I am the spaghetti connoisseur and this place is almost there. So, first and foremost, my rating weighs on my impression of the spaghetti. I liked it, but it could have drained another minute. The atmosphere here is awesome! I love it. Just relax and enjoy yourself. It's a neighborhood place with a neighborhood feel. Also, the spooners are awesome! It's seriously the best way I've ever drank Coors Light. My advice: come for a pizza and some spooners. You will love it!

Not impressed. We just moved to the neighborhood and always see it packed when we walk our dog. I wouldn't go again unless I had nowhere else to eat and no food at home. The service was friendly but felt somewhat disengaged. Just doing their job. The food was bland and did not live up to what we paid for a meal for two ($45). This seems like a good neighborhood watering hole with a restaurant added on. I've also seen many "Hiring now" signs, that may be a symptom of what we experienced.

This was a welcome surprise. Not sure how i haven't tried this place yet, but i guess every time i get in that area US Thai grabs me. Some friends invited me here and I was a little hesitant because of alot of the sub par pizza joints in the area. But from the moment we were seated i had a good feeling. Service was good and quick, if i needed something it was probably already delivered before i could ask. We ended up getting a large thin crust pepperoni with green and red peppers. Right away the topping distribution was excellent, ingredients were fresh and the crust was cooked perfectly. I would highly recommend if you want a solid pie in the sloans lake area.

Nice little neighborhood place. Stopped in to get a pizza and a beer. Service was spotty but not too bad. We ordered the onion ring stack. They were some of the best onion rings that I have ever had. When I took a bit of one, all of the batter didn't come off. I love that. The two dipping sauces were delicious. I ordered a side salad with my pizza and it was huge. Full of fresh greens, vegetables, pepperoni, cheese, and yummy dressing. Good salad. The pizza was just ok. I have had so many better pizzas but it was alright. The crust was a bit overdone, the sausage was very spicy. Just didn't hit the spot. The prices were awesome and the beer was cold.

The #1 reason I order takeout? Cause there is NO FOOD in the house. So when I get home and my salad has no dressing I am sad, mad, and annoyed. Oh and there's still no dressing in my fridge. :/ I called to inform them and also ask if I could come pick it up and was given a bit of attitude. Thankfully I live less than a mile away and have a sweet hubs so he went back to retrieve the sauce. Second star because despite all this I still scarfed the food down, and yes it tasted good.

A friend and I were searching for a place on a Friday night around 7:30 pm that didn't have a wait. My trusty Yelp app pointed me to the Edgewater Inn. I had heard many good things about the food here. I gave them a quick call and we were told that there wasn't much of a wait so off we went. We arrive and found parking right away. There is street parking and a small lot across the street. We were seated immediately. Our waitress was outstanding. I wish I would have gotten here name but I didn't. She was the awesome, spunky, cheerful blonde waitress. She was running from table to table and still found time to provide some explanation of the menu and answer any questions that we had. She was attentive but didn't hover. We opted for the pizza and salad. The paisono salad was huge. If you like chunky blue cheese dressing for your salad I would opt for a different selection - it wasn't chunky and only had a hint of blue cheese flavor - if they had told me it was ranch I would have believed them. Our pizza selection was the Howdy Special - sausage, mushrooms, green peppers, black olives, jalapenos, and house seasoning. We opted to remove the green peppers and add green olives. As their menu states there is a charge for substitutions on the House Special pizzas. We did the math and it was actually a tad cheaper to do the substitution than to create our own pizza. We were going to order the medium however the waitress pointed out we could get the large for only a $1 more. So we went for it. We were both able to take home 3 large slices of pizza. It reheated so nicely - two meals for the price of one. Or actually four meals for the price of two.

A OK. The most accurate word I can think of to describe the Edgewater Inn is: average. The food is average, the drink selection is average, the service is average, the prices are average. It's a nice neighborhood spot and a lot of people seem to love this place. As far as 25th St is concerned, I personally prefer the food/drink options at both Providence and Sloan's.

Edgewater Inn is more than a restaurant, it is a neighborhood institution. The pizza is good and the atmosphere is welcoming to all. You don't come here for gourmet foo foo pizzas, micro brews and over the top service, you come here because you want to have pizza and a coors light at a pizza joint that is anything but pretentious. Good food, good service, and an atmosphere that is quintessentially Edgewater.

This place has been around forever! I have gotten their great white pizza several times and love it! Their crust is really tasty and good of you like thicker crusts. The back patio is nice and quieter if you have a larger party. Inside the restaurant is a little loud and dark. I would definitely recommend their pizza. Their service has been hit or miss. I have had really good service, but also inconsistent. Their large pizzas are under $20 and it makes sense to go with the large instead of the medium because it's only $1 more.

Verdict on the pizza: I guess, we now finally know! When something is THAT disgusting, all other forms of the same product are taste equally disgusting! I stopped in last night with some friends to grab dinner. Two of my party has been here before, the other two had not (this is important to note, as a fair assumption regarding guests: would be to not treat them to an experience such as this). Service was very...VERY.. slow. Drinks were expensive: $8:00 for a glass of house red wine. That is a lot in my opinion; as we are probably talking about one of the famous vineyards that are talked about regularly in AA classes. Appetizers: We ordered wings...which were so vinegar soaked they literally burned the mouth to eat. They also took 20 minutes to arrive at the table. Pizza #1 : To be completely honest here, we ordered a "Sweetness" pizza, which 4 our of 4 people in our group confirmed, came with Velveeta, not the promised America Cheese on it. The taste was terrible...but we waited close to half an hour to get it, so we feared sending it back would result in a longer wait. Pizza #2: During the wait period for the wings (20 minutes) we ordered two pizza's as there were 4 of us, and we were very hungry. The second pizza was the "Howdy". which oddly enough tasted a whole lot like the "Sweetness". Despite being a very different concoction of toppings...terrible! I and another member of our party spoke of how a place like this could keep its doors open while service and food was as it is. The best we cam up with, was that it is operating solely off of name sake and a once revered reputation.

Ordered the Sweetness pizza for takeout, asked for them to make it a little "crispy". Had time for a beer while waiting. The beertendress was as sweet as ever, the kitchen manager was awesome. The pizza, mmmmmmm, soooo yummy! The toppings are plentiful, but not excessive. The sauce is slightly spicy, but not overbearing. The crust was done exactly as asked for & was very tasty. I don't come to Edgewater Inn often, but every time I have I REALLY liked the pizza, & this was no exception!

This place goes back year. Has an old school blue collar feel. It feels like s throwback Midwest dive bar. I love the food, simple and delicious.

I wish I had amazing things to say about this place since everyone who seems to have heard of it says "Oh it's been around forever, it's an institution!" For being an institution I would have thought the food would be way better especially for the price. We ordered a takeout pizza and there is nothing special about it and in fact is very mediocre. As the yelp two star rating states "Meh, I've experienced better." in this case I have. I could have ordered a comparable pizza from Papa John's or Dominos and enjoyed it for half the price. Would not recommend this place for a slice. Maybe other things on the menu are better?

We used to be regulars here as my mom & her husband worked here for years - years ago. We tried pizza, a calzone, wedding soup, fettucine and meatballs and onion rings. The onion rings were fantastic as was the fettucine and marinara sauce. The pizza was not as good as I had remembered, but not bad. The calzone (veggie with sausage) was amazing. The wedding soup and their house salads were good. Our waitress Kaylee was attentive and a real sweetheart. The ambiance of the restaurant was pretty much like I remembered it, only updated. And thankfully you cannot smoke inside anymore - that is a HUGE improvement. Our booth was in the back (Southeast corner) and the bench against the exterior wall sloped down so it felt awkward. It needs to be propped up so you can sit comfortably. The place is a neighborhood landmark and the food is average.

Edgewater Inn, to me, is like that girl you went on a date with some Tuesday after work. You took her to dinner, the conversation wasn't great, and you never bothered to call. Then that weekend you're coming home from a bar absolutely shit faced when suddenly all you want to do is call that boring girl and screw her brains out because you're wasted and even though she was sort of a drag, dear lord she had an amazing rack. So you call her, and she's wild in bed. And then you decide you want to spend the rest of your life with her. Cheers

My favorite pizza place in Denver. The cold schooners of draught beer are the perfect compliment to your pizza. My go-to pizza is the "Sweetness", which I modify by adding jalapenos and ordering it "extra, extra, extra juicy". Awesome.

This is a great spot to grab a couple drinks, watch the game and order a pizza or a patty melt. Classic old Skool bar, nothing too fancy or a bunch of hype. We got The Easy Pizza, it was good, full of Flavor and fresh ingredients , I will come back.

The pizza here is really good, I think that it's a better experience to just order a pizza to go. I have been here a few times and am not impressed with the customer service. Whenever I sat at the bar and wasn't ordering an alcoholic beverage I felt like it was an inconvenience to the bartender, or at least that's how they came across. I'm not very fond of the interior and anything other than the pizza I'm not really a fan of, the salad was very boring and it just seemed like a place full of locals. I don't doubt I will eat the pizza there again, I just don't think I will dine in.

Stopped in on a cold night and say at the bar around 8pm. Ordered a pizza and two beers. We overheard them say they wanted to close early as it was slow and they locked the doors. From there in it was a race to see how quickly they could push us out. To go box delivered check. Spraying cleaning product near by check. Dropping the check and hovering check. Closing on a Saturday nite at 9. So Edgewater. I'm a native and the edge has lost theirs. Sad

I ordered pizza, went to the location and it was not ready. Left, and when I came back 15 minutes later the door was locked but people were still inside. Nobody answered the door for me even though people clearly saw me. Crappy. Not my first experience here...always slow service. Blah, not going back

This place was highly recommended by an old Edgewater neighborhood dweller that I met at the Broncos game. I got the Howdy Special and a couple of salads to carry out. She said it would be a half hour. I got there a little late and still waited 15 minutes for my order, but there was a really friendly waitress that chatted up NFL football with me while I waited so it wasn't so bad. The total came to around $28. The pizza easily weighed three to four pounds as it was over-packed with toppings. It definitely seemed worth the money. Food for three days and some light bicep workouts. Everything tasted okay. Nothing fancy. The pizza was a little on the bland side. I might go back one day since it's so close to my house, but I wouldn't jump in front of a car to make it happen.

Ordered a pizza from here since there are many raves about how great they are on yelp. I think it wasn't great at all. The crust is super thick and doughy so if u like pizza like this then this is your place. I'll stick to pizza alley for okay pizza at least I don't have to drive to get to them! If I'm gonna drive to get something it needs to be good! Us thai is right next to edge water inn best thai place! Go there instead.

This place has been around for a long time. Went with friends and I even drank beer. We had a meat pizza and a white pizza. Salads and a soup with spinach. The salad consisted of lots of lettuce and it was ok. The pizzas were good but I have had better but the whole experience was fun and I would certainly go there again. Thy had a sign up for help and my friends daughter went the next day and got the job. So for sure I will go back. I loved Edgewater and want to explore this fun neighborhood in the day. I loved the sign on our way out. Wish I could remember what it said. Dang! My group use to go fancy and now we are on the search for dives, diners, burgers, and joints. Any great suggestions always welcome.

This place has the decor of a west colfax dive bar and the food to match. It's a pizza place that is fully incompetent at pizza making. I don't get it! After moving to edgewater many people suggested this place to me. I've been there three times now. Once to check it out and twice more begrudgingly dragged along with friends. Each time it was the same. Slow service, 45min to an hour for a pizza(they were not busy), nearly raw crust and lame toppings.

I think I missed the boat on this one. ...or the time machine. They use canned mushrooms. Which I don't have a problem with, I was just sort of taken aback. I sent my sister a message about the mushrooms on the pizza. Her reply: "Where? Even Pizza Hut uses fresh." Speaking of Pizza Hut. It's been a while for me but I am thinking Edgewater Inn's crust is akin to PH's "pan" crust, only not greasy and delightfully yeasty tasting. Crunchy exterior, warm and chewy interior. I also ordered a side of sauce. It was tangy, and tasted like it was probably from a can (which if the mushrooms are any indication...). When The Dude and I first walked in, everyone at the bar (and a few patrons in the booths) all turned and looked in unison. Kind of eery, or maybe just funny like a movie scene ("ya'all aren't from around here, are yuh?"). The service was sufficient. I am pretty certain from looking around this place has a regular "regulars" base established. Still, we didn't feel unwelcome by any mean. I liked the red hue and Beach Boys music; it added to the "back in time" feeling I got from this place. However, trippy time warp feeling or not, it was not enough for me to make a return trip any time soon. The regulars can have their canned mushrooms. I'll grab a take-n-bake from down the street, or head further out of the 'hood to get some 'za more my style.

Great place with great service. Schooners are awesome (although heavy as hell). The entire place has a really friendly vibe. Even the regulars were very welcoming of newbies. Got a calzone which was great. Good bar, Good food, and Good people.

We visited Edgewater Inn a few weeks ago with our 4 month old and a couple of good friends. EI has been on my radar for quite awhile after I had heard that they have really good pizza in an old school atmosphere. I have been looking forward to this for a couple of years. You know what? It's A-OK! Good, solid pizza. Not the best I've ever had, and nowhere near the worst I've ever had. Plenty of toppings, solid and tasty crust, and plenty of cheese. The pizza we had was topped with sausage and mushrooms (we built our own) and was served hot out of the oven. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of slices of sausage on my pizza - I prefer the clumps (but not rabbit pellets: gross!) - but this sausage was pretty good even though it was sliced. We also had the cheese garlic bread, which was also very good. The atmosphere inside EI is also pleasing. It reminds me of the days long before granite counter tops and oversized everything. It probably feels cramped to a lot of people, but to me it feels cozy. The booths, tables, hell, everything is pretty old, but it gives the bar/restaurant character. I like character. It won't be a regular stop for me, but it will be a stop.

  • Trevor L.

This was our first time. There are only two reasons I'm not giving it five stars. 1. The red pizza sauce didn't have much flavor and tasted like something out of a can. 2. The decor was pretty dreadful. However, the BBQ chicken pizza was fantastic, the crust was great overall, and there was lots of cheese on all the pizza. We will be back for sure!

Love, love, love Edgewater's pizza. It's true, the service is sometimes spotty and there is often a crowd, but to me it's totally worth it. Favorite by far is the Sweetness sans black olives. It has an amazing flavor that is robust but not overpowering. It has American and mozzarella cheeses and the combo makes for a very creamy texture that you don't find on a lot of pizzas. Crust? Yum. Coming in a close second is the Big Easy - exceptionally yummy. They have a pretty great house salad - the Paisano - big enough to share and features pepperoni, olives, mozzarella and peppers and lots of other good stuff - also highly recommended. And as other posters have mentioned, the Moscow Mules are indeed something to experience. Yes it's small. Yes it's often crowded. Yes the service can be slow. But whether I pick up or dine in, I have never been disappointed in the pizza at the Edgewater Inn. P.S. every time I've gone the veggies are totally fresh - they DO use canned mushrooms though (God only knows why) so I'd recommend skipping them.

If you're looking for the classic New York pizza, Chicago style pie, or one of those wood-fired Neopolitans then the Edgewater Inn is probably not for you. There's a bunch of other spots around town for that itch. This is a fun, dive-type bar with their own style of pizza. Kind of like those stories where a scientist discovers a a group of people living completely off the grid that does things their own way, after damn near 60 years of evolving their pizza to fit the tastes of their mostly blue collar patrons you get what you have now. A unique pizza that usually hits it's mark, especially on those "grab some beers and get some good grub" occasions. This weekend a friend and I hit the bar for a drink and got a pizza to go, we were not disappointed. Yes, the Guinness was out of a can but they poured it into a schooner and all was well. The salads are decent, and I've helped take down a tower of onion rings that were above average. They have a few other apps, sandwiches, and something they call a canoli that would appear to be a stromboli. The main attraction is the pizza - and beer. My usual order is the Sweetness, a combo of pepperoni, sausge, hamburger, black olives (which I say hold 'em) and American cheese - which I have to say adds a level of creaminess that is surprisingly good. Also, as an added bonus they tilt towards the east when it comes to the choice of sausage. Sliced links, which usually have a much better flavor than the pre-cooked chunks of questionable content that is found at most other pizza joints. I've also enjoyed the Chicken Pesto, Howdy Special, and BBQ Chicken combos. Good location, easy parking, reasonably priced, and schooners of beer all add up to a fun way to spend some time with friends!

Haven't been here since I was a kid. Pizza is still amazing! Only one issue my husband and i faced on a Sunday evening a few weeks ago,was our bar keep unfortunately. Slightly rude and pushy but had beautiful tatoos I remember commenting. Had a hard time getting refills while waiting for our food. Also was MIA, seemed to be more intrested in what was going on in the kitchen rather then refill my husbands soda. We will be back but wont sit at the bar again.

This may sound crazy but my favorite thing to order here are their cheeseburgers. Now it's been awhile, however, just thinking about them makes my mouth water. Yummy! I MUST go back soon!! The pizza I always remember as good too but there's a place I like more close by.

You can get a cold beer anywhere, pizza mediocre , waiter ( Nick, the manager.. NOT!!! ) sucked. Our drinks were empty for 15 min and finally had to whistle to get his attention. When I paid our expensive bill for our so called pizza, he said I was rude for whistling at him, while he was just passing us by. Only way I could get his attention, not like most restaurants.Just wanting a nice night out.. NEVER going back!!!!!! Thanks Nick!!!!!

I shoulda done this a while back shortly after I came, but I'm barely getting into the "reviews thing", so now I'm finally here to rant. First off, I used to LOVE Edgewater Inn. When I lived in Denver a couple years back, this was the spot to go. It was soooo delicious. I drove the 20-25 mins to just pick it up or to dine in. It's worth it when the pizza is THAT good. Now? It freakin' SUCKS. The waitress wasn't even friendly AT ALL. The only time she smiled is when she gave us the check. The pizza? At 1 point, I thought "is this the same place, what happened to the pizza!?" It used to be sooooo good...now it's just...mediocre. My parents, who used to eat these used-to-be pizza goods were wondering, "what happened to the chefs? This shit sucks." Excuse their language, but I pretty much said the same. My regret? Is not complaining afterwards. I'm a girl that wants what she paid for & I regret not making a complaint. If anything, I just won't go here anymore & I'll just write a review to NOT recommend this place.

Small Mom and Pop shop kinda feel. I live nearby so here's my Edgewater Inn strategy: Walk over (in warm weather) Order pizza for take away Sit on one of the old stools at the bar and enjoy a couple cold beers (served in heavy glass schooners) or better yet (only in the hot summertime) get a couple Moscow Mules! (served in real Copper Mugs) Have a chat with the others at the bar- You never know who you will meet. Admire the worm bar surface where each drink has been served for maybe 50 or more years. Get pizza wrapped in foil to stay hot. Walk home happily Enjoy some of the most unique pizza you will ever eat! The crust is not NY Style. It is thin- but not a genuine NY. Not Deep Dish by far- but it is -- simply Edgewater Inn Style. Fresh meats, veggies and a good amount of cheese. The Edgewater Inn Pizza's tomato sauce is also unique-- hard to describe. Maybe I should order from them again sometime soon to deliberate and update...

I've enjoyed Edgewater for many years and, for the most part, it has remained consistant and good. I stick to the Howdy and the Sweetness out of habit. Can't go wrong as long as the chef cooks it long enough.

This is the worst service I have ever had. First we were seated with no menu then I asked it it was coke or Pepsi. They did coke, it's Pepsi. Then we ordered a dr pepper and the waitress walked past our table 6 or 7 times and never took away the Pepsi. We ordered a salad which so far hasn't shown up. The waitress seems extremely bored or pissed off. Or both. And she is just standing around talking to the bartender. Horrible. We also ordered garlic bread that we never got.

A coworker and I stopped in today for lunch. We'd had an underwhelming experience here last year but thought we'd give it another try (since it was the only restaurant open on that street). Unfortunately, we won't be back. First of all, it took around 40 minutes from when we ordered to get our food. I get it, real food takes time to make, blah blah. But when we're the only people in the restaurant, 40 minutes is a bit extreme. Especially considering that a table came in after us (20 minutes after us!) and were served their pizza before us. Maybe they called ahead or something, but we were not happy. Our server was attentive while we were waiting but never gave us any explanation as to what was taking so long. Secondly, the pizza needs salt. We had a white pizza and a combo pizza of some kind, and even when the pizza was covered in sausage, it still needed salt. The sauce had no flavor, the cheese had no flavor, the crust had no flavor. I did detect a little bit of olive oil flavor in the crust, but it came and went pretty fast. Third, they use canned mushrooms on their pizzas!!!! I wasn't sure before but my friend confirmed this. SLIMY and gross, especially for a place that's known to have the best pizza in town. As a positive, they did LOAD on the toppings. Again, though, they were flavorless toppings, so really what's the point?? (Except for the Italian sausage, which was fantastic!) A restaurant is nothing without great food, and I'm sorry to say, Edgewater Inn, you do not have great food.

Love this place. Good beer and great pizza. The atmosphere has a great "dive bar" feel. Love that. Feels like home in the place- not stuffy. Yes, canned mushrooms on the Howdy pizza. Don't seem to mind it though. Wish they were fresh but it won't stop us from ordering. Pizza is a great alternative to our #1 Ernie's Pizza. More neighborhood feel at Edgewater Inn. That is a plus.

Divey bar, hard pizza, soft beer. I love local dives and this is a total dive. The guy sitting next to me at the bar ate half a pizza. He boxed up the other half to take home and other random guy says, shouldn't you go home and take that pizza to your wife? Without taking his eyes off the tv, between sips of beer, he says, "nope, she'll be okay"; takes another 20 to polish off the schooner and leaves. Grizzled old guy, thanks for the ha ha. The crusty crust causes my gums to molt. Now I either have peridontal disease or this is some aggressive crust. Considering I have only had one cavity in my life, I'm guessing it's the crust. I'll try the calzone next time, they probably can't cook that to cardboard. Fortunately I had like, three schooners of beers so that numbed the pain a bit.

Pretty damn good! I had the white 'za with toasted pine nuts, roma tomatoes, and artichoke hearts. I don't do red sauce (EVER), so it's always good to find a pizza joint that offers a decent caucasian option! This one was tasty... very heavy on the garlic, very light on the artichoke hearts (not sure there were any, actually). But the addition of pine nuts was a stroke of brilliance! Definitely the high point of the 'za, right there. And really, who needs artichoke hearts anyhow? The crust is thinnish, but not crackery: a nice middle ground. And they're not shy with the cheese in this joint... at least not on the white 'za! My arteries are hardening as we speak. Service is nothing to write home about. Our waitress seemed a bit flustered, and brought us four sides of ranch dressing when only one was asked for. "This way you can each have your own," she volunteered. Okay, fine. But kind of weird when we got the tab and noticed that each side of ranch cost us fifty cents! No biggie, though... since my kiddo decided he wanted to take a splashy, ranchy bath in one of those little ramekins. Yeah... don't worry. I cleaned it all up. I'm good like that.

I don't get it. You get a giant schooner of beer that you either A) have to drink fast so that it doesn't get warm by the time to get to the bottom or B) pretend you're in Jolly Olde England and that the beer is supposed to be room temperature as it takes a while to finish a beverage of this size. Actually, I suppose its a good thing that they set you up with a beverage that will last 40 minutes, as that is how long the pizza will take (at least) and your server will likely not check on you in the meantime. As with many of the pizza joints in Denver (including Bonnie Brae Tavern), the sweetness of the crust is a big turn off to this Jersey Girl. The place always seems packed though, so someone must be drinking the Kool Aid. Its just not me.

I got some spaghetti to go. The spaghetti was cooked right, the sauce was typical, but wait. The meatball? Was still raw in the middle! Ick! The place was packed, some families had four people crammed in a booth plus two people just standing at the end of the table - umm is that allowed? It makes for a disheveled look, and a crammed restaurant. The to-go window is all the way in the back, kind of confusing but I figured it out. For what it's worth, I'd rather drive a few blocks out of my way for Pasquini's.

Been here three times now, in the three weeks we've lived in the neighborhood! Yes, the place is small, there's usually a wait, and the service isn't the best EVER. BUt the food is great, the drinks are generous and the prices are very, very reasonable. Went with the husband last night and we each got a Calzone (Which I highly recommend. WOnderful, hot and huge. We both brought leftovers home for dinner tonight), he had 2 beers and I had 3 mixed drinks, for about $40. I've only had their fries, onion rings, pizza and calzone. The fries where meh (frozen) but everything else was awesome. If you're in the neighborhood and want a yummy, affordable place to eat, definitely give this a try.

On a whim last night we decided to head out of the city to grab some eats. I had heard good things about the Edgewater Inn and this was my first time dining here. I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem just west of downtown Denver: Atmosphere: only a 5 minute drive west of Denver and you'll run into the small town of Edgewater. I honestly felt like I traveled to a town of 500 people going out to Edgewater. We ate out in their main dining room, there was no hostess so we seated ourselves. The decor was basic, though there were some LCD TV's to watch the Rockies game while we ate. It was comforting looking around the room to see lots of smiling faces and plenty of locals that were surely regulars to the Inn. All in all a very welcoming environment. Experience: It was refreshing to only drive 5 minutes and find this gem. The wait staff was great and quickly served us our drinks and apps. The service was quick and our waitress was pleasant. The Food: The Edgewater Inn come to find out is known for their pizza so we most certainly had to try it out. Before having our pepperoni, green pepper, and mushroom pizza we did have a small app. Our app was their cheesy garlic bread and it was nothing special, but it satisfied our growing hunger from errands all day in the city. The pizza at the Inn is all cooked in their brick oven. I am originally from the east coast and everyone in Denver knows that good pizza is hard to come by in these parts. The Inn changed that for me last night. The foundation to a great pizza is great dough and equally great crust. Their pizza did just that. I'm fairly certain that the crust was polished with both butter and salt to give a crispy salty taste. The cheese also seemed to be a combo of mozzarella and ricotta which made for a superior pie. Conclusion: I would highly recommend the Edgewater Inn to anyone looking for some great pizza and a pleasant environment. It truly is an escape to a small town just 5 minutes from Denver. I will be going back again soon. Specials: from 12-4 most days they have $1 Coors drafts and $1.50 Blue Moon drafts...a great deal for all those day drinkers out there.

Had the BBQ chicken pizza & wings. The pizza was overly spicy and I like spicy food. The spice was inappropriate for the pizza. The pizza was spicier than the undercooked wings!! The service was beyond horrible and came with extra bad attitudes. Lastly, the regulars are a pack of hawaiian shirt wearing, mean geriatrics. One of the old man regulars sitting at the bar yelled at a BABY for making too much noise. He actually yelled "knock it off!" at a baby for squealing. I guess it interfered with all the yelling the adults were doing at the sports on tv. This place is cramped, dirty and disgusting in every way. I will never spend another penny here.

This place has been nothing but disappointment. I have mostly had carry-out and the wait time is minimum an hour. The most recent experience was, waiting an hour for the food, getting home and the jalepeno poppers were completely raw. I live close by so I have found the place convenient, but I am done giving it chances. The food is sub-par and the staff does not care.

I've heard about it for years. I never made it there. We finally decided to take the plunge. Honestly, it wasn't good enough to make me want to come back. I'm glad I came and tried it, but I honestly think there are many places that have better pizza. It wasn't busy when we went there. We promptly got our schooners of beer. Now, I love me some schooners of beer. When we found out that's what they served, I was pumped. Unfortunately, that was the best part of the experience. We ordered our pizza, expecting it to take 20-30 minutes like it does at most places. We waited over 45 minutes for it to arrive. At one point, I honestly did not think our server had remembered to put the order in. After about 40 minutes, she came to let us know that it was coming, which I appreciated, but it took a REALLY long time (especially considering the fact that they were NOT busy at all). When it did arrive, it was piping hot out of the oven. We got like 4 toppings, two of them being meatball and sausage. I LOVED that they used sliced link sausage on the pizza instead of crumbled, but that was the biggest positive about the pizza. The meatballs were flavorless, and it was pretty light on the sauce. The crust was fairly good, but overall, the pizza was overwhelmingly average. There was just no "wow" factor. Like I said, I'm glad I came to try it. It has a lot of history, and the atmosphere is really cool. However, the pizza was just not good enough to hook me in for another visit.

This place is legendary, but the table service certainly is not. The pizza is unique, and delicious, as long as you don't come with expectations of pizzas you've had before. I am a crust lover, and EI has one of my favorites because it manages to be crispy, chewy and buttery all at once. Insider's tip: don't come too hungry, because you will wait 45 minutes for a pizza. Sit at the bar and order an appetizer to hold you over. And if there's a wait for a table, don't wait! Go across the street to the Providence Tavern for a less family-friendly, but undeniably more awesome experience.

Another "really wanted to like it" dissapointment in Denver. I'm not even sure why I'm giving it 2 stars - maybe because the staff is friendly. Otherwise a dismal waste of time. Pizza is dry, boring and bland. Clientele looks as confused as I am as to why it's so popular. I just don't get it.

This place is not a happy place. The pizza is disgusting, and the ingredients are not fresh. The service goes with the food. The employees give off a bad vibe, maybe it's because the restaurant smells like a bowling alley. If you're in the neighborhood go to US Thai instead or cross the bridge and go to Proto's!

The pizza is very good, the service is a bit slow but if you want a fake pizza go somewhere else. The Howdy pizza is my favorite. My only suggestion would be to use fresh mushroom over the canned ones, but not a deal breaker in my book. I will be back.

I like the atmosphere here, it's blue collar and has a good "outdoor" seating area for big groups. The beers come in big schooner glasses, can't beat that! The pizza is...... good. I have heard that it's the best pizza in Denver, of which I would not agree. I'm from Chicago, what can I say, I have high standards. The meat pizza is kinda gross with the meat selections they choose and the veggie style is kinda bland. The barbecue chicken pizza and the buffalo chicken pizza are where it's at. The pieces of chicken could be a bit smaller, but overall I've found that those two pizzas are the only two worth trying. They're not open on Monday's and there is a big parking lot across the street for additional parking. They've got a good reputation so be prepared to wait on the weekends. If you live in the area, order take out!

The pizza is delicious. That said, something in the white sauce made me quite sick, which I can't say was their fault or my stomach. The service is good, but not great and the value is questionable. The reason for the 3 stars is the wait time. I've been twice and both times I waited a good hour or more for the meal. This is tough when you are talking about a lunch hour grab. Food for thought...

Food-5 Service-4 I love the pizza at Edgewater Inn! We order it a lot for work functions. The most popular by far is the BBQ Chicken pizza (although too spicy for some). The service has always been great as well.

We finally gave it a try on Friday night and won't be going back! Save your $ and order Domino's or for a few dollars extra treat yourself to some real pizza at Basil Doc's! In a nutshell, it was the worst pizza we've ever had. I'm pretty sure it had Velveeta cheese on it & canned mushrooms and the place seriously smelled like dirty feet EWWW! I almost walked out just based on the smell but my husband wanted to give it a try. Bleh!

Umm YUM! When you're in the mood for sitting down and eating a rockin' pizza, Edgewater Inn is the place to go. I'm a fan of cheese and veggie style but my boyfriend was in the mood for a hefty pie. We got the biggest size pizza with three types of cheeses, black olives, ground beef, pepperoni and sausage on eight large slices. Oh man - I will never forget that sausage... Besides great pizza it's also a cool date place, with killer oldies playing in the background, 50s and 60s style. We also noticed that it's a great place to take someone if you don't want to be seen. (We witnessed a blind date gone stumbling drunk...it was amazing.) I guess it's a little pricey for pizza but when you see the toppings, you understand why. The beers were a deal - $3.75 for an enormous Blue Moon. The service was good around 8:00pm, I can imagine this place gets busy around peak hours. Love it..I can't stop thinking about the sausage and I want to get a calzone stuffed with it.

This place has a reputation for good pizza so I figured it was worth a shot. Arrived on a Thursday afternoon around 5:30 to a mostly full bar and restaurant. Ordered one of their specialty pizzas and began the wait. 45 minutes or so later the waitress comes by to tell us they made the wrong pizza. They did give us the mistake to munch in while we wait. Our order finally arrives another 25 minutes later as we are about ready to leave. Was the pizza worth the wait? Not in my opinion. Pizza was mushy and most of toppings were right out of a can. It you like NY style then you don't want pizza from here. To their credit they didn't charge us for any pizza and gave us the mistake to boot. Not sure if that makes up for the brick in my stomach. I would go back beer..maybe, but that's it.

Oh, yeah, definitely the best pizza around. If your mom could make great pizza at home with fresh-cut ingredients, this is what it would taste like. I've said many times: Edgewater Inn is what pizza tasted like before the chains industrialized it into universal averageness. One complaint, they don't deliver and won't let you call ahead with an order to pick up, so you have to wait while it bakes, so it's a 20- to 30-minute stop to get a to-go order, fortunately, just enough time for a cheap draft beer.

I heart this place! This hidden gem serves great pizza in a fabulous dive bar setting. The walls are decked out in local memorabilia in this neighborhood hot spot. The pizza crust is thick, but the perfect consistency. They have lots of signature pizzas to fit every persons palette, or if you want to be creative, you can build your own. They do not skimp on the toppings! Their marinara sauce is a little sweet. And on some of their pizzas, they squirt a little on top for some added color. The first pizza we got was squirted and I thought it was ketchup because of the consistency! I assure you, it is not ketchup... But I must admit it freaked me out a little initially. Be sure to order an extra large domestic cheap beer. They serve them in these huge glasses that closely resemble a fish bowl. My skinny arms had trouble picking it up! So perhaps you'll want to ask for a straw. ;) Definitely worth a visit!

After experiencing New York pizza, I didn't expect to be the least bit impressed by the pizza at Edgewater Inn. I was pleasantly surprised. I can't comment on aspects such as service since I didn't go to the restaurant itself (my mom brought some home with her from work -- she did mention that the pizza took a long time to come out), but the pizza itself was quite tasty. This pizza has a relatively thick crust, unlike the pizzas you get in New York. While I don't think this was the best aspect of the pizza, it certainly wasn't bad. The pizza didn't have a lot of sauce on it, so the toppings were what made it really tasty. The sausage tasted fresh and especially good, as if they sliced up an actual sausage and used it as a topping -- what a concept! The amount of toppings gave this pizza some bulk, so it was filling, too. Judging by the food alone, this place is solid.

This good, but not great. No love letter will be sent, and their pizza will not make an appearance in my head as I'm running like a hamster on my treadmill. The dough had a nice consistency: not too thick (for a medium crust), not crispy but not chewy..so props on that. The cheese was spread over the pizza like the blanket your grandma knitted with all the holes. Sorry but I like gooey cheese not "this is the last bit so stretch it out" storyline. The sauce: OK. Better than Papa johns but reminded me of condensed tomato soup. I no want soup I wants pizza! I'll go somewhere else, especially since this is not in my neck of the woods.

It's not my favorite style of pizza, but I still like it from time to time. The atmosphere is really what draws me in. On a chilly or rainy night i like to belly up to the bar where the service is usually pretty good.

I like this place way more than the quality of the pizza should justify. But the schooners of beer are awesome, the tower of onion rings is fantastic, and the local color provided by the regulars and staff makes for a fun night out. Plus, it's walking distance from my house. And the pizza? Meh, the pizza is pretty average. But overall the Edgewater Inn is an entertaining place, and somewhere that should be experienced at least once by anybody living in the Denver metro area.

Finally tried Edgewater Inn... I was in the area yesterday just in time for lunch, and thought it was a great opportunity to try this place that I have heard so much of. I heard so many great things of the Pizza, and what a great bar it is and so on and so forth. I looked through the menu and ordered a meatball sandwich and the "Howdy " Pizza that me and my lunch date would share. This place is a bar, more than a restaurant, I was always led to believe it was more of a restaurant, not so. The service was not so great in having to flag & wave down a guy who looked like he just woke up. I realize it may either be a family ran joint, or they have some of the slowest staff I've seen in awhile, i.e., running at the speed of molasses... Anyhow on to the food, the meatball sandwich was not very good it had meatballs that tasted like, well, it's hard to describe, dried beef w/ very little salt, no spice, and cracker meal, the sandwich was disappointing, Along came Howdy....the Pizza, I was excited to try the venerable much heralded Pizza. After the first slice it reminded me of what "Pizza hut" may have been in the development stages before they got it right, and this pizza just wasn't right. The dough tastes like sort of like "pizza hut" except "pizza hut is much better" and some of the toppings were canned. Although the sliced sausage on the pizza was decent, the rest the pizza failed miserably. Overall this pizza was a big disappointment. I really don't understand the following here.... but then again....it's a BAR! After a few drinks hell anything looks & tastes good... But for a sober matey AARRRGGG!!!!!...it's hard on the taste buds.....;(

I first walked into the banquet room, not realizing. people were looking at me, so I said, "so I just go in here and make myself comfortable?" a nice girl with a Miller Light bottle said, "yea, come on in! you want a beer?", and gave me a beer. = man, this place is great! = "do you have whisky?", (I don't usually drink beer). "huh - you're getting started early, aren't you?", she replies. turns out it WAS the banquet room and I walked into a celebration of life for Ron, who just passed away. I don't know Ron; it was a private party. I found the entrance on the corner. man, what a great place; I was so comfortable here. Guiness and a Jameson's, neat. my buddy had a ginormous bowl of Coors draught and a Glenlivet with a few rocks. Howdy pizza and mozz stix. I ended up only eating one slice - the toppings were generous, to say the least, and the pie was great! Kelly, our bar tender was pleasant, attentive, and charming. I've spoken to natives in the area (the few that remain), and they all rave about this place. but only when I've brought it up. I'm so glad I finally made it; I'll be back again for the calzones.

The Inn, as some of us know it has gone through some rollercoaster like changes in the past ten years or so. I actually worked there, making pizza's, in the good old days of Ben DiPietro. I think its come full circle again with the addition of a few menu items and some new friendly faces. It gets busy at nite/on weekends. The staple here is the "howdy" pizza and the scooner. I'm a fan of the "jeeper" calzone personally.

Pizza, Pizza, Pizza. I love all the different combos of toppings. I am like a kid in a candy store at this place. I can seriously eat here until I drop. Oh, and that is not even mentioning the size of the schooners. It is like drinking beer out of a bowl . . . Yay!

I've been going to the Edge for about 15 years and unfortunately, at this moment, it's at another low point (there was another about 8 years ago). I have figured out that what's lacking during these low points is management, or lack thereof. The service the last few times we've been there has been HORRIBLE and the food has been way below par. I guarantee the food, service and my rating will improve as soon as the owner hires another good manager. When the Edge is on the top of its game it is deserving of it's iconic reputaion.

I did really like the pizza here but the service was ridiculously slow. The pizza is doughy (my fav) and the pizzas are cheesy! Not too much sauce. The beers are cold and big, but it will take you forever to get a refill. I think if we go back here it will be for take out, because I just don't have patience like that for pizza. Granted it was a busy Thursday night and we were warned about how long the pies take to cook, but come on lady, keep the beers coming at least!

When I moved to Edgewater 4 years ago, this was the first and only Edgewater business that I heard about from friends and family. It's an entrenched landmark in the Denver area and probably the one reason most people I meet know that Edgewater isn't a city somewhere on the Western Slope. Needless to say, once my wife and I were settled in our new house, we jogged on over to try it out. After we finished up and left, I got the feeling that I was missing something that everyone else was seeing. See, it's not that the bar isn't fast and fully stocked. And the decor, though dive-ish, is entirely appropriate for the location. It's that everything is just very so-so. At the risk of being greeted some random afternoon by a gent who is intent on busting some kneecaps, I would say that Edgewater Inn's one weakness is actually it's pizza (and other food). I consider myself a bit of a pizza nut, though perhaps my tendencies run counter to the mainstream, and I found Edgewater Inn's lacking. I haven't been able to understand why it's so revered for it's pies. The crust consistency was decent and the sauce more than tolerable, but the toppings were awful. The cheese has always tasted off to me dough is a bit soft for the crunchy bottom. Other menu options are fine for general fare (well, perhaps the spicy ravioli is a bit underwelming, especially at nearly $1 per ravioli), but nothing stands out. The schooners are a nice, unique touch. 22 oz. (I believe) of beer in a glass heavy enough to be used as a medieval mace. The liquor selection, though not broad, covers all the bases. Drink prices are spot-on for what I'd expect from a place like this too. Service has been touch and go. It seems like they're understaffed sometimes, resulting in long waits, but the servers are always very nice. Overall (as you can see) I'd give it a 3. When other places are crowded or just to far away to bother with, I'd head here. Otherwise, I can usually find a reason not to go.

My husband and I moved to Edgewater in the Fall of '08 and are totally hooked on Edgewater Inn! The only downfall is that the bill always makes us say "ouch" and we don't even booze it up anymore. So for being slightly overpriced, -1 star. Otherwise, the pizza is SO. FLIPPIN'. GOOD! And despite the price, we always come back. I love, love, love the chicken Alfredo pizza. Yummy garlic cloves, tomatoes and juicy grilled chicken chunks atop loads of creamy Alfredo sauce = scrumdiddlyumptiousness! My hub never strays from the BBQ chicken pizza which is stacked with those same yummy chicken chunks, jalapenos, purple onions and an a$$ kickin' BBQ sauce. Since we live so close, most of the time we just get it to go. The atmosphere is "dive-ish" as another reviewer said, but always clean and excellent service. Best pizza I've ever had, now that's a bold statement!

What makes the Edgewater Inn special? - Good pizza, especially for Denver. - Schooners of beer. - Some crazy drink made with ginger beer that you drink out of a copper cup which I forget the name of. - The fact that they are horribly mistaken by calling their calzones "cannolis," but will fight you tooth and nail about it if you bring it up to them. - It's what a neighborhood bar is really all about. - It's good for people watching, in the sense that you will be under the impression that you are, by far, the most sane person in the joint. You gotta love this place.

This was, hands down, the worst experience at a restaurant I have ever had. Period. My boyfriend went there before, and loved the scooners of beer, so he wanted to take me there for a date. He did not try the pizza when he was there, so he thought it was a great idea for us to go together to try out the food. We walked in on a Wednesday evening, and were seated immediately, even though they were full. So, it seemed promising. After waiting for the waitress for 20 minutes, we ordered 2 scooners of beer - a coors light for me and a coors heavy for my boyfriend. We also placed our pizza order and mozzarella sticks. We got the scooners of beer 10 minutes later (please count the time with me people - we are at 30 minutes), and both were coors heavy. I am picky about my beer, and so I had to send it back. 5 minutes later, I got the right beer, and we received the mozzarella sticks. The mozz sticks were average. We ate those, and then waited for our pizza. 10 minutes. 20 minutes. 30 minutes. 40 MINUTES... (We are now at an hour and 15 minutes) and have had a grand total of 2 beers and mozzarella sticks. People around us were all getting their pizza and FINISHING. The couple next to us even offered to give us a slice of theirs! We finally get our pizza, and its undercooked. And when I say undercooked, the dough was so soft that I tried to take a slice, I had to use 2 forks to shovel the pizza onto my plate. I got the waitress, and sent it back. She agreed that it was undercooked, and assured me that she would remedy the situation, and that it would only be 20 minutes for a brand new pizza. So, I decide to wait for the pizza (STUPID DECISION on my part - we should have just left at this point!!). We got the #2 pizza now at an hour and 35 minutes after walking in the door. And guess what - the PIZZA WAS STILL UNDERDONE. The manager at this point came over and comped the bill, and gave us a certificate to come back in on him. That was awesome, and I have to give the management credit. So, we came back 2 weeks later to give it another chance - this time for lunch. No one was in, so we sat at the bar. AGAIN ANOTHER HOUR FOR PIZZA AND IT WAS UNDERDONE! Moral of the story - screw me once, shame on you. Screw me twice - and you get a bad yelp review!!!

For the love of pizza, please come here! Edgewater Inn is a small local favorite and the perfect place to indulge your pizza whims. My family ordered three pizzas last night and nothing remained. Even the stray pineapple and pepperoni found their way into a mouth. What makes these pizzas so famous is their crust-buttery crisp and the cheese-flavorful and abundant!. The Inn is like a small warm dark pub. Our waitress was efficient and the overall experience will hopefully be repeated many times in the near future.

Very tiny interior and street parking make the place initially unattractive. The big-ass 'barrel' beer glasses guarantee you won't be tossing them back with gusto. Bluemoon on tap is decent, don't remember if Pabst was an option. The white pizza is the one to get; it's amazingly good and thin so you can eat a whole one yourself, tubby. If they were closer to downtown this place would be amazingly popular.

This place has great pizza, and its sandwiches are good. The beer selection lacks but you can schooners for cheap. Been going there since I was little and the place hasn't changed much which I like. the back patio is new and its a welcoming environment, again its a Denver institution you can't miss. If you do pass, its your loss.

I've probably eaten here 5 times in the last 30 years! Some of my friends won't eat pizza from any place else. I like the pizza here, it's just I have other places nearby that I like more. But in the interest of my newfound knowledge of what makes a pizza a better pizza I thought I would retry their pie. We had the Big Easy pie and it was good medium thick chewy crust pie topped nicely. My wife noticed the yeast flavor to the crust but I didn't think it was overly present. I liked the air in the crust and thought it was cooked very well. This definitely isn't a pie that would rock the world but I could see how it could be a lot of people's favorite pie. I'm really getting stingy with the stars lately and this could easily get at least another half star. The wait and bar staff are top notch. The Edgewater is a good representation of what the best local bars in North Denver were and this place still is.

Because it's only three blocks away, I've been to the Edgewater Inn on several occasions. The atmosphere is a total Denver dive bar. The food is OK. I honestly didn't like the pizza much - it seemed very heavy and the crust was soggy. Could have been a bad day - I think I've only had it once. The appetizers and other food are typical bar food. The prices for the food and drinks are very reasonable. I really enjoy going during non-peak hours - it's a great place to lounge and enjoy some cold beer!

Good pizza and beautiful schooners of beer! Don't go to this place too hungry, because it takes awhile to get your pizza, but it's worth the wait. Great pizza and it's always on 'Denver Best Of ' lists. Stay away from the mushrooms though. They use those weird canned sliced mushrooms. Yuck.

We've been looking for a good pizza place on our side of Denver-- and this is the best one we've found so far. The crust was really good, the toppings were generous and reasonably tasty, and the sauce was flavorful without being overwhelming. The salad was 80's style salad with mostly iceburg lettuce with a very few "field greens" on top, onion slices, cheese, crutons fresh from a box, hard tomato slices and even pepperoni slices. It wasn't really bad...it was just that kind of salad. The beer was served in really heavy bulb shaped glasses and you could even get a "tomato" beer (but we were too scared.) It's definitely loud. It's definitely fine to bring kids. And it's crowded. Overall, I'd say it's a good place to go if you live nearby--but don't go too far out of your way for it. And if you go, go early.

We ate at the Edgewater Inn on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 5:30 p.m. We went early because we know it gets busy. We ordered the Howdy pizza. Because we know that the pizza takes awhile we ordered a dinner salad and a cup of soup. We asked for water twice. The waiter came back and asked if my husband wanted water too. Got the wine and beer before the water. After 45 minutes, I asked the waiter if he remembered that we had ordered soup and salad. He told us the kitchen was backed up. One hour afer we sat down we got our soup and salad. We were still waiting for our pizza when the waiter brought our check. My husband reminded him that we ordered a pizza, the waiter said he would put a rush on the pizza. Another 25 minutes. No offer of any type of compensation. I looked around and there was a line out the door but no food other than appetizers was being served to anyone at the tables. What is going on with this restaurant? Is it the disorganization of the kitchen and waitstaff? Two hours we were there. When we were leaving we remembered why we had not been there in a few years. We like the place, we love the pizza, we hate the inexcusable wait.

pizza was strange here, reminded me of stuff you can get in a college cafeteria, though maybe better quality. is that the 'old school' of pizza? i am not sure. a lot of older folks seem to like it, and i could see the nostalgic draw here, but umm.. the place just isn't for me.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
