The pineapple soft serve swirl is quite refreshing. The malts and shakes are good too. When it comes to soft serve ice cream, you have to strike a balance between sweetness and creaminess so as to not make you feel thirsty or bloated. Dairy Delite seems to strike that balance quite well. Get your fill during the summer because this place does not open during the winter. I cannot believe I actually drive up from Longmont just for a soft serve cone. OTOH, the long drive gives me an excuse to eat two cones without the quilt.

We were excited they were open in April, but very dissappointed with the hamburgers. Last year they were really, really good. This year they tasted like a frozen patty from SAM's club. Please bring back the good burger!!

Here's a little review to get your mouth watering in anticipation, as they closed for the winter as os November 15th, 2014. They'll be open again sometime in the spring! I do like that they close for winter; it seems so small-town and old-fashioned, and I'm sure it gives residents and locals (and visitors) something to look forward to. I have a tradition of visiting Dairy Delite with my mom and stepdad whenever I come to Loveland to visit them; it's our after-dinner treat, and it's one of those places that's always very consistent in its staff, offerings, and prices. You'll find local high-schoolers (who are actually polite and well-trained) working here, along with some adults (who appear to be owners/operators), for a real "family feel." The interior ordering counter, inside/outside picnic tables, and type of food and ice cream they offer all remind me of a classic soft serve and hot dog stand, kind of like a locally-owned DQ-type establishment. The great thing here is also their variety of frozen treats, from fresh-tasting and delicious soft serve, to their whipped-up "Blizzard"-like treats, to dipped cones, and of course hot dogs and some other oven-warmed items. The prices are inexpensive and the quality is consistent. Everyone from toddlers who will barely finish a kid-size cone to ice cream-ravenous adults such as myself who will happily polish off a large chocolate-vanilla swirl cone or pumpkin spice shake will find something tasty here. The location, parking, and service are all convenient, and it's a fun place to hang out and enjoy your ice cream in the summer months.

I haven't been to dairy delight in years I love the soft cones dipped in chocolate the girls behind the counter for very friendly and the prices were good

Old school place for ice cream and American fare. Chi dogs are close, steam the bun and it will be even closer. Italian beef is more of a French Dip and not close to the real thing

We recently went here to mix things up a bit. We eat a lot of ice cream and I think this place has the best in Loveland. I'm sort of a stickler for organization, efficiency and tidiness ...caught myself looking around this place and noticing this and that but the ice cream was amazing. Looking forward to more summer nights here!

DD is a Loveland tradition. Its a place I would bring my kids back to if I moved out of state. Its a part of my childhood I will never forget! If your trying to figure out what they are my best description is a Dairy Queen where everything is twice as good and cheaper. Their food is even decent. I used to get their chicken sandwich all the time and I loved it! And its hard to find a place that has an original Galagza and pack man machine!

Ha, the best place for ice cream in Northern Colorado. This is old school and it is soooo good. The staff is always friendly and it is nice to see younger folks virtually running the place. We will always go here for ice cream when in the area. The only complaint is that it is not open al year round - but that's just selfish.
