MY favorite spot for no frill teriyaki! Why 5 stars? The food is all house made from scratch. Down to the sauce! Very Delicious and Affordable. The people and most times person who run this hole in the wall are real people and I likes it real. I recomend the spicy yakisoba. Wife likes the yaki chicken and shrimp tempura combo. Dont forget the gyoza!

Well abut 20 minutes till closing we decided to eat here for dinner. Hubs likes them and been here before, it was my first time and well, unless I am wanting a snack other than burgers, I guess I'd try it again. I wasn't impressed, the food was incomplete and rushed and when the old man took our order we were going to eat in, but he said they were closing soon. Hmm..guess customer service quality isn't a high priority here. We ordered 3 plates and gyoza. Have to mention that we waited at the counter over 5 minutes for him to come to the front. Beef & Chick teri plate - it's ok, looked thrown together sloppy & fast. Chick teri & katsu chick - No Katsu sauce, just the sweet tery sauce Shrimp Temp plate - not bad, but no Tempura sauce, again just the same tery sauce. Gyoza- pretty tasty for fastfood and crunchy. THe tery sauce is good, but that's the ONLY sauce given for all of our plates. WTH? Been to many other fast food Japanese places Be4 & this is the worst of them all of them. The food is not bad, but maybe it's because they were closing that the experience for me Shucked!

True mom n pop eatery, but more likely just pop. I've been here 3 times and only have seen the guy work. He takes your order, cooks your food & brings it out. Everything I've had so far has been good, chicken teriyaki, gyoza, tempura, and yakisoba. Service is a little slower because of the 1 man show, but I'm never in a rush when I come here, so i don't mind the wait.

Wow! Never thought of stopping here until I saw yelp reviews. I had wonton soup and it was chucked full of goodies - noodles, dumplings, egg, and green onions. And for only $2.00. I'll be ordering that again and again. Hub had combo chicken and pork plate that came with steamed veggies and white rice. Very filling ! This place was clean and efficient. We'll be back!

Went there for the second time, the food are still delicious. And Yelper, please know that this place is run by one old man, he come out to take your order, the he run to the back to cook them, so service is a little slower, but his food is very good, worth the wait.

5 stars all the way!! Food is worth the wait... It's a one man band; the owner/chef/server/bus boy def could use help but he still perfects the food to enlighten every single taste bud in my mouth to satisfaction. I would come here every day if I could, really I would. The sauces are clearly made from scratch and I've contemplated asking the owner if he'd consider selling me some bottles. If it's your first try here, def go for the classic chicken teriyaki!

Was here a few months ago, and have to say I am still craving the food! Really great place for a family or even just for your self! Really can't say enough good things about them. The food is delicious!!!!!!!! Full of flavor. The staff are extremely polite, and always have a smile. We tried a few things there and just loved every dish that came out of the kitchen.. I strongly recommend this place. And for those of you that are on business there or traveling states and have the time. Stop in here for a bite. Great prices! Enjoy! I know I did. Thank you guys for the great food, will be seeing me again.

Decided to stop and try this place out with my wife and daughter. Ordered the spicy vegetables and shrimp, chicken ramen, and chicken katsu. Vegi plate was great. Spicy sauce had good flavor and heat. Wife and daughter liked theirs as well. Would recommend.

So far so good. And they deliver too?!?! I had to lower the stars cuz they weren't as great as my other go to Asian cafe and they're more expensive. But the food is pretty decent.

5 star! Super high quality Japanese and Korean grub considering the price. I've eaten here over a dozen times. It is a very unassuming little joint run by a very polite older Asian couple. It's a little walk up counter and then they bring the order to your table (not regular wait service). The teriyaki chicken is fantastic. They grill all the meats fresh to order. Never had the beef but the pork is also very good. Very solid tempura too. And for some reason, their steamed rice is probably the best I've ever had. I love it and don't really know why. I also like to get some of the stir fried veggie and meat dishes. The stir fries here are different than at regular Chinese places. They finely chop the vegetables and use a lot less oil and the stir fries turn out really bright and fresh. Never ordered it, but they also have soba noodle dishes that look pretty good. The teriyaki is obviously the star of the menu. They have bowls (smaller) and plates (larger). Both come with rice and steamed veggies. I usually get a dark meat chicken plate and fountain drink. I throw a dollar in the counter tip jar and it's about $9-10. The bowls are cheaper. If they're not very busy (usually the case), they bring out your order pretty quickly, say about 4 minutes. The few times I've seen them busy, it did take longer for the grub to come out. Everything is cooked fresh to order and you can see right into the clean kitchen. They even have some Korean specialties like Bibimap. I've never had it but I know it's kinda hard to find. It's a small place but there are some nice booths, and there are bottles of their very good house made teriyaki and chili sauces on the tables. I always add a nice squeeze of teriyaki onto my grilled chicken and pork and rice. This is not the best Japanese and teriyaki in Denver, but considering the prices, it's an exceptional little teriyaki place. Don't miss this joint if you like teriyaki. This place is also perfect if you're looking for a healthy alternative to fast food.

This place has 5 stars?! Really?! I tried to call in an order on an online menu from a different Kyoto (because this one doesn't have one). The guy didn't have what I wanted. On a different day I showed up at 10:50 (the schedule shows they open at 10:30) and they were closed! I peacked inside to see what they have... chose a number and later called. They don't make it!!! Wow. The other reviewers must have eaten here for free! The food is ok if they have it!

I can't love this place enough. I want to try everything on their menu! I read reviews and thought it sounded good, plus it's right up the street from me. So we went and got the white chicken bowl and the beef plate. Delicious! The sauce isn't too sweet, it's a perfect blend, the meat was so tasty and tender, and the rice was cooked perfectly. I'm picky about veggies, so the only reason I didn't eat those was because of personal taste pallet, but they seemed really fresh and the carrots I had were really flavorful (not cooked to mush at all). We went back recently and found the pork bowl might be the best of the bunch! All of this for about $5-$6 per person. They've made loyal customers out of us!

This place has what it says it has: Teriyaki! It's straight forward and simple... I love the no frills simple atmosphere. I read the bad reviews, and I can't help bus wonder what the expectation people have is. The food I got was fresh, it was yummy, and it was super cheap! I'm totally going to come back!
