I'm whiter than marshmallow fluff and saltine crackers combine, but grew up eating Mexican food straight out of East LA cooked on dirt floors so I am spoiled, but this place is an atrocity to all the senses. I thought Bubba Chinos was awful, but this makes them look competent. Please learn that life extends American cheese! In a word, nasty!

I didn't even realize that I haven't done a review here yet... so here I go. I normally have my better half pick me up something on the way home from work, and the steak burritos are my favorite, but once in a while I'll make the trek out to stop in for some to go. We came here on Father's day, and they were closed, but we came back the following Sunday and they were open ( yippee). Ordered a variety of things for the group - chilies cheese fries , steak burrito (of course), beef tacos for the kids, and a few bean tostada's. While we waited, we talked to the owner and she was super friendly and fun to talk to, found out about that they are family owned ( around 6 years I think she said) , and from what I can gauge, her and her husband work their butts off for this place... she definitely seems vested and proud of their establishment - which makes me love it all the more :) She mentioned they may close a few days for the 4th of July Weekend, and I encouraged it! Take a break!! The food was good and always hits the spot. I got my burrito smothered with cheese and chili and it was hot! hot! hot!- but still good :) They dinning area is small, but there are a few tables to eat at if you are so inclined... but the take out is pretty darned good as well. Just an all around great experience and I feel good about patronizing a place like this

?php //I usually eat Fast Food and now I know why? I wanted to take my family out to eat and I wanted them to try out Mile High\N so I grabbed 20 bucks for some hamburgers and started trucking to Mile High Mexican etc....... to get as many as I can and I had to wait of course surprisingly to see return customers hmmmm \"pondering"\N; // Any way all the hamburgers were plain and dry we had to go home and eat what a joke I felt like an idiot cause I made the food run Stick With Fast Food at least they give condiments -1 hamburger here and there and its faster and maybe some what cleaner cause its not family owned stick with franchise food were all better off eating greasier foods\N and you don't have to tip fast food and they don't except them either So in other words if you don't have their tip on hand you get a bad deal with a smile talk about a $%#$#@ in the back\N; // I think I will stick with fast food (franchise) echo "Says here is your tip"; ?

A friend introduced me to the low-key pleasures of this tiny restaurant. Order at the counter, then sit down. You can eat there in the no-frills dining area, but many people prefer to take their food to go. The daily special breakfast burritos for $2 are delicious! I liked the rellenos very much. The people are friendly, the place is clean, the food is good. I could wish for a little more dining atmosphere, but at these low prices the lack is understandable -- and despite that, I'm looking forward to my next visit.

I pretty much eat mexican food 7 days a week, and have tried most places similar in the area such as Tamale Kitchen, Santiagos, Chubbys and the like. The thing I like here is so far at least, the food has tasted great every time. The people have been friendly every time. More than I can say for most other places. The breakfast burritos are large and for $2.50 a good deal. The other food can start to get more pricey, but the size and good taste makes the place a real winner in my book. I'll recommend it highly and go back frequently.

Great green chilli, the chilli cheese fries with steak were delicious. The employee's were more friendly than most of the restaurants of similar food items. Breakfast burritos were a good deal $2 for a good sized burrito. Bonus they have vegetarian green chilli and I tasted a sample of it and it was good.

This place is super quick and has generous portions at a very low price; $15 feeds two. A great place for quick takeout, my delicious smothered beef and bean burrito hit the spot; it could have used some more cheese, but I ate it too fast to really realize the fact. Friendly staff too!

Wow so disappointed in this place.....For one, last time we went to pick up our order of food they had cockroaches crawling across the floor in broad daylight. That tells me the roaches are very comfortable at this Restaurant and there is obviously no attempt in eradicating the problem. Secondly, I am hugely disappointed in the fact the owners of Mile High Grill seem to think it is acceptable to allow 3 homeless heroin addicted men to make a tent on the property from scraps and trash where food is being served. YES YOU READ THAT RIGHT... There is a tent made from scraps on the property of Mile High Grill right this second. I called the owners and asked them if they were aware and that we planned on calling the cops...The response I got? Wow...."fuck you bitch, mind your business, do what you gotta do, they can stay cause we own the property..." Wow okay, Well not on my watch! I informed them that we witnessed a man pulling down his pants and crapping on the property where they sell food. The response I got again, "fuck you bitch"...yada yada, I hung up and called the Cops and I plan on pursuing this matter further. I will say this, I am very disappointed in this family owned Restaurant. They want to sell food to the Community and act like they care about us, but in all actuality, they absolutely DO NOT. They only want to sell crap food and pollute the Neighborhood. They don't live here either. They get in their cars and leave every night while the children and families are left in terror of the new neighbors. I say pass on this Resturant forever and ever...This is exactly how Hepatitis is spread. I will report back what happens and feel free to email me if you would like to see all the lovely pictures I took today outside the Restaurant...GROSS such a huge disappointment... I am beginning to think this Restaurant is a Dummy Company, what business owner that sells food to the public would think this ok besides a fake front Company? I don't know for sure, but what I do know, is these people DO NOT have the Communities best interest in mind. They need to go. This is OUR neighborhood and it's time to say Enough is Enough, this is clearly a health hazard.

Went on a breakfast burrito run this morning for the office. The burritos were mediocre, though I found a gross hair in mine. Called to let them know and they did offer to replace it; being that I was at work I couldn't head back over there for another. No apology for the trouble and/or money I spent and the staff is less than friendly. Prices are average- seems silly to pay $1 extra per tiny side of salsa. Overall, you can find a better breakfast burrito and experience in Lakewood/Denver. Definitely not going back.

No more Bubba Chino's. Mile High Mexican Grill has taken the place of Bubba's and whoa am I happy. I wandered over to give it a try after a less-than so so experience. First off BRONCOS memorabilia EVERYWHERE! This place is small bordering on tiny- but they do have a few tables for dining in. I ordered a simple Carne Asada Burrito with Green Chile on the inside. Very flavorful marinated Carne Asada packed into a good size tortilla. Service was prompt and very friendly. The owners here are very proud of their Chiles - I got to sample Their Green, Red (my favorite) and also a very unique White Chile (vegetarian). Go give them a try !

Some of the best chicken soft tacos I have ever had. They are not your typical chicken tacos but the chicken is always moist, tender and flavorful! Plus, the staff is very friendly. My parents and I love verde sauce. When we mentioned it they said they didn't make it anymore but would bring it back if we liked it so much. I'm not sure if they brought it back because we requested it but the next time I stopped by they had verde sauce! The inside has very little seating room but if you do choose to stay and eat you can watch a little tv, otherwise take it home and enjoy!

I officially love this place. While I do think the pricing is a bit confusing and seems to vary each time I visit, I don't care - it's still ridiculously affordable. We normally order three breakfast burritos - two for my husband and one for me. Two is a bit much though, and on Sunday he said to just order him one. I'm so glad I did because they were huge! I don't know if they changed or I ordered differently or incorrectly, but I ordered two breakfast burritos with egg, potato, bacon cheese and chile. My total was $13, normally about what I've payed for three burritos. But when I looked inside the bag, I could see why. They were at least twice the size of previous burritos I've had there. And damn, are they delicious. Super spicy, perfect hot temperature and best of all, not greasy or messy at all. Even though these burritos came with one end open and in a paper sack not wrapped in foil, we didn't spill anything and we ate some in the car and some in the house standing up with no plates. I often call my order in and can pick it up in 10 minutes or less. And they have a punch card. I took a bunch of friends here after a weekend of snowboarding and before their ride to the airport, and they could not believe how cheap and tasty the food was. The vegetarian in the group was happy with her options. I sent them off as happy campers with burning lips and very full bellies. LOVE!

This place used to be a Bubba Chinos. The food is still the same as it was when it was called Bubba Chinos. Definitely get your food to go. The inside of this place is not very nice, and the staff is not so friendly. Ive been in there many, many times, and none of the staff acknowledges that they recognize me. The food is good for fast food Mexican food. The green chili is spicy as hell. I wished they offered mild, med, hot. Theirs is definitely hot!! It doesn't deter me from getting my burritos smothered though! The burritos are huge, but they nickel and dime you over what goes in and on your burrito. I think they are fairly pricey for Mexican food. If this place is in your neighborhood, I would say try it out, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get their food.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
