Fiesta Burrito with steak was disgusting. Reheated and bland. My boyfriends steak enchilada was also clearly reheated and the meat was dry. We also ordered queso dip with chips. The chips were STALE and the dip was cold and lumpy. It had obviously been reheated. The worst part? Our food had been microwaved on styrofoam plates. DO YOU WANT YOUR CUSTOMERS TO DIE?

I've been going here for years! My family has become friends with the employees and owners and its never disappoints. Everything is delicious and the horchata, a Mexican rice drink is the best I've ever had outside of Mexico. I LOVE their refried beans as well.

  • Grace T.

I want to really, really give this place a better review but if a Mexican place chooses to make Horchata from powder and sell that at a restaurant..stop selling it, really. They dug their own grave when it tasted more like water than a creamy, delicious rice drink. The people who run the business are very nice, though. The lady behind the counter noticed that my nails were chipped and began to fuss about them more than my momma. Kinda made me feel like somebody cared! They have a small selection of salsas which were fun to try out with the complimentary chips you get with your order. Highlight of the trip: the suadero tacos. They were tender, chewy, tasted as if it was fried and oh-so good in a not so good for your health type of way.

Omg. WORST food I have ever eaten in my life!!! EVER! The tortilla was so dry and tasted like cardboard, while the meat was disgusting and tasted so fake. I ordered 4 tacos. Could not even finish one! I threw the whole plate away! WORST place ever!

  • Sabrina L.

so my hubbie and I visited this place with high expectations...wrong move... My husband ordered the sampler and I had the vegetarian tacos with a side of chips and guacamole. The chips were ok..... the guacamole salsa was too spicy/too many spices in it too ...weird taste... My husband's sampler was bland...he was quite disappointed with the overall taste. The flautas were dry, quite small. I've bought bigger ones in Costco, the quesadillas were average. My tacos were also quite small, almost no beans, and the combination of beans with mushrooms and I don't know what else...didn't seem quite right.... I did see the sticker outside the door saying We are loved by Yelp or something of that sort....but....I am sorry...this yelper does not love you. I don't know if they were having a bad day or something...but from the rest of the reviews I feel like we went to a different restaurant altogether.

Don't expect too much from Fiesta Mexican Grill. Yes, it's definitely a cheap place to get Mexican food, but that's about it. The food is okay - not too great, not too horrible. We ordered the Fiesta Burrito (with steak) and Steak Tacos on flour tortillas, with tortilla chips and the hot, medium and mild salsas from the salsa cabinet. We've had better burritos and tacos. Restaurant Pet Peeve #243: Microwaves. The cook microwaved my Fiesta Burrito, to melt the cheese that was on top of the burrito. WTF? I'm not entirely sure if they had a broiler to use for melting cheese, or if they usually use the microwave for melting. Ok, so food's ready - I see that my burrito was warmed up in the microwave - on a Styrofoam plate! Damn, at least use a paper plate - it'd be nice not to have chemicals released into my food, thanks.

I went during lunch yesterday, and ordered the chicken fajitas. Kudos to the kitchen staff (they make it fresh there) for a very tasty and non-greasy chicken. The refried beans were alright, and they didn't give me any cheese to add to the fajita. I also got only two tortillas - most restaurants give 3 tortillas. They tasted good though! These two things cost it one star. They also could have given some more chips. However, even the mild salsa was great..it had just the perfect afterkick. I'll definitely have to go in after work, and check out their adult beverages, as well as explore if there are any desserts.

got it's fifth star coz of new menu discoveries... the seafood bisque and the carnitas lime flour tacos are INSANELY DELICIOUS... also the tortilla soup is my favorite in the city. i love this place. unassuming, delicious, great service... im a HUGE FAN. If your in Doral, make sure to drop by, coz this little mexican haven is one of the best in Miami.

This place beats chipotle and Moe's Southwestern grill by far! Fresh, way better quality food and better sauces. It also helps that it's authentic Mexican. Their quesadillas are my favorite! Their portions are great and it's very affordable lunch.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
