This place is like stepping into a small, mountain town bar that's hours & miles away from Denver. You really feel like you're in another world when you're here, especially with the variety of patrons that visit this establishment. Drinks are cheap, there's often live entertainment, and if you leave here doing the speed limit, you're home free. Come and take a "vacation" here some night!

I don't know what it's like for a bar, but for lunch, its a joke. The woman served multipke prties ahead of us, and then when it was our turn to order told us she had to start cooking instead. We walked out of 2 places in Morrison, this was the first b

Really neat little bar in Morrison! Great beer selection, awesome bartender and a really low key vibe. This was a great spot to stop after hiking. You can order food from a partner restaurant and eat it inside, but the bar itself only serves snacks. I enjoyed this spot for a cold beer and hanging out with my friends. Nothing fancy, but we felt totally comfortable in our hiking gear.

Is this the best place for a pre or post Red Rocks show drink? I think so. Honestly though, it's probably awesome for drinks (and burgers, let's not forget those) any time. Sir Nicholas and I stopped here on our way to see Ryan Adams just a few weeks ago and I was really impressed with how much local goodness they stock. Not only did they have Colorado beers, but they also carried local spirits and even a couple of local wines. That was definitely more than I was expecting. The food ordering had to be explained to us as they don't actually make and serve the food; rather it comes from Mill Street Eats, which is attached. You basically go through the adjoining doorway, place your order, get a number, and the food place brings your order to you. However, you don't have to clean up or take your stuff back to the food place as the bartenders do that for you. Also, you guys, tater tots. TATER TOTS. They are one of my true food loves and I will eat.them.all.right.now.please.and.thank.you. The burgers we ordered were fantastic, too. Other things of note: + There isn't table service so if you sit at a table you still have to go to the bar. + Live music, woot! + Patio sitting, woot! + Happy hour until 7, woot! + There's a parking lot in the back of the building. I'm really happy that Nick and I stopped in for a burger and we will definitely have to head back the next time we are in the area!

The local PD recommended this place. It ended up being a great place to stop for a drink and a bite after our hike. Good eats, lots 'o drinks, TVs, and casual atmosphere. Note: there is no table service, so you have to order your drinks at bar and run next door to order food separate, although runners bring your food. Burgers very reasonably priced and tasty (other food options too). Good selection of drinks...and they even have Moscow mules in authentic mugs. I'll go back!

Quality burgers, cheap drinks during happy hour! It was my moms birthday and they gave her a drink for free, great service and atmosphere. Thanks!

Loving the functional alcoholics that frequent this place. Beers are reasonable. Patio is decent. Divey but not too creeptacular. Order at the bar if you want any sort of timely drink orders. Waitresses are no where to be found when you need a drink but damn they keep those ashtrays cleaned out.

Four stars for the bar! No stars for the food, but I don't want to take away from how wonderful this bar is. I've been here a number of times. Tried the food for the first time. Had a burger and it was really bad. Reminded me of a cafeteria burger. I was starving so I forced 1/2 of it down. Again - go for the bar, the music, the fun, the craziness. Eat somewhere else!

The owner of Morrison Holiday Bar, Dave, is extremely rude! He is especially rude to women. Perhaps he does not know how to talk nicely to people, but since he is in the business of serving the public he should know. The first time I just thought he was drunk, but then the second time he was just stupid rude. I'm sure the rest of the poor staff that must work with him just take his rudeness to have a job. I would not give the rude man my business.

It's know wondering that they have you pay for your food first, I would have walked out and went somewhere different. It took forever to get our food. 45min for 2 sandwiches. And know one said sorry or even let us know way it was taking so long. the only good thing was the bar. nice people and good beer.

This has always been one of my favorite places in Morrison. I used to work in this town so I found myself here often after business hours. It's just a great little neighborhood biker bar with friendly people. They will always make you welcome. I hadn't visited in awhile until recently and see they've made a lot of great changes. There's a lot more space in the back, along with a huge covered patio with a fire pit that is the smoking section...if you really need to smoke. My sister does, that's why I know that. Ugh. Anyway, the next time you're in Morrison, perhaps after hiking around Red Rocks, you should stop by and relax with a beer.

This was my first experience in a Morrison bar; The Holiday is definitely a friendly dive with good prices for drafts. Chill atmosphere and fun place to hang!

Went on a whim from a recommendation made by a friend and was not disappointed. The bar food was good and the ambiance was great. Good people in a beautiful area of the country. Do not miss it. Oh yeh...Adam the bartender made some great recommendations on what to see in the area (Red Rocks Park just up the road).

This is a nice, local place to hang out. I love coming here when I want to get out of "town," but don't want to venture too far from the city. The people that hang out there are pretty cool and nice, and the bikers frequent it. They have a back enclosed patio area with a fire pit which I love, also pool and darts! Cool, chill place.

Well, this was bullshit. Sunday beer special listed as Batch19,$3. Sat down, asked if it was Batch 19 night. They said it was and we had four. Comes the check, $18. Oh, what is this? Well, that is for a 12oz plastic cup, the special. Thanks for telling me that- now. Very deceiving. You lost me as a customer. Will not be back. As an addendum here. When my credit card bill came I saw I was charged $36 for this bill. Got it all ironed out OK. But if you go here, keep an eye on that bill.

Awesome place. I went on a night with live music and it was great! Perfect for a date since it's small and they have tables. The bartender was great. He took care of us and even put in a few good words for me...and he didn't even know me! Cool guy. I'll be back, for sure.

Not bad at all. I love their margaritas and their poopoo plater is awesome. The prices are a little steep but the patio level makes up for it.

I have been going to the Holiday on and off for a lot of years. It's a friendly bar with a rustic mountain flair that's just the kind of place I like. They fill your draft beer to the brim and they have good live music in the evenings. The people there are down to earth and I always enjoy myself when I go there. Just a damn good little bar.

This is a pretty cool place in downtown Morrison. It seems like a locals joint with a number of bikers parading through as well. The bar has character, the bartenders provide good service, prices are good, and there's a patio in the back as well. They've got a few TVs showing sporting events, a stage for live music and they were having a poker tournament there while we were there to watch some football as well. Overall, a really cool spot I'd frequent more often if I lived in the area.

Having recently moved to the Morrison area I've had the pleasure of stopping by the Holiday Bar on a couple of occasions. This place reminds me of any number of bars in Northern Minnesota where locals and people up from the city on vacation hang togather. A very friendly, laid back place to be. Decent beer selection and no pretentions. Last time I was there we were invited to share a table with a bunch of bikers, who just happened to be Country Club members that were there drinking with the groundskeeper...good times. MHB = 35% Bikers + 30% Cow Folk + 15% Tourists + 10% cheap drinks = 100% Good Times...

We live in Evergreen and frequent Morrison quite a bit. This was our first time at the "MHB" and we enjoyed it. It was a little quiet the night we went, but all were friendly and accomodating. It was Karaoke night (I'm a singer) and everyone seemed to leave when it started. No one sang (not even me) so we just left. Hope this isn't how it is all the time during Karaoke, cause Karaoke can be so much fun!!

If you like to find non-touristy bars in a touristy town, this is it! My friend always liked to go to the pretty famous Morrison Inn, which also has a nice patio, but one time they were closed for some reason. We wandered around and found this place. It is very local, one of those places where everyone, mostly cowboys, give you the once over when you come in, but after a couple of drinks everyone was really friendly. I would visit every couple of months and some of the bartenders and clientele would remember me. I smoke, so I especially like this place, as they have an enclosed patio with fireplaces and heaters, which is great in December in Colorado! Also, they had a really fun Halloween party, live bands on weekends too
