After a friend said they had a good experience we went back to give them another try. We were pleasantly surprised!! The service at the bar has been spot on. Attentive, friendly, and consistently good service every time the baked potato skins were terrible. They were very greasy and no flavor. The burger was big and cooked right. The Ruben and BLT were also real good. Glad to see they have improved!

I went to Brandon to visit friends and wanted to charge my phone before I came back north to Clearwater. Looked up a Golden Tee close and Evie's was close. Place was clean, select a high top by the pool tables, nobody approached me, went to bar ordered a Corona Light, receive a lime slice (no a wedge) that was as wide as the opening, oh well don't normally take the wedge. Didn't want to start a tab so I paid. Put money in Golden Tee before I noticed the very fine sand around the trackball. Ordered another beer and started a tab. I was able to finish the Golden Tee game all the while the trackball ground away. Asked for my check and ordered a dragon Berry Lemon Drop Texas style, first bartender don't know how to make it, 2nd one brings a shot glass 1/3 full with white crystals along the rim (ok, no problem) slam it down and oh god the white crystals are salt. Bartender, oh I thought that was sugar. No sorry or can I get you another one, drops my check 2 beers and a shot, hold on I purchase my first beers to get charge for Golden Tee. Bartender has a blank look on his face ...... After explaining he says, oh you're right and adjusts the bill. Good thing this isn't my neighborhood bar. I'd never drink again, wouldn't go back.

I've been here multiple times and I can say the best service I received was while sitting at the bar or getting take out. The new staff they have serving the floor hasn't really been trained. The most recent to me I went with two other people the cook brought us our food and the server didn't come back until someone from our party went up to the bar to get another round of drinks. I could understand if they were busy and our server had a lot of tables but that was not the case, she had two other tables and it was 9:30.

Horrible. Great place to go if you like bland, undercooked, sauceless pizza! We given it several attempts always the same. Not sure why this location can't get it right. The Whitfield location cooks a good pizza.

My wife and I have a really good time here Bar tenders are great! Drinks are fairly priced and the food is good. It's not in a hoppin part of town but with the right group of people this place is perfect.

After my first visit (see previous review) I was hesitant to go back, we did on 2 occasions, it was worse each time. We went again tonight, a party of 14, after a band concert at the school across the street. The service was slow, my husband had to get his own beer after 15 minutes, from the bar. I should have known better than to go again, after my first 3 visits, but it was close by and with the kids, we didnt want to have to wait a long time. We ordered a pizza and 6 wings for myself, my mother and husband, I didnt even ask the kids how their food was, but they appeared to eat it without complaint As you can see in the menu, they state in RED underlined text, that their wings are the LARGEST WING IN THE CITY...now Im not sure if they were talking the City of OZ and that they got their wings from some pigeons posing as chickens, living amongst the wee people, but here in this City....those are certainly NOT the largest wings to be had. In addition, they were cold when they finally came to the table. So the husband asks the waitress to have the manager come by the table, after a few minutes, Dave, comes over, husband shows him the menu, and then shows him the wings, the guy kinda laughed and said nothing. Ben continued...if they were not going to buy LARGE wings to serve the customers, maybe they ought not describe them as such. The manager, Dave, just kinda shrugged and shook his head...then mumbled...I will let them know...and walked away. There was no, Im sorry, let me throw a couple more down in the fryer for ya, nothing. Just a shrug and that was it, where was the smoke he was supposed to blow up my butt? That is what he gets paid for....I wouldnt have cared if he MEANT it, but dang, and I'm sorry would have gone a long way. This was my 4th trip to Evie''s on 53rd, they are now 0-4 with me. They will not get another chance. Heck, even the celery was BIGGER than the wings!

For us the best pizza in town. NYC style. Not the fanciest place in town, but clean and delicious food, priced well. Glad we live nearby and eat thier offerings at least once a week. Sorry one reviewer smelled tar. Never happened to us. Maybe that occurred when they first opened after this place was called "Cherries". Note they usually have daily specials. Good burgers too!

Once again I got the Cuban and I'm always satisfied. Pickles could be sliced a little thinner....but hey that is just my preference.

Evie's is our go to late night bar and eatery. Who needs Applebee's when bradenton has this hidden gem. They have a great late night happy hour on drinks and appetizers. Their chicken fingers spun in buffalo sauce are too die for, and so is their $8 personal pie. Also the bartenders are great, they always ask for your name when you sit and call you by it the whole time. My favorite bar tender is Megan. We have dined before as well and have a great experience with the servers. All in all its a great place to drink, eat, play pool and watch sports.

Great martini menu. Birthday and fruit loop martinis were our favorite. The pizza and salads are great. Try Popeyes pizza. Don't get the hummus or chicken wings. Great place to watch a game. TV's everywhere!!
