This is hands-down the best breakfast place you will find in Loveland, both in quality and value. No other restaurant has as many egg dishes than this. All their menu items are both creative and full of flavor. On top of that, they are made from scratch using fresh ingredients. They also make a hollandaise sauce that is out of this world! Seriously, if I order an egg benedict anywhere else, it always tastes like feet in comparison to the Egg and I. If you are heading there for your first time, I would recommend either one of their egg benedicts or their green chili chicken hash. Also, make sure you try the hazelnut coffee.

Decent Benedicts with mediocre hollandaise. Service in the Loveland location leaves much to be desired, maybe it needs better more friendlier management to help the staff be friendlier? I don't go here much anymore, but used to when the service was better.

Our teen daughter did not like eating here because the pancakes and french toast were made of whole wheat, and she does not care for whole wheat when eating pancakes or french toast (either do I). The menu does not give an option for regular pancakes or regular white bread for the french toast. The waitress said the owner opted to only sell whole wheat, but if he (or she) is trying to show some sort of healthy side, he or she needs to eliminate the butter and syrup too. That is where all the fat comes from. Anyway, most people when they are in the mood for pancakes and french toast prefer not to eat it in whole wheat, and even if some do, there should be an option on the menu for those who do not care for whole wheat. Other than that, the omelet was good, and the Mexican egg dish, but won't return due to the pancakes/french toast being made of only whole wheat.

I always leave satisfied! The food is consistently good. Eggs are always perfect, and my iced mocha is always perfect. Waitresses are friendly and you never have to wait long for your order. Love that they remodeled.

I generally love the egg & I, but the one here in loveland seems to run things a little differently then what I'm use to. The meal was phenomenal as always. But the service was so so. Usually our server is super excited and warm (which is nice in the mornings!!) but today she just wanted us in and out. And I'm just saying that $3.09 for 6 oz of OJ is just not okay with me. At ANY other location they have always given me an actually large glass for the same price. 6 oz is a small, go anywhere, it's a small. That bothered me, but it probably wouldn't have if my server connected better and checked on us more often. I have no issue paying for service when it's deserved. I will be back here, and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. But three stars is all they deserve today.

Best Breakfast in Loveland! The crab cake Benedict is an absolute hit! Service is great and fast!

First of all, the restaurant was clean and the service good. The food, however, was mediocre at best. I had the vegetable Benedict and, although it was lovely to look at it and the poached egg was perfect, it was ruined by hollandaise that was obviously from a mix. My husband had hash that was greasy and not the least brown...a disappointment.

Hair in the raspberry granola pancake plate and not comped? All I get is just a card for $5 off next time that expires in four weeks?! bad service. Aside from "meh" food. For breakfast in northern CO, better places than this.

Frittata cooked perfect. Great raisan toast and fruit options appreciated. Nice greeter and friendly waitress. Perfect meal.

In the mood for breakfast or brunch? That's what The Egg & I focuses on, and they do it VERY well. I never knew eggs could be prepared in so many diverse ways, but everything they do here tastes fantastic! The portions are generously sized and fairly priced (except for a glass of milk, but that seems to be the norm for restaurants). The bill for my wife and I typically comes to $20-$25. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Simple yet attractive decorations are used throughout, and soft music plays in the background. It's a quiet, relaxing way to start your day. Sadly, there is no Egg & I near my home... so every time I travel to a place where one is located, I always organize the trip so that I'll have time for a few visits. Yes, this place is _that_ good.

The food was so good. I'm still thinking about the pumpkin Pecan waffles and the pumpkin spice coffee. I believe what I got was called the Colorado scramble. It was soooo good. I can't wait to go back.

one of my favorite, if not my favorite breakfast burrito spot! huge breakfast burritos. one less star because it seems like they had a longer wait than I liked, but still had booths available.. perhaps a shortage of waiters?

I don't know what it is but this Egg & I is better than the rest we've been to! As always - cambridge skillet is the best.

Traveled to Loveland for a wedding. Stopped at this place for breakfast based on recommendations. This place is for reals. Goo-ood breakfasts. The eggs Benedict fanatic gave theirs three thumbs ups. The vegetarians in the crowd swooned over the choices. Coffee was good and plentiful. Wait staff friendly and attentive. I could eat here everyday just to try everything on the menu.

Always great food and fast friendly service! If you like breakfast, you'll love this place. My family loves to eat here and you can easily share a couple dishes amongst a table of four. We like to order a whole wheat pancake (the thing is huge), the breakfast burrito or breakfast croissant, and a breakfast skillet with ham and mushrooms with a side of hollandaise. Oh, and you can't forget the fresh squeezed orange juice!

Great place with friendly, efficient staff and yummy food. Love their asparagus mushroom frittata! Pancakes are huge and fluffy. We are very picky and no problem preparing our meal as we like. We are devoted to egg & I.

Cute little house converted into a restaurant, or at least that's what it appears to be. Elderly staff were very pleasant and helpful, and this is incredibly refreshing for me since the norm is a bunch of entitled & self-absorbed Millennials. Food was tasty, especially the French toast. OJ was delicious. Prices were reasonable. Worth the stop if you're in Loveland.

Great place for brunch or breakfast! One of the best Denver omelets I've had. Easily the best place for breakfast in Loveland.

Food and service is always great. I especially like the mexican skillet and my children get a great meal (with drink) for $4.95.

Disappointed and unsatisfied is how we left this morning. We actually stopped at a bagel place on the way home to get something to satisfy our lingering hunger, which was frustrating after spending $35 at Egg and I. The service was fine, not great or super-friendly but not terrible: functional. Waitress forgot my request for no sauce on my meal so it got sent back, and husband finished most of his meal before I even got mine. We noticed the plates they use really make you feel like you are being gypped out of food; there is a lot of empty space. The food tasted good, but not great. We used to go every few months but it has been a few years since we were there. My husband got something he used to order all the time and they have changed it and he said it just isn't the same, was so-so. I got something I'd never gotten before and it was good, but not filling. Our toddler munched on a blueberry muffin and when I tasted it I was not impressed. It was mostly spongy, air-filled, and without much taste. I thought it was sub-par. We agreed we won't go here again, which is unfortunate since we like to stick with local places.

A breakfat oriented restaurant. Good food and service with unusual and varied menu options.
