I haven't been to one of these since back in ATL! Was excited to return to one and throw my peanut shells on the floor! SO FUN! The group I was with wasn't so excited about the place because there were some serving/food errors. But my food turned out just fine and I thought the service was nice, at least - especially with how busy they were... I had the ribs and chicken combo. My salad looked crisp and fresh, I ate all my ribs and just couldn't stuff the chicken in me, so I took it home. It was pretty good, the next day for lunch! I'd go back.

Great food, great service, but the adult beverages were pricey. A gin and tonic and draft beer over $9.00? Happy hour would have been nice.

Where to begin? Service: Our waitress was incredibly nice. She was energetic and knew her stuff. The issue I had with her was that she would ask us if we wanted certain things on our appetizers and entrees, and if we said yes she wouldn't tell us it was extra or how much extra it would be. That's a killer. We obviously know it is extra but the amounts being added on were a tad ridiculous (anywhere from .50 - $6.99). She recommended a special Cherry Sprite she makes herself and charged an extra .50-$1.00 (can't remember exactly how much) without us knowing. Food: The food was pretty darn good. For an appetizer we ordered cheese fries with extra cheese and bacon (is there any other way to order it?). They were amazing! For entrees we ordered two 8oz sirloins medium-well. They were cooked perfectly. The sides were decent. The mashed potatoes were average, but the green beans were rather gross. They were soggy and the bacon they add in mixed with the water from the green beans made it taste pretty bad. All things considered, we would certainly come back here again. The atmosphere is rather loud but not overbearing. It's worth a stop if you've never been here before!

Lets get right to the meat and potatoes here. This place is pretty good for the price point. This was one of the first chain restaurants to open on the Lakewood Ranch side of I-75 on SR 70. Very easy to get to and a big parking lot. The place gets wicked busy, so you def want to call ahead. The food is good. It's pretty consistent. I've been a few times when they screwed something up or cooked it incorrectly, but to be honest, I don't know how they keep up with the volume they do. When there were mistakes, they quickly corrected it each time. I'm never looking for a free meal...just what I actually ordered. I recently acquired a taste for spicy food and the rattlesnake bites are quite yummy. They are just breaded cheese with jalapeños and deep fried, but that's 3 awesome things together. The sirloin steak is a good value....just don't get it over cooked or it will turn to leather. If you like your meat well done, then spring for the filet mignon to keep it tender. The bar is a bit on the disappointing aside from beer. You can't win them all, so I just stick to the draft or don't bother with a cocktail. Tuesday night is great for families cause kids eat 1 penny per inch tall. Do the math. Kid is 40" tall and you're paying $0.40. Kinda hard to go wrong there. We go every once in a while. Menchies is right across the parking lot too! We'll go back....

Awful, awful, awful. The steaks were ridiculously salty. Their margarita was unimpressive at best. The wine selection is abysmal. And the place is extremely noisy. This was one of the worst dining experiences I have had in years!

One of the best chains out there. They have some amazing ribs and steaks. Cooked perfectly, tender, flavorful... Cheese fries with bacon and ranch dressing are a must for every visit. What I can't get over is the service, too. Where do they find these super happy, helpful people?? They even look happy singing the silly song during the night. Half our order got lost in the mix some how, but they were quick to make it and delivery as quickly as possible. Just make sure you call ahead or you will be waiting up to over an hour on busy nights. The restaurant is dark, casual, peanut shells on the floor kinda place. Come hungry and wear elastic waistband.

This is one of our favorite places! The atmosphere is great and we have never had bad service or food. Its great for our loud children! They always have fun with the music and line dancing the servers do. We LOVE the friend pickles. They are perfectly crispy and delicious! My favorite is the prime rib and my husband is very fond of the country fried steak. The ceaser salad dressing is to die for and the bread is always fresh!!! The wait is usually long but u can call ahead!! I highly recommend them!

Over seasoned and overpriced very unhealthy this place reminds me of something that would have been popular in the early 90s however today I can't fathom how they stay in business. With that said the place is always packed so somebody likes over-seasoned and over salty, low-quality food.

Received a coupon so we decided to go back and give it another try. We were pleasantly surprised this time. My daughter ordered a steak and it was done just right. The ribs and chicken were excellent. Texas Roadhouse has redeemed themselves. We will go back.

Bad excuse for restaurant. We were headed to a different restaurant today, the waiting line was out side. So we turned the corner and saw Texas Roadhouse .... No line , parking lot less than 1/4 full, in we go. No waiting, set down and had fresh rolls ( best part of meal ). Server took order, food out 45 minutes latter, pulled pork was dry, beef kabobs at room temp, and my burger was dried out. After waiting so long we ate what we could and learned a good lesson. No lines, lots of parking at busy time ... Keep driving. :(

Consistently fabulous! Great food and great prices! This is our "go to" place for daytime beers and delicious meals. Damn those rolls! For those that are on a carb free diet, don't even dare lie to your self and say you'll just have one - it is not possible!!!

What a great place we showed up at 955 and they were nice enough to let us in. Rough day at work but looking forward to some great food

My wife and I consider this one of the best steak restaurants for the price. The steaks have always been tender and flavorful. We thought the waitress was genial and helpful. It's also a plus that they make their own toasty warm rolls on the premises. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Love TR! Always awesome food and nice staff. Steaks are cooked to perfection! Couldn't do it any better myself. The rolls are to die for!

A regrettable experience. We arrived at about 6:30pm on a Tuesday evening and the place was packed, usually a good sign. We had a short 15 minute wait and we were seated in a booth as we requested. Bread and butter was made immediately available and I enjoyed the taste of the cinnamon butter although, I decided to save it for dessert. My wife ordered the 12oz ribeye and I had the 16oz ribeye. Both steaks arrived cooked exactly as we requested. Unfortunately, they were salted beyond comprehension and that is saying a lot coming from someone who loves salt. If I didn't have high blood pressure before the meal, it is nearly guaranteed I have it now. The sides were good and our server was charming. The atmosphere is noisy but, family friendly. Pricing is high for the quality of food served. Wine is a bad joke. There are better choices for the money. This is a step up from a local bbq joint but not by much.

By far the best steak place around! Started with fried pickles with horseradish dipping sauce and they were fantastic. No grease, very crispy, nice dill flavor. We both ordered the 8oz Dallas Filet. I had double green beans for my sides and my husband had the loaded baked potato and green beans. Just the way we like them - bacon, onions and salty! Our steaks were cooked to perfection and just love the Texas Roadhouse steak sauce. We tried Codys Roadhouse a few weeks ago and OMG, no comparison! Definitely gets busy around 6 so go before then or use call ahead. Our server was KC and she was exceptional. Heads up for peanut allergies, they have peanuts on all the tables. Their steak is so much better than Outback - we will never go back to Outback! 5 STARS FOR SERVICE, QUALITY, FLAVOR AND ATMOSPHERE!

I went here about a week ago, and I thought it was gonna be good, but I was disappointed. Other than the thirst quenching cold beer, everything else was just blah. The steaks were chewy (low quality meat), the salad was decent and the bread was cold. The service was slow. I'm a big fan of roadhouses but this one just didn't do it for me. I get better quality and a bigger bang for my buck at a place like Cody's on cortez which is consistently good. I might give this place another try, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Delicious ribs at a very reasonable price. The barbecued chicken breast sandwich was moist and very tasty. Have had good steaks here as well. Service is friendly and efficient. Excellent rolls with maple butter. Call ahead seating. A little noisy.

Our visit started out as expected we would have to wait to get seated and we were expecting that so no big deal. After waiting for almost 40 minutes we get buzzed to get seated, we go in and the girl tells us we would have to wait for another 40 minutes "or so" unless we wanted them to place a chair at the end of a booth for us, I was not a happy camper. I had requested a table because I don't like booth seating at all and they only have four tables in the whole place. the girl knows that I was not happy but we decided to wait anyways, we had waited all that time already and were in no rush. We finally got seated with the basket of rolls that they bring with them as they seat you. They were hot and delicious. They come with a cinnamon honey butter that has just the right amount of sweetness but doesn't over power. Our server, Julianna, came promptly to our table and took our drink order. She came right back and asked if we would like order appetizers and we decided not to on this trip we just went ahead and ordered our meals. I ordered the ribeye and grilled shrimp combo with sweet potato and a house salad as my sides. The house salad came out before my meal which was good. It was a standard salad with iceberg lettuce, shredded cheese, egg crumbles, croutons and dressing. It was fresh and cold. The ribeye was amazing. It was extremely tender and cooked perfectly to medium with just the right amount of char on the outside. The grilled shrimp were just as incredible. They were wonderfully flavored with a garlic butter sauce and grilled to perfection. I would highly recommend them! My other side was a baked sweet potato. It was fairly standard fare with butter and cinnamon sugar added. My husband got the 12oz prime rib that he said was outstanding. For his sides he got steak cut french fries and corn both of which he said were just as good as his prime rib. We also got a to-go order for my daughter of a bacon cheeseburger with fries. With this they also sent home an order of their rolls at no extra charge. After our fiasco with the seating I was pleasantly surprised by our service. Julianna was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. She was fast and very friendly. If she wasn't as good as she was I don't know if I would want to go back. You could see all of the servers were hustling right along with the bussers. All in all it was a great experience and I would definitely go back. I would strongly suggest that you use their call ahead seating option. They don't take reservations but you can call ahead and they will put your name on the list so that it can help cut your waiting time down somewhat once you get there. There is little seating inside to wait so expect to be seated outside waiting which is fine except during rainy season or when the Florida sun is out. And once seated inside expect the noise level to be extremely loud. It wasn't bad at first but as we were sitting there the level increased to a point where I couldn't hear my husband unless he was yelling across the table at me.

We went here for the first time on a Friday around 6pm. They said it would be a 30min wait but it was actually only about 10min even though the place was packed. The drinks were strong. The service was fantastic. The food was excellent. (Loved the warm bread/butter that was received immediately upon being seated) There was a mishap with another customer getting ill (gross). Needless to say, I completely loss my appetite. Joe was gratuitous enough to comp our meal and drinks. THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE. Will definitely be back.

I ordered an All-American cheeseburger which tasted really good. It was so huge I had a cut it in half and take some of it home. The french fries were pretty standard. The atmosphere was fun. Our waitress was really nice and checked on us often. The only complaint that I have is that my sons sandwich was so big he could barely wrap his mouth around it, it was really messy and it fell apart easy. My suggestion for dealing with that is use a knife and fork for your bigger burgers. My son is 18 so it's not like he's a little kid. He could only eat about a quarter of his Burger because it was so sloppy. Not really sure if that qualifies as a complaint because some people like that, he did not. I have no complaints on my burger. Just be aware that the hamburgers and cheeseburgers are very pink in the middle. Mine was almost rare and some parts of the burger. I have no problem with that though.

All I think of here is Sysco/US foods processed cheap as it gets food. Nothing actually homemade as near as I could tell. All just heated and served. I don't get the positive reviews as I think this place is simply poor quality chain type nearly fast food.

Visited here a couple times and every time been an extremely, extremely long wait. Better be easily amused sitting around for a table. Service was good, steaks were really good but not what we'd consider great. We don't assume big crowds mean great food. Nice to have free peanuts, like that available. If you don't like loud and busy, you won't like this, but it is your basic meat and potatoes place... which I don't mind at all. Know what your in for and you'll enjoy it, but be prepared to wait with the crowd.

The food was great. The service could have been better. I had to ask for napkins with my full order of ribs ( ide think that would be standard to deliver with bbq) every one has an off day. The location is great. Wife had a steak cooked perfect and ribs came out great. Some of the staff were great while others had "no heart or smile". We will try it again though.

First time we ate early 6 pm it was good. Chicken was tender and moist, service was good. Last night was very noisy 8:30. Chicken was dry, sweet potato was burnt mush, mixed veggies crunchy. The waiter, Matt constantly got items wrong and forgot items. Too many errors, noisy, lack of caring.

No complaints here. 2 glasses of Chardonnay with fresh rolls with honey cinnamon butter, followed by catfish, fresh veggies, and steak potatoes. I'm full. Goodbye.

Put on your cowboy boots and cowboy hats Manatee County, and get your butts over to Texas Roadhouse! My husband and I were anxiously awaiting the opening of this restaurant, as we are big steak eaters and were getting a bit tired of eating at our usual go-to chain with an Australian theme ;-) We knew the wait would be insane, but fortunately Texas Roadhouse offers a call-ahead service which we utilized, so by the time we arrived on a Saturday night, we only had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. Nice! The hostess stand was busy but seemed to run efficiently. At the same time we were brought to our table, a basket of those tasty rolls with their delicious cinnamon butter arrived too. Gotta love a restaurant that seats you and the bread basket at the same time! My husband and I both decided to indulge in Texas Roadhouse's legendary margaritas, and of course we added a floater of Patron to both of them. The margarita was legit, and I will definitely be ordering one again. My husband ordered the filet dinner with a loaded baked potato and house salad. I went with the sirloin and shrimp combo with a side of mushrooms and a house salad. The salads were so delish. Fresh, cold lettuce, crumbled egg, cheese and homemade croutons and homemade dressing. My husband's filet was perfectly cooked as was my sirloin. The shrimp came over garlic bread and had a buttery dipping sauce on the side...heaven. On top of being delicious, our meals were also very moderately priced. We were very impressed with our meal and loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. I am a big country fan, so the fact that country music was streaming from the jukebox made my meal that much more enjoyable. I also LOVED that the staff would break out in line dances when certain songs were played. I can't imagine they love having to line dance for everyone, but all of the restaurant patrons certainly enjoyed it! So glad Texas Roadhouse has come to Bradenton, we will definitely be dining here frequently.

What an unpleasant experience! The food tasted good but, the timing was the issue. When our server came over to wait on us we had already had time to look at the menu. We ordered our drinks and food at the same time, what a mistake. Our salads came almost immediately. My husband finished his but I had not, because it was delivered when I was in the washroom, and our entrees were delivered. The topper was we still had no drinks, not even water. Just an overall lousy meal. It was a total rush job!

First time here. We almost left because there was so many people eating we thought we would never get in. We took a chance and got right in since it was just the two of us. Service was excellent and very speedy. They had a mothers day special and I ordered the prime rib and my husband rib eye medium well. I did have to send mine back because it was very rare! The rolls were awesome, nice and warm. We weren't crazy about our Cesar salads. For some reason they had no taste at all. Very bland salad dressing. I ordered green beans and they were very tasty. My husband got broccoli and carrots that was under cooked so he didn't eat them. So in the long run we were very happy with the speedy service and atmosphere and enjoyed or steaks.

Take out stinks! Check your order before you leave because they forget little things like SALAD and BREAD!! Also my baked potato was rotten on the inside.... Blah!

The place was packed! We got seated in about 20 minutes, there was abundant staff and everyone was friendly. My husband ordered the ribs and I ordered the rib eye steak. The ribs were awesome, the ribeye however was over cooked and a little too tough. When our waitress stopped by I let her know I wasn't thrilled. I feel like she handled my concern very well and quickly took the steak and brought me the ribs instead. Catherine "Cat" was a great waitress and we appreciated the attention she gave us. The music and the staff line dancing was entertaining.

Came here after a great experience in ohio at one of their places there. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Service was great. Would be 5 stars but steak fries came out soggy and muddy brown in color. Said something to waitress and she took them back and brought out perfect steak fries. This place is a lot better than longhorn. We will be going back next time we are in the area.

Fantastic each and every time. Best food in bradenton and always good service. Great southern food that always tastes fresh and don't get me started about the complimentary bread rolls and cinnamon butter! Even the vegetable sides are absolutely delectable

One of my favorite steak chains. I'd come just for the loaded sweet potato! Giving the place credit for opening week and the crowds, the steaks were good, the service terrific, the server wonderful, and it was all we expect from this chain. My wife had the small filet and it was excellent according to her. I had the small rib eye and it was the same way! We each had the loaded sweet potato and we were not disappointed. If you plan on going during their new opening period expect a wait. Our server said it was a 1.5 hr wait on Monday & Tuesday, and 2 hrs on Wednesday. We arrived right at 5pm and had a 30 minute wait, but it had to be longer than 1 hour when we left - and they were standing in the rain. Let's face it - Bradenton doesn't have an abundance of good steak places - Outback & Cody's is it. And so it's kind of like when you drink coke all the time - every once in a while you want a root beer. Well, Texas Roadhouse will provide that new fresh taste for us - and maybe become our coke!

My friend and I went here last night and the food, the atmosphere, and our waitress was great! I ordered the smothered chicken with a house salad with Honey mustard and a sweet potato with honey cinnamon butter. It was all fantastic! The dinner rolls were excellent also! The atmosphere: the music was a little loud but it was definitely entertaining seeing the girls dance though! Our waitress the entire night was very attentive and so very kind! I will definitely be back!

Good food, service: meh Waitress didn't automatically refill our water glasses, disappeared for much of the meal and wasn't very friendly. I had ribs but they weren't the best I've had. It was very crowded. I recommend going early so you don't have to wait to be seated. I would go again and try something else. Hopefully I'd end up with better service.

Went to dinner tonight for the first time! I wasn't expecting much but I was very surprised! The food was delicious, I had a steak and my mother had a hamburger that looked amazing. They were very busy for a Wednesday night which was a good sign. The service was fast and friendly! I really enjoys the fresh bread with the sweet butter! I will be back!
