Went on a Saturday for the buffet. The food was very good. They have plenty of people plowing through all the different options, so nothing was sitting-out getting old and nasty. The korma and tikka masala were both very tasty and they had plenty of vege options. The service was so-so, but it was a buffet, so my expectations were low. I will definitely return.

This place is perfect if you want tasty authentic Indian food, but it's not somewhere you should go if you're expecting a fine dining experience. The restaurant is family owned and it seems as though the front of the restaurant is ran by the daughters. The restaurant itself is kind of small so I can imagine it to take long for a table around peak hours. The food itself is very tasty. It's great for vegetarians too. The only downfall is that it takes at least 45 minutes for the food to arrive so it's probably not a great place if you're really hungry.

Great Indian food being produced here by a hardworking family. I can't say I recommend dining in over taking out due to the wait times, unorganized table service, and kitchen noise, but this place just has tasty indian food. They work hard and I have faith the dining experience will improve. I will keep enjoying takeout on a regular basis and can say with confidence you will enjoy this establishment much more than Taste of India across the street.

The place is nice and small. The food great. Starting with the complimentary chips to their Chinese appetizers and finally the main course . All in all best place for indian food in Tampa.

LOVE THIS RESTAURANT! Everyone is so nice and their food is delicious. They will go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied with your food. Try the coconut fish curry its so spicy, buttery and full of flavor. The white fish melts in your mouth!! The Garlic naan is amazing. This is our favorite Indian restaurant to go to in Brandon.

Great food! We dined here at this little place tucked away in a shopping center with some friends who frequent this establishment. I am so glad they invited us to dinner! This place is awesome!! Our friends took the lead and ordered so many different things to share I can't even remember what I ate (only the goat vindaloo which was amazing) but I do remember there was not one thing I didn't enjoy. Every dish was perfectly seasoned and so full of flavor....and the naan....the naan was out of this world. The only bummer is that they don't serve alcohol. I would have loved a nice glass of wine to go with all the yummy food I was stuffing in my face hole. Oh well...that won't stop us from coming back to try more dishes!

My family and I checked this place out yesterday and all I can say is YUM! The chips while you're waiting are like "crack"...you just can't stop eating them or the sauces they come with. It will definitely be our go to place when the mood for Indian strikes!

In a world full of well capitalized corporate restaurants with fancy buildings, but so-so food, Tandoor stands out as being very "food focused". Yes, it's a family affair, but it's obviously a family that cares. I had Chicken Tikka Masala with Garlic Naan that was deliciously creamy and full of fragrant Indian spices without being over powered (I ordered it medium hot). My companion took a walk on the wild side and ordered a goat dish, and was equally pleased. I've seen some comments about long wait times, but that wasn't our experience. Yes, the dining room is smallish, but that didn't deminish the experience.

We love this place. Our favorite Indian restaurant in Tampa and my husband is super particular when it comes to his Indian food. This is a family owned restaurant. We love the beef cutlets, fish curry, beef curry, South Indian yucca, rassam, chicken tikka masala, sag paneer and samosas. Everything is very fresh and extremely authentic.

I have been to taste of India a couple of times, but this Indian place blows them away. Great service and very reasonable prices. There naan is top notch, yes there is a differnce. I would give 5 stars but there is always room for improvement.

I actually really enjoyed the food here. We ordered a feast and still had plenty of food afterwards. The reason for the low stars is that I got pretty sick afterwards. I really wasn't sure at first if it was the food but I felt a little better the night after and finished up the leftovers. Sure enough, it was a pretty bad decision and I got sick again. It actually felt flu like: I had a headache, stomach ache, muscle soreness and general naseau. We ordered the aloo gobhi masala ($8), balti baingan ($8), navarathan korma ($8), uttapam ($5), and garlic naan ($2). It was incredibly reasonable for the amount of food we got. Jasmine rice came with each entree. The service was quick and friendly. It was pretty empty when we got there and up until I got sick, I was surprised why it was. The food itself tasted very good and if I didn't get so messed up, it'd be a 5 star restaurant.

Mango Lasse and Tikka Masala was excellent. Tomato Rasam and other soups were very good. There was no wait. I had a great experience. C and I went back yesterday and were disappointed. I have lowered my review to a 3-star because I they definitely let us down. I am hoping they just had a bad night. We will be back to give it another try....AFTER we go back to Taste of India and finalize our decision on our preferred Indian in Brandon.....Stay tuned :)

Small, family run restaurant. I have been to this place few times and food is consistently good. The service is good.

i really should be studying instead of updating my yelp... anyhow, i came here to grab dinner to-go. i asked what was recommended and was told their chicken tikka masala was a popular item. so i ordered it, expecting my world to rock. it did not happen. the rice did not taste like normal basmati rice to me. and then the curry tasted differently. normally i can taste the tomato-ness of the chicken tikka masala, but this time i tasted more cardamom and cream (maybe some coconut?). i did not love it. if this is one of their popular dishes, then i don't think this place is for me.

My favorite restaurant in Brandon. My favorites here are the Butter Chicken, Nan and the Dal. Just awesome.

My biggest complaint about this restaurant is their silly hours. My boyfriend doesn't get out of work until after eight and they close at nine. We've done take out a few times and the food is delicious, the employees are friendly enough and we've never finished and not wanted to come back. It's okay for what Brandon has to offer.
