Best pizza in Bradenton by far! And the Forget About It Burger is absolutely amazing! Friendly service and always happy to give you a take home container for their generous portions. Great place & I HIGHLY recommend it.

4+ star garlic knots. 2 star tops chicken parm sub. I'd like to go 2.5, because I don't think A-OK covers it, unless you're just going for garlic knots, but I also don't feel 2 stars are fair. So, you get 3. I have 2 go-to places near work for chicken parm subs - Bella Mia on Manatee Ave and Pizza by the Foot in Palmetto. Both of those places have rockin chicken parm subs, with delicious sauce, perfect amount of cheese, and crusty, toasted bread. I decided to come to this place because I was passing it on my way back to work from some lunchtime errands, and it is convenient to work, so I thought to give it a try. As I said, garlic knots are A+. The pizza might be good - I don't know, I didn't try it. But the chx parm sub just wasn't very tasty. It was covered in this cheese - it was like a comforter for the sandwich made of cheese. Someone else may like that, but I like the cheese to be part of the sandwich, not the entire sandwich. And besides, I didn't actually like the cheese that much. Sauce was lacking in flavor and quantity. Again, the cheese drowned the sauce. Bread was good, but the bread at the other places are better. Anyway, I'm glad I tried it, but it's not making it into my rotation.

Our go to pizza place. We usually get the anti pasto which is always fresh and flavorfull, and a large NY style pizza. We can easily take half home. The pizza has a great crust, lots of cheese, and and a really good sauce. Both Angel and Amy are friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is typical pizza parlor with booths and tables and a big take out business. The pizza reminds us of what we used to get back up in New England.

Came in, ordered a cheese pizza and their pasta faggioli. The pizza was great, would come back again. The soup was OK but could've been seasoned better.

Delicious! Was our first visit and we will return. Waitresses was informative, beer ice cold. Chicken parm sub on their homemade bread was great. The fuggetaboutit burger was a combo I've never had before. Prosciutto and fresh mozzarella made for a delicious combo.

We kept it simple and ordered a house salad, the garlic knots, and a pepperoni pizza. Loved the Italian dressing on the salad made with a generous amount of red wine vinegar. The garlic knots were ok, made with fresh garlic, but I prefer them a bit wet and messy and these are prepared dry. The pizza was excellent. Grease still on the pepperoni (a plus for me) and flimsy crust where you need to use 2 hands to keep the cheese from sliding off the tip. Sauce was a little on the sweeter side. I will return.

We won't be back....the waitress was very unfriendly. We ordered a pizza and salad. I asked for blue cheese dressing...they don't carry blue cheese. My husband asked for a beer. They don't serve beer. And it went on from there...anything we asked for the waitress said they didn't have....when it was finally time to leave we asked for a box and the waitress said how about a paper plate? I started laughing so hard and loud the whole place got quiet. I asked her if she was joking and she replied no. So she wrapped our left over pizza on a paper plate and in a paper bag. Needless to say the grease from the pizza leaked through the bag and all over our car....I can't believe how we were treated...NO we will not be back and I told the waitress that on the way out the door.

This is a hole in the wall type of place that is easy to miss if you are driving by. The decor is nothing spectacular and might remind you of your grandma's kitchen depending on how old you are. They are good at what they do and the value is in the food, not the ambiance of the restaurant. The pizza is the only thing I've had at San Remo's and it is fantastic. Crust is perfect, seasoning, cheese, all of it excellent. They have other things on the menu but I always get the pizza (cheese slices also available). 10 times better than any chain place like Domino's or Pappa John's. Support a local business that makes some excellent pizza.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
