DINNER REVIEW: When we first walked in I noticed the restaurant was beautifully decorated, like the rest of the hotel, and the service was wonderful, our water was always full and our waiter was very attentive! We ordered wine to start, and the selection is about average, lots of pricey wines and not a whole lot of more affordable, good quality wines were offered. Nonetheless, we thoroughly enjoyed ours! They started us with a complimentary pork belly appetizer which was incredible! Next we had among the 5 of us: the kale salad (amazing) the fried calamari (lots of tentacles with small pieces, could be better) Margarita pizza - average, wouldn't order it again The burrata, definitely our best choice! For dinner we had the ribeye, also a wonderful choice and cooked beautifully. The tuna was really good, but cut a little odd so it was sort of awkward to eat. The cavatelli pasta with sausage was also very good, I'd definitely order that again. The chicken was good, a large serving so certainly shareable. For sides we had the mushroom risotto which was perfectly done and very flavorful (my favorite part of the meal), the meatballs which were quite dense and garlicky, and the brussel sprouts which were pretty good. I personally had the rigatoni bolognese, which unfortunately was so undercooked I couldn't eat it at all. Not al dente, just flat out underdone :( the presentation was beautiful though! And someone in my party ordered iced tea, for which they brought sugar, but she said it was so sweet already so I'm not sure if they know is sweetened already? They offered us an array of desserts to make up for the few mishaps which were all amazeeee, especially the tiramisu and the chocolate ice cream with toasted fluff on top and caramel! It had a different name but either way it was great. I'd come back to try it again possibly, but we have had so many incredible dinners in Aspen I had to give this place a 3, mostly because the only thing I ordered was the rigatoni (inedible). Better luck next time I suppose!

Horrible! I was told Not to Go by others who tried it and thought they had to be mistaken based on the star rating of other yelpers. Save your money and go somewhere else. The service is shockingly so below any standard I have come to expect at St. Regis. The ambiance is like being in a cafeteria setting and the food marginal. I really mean... Stay away!

Please save yourself the time and money. Dr better places to eat in aspen. The only good part was the food. So what's the problem? It took way too long and lack of any kind of service when we asked repeatedly. We had a number of young children who's orders were placed early and still took over an hour to get their food. When asked the first time, we were told 10 minutes. Thirty minutes later we got our salads which was an hour after ordering. Fifteen minutes after that the kids food arrived. It was after 8, We'd arrived at 6:30 and the restaurant was empty. On the positive side, the food was good and it is a beautiful restaurant but we won't go back.

6 of us has dinner on March 15, 2015. The decor of the restaurant is very relaxing. Our waitress, Laurie, was very helpful with choosing a bottle of red wine. She gave one diner 3 wine tastings so she could pick a white wine she would enjoy. The service was very attentive and the food choices (from appetizers to desserts) were all very good. I would definitely return to Trecento Quindici and request Laurie.

Because of my SPG Platinum status, we were given complimentary breakfast at this restaurant at the St. Regis Aspen. The breakfast offerings were plentiful...fresh and healthy too. The restaurant is beautiful...both inside and the outdoor patio. Impeccable service as witnessed throughout the entire hotel as well.

Great breakfast! The Huevos Rancheros were magical and as a Texan and connoisseur of HR, I can say that these are some of the very best in the U.S. This restaurant is in the St. Regis Hotel. It's nice enough looking and the servers were friendly and helpful. The manager came by and checked on us the 3 times we ate here. Admittedly it was the off-season so the staff was new and learning, but our experience was great! The Huevos Rancheros wasn't on the menu (just room service), but the manager said she could do it and boy was it fantastic! The eggs benedict was also a great choice as my wife ordered it daily. All in all, we were very happy with the service, taste, experience and would recommend it to anyone.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
