We had family come in from out of town and stopped by our house last night to visit. We all felt like some really good pizza, so Abo's was at the top of our list. My husband called and order $75 worth of pizza to be delivered. When we got the order, it was wrong! We ordered a Hawaiian pizza (which is what so many people wanted) and it was not delivered. So, my husband called back to see if it was his mistake or Abo's. The man on the phone working for your company was VERY RUDE!!!! My husband said he didn't care whose mistake it was, he just wanted to order the Hawaiian pizza and would pay for even if it wasn't his mistake. The RUDE manager (whose name is Eric) took his card number again and ran it, said the order was complete. Then he RUDELY called back and said he would NOT be delivering the pizza! BUT WE HAVE BEEN CHARGED FOR IT!!!!!!! My husband said you must be joking! and your so called manager said no "I have the right to refuse service to anyone." When I heard of this, I was NOT happy and called Eric the so called manager myself to discuss the situation. When he answered the phone he was VERY RUDE AGAIN! I told him that he was very unprofessional and he really needs to learn respect for paying customers! I have never been treated so rudely by anyone before and will NEVER use Abo's again; I will also inform everyone in my neighborhood and everyone else I know to NEVER use Abo's! This company needs to spend a lot of time on training thei employees, especially their so called made up managers. VERY VERY upset with your Northglenn location.

Great NY style pizza. Check online/in the mail for coupons they send out. The hot wings could be spicier but they are still solid.

Good stuff. Not really any more expensive than what I'm used to for this type of pizza, about $3 per slice with pepperoni. Both visits have been outside of the lunch rush hours, so there's been no wait. Staff has been friendly on both visits. For those who look for it like I do, this is the true, thin crust, New York style, "fold-in-half-and-let-the-pepperoni-grease-drip-down-your-arm" kinda pie. Definitely recommend.

If you want a quick and tasty slice, this is the place to go. Low on frills, but high on flavor and a nice crispy crust!

I waited until I visited a number of times before writing this update. Since the Fall, Abo's is back on top of their game, so I am guessing their previous slide may have been due to Summer personnel changes. New blood is great and the girls that work there are cute as a button, but when I want pizza, eye candy does not satisfy the hunger. Thanks for continuing to be my favorite pizza in town.

We moved to the area recently and the apartment complex had them listed in the welcome packet, so we decided to give it a try. Needles to say this has been our go to pizza place for the past 6 months.

For the price the pizza is not worth the trip. Pizza is good but not that good. The people are very nice and customer service is very good too.

Expensive. But it's pretty dam good pie! Thin crust pepperoni with garlic or get the Mediterranean thin crust. You'll be pleasantly surprized after you get over the sticker shock! The other night I did the family package (large with 2 salads, +2L soda) and added a large Mediterranean,,, $49. Ouch. But it was a great meal and our guests really enjoyed it.

I am giving Abo's five stars because I brought in a groupon (I paid 10 bucks apiece for two individual groupons to get any specialty pizza, 18 inch.....they usually are above 21 dollars at regular price..) I have teenagers, so pizza is a good investment. Usually, when a business sees a groupon (in my experience so far) they whine, sneer, or make some sort of comment about how cheap you are...(really...city grille?) When in fact, I tip well...the amount before the groupon at a 20% tip....but I digress....the cashier actually was NICE.. I told her that this was our first try of their pies...and she actually seemed excited for us to try them. I wasn't disappointed. We ordered the chicken pesto pizza....firstly, it was so huge that the box would not fit into our fridge after we ate...there was enough pizza for three meals ! It had slices of tomato's, thinly sliced onions, extra cheese and of course, chicken. It was beautiful. One slice was as big as your head....and all that you needed. The crust was awesome. We have another groupon left, and we are going to try another specialty...and if that works out, Abos has our business for take-out pizza !

At first I was unhappy with Abos. We ordered a white pizza and mentioned to the girl taking the order 3 times that we wanted a "white" pizza. However, once we got home and opened the box we noticed they had made it with red sauce. Our mistake for not checking at the pizza shop but once we called back the owner immediately credited our account and the next time we came in we had ourselves a free pizza. VERY GOOD customer service and they made a delicious white pizza for us! I will definitely be coming back!!

We really enjoyed the slice! #2 daughter said it was the best pizza she ever had. Thin crust, nice sauce and great cheese made this a two thumbs up and we will definitely be back.

Really good until I found 2 really long black hairs in my pizza. One I didn't discovery until it was in my mouth. That kinda ruined Abos for me. Hair nets....use them.

4.5 stars! Not 5 only because it's not the best pizza of my LIFE, but definitely amazing. The crust is simply perfection (Gluten-Free options available). I've never had pizza where the cheese strings when you bite into it, but I found this pizza fun to eat. At age 30, I revel in childhood moments like that. I'm not a fan of red sauce in general but really liked the flavor and that it wasn't too saucy of a pie. Ordered an 18" pepperoni and Italian sausage, which is sliced like pepperoni - interesting and delicious! The boyfriend said this NY style pizza Is better than any he's had in New York.

I live in Northglenn, their service area. (They have a store in Northglenn.) I just called to order a pizza. They said they couldn't deliver because it was too cold. There was barely an inch of snow. Cold weather stops pizza delivery? Since when? Guess I'll order from Papa Johns.

Ordered pizza from here last weekend. It was pretty good. We got a large meat lovers. It was a pretty big large and a little expensive. My husband ordered 2 20oz diet cokes and when they delivered they brought us 2 2 liters because they were out of the 20oz. I thought that was pretty cool! We'd definitely order from here again!

Finally tried pizza and wings on my recent try new places kick. I wasn't real impressed with the wings, so wasn't expecting much from the super supreme pizza... glad I was wrong! Delicious pizza! abo's is definitely in my go to pizza places list now! Tastes fresh, massive slices and really friendly staff!

Pricey, but worth it! I love the thin crust. Their pizzas are huge, and they cut them in large slices, so we usually order a large and cut it smaller when we get home. That way, our family can get two nights of meals out of it. Their sauce is a little sweet, but their toppings are always fresh. Not sure who their sausage vendor is, but it's delicious! We also love their garlic knots; very flaky and stuffed with mozzarella cheese. They usually offer specials, so do ask when you order, and they'll give you a discount.

We recently moved to the neighborhood, and we've eaten at Abo's Pizza three times already. The food is excellent, and the service is relatively fast. Additionally, it's very well priced. We just had a medium pizza which was monstrous, and we paid under $18 before tip. This place is fabulous!

Awesome pizza. Moved to CO six months ago and have been trying to find something better than the usual chain restaurants. This was very good pizza and my new go-to.

Wife got a groupon so we tried out Abo's, which is just down the street from where we live. We ordered and they told us when the pizza would be done. We also ordered the garlic/cheese pizza stick things. Since we were taking it back to the house we showed up a few minutes early and the pizza was done right when they said it would be. We were home and inside within 6 minutes of the pizza coming out of the oven. Pizza needs to be fresh and hot. The pizza was good. The toppings were very tasty. The service was excellent and friendly. The problem is their dough is lacking flavor, it needs another day of curing or something. I would buy this pizza again because it's close and it's decent, but it's not as good as Double D's. Like I said, the dough has almost no flavor, which detracts from the whole experience.

Very good pizza, a little pricey and the dough is kind of flavorless, but the sauce and toppings are wonderful and always well made.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
