Have you tried the Steakhouse Mac N Cheese.....holy smokes...it's Gouda good! As far as Outbacks this was consistent with other Outbacks. Service was good, steak was perfectly cooked as ordered. Drinks from the bar took slightly longer then expected but everything else came out in a timely matter. This location sits in a parking lot shared by hotels and to our pleasant surprise on a Friday night at 6:30 there was not wait.

Normally, I'm pretty against coming to outback because the most immediate thought I have when outback is uttered is... meat. As an ex-vegetarian, I've been conditioned to have a negative response towards the idea of a very protein heavy meal. But, as half of my family is carnivorous men, I was coerced into dining here. However, I was pleasantly surprised! I ordered the sesame salad with salmon and it was superb. The dressing was tangy, but in a very excellent way (as I am not one with an affinity for sour things or the like). The salad was vibrant with various vegetables and the salmon was moist and not bland at all as a lot of restaurants serve too dry and fibrous fish. The portion size was considerable and I absolutely had to take a to-go box home. But I left the restaurant with all smiles, feeling very pleased with my light and healthy, but delicious dinner. I also sampled my family members' dishes to try get a taste of the super meaty outback experience. Chicken isn't too awesome here. Dry and layered with greasy cheese. Steak was passable. Not chewy, which is a pet peeve of mine with red meat. I actually found the ribs to be an entree I could envision myself ordering in the future though! Super juicy. Unfortunately, our waitress appeared subtly crabby and the restaurant atmosphere is oddly very dark and cheesy western style... But overall, outback exceeded my (initially low) expectations in the food category! 3.5 star if I could~

Extremely friendly staff I ordered the steak salad with the dressing on the side. It was delicious! .

Very clean and professional establishment. Staff was super friendly. Had a minor issue that was promptly addressed by our waitress and remedied by the floor manager to our complete satisfaction. Because of the service we received, we will definitely return.

The crab and avocado stack was not good. My hubby had a drink that had so much ice there was not much drink. I liked the filet mignon and the Mac n cheese but I probably won't be going back and I would definitely recommend that one pass on any seafood here in the future.

Very disappointing! Ordered a Steak Salad online for take-out. Took it back to my hotel and found no utensils or napkins. The steak and bread were great and could be eaten with my fingers but I had to throw away the salad. What a waste!

Decent food. Poor service. Worst Outback experience I've had. We like the chain, but won't return to this location.

Robear and I went for first time and it was yummy. 8 ounce filet with mushroom sauce was awesome. Crab mushrooms were ridonculously tasty. Mini shakes are perfect size. Service was very good. Great first experience.

Don't get me wrong, the food was great! It was the service we received that is forcing me to take two stars away. My husband and I normally receive great customer service at a chain restaurant, but this one was a huge miss. After finding out the movie we wanted to see was sold out, we just wanted something hearty to eat on a Saturday evening. As we were looking for a parking spot, we noticed a big crowd waiting at the door. It didn't bother us to wait 30 minutes because it was expected on a weekend night. Luckily, there were two seats open at the bar so we decided to grab a drink. We sat down and the bartender took about five minutes just to acknowledge us. 'Hey, I'll be right with you guys.' would've been nice. After a couple of drinks, we got our table. The server was too slow at everything it seemed like. He seemed to be working harder, not smarter. He would make three separate trips when he could've achieved them all in one clean sweep. This was way too apparent because I could see everything he was doing. Instead of taking care of other things while the drinks were being made, he would wait for them to be made at the bar.... Either he lacked common sense or had terrible training. The only factor that made this situation tolerable was because he was apologetic for everything. He was nice, but extremely inefficient. I wish I can give them a higher rating, but it's also the overall experience that is very important to customers.

Evan and Brandy were tending bar tonight! Thank you for all you do, you guys are the best! For all you ungrateful people complaining about the outback, go somewhere else.

Our waitress entered our order wrong. Both steaks were ordered medium rare and one was rarer than rare and one was medium. The steak and Shrimp combo came out without the shrimp, then our waitress took another tables appetizer order of shrimp and gave it to us (we heard the manager yell at her about it). We them got charged for the appetizer we didn't order and when told about her mistake our waitress said "Well what do you want me to do about it". The manager then basically accused me of lying about not ordering the appetizer, and then the waitress was gone with our credit card for over 10 minutes (leading me to think it might be a good idea to cancel my card) and when she came back, she made sure to tell us we'd gotten her in trouble. But hey, the manager did comp one meal after I managed to convince him that I wasn't lying.... Horrible

If I could give half of a star I would! I read yelp reviews but I've never disliked a place so much to sign up for yelp to say how awful of an experience I've had. I love outback for those days where I don't want to cook.. and I don't want to go out, out. I've been to this l location enough times to say it is by far the worst restaurant in the Lafayette, Louisville area. The last time I had a good experience here was August 2010. Its gotten worse and worse since then. I won't go here to this location ever again. The staff is awful and in turn so is the food. Hire a new manger or get the old one back.

Jack is the best waiter I think I've ever had. He enjoys his job and it shows. Definitely ask for Jack when you eat here.

This place deserves a big "meh". I've never been a huge fan of Outback, but I went here for dinner with my friend's family. First off, the waitress put bread on our table and forgot to give us butter, leaving us with an empty butter dish. Then she forgot two of the sides that one of us ordered. I ordered the cheeseburger, and it was put together very sloppily with the meat half on my burger, and the cheese on the other half (come on guys, it's pretty hard to screw up stacking a burger). The meat was mediocre, didn't really have any flavor to it. The regular fries and the sweet-potato fries were pretty good though. I guess that's what I get for opting out of getting a steak at a steakhouse.

If you're in the mood for a chain-restaurant-quality steak, Outback Steakhouse is definitely the place to go. It's more casual than a fancy steakhouse and definitely better for steaks than the nearby Chili's. I have taken my parents here twice and we haven't had a bad meal or bad experience yet.

Not as good as it used to be, but I don't eat steak & I visit the Outback Steakhouse, so maybe I'm asking for a bad experience. My family frequents this Outback fairly regularly, but after seeing the newly renovated decor, I was highly disappointed in the quality of the food. My wife commented that the rednecks seem to be the majority of the customers at this restaurant. Now for the food: The Kookaburra wings were too fatty. The french fries were soft when served. The salmon tasted somewhere below good (I don't know how to describe it other than that). We had only gotten the salad 3 minutes before the meal, so my wife wasn't finished before it came. My salad that was ordered with dressing on the side came with the dressing underneath the salad. I don't get that? The sweet potato & the salad tasted very good & the service people were friendly. My grandfather also seemed to enjoy his steak.

This Outback is like any other, so expect a typical mid-grade steak experience. Being in the heart of Colorado, I would normally expect a prime slab of tasty moo meat, but this is a chain restaurant, complete with chain food. My overall experience was average. It's neither a quiet, romantic snuggle spot, nor a bustling burst of energy. My server was polite, but seldom dropped by, and didn't refill my drink at all. I don't blame her - I'd lose my enthusiasm if I worked there.

After seeing the new commercial for the lobster tails & sirloin we went to check it out. I have been to many before, just not in CO. First we did call ahead seating. Quoted 25 min and when we got there still had to wait about 10 more. Got seated and waited about 5 minutes for our waitress to come. My food was good, but my steak was dry (should have ordered medium instead of medium well) and it had WAY too much of the spice. Why not send it back? Because while we got our salads and bread quickly it took FOREVER to get the food and I was starving. Mom ordered the same thing and loved it. Their carrot cake was pretty good as well. My mom also liked her Merlot. Overall, I would go back but not during the rush as that was a ridiculous amount of time to wait for my food.

Great waitstaff, good, consistent quality food, GREAT happy hour. They have small-sized steaks available, and serve sweet potatoes and beautiful vegetables. Tip though: they put butter on everything ... steaks, burgers, salmon, veggies, etc. if you want you can order anything "light". Wish they had some lighter appetizers, but can't complain about the free bread. One of my favorite casual places. UPDATE: They changed their happy hour recently from half price on certain drinks to 2 for 1; not happy about that because it means I can't have three for $9 and change, which is just enough, I have to order--and pay for-- four at $12, or stop at two. I don't want four, so they've just priced themselves out of my $3. It's lost a bit of the luster for me, but I'll give them until the end of the summer to see if they go back. They have really good-value steak combos, though.

I like the lounge here for happy hour drinks(4-6pm). Staff is fun and I like to party! I usually get some kukaburra wings(my favorite hot wings in town), and a few house margaritas. The Ribeye (chargrilled) is the way to go if you want a tasty steak and the Blue Cheese Pecan chop salad is great with it. Cheers Mate!

At this Outback Steakhouse you get... exactly what you'll get at any Outback Steakhouse, for better and worse. They've got good steaks and of course the famous Bloomin' Onion. But is there anything unique about it? You'll get a cheaper steak here than at local places, but not the same quality. Give me a local steakhouse any day. But, of course, sometimes relatives visit from back east and, well, they love their chains.

Yes, this outlet is part of the major chain. No, it is not on a par with other members of the chain I have sampled in CA, OR, WA, NC, MS. It is extremely convenient for travelers staying at the Courtyard Boulder-Louisville - just walk across the drive to it, and it does room service in the hotel. Convenience doesn't save the food, though. I dined in the restaurant and ordered the 18oz Porterhouse "Melbourne", and requested it medium-well. I had to stab it a few times to make sure is was dead - hardly beyond rare! The other great thing about Outbacks are the fabulous steamed veggies - especially the broccoli. So I ordered a double side of broccoli to go with the steak. It was not up to the standard I have come to expect at other Outbacks around the country. Rating: Tolerable. Don't be lured by locational convenience.

Ok so I know I said I was never going back here again BUT...there was a snow storm and the only thing that was right by the hotel. I had to give them the extra star because the completely redeemed themselves. Let me start by saying I was exhausted from traveling and my waitress was so cheerful. Brittany wanted to help me and seemed like she liked her job alot. I think it helped that we both were from Chicago. I ordered the Bloomin Onion. It was hot and very yummy. They have a dish they are advertising a 6oz sirloin and King Crab Legs with a side. The crab legs were so fresh and tasted so fantastic in the lemon butter. I never had to worry about my ice tea being empty or my water. Brittany turned a horrible experience into one to remember.

It's an Outback Steakhouse in a strip mall. Most of their wait staff are teenagers. I'll go when I want a cheap but reliable steak and don't want to drive any farther. Not much else to say.

Absolutely horrible service. When we arrived, we were pointed toward the seating by the bar. People were coming in and wait staff was wandering around, but no one was getting waited on. No one waited on us and after 20 minutes, we left. Would definitely never return to Outback.
