Consistency, consistency, consistency. Go to fast food for me. I know it is fresh, i know it is healthy and i know it is quick. All very important to me. Burrito bowl, light brown rice, extra veggies, chicken, mild and medium salsa, sour cream, cheese and lettuce. That is my go to bowl. Love it! You know its good when there is a line to the door everyday at lunch. They could do a better job cleaning tables when people leave. I know its busy so they should just have one person dedicated to cleaning the dining area. It would have changed my review to 5 stars!!

First time eating here this past weekend. I was disappointed by the service after hearing so many ppl talking about this place. 1. Food Taste Great 2. Service was horrible. Had to repeat myself 3 times to get my order right. Stood there for at least almost a min until I got acknowledged. 3. Seats were uncomfortable. Felt more like a HighSchool cafeteria than a restaurant. 4. Drink options were minimal. Did want soda so I just had water. My advice don't eat-in, take-out is the best option. I would order it before getting there as well. So they can have it written down and hopefully not get it wrong.

Consistently the best fast food I eat. Love the steak bowl. Healthy, but watch the calories. Build your own meal and enjoy!

Love the chicken burrito! Popped in for quick take out around noon, and the line was to the door and the dining room was packed! Food here MUST be good. Love!

How have i NOT written a review of my Go-TO Chipotle at Gulf-to-Bay Ave. At first i tried ( more than once) to go to the chipotle near Countryside Mall (go see my review on this place if you'd like) but after (a few) bad experiences i rather keep it safe and come to this tried and true Chipotle. This Chipotle tends to be a little busy in the afternoon but they usually get the line moving pretty fast. They are clean and have good and fast service. Would i return here? Of course... I come here once a week.

Came here about 9:30 pm and there was a little line. It was perfect timing because right after at least 20 people came right after us. They were a little slow at first but as soon as a couple workers came out to help it went by quickly. Ordered the carnitas burrito with cilantro lime rice, pinto beans, salsa, lettuce, cheese, and guacamole and it was delicious as usual. I will definitely come here again when visiting.

The place is clean, service is fast and efficient, food is all right. Chipotle is nowhere near authentic, but it's decently priced and you get a pretty good amount of food. I came with my friend today, I ordered a chicken burrito and she ordered a vegetarian bowl. The girl who made my food barely gave me any chicken at all and put way too much rice. The rice was hard as well. The girl wasn't really personable at all, but she got her job done (though she could have been a little nicer). Anyway, I won't complain about that. The person at the register was nice. I gave this place three stars because I'm just not too into Chipotle. I think there are much better places to grab lunch.

We really like Chipotles. We had the tacos for the first time recently. Though you pay the same price for three small tacos as you would for the salad or bowls or large burrito, for a later evening bite, it is perfect. Fresh, flavorful (a little messy) soo good! It can be loud, but we ate inside, it was after eight, and it was quiet enough to talk. Yay! Good food, every time!

This chipotle experience was awful. Rice wasn't cooked all the way. My burrito wasn't wrapped well and had a tear. They wait staff was slow and preoccupied with friends who had come in. Ill never come back to this location.

It is my opinion that Chipotle has the best Tex-Mex fast food there is. I really like it because you can eat there every single day and you will loose weight (depends on what you order). I get the barbacoa. But really all the meats are delicious.

After having my first visit to a Chipotle in L.A. while visiting family, I was anxious to try this local store to see how it compared to the fresh flavors I found in first experience out west and subsequent visits to other stores around the country. Not too much to say about the interior of this location, as like most fast food places, they stick to the formula, and it's pleasant. Order taking was very prompt, and the food prep/delivery was lightning fast in spite of the fairly busy crowd. I've tried several different dishes, but my favorite burrito is the barbacoa, which is braised and shredded beef shoulder flavored with fresh garlic, chipotle chili adobo, toasted cumin, fresh oregano, and S&P. The food was good, but not as flavorful as what I found in L.A. Still fresher and better than most any fast food place, though, so a good alternative when you want a quick meal. After followup visits to several Chipotle's in different cities around the country, I can't help comparing it to the ~10 Qdoba's I've eaten at from FL to NC and the midwest. The formula is obviously the same, but I've found I prefer Qdoba's flavors. I know Chipotle's commitment to organic and local ingredients, and their preference for meats raised without antibiotics or hormones. So I always anticipate Chipotle should wow me with significantly better flavors, but inevitably, I still end up tilting to Qdoba for my preference. The only thing I can attribute that preference to would be the seasonings they use, both which kind and freshness. Add in that Qdoba has queso, and it's always been Qdoba for the win. I'd still choose a Chipotle in a side-by-side choice with any burger joint, so they definitely succeed in that regard.

This review is actually for the brand new Chipotle near the Countryside Mall in the parking lot of the new "Dick's sporting goods." I have been a fan for quite some time. Fresh ingredients, nice selection of foods, and fast service, make this a good lunchtime stop. I think they've raised their prices in recent memory, so my visits will be limited because of that. All in all, I like the place and will be back

Your typical Chipotle! Clean, good food and good service - always consistent.

Chipotle is always a great lunch option and this was the first time that I tried this location. The staff was very nice and were moving quick to get you in and out in a reasonable amount of time. The chicken burrito was good as usual and I brought a co-worker with me who had never been to a Chipotle before...which I thought was crazy. He really enjoyed his meal and we will definitely be back again. Keep up the good work.

Extremely disappointing this time. There was so much gristle in the beef burrito, I could not eat it. It takes me 45 minutes to get to Chipotle and I make a special trip weekly (used to be monthly.) the 1 star is for cleanliness and the guacamole is great. I will return though and reevaluate to see if this was just a fluke. I hope management is not trying to cut corners on quality. I would rather pay a little more and have the gristle trimmed.

An ok Burrito shop, it's not CA or TX but it'll do if your in a pinch for a big burrito. I go there time to time, but I still miss CA's burrito madness. It's a solid 3 stars by me, locals that have not lived close to the the border would prolly give it higher.

Love chipotle!!! I always get the burrito bowl with the black beans and rice. Top it off with some spicy barbacoa. Add some mild, medium and corn salsa. With a little dab of sour cream, guacamole and some lettuce! Yet another place where I leave totally stuffed!

This location is not particularly special compared to any of the other locations. But as an overall review of Chipotle, the burritos are solid but not great. Chipotle is certainly the biggest driving force behind the whole casual tex-mex trend in recent years, and they are really great at it. The tried-and-true formula works, however, I find the whole thing a little less innovative then it seemed a few years ago. Personally, I prefer the wider menus and more interesting personalities of Tijuana Flats or Burrito Boarder. Lastly, who still makes you pay for at least a handful of chips? Most places at least give you a small side of them for free, but at Chipotle you are going to have to fork over some cash for a bag. But, some days a good barbacoa burrito with all the fixin's from Chipotle is truly sublime.

Love this one and all their other locations. Great food, decent prices, and there online and now iPhone ordering abilities it's my favorite lunch spot.

I used to love this place, but I feel the quality has come way down lately. It used to be much better than Moe's, but now it on par with Moe's

I am always very happy with Chipotle. Smiling staff, large portions, and DELICIOUS food. Decorated with the average Chipotle decor, and the same un-comfortable chairs. Will be back if I'm in the area though!

I'm working in Clearwater for the past several weeks. Chipotle is my go-to place for good food fast. This has got to be the worst location ever. I can't figure if there are too many people working the food line or if it's mostly new employees. Either way the line is slow. I've been to this location 6 times already because it's just so close to the hotel. My suggestion is that maybe management go into another chipotle to see how it's done. There is no reason why the line should be so slow and the orders mixed up. Or maybe this is just the chipotle training area.

My husband and I would never normally wait in a long line (almost to the door) for food. We were famished and had limited options getting into town late on a Friday night. Chipotle seemed like a quick, easy option. Yeah right. Apparently this is where all the kids hang out on a Friday night ! It was packed. The line was long but I will say that the employees seemed to work quickly to move the line along. There were a few hiccups like the fact that they were out of carnitas so some customers in line had to quickly pick another protein option. I ordered a burrito bowl with chicken to go. We had planned to dine in but most of the tables that were available were not wiped down. And it was too chilly to eat outside. We were happy with the quality of our meals but not the long wait time and dirty tables. This location may need to look into scheduling more employees on weekends!

I have been here twice and both of my experiences have been good. I won't lie that the line is a little long, whether I come at lunch time (which is normal for any restuarant) or if I come at 3pm in the afternoon (not a common eating time, I would assume). So I would recommend to NOT come here if you are in a rush...definitely not recommended. The staff though is REALLY nice and they serve great portions (if you're watching what you eat though...maybe just eat half of whatever you have and save the rest for later-because they serve BIG). I got the steak burrito and it was delicious. One of the servers suggested I try a new beef they added but I wasn't ready to put it in my burrito just yet, so he let me try it in a cup. He said he loved it and he was right. It was delicious! I appreciated that he offered that to me. Once they finish your meal, the ringing up is fast. I saw a lot of people studying, hanging with friends, and some just eating alone. There is outdoor seating and everyone was really comfortable inside. I recommend this place and will definitely be returning! Also, the parking is really limited so be mindful of that. :)

Normally awesome. This visit no so much. First, restroom was disgusting. And then got stuck behind a large online order. There has to be a better way to process the online crowd.

  • Gabriella D.

Been here several times, the food is good. They really need to work on some strategies to get the line moving faster. Came here today and left because if I wanted a long wait I would have went to a restaurant and not a fast food spot.

  • Allison H.

The staff changed. I am hoping their food is better. Today's experience was pretty good. In the past I had burnt meat, wilted veggies and scrapes of whatever they clean off the grill. I guess management finally cracked down on the past staff.

This review is really for Chipotle in general. I'm a huge fan of Chipotle and their business model. Unlike their "fast-food" counterparts, instead of investing a ton on advertising they actually invest in the ingredients... giving you an amazing quality food for an affordable price. This seems like a no-brainer but it's surprising that it took so long for a fast food company to actually do this. I do have to admit that the lines get kind of long in this location during lunch time but I still always go because the food is unbelievable.

  • Maegan G.

I normally have a difficult time at fast food places because I am not really eating carbs right now, but I got the burrito bowl (sans rice, beans, etc...) with double meat and it was awesome! A little expensive ($9), but it was definitely good. I will definitely be back for lunch! Plus, I ordered online, so I just walked up the cash register, my food was ready, I paid and walked out. At lunch time this was a blessing because there were about 10 people in line with more coming in the door!

  • Christopher H.

Let's be clear about this: Is it authentic? No. Is it as healthy as they claim? Well, depending on how you build things, yes. Is it delicious? Yes. Is it high quality food for a very good price? Yes. Chipotle be good food.

This is my go to lunch place. I submit my order through their app on my phone. I walk across the parking lot from work, walk to the front of the line, and pick it up. Simple. I like simple. Their food is great. I usually order the chicken fajitas. They are huge and very filling. I eat here at least once a week.

  • Amber W.

The quality of chipotle is great. The food is great, and it always is really tasty, but it's the workers that bother me. There is one guy there who is blonde and normally on cash register and he is great, seems to be in a hustle and always is professional. But the girls make me uncomfortable. When I went in today, the girl stopped right in the middle of working on my food with a really big line behind me to gossip with this other girl who came in. Not to mention this girl was wearing shorts so short you could see her butt cheeks. I stood there for a few minutes as they gabbed and finally she turned back around and finished up. It was just a little rude. Don't really wanna deal with them there anymore, so I will probably just be getting Moes from now on.

  • Kulvinder B.

Went there after 9 PM last night, was not the usual good chipotle experience. The new tofu dish was dried out and very chewy. The service staff were frustrated from another customer and we're just trying to finish the day out. The dishes were finishing. I asked for some extra rice and the server barely gave me a teaspoon more. This was less than the usual portion of everything. I would pick another location or try out another time to completely down star this place. It is one of the few vegetarian options.

  • Jordan K.

SLOWEST CHIPOTLE EVER! Line out the door and 15 open tables. Can't comment on the food quite yet since I'm still in line, but it better be amazing. The workers appear confused - I wouldn't be surprised if this is their first time in a Chipotle. Oh, and the bathroom was a wreck (someone held my spot in line). Did I mention I haven't ordered yet?!?! SLOWEST CHIPOTLE EVER!!!

  • Rick E.

Fast friendly service on a Friday night. The food is very tasty and prepared your way. It is some what pricey for fast food and the dinning area is loud and noisy like a cafeteria.

  • Dena P.

I'm addicted to this place! If I can have it I'm going to eat it! This is the one place I often find myself getting food at instead of McDonalds or Wendys and such. They serve up super fresh food super fast. If you know what you want you're in and out. This place can get pretty pack during their lunch and dinner hours but it's just soo good. Everything is seasoned perfectly and if any mistaken is made they will fix it up in a jiffy. If you haven't had chipotle it's a place to go to. Tons of location makes it easier for people to enjoy chipotle.

    (5)
  • Coia W.

This chipotle makes the skimpiest bowls and burritos ever! I've been to plenty of chipotles even the original in Colorado and I've never had a bowl loaded with everything including guacamole and the guacamole still doesn't touch the tin lid. What a shame I probably won't be back here

    (1)
  • Brad R.

Edit...I've been back since and it seems yheyve righted the ship......This and all other Chipotle restaurants are going downhill fast. Horrible service and shrinking portions will be the downfall of what was once a decent lunch chain.

    (3)
  • Don D.

This place is really going downhill. The last 5 times I've been here the line is shorter and shorter and the wait is longer and longer. Today they seem to be preparing a catering order, and 90% of the staff is focused on the 50 item order, leaving one person to tend to the line of customers that have been standing in line for 15+ minutes. They also seem to have an aversion to serving any item at all, if the container is less than 75% full. They clearly had at least 10 scoops of chicken left, yet the server refused to use any of it until an entirely new container arrived. I used to love this place, and like this location, but 5 times in a row of poor customer service is 4 times too many.

    (2)
  • Jennifer R.

oooeeem geee... talk about service and speed. this place is terrible. yes their food is good, but during lunch hours their line is out the door, staff doesnt aknowledge you when you talk to them, they dont care about the customers because they re so darn busy. you can order ahead but then you have to deal with the cashier and the res of the ppl that are in line to pay is a pain.

    (1)
  • Chad U.

Food quality and taste is consistent to other Chipotle's. So, the three stars is more of a rating of this location. The store isn't usually the cleanest I've been in and parking can be a problem. You're probably best in the lot behind the store (as opposed to the lot in the front). It's also pretty difficult to get to this store if you're traveling East on Gulf to Bay. You'll have to make a UTurn to get there. Service could be worst but isn't the friendliest. Just an average Chipotle, which is still pretty good in my book!

    (3)
  • Lou M.

I would eat here every day if I could. The cilantro-lime rice really makes the meal. I usually get the steak burrito with mild salsa, cheese, sour cream, and the rice. Smoked chipotle Tabasco to top it off. Great value for the amount they give you.

    (4)
  • Nat W.

I saw all the raves on Yelp and had to go out and try this place. The staffs are friendly, helpful and fast. They do not skimp on meat :) I wish they keep the meat, rice and beans hotter tho. Nearly $2 for guacamole is kind of a pricey upgrade. The taste was alright, nothing amazing. But just like other burrito's place, you will get very full. It was $18 for 2 entrees and 2 drinks. I thought it was a little expesive for a fast food place. I guess I was expecting more since I saw others' reviews on this place. Do not get me wrong this place is not bad at all for a chain fast food restaurant...I give it a 3 star because there is nothing special about it.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
