I just spent a night and two days at this wonderful place with my class of 8th graders. And for such a short amount of time, it was incredibly fun! The team-building activities were fun. The facilitators worked hard to help the kids learn important life lessons that came up through each struggle. The food is soooo good! They have a great cafeteria with lots of choices and deliciously fresh fruits and veggies. The high ropes challenge course was an incredible experience for the kids /and/ me! The facilitators were again so supportive as we all faced our fears and worked to push ourselves. The zipline was so fun! Something we all appreciated as a staff was how well the Ponderosa staff worked to remember names. It made the kids feel really good to know they were important enough to remember. The cabins we stayed in were wonderful. The bathroom facilities were plenty for our group. I was impressed with the space. It was great for the students. This was a great place, and I hope our school uses it again.
