Pesto Pizza = A-M-A-Z-I-N-G To be perfectly honest, I only chose to eat here because I thought they actually served Elk Pizza. After I found out they didn't, I decided to go with the Pesto Pizza because all of the other menu items didn't leap off the page & smack me around as much as the Pesto Pizza did. The wait was a little long but I'm thinking it was only because it smelled so good inside the restaurant. The aroma of spices, marinara, fresh baked pizza, etc made me drool a bit so I was filled with plenty of excitement by the time the pizza came out. I quickly discovered that a small was WAY too small for two people. We each had 2.5 slices each which did not suffice...especially since it was so DAMN GOOD! The slight saltiness of the Parma ham paired nicely with the slightly sweet roma tomatoes, and the subtle earthiness of the portabello mushrooms rounded out the wonderful flavor components of the pizza. There was also a perfect amount of pesto so the end result was a very pleased palate! PS. I ordered a large pizza to-go afterwards!

$20 for a pizza struck me at first but it's worth every penny; awesome crust, fresh ingredients, staff was very accommodating to our special needs! Highly recommend! Very pleasant experience in taste and overall!

Soggy veggie "hippie" pizza. Ordered take out. Included salad and no forks. I asked if they had paper plates, no response so you think the fork "lightbulb" would have gone off. Pizza needed forks too as so soggy. If you can, take gondola down to brown dog pizza in telluride.

we ordered several times from crazy elk as it was close and i have to say food is much better if you eat it there. Our pizzas at home were okay. but we enjoyed our pizzas and cheesy bread at the restaurant much better we had the meat lovers and the artichoke white pizza.

It's OK, great happy hour prices considering you can just about fall out of your skis into a table. Worth going if you don;t want to drive anywhere, super friendly staff.

I had been craving pizza for days when we decided to have lunch here. I'm not a thin crust pizza type of girl, but the flavors of our custom pizza were delicious. We ordered the margherita pizza, which if not my favorite in the first place but it was pretty good. We also got a pizza with black olives, garlic, and feta cheese. The pizza went fast, and I felt satisfied afterwards. It was pretty expensive for how little pizza we got, and our credit card was charged three times. They forgot to put feta cheese and garlic on half the pizza, which was a disappointment, and they advertised out front that there were salads and subs, but I didn't see them on the menu.

Loved this place. My friend JP brought us and spontaneously said, "How 'bout some anchovies on the pie?" "Hmmmmm, how 'bout anchovies on your half of the pie" I thought. OMG, the best anchovies I have ever had! I'm not keen on the little fishy guys on a pizza just because they are always little smelly strips of salty gummy stuff. Not these! Plump wide whole fillets that brought back memories of a fish platter in the beach in Italy years ago. Believe it or not, we had a Hawaiian[!] with the little swimmers on it and it was wonderful. Great service with a smile and wonderfully warm ambience. Easily my favorite restaurant in To-Hell-Your-Ride, I'll go back again and again ;-)

We were freezing and hungry when we wandered into this wonderful warm pizzeria. We ordered the Margherita pizza which was truly delicious! One of the best Margherita pizzas we have ever had. The staff were wonderful and friendly and the atmosphere was laid back and casual....great for children and families. Highly recommend if you are craving pizza.

We ordered the lone cone pizza which was ordinary, pretty good. The person working the cashier behind the counter, however, was rude and condescending and unfriendly to his customers' requests. I will not be returning.

Its a trashy pizza place. It's exactly what I wanted after a long long day of skiing. 20$ for a 16" pizza and a pitcher of cheap crappy beer. Lots o' tv's playing sports and friendly staff. The pizza was a trashy NY style pizza as well. not too bad :)

We picked up two large pizzas and ate them offsite. Overall the 'za was "OK" -- nothing to write home about, especially given the very high cost. We had a half-cheese/half-peperoni and a full supreme. The only reason I'd go back is if I was stuck in Mountain Village and really wanted pizza. If I had the time and really wanted pizza, I'd take the 13 minute gondola ride downtown and eat at either Brown Dog or Baked in Telluride; both are much better.

We were here for skiing from Phoenix and loved the pizza and salad. Our concierge at Mountain Lodge was very nice to pickup our order for us. We had a Carnivore pizza, pepperoni black olive and artichoke Canadian bacon...lots of meat and cheese and light on the sauce. The sauce itself was great - we don't like pizza places that smother on over-herbed sauce. Capprese salad was really awesome too. Will order from here again next ski season.

LOVE this place! Amazing Pizza! My girlfriend and I got a pizza, two salads, and 4 beers for $36. Not bad. The salads were fresh and tasty, and the pizza was some of the best I have ever had. I just wish they had more of a beer selection... Otherwise awesome place!
