Great sauce and pizza, very friendly staff. Their green chili is excellent!

Stopped by for a late snack. The chicken club was flavorful and the service was superb. It was a little warm in the place, but food was good.

This is the best pizza in the valley: the right balance of toppings and cheese, and perfect on the herbs. We've gotten the Supreme, the Greek, the one with the artichoke hearts (my daughter is a vegetarian) and it's always good. The vegetables are crisp and flavorful. I can't say enough good things about it!!

Found this place on Yelp. We had the dinner buffet and it was outstanding. Service was very good. Blows away Pazzos. Best value in Avon.

This was worse than the pizza they served in a school cafeteria. Awful!

As a local, this is the place I go to for the best take-out pizza in Avon. They have an expansive menu and a decent looking dining room but all I've ever tried is their pizza.

We've been to this place twice now, and really enjoy it. Really delicious red sauce. There's nothing in particular that makes this pizza stand out, it's just that they make really good pizza. Sometimes it's just that simple. We've had carry out both times, and its still great when you get it home. They also have good prices and quick turnaround time. It also passed my true pizza test: how does it taste cold the next morning with a fried egg on top? In this case: excellent.

BEST PLACE IN THE VALLEY! Great menu with a wide variety of items, all homemade, great portions, great prices! I really want to give this place more stars...just based on customer service via a phone delivery order. The girl that answered was so sweet & my delivery dude was super rad! But the pizza....it was sooooo greasy in the middle, it was soupy. :( Disappointed after the great service I received because I'll never order from here again.

I had a BLT roasted chicken salad that was good. But even better was the service. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Fantastic pizza! Ate here several times during a week in Vail Valley- super affordable, great service and really good pizza. We had the Dracula- great smoky meats, the Margherita- fresh basil you could smell across the room and also the gluten free versions + the Greek pizza. The cheesy bread was also delicious. Good beer selection- minimal wines but not important. Don't be fooled by the strip mall location- good food, very nice waitstaff and great service- don't miss it.

Update: went back again because it seemed fitting to both begin and end our trip to Colorado with such a great restaurant. We ordered a calamari appetizer, a pepperoni and sausage calzone, an extra large half Fire Chicken half Spinach Artichoke pizza (yes, spinach artichoke is just that good), and an extra large supreme pizza. Everything was just as good as last time. As a tip, try their hot sauce on the pizza, it's great. I'm not usually one to tolerate spicy foods, but I really enjoyed their hot sauce and Fire Chicken pizza. To add on to how impacted I am by the friendliness of their staff, the owner as well as the waitress we had last time came over to welcome us back. Being recognized as a returning customer really made my experience special, and I will definitely recommend this place to my other friends who come visit Colorado.

Today I had the best pulled pork sandwich I have ever had and the woman running the show gave the friendliest and most courteous service. A great spot for lunch.

The workers were nice and our food came out pretty fast. The pizzas crust tasted really good and the sauce wasn't too sweet or salty. I'm glad we came here instead of the other pizza place!

Best customer service one can get. The food was awesome and underpriced for the quality and quantity I received. I will without a doubt be back again.

Just happened across this place as we were searching for lunch for our family. Very friendly service. Greeted warmly and it's definitely a well maintained family restaurant. Really respect that they're closed on Sunday's. Buffet was a great deal and food was fresh, warm and very tasty. Would definitely come here again if we're in the area. Thanks for a great experience!

Ate here the last day of family vacation. The service was good and everyone was extremely friendly. The pizza was great. We ordered some wings after smelling the sauce on the table. They were fantastic but it was a ton of food. If we come back to the area again we would definitely eat here again

Stumbled upon this place after getting terrible service at Montanas smokehouse (didn't even get handed menus after sitting there for 30 minutes, so we rolled out) and it was a blessing in disguise. Small comfy spot with a few tables, small bar and TV. Planned to get the pizza to go but ended up just staying because of the good vibes. Ended up getting great pizza and surprisingly a great burger. All for a very reasonable price. Don't think you'll be disappointed if you hit up Gondola.

Excellent pizza (pineapple express). The kids loved the cobb salad. Great music. Good service and not very expensive.

Good deals. This is a great option for a casual dining experience. Decent food, reasonable prices and good service. Ambience wise I like it better then Pazzos because it doesn't have such a bar feel and the staff isn't so grungy.

I just love this place. The owners are awesome and take genuine pride in making sure customers have a good experience. There aren't a lot of places in the valley I have been continually impressed by, with both food and service, but Gondola keeps me coming back time and time again. They have gluten free pizza and I love the Cobb salad!!!

This isn't the best pizza in the world but they do an awesome affordable lunch buffet in the vail valley. They have a salad bar that is always fresh and tasty. Couple different soup options. A self serve soda station. Bread sticks, cinnamon sticks and of coarse pizza. I like the pineapple ham or the supreme. Nice and clean , relaxed atmosphere , friendly staff. Lunch buffet leaves you feeling stuffed!

Great little find! Stumbled upon this spot while driving around looking for somewhere local to eat. The lady who took our order (maybe the owner?) was very sweet and talkative. Food was good; Beer was cold and we walked away full and buzzed for under $30.

Delicious pizza, crips and tasty. We had Margherita and Chicken Alfredo. Also, the sweet potato fries were amazing!!!! Super recommended!

Their food is absolutely delicious, I had the meat ball spaghetti.

The service is horrible and every item is overpriced. The employees are stupid and not helpful at all. I have been going to them for years and now I will tell everyone I know to stay away.

Gondola Pizza has become one of my favorite restaurants in this valley. I have had their sandwiches and burgers, and they are fantastic! I believe that their burgers are better than Larkburger! I have yet to try their pizza, but I look forward to stopping by and trying it. They have the BEST prices for quality food. We always get great service, which is very hard to find here!

Stick to the pizza and calzones - the appetizers were pretty awful. Tasted like everything had been freezer burned and heated more than once. But the calzone was delicious.

Friendly, great customer service, food was great and prices reasonable. Clean environment and we would definitely return.

Went stayed in Avon for a week, and we ended up eating here 3x! Great for kids, we only planned one meal out a day, and you must try the lunch buffet during the week. The owners were super kind to my children, and we rarely eat out, so this was a huge treat for us on vacation. DO NOT MISS IT!

Good family pizza place...I can tell that they truly care about what they make and the people who enjoy it. New favorite pizza place in the area!

Had a long afternoon skiing and didn't want to go out. Heard about this place and we thought 'oh well, delivery pizza/Italian' but we were beat. Called them, they were great, wanted to modify their standard calzone, the wife and I like wine with dinner, no problem, got that too. We weren't expecting much, another over priced resort town pizza joint. It was really good. The cheesy bread was garlicky, very good. The calzone was outstanding, and a bottle of Pinot to boot! And they brought it right to our room so no having to go out. Recommend and we'll definitely be back.

Yuck. The concierge at the Bachelor Gulch Ritz told me this was the best local pizzaria. If that's true, Avon, Colorado is the worst place on earth for pizza. Don't order the margarita pizza - it's essentially an american cheese pizza (i don't believe they understand what a maragarita pizza is). Don't order the Gondola pizza - the smell of it made me want to vomit. In general, don't go to this place for food.

Best lunch deal in the Vail Valley. A pizza buffet with salad, bread sticks, and a drink for $9.99. I usually hate buffets, but this place is so CLEAN and has great food. The owners are always nice and friendly. I love the outside seating in the summer. They always have great specials on while pizza.

Best pizza in town. I love the calzones. The ingredients are fresh and I have always experience friendly waitstaff. Don't eat the breadsticks if you plan on making out but do if you plan on chasing away vampires!

I absolutely love the food, atmosphere, and service! I would (and do) recommend this place to anyone. Gondola Pizza has become my go-to lunch spot in the valley. I try to order something different every time. I have yet to be disappointed in any of their selections so far.

Good pizza place. We ordered the Mediterranean Chicken Pizza, which tasted good. We went a lil' later, around 8pm, so it wasn't too busy. I'll go back the next time in the area.

Now, we're from Chicago - visiting Beaver Creek for vacation - so our expectations for pizza are sky-high. Gondola Pizza did not disappoint. Dining room seating is at picnic tables so we chose to eat al fresco during a thunderstorm (there are a few outdoor tables that are covered). The abundant breadstick appetizer was very good; obviously made from pizza dough. Nice! The calzone was delicious, too. And, the pizza? Not bad at all. The toppings were varied, the crust was flaky and light, and the sauce was just right. This place is very family friendly and quite affordable considering the affluence of Beaver Creek. Recommended.

Wow....their Transylania pizza was the BEST pizza we have ever had!!! It wasn't greasy, the crust was perfect, the topping were fresh and the prices were phenominal!! How did we find this place....Yelp! We were on our way through during an 11 day road trip. We got there about 15 minutes before closing and they were happy to serve us. Not only that, but after we ordered another 3-4 table came in and at no time did they remind them of their closing time. They obviously want the business. If we lived closer, this place would be a regular for us!! No doubt.

So, found this place on the recommendation of some friends and Yelp. It was within walking distance of our condo, so good call there. It was a weekday - thursday during spring break. For whatever reason, they didn't have appropriate kitchen staff working. There were a few people in there who had already been served. We placed our order, got the drinks and waited. Few more people came in and similar situation for them. Then the food came - to all the other tables but ours. 25 min later I was getting a bit upset to say the least. I was the only one at our table who ordered pizza, sandwiches for the others. Their food came but late. All things considered, they did try to compensate. The beers were taken off the bill, and the food, including the pizza when it finally came was very good. They asked for a second chance and we will go back next time we are in town. and btw - the buffet is only on the weekends. Was hoping to try it, but they said Friday through Sunday. Just be aware..

Best pizza in town for a great price! There's 2 things that I consider make a good pizza, ingredients and the crust, this place has it to almost perfection!

When Pazzo's didn't come through with their 'Yes' for delivery on Yelp, we decided to order from Gondola. The Marinara Kids portion pasta was devoured quickly by our 5 year old, their pepperoni pizza was devoured quickly by our nanny and the Reuben style pizza was devoured quickly by my wife and me. Also, they quoted 45 minutes for delivery and were at the door in 25 minutes. Great service and great food.

My fiancée and I have gone here multiple times and will do so again when we visit Avon. First, this place is right up our alley for price range, very decent. Second the food here was fantastic. Honestly we did not try the pizza, but their sandwiches were unbelievable. I had a gyro, my fiancé had the Mediterranean wrap. This was one of the best gyros I've had, and the wrap was light and delicious. The service has been great every time we've been there. Polite, courteous, and quick. I'd highly recommend this place.
