Went to their Mother's Day Brunch, which was supposed to be by reservation only. The place was packed, which was apparently too much chaos for the waitstaff to handle. During our time there, we encountered different waitresses who would visit our table and ask us if we needed refills, which we all needed on this 80 degree weather day. However, the waitresses would disappear and would not return. After an hour of waiting for our order, another waitress showed up asking for refills. This time, she refilled our ice tea, but only without ice. Apparently, they had run completely out of ice. At this point the other patrons at my table were starting to get upset. They were able to run down a waitress to ask how long the wait would be. It turns out that our order was just now getting started. Unfortunately, this was the last straw and forced us to pack up and leave. When leaving, we found out that they had allowed eight tables of non-reservation guests to dine. Don't get me wrong, the food is delicious, but they just aren't prepared to handle a full house.

Great outdoor seasonal atmosphere - enjoyed the live music & rotating appetizer menu for Friday (FAC) happy hour. Downside - lack of upscale variety for dinner ...menu is geared towards a healthy lighter side so if you are a big "meat & potatoes" kind of eater you should pass up dinner and just enjoy a beer or cider :) *favorite non carbonated gluten free sippin cider :)

Great, fresh food! Vegetables are grown on site. The staff was wonderful, great little store to shop in. The fries, were very salty! We will make it a normal spot when in town. Great to see something in a small town that is not a greasy spoon.

Good food, locally sourced ingredients, but slightly overpriced and portions are small. We had the ginger lime chicken and a Thai salad. Chicken was a little dry and not much of it in the salad. Salad had lots of cabbage, needed more sauce and veggies but good flavors. Overall a good meal and impressed that there is such a place in Delta. We spent about $45 for lunch, which included one beer.

We called in advance to be sure they had a vegetarian menu, they confirmed and when we arrived there was only one sandwich on the small menu. Everything else had meat, there was nothing special, just one of there listed sandwichs, but without meat and it was a very small portion for the same price as meaty sandwiches. It came with a tiny side of our choice and a large bill. The service was also super slow, the only thing we liked was the garden shop before you get to the actual bistro.

Tried this place for the first time today. Completely different than anything we've seen in Delta. The menu offerings were a pleasant suprise from salmon dishes to homemade mulberry jam. The f ood was delicious and the staff was very attentive if not a bit too much lol. But they were very nice. I recomend the spinach and mushroom quiche! A walk through the nursery afterwards is a great way to end the meal :) A beautiful new favorite!

For first impressions, The Garden Center is as good as it gets here in Delta. As it's name might indicate, the Bistro is to be found on the premises of a nursery, nestled among gardening supplies, fountains, shrubbery, articles of home decore, gifts, wine, etc. If you opt for the patio, your nose will be tickled with the drifting scents of fertilizers, soil amendments, and pesticides, while your meal will be naturally supplemented with proteins from airborne gnats. The food is generally pretty good, but each time I've been there, it seems that the very thing I want from the menu is sold out. If it's available, their salmon is excellent, otherwise, the standard offering are a bit plain. The wait staff is on par with the rest of the area's restaurants, which is to say that you will get what you ask for, but you have to ask for it; they won't take notice on their own. Sunday brunches are kinda nice, as the menu offers a little bit of breakfast and a hint of lunch, without being drowned by too many options. Overall, the place is clean and tidy, the atmosphere is pleasant and mellow, they offer some rather unique specials from time to time, the food is always good, the service is sufficient, and prices are fair. Be sure to take some time to wander the gift/home/garden shop; you are likely to come away with something that will be the envy of your neighbors.

Small portions for the price. Slow and inattentive service. Short menu. Eaten twice there and not impressed with the quality of the food and the served temperatures of our meals were a bit cool. Decore is a little too quaint for my tastes; trying to lure a clientele that doesn't exist in Delta. Doesn't work. Sorry.
