Fabulous lunch! I had a grilled turkey and Swiss on sourdough with fresh avocado and my parents split a hot ham and cheese. Ingredients were fresh and the food was made to order. The small shop was spotless and the owner/chef could not have been any nicer. If you are looking for a local joint with great food, look no further!

Don't let the exterior fool you, this place is great. Just had the best French Dip I've ever had. Place was empty when we got in, which normally would deter us from going In, but there was such great yelp and trip advisor reviews so we pushed on. Food all around was fantastic, service was great, and the cook keeps a very clean kitchen. It's a small hidden gem that we will be sure to come back and see if we come back to the Great Sand Dunes National Park.

Skip the fast food by the highway and drive a tiny bit through town for REAL food. Awesome homemade sandwiches, grilled by Ward. A nice surprise driving through town on way to Taos.

Nice little local spot. We try and avoid the fast food corporate type places. Fast service and friendly people. I had the French dip and hubby had the three pig special. No lunch belly hangovers.

Great little Deli. Stopped in here on the way to the Sand Dunes. There was a very nice gentleman working (I believe he was the owner) that told us about a few different 4 wheeling off road options to check out around the park. Had a very good roast beef and green chile sandwich... Great price for the quality of the food and ingredients! Next time I'm in Walsenburg, I'll be back

Great little gem! We had the Reuben, turkey & avocado, French dip. All the sandwiches come with chips or homemade potato salad. Cute little place and food at a good price.

The Seventh Street Dinner is well worth a stop if you're in the area. The French Dip au jus was awesome...the French Roll crusty, the prime rib juicy and tasty. The service was friendly, prompt, attentive. Don't miss this gem...

If you're in town, stop off here! They roast the prime rib in house for their French Dip, Walsenburg Cheesesteak (YUM...), and the other hot beef sandwich (the name escapes me sadly!). The food comes out quickly, too! Fresh, hot, delicious, everything you would hope for in a lunch joint. The staff was awesome and very friendly, as well, definitely key in a small town restaurant. You definitely should stop on by between 11am and 5pm if you're in town!

The best new restaurant in Walsenburg. Open just two months and seems to be going strong. Their sandwiches are simple but well made. I need to remember to come here more often. Definitely one of the best places to stop in Burg for lunch if you don't want something weighing you down. Unfortunately they are closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Had the steak sandwich and it was delicious - very simple place but clean with very friendly staff and great service - is open 11-3 so time your stop well! Much better than other options in the area from what i saw driving through

A great little deli right off the main drag, with a friendly atmosphere and great service. The prime rib cheese stake was excellent.

We stopped at this place on our way back to Denver from New Mexico. It's just a short 1.5 mile drive off of 25. I am so glad that we did. I had the walensburg steak sandwich which was delicious. Prime rib, pepper jack, onions, pure perfection! At $7.99 that includes a bag of chips, great deal. My husband got their BLT and a bowl of tomato basil soup, homemade and so good. The owner is also your chef and your waiter. Love him. He was helpful and kind, and mentioned that we should get some to go cups for our ride back. Great food and great service. Can't wait to come back!

What a fantastic place run by some great people. Found this randomly while driving through to Denver. Great food that came fast and hot! Wonderful staff! If you're looking for a bite to eat go here!

If I'm ever back in this area, I'm definitely coming back to eat here. I had a turkey sandwich on sourdough which was accompanied by a small cup of homemade potato salad which was delicious. Hubby had a pastrami on rye which he loved. Great food and very friendly service!

What a gem! Tucked down a side street this deli was an excellent break from processed food. Quick in and out - or sit and eat. A must for a well made sandwich.

This place has great prices for delicious gourmet like sandwiches. We were struck by how detailed the chef was in preparing the food. We had the Italian sausage sandwich and kosher hot dog with homemade potato salad. Mmm.
