Best dive bar food I think I've ever had. It's dark and dirty and smoky on the patio, but the tacos were awesome! They are called 'street' tacos, but are much bigger and fuller than what I'm used to. And only $7-8.50. House made tortilla chips with lime salt. Salsa is good, guac was fresh, but missing something. I wanted to try the green chile queso, but it's been pulled from the menu. I will go back to try more, maybe for weekend breakfast.

Good Music, horrible customer service. Did not try the food because the waitresses would even approach our table. When we asked for service we were rudely provided menus. People seated after us were served without hesitation. Going to Wrigley's in Golden, I know they have quality service and good food. One star and that is for the music. BAM.

This is definitely a good hang out spot! We stopped by after moving my grandmother into an assisted living facility nearby. We were pleasantly surprised by the attentive staff, yummy food and good service! It was also packed in here at 2pm which is a good sign! I had the breakfast burrito and it was good! The green chili was a little spicy but delish! Others at the table had the chicken and waffles sandwich and a BLT! All were good! We will be back!

HELLFIRE!! So I gave in to another Burger Craving and wanted to try out somehwere new. I stopped by Lakewood Grill this past Friday night to check it out. *** DISCLAMER *** I LOVE SPICY FOOD Fact: Lakewood Grill's HELLFIRE Burger is THE BUSINESS! All their burgers are in-house ground Chuck. Mine was cooked fairly true to my preference (RARE). This HELLFIRE Burger comes with an in-house Habanero sauce, pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, serrano peppers, lettuce, and tomato for $ 8 bucks. Tasty but seriously deadly. I love spicy food and was crying in happy pain just halfway through. All the sandwiches are served with home made fried potato chips in your choice of BBQ, salt & vinegar or buffalo variety. I wisely chose to avoid the buffalo and selected salt & vinegar. Crispy and not greasy with plenty of flavor. Fast friendly service from the staff combined with good food= I will be back again.

You gotta love the Lakewood Grill. It has been there forever - established in 1951 - makes it one of the very few places that is older than I am. Multiple owners, I assume, but the buidling and location are the originals. Looks a little seedy from the outside. Definitely nothing "nouveau" about it on the inside either. I'm not a biker and I really don't hang out in bars, but it feels to me like "biker bar" could be an apt description. And, everything I just described are the things I love about it. It has personality. It has character. Service and staff have always been great, and the food we've had has been very good as well. It is a bar, and the food is bar food - wings, appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, Mexican food - but it's really good bar food. Burgers are excellent, and the weekend breakfasts are large, tasty and inexpensive (around $7.00). Bottom line, if you tend toward the persnickety, remember that appearances can be deceiving. Loosen up, drop in and give Lakewood Grill a try. Every time I've paid the barkeep, hopped on my hog (2005 Prius), and roared into the sunset, I've done so a happy man.

This place double charged me! And the charges were two different totals. I'm going back and complaining! I thought this place was good previously, but I'm angry they charged me twice!
