I eat here at least once a week. I would recommend ordering one meal for two people as the portions are huge. When ordering spicy food they have a scale of 1-10 at 5 they change peppers so be careful. Service is very fast! The best part is they will let you order it the way you like it.

Went to Mt. Dragon b/c of reviews on here. Food: Marginally acceptable. Service: Laughable. Honestly, I saw the Subway sign across the street calling my name as I was walking into Mt. Dragon. I should have heeded the calling. I could have eaten at Subway five times for what I paid at Mt. Dragon. If not for the entertainment by the family of 6 seated in the "restaurant", they would have received 0 Stars. Last time that I received food on a tray: grade school-ish? I am uncertain since it has been so long. Good thing that I had my own water to tide me over until I got back to my cabin...I could have died from dehydration. I was never asked after the meal was served, did I need anything, how was everything (would you like a glass of cool, refreshing water)...you know, the standard inquiries by restaurant staff. It is entirely plausible that the waiter has never served a customer in this country. Difficult to understand, and very unpleasant disposition. Go into Subway, "Hi. How may I help you today? Is there anything else you would like?" You know, the standard customer greeting that most companies expect from their employees. Not as though this area is booming with visitors. You would think Mt. Dragon would bend over backwards to see to it that I returned. Nope. Not even a thank you from the three people standing behind the counter on my way out. They were busy texting or playing some mindless video game on their "smartphone." Might I suggest they get out a little steel wool and get the sticky feeling rubbed off of their questionably clean tables? Mt. Dragon, a perfect example of how not to win over your customers. A perfect example of how to ensure repeat business will not be repeated. Subway, 5 Stars, and I keep returning because their product and service are 100% reliable and consistent. Obviously, Subway will have to find a new spokesperson, but that is beside the point. Maybe Mt. Dragon can put Jared to work as wait staff?

We stopped here after biking from walden (78miles!) through the rain/wind/hail! We were glad to find a restaurant still open and it being Chinese was a bonus, since we were craving Asian food! We were happy they offered hot jasmine tea to warm us up (and it was free, might i add!). The host and the chef were beyond friendly and so attentive. We ordered orange chicken (which i think everyone in the restaurant ordered and it was awesome), sizzling black peppered beef (comes out on a hot plate literally sizzling and perfectly seasoned), mayonnaise shrimp (mouth-watering crispy shrimp with awesome mayo sauce), assorted veggies and tofu (great veggie dish), and pork chow mein (very crispy noodles and good pork). Fortune cookies were given for dessert! The best Chinese restaurant in the mid-west so far!! And we're from Southern California so we eat a lot of Chinese food. If you're in the area, you must definitely stop by here for great food and great service!

The highlight was the steamed white rice. OK, maybe my expectations were a tad high going in, since it had a 5-star rating on this site. Given that that was only based on three reviews and one of them was from someone who had ridden a bicycle 78 miles through a storm and likely would have given 5 stars to a can of pork and beans at that point, I did take that rating with a grain of salt...which proved wholly appropriate. The first thing I tried to order from the menu had been discontinued. I ended up ordering bamboo shoots, black mushrooms, and broccoli in oyster sauce. The mushrooms (though they were out of black mushrooms so I was served white mushrooms instead) and the broccoli were fresh and appealing, but the sauce was so salty I could hardly manage a bite without consulting my cardiologist. The story was the same for the almond chicken Pokey ordered: It contained fresh ingredients, plus enough salt to make the Dead Sea seem bland by comparison. Even the Nong--who will eat anything, including items that are not strictly considered food--balked at the food we offered and guzzled his weight in water once we were done. To reiterate, the ingredients were fresh and appealing, hence the second star. But in all seriousness, hungry as we were, we couldn't finish our meals when the sauce seemed to be soy sauce thickened with sodium; every bite made us reach for our drinks and caused our blood pressure to spike... ...and so we contented ourselves with the steamed white rice.

i have never done a review of a restaurant before, but you have got to go here and enjoy a delicious experience. appearances are deceptive. it barely qualifies as an asian experience. it is all about the the food and excellent service and overall value. this is my fourth visit in a year, each one involving a drive from silverthorne and back. the lunch menu has daily specials from $6.95 to $8.95 and is a complete meal with two choices of tea,. and from three kinds of soup( we have tried them all). the main entre is served in short order on a rectangular dish with sections for the egg roll and sweet/sour sauce, rice (either fried rice or white and the choice of entre. there is more than ample portions. we usually take home the leftovers for another meal in a foam container with sections for dividing the contents. the servers bring the fortune cookies with the bill. four can eat lunch for from $32 to $45 and find it an excellent value and feel good in leaving a good tip for the service. i will returning again soon. today i will finish the meal for lunch.

Seated really quickly. They took a long time to take our order, 25+ minutes. Our waitress seemed to be really busy working on everyone BUT us. The food came really fast and it was a large portion. Was pretty good. Only 4 stars because the waitress was especially slow...

Came here with the family. The building is a little old and cold inside. The staff is very friendly. They substituted chicken for tofu in their Pineapple Chicken and it was beyond phenomenal. I would love the put a 5 star however the drink options for kids is really limited. I would recommend this place to everyone.

This is one of the best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to! The food was delicious and the owner is soooooooooooooo nice and sweet. He used to have a restaurant on Aurora, CO, but he sold it. He's also really funny! If you ever come through Kremmling, be sure to stop here.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
