The place isn't much to look at but the food was good and definitely a local hangout. The place was bigger than it looked. The burgers are hand made, thick and juicy. I had the smothered green chile burger and it comes "open faced" with their salsa verde with simmered pork. A little strange but quite tasty and I would order it again. My spouse had the pineapple burger and she quite liked that too. The meat was very good and I don't think it had been frozen. We both were very pleased that we could substitute a salad for the fries. We'd been traveling a needed a break from potatoes! There was a robust menu if you weren't in the mood for burgers. The service was efficient and friendly and the local dinners friendly too helping us decide our route. We had a nice lunch.

Great breakfast! Had the biscuits and gravy that came with two eggs, ham, bacon, or sausage, and hashbrowns. It definitely hit the spot. My husband had the chicken fried steak that came with two eggs, hashbrowns, and toast. He topped it will pork green chile. He's hard to please, but was satisfied. I thought the green chile was delicious...needed a little salt, but still pretty good. And the best part is that they serve liquor! Mimosa score! I asked for a regular one, and the waitress suggested the addition of pear vodka, which is a local favorite. Of course, I was in! It was really good. Service was great. Plenty of Tabasco, Cholula, ketchup, jam, etc. The bill rounded out to about 27 bucks, which was fair. Definitely glad we stopped! Check out our breakfast pics. I also uploaded menu photos.

We stepped in on a Sunday afternoon, about 12:30 to get some lunch. The menu looked delicious and we both ordered the Green Chili smothered hamburger with french fries. Both of them were thoroughly cooked on the outside but at best rare in the middle. I didn't mind and finished my plate but my Dad was much more concerned about improperly cooked meat and didn't eat his. I don't know if this was because the kitchen used frozen patties or because they had their grille turned up too high. The green chili was forgettable at best. I think I saw two or three small diced pieces of pork in mine and my Dad found giant squishy pieces of an unidentifiable food in his. They could have been potatoes but neither of us knew what it was. The food was at best average. Also when the manager told the kitchen staff to check the hamburgers because they were going out raw someone yelled back a snarky comment that we couldn't quite make out. They weren't exactly slammed with business at that point in the day either. The two stars really don't do them justice, but the description to the stars does. "Meh. I've experienced better." I'm sure I'll go back but I'll be far more thorough in checking my food next time. The manager was very nice and did comp both of our meals. So its unlikely their food issues lay with management.

Had the 1/2 biscuits and gravy, husband had chicken fried steak. The hash browns were good, and so was the gravy. They only had two servers there, so service was a little slow. And yay they serve alcohol!

Stopped in for breakfast after a morning hunt. Disappointing hunt, GREAT breakfast. I actually had lunch, a French dip with hashbrowns instead of fries. My dad had breakfast, sausage and eggs and it was reported to be good eats too. Service was very fast and very nice. This is the spot for a meal.

The cashier at 7 Eleven gave us good advice on a lunch recommendation! Our Club & BLT were made with very good meat. The tomatoes tasted like tomatoes. Our side of cole slaw was fresh crisp and NOT swimming in mayo. Nancy our server was nice and ver efficient. If you love a good diner this is the place. Just passing thru Craig but we would eat here again!!

Totally unexpected and fantastic. We stopped in an 1:45, and it closes at 2. The owners were extremely nice and welcoming. The father/cook gave us suggestions for his favorites and they were great. We had his take on the pastrami and a slopper. I usually hate green chili, but this was great. It is not slimey! It was thick and meaty with a great kick, totally unexpected. I would rate this as a great find, and a place to come back to.

Excellent family run restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. I've had both on two separate occasions and enjoyed both. The service is great and the owner/chef came out and spoke with me. For lunch I had the French dip which was moist and flavorful. Thinly sliced beef with homemade dipping au jus and melted cheese upon a fresh baguette. For breakfast I had a Denver omelette and hashbrowns. The omelette was fluffy and full of fresh chopped veggies, hashbrowns were plentiful, nicely cooked and not greasy.
