This is MY Starbucks! I have been coming here for about 2 years. It took the staff only a couple of visits to learn my name and my usual. They are super friendly and always interested to hear about your life - and they remember the stuff you tell them! The drinks always come out perfect, and the baristas are willing to experiment when I tell them to "surprise me!" If you don't like the drink, they will happily remake it for you (though that's rarely necessary) for free. The store is always immaculately clean. Starbucks's loyalty program makes it easy to feel good about returning: earn points on small or inexpensive drinks, then splurge on a big one when you've earned a freebie! I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews on this particular location. I've been to most of the other locations in the area, and experienced the best service here. I've never had a bad experience or seen someone have a bad experience here; and for a while I was coming every day, sometimes twice a day.

It's always disappointing when you think something is remodeled from the outside, and you go inside to see that is the same average location you have been in before. Sadly, this Starbucks had gone through an outside remodel, but still remains barren inside and a tough place to get work done. That being said, the staff is nice and they deliver your drink quickly. The internet is fast and stable, even if you have to stare at an ugly interior. After all, isn't that all you want out of your neighborhood Starbucks?

Ok, I caved. I usually only treat myself to something at Starbucks on a weekend. I'm not a "I MUST have coffee in the morning!" person. However, yesterday, I was that person. End of semester stress and grading got to me. I needed a break, some caffeine, and a simply pleasure. I ordered my usual, medium skinny vanilla latte extra hot. First of all, I think I was charged incorrectly. It wasn't enough to make a stink out of, but I believe I was charged 50 cents more. Secondly, this was the WORST vanilla latte ever. I realized it after I got into my car and headed back to school. I know I could've brought it back, but I really didn't have the time. I really like the Starbucks by me, Wadsworth and Bowles. I won't be back to this location.

The staff here is extremely friendly. My drink gets made very fast, and the two times when it took too long (and we're only talking a few minutes here) they always give me a coupon good for a free one on my next visit. Also, they're ALWAYS giving out free samples!

I'm unsure why it has such low reviews. I have been going here for 3+ years now and have never had anything bad. As far as starbucks go this one is a nice one in my book. The staff is super friendly and have been working there a long time. They may be a little slow when it comes to getting your drinks to you but you know what? Why rush for a coffee drink? It's not like you have somewhere to be that you need your drink made in 10 secs. And if you say you do make it at home. Sit down on the sofa and read the paper.

i've been coming here since 2006 when i was still in HS...i buy an iced coffee from them several times a week and generally use my own cup. every day i pay full price minus my 10 cent discount for using my own cup...then return later for ONE refill per day. one day i came in for a refill and as soon as i walked in the door a catty employee whom i'd had an altercation with previously that week (about refills) motioned to the manager at me. the manager then proceeded to inform me of the refill policy. I worked for starbucks for 4 years...I know the refill policy and I also know that when you have regular customers you look the other way on such policies considering they spend so much money at your store on a regular basis. I also know that they are supposed to provide LEGENDARY SERVICE. i will never come back to this starbucks ever again, and i havent been back since. it's a shame since i live so close to this one that i could walk, but instead i go out of my way to avoid it and give my buisness to one further down broadway.
