Stopped in for breakfast before our trail ride. I ordered the stacked breakfast enchiladas with beef, over-medium eggs and the hot chile. The entire plate was excellent. The hashbrowns were cooked perfectly, as were the eggs. The enchiladas were delicious and the hot chile was just right.

A favorite! Appreciate the owner's commitment to community helping the community Thanksgiving meal happen. Also good food, good portions, good price. More vegetarian options & healthy ones available too! One of my favorite wait persons works here, too: Andrea! Bright, cheery, fast, efficient, friendly. It's got a diner feel, and there's outside seating now too. They also deliver! From tuna melts to veggie skillets to enchiladas & warm chips & salsa, everything tastes good & most freshly prepared! Any day you are above ground & eat here is a good day!

Great breakfast. Great service. Friendly, even the locals. We were a group of 12. They offered tips for our travel and the local customers joined in. We came back the next morning.

I wish I could give this restaurant 10 stars. The meal my husband and I shared was so fresh and delicious. This was one of the best value meals I have had (deliciousness compared to price). We walked into the diner south of town. We were greeted so warmly. I had a vegetarian burrito and my husband had a Cobb salad. I questioned his choice in this diner, but the romaine was fresh and the bacon perfectly cooked. Everything is cooked from scratch, even the fries. I can't wait to go back. A comment to the folks who complained both about their biscuits and gravy AND not seeing a gluten-free menu. Ummm....aren't biscuits and gravy entirely filled with gluten? And, don't people know when they order biscuits and gravy that they are ordering a carb-fest?

There are good intentions behind the food, but it did not satisfy. Biscuits and gravy are made with chicken gravy and is overly salted. We ordered two large juices and were surprised that two 32oz glasses of juice came out (methinks this is why the bill was so high for two). There is a gluten free menu, but we didn't realize we had to ask for a separate menu when seated. I give points for striving to be gluten free AND a breakfast joint. That's a lot of extra work on their part. Service was slow and our server forgetful. People seated after us were served immediately (perhaps they are daily diners). Our two meals came just shy of $30! HOLY CANNOLI! Nowhere in Durango have I ever paid that much for breakfast for two, ever... I may give this place a try again and explore the gluten free menu, but as for our first visit it was not stellar.

A hidden local gem. The place where locals go and I seen why. The staff greets you when you arrive as if you were an old friend. The food is homemade greatness

Great service and food was spectacular! Kassidy was overly friendly and loved to chat while we were eating the food. The cook kept coming out and giving our table "gluten free samples." My moms burger would not be ordered again but my burrito special was so big it immediately went into a to go.

I love breakfast done well and Kassidys Kitchen fits the bill. My favorite restaurant in Durango for tying on the feed bag, They serve up large portions of well cooked comfort food. The prices are very reasonable (add short stack of pancakes for a $1 to really fatten up), the servers are friendly and fast. Every time I go there it is packed and they deserve their level of popularity. Thanks for the great food Kassidys Kitchen!

So friendly, so delicious, so fast...what's not to like here? We had a really enjoyable lunch here during a recent Durango visit, and we'll definitely return if we're in the area again.

Great diner food (I had huevos rancheros), breakfast all day, fabulous wait staff, and the owner stops by to check out your satisfaction. Couldn't be better. One of the best spots to stop for a bite in Durango.

Breakfast was amazing. Best bacon I have ever had. Best biscuits and gravy in the region. Small place filled with friendly locals. Amazing home made blueberry pancakes.

Breakfast. Blueberry pancake and bacon, real maple syrup. Reasonable portion size, typical diner quality, good service, coffee was weak and unremarkable. But I'd go back.

Equal to local favorites Oscar's and Durango Diner on food quality and quantity but this place has a much better and diverse menu. Chocolate chip pancakes as large as the plate, great omelettes with fresh ingredients and home made biscuits, gravy, etc. Family run and full of locals in this hard to find diner behind the Comfort Inn on Hwy 550. A must visit for breakfast each time we are in Durango.
