Okay so I don't know how to rate this place. The owners were very friendly, but seemed somewhat unkempt. And it was sort of hard to tell if the location was just very old and run down (not a bad thing) or if the place was just dirty. I was told this place had excellent pizza, and mentioned that to the owner. He actually gave me a free slice while I waited for my pie so that I could try it and let him know what I thought. Very cool in my book. I ordered the white pizza, and took it home to enjoy. I have to say it was a really good pizza, one of my favorites. But how do I say this in a none offending way? It gave me digestive issues for a day and a half. So this why I'm torn as to how to rate this place. The pizza was bangin', but... Maybe it wasn't the pizza, and it was just me, completely unrelated. I am going to try it again to see if it was a fluke. But if there's any other "situations" next time, I'll be changing to 1 star.

The sauce and cheese in itself is so delicious , I don't even order other toppings. Desserts are great too. I agree with other reviews that the owners add to the charm of this place. The only bad thing is they are closed on Sundays and Mondays the two days usually when I would normally order a pizza.

I'm a pizza fanatic and looking for the best pie in the area, so i try as many places as i can. I hate doing this because the owner is so nice, but their pizza is just not good. My friend and I agreed it was a 5 out of 10 and another said "it's not too bad". I ordered a margarita pie and the owner said we don't have fresh Mozzarella(not sure what that means exactly)... I asked for it extra crispy because I hate soggy pies. When I picked up a slice the cheese just slid off and the middle of the pie was soggy. The crust was bland and stale, and the mozzarella just didn't look or taste right. (I took a few pics to show). The 16" pie was $13.90. Not sure how anyone could have possibly given this 5 stars. It's not remotely close to 4 stars. Honestly, I still feel Cafe Milano on Ft. Harrison has the best Italian pie period. Pros: Friendly owner Cons: Soggy pizza Old/stale dough Few tables to eat at and no a/c so take out is best option. Not sure they are interested in making great pies. So to date I rank 1. Cafe Milano - Clearwater 2. Paci's -South Tampa 3. Anthony's coal fire - yeah franchise but its goood

Ahhhh, how I love Royal Pizza. Me and my boyfriend go there all the time, such a good, fresh pizza, even good cold. It is owned by a very nice Austrian couple, funny folks. Their place is small, not great for dining in with more than 3 people... But they do deliver! Can't go wrong with Royal. It's sooo good. They're doing something right.

Without a doubt the absolute BEST pizza I Tampa Bay! I want to try other items but can't get past their pizza. We've had their Friday special, lg pizza, wings & garlic knots. Wings are a little small, but very tasty. I think the bleu cheese is home made, very good! Garlic knots are very tasty. Chicken Parm sub is REALLY good too. Had their "special" pizza, fresh green pepper, not out of a can, great tasting pepperoni, sausage & all FRESH ingredients. They use the BEST cheese, pizza sauce is delicious, fresh made dough & cooked perfectly. Small little mom & pop type place. Hans, the delivery guy has a great sense of humor. Very nice people.
