A friend and myself have this as our traditional lunchtime hangout. It's not amazing food if you don't know your way around their sauces. You can ask for special cooking / etc... At the grill, and don't forget to add garlic oil, and at least 5 ladles of sauce. Tip: do the vegetables first, and then the meat.

Very good Mongolian food. I like the layout and the selection. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. After my boyfriend made his plate way to hot, he offered to help him with the sauces on the second round. Very good and at a good price.

The food was just okay for me. I checked the menu online prior to arriving and there was a lot of seafood on the menu. When I went there was only imitation crab and one other type of fish. Understandable that not all items are available at all locations but I was still disappointed. Service was great, very attentive waiter.

This is my first time here. Though my family has been here a couple times now. Our waitress was nice when she was around. She was hard to find & it really wasn't that busy. There's a nice mixture of meats, veggies & noodles. Tons of sauces to choose from & mix together. The guys cooking the our were sweet & kind, talking to our kids and friendly. My kids love that they can go back several times which is a great way for me as a mom to encourage them to try new things since we don't have to commit to one dish. Clean, roomy dining area & friendly staff. We'll be back

The Chuck E Cheese of Mongolian themed make your own bowl restaurants - all that is missing is an employee dressed as one of the horde and skee-ball tables. I've never been so thoroughly unimpressed with a restaurant in under 20 minutes. From the frozen paper-thin meats, to the uninspired noodles and sauces, the commingling of everyone's food on the grill, and the disgusting ring of waste around the grill that the cooks continually "clean" their utensils in, if that hasn't obliterated your hunger, then the barely cooked, tasteless food surely will. If you're in the mood for this kind of thing I would recommend Ghengis Grill. Not only does Ghengis Grill have much better food quality, better flavor, better sanitation, they actually spent more than 10 seconds thinking about their franchise concept. For my money I'd rather eat just about anywhere else.

Busy Friday night; got in about 7:30 with just a few minutes wait. The place, was of course, jumping and that added a convivial quality - not too noisy, just people who LOVE to eat coming to place they like. Our first time here but have done the Mongolian BBQ when it was downtown Denver. Our server, Zach was terrif, as were the 3-5 host/hostesses. The meat/veggie tables were well stocked, but messy because of Friday night fever. Fun to watch people watching their food being cooked and the line went fast. Got a good tip from Zach, ladle 8-9 scoops of whatever sauces you pick - I went with the house sauce, and added some others but went with 9 sauces - glad I did. Total for 2 full stir fry and 2 adult beverages - about $42 plus tip. Not bad. We'll go back with out of owners. Plenty of choices for vegetarians. Plus a choice of white or fried rice.

Good staff, energetic cooks ask them "how hot?". super busy at times try going in more toward closing time. All around good place! How hot? HUHOT!

Seriously... This was the absolute worst Mongolian-Grill food I've ever had! Everything was frozen! The meat, the veggies - Everything! Even our appetizers. Tacky, gross, tasteless... BD's Mongolian BBQ has FRESH food. I'll never dine here at HuHot again!

What a great experience. Prepare for battle and control your dining destiny. This place allows you to build your own plate for the grill. Be your own chef....it's fabulous!

Need some diversity in your dining adventures? The Westminster, Colorado HuHot Mongolian Grill will provide some fun in your quest for Asian favors! Our family met here for a nephews birthday and we we learned from the experience. Don't go on a Saturday afternoon with a big crowd because you will wait for a large table and the time to cook the individual plates has everyone eating at separate times. The wait for cooking when the place is full is something you want to avoid. Going to try again on a weekday at lunch to see how the flow goes because the food is good and it's fun to create your own BBQ creations. Gluten free options are a plus. We had never been or heard of dining like this so the process was unique. Pictures are posted of the meat, vegetable and sauce line along with seating arrangments. The sign says to take one bowl and create your platter but it makes more sense to take 2 and fill one with your base noodles or rice, add meat to the top, vegetables and then design your own sauce before merging to the grill line. The special sauce ingredients are going to make or break your culinary experience. There are over 30 different sauces you can combine from sesame oil to habanero sauce, ginger, mustard, sweet, garlic, hot chili, lemon, BBQ, peanut and more. See the menu on the website to create your own before you go and know the calories too! Writing it down when you create something you really like will make it easier the 2nd time through so you can recreate the same flavor. Parking is an issue as you will probably have to park in the apartment lot across from the Grill. Just setting expectations so you know you will have a walk to the front door. The cost as of 2-1-15 was $9.99 per plate for lunch and it's all you can eat with unlimited trips to through the line. A dollar more for dinner but you get soup or salad. There is really no need for appetizers or sides as there are so many choices on the line if you are watching your budget just stay away from the extras as you don't need them to be extremely full. Sign up for the Hot club and frequent diner card and get a free meal on your birthday. huhot.com/HotClub There are 5 locations in Colorado, Arvada, 2 in Colorado Springs, 2 in Ft. Collins and one in Sheridan. huhot.com/Locations/Colo… It's not fine dining.. so go with the right attitude and you will enjoy the creativity in cooking your own creations!

Really enjoyed this place. Fast. Reasonably priced for unlimited BBQ. Good choices. Friendly staff. We will be back

Love this place. We visit whenever we visit from San Diego. I wish everyone has their own tongs vs touching all the same ones and spreading germs. So many combo options to create. I love doing just onion and mushroom and have them steam with water. So good!!

This place is crazy busy and full of kids. Food was good and there are plenty of choices. Great place to take people who eat a lot but kind of pricey if you don't eat much.

First time here. We both liked it and considering my son that means something, lol. We were coming back from a much longer than expected day in the mountains and were trying to wait until we got back to the house still a 45 minute drive away. I was starving and saw the sign from interstate. It had been a long time since I'd been to a Mongolian BBQ. Though had never been to one like this. The food taste amazing. But of course it mostly depends on you since you fix it. Or service was pretty good. Everyone was pleasant. I only had 2 complaints. First the bars were gross. Not necessarily unsanitary but all those people fixing there own stuff make a mess and I didn't see anyone going around cleaning it up. The second was they need at least 2 grills. It takes for EVER to get your stuff cooked. Fix those two things for an extra star each.

I see there are mixed reviews for this place. I thought it was great! I had chicken, veggies, tofu, pad thai noodles and sesame sauce (7 ladles) and it all worked well together. I have never been to a restaurant with this concept before and I was worried I had not picked the right things. True, the guys cooking looked pretty miserable; I don't think I saw a smile the whole time we were in line but I guess I would have a hard time standing over that grill all day. Maybe they need to put out some tip jars and work it...We had an order of egg rolls and they were tasty (hard to mess up egg rolls). I guess my only complaint is it is a little pricey for a person like me who has one bowl & appetizer and I'm stuffed for the same money I would spend on delivery, which I can eat for 3 days. But, it is the experience you go for I suppose. I had to scoff a little at the cheesecake won tons (did not try them; it just felt too wrong). I'd go back if I'm super hungry.

Some people really love this place. I thought the frozen rubber meat selection was terrible. Not going back. But they must have something people like because it's always busy.

  • Tyler L.

I walked in thinking it was a sit down restaurant from seeing the servers but it turns out that they only take your drink orders and small food menu. I suppose you create your own bowl by mixing in a lot of sauces and other veggies and frozen meats. Walking up to add all of the stuff I want in my bowl at the food bar I noticed that it was a disaster and the noodles looked extra wet and everything was pretty frozen and I was utterly disgusted by how many sauces were all over the place and how similar the sauces we're to each other. Overall displeased !

  • Justin F.

Terrible. Most Mongolian bbqs suck but this one takes the cake. Paper-thin meats on the buffet and menus that all stick together. The only reason we came here is because cheeky monk was closed. Uber pass on this suckfest.

Like most of the other dinners I had similar experiences. The place was jamming on a Saturday at noon, we got in fairly quick and was greeted promptly by a friendly server. She took our drink orders (except for mine) and bounced on about her business. We got up and went through the cattle feed style line and assembled our meals. With a stop at the grill they tossed it onto the fire and cooked everything together. All in all the quality of food is average. The environment is loud and busy. Not really enjoyable. Lastly I'm about 95% sure our waitress stole my credit card info. This was the only place I had used my brand new debit card, the next morning my bank account was drained so I called the bank. They asked where I had used my card and I told them here. They said it's pretty common to have someone like a waitress/waiter take a cell phone picture of your card then go on a shopping spree. I can't say for sure but this was honestly the only place I had used the card.

I'm definitely a fan of this place. For $10 all you can eat that ain't bad! We showed up the other day with 30 people for a going away party and someone dropped the ball and didn't call ahead. Now I know 30 hungry zombies storming in would send most waitstaff to the back room to "check the restroom" for an hour but not here! They got right to work setting up our tables and bringing us our drinks. We started the adventure of creating our bowls, I say adventure because there is sooooo much stuff to choose from. One small comment, a note that says what the difference is between the three types of noodles would be a plus. The sauce bar has everything you can think of to put in your bowl. Note: put a lot in there, like 8 spoons because it mostly all fries off when they cook it. Next you can watch them cook up your creation. Don't get too close though, that fire can lure you in and next thing you know you don't have eyebrows (not spoken from experience but it could happen). Once you finish your bowl you need to go back ASAP for the next bowl. The lines can get long and before you know it you have your second bowl done and you aren't hungry anymore. It's the science of eating so much and beating the feeling of being full. Also don't eat the rice, it's a trick to make you full. Last FYI the lunch hour is super busy like I mentioned before. Get there when they open or later around 2pm. Happy Hu Hoting my friends.

This place is excellent, with lots of choices. However, I have two very big complaints, each worth one star off my rating. 1. The meats are frozen and thinly sliced. I get the idea that keeping them frozen helps keep them fresh, but there are better ways to handle this. What this does is cause the cooks to way WAY overcook the meat, compared to the veggies. The meat is so thin that it's cooked within 60 seconds of being on the grill. The result is dry, overcooked meat that can really suck to eat, Especially if you don't have enough sauce. -1 star for that. 2. The tray below the grill where food scraps go, is NEVER kept clean. They NEVER wipe it out, and it continues to collect food. They continually use the edge of this space to scrape off their cooking tools, meaning their tools are constantly touching food products which could be up to a day old. Absolutely the most unclean nonsense I've ever seen at any restaurant. Go to BD's Mongolian BBQ downtown, and you will notice that you can see your own reflection in their food scrap tray. They keep it clean so it doesn't look disgusting. -1 star for the unsanitary conditions.

This was the first HuHot we had ever tried and were pleasantly pleased! I was so excited to see the various seafood choices, but also the assortment of noodles, vegetables, and toppings (coconut, peanuts, wasabi sauce). The service we receive is always quick and friendly and the grillers do a great job. This is our favorite location and beats out Mongolian BBQ for us.

Most nights there is a drink or food special at Hu Hot: Wednesday Night is kids night. Kids are wonderful, but I prefer not to go through a small food buffet line behind them. They are very unconcious about hygene, manners, etc. If you have always wondered what it might be like to dine with chimpanzees, then I recoomend HuHot on Wednesday night. Otherwise, I find the food simple, very healthy, flavorful, and the experience very social, standing around the fry-circle with fellow diners, commenting upon the variety and skills of the fry-chefs. Service was very good. All-u-can-eat at about $13 pp., go hungrey any night EXCEPT WEDNESDAY!!

I normally love Mongolian food, and the first time I visited this HuHot, I really enjoyed it. However we went there for lunch (right around opening time) last weekend, there were only a few other families there, and it was very, very dirty, like they had been busy recently. Most of the meat selection was low, and had a bunch of other food particles/vegetables mixed in with it, a lot of the dishes by the line were dirty, and almost every table we passed was a mess. The service was good, and I'll be giving this place another try... but for the money, I would have liked to go back for seconds, before I lost my appetite.

Mongolian bbq type resturants are one of my favorite places to eat. Hu hot is not the highest quality but priced accordingly, and is overall quite good. I have eaten here several times and usually have a very good experience. I leave one star due to my experience the last time in. I gave the waitress a coupon for buy on get one lunch as we were seated. She accepted the coupon and we ate our lunch. When she brought us our bill she then returned the coupon to us and pointed out that it was valid for mon-fri and charged us for both meals. This should have been brought up before we ate as I presented the coupon at that time. This is a poor business practice.

Hu hut is great if you like varied flavor. You can make it hot, sweet, bland and anything in between. They have lots of veggies and tofu so you can have a healthier meal that has lots of flavor. Being a chain means you get the same'ish feel at all of them. We visit the FOCO location and love it. This one is closer to us. They have great friendly service. The only complaint I have is that their marinade and food bar is quite dirty. I know it can be messy but just noticed lots of dirty areas. That's a turn off. If it was cleaner it would get another star. B

We have found one of our new favorite restaurants! This place is amazing! We have only been there twice, but we plan on going more often. The staff is wonderful and friendly, the food is delicious. They have one of the coke machines with all of different flavor options. Our friend from Kansas said the iced tea was the best that she has had in Colorado. You pick your own meat, noodles, veggies, and spices. Then you have their cooks cook it on the grill. This place is fun and the kids we see seem to enjoy themselves. You Cannot take home leftovers, but it is all you can eat and you can go to the grill as many times as you want. The price is good, too... About $8 per person for lunch, dinner is a little more but you also get a soup or salad. We signed up for their club. They emailed us a coupon for a free appetizer (which was also delicious and plenty for the four of us), and we received a coupon for a free meal for my husband's birthday. With the coupons aside, it is an enjoyable restaurant with fantastic service, great food, and good prices.

Both my wife and myself love HuHot, I would have no problem giving 5 stars. However we decided to go during the superbowl and found the restaurant closed! We weren't the only ones disappointed, as two other cars pulled up when we were trying the door. Closed for the superbowl? Denver isn't even playing. We were very disappointed, no, rather irritated.

Very "eh" experience. Food was good but service was almost nonexistent. Had to wait 5+ minutes to be acknowledged then seated. Served rice for soup 15 minutes before soup arrived. Served appetizer sampler to share with no plates. Very, very eh service wise and they were NOT busy. The guys cooking dishes were great, the rest of the staff was napping and confused.

Hu Hot is our new favorite. The variety of foods offered is great and the sauce bar is awesome. The wait staff are all very pleasant and helpful. The cooks always look like they are having fun which creates a fun atmosphere for kids. Two thumbs up!

I give it 3 stars because it was just okay. I really enjoyed the set up they had going on here and I enjoyed the staff here. The staff were very friendly, made you feel welcome, and they kept the restaurant clean. The food and the guys on the grill didn't really do anything to impress me. The food was just okay... it would be MUCH better if the food was a little more fresh. You can totally tell that everything was frozen as if it was something from McDonalds. Any who, Its nothing to brag to your friends. One thing I did enjoy was the fact that you can go back up there and try something different "flavor wise" every time. FYI one more thing before I forget, be aware of the after affects of the food... The food will defiantly make your stomach turn like a blender if you know what I mean.

I've been to HuHut back where I grew up in WI and now that there is one here I felt I should give it a try. It's in a nice location at the Orchard shopping center and is a nice large size eatery. For anyone not having been to BDs downtown or a Mongolian grill before you stack a bowl full of meat, noodles, veggies, and various sauces and hand it to a chef who cooks it on a large grill while you watch. Fun kind of interactive food experience. They have a wide variety of veggies and the like but the meat is frozen and I don't care much for that. They also pre-mix sauces instead of letting me pick my own mix of flavor. Still pretty good with a good price point

I do really like this place. HuHot makes it easy to eat as healthy as you like with all the choices of meats and vegetables available. I usually try something new every time I go and I usually make it a little to spicy for me but I have a lot of courage when I'm at the marinade bar that doesn't translate to the final dish, but that's all me. It is also very well priced and you don't get any surprises at the end of the meal with add-ons. A couple of things I don't care for but it doesn't keep me away is first, The laminated 1.000s choice pop menu is already old. Second, The choices of soup, Hot and sour or egg drop both are not consumable. I have shared that opinion with them and my servers have said they get that a lot which means it's time to change the recipe. I hope they haven't already gotten so big that something like changing a soup recipe is to much. A added plus would be to offer some type of bread that goes with the meal like a indian flatbread. Lastly, they do offer a very good deal a couple of times a year, you can buy $100 of gift cards and get $20 for free.

Old country buffet quality food - server told us directly that the meat is "low quality," terribly messy atmosphere - sauces covering all of the serving tables, inexperienced servers -talking about personal lives as well as openly talking about tips customers left. Health hazard with slop on and all around grill (sludge in appearance)...overall not relaxing. I would take the alternative. Not worth the 50 for two meals. Yuck!

Wow, amazing what a few months can do. Took my teenager here for a weekend lunch recently. The wow factor is gone; the place was empty at 11:30am, but we stood around waiting for a seat for ten minutes. The meats were frozen SOLID; not thawed at all. Veggie choices were pretty good still, though. The staff was grumpy; one gal who was sweeping around the sauce station got frustrated with my daughter and muttered to a coworker that she might get more work done if we'd stop getting in her way. The grill cooks all seemed to just be waking up. No "Who hot? HUHOT!" No flames on the grill. Nothing. Just dump, cook, go. And, because the meat was frozen, while it was cooked through, it just didn't taste that great! Bad texture! And I didn't see them clean the grill once! So, hope there weren't any gluten-free or strict vegan customers that day. :( Service from our waitress wasn't bad, but folks just didn't seem to be enthusiastic about being here. Disappointing because Orchard NEEDS a mid-price-point meal option. I don't always want a sub, nor do I want to spend a mint at Rock Bottom or Cheeky Monk. I don't foresee HuHot staying open if service and quality does not improve. If you visit their local Facebook fan page, you'll see lots of rah-rah from an area resident touting their vegan-friendly atmosphere. Frankly, given the state of that grill, I'd be concerned about cross-contamination. So, bummed! Really loved this place when it opened. Now, not so much.

For only being open a few weeks this place is already drawing a crowd. I was a little hesitant to try this place out but was pleasantly surprised. Couple things I like: #1 its all you can eat, you can't take leftovers home but you can go up to the grill as many times as you like. #2 You get to pick what you want, it can be a bit overwhelming, so I recommend using their sauce guides above the sauce bar. #3 The cost for dinners it $12.99 for soup or salad, rice, drink and as many trips to the grill as you like, not a bad deal. Kids are where the true steal is, under 9 are $2.99, they get soup or salad, rice, drink and as many trips to the grill as you like; I can't feed them at home for that price. Big plus for me is my picky eaters can make their own! The service was quick and attentive. People have mentioned that, the food quality was not good, but I think that the meat is sliced very thin and then is frozen. The veggies were all fresh and yummy. Its going to be our new stop!

  • David T.

This place is absolute GARBAGE. It's disgusting. FROZEN meats that look as if they have been freeze-dried and chipped away by a chisel. I cannot stress enough how gross it is. To top it off, the bowls they give you are miniscule for what you pay and the food cooks down so damn much that it would only refill a thimble. I wouldn't give my dog this abhorrent food. You'd be better off to gorge on McDonalds, throw it up, then eat it again. That makes for a more appetizing meal.

I was raised in the NW so Mongolian grill is a big thing up there so for a few yrs now I have had to trek downtown to GK to get my fix and well we all know bout parking down there so when HuHot opened I was excited but hesitant by the reviews. upon entering we were seated immediately and after I left I was pleasantly surprised. great service good food and clean atmosphere. Definitely recommend and I am glad I didnt read too far into previous negative reviews...

  • Justin M.

The quality is just not here... there is raw frozen meat in the buffet line. Also, the wait time for getting the food cooked was just absurd. I started talking to one of the cooks and he told me all about the owner and how much the staff didn't like him. He filled me in on how the owner's daughter came through and complained about their "Hu-hot chant". It was pretty comical, but also showed a lack of professionalism. We won't be back.

My word I love this restaurant!! When I come to a restaurant, my biggest thing is the food. And the best part about this food is that you can make it however you want. When I go, I always get the same thing: Chicken Yakisoba Noodles Black Beans Crab Broccoli Green Peppers Onions Tofu 5 ladles of Garlic Brooth and 1 Ladle of Soy Sauce My boyfriend always tries the little recipes that the restaurant offers and he always loves the different types of recipes. His favorite is the Sexy Seafood recipe or the Curry. The only reason why i didnt give this place 5 stars is because our server was rude and seemed real pissed off that we only got the buffet and no appetizers or drinks. But I know that we will be back because I absolutely love this place. I have also gone to the location in for collins and it is also very good there as well!

After being disappointed at Cheeky Monk we decided to come here to bring friends and family after an exhausting day of moving. Everyone enjoyed it, there were a few who were on diets and could pick and choose what they needed. Overall for the price and experience it was great. The food isn't SPECTACULAR but you make your own recipe and they provide recipe cards which I always use.

Ok Mongolian for the price. I have had better and paid more and I have had worse and paid much more

    (4)
  • Ryan F.

I'm giving them a three because it was just "meh". It was very middle of the road for me. It wasn't very clean, the tables, the buffer style of options for your entrée, and the grill itself was filthy. I've been to other Mongolian places that offer a cleaner atmosphere at a better price. It just wasn't for me.

The pros was staff was really friendly and food tasted good. The cons restaurant was really dirty. Came in at the end of lunch was charged for dinner, but we were not offered the soup or the salad that are suppose to come with it. Came home and immediately was sick.

  • Michelle T.

Exactly what I would expect from a Mongolian BBQ place. If you don't like the smell of buffets or raw foods, this isn't the place for you. However we found the selection of meats and veggies good, the variety sauces excellent and the staff all friendly and helpful. Don't expect fine dining, but if you are picky about sauces and veggies in your stir fry, I recommend you try it at least once.

As other reviewers have explained, the short version here is that if you've been to BD's Mongolian Grill, you will HATE this place. Even if you haven't, I still can't recommend it - no amount of ignorance can erase the sight of chipped frozen chicken. If you're at the Orchard and need somewhere to eat, any place else will do. Here's the details... You know when you have a hankering for Chinese food, and you have a particular experience in mind, then you decide that you'll go to a Chinese Buffet and leave feeling like you just had Folgers Crystals replace your usual Sumatran Blend? This is that place. I've been to BD's, but on a shopping trip I was perusing the Orchard's offerings and was excited to see a Mongolian Grill right on the property. Seeing it was a chain, and figuring that any Mongolian Grill chain would know about BD's, we went for it. I figured wrong. Rather than fresh meats such as BD's offers, the chicken, beef, and pork are all frozen... um... the best I can come up with is "jerky." It's almost unrecognizable, the pork and beef almost indistinguishable, and watching one of the workers literally chipping the frozen chicken from the bottom of the pan to make room for more was pretty nasty. I imagine the idea is something along the lines of pho...add a bunch of liquid (the sauces, which are the only reason this place gets any stars) and the meat will plump up into a recognizable substance. Not so much here, despite me really loading up the sauces for the second go round. The only fresh meats on hand were some anemic shrimp that tasted frozen when cooked, some Krab (tm), some kind of sausage, and meatballs (really? meatballs?). The veggies, thankfully, looked okay, but after the meats I didn't really have much confidence. The sauces were pretty good, but I imagine they are made off-site and sent in bottles; there's a very fast-food element to this place. Complimenting the sauces as a saving grace would be like complimenting the Heinz ketchup at a terrible hot dog stand. (If you *do* go, though, try the mix listed as the "Pad Thai" recipe, but add an extra ladle of the peanut sauce. Tasty, but eat it fast because it gets sticky when it cools and gums up the noodles.) The staff was mostly okay, but the cooks at the grill had no enthusiasm for the task whatsoever, though I sympathize since they stand around what is essentially a huge hot plate for hours on end. But still, watching them clean the grill, swiping dirtied water INTO THE COOKING FOOD of the dish next to them, after spilling half the sauce out of my reasonably filled bowl on the 2-foot journey to the grill surface, meant I was done for the night. On top of everything else, the place just felt gross from the word go. Even before I saw the frozen wasteland of chipped beef in the line I noticed roller-rink carpet, chipped paint on dirty walls, and the fact that to get to the washroom one must maneuver past a kitchen that stinks of the back of a McDonald's and a stack of high chairs that, at the very least, is a fire hazard. The only thing saving this place from total awfulness (besides the sauces) was the S'mores dessert, which I was super excited about until my daughter pointed out that the presentation was *exactly* the same as the one she had seen at Target. So basically I could have stayed home with that one. The Hershey's bars come in their wrappers; I'm amazed they didn't just hand us a box of graham crackers, a bag of marshmallows, and a pair of scissors. Not that I'm above unwrapping my own chocolate, but for 8 bucks I expected a little better. Maybe it's just up-charged to cover what is undoubtedly a huge insurance premium for having open flame at tables full of children? Still...S'mores! S'mores are awesome. One star for the S'mores, one star for the Pad Thai sauce combo and the fact that at least it wasn't a deep-fried dinner.

Food was good. The people were good. The disappointment was that the all the bowls were dirty. I cannot believe how they are able to just put those for us to use. The guy who seemed to be someone like a store manager came around our table to check-in, and I mentioned about the bowls. He acknowledged and left but I think nothing was done as they were still dirty for our second run. I'd love to go back, but that'll stay as a big turn off.

Nice venue though you have to be really hungry to get the most out of it. Loved the cooks! Friendly and talkative and quick. The meat was frozen so no worries about bacteria, and the sauces were excellent. Definitely recommend the new buffalo appetizer.

This place is more about the experience than quality food. It's fun to prepare and make your own dishes. The quality of ingredients is marginal and a lot is frozen. For the price, you would like higher quality ingredients and maybe more side choices other than rice (BDs Mongolian Grill offers tortillas which is another option). A little pricey but a fun experience. Should you go, avoid busy times (lunch and dinner) or you will be caught in a long line waiting with bowl in hand for your plate to be cooked. This line can range anywhere from 10-25 min.

I've never been to a Mongolian place with waiter service, and I found that a bit odd. It seems like it would be more efficient if people could just get their own drinks and not have to tip a waiter for something so simple...but they do have some apps and desserts that the waiter can bring you I guess (we didn't have either). As far as the grill, it was very tasty. They have gluten free rice noodles and some gluten free sauces. I'm not overly worried about cross-contamination so I didn't mention being gf to the cooks, but I'm sure you could do so and they would cook you food separately (at least I hope). The Thai sauce is delicious; I highly recommend it! Also, bring a dollar or two up to tip the cooks, they're the real people deserving of some extra cash.

This place was disgusting! Ate here tonight and I would never go back! When we walked in we were escorted to a table that was dirty, there was food and garbage all over the floor. The floors around the buffet area are coated with grease and slippery as if they don't clean them at all during the day. The meats are frozen and shaved thin. For my plate I chose chicken. When it cooked, it was a gelatinous mess on my plate. The vegetable choices were just OK, the sauce selection was pretty good but the layout is confusing. The whole buffet setup is simply retarded and not organized. The cooks don't do a whole lot of entertaining while theyre cooking like they do over at B&D. Our waiter was a total loser. I asked for a beer and water...didn't get either until I had to remind him like half way into dinner. We didn't even get rice at the table, we had to ask him for it and he just had a stupid bewildered look on his face. Overall this place doesn't even deserve a whole star. Don't bother going here when there are other mongolian restaurants in the city you can try!

  • Jessica H.

The selection was mediocre, and the preparation/cooking of the food was sub par. The chef must have been new, because the manager that was cooking his own food was much more experienced on the grill than the person cooking the customers food. Our waiter Jorge was RUDE, and smelled strongly of body odor. It was decently priced because we caught the lunch special, but there was really nothing special about this. I've been to similar places that had a better selection of meats and veggies. I probably won't return.

HuHot is good for a solid vegetarian / vegan meal. Lots of veg options and tofu as well. Making the meal spicy is not a problem as they offer some decent sauces. Overall prefer the express layout in Ft. Collins as it is cleaner as the food is not open to the patrons. Also don't see any value in the other menu options.

Was so so... definitely pretty cool set up with a variety of options for a buffet style restaurant. Sort of pricey for the type of establishment.

First visit was great. Owner was there that night hard at work. Everyone was on their toes. Chefs were fun, service was great. So why 1 star rating? Our second visit was for my b-day. Very disappointed. Service was horrible, chefs were boring, food area where you fill your bowls were a mess. Protein bins were empty. Our waitress said nothing about my b-day celebration, hostess was checking her phone while working, egg drop soup was disgusting- tasted like pure egg. Tables were left for 20 min. until they where bused. So sad because I saw how hard the owner was working our first visit. Obviously the staff has no respect for customers or the business.

I'm SO bummed with the new hu hot! This is my most favorite place to eat ever. We went the other night, the staff, SUPER nice, very good....The food....Cold. :( Now, they cook it in front of you, and I have been to Hu Hot about a million times in the past, no problems, but.....Our potatoes, broccoli, and other thicker cuts of veggies were cold after they were done cooking. After the first round, we let the server know, went up again....same problem. Maybe let the food cook a minute or two more so it is totally done.....We will be back, and hope the food is warm next time. Good luck guys! :)

50 min at the table and NO ONE came to to ask if I even want water. Good thing you serve your own, somewhat decent food, because otherwise you'd leave thirsty AND hungry.

This place sucks. I love Mongolian BBQ but this is imitation at best. The vibe is more Country Buffet than legit M-BBQ. The protein selections are few compared to other BBQ's and the place has been filthy both times I've been there. Would it kill someone to run a sweeper through there and wipe the tables?

    (1)
  • Brian M.

Definitely a mixed bag. The positives were a hard-working service staff, plenty of seating space, and recipes to build your bowl from. Negatives were lack of (fresh) proteins and disorganized host(ess) and boring chefs. We brought our family of 5 in at 230p in the afternoon (thinking it would be slow and we could get a table quick with 3 kids). The place looked half empty, more empty tables than not. The hostess told us it would be a 15-minute wait, which was really confusing and frustrating considering how many open tables there were. Sure enough, 3 minutes later we were seated. There was pretty much chaos are the check-in, very disorganized. Our server, Shannon, was awesome. she worked really hard and we were thankful to have her waiting on us. The food was alright, the proteins are frozen, there's only beef, chicken, pollock, crab, pork, and cod i believe. no shrimp. Basic ingredients except egg, kind of weird not seeing egg at a mongolian grill. Probably 20 different sauces with some ideas/recipes on combinations from mild to hot/spicy. I really enjoyed the "Sauce of the Season", it was flavorful and spicy. The mongolian grill chefs were super lame. Maybe i've been spoiled from other similar places (BD's...) but these dudes looked like they were counting the minutes until break time. No interaction with customers, or each other, except the HuHot group chant thing like every 30 minutes. They didn't do much with the food after putting it on the grill, basically just throwing it on there for 3-5 minutes then grabbing it off. i will give them credit for always matching the bowl to the right person, that was nice. Overall it was a fine exerience, definitely a more casual version of BD's (which apparently is the standard according to other reviews). Definitely more family-friendly, treated our kids really well and plenty of parking. If you're a "foodie" then you probably won't like this, but if you're just looking for something that the whole family will probably like and won't break the bank, this might be a good option. a lot of families there while we were there.

This create your own stir fry restaurant has a lot to offer. There is a wide variety of items to choose from. The food itself was amazing. It's all you can eat stir fry, and with so many different sauces and combinations, the possibilities are endless. You also get a salad with your meal, I had the asian salad which I highly recommend. This place was pretty busy on a Wednesday night. It seemed like they were pretty understaffed, our waitress only visited our table about 2 times. The manager had to refill our drinks because the waitress was no where to be found (even after I had asked her for a refill). A lot of the sauce bowls were also pretty empty. There was also a bit of a wait for the grill where they cook your food. The quality of the food made up for what the service was lacking. The restaurant has a cool vibe, I'd definitely visit again.

  • Amanda N.

Decent. Went here for a birthday party. The food is good, it's the waiting for the food that gets you. Especially when they're busy, you can stand in line for quite some time. Those guys at the grill work their butts off, but the volume of people really calls for more than one grill. Waitress was nice, but bad-mouthed the owners a couple times Awkward.

Understand, this is 5 stars *for* *a* *Mongolian* *BBQ*. It's very good, but I wouldn't want anybody dressing up in a tux to go there, even though it is large, bright, and very clean (dirt in the dark is a common failing of Mongolian BBQ places, I've found). It's your standard Mongolian BBQ setup: Grab a bowl, go down a line a shovellling meats & veggies into it, slather some sauce over your concoction, hand it to the cooks to grill, wait, then eat! The points to be aware of are: The selection of ingredients is really rather good. Beef, chicken, pork, two kinds of sausage and Krab (fake crab, boo) for you meat-eaters. For vegetables, there is tofu, bean sprouts, sliced (sweet) peppers, celery, bamboo shoots, and about 12 more things I've forgotten. There are also noodles of various types (Pad Thai, Udon, etc.) and white or brown rice served at your table. The selection of sauces is big enough to be thoroughly confusing, It ranges from very mild (their own) to a habanero-based thing rated at 6 little fires, with all levels in between. Also lemon and lime juice, sesame oil, etc. Fortunately, they have "recipes" posted for several curated combinations. I used one that is supposed to mimic Pad Thai - peanut sauce (two fires), lime juice, and about 4 more things I don't remember. Turned out very good, just spicy enough to have a little kick. A cool thing for kids (well, maybe an adult or two, too): They will set up a pupu-platter-like thing on your table with ingredients to make your own s'mores. Free if it's your kid's birthday. One reason I liked it right now is that I've started the year off doing a low/no-carb diet thing. That's easy to do here; just avoid the noodles & rice. Another is that the price covers all you can eat. Go back for more bowls as much as you like. Service was *super* attentive, but not pushy. The server explains the options, gets drinks and rice, and serves appetizers. We had the pot stickers, which were quite good but had the wrong sauce: a sweet-and-hot sauce that just didn't go with them. Our server said we should go do the bowl/grill thing while she got it - this was, in my opinion, a mistake. The pot stickers were there when we returned, giving us a choice of eating them or the main meal while both were rapidly cooling. I'd just wait, get the appetizer, then go to the line. Other than that little glitch with the appetizer, there was zero to complain about. I'm happy to have this place here now. Get there soon; it's sure to become very popular and much more crowded as it gets found. They are clearly planning for that: There are lots of tables, and a large waitstaff already there and working.

NOT GOOD........ I just can't get over how extremely low quality and grade the meat is! It overpowered the rest of the ingredients to the point of complete disappointment. I'm in the industry and I know how important quality is and they really failed with the meat. If you want a better suggestion try BD's Mongolian......the quality is far superior......

I was very close to rating it two stars, but there are some pluses. If you've been to B.D.s Mongolian BBQ in Denver, you will not like this restaurant. If you haven't, or if you have never experienced this type of dining before, I'd recommend it. Let me further explain. Mongolian Grills let you create your own stir-fry. You choose the meats, veggies, sauces, etc., and they grill it up in front of you. You can keep going back to try new dishes. At $13 for dinner, its fairly priced. THE POSITIVE: The sauces seem awesome here. I was able to create a really awesome, spicy Pad Thai dish that had kick and everything I love in it. Shrimp/Pad Thai noodles/Edamame/Peppers.... it was great. THE BIG NEGATIVE: All meat is frozen. I mean, the shrimp isn't but I'm guessing its thawed. The beef/pork/chicken is all 100% frozen chips of meat. So when you grill it up, they are grilling frozen meat for you. And as you can imagine, the meat is pretty poor when you actually get to eat it. BDs has fresh meats, including awesome fresh lamb (at least they did the last time I was there a year ago). So the meats in general here are very disappointing. THE SMALLER NEGATIVE: They have one of the new fancy coke machines with lots of different flavors.... but its not accessible! You have to order it from a server instead of playing around with the fountain. I don't get it. It seems like a really cheap move by ownership. So if you can't make it to a better Mongolian Grill, I think I'd still recommend this, its fun and fine. But I'm overall disappointed with my experience because of the meat.

I wanted to like this place because the concept is good, but it needs twice the grill space to accommodate the number of tables - we went on a Saturday night and waited 30 minutes each time we went to the grill. This after am hour wait to get a table. But that isn't my biggest problem. The place is filthy. Dirty floors, dirty dishes, dirty food bars. Grill looked disgusting where they dump the remnants if everyone's good in the middle. They've only been open a couple months but it honestly looks like no one has deep cleaned anything. Really unappetizing, especially when you have a 30 minute wait to stand and look at the filth. Go to cheeky monk or 3 margaritas instead, sure the food might not be as interesting, but you won't have to wonder if it's safe.

So I'm a sucker for some Mongolian grill. That said, this is not for me. The layout of this restaurant sucks! It's awkward and slow to move around the grill and the staff door is right in line to the grill meaning many wrecks becoming likely. The service is fine, typical at best. The ambiance makes one confused if you are at McDonalds or a Chinese Restaurant. I don't think Genghis Khan would approve, especially at this price point.

Keeps going down hill. Came in at night with my family, almost everything is picked through. The grill guys are less than enthusiastic as they once were. Very dirty not a clean restaurant. It's not worth the money. I would go somewhere else. I think the novelty part is wearing off.

I really wanted to go to this place because of how much we love BD's. We got there and it looks nice. Looks like they copied BD's whole idea. But anyway. Who cares about that. We went up to get our food and all the meat is frozen. Not fresh. The veggies all looked alright. The noodles were good looking but had meat that people spilled into them and they just put more noodles on top of them and don't take them out. We get to the sauce section and it was a total mess. Sauce all over the place. Most of the sauces were spilled into and mixed together. Once we got done with that I was looking for the eggs. No eggs. None at all. That is my favorite part of BD's. OK so we got to the grill and they started cooking. OK LISTEN TO THIS!!!! If you have ever seen the grill they use its large and round and food and grease and fat fall off into a lower section that they scoop into a bucket. How do they get rid of the bucket? By reaching over everyone's food and throwing it away down a shoot in the middle of the grill. And yes he dripped all over 2 individuals food that was on the grill cooking. I almost walked out. And It wasn't even my food. So someone ate the scraps drippings from a day of cooking with their meal. Gross. Never will I go back there. If you go there. Watch your meal very closely. But I recommend you don't go.

I have eaten here quite a few times now, and my favorite thing about HuHot is the mussels on the bar (when they have them)....Mussels are my favorite, and I like that I can add whatever sauce I like and change the flavor trip after trip to the bar....all for a reasonable price! Also, this place is great for vegetarians and vegans, because they offer lots of healthy veggie options and very flavorful sauces! Thanks HuHot for "all you can eat" after my workouts at Lifetime Fitness across the street!

This is a really fun place to come for dessert. They have a great s'mores platter that is entertaining for the kids and yummy for everyone. You get a mini fire pit set up on your table, a platter of graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate, and some skewers. There's also a huge selection of sodas to choose from. It's a great place to stop and reward the kids for being good while you shopped.

Wow, I am so surprised to read all the negative reviews on here. I just discovered this place a few weeks ago so I'm wondering if it has improved since the bad reviews. I was very happy and have returned several times. I found the customer service and the food to be wonderful and it was clean when I went. I normally try to go for an early dinner (5pm) to avoid the crowd. I made the mistake of going on a Friday night at 7pm once and I don't recommend that. They customer service and food were still great but there was a long wait in the cooking line. I would definitely recommend this restaurant though! Everyone I've brought has loved it.

This is one of our familys favorite places to eat. A few reasons we like it: 1. The price ($12.99 for an adult dinner, Ages 3 & under Free, Ages 4-9 $2.99, Ages 10-12 $4.99) and it's all you can eat. You can NOT bring leftovers home but you can go up and visit the grill as many times as you want. 2. With your dinner to get to choose a soup or salad and you can a bowl of white or brown rice for the table (all for the $12.99) 3. All variety of items to choose from. I love it that I can pick exactly what I want for my stir-fry. There are a few different kinds of meats, probably about 20 different kinds of veggies, tofu, and about 20 different types of sauces ranging from mild to super spicy! One of the things we didn't like about the Westminster location was the lack of large tables for larger parties. There seemed to be only 2 or 3 areas to put larger parties (7+ people), so you end up having to wait a while to be seated. Tip: Join the Loyalty Club for discounts (free app when you 1st sign up). And, sign your kids up for the Birthday Club. They will get a free S'mores dessert the month of their birthday.

It's your standard Mongolian BBQ like other reviewers have stated. Very friendly and attentive wait staff. Plus if you've never been here they'll happily explain the process of: Grab a bowl, fill with meat of your choosing, toss in some greens and slather it with sauce. Then you get in line for them to cook it up for ya. Pretty good place. 3 for now till I go again.

I've done Mongolian a lot and typically enjoy it. The staff was very friendly at HuHot and gets good marks but unfortunately that's the only high mark I would give. And trust me, I want to like any restaurant within quick driving distance. A small thing is that we asked for hot water for tea a couple of times and neither time did they bring out hot water. The quality of the meat is low for a Mongolian place, the veggies okay and not enough spices for my taste. It was also strange as another reviewer said that while cooked in front of you the food wasn't all the way hot when it came to the table. Unfortunately we won't be going back.

Great idea, but this location is a health hazard. The floors were muddy, although it has not snowed for 4 days. There was a wait, but as I walked back to use the restroom while we waited I counted 9 open tables that had not been cleared or cleaned. The bathrooms were a nightmare. Once we were seated the waitress was prompt and very nice. He's where it all falls apart. We were told how the process works of making our own stir fry. When I went to pick up a bowl to start picking out my ingredients there was food and grease on a majority of the bowls. I would have left at this point if it would have not been for my family being with me. Waiting in the line I noticed what may have been thin sliced, Pork, chicken and beef...frozen and spilled all over the place. Next was to pick out your choice of veggies...once again some were completely out, and soggy. Onto the sauces...spilled all over, NOT TO MENTION ALL THE TONGS WERE STICKY. We waited another 5 minutes until we hit the line to cook our food. Grease coated everything. The paper towel right next to the food was coated in grease and dust. The guys who cooked were nice and coated in grease and food. Filthy...again. GROSS!

If you like to wait in line, have other rude people in line with you, and like scraps of frozen cheap meat, this is the place to go. Otherwise AVOID THIS PLACE. I've had good Mongolian BBQ... This is not it. This is more like crappy Chinese food. The line is not organized well. A place this size should have two grills. Food is awful, unfortunately I didn't read all the bad reviews before I came tonight (my bad for not checking Yelp first!) They have two lines converge in one...so no sense of order, so people are just rude and cut in front of you. I let one person merge in front of me, two others just squeezed in as well. They don't even use the grills properly. You don't place food in one spot, you have to move it around the grill, keeps the grill from losing heat. Obviously they don't know how to operate the grill. Terrible place to come with kids...you can only get one plate at a time. If you have little ones, that means multiple trips.. in a very long, very slow line. All this might be slightly forgivable if the food was ok. Cheap dry frozen meat.. mushy noodles...unevenly cooked food. Even the rice was screwed up.. cold and dry. I would give them no stars if possible. I'm sure this place won't be around for long. UPDATE: My wife was barfing in the middle of the night. Probably a result of her food not being cooked properly.

I did not have high expectations going into this place, but I thought I would give it a try. Wow, it was even worse than expected. Decor was confusing, dialoged intro by hostess was fake awkward. Even after the weird entry I was still open minded to giving it a try. This was until we lined up cafeteria style only to wait to fill our bowls with FROZON chicken and other meat products. Everything was frozen and sauces were a mess all over the sauce bar. Line was crazy long and after all this....The food was HORRIBLE!!! We mentioned to the manager how bad the curry was and he said he has heard that it is really bad. The only reason this place get's one star is because the manager did comp our food.

It is what it is...high throughput feeding trough. Food not bad, service typical for high school kids, but major cleanliness issue on our only visit. Dishes had no shortage of dried on food and one still had a wrapper from a moist towelette stuck to it...once I dug through the stack to find a clean bowl, wasn't too bad. Cleanliness issues reported to staff...appeared to be ignored. Multiple requests for additional rice from our server were ignored. Sorry to say, but pretty typical of a lot of other similar restaurants these days...the goal is to get the cattle through and back out the door anything more is inconveniencing them...that was made clear. We did not go in looking for a high end dining experience....but a clean dining experience would have been nice.

I have been here twice now and can safely say that I will be a regular whenever my journeys bring me to Orchard. If there is a wait, they give you a time and send you a text message when your table is ready. This gives you some time should you choose to go shop around REI or just walk around the surrounding shops. The table service is friendly, attentive but seems a little understaffed (at least the two times I was there). The Grill service is EXCELLENT and seems well staffed; if that is the trade-off for fewer table waiters than I am glad for it. Lines through the grill move swiftly with a sense of urgency and food comes prepared just right. They have wonderful options for meats and veggies including delicious sausages, delectable little meatballs, Beef, chicken, pork, scallops and even tofu, Mix all this with a very well stocked sauce bar with an easy to follow heat guide and you have yourself limitless options for your all-you-can-eat stir-fry fix. Their desert options are interesting and have a flair the fits the rest of the experience well. Cheese Cake Rangoons and a S'mores dish that comes with a little sterno to make them yourself at your table are interesting and delightful selections. Give it a shot.

The food quality is fair, and pretty well priced. Especially if you are bringing the family. However the service is terrible. I observed it not only with our service but the tables around us as well. Drinks were not refilled, the cooks were not interactive at all, and there was really no one to assist you with your food or questions. It was a fun experience to take the kids there, but one I probably will not be repeating.

  • Jeremy G.

What a terrible, disappointing experience. I wasn't expecting a lot. But what I got was frozen, tough meat with dirty floors and grease everywhere. Tables that weren't bussed for some time and awful odors coming from the kitchen. Less than attentive service. Not to mention employees eating and drinking in that same kitchen in plain sight of the dining room. It might seem safe with chef's cooking your food on a hot grill, but for a real eye opener, check the Tri-County Health website for the spurious details. Don't let the low price of admission fool you. $13 a head is reasonable for good AYCE. But not when you have to endure this. Caveat emptor!

My first trip there was awesome. Great food, awesome service and we had a pleasant experience. The next trip there, I have to say the service needed work. There were only a handfull of high chairs for kids, so I was out of luck and had to put my one year old on my lap because she was too small for a booster. Our server left us sitting for 5 minutes with no "I'll be right with you" or "can I start your drink order" so we just left straigt to the cooking station. The cooks are great! My daughter has a nut allergy and every time they sterilize the cook top better than I would expect! Kuddos to the cooks. Once we returned to our table, I asked the manager if we could get drinks and rice. He took care of us and then the server took over. We received our rice after we were done with our meals and never got a refill on drinks. We ordered s'mores for the kids and those were an absolute hit. Made up for the bad experience otherwise, although it was not enjoyable for me in the least having my baby on my lap the entire meal. Had she been sitting in a hair chair, I could have actually ate! So I decided to give it another shot last night with my husband who had not been there yet only to be dissapointed again by the service. We ordered our drinks, salad and asked for brown rice, were instructed on how to get our food and were on our way to the cooking station. Upon our return, we did have our drinks, but no salad and no rice and no straw for the 1 year old who absolutely can not drink out of a cup without spilling it everywhere. As we were finishing our meal, I caught our server and asked for a straw, our rice and our salad hoping at least the rice would arrive soon. When she returned she explained that they ran out of rice so it took longer than usual. Not sure if they ran out of straws and salad too but I didn't bother asking. It appeared that the staff has been trimmed down each time we go there and the customer service is not as good as it was for the grand opening. The food is good - not great - but good and I like that I can load up a bowl with my own ingredients full of veggies and protein. Tips - If you go and have kids who need a high chair - call ahead to make sure they have enough available. 5 high chairs for this large of a restaurant is NOT ENOUGH! Also, make sure you ask for your salad and rice to arrive before your meal is cooked. I prefer to eat my rice with my meal and not after my salad......after my meal. They are making a huge mistake by trying to save money cutting staff back. The service is lacking and they are losing business because of it. Oh yeah.....one more thing. There is always a wait.......even if the restaurant is not full because of the lack of staff. If you wait, don't expect to go have a cocktail at the bar because there is not one!

HuHot is a place for all to eat. Food was great for us vegans. Vegetarians and Allergy people "healthy eat" user friendly everything. Ask for Mongolian Treatment -- your extra special scrub and utensils. Staff rocks. It's a HuHOT experience I will be back often for. Spotless place.

I think one star is over rating this place!!! It was the worst experience ever. I went with my family to celebrate my mother in law's birthday and it was mortifying. Our salads came out before our drinks. We even made it through the buffet line before we had salad or drinks! Oh man, not to mention that on the website it looks like a place that you would want to dress up for. This was nothing more than a cafeteria. I was miserable, so was the server and every other employee that worked there. Nobody seemed happy. I sure know that my mother in law had a bad birthday experience. Will never return.

We've been twice now, once in the first few weeks it was open and once again a few weeks ago. I have only been for dinner, and overall I very much enjoy it. Food is very good, nice selections. Kids love the grill, "how hot? HU HOT!" and making their own bowls.

Fun for the family. Reasonably priced. Food was average, but guess that's my fault as I picked the ingredients.

My family and I love to go out to Hu Hot for prep your own cuisine. We used to drive to Fort Collins but when this location opened we tried it out (a lot closer to where I live) and we were not disappointed! They could use a couple of big round tables (we had a large party) but we loved the quality and the hard working staff. We will be back very soon.

Food is decent. Didn't expect they'd be quite busy on a Monday night. Had to wait 20 min for our table. And another 10 min each time to wait in line for a plate of food to be cooked.

Today I figured I would try somewhere new to eat. Previously I have walked past HuHot while at the Orchard. Today I was totally disappointed in my choice. I made the assumption that HuHot was going to be the same as BD's Mongolian Grill. You know what happens when you make assumptions. Minimal food choices when it comes to meat and I am not a vegetarian. The sauces were just as limited and no eggs to add to your meal which is maddening. My best advice for everyone is to make the trip downtown or find something else to eat. I should have checked YELP before eating anywhere new "lesson learned". As I write this review I decided to give this place 2 stars instead of 1 star due to the awesome wait staff.

This was easily the worst meal I have had in a long time. The people cooking my food did not stir it once so half my noodles were frozen and the other half were burnt.

It's confusing at first, and the staff is rude. The food was okay when I finally figured it out. The thing that made it okay it was the s'mores for dessert. I won't be returning.

  • Casey C.

    (1)
  • Amanda N.

  • Jay B.

  • Mei H.

  • Karissa U.

It's confusing at first, and the staff is rude. The food was okay when I finally figured it out. The thing that made it okay it was the s'mores for dessert. I won't be returning.

  • J D.

The food was just okay for me. I checked the menu online prior to arriving and there was a lot of seafood on the menu. When I went there was only imitation crab and one other type of fish. Understandable that not all items are available at all locations but I was still disappointed. Service was great, very attentive waiter.

Seriously... This was the absolute worst Mongolian-Grill food I've ever had! Everything was frozen! The meat, the veggies - Everything! Even our appetizers. Tacky, gross, tasteless... BD's Mongolian BBQ has FRESH food. I'll never dine here at HuHot again!

Love this place. We visit whenever we visit from San Diego. I wish everyone has their own tongs vs touching all the same ones and spreading germs. So many combo options to create. I love doing just onion and mushroom and have them steam with water. So good!!

    (2)
  • Justin F.

This Restaurant Serves Great Food! Up to 120 Coca-Cola flavors with the Freestyle Machine from the kitchen. Awesome!!! Has two other locations in Ft. Collins that I am aware of. Check it out!!!

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
