Really good Reuben and nice people. The place is nice and parking isn't a problem. Not much else to say, I'm a fan of these guys.

Solid good food from a guy from Brooklyn who cares about selling and serving authentic NY deli meals. We ordered a sausage and pepper sandwich and a grilled cheese with tomato on whole wheat with a side of coke slaw. Satisfying and tasty. Service was really good and the owner came over to chat with us. We will be back again!

A full service NY deli with imported NY bagels, spices, meats and bread. Authentic NY subs, sodas, knishes, pickles, etc.

Great find in Longmont! Authentic East Coast Deli. The hot dog was very good and the bun was ever so tender (I've been unable to find a decent hotdog in this town before discovering this deli) Also the Gyro was delicious. The touch of olives gave it an unexpected burst of flavor. And the bagels are over the top delicious! The hot pastrami was extremely basic. Mustard, pastrami and bread. It was tasty and hit the spot (I was on the go) but didn't wow me. They also offer Specials every day so it's worth it to get on their text list when they update their customers. The owner mentioned that he just cooked up a prime rib last night so it looks like I'm heading back there for some of the specials in my text-- Brooklyn Deli: Prime Rib French Dips, Wild Mushroom and Truffle Bisque and Fresh Quiches to be made for Thursday! Their menu has a lot of variety. Definitely a place to come and enjoy! The owner is very accommodating. The shop may close at 6p if it's a slow evening but I called on my way and he happily said he would wait. (Usually closes at I took a To Go menu in case I want to call it in next time. Great place!

Good New York style deli. Best I have had here in Denver/Boulder. The owner has a great sense of humor... he bragged one day about everything being from New York...with is New York accent...and I asked if he was by chance from New York and he laughed and said "yep...I am from New York...how did you know?" I love their rueben and New York style hot dog. Great food!

Bagels are good and since there is not much choice in this area, probably the best you will find. They are expensive (and frozen) so we are going to try Rosenberg's in Denver. Did not care for the deserts - did not taste fresh. One weird thing - every time we buy bagels the price is different - not sure what is going on here.

We came here for a late lunch on my day off. I got a sandwich regular sized, a chocolate egg cream, and chips. DH got a philly cheesesteak and chips. The sandwich was good, although very basic (meat, mustard, bread) and thus a bit expensive for that and chips. The egg cream was good though. I'd really say a 3.5, but rounding up because it's a cute place with several options and it's local.

First time I got a microwaved Pastrami and Swiss sandwich. It's a shame because it's a concept I crave in Longmont. Also hygiene Washington was an issue when I went. Not coming back.

Unbelievably rude service. The food might be OK -- I wouldn't try it, though, because I wouldn't support this kind of customer service. Come here if you want to be insulted and treated poorly. I was going to do a small amount of work before ordering an early lunch, and then I had to go to another appointment around noon. I usually work at the EXCELLENT coffee shop next door, but decided to branch out and maybe discover something new. I live nearby and am always looking for good restaurants. Plus, restaurant coverage is of specific interest to my job, so I am always interested in learning more about local businesses to potentially refer to the community -- or in this case, not. I was the ONLY person in this facility, when the man working there actually asked me to leave. He told me I couldn't stay there to do any work (typing on my computer, silently). I looked around and, yup, still not a SINGLE other customer -- none even walking by. It baffles me why a business would turn away money, and now a potential client forever. Who does that?! It's not like I was taking up valuable chairs when they were extremely busy. Bizarre! And offensive. I went next door to the excellent coffee shop with perfect customer service and gave them a giant tip. I'll keep my money going here. They deserve it. I will never return to this unprofessional, deserted deli. Now I know why it was empty.

I dip into the brooklyn deli for a quick lunch or dinner when I'm in longmont. The owner is awesome, definitely funny and informative. The food he has is also delicious. When he details what each component of a sandwich is (sourdough baked this morning, cheese from such and such local dairy) you know it's gonna be good. The prices are reasonable and the variety is solid. If you want a quick lunch option in longmont i urge you to try the brooklyn deli.

I've only been once, but the Cubano sandwich is amazing. I've eaten Cuban sandwiches many places and this is probably the second best that I've ever had. First was in manhattan. I'll be back for seconds.

If your signs say you are open until 7pm, you should be open until 7pm if not a few minutes after. It's is terrible customer service to have your sign say you are open until a certain time but be closed down and cleaning up grills and such 15-20 before you are actually supposed to be closed.

I love the Reuben sandwich here, frickin fantastic. We enjoyed other things we tried. The manager/owner guy is a cool ny dude and friendly. Worth the stop, and if you like Reubens, you'll be back.

A little background information: this place has moved from the 9th and Coffman strip mall (it used to be next to Your Butcher Frank's) to the 15th and Main strip mall, next to the corpse of Snow Mountain Creamery and a Christian bookstore. The move helped: there are now more tables and chairs and actual SPACE in which to eat. Get a sandwich (they have a wide variety of these), a gyro, a hot dog, a wrap, a salad, and that's just for lunch. They have bagels (H&H Bagels, from New York) and breakfast sandwiches as well. I have never had a bad sandwich here, and have had many that were delicious (my favorite's the Chicago Italian Beef, but they make a mean pastrami on rye as well). Decent sandiwiches are actually fairly easy to find in Longmont, even if The Brooklyn Deli's are easily among the best, maybe the best. However I come back because I can't seem to find a decent gyro anywhere else in this town, and because they take hot dogs seriously here, which means you get a Sabrett dog with the works: onions-in-sauce, kraut, and mustard, like a real New Yorker. Or however you want it. I always get a knish, served with deli mustard, on the side as well. It's not exactly like going to New York, but it's enticingly close. Though there's no "ambience" to speak of, if you care about such things. Also they don't stay open past six during the week, they are very much a lunch or breakfast place.

Very nice find that I uncovered this week! This Deli has lots item choices to pick from. In fact I was a bit perplexed as to what to choose from. The guy running the place also pointed out the specials for the day. It did not take me long to decide what I wanted after he showed me this. One of the items that was the special for that day was a ham and brie panini. I haven't had a panini in a while and thought go with it! The panini was delicious! The brie cheese actually tasted like brie! Strong tasting! I haven't had much of what what people on the east coast call brie very often out here. The little movie theater that I used to work at had real brie cheese and I think I had some in Seattle but overall most of the brie you get here in Colorado tastes very mild. I also got some very tasty potato chips and a pickle to boot! I ordered some lime and lemonade which was very refreshing. While I was eating another person came in to order. It was no secret that they guy running the place was from New York because of his accent. The other guy was from New York as well and was very impressed with how the Brooklyn Deli really looked like a deli in Brooklyn. The owner went on to say that most of his stuff comes in from New York or New Jersey. That would explain why none of the soda pop labels that you could get from the can here was something that I was familiar with. Seriously give this place a try if you like sandwich shops, it is cheaper to go here rather than fly back east to a Brooklyn deli. Yum!

I have driven by this place dozens of times and never stopped until today. I planned to try their hotdog but ended up going with the Italian sub. Was it good? NO, Was it great? YOU BET! If you are the kind of person that likes Subway's you probably won't like this place , but if you like a real tasty sandwich and are willing to pay a little more, this place is great. I will be back next week to try the hotdog !

I'm a big fan of this place. Ian M below has already written a detailed review to which I'll just add my vote. One correction (recent change I think) is that they now do dinners. I had thought they closed when they moved (old landlord took down the 'we've moved' sign pretty quickly). I was sooooo happy to find that Steve had moved to North Main Street. I was really jonesing for one of Stevie's hot pastrami sandwiches (get the extra meat!!). This place is simple, it's great food. The real deal (or as much as you'll get in the Rockies). Dogs complete with onion sauce, terrific sandwiches, great pickles (two flavors - I love 'em both). The new location is still far from my home (about 30 minutes), but I will absolutely be driving up there for lunch as needed. Be good to these people. They work hard, deliver a great product and deserve the support of proper foodies. It's worth the drive. Makes me wish I still lived near Longmont...

Hello Brooklyn!! A pretty decent deli. The hot dogs are great, ( Sabretts), with some red onion sauce, kraut and some deli mustard. I gotta try their Hot Pastrami on Rye and a Knish to really see If they come close to a NY Deli! Update soon!
