I read several reviews on Yelp and Google and most stated that this is the place to go in Crestview for Chinese Buffet; a few others claimed this place was poor. So, I went with the majority and took a chance. Outcome was that our food was OK, not amazing or not horrible. I just don't feel the price of dining there was worth what I received in return. If the prices were about $10-15 cheaper overall then I would probably not have written this review. It wasn't one thing that I didn't like, overall the attire was run down and the food was again just OK. I just thought from the positive reviews the restaurant would be much nicer place. But for $45 (not including the tip) for two adults and two kids, way too expensive and not worth it (in my opinion). Also, just like in other reviews, the server asked my kids how old they were, not me... Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and courteous. But a huge part of the dining experience is the ambience of the establishment; the owners really need to invest in updated furnishings, etc... Will I go back? Maybe, I would like to give them another chance to prove me wrong.

Food cold if anyone says anything good about this place they are connected to them or think McDonald's is great too the building is clean and nice but I did not go in for the building

Went against a friend's review and I paid for it. Do NOT waste your time going there. The food lacked flavor, the placed smelled like an old and musky sock and they lost power while we're there. I wasn't $30+. I don't know how they rcvd an A rating back a few mths ago. The staff was very friendly.

Ordered delivery which is a really nice service, especially for Crestview. I ordered chicken lo mein and a philly roll. The chicken lo mein was mush. The philly roll's "salmon" was (as far as I can tell) tuna salad. The delivery man was extremely awkward and honestly, creepy. He handed me the receipt but no pen so I asked for a pen and he said, in car. Why wouldn't you bring a pen to the customer!? The chopsticks were so cheap, I have a splinter in my tongue. I gave them a chance after hearing they had new management but won't be eating there again.

Nothing about the Golden Buffet stands out as absolutely delicious, but they offer a HUGE selection at a very reasonable price. I come from a family who likes to order several different menu items and share them all, so when my daughter and I go out for Chinese, we prefer buffet-style dining. This allows us to sample several different selections without over-spending, over-eating, or over-indulging. The staff is always friendly and helpful, quick to respond, and quietly out-of-the-way. The food is somewhat mediocre on some days, but there are other days when everything is delicious. The owners at the Golden Dragon Buffet also catered my Girl Scout Troop's end-of-year party this year, and the food there was DELICIOUS. One of our parents picked it up and brought it to us, and we set it out and let the girls & their families dig in and eat. Several people were surprised that the Golden Dragon had catered the food, and promised to stop in and try the buffet some day soon. We were eating cheese wontons, fried rice, egg drop soup, and chicken-on-a-stick well into the next morning (the party was a lock-in for the girls), and all the girls were THRILLED with their personal selections. And yes, the sweet tea is good. :) So, THANK YOU Golden Dragon Buffet for the deliciously catered meal on May 6th! And my daughter and I will CONTINUE to eat at your restaurant!

Only reason i came was for the pho in a town where this is the only resturant that servs pho ill take it but cant even compare or come close to authentic pho

Plain yuck. And it's such a disappointment, too, because they have an extensive buffet. I tried to give them a chance by ordering off the menu to go and it was also bad.
