Awesome sushi! We had 7 sushi rolls and an appetizer for under 40 bucks! Can't believe it was such good quality for such a great price.

This is the spot. Great place for some Spicy Ramen. I visit this spot at least once a month while I am in town. Great service and friendly staff.

Perfectly acceptable and nice place for the neighborhood. Hey, they're right next to the University, so they need to offer good food at budget prices. They are perfect for their constituency. The food is great - good flavors, reasonable prices. I agree they don't go overboard on portion size, but still, you'll pay twice the price for some of the sushi rolls (i.e. Dragon Roll) at the more upscale locations. This place is a perfect option when my kids are craving Asian and I don't feel like spending a lot.

They have some major staffing issues. Never got to try the food. After waiting 45 minutes I was told it would still be another 15-20 minutes for a bowl of ramen! Seriously! I only had and hour for lunch so I had to ask for a refund - went back to work hungry and VERY disappointed! I always put money in the tip jar - seriously thought about reaching in and taking back my two bucks!

Whaaaat? Greeley has a cute little homestyle Japanese restaurant and Fort Collins doesn't? That's so wrong, but lucky for the UNC community. I decided to stop by while I was in the area, and since the call themselves a noodle house I decided to try the spicy ramen. It was decent -- the noodles had the right texture, but the vegetable broth was lacking in umami ... more like what I would expect for udon (so maybe I will try the tempura udon the next time I'm around). It's a nice space with plenty of Japanese ambience, but I happened to get take-out and really appreciate that they were willing to package my noodles and my soup separately so the noodles wouldn't get too soggy. It's also nice to see other Japanese comfort food items like katsu curry and yaki soba on offer, too. Soooo ... Fort Collins expansion? There's a place for something like this in the CSU community, too.

Can't find a single thing I don't love about this place. The ambiance is so nice and relaxing. The staff is always so, so friendly and so patient. They are always willing to help beyond what you'd expect and have great personalities all around. I'm not a sushi lover, but they have tons of menu items to tend to anyone. Their shrimp tempura and ramen bowls are to die for. Daruma is hands down my favorite place to eat in Greeley.

Nice atmosphere and friendly service, but I ordered the ramen and they tasted like they were the instant kind. I was really looking for Some comfort food. A bit disappointed :/ my friend did like her udon on the other hand.

Holey moley this place was great! I go to the UNC campus nearby so I passed the restaurant as it was being built on; always saying to myself "ooo, I wanna try this!" Finally I did! My friend took me there and "showed me how it worked." I admit, I have menu panic, and picking something quickly is just something I'm not good at! But I got ramen with tofu and it was delightful and flavorful! I poured in the rice and it made the broth really last. I loved the fishcake in it, and especially the half egg. I will try some udon next time, surely. The staff was kind! What I really really adored was the tea drink! I had a pear-flavored drink, I believe. There's a sugared bit of fruit at the bottom of a pretty empty styrofoam cup. You cross the restaurant and put hot water in the cup and mix it. You end up with a lovely fruit drink that warms you up good and the fruit pieces are delightful to eat and smell like heaven. The decor was so cute as well. There were a few sets of college kids there having a blast. I don't blame them, it seems like a lovely hangout spot. I would totally recommend this noodle shop!

The ambiance here is fabulous! I tried the jalapeno roll and the fried tempura roll. My fave was the fried tempura roll and I enjoyed cuteness of this place. I sat in a booth and the top had tiles of cute and pained sketches of Japanese collectibles. This place is absolutely adorable! I could see myself writing papers or studying here... it's a convenient place for those that would love to catch up or a place to grab a bite!

Second visit and I have to say it's pretty solid. Ordered the tempura shrimp which came with nicely prepared broccoli and carrots. Rice well prepared, important and the cabbage was excellent. I'm not sure how they get it so thinly sliced, but it's really tasty. I love to support the independent businesses and they are doing it right. AND they are really nice. Keep it up. I'll be back.

We ordered the bulbogi and rainbow roll - both fresh and delicious! We really appreciated the quantity of fresh vegetables and fruits, along with the outstanding fish and Korean bbq. Very convenient to order via OrderUp. Fast and friendly.

I've been here three times now and each time, the food as been solid. The spicy ramen is really good and is indeed spicy. A few people have complained about the broth not being up to par but I personally liked it. I've also tried two of the sushi rolls, which were really good considering this place specializes in noodles. I will definitely be back even though it is kind of expensive.

We love this place. The service is great. Many choices for the kiddos and beer for the grown-ups.

I went and ordered the spicy ramen. I have never had "real" ramen before so I have no comparisons to make, but my soup was very tasty and filling. I would definitely go again to try other things on the menu. I could definitely see myself partaking in more ramen again once it cools down during the winter.

Just tried their sushi..Angry lobster and rainbow roll....YUMMY! I had been a loyal once a week customer of another place for Sushi but after a horrible experience and another after giving them another try I had to find somewhere to get my fix. I actually used orderup so it got delivered to my front door in great time. Have found my new place

had the chicken curry plate last night and was super not impressed. The sauce was bland and reminded me more of Campbell's cream of chicken than curry. The chicken pieces were tiny- no larger than a pea on average, and the steamed veggies were soft from over cooking. The rice was also over cooked and formed a sticky mass under the curry. I'm normally impressed by Daruma's food, but couldn't even finish this stuff. Oh well, they can't all be winners.

How fancy of us! We got a ramen house and it's even within walking distance of my house! Yes, of course, they serve sushi and yakisoba and the like, but a ramen house! Within walking distance of my house! I was suffering from a head cold at the time and a nice, super hot Asian style spicy soup was on the board, so I ordered Spicy and went to work. Interesting thing to note about this ramen house: instead of the more traditional dashi (fish) or tonkotsu (pork) stock they do use a vegetable one. I'm sure this is to appeal to vegetarian customers, but there was a certain richness and authenticity lost. That said, the vegetable stock was not too salty, which is almost always the downfall of vegetable stock. I was surprised to find the addition of kamaboko to my spicy ramen. I'd never had them before and had to ask a friend what they were. Delightful is what I say to that. So here are the reasons why I minused three stars: Well, besides the lack of dashi or tonkotsu which I felt really took away from the bowl. First of all, the soup wasn't what I like to call "Asian Soup Hot," which means it isn't the temperature you would expect for broth that's been cooking all day. In fact, the soup was almost cold before I finished it. Secondly hands down this is the least generous with proteins that I've ever experienced at a ramen house. There was some meat, but not enough for even the smaller bowl; and only half an egg which hadn't been cooked in the broth, merely added at the creation of the bowl so it hadn't had a chance to soak up the brothy goodness. And also: the price point here is a little ridiculous. You receive a medium sized bowl for 8 bucks and change. For that same 8 bucks I can get a large bowl of a different Asian country's native soup at another location here in Greeley. It is priced comparably to the closeby Chipotle and Cheba Hut, but it's a little hard for me to swallow that pricing when the same 8 bucks in very much more expensive Southern California would've purchased me a ramen bowl so huge I would've been full to bursting and still had enough to take home with me for another meal. All in all: nice clean place. Pro tip for those unaware - it's fully polite and a compliment to slurp your ramen, please don't stare at me while the very nice Japanese lady is beaming because I'm enjoying it. I'll probably return to see how they do with yakisoba and sushi, but I'm likely to just hit an Asian Market and make my own ramen in the future.

We first visited Daruma Noodles a couple of weeks ago and each had veggie yaki soba noodles. The staff were attentive and knowledgable regarding their menu, and the noodles were delicious! We asked for spicy noodles, and they were indeed spicy - not something that always happens when you make that request. We'd like to see more vegetarian appetizer options - they have edamame and gyozas, so why not combine the two for edamame gyozas? We'll be returning often, and fully recommend this restaurant. About time Greeley got some decent places to eat. Now if we can get an Indian restaurant...

This place was awful! The noodles tasted like top ramen, and the entire meal left an awful aftertaste - kind of like unseasoned vegetable oil. Mushy veggies. Seriously, seriously, seriously bad. Seriously.
