Good Pho spot. The broth wasn't quite as flavorful as I would have liked it to be but otherwise it was quite good. I was able to introduce a coworker to pho for the first time and he enjoyed it as well and he even ordered the same as I did complete with tendon and tripe!

Our family stopped in for lunch and had a large mix of spring rolls, crispy rolls, noodle bowls, pho, and drinks. Everything was exceptionally flavorful and fresh. They had ample healthy kids' choices and served our meals with about $10 of fresh herbs as garnishes/sides. My medium pho was enormous and full of meat and noodles--I'm not sure what portion size issues other reviewers have had. This is my family's new favorite spot in Monument!

This used to be my go-to pho spot in the C Springs area. Service WAS awesome and food and portions were excellent. But Pho 82 seems to be reconsidering their portioning. The bowls seem a bit smaller than they once were and they have begun to skimp on the meat, too. It seemed that their crispy rolls have been minimized, too. Which wouldn't bother me so much if their prices didn't increase. The pho is still good by colorado springs standards though the broth is inconsistent. Sometimes it's top notch, other times it's over salted or under seasoned. Their crispy rolls are delish. If you need a fix, this pho stop will do in a pinch. But, over the past 3 months, I've been increasingly disappointed.

I was so happy to see that a Vietnamese restaurant had opened in a prominent location in Monument- you can see the sign from I-25! And they're open every day! Plenty of easy parking on a Sunday afternoon (Broncos were playing, so we were the only ones in there for awhile). We were immediately greeted by a nice young fellow who indicated we could sit anywhere we liked. As he left to get us waters, I admired the clean and airy interior. Unlike most of the other Vietnamese restaurants in Colorado Springs, this business appeared to be the first occupant of this particular strip mall unit; that, or the previous tenant didn't last long. Everything appeared to be new: from the varnished tables to the cushioned booths to the neutral walls and high ceiling to the cashier counter to the bathroom. In fact, theirs is probably the nicest bathroom I've seen at any Vietnamese restaurant. A large flat screen TV hung on one wall in the dining room, tuned in to football. The hot Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk tasted as expected. It stood out among other places because the server left us extra hot water in our own metal teapot to pour over the remaining grounds in our little press. And even the glass mug was larger and nicer than I'm accustomed to. We ordered crispy pork egg rolls and a small bowl of Pho Tai Nam, all to share. I enjoyed the variety of the crisp, fresh vegetables accompanying the egg rolls (cilantro, mint, pickled carrots, green leaf lettuce) and the bed of noodles was the right amount and had been cooked properly. They all arrived on an actual plate - not just a plastic red basket that most of the other VN restaurants use. The egg rolls themselves had good flavor, but the shell seemed off. The initial crunch was satisfying, but as we got through the next few bites, there was a strange sticky, chewy factor. It didn't ruin the dish for me, but the texture was still a little of a let-down. The Pho was pretty good. What I like about Pho is that there are always slight variations depending on the style of the cooks. This one had a component added to the fragrance that I couldn't quite identify. When the owner realized we were sharing, she brought out two extra bowls and utensils to divide the soup. There were lots of rice noodles and plenty of thinly sliced meat, though I wished the meat was slightly more pink. The Small is a great introductory-size and it was $5.95. The soup spoons alone deserve 5 stars: though they were a hardy plastic (not porcelain), I LOVED the hook on the end so you could rest it on the side of the soup bowl and it would not slide and disappear into the brothy void. The washable chopsticks were another fun element: bright neon green that added to the fresh ambiance of the eatery. Service was good and friendly. The young man shared duties with a gal who I assumed was the owner. Both checked on us numerous times and kept our waters filled. Before we left, another female staffer came up to our booth to find out where we came in from and thanked us for coming in. Everyone was just really nice. It was worth the drive to check out. Perhaps if we're on I-25 and are suddenly struck by a Vietnamese food craving, we'll stop at Pho 82!

I went back to give their appetizers a chance and I'm disappointed to see that the spring rolls don't have any grilled pork in it and only a few pieces of shrimp. There was definitely a moment when I looked down at the end of my roll and saw only lettuce and rice noodle. Womp womp womp fail.

Amazing food! The crispy egg rolls were so good and so was the pho!!!!! The service was very fast and polite. I will be back for more soon!

Their pad thai is to die for!! Crispy rolls are good too but the order is tiny (2 rolls cut in half, not 4 rolls!) Good fresh food & decent service. Definitely recommend this place.

Came with a large group which pretty much took up the whole middle seating area. But it didn't quite fit us all so we split up which seemed to irritate the manager (Asian lady). Note we were the only customers at the time of dinner 6pm. She took the first group's order then the 2 group. She took her sweet time to ring up the orders. We had to get the American servers attention to take the 3rd groups order. The pho in itself was C rate at best, broth was warm (not Luke warm), tasteless in which I basically covered my broth with sriracha sauce. Barely any meat (combination). Food was bought out to use in which we had to ask the server for utensils and the Asian lady even forgot to make a boba drink which she took the order for. The boba drinks were watery and not to refreshing. One thing I did noticed that I seemed odd was that they charge an additional $2 for extra meat in the platter plates. So it was choose 2 grill meat for either the rice platter or noodle bowl.

Very good Vietnamese food, really hope it is successful. New restaurants in this small community have an up hill fight to gain the hearts of the locals. Be sure to ask for soy sauce, they have plenty behind the counter, it really annoys the owner !

I've only had the pho, but what I've had is great! I like to add broccoli to my pho, and Pho 82 has never put up a stink about me adding JUST broccoli. The broth for the pho is great, I've had some pretty awful pho broth in my past. The staff is always very friendly, and the facilities are always clean! Reasonable prices for lunch and dinner. For take out they always give you every thing need to put together your soup at home.

Just left the place from ordering takeout. Experienced the same rude experienced as others. I think the woman behind the counter is the owner's mom. I felt like I was bothering her from entering stuff into the computer. She saw that I was ready to order but I still had to wait a while until she's finished. When the food was ready, the food was almost thrown across the counter. WTF?? There wasn't a thank you for coming or anything. The pho is alright here. Nothing special. I probably won't be back again.

  • Shabu H.

Rude service, take out order was wrong, ordered large pho which was a complete joke (in terms of size), and also the wrong meat. Also ordered grilled chicken and rice platter which was this tasteless rubber cutlet that was over cooked. Beware they charge you for ANYTHING extra. Broth was mediocre. Just a disappointing experience. Would give minus 5 stars if I could.

  • Jennell V.

Terrible service very rude she threw my food at me and my son it was the wrong order it had tripe in it I asked for the number 6 she brought another bowl out it still had tripe in it I'm afraid to send my food back as I'm afraid of what will else will come back in it if you want good pho soup and great service pho 777 in Castle Rock is the bomb I will never come here again. And the only reason I give it one star is because I don't know how to take it off

Staff seemed bothered by our presence. Server let out a huge sigh of dissatisfaction when asked for extra tofu. Pho was mediocre. I would rather go somewhere else; where I feel welcome.

  • Homeof A.

Too bad the owners felt the need to buy "grilled" meats, chicken and seafood. Which neither taste grilled or as good as fresh and unprocessed. We hate processed foods! All in all, I'd pay a lot more to have food that is premium. I'd rather cook at home then go here. Such a shame.

Posted hours Friday are until 8:30. Showed up at 8:00 and was told kitchen was closing so I could only order to go. Go figure? I've eaten here several times. Food is ok. Atmosphere is blah. People are nice enough.

Good pho! Good food other than pho too. The spring rolls are super good. The service is good, it's never super packed here, so it's kind of relaxing. The staff isn't incredibly friendly. They smile, make eye contact, sometimes, but that's about it. It's definitely not bad $ wise either! Overall, it's between 3 and 4 stars! Oh and the portions are fair, I mean the small could probably feed 2 people.

  • Mrs A.

Disappointing. I was so very excited to see Pho in town! Then I ate there. I don't know how to describe the food other than bad. Grilled meat? There were grill marks, but the meat was NOT grilled nor fresh. The staff was nice and setting was clean.

My son and I just spent about a week in the area and ate at Pho 82 several times. We really like the food. I brought my own gluten free Hoisin sauce every time:) I also loved being able to watch the World Cup on their TV each time. The grilled chicken is amazing.

This is NOT Saigon Cafe in co springs for sure. This is Over priced mediocre food at best. I ordered a combination noodle bowl that was less than desirable, meat tasted like it was day old. Terrible.

Great little place for some delicious noodle bowls and pho! (And reasonably priced too) the veggie spring rolls and crispy rolls were both fantastic. Definitely recommended for a casual lunch or dinner.
