This place seems like it would have a nice atmosphere when it is busy. I came in on a Saturday afternoon in November and the only people here were me and one unmotivated counter guy. Ordered the Turkey Pastrami Grill. 3 slices of deli turkey, 1 slice swiss, 1 slice gorgonzola, onions (I asked for and received it without), run through a panini press. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. Sandwich + chips + bottle drink = $10

Found this little gem en route to Westcliffe. They roast the coffee here and most of it is organic. I recently read that coffee beans are sprayed with up to 200 pesticides so big score with the organic! Pour House bakes their own pastries, too. I bought some beans, a latte, brownie, and oatmeal raisin cookie. It was all delicious. The brownie was especially great--chewy, great chocolate flavor with some chocolate chips. We will be back!

I was driving through town looking for a place to eat and grab a cup of joe. This place was cute, clean and good. Food was good and at a great price. My latte was delicious! The barista was super friendly and fast! If you are ever in town, stop by and grab something to eat!!

My wife and I were passing through Florence on our way to a hike in the nearby Wet Mountains, and in search of breakfast. Stopped here on impulse, and what a great surprise! A knowledgable owner/barista (Kenny) took the time to acquaint us with what is on offer, served up top quality drinks, and chatted with us as much as his time allowed, which included a table visit. Coffee quality high, carefully roasted, nicely prepared. We'll be back.

Local Coffee shop offering all kinds of delights to eat. He roasts the beans, creates fabulous drinks, snacks, sandwiches and bakery goods. He knows his stuff. Wonderful art on the walls, wifi hot spot and very clean. Local hot spot!

This place is awesome. The guy roasts his own beans and the flavor and distinction..... there is no comparison. The espresso is amazing. I tend to look for a more smokey tasting espresso w less acidic taste and this place has done that. The Sumatra --Vienna roast, is amazing w a very smokey taste and smooth finish. For a great Americano or espresso this is your place!! Well worth the 10min drive south of highway 50 to check it out. I live in Canon City and it beats any coffee shop here.

Amazing, charming, funky and delicious. Those are just a few adjectives to describe the unmistakable charm of this fantastic coffee house. They feature local artists all over the store and the proprietor, Kenny, is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, attentive, and friendly. They have micro brews from all over the world and you can truly taste the difference. They also have handmade bakery and lunch options and smoothies! I highly recommend The Pour House for anyone (not just coffee lovers).

A bit of a hidden gem. This place serves incredible coffee that they roast in house. Quiche, coffee cake, breakfast burritos... a simple but tasty menu. Downtown Florence is a cool place to stroll and shop for antiques after getting your coffee.

Great coffee and pastries here! I love the vibe and they have free wifi.. You can usually get a good spot and do some reading or people watching or whatever.. The staff is always pleasant and friendly.

Amazing. Adorable. Good service. & Of course good coffee. The man behind the counter was wearing a Keep Calm & Drink Coffee t-shirt which was totally awesome. He was extremely kind and very welcoming. I ordered a decaf americano iced with coconut milk. SUPER EXCITED he had coconut milk! He was more than happy to brew up a cup of decaf for my drink, which I couldn't say the all coffee shops would want to do the same. The cafe had a really great appearance and good prices for both food and drinks. Suggest going here if you stop in Florence!

What a hidden gem! As the sign warned outside it did indeed have "fancy pants coffee" but fortunately no attitude was served up with it. The guy who helped us (presumably the owner?) seemed passionate about the coffee and their offerings. He was glad to explain what a "pour over" was to uneducated non-fancy pants like us. I opted for a mochato which I recommend for you mocha lovers. I was impressed by the variety of espressos and blends. I will definitely be more adventurous the next time I find myself in Florence. My dad warned their beverages are always scalding but I expect nothing less. The local raw chocolate was a bit too raw for me but if you're into that kind of thing (read: healthy), it's the right quality. Too rich for me. Overall vibe is chill. I wish this place was in my town. Local artwork is featured on the wall, fun music is playing complemented by colorful walls and high ceilings with a large array of seating nooks. Check out the Roasters magazine to bulk up on your coffee knowledge but beware if you sit on the red couch by the door - you might find it tricky to get back up.

How did this place get 4.5 stars? Holy cow. Great small coffee place to relax. Think Starbucks in Barnes and Noble and shrink it to fit small town. Ok so shrink to 1/100th of both and you get wonderful service. Quaint off Main Street. Their chicken salad on crossiant is the way to go. The crossiant is heated but the chicken salad is still cold. And I found my new favorite, sliced purple grapes. I'll admit I absolutely hated grapes or any other foreign item in my salad. Now it's one I will ask for. One awesome plus is they do those drawings on the foam on the latte.

When I found myself in the dusty western town of Florence, CO I was seriously concerned about how I'd manage my caffeine addiction. Lucky for me, The Pour House was right around the corner from my hotel. The coffee is great, as are the pastries. The food menu is a little limited, but atmosphere, charm, and friendly baristas easily make up for any down falls. In the week I was in Florence, I became a Pour House regular. The employees were great to talk to, always remembered me, and seemed happy to strike up pleasant conversation.

The coffee here is some of the best I have ever had. It's always smooth with no bitterness. Even better they have real food along with sweets. This is a great place for breakfast, lunch and anytime snack. The inside is decorated with local art and sometimes there are artist working there. There are a couple tables outside which is perfect in the Colorado summers so we can bring our dogs to sit outside. Overall the cafe is comfortable and inviting with great food and coffee.
