GREAT hot dog place! Perfect for a small lunch. They also had burgers on the menu. My husband had a regular dog with toppings (no extra charge for toppings). I had a spicy sausage dog with toppings... Try their special sauce, it's mustard based and really good! Canned cokes are only $1 here too. So we got out under $15 for the 2 of us which we thought was great. Ate outside at a table in the middle of the square (only a few seats at a bar inside). I would def go back again for a quick bite!

If you are in the mood for a great hot dog... ya gotta get one here! The restaurant is in Mountain Village but, there is also a cart off of Main Street in Telluride. we got a Chicago and a Polish. They were both perfect hot dogs and very authentic! Mmmmmm they really hit the spot!

The hot dogs here are probably the best you can find within a hundred mile radius.. Unfortunately the down side is having to deal with the surly owner, who just may be the soup nazi reincarnated. I'm not trying to be vindictive or hurtful but the man has a serious chip on his shoulder, or perhaps he's just burned out on tourism. He should turn counter service over to someone more affable, accommodating and patient with those new in town, rather than berating them.

The owner just found my original review here, and wrote. Not to flame me - but to say he's never had any complaints, sorry I had a sub-par experience, and invited me back for another try, complete with his phone number. If the owner cares enough to write when he discovers I had a highly average experience, then he probably cares enough to consistently serve a great dog. So - go ahead and give it a try. Maybe I happened to catch the shop in a rare off-day. Maybe not. Here's your chance : your review matters ...

I grew up in Chicago and I live in the area now and all I have to say is Diggity Dogs is as close to a TRUE chicago dog as they come... The owners Erick and Audrey are quite the pair! The Banter between them is as Funny as it gets.. I HIGHLEY recomend Diggity's... Good Food Good Price ... JD Telluride and Beyond !

This place is a wonderful oasis to the ever-bloated prices of mountain village. On top of that, it's a darn good dog! Two all beef dogs with chili & cheese and two sodas for under $15... Enough to feed two adults! I'm coming back tomorrow :)

I have been coming to Telluride for over 8 years and they have some of the best hot dogs in the country. Grilled to perfection and I always start my visit in Telluride with my Good Luck Hot Dog, I liked it so well I put it on my Web Site. I'll be there June 23 -27 for the Wine Festival and my mouth is droulling. Awesome place don't over look it.......
