This place was ok. I'm from New York so I have attitude about pizza (Don't hate. New Yorkers know their pizza). We ordered a plain cheese pie and a mushroom/pepperoni pie. They are VERY stingy with the toppings. There was probably about ONE slice of pepperoni on each slice of pizza (see pictures). The crust was a little underdone although the sauce had good flavor. Overall the pizza was not bad for non New York pizza.

App: onion rings, mozzarella sticks Nothing exciting here. Fried frozen food. Ok Entree: Large cheese pizza with extra cheese, half pepperoni. Pizza is very good. Best i have tasted in Lewes so far. Service: You order at counter and they bring it to table.

Our first visit here. Food is a 5, overall experience a 4. There is no table service or alcohol, order at a counter and food brought to you, so this is not a gourmet establishment, but the food was dynamite! I had the Friday special, prime rib, for $16. Properly cooked to my order, wonderfully spiced, and served with flavorful fresh grilled veg & garlic mashed pots. The au jus was not from a can and was delicious. We are locals, so will be going back again to try breakfast and lunch.

Stopped here on a whim after a day of shopping and was pleasantly surprised! Staff was very friendly. I ordered a fried chicken sandwich that came with Swiss cheese, spicy slaw, and chipotle mayonnaise with a side of fries and cole slaw. Really good serving size for the price. Can't wait to come back and try something else!

Just off Savannah Road lies a small diner in what used to be a gas station. Don't let that fool you, Casa Amichi (House of Friends) is one of the best diners in Lewes. Plenty of soups and pastas add variety to the menu, and even some Italian foods if you crave such a thing. I'm a boring person, myself, and I stick to what I like. Every day, there's one special that never fails: Two pepperoni slices. Some of the best pizza without paying too much or driving too far from Lewes.

I work around the corner in the Villages of Five Points and we order from here often. Love the chix salad wrap, tuna wrap is good but can be plain if you don't add anything, the New Yorker is pretty good if you are hungry. Salads are fresh, pizza was good when I had it plus they deliver!

We have been there twice so far and the food has been very good. The specials have been great and fairly priced. First time out I had the Prime Rib over Risotto which exceeded my plate, my wife had a fish, I think Cod. Next visit we went with a group of six friends. I had the bean soup and Chicken Parm and my wife had the special, Grouper. All good. When you go in you order at the counter and they bring your order over to your table when ready. We did BYOB.

We have been eating here/having delivered at least once a week for the last three months and really love the food and friendly service. It is good country cooking with satisfying portions and there are several welcome surprises - especially the salmon and the scallops. Good for kids, and reasonably priced.

Prices are really good. Food is simply prepared - like home cooked, which depending on your expectations, can be very refreshing and wholesome tasting, or not overly exciting. People are super nice there, and the restaurant is like fast food for restaurant quality meals - where you order at the counter, and when the food is ready, you eat at a booth. Give it a try. It could also be a good place for a bachelor to get meals who doesn't want to prepare for himself.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
