Pretty good selection of vegetarian and gluten free items. I ordered to go a tomato fresh mozzarella and basil cold sandwich on focaccia bread Also bought a vitamin water and small bag of chips. A whopping $12 for lunch, a little pricey but the quality was good. Sandwich was ok but i probably won't get it again. Cute little cafe but hardly any seating.

Giving a place anything less than 3 stars, especially a locally owned place, gives me heartburn... but I can't with good conscience give this anything better. If you check out my reviews, you'll see how rare it is for me to ding a place like this. I was in town staying down the block and stopped in here on our first morning in town with high hopes for good coffee drinks and easy breakfast sandwiches. I guess that was asking too much. The breakfast sandwiches were barely edible. Bacon was inexplicably simultaneously overcooked (mostly black), yet with white fatty ends and was super chewy. The cheese slices were torched, resulting in them being more like plastic discs stuck to the sandwich than cheese. I'm guessing the sandwiches were assembled and then put through some sort of broiler? Eggs and bagels were ok at least. No one from our group liked their coffee. Chai latte was OK. We didn't go back to try any lunch fare. If you're in this end of town and really in need of something, it might be worth trying. Perhaps they'll get it together. The concept and location are perfect and just what the area needs. Service/staff was a bit soft, but that doesn't surprise me at these types of places.

Generally this is a great little place for lunch. I stopped in at 10:30 and asked if they could make sandwiches for a hike. Lunch normally doesn't start until 11, but the two other people in there were finishing up and they said they would do it. The counter person was lovely. When she gave my order to the cook, he said "Five F&*(ing sandwiches??" Very unprofessional.

My go-to sandwich shop! A quaint, simple, sandwich shop with quality ingredients and tasty sandwiches. A variety of drinks in one of the coldest fridges in town! I love my "cold" drinks cold! They have a couple of pre made salads and to-go items. The rest is made fresh and takes about 10 minutes or less. Aemono can fill up fast, but clears out quick. If full, Take a second to enjoy the mountain views and the next thing you know, you'll have some delicious food ready to be consumed!

A great place to hitch up to. I love the flank steak. The ginger in the kitchen seems really nice.

I stumbled on this place and glad that I did. It is on the far side of town (which means nothing in a town this small) so not a place you would see if you we're just shopping on Main Street. But it is well worth waking a block or two over to grab a delicious breakfast or lunch. They offer gluten free options which always wins my heart. And their menu is very fresh and healthy. Another bonus. I had their meatball sub and it was perfectly done - including plenty of delicious sauce. I will definitely be back!

Aemono catered to my crew of 2 vegetarians and 6 omnivores for a few challenging days recently and I had to make a point to let everyone know how delicious it was- every day! I know we asked them to do some strange things logistically that they probably haven't done before, but they were able to accommodate us, obviously. Tomato basil bisque delivered at 10,000 ft. was heartwarming. Breakfast burritos were waiting in the fridge when we woke. Dinners were things like a pesto gnocchi, on which everyone gorged. Oh and the brownies... Wow. Just, wow!

A small, modest (not fancy) place we were glad to find just a block from the free, all-day parking. Very fresh ingredients combined in creative, flavorful ways. The Chicken Caesar wrap was great.

Went in for a quick breakfast. Ordered a egg, potato & cheese burrito. They use some kind of egg substitute instead of real eggs. Ugh! The potatoes were not just potatoes but a messy mix withonion & some kind of salsa. I had asked for salsa on the side & wasn't told there was already salsa in the mix.The ingredients were not listed. Had I known, I would left the potatoes out. Service was not the speediest. There were 3 people in the kitchen & for a while I was the only customer, so I don't know why my order took so long.

Happened upon this place while looking for coffee. Iced coffee was good, chocolate muffin and falafel were excellent and fresh. Small cafe, not a lot of seating.
