Stayed here for a wedding we went to across the street at a hotel. My mother in law actually rented out each room for all the family members that traveled for the wedding. The hosts were very hospitable, they make you feel welcomed from the time you arrive. The breakfasts were AMAZING!! The breakfasts alone would keep me coming back to this place. Rooms were nice, but we had the downstairs room and we could hear everything that happened downstairs and every time someone came or went through the front door. I recommend getting one of the upstairs rooms for this reason.

We stayed here for a few days recently while traveling back to Colorado to visit with family and for a wedding. We chose the Clear Creek room which is the first room downstairs when you enter the house. The grounds are very pretty with a lot of flowers and places to sit and enjoy the sunset. Our room was fairly small, but good enough for what we needed. If you require more room for spending time in the room other than resting you may want to consider the upstairs, larger rooms. The bed was very comfortable with high quality and soft sheets. Everything was very clean and in working order. My only complaint would be that it was a bit hot, but Colorado is hot in the summer and has been humid lately. We had the overhead fan and window A/C unit going, but I think it was just too muggy outside. If there is a good breeze it is quite comfortable with the windows open, though. It is right across the street from a Thai restaurant and further down there are a ton of eating options. We were there over the holiday (4th of July) weekend and the noise levels were tolerable. We didn't get to eat the breakfast since we had back to back family plans the entire time, but I've read that it is good. There is a nice coffee machine, water, tea and cookies in the nice sitting room. The innkeepers and cleaning lady are all very nice. I would recommend this inn if you are in the area.

Elizabeth, Jill and Karen; Wow! My sister, Niece and I had the BEST experience at the Dove Inn. Thank you for your warm hospitality, professional service and absolutely fabulous made from scratch breakfast! This historic home is nestled on a quiet neighborhood street just below pretty mountains and the town of Golden. The rooms are well appointed and very clean, the beds are new and comfy and there are plenty of extra blankets and fluffy pillows. We liked the size of the Queen Anne suite with its king size bed and sitting area with sofa. A huge fresh pot of coffee is available in the morning but if one needs coffee quickly, there is a Kuerig with all the accoutrements just outside the rooms upstairs. GREAT LOCATION! We walked right to downtown Golden where there are tons of restaurants and shops. We appreciated being treated as friends! Can't wait to visit Golden and the Dove Inn again!!!

This past weekend we were in Colorado for a wedding but wanted to spend one of our days at the Coors Brewery and to stay somewhere that was in walking distance. While doing some research prior to the trip we came across The Dove Inn and saw all the wonderful reviews and decided since we had never stayed at a B&B before that this would be the perfect opportunity. This place was wonderful! The owners made you feel so at home and gave us a very warm welcome. The rooms were all amazing and so unique. We stayed in the Red Rocks room. We woke up to a delicious breakfast in the morning. Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night but we will definitely be making another trip here in the future for longer. This is the perfect location! It's one block down from the Main Street with a lot of fun things to do!

Friendly owner, great house, great room. Peaceful and one block from adorable main street. Tabletop Mountain view, Red Rocks thirty minutes away.. Lovely breakfast. If ever in this cute town, stay here.

Dear Bill and Annette, Thank you both so much for your hospitality! We really enjoyed our romantic retreat this weekend to celebrate our sixth year married. The huge bath tub was just the ambiance we were looking for. The king sized bed and cozy little fire place in our room was so nice after a big bubble bath each night. We enjoyed the plate of home-made cookies and the video selection too. All of the little extra's, like cool magazines, the tiny fridge, and purple towels (to match our room's decor) made us both feel very welcome. We really missed our beloved kitties so what a nice surprise to see the fuzzy doggie on our bed. All weekend Prince Charming kept posing it in ways we find our kitties posing. It was our little inside joke. We can't thank you enough for making us feel like family in your charming home. Your suggestions for sight seeing in Golden were invaluable too.
