First time visit since the change of ownership and remodel. Very well done for a restaurant in Dover. Staff was busy, but attentive and pleasant. We had a child with us that she acknowledged and made feel welcome. I saw the same with other staff at other tables. The food was well presented and the flexibility of how your steak/fish is prepared added a hint of foodie fun. The atmosphere is certainly going for the up scale feel, well done. Overall our experience was great, pricing was slightly on the high side but if they continue to deliver fresh and delicious well worth the price. I only hope Dover can support this facility and its growth.

This place isn't the cheapest in town, but it's very good. We have ordered bushels of crabs here a few times and they have always been prepared well. I always have to wait a bit when I pick them up, even though I call when I'm on my way, but I guess that's because at $160+, they don't want some jerk-off saying he's coming in to pick up his crabs, then getting sidetracked leaving them holding the bag (or bags, as it is). We just had some crab chowder from here the other day and there was an absolute ton of crab in it!

The service here is great they were very knowledgeable about various seafood products. They can handle large orders but they reccomend 3 to 5 days advance notice so they can have the quantity you need. They have reasonable prices and selection.

We have eaten here half a dozen times Hamburger was delicious juicy and great flavor any two toppings free. Salad was fresh and house dressing was delicious cranberry raisins were a nice touch. Cream of crab soup was good a little spice to it. French onion soup was fantastic and have ordered that more than once. crab cake was made with fresh crab meat and little or no filler. Excellent. Will definitely be a regular customer.

Excellent sea food, great service. Everything was fresh and yummy. Got a martini that was made well too and reasonably priced. I absolutely will be coming back, next time I may have to try the steak which I was told is hand cut and I am sure is as good as the fresh seafood. Fantastic place, don't hesitate to come here, just go.

They did a fantastic reno on this place. So nice. Upscale for dover. Friendliest server ever! At our table we had seabass, fillet minion, lobster tail and swordfish. Everything got rave reviews. Just loved everything, I thought that potato soup was a little spicy and the asparagus were very little but those were my only complaints. Oh and we had peanut butter pie for dessert. Delish! Did I say I loved it yet?

Very delicious, fresh sea food at this small place. We were coming back from Lewes Beach and came upon this place after calling a bunch of other sea food places and being turned away by the long wait times. The interior is nice and clean with a great atmosphere and decor, don't let the outside fool you. The lobster bisque was delicious as well as the soft shell crabs I orders as an entree. Prices were fair for fresh sea food and comparable to other places around. The other food at the table looked great as well, lot of things that I'd like to try.

What a find! We were searching for a seafood restaurant and really did not think we would find something in Dover. We were pleasantly surprised when we read the reviews here and then decided to visit. From the moment we entered, we felt like we made the right choice. The hostess was very friendly--and witty--and did everything to make our visit memorable. Our server, Aaron (called Eric in a previous review here) was everything the reviewer raved about. He was attentive, remembered all of our names and used them frequently and made us feel welcomed and like we were his only table. The food was above average--portions a little small--but that was all made better because of the atmosphere, caring staff, and quick service. If ou are in Dover waiting on a flight out from the Base, do not pass this place up. And if you are in Dover for any other reason, we highly recommend stopping in and letting them know you read a Yelp review and that is what brought you to them--that's what we did.

Great atmosphere, menu, and food! Recently renovated and under new ownership and management. I held a surprise birthday party for my wife here with 18 guests and we all enjoyed every meal that was ordered and loved the atmosphere. My wife and I have been there for dinner and enjoyed the Atlantic Salmon and chicken (for her) options. The chocolate cake desert was out of this world with it's rich flavor. We have also been there for brunch and let me tell you the Texas French toast is the best you will ever have. The banana bread was served warm and was very moist and tasted great! And they have $3 mimosas!

This place was fantastic,it may have been the best restaurant experience we have had here (Dover area) since moving here from DC. The service was very professional and the food was awesome. We can't wait for the bar side to open...we will be back for sure.

Just had a most wonderful lunch at a rather unlikely place - Reel Fresh Restaurant on Route 10 in Dover. They just reopened after a change in ownership and a complete remodeling. No longer a seafood market, it's now a rather upscale restaurant. The new decor is very well done, but the food is the star here! We only had a couple of appeteasers and cream of crab soup, but all were great. The soup had a hint of sherry that really brings out the flavor of the crab. Tried both the fried oysters and what they call Oysters Rocky, their take on Oysters Rockefeller. The fried oysters were light, cooked perfectly, and served with a corn salsa that was a real treat, but the Oysters Rocky were to die for! I'd venture to say they were the best oysters I've even had. Finally, a decent seafood restaurant that we don't have to drive to the beach for!

Nice quiet place in a strip mall on route 10, formerly a fish market now a restaurant and they know fish, how to buy it and cook it. I've had flounder twice, broiled and blackened, both times were great. Wait staff is pleasant and efficient. Great addition to the kent county food scene.

I started with cream of crab soup, then had the broiled Atlantic salmon with Sriracha sauce for my entrée. The salmon was made just right. 5 stars for great customer service and good food in Dover.

Viki thanks for the reply. The sandwich I had didn't look anything like you explained. The Lobster pieces were not fried and the sauce wasn't drizzled it was smothered in a potato hot dog bun. Sorry but I was disappointed with lunch. I haven't written off Real Fresh, I am going to try dinner.

If I could give this restaurant 10 stars, I would. Our server, Eric, was the best server I have ever had at any place I have ever been to. We ordered escargot, calamari and frog legs as appetizers. They were all absolutely fantastic. Our drinks were mixed to perfection. Their house salad was better than most entree salads I've ordered. Topped with almond, sweet dried cranberries and super fresh beautiful multicolored tomatoes. Entrees were so delicious. King crab legs, snow crab legs, bouillabaisse, mahi mahi and chicken marsala are all highly recommended. Praise to the Chef. Generous portions and a foodie's dream. The warm potato and bacon salad melts in your mouth. Ambiance was very nice and super clean. Comfortable, large booths, decor was just enough and beautiful presentation of food. We travel to Dover once a year and every year we will return here. Tops all other seafood places we've tried in the last 15 years we've been coming to Dover. They can't even compare! We are from New England - we know our seafood and so does Reel Fresh! Thanks again, Eric. You better be there when we return!
