Well, really 5 stars for the ham itself. The other offerings are pretty generic but oh man, the ham is the best I've ever had. Sweet honey crust covering the most gorgeous pink piggy you have ever laid your eyes on. And, the best part is you do nothing but let it come to room temp and take all the credit. A half, bone-in ham will run you $50+ but it'll feed 8-12 easily and if you have leftovers you are in for some pretty fabulous sandwiches. Make sure to save the bone and make some great bean and ham soup on a cold day. I usually auction the bone off because everyone wants it and somebody has to help me pay for that sucker. Getting one for a dinner party on Wednesday - serving it with a mustard gelee, Tyler Florence's incredible potato salad, Alton Brown's truly amazing baked beans, homemade cheddar biscuits, and and Paula's pumpkin gooey buttercake with bourbon brown sugar cream. Are you salivating yet?

Is there anything more delicious than a HoneyBaked Ham for Thanksgiving? It's a family tradition that we've had since I was born. This HoneyBaked Ham location is a bit drabby, but the service is friendly. When the holidays roll around, this location gets packed, so be sure to get there when they open to avoid the long lines. For lunch I've had the ham classic several times and it's always great. Slices of the spiral cut ham with mayo and smoked hickory mustard served on a croissant.

Most of the stuff they sell tastes amazing. I love their ham salad sandwich,classic ham (I always add horseradish to both) their potato salad and any of their frozen entrees. Last year I bought my entire thanksgiving meal from here and was not disappointed.

I had some old gift certificates here and stopped by the other day to grab dinner with them. Not only was the food fantastic, but the woman that helped us was so nice! I believe she was the manager there, and she gave us tons of suggestions for what to get with the gift certificates and her impression of each item. They also had some samples out to try, I recommend the turkey....delish! I was also impressed that the leftover money on the last gift certificate she gave me change for. I will definitely be going back when I want a quick, tasty meal. Perfect for parties.

I'm a huge fan of the Honeybaked Ham Company, and have been getting them for years. Most recently, I bought one for a New Years Eve party I hosted. Yes, the hams are a little pricey, but wow - they are worth it. The hams here start at 7 pounds - If you're hoping for ham on a busy holiday, I highly recommend reserving one ahead of time. Even for NYE, they were running out, and people coming in with no reservation were going to be stuck with a 9+ pounder. HHC does offer a pretty decent variety of frozen sides, and they have some great sauces, too. I bought a tangy mustard sauce, and a horseradish sauce, both with leftovers in mind... As David noted, all you need to do with your ham is take it out of the fridge an hour and a half ahead of time. In the past, I've heated up small portions of it, but it really is just as good at room temp. The employees in the Aurora store were friendly and efficient, both on the phone when I made my reservation and when I showed up to pick up the ham. Great product, great service. Five stars. Love it!
