I wad so skeptical when we walked into this place. I never have been to a bar with such great food. I had the Spicy Brian which is a buffalo chicken sandwich, and my Dad and boyfriend had the fish and chips. It was all great. Definitely the best, spiciest buffalo chicken sandwich I've ever had. The fish and chips were also really good. Live music came in towards the end of our meal and it was actually nice. Beatles songs and other oldies really well covered buy some guy on a guitar. Not super loud, we could still talk and a few people were quietly singing along and bopping to the beat. Don't underestimate this place!

While we were a party of 30 people and they took our reservation 2 hours before we came, the service was very slow and I don't think they were ready for us. They also never answered my phone call again to change the reservation after I called 15 times with no answer! We were never able to get drink refills when asked so everyone from our party continued to go to the bar for drinks instead. However, the food was fabulous but they were out of many things we requested from the menu and it took quite a while for everyone to be served.

Great atmosphere! The service was good, and so was the food. My Scotch eggs were warm on the outside, but the egg itself was cold, which is a little confusing based on the composition of the dish. Karaoke was a ton of fun! But... the speakers are very loud. All in all, it was a quality experience and I would definitely return.

We were headed to another restaurant to see our favorite bartender when I spotted this place. I am so glad we made a U-turn. Holy cow is Devenneys a great find! The food is fantastic, the service impeccable and there is a great selection on tap. I highly recommend avoiding the chain restaurants and coming here for a bit of Ireland. Seriously good eats and they have a menu for the "nippers" I am really looking forward to coming back

Used to be great. I ate there many times, but they changed ownership. Both of our orders came to us wrong after waiting 45 minutes. After we got them fixed, it was so greasy it was inedible. The entertainment was even poor as the lounge singer guy had problems with his equipment.

What a great find. We picked up relative from the airport & decided to eat here. This was on a Thursday night. The place was really busy. We were promptly sat down & our drink orders were taken. We decided on a pitcher of draft beer. $9. That's cheep. I had the corned beef and cabbage. It was good but the corned beef was a little dry. Wife had Steak & Guinness Pie, pieces of beef with mushrooms and onions in a Guinness reduction settled in a puff pastry. Served with sautéed vegetables and garlic mashers. She said it was really good.the service was great. We would return.

Definitely a place to go instead of the touristy trap shops! Oh and Casey is AWESOME!

Nice decor, it looks like a good bar for hanging out. We stopped in and I had the shepards pie, I'm not sure if it's authentic but it was delicious.

Great little irish bar and eatery. The beer prices are good and the Irish food is on point. No Breakfast for you folks looking for and english breakfast but the shapers pie and bangers and mash are very well done. I'm excited about going back to try several other dishes

We came here to try something new. The atmosphere was great and authentic. We order the NY strip and build your own burger. Bothe were very very good and fresh. I ordered Scottish egg and was pleasantly surprised how good it was. But I did order a pint of harp it was a little expensive for 5.50. Overall great place and should be busier with grey food an friendly staff. We will be back. Thanks

I wonder at times how this place stays open. It's never really busy at times and when your drive past it you don't see anyone there like you wonder if it's even open anymore. It might be partly due to its location and ability to get to it. The place is a little small. Reminds you of the pubs you would find in the touristy sections of the UK. Not a bad thing at all The food well it's ok. Portion sizes are leaning toward the small side with mediocre flavour. That is if they have the items you want. Been a few times different days of the week and then tend to be out of this or that. Found glass in one of our parties beer from clearly the broken glass it was poured on and served. Beer was replaced but really didn't seem to care or warrant much of any concern. At least comp the beer that you could of injured someone with. So the attention to that detail is lacking. Just not one of those destination locations it's more like yeah I guess lets go here type of place.

Absolutely the worst experience I could imagine! Waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for appetizers and 2 hours until the last member of our party was served (yes, 2 hours). The owner's reply was "we were slammed" yet the restaurant was half empty!

  • Brenna P.

Great burger and my husband loved his fish and chips. Seriosuly, why isn't egg on every burger? The beer selection was more limited than I would have expected, but the service was decent. We would definitely eat here again (although it's waaaaaay out there!)

  • Jeff H.

was fantastic when first opened, but the 4 owners(yes 4) were much too difficult and the chef left and it went down hill ever since. Don't bother

We stopped here on the way back from universal. Great shepherds pie with steak instead of ground beef and a rich gravy. Very well done. Even though it was late they were very accommodating.

  • Kara S.

Horrible.....no Snithwicks, no Boddingtons. Out of scotch eggs out of. Only soda was coke. Order Came Out wrong. I could go on like waited 45 min for apps

Mark A. & I were lucky enough to find this pub on a Thursday night after one of our many Disney trips. Why lucky? Because it was trivia night! Although we came in during the 2nd to last round and couldn't jump in, I had fun trying to think of the answers myself. There were a couple Disney questions... right up our alley! The DJ/Trivia Master also plays a song in between questions that may or may not be a clue. How fun! During tally time, he plays some pretty bomb music. I was having a blast singing along. After a long day of being out in the sun, we weren't too inclined for any alcoholic beverages, so I can't speak for that. BUT I did order the sampler platter: potato skins, stuffed mushrooms, chicken tenders, and onion rings. Chicken tenders and onion rings are practically the same everywhere, so nothing to note there. The potato skins were great! First time I've seen them come with pico de gallo on top. Stuffed mushrooms, though, not my fave. So the food is only ok, but the environment is such great fun! (At least on Thursdays, anyway.)

Great for locals and vacationers who want to get away from the crowded chains. Have a cold drink or some good food. The menu has a nice selection for everyone. The owner is super friendly and is a great leader to her staff. Everyone makes you feel welcome here. If you are nearby, be sure to check it out.

We are here on holidays and went based on Yelp ratings. The food might be great-except we never got to try it as our party of six waited 15 minutes while another two groups in front of us also were waiting to be seated. Ultimately the groups in front of us left and so did we. We did notice only one server working with the bar half-full. I guess business must be exceptional as they apparently didn't need our business or the other clients as we all left at the same time.

Decided to drop in for dinner with my large family on a recent vacation. Top quality food, beer, and service. I liked it enough to go back again the next night - which is not something I normally do. It's just one step off of the beaten path. Just around the corner from the flood of chains on 192 is a real gem. Burgers, Haddock, Fish and Chips, Chicken Burger etc were all fantastic. My only regret was I never left enough room for the Bread Pudding. With the big group we sat outside and then ate inside the next night. Both were very comfortable.

Rebecca and Co. are actually English, so this is only "Irish" in the sense that us 'Merkins tend to conflate the Irish, Scots, Welsh and English, so it's probably just good marketing to call it an "Irish" pub. That's not to knock the place, at all, and they'll celebrate St. Andrew's, St. George's, Guy Fawkes and St. Patrick's Day as well as Champion's League football and Orlando City games. Families are definitely a part of the experience and you'll find large extended groups of three generations of expats and wintering overseas guests from the Isles hanging out. In other words, this is a fun, authentic public house to celebrate just about anything. Food is fine, meat pies, mushy peas with malt vinegar, scotch eggs, fish-n-chips and beer comes in pint. Live Irish music by Johnny on Sundays, hysterical trivia night (Thursdays), especially when us yanks also have to decode the accent, karaoke, more live music... And, of course, all run with a smile and a wisecrack or two from Rebecca, bar keep par excellence.

In town for a few weeks, I have been heed several times. Friendly staff, good basic pub food. Just a comfortable place with items like shepards pie and other Irish standards. Guinness on tap, served properly. Looks like a local older crowd, I'm sure has found that same great home feel to the place. I recommend.

I'm giving this place 2 stars because although the food was acceptable, the service was horrendous. It took me and my group over 3 hours from the point we were seated to the point we were brought our checks. Many of the orders were wrong, or the food was cold. I will not be returning.

Great place! Friendly staff, beautiful building inside and out. The Bangers and Mash were great. The portion size was equal to the price! Thank you! I would definitely come back, Devenney's will have gain a repeat customer in me!

The pub was right next to the resort we were staying at, so we decided to give this place a try. It was excellent! They have happy hour specials and the food was really good. I highly recommend!

Literally the ONLY thing wrong with Devenney's is it's location... It's kind of in the middle of nowhere. It's listed as Clermont, but I live in Clermont and it takes me almost 20 minutes to get there. That said, the atmosphere is great! The food is always great! The bar staff are the friendliest people you'll ever meet and the atmosphere is about as AUTHENTIC as it gets!! Just a great bar and restaurant and place to hang out... If it was closer to my house, we'd be there a lot more often.

My boyfriend and I stopped here for lunch on a Saturday and we were two of five people here. A shot of Feckin Whiskey was inexpensive at $2.50, but a pint of beer for $5 was very high for the area. The food was expensive and subpar. The ruben had more sauerkraut than anything else and came with frozen, Ore Ida fries. A fellow patron was from Ireland, and his Steak and Guiness pie was didn't taste quite like it should either. I felt like i was robbed after I left.

Overrated and overpriced. The food isn't bad, but the two times I've been there I haven't been impressed. We went with a friend from England so she could try out the fish and chips and English breakfast, she said it was okay, but still... not impressed. I will not be going back.

Randomly stopped in Devenney's while driving past with a friend and was pleasantly surprised. We were one of two groups in the location and considering it was a Saturday night, we were a little turned off by this. However two Magners later, I knew this was a good place. The food was good, Magners pretty good, (obviously not as good as in Belfast, but still), and the server was so nice. She was really friendly and we enjoyed talking to her! Good place to check out!

We stopped by here while on vacation. My family was pleasantly surprised by the food, atmosphere, and service. The young lass that waited on us told of her future embarkment into marriage. She was very helpful in selecting a platter as well as suggesting sides. When the food came, I knew that she knew what she was talking about. We enjoyed the Haddock fish and chips, onion rings, pizza, and the bbq sandwich. As I understood, they just recently took over this business. I like supporting non-chain restaurants. Stop by and enjoy good food and good service! Eric

Atmosphere alone is worth the trip. The food was amazing. Our family has lived in the 4 corner area for almost 2 years. We have always passed by Devenney's Pub since we are not big Irish food fans. Tonight, we "bit the bullet" and tried it since there was live Irish music and dancing. Our 3 year old and 12 year old loved it. We are ashamed of ourselves for not going earlier. VERY good prices and the corned beef melts in your mouth. Service was very friendly and quick. I am not sure why the negative reviews but this place is somewhere we will visit again! The people who say it is expensive, must be used to eating at Burger King's dollar menu. It is cheaper than most places of it's caliber. NOWHERE in FL can you get a pitcher of Killian's for 7.50!

We found ourselves in the mood for some Irish fare and discovered Devenney's. We were pleased that they had more options for Irish beer than just Guiness and the menu featured some basic options, but lacked a lot of the food we came to love in our recent visit to Ireland. The fish and chips were good, but the shepherd's pie tasted like someone opened a can of beef stew and poured the contents over instant potatoes. The service was good though the prices were high for pub food.

Stopped by when I was in town cool looking laid back irish pub with lots of TVs and friendly people. Food is ok its exactly what an irish pub is suppose to be

Great place to go if you are visiting. Very friendly staff and the owner is unusually nice. My fiancée and I went for a beer and got treated like family. I'll stop at this spot every time I'm in the Orlando area.

What a find - thanks to Yelp! First hurdle of any place claiming to be Irish should be how they serve Guinness - nailed the proper pour, and temperature. Our group of 4 thought the Ruben, and homemade desserts were the best we'd had anywhere! Very friendly staff. We're here for the week, and expect we'll be back a few times!

We recently had dinner and have to say the food was terrible . The onion rings were dripping in grease and the flys in the restaurant and on the table and food was discussing. We will not go back.

I admit we only had a couple of appetizers and those were typical tasting. But a group of us had drinks for an unexpected birthday celebration and we all had a good time. The service was top-notch, the prices were good, the drinks were good and the band got better with the evening. Stop in, order a long island and tell em Apryl sent ya...not that they know who I am but if you're reading this - then I sent ya! :-)

I went to Devenney's awhile ago for lunch when it first opened and thought it was OK. I recently tried it again mainly b/c I had a restaurant.com coupon. I went there early on a Saturday around 5pm so it wasn't busy and I didn't get to experience their live entertainment but I do hear it's quite fun. We ordered the appetizer sampler platter, 1/2 order of fish & chips, and their burger. The food was more than plenty. What I liked best was the sausage in puff pastry. That was very good. The Scotch Eggs, which I like were to heavily breaded for my taste and crumbled when you cut them and so you couldn't eat it all together. The fish and chips were ok as well, greasy. The burger was for my child and she didn't have any problem with that. We had the lava cake for dessert which was very average. Not that I expected much being an Irish restaurant but it was still pretty week. I thought that the drink prices were great. $3 for glass of house wine. And of course they had a great selection of beer. The restaurant was very slow but the service was great. The decor is very nice. Restaurant clean. I really wanted to like the place since a good, locally owned restaurant in this area is need but I just didn't like the food. Yes, it was a lot of fried food but that doesn't mean it has to be wet with grease. If you like evening entertainment/bar atmosphere you should check it out but I won't go back for the food. Too bad!

A decent Irish restaurant, but nothing I would travel far to go to. A good selection of food. I had the chicken curry and it was very tasty!! It was so dead there though, so I didn't enjoy the atmosphere much. A-ok is a pretty good way to sum it up.

I've been meaning to check this place out for awhile now...Finally popped in recently...Devenney's is a decent pub...Though I wasn't blown away by it. The decor is nice (typical pub-like setup). The menu is full of traditional Irish fare. I tried the 1/2 order of fish & chips...which was just OK...and slightly overpriced for a 1/2 order. My girlfriend was pleased with her meal...chicken curry. The service was OK...but again, not blown away by it... I really want to like this place...And will probably give it another shot down the road. Perhaps I went on an off-night for them. They had ads for karaoke nights and poker tournaments. Both are tempting enough to persuade me to try again.

This is a brand new pub, but it is real. The food is high quality, and the staff friendly. There are a large selection of beers, from Ireland, and the UK. It is only a couple of miles to Disney World, and the large strip on route 192. So if you need a break from the crowd, this is it.
