We went to the bakery for breakfast. We got a really bad first impression when we were received by an old man (owner maybe?) that was more involved on getting us out of the way and keep chatting with his folks than just sitting us. We had Monterrey eggs and an omelette. All was good, I rather some more hollandaise sauce, but all in all great experience. I also ordered a blu berry scone that was uber fresh! The service is good, but it is worth considering that this happened during off season. I would give 4 stars, but the gentleman in the front door was a complete turn down.

If you need some lunch, a good place to escape the snow and warm up is at Main Street Bakery & Cafe. They have delicious soups and salads that just hit the spot. I had the carrot ginger soup that tasted as though the carrots had just been picked out of the ground moments before being made into soup. The tuscan kale salad was a nice addition, crisp and sweet with dried cranberries and parmesan cheese.

Ordered the caprese eggs Benedict and it was delicious! Perfect start to the morning and the whole breakfast was delivered within 20 minutes. Very efficient and friendly service! Also ordered a cinnamon roll which I had after a day on the slopes and it was great! Will definitely be back here.

Wow delicious! Fave breakfast spot by far! Last meal before flight back to la. Took a bite of the biscuit- perfect. Had Alaskan Benedict and it was the best I've had! The gluten free muffin was fantastic, sauce perfect flavor, everything fresh! The hash browns and cheese grits were also delicious. I need to workout after that but was so worth it!

Really poor service. Not busy and still they weren't on it. Not that friendly. Tons of cuteness but so so bakery.

This cafe is an excellent and affordable, nicely located open restaurant on main street, close to downtown. We (me and my friends) often hit this cafe up for breakfast after night on our annual trip to see Umphrey's McGee at the Belly Up. The restaurant isn't posh like the rest of the town, but that gives it a nice character that you might come to miss a little while vacationing in Aspen. There are vegetarian options and the building itself is very open, with several tables placed into a large room, giving the place a very community-vibe. I have always been happy with what I have gotten there and have looked forward to hungover breakfasts in Aspen every year thanks to this place.

Rudest staff ever. My wife and I got yelled at by 3 people and all we wanted was a coffee and donut after hiking to Crater Lake. We got yelled at by the hostess for wanting a table outside. She literally told me "you can't sit outside, sit inside." There were 4 free tables outside the whole 30 minutes we were there. I went inside and saw there was a counter to order at, went to order, the clerk asked if it was to go, we said no, then snapped at us that if want to eat here you need a table. A waitress overheard us then yelled at us " to just sit down, i'll be there in a bit." 10 minutes later we ordered, 10 minutes later than that we get coffee and donut that was sitting at the counter that was attended the whole time and had zero business while we were there. Oh, the bus boy walked into my wife twice while we were sitting, and didn't knowledge that he did it both times. Not a single smile from anybody. This is my first negative review on yelp. On a good note, The lady at the gas station down the street was super nice.

Cute and cozy with a nice outdoor seating option. A more fairly priced breakfast and lunch option if you're in Aspen. I didn't think the food was particularly special, but it was good. Service can be a little spotty, it seems.

There's a sign on the wall at Main Street that reads "We treat visitors like home folk"....or something to that effect. Never was anything more true. We've been dining at Main Street Bakery for at least 15 years and it's still our go-to restaurant as soon as we hit town. We enjoy sitting at one of the two community tables since there's never a wait and you meet and converse with such interesting people. The food never disappoints; Bill, Main Street's owner, welcomes you sincerely; there's a pleasant vibe; and it doesn't hurt that after 11 each morning there usually is a plate of baking powder biscuits sitting on the counter free to all. Everything is fresh, abundant, and served with a smile.

These guys were great about getting our large group in on a Sunday morning, which was crazy to ask them to do so- thank you! Quaint and mountain towny on the inside, adorable large patio on the outside. You can go in a grab your pastry to go or you can eat in. We opted to eat inside. The waitress was super friendly and really nice about recommending that if someone didn't want the side their meal came with, to get it anyways for the table. The lox was surprisingly good. I didn't love the hash browns, which were on the mushier side and covered in cayenne, but generally we hall had a good time.

After hiking the Highlands Bowl I was starving. I thought, good, Main Street Bakery, never been, looks good! Well, I thought wrong. This was the lowest quality food I've ever seen; and, unfortunately, eaten. Let's start off with the service. This is the most piss poor staff ever. They were living there life in sheer leisure; I WAITED 40 MINUTES FOR A CHICKEN SALAD SANDWICH. Now, lets talk about the the sandwich. The sandwich was $13.95. My first thought was man if I'm playing 13.95 for a stupid sandwich this thing must be crafted by Gordon Ramsey himself. Unfortunately, I received the downright shittiest sandwich EVER. The bread was destroyed and torn, the chicken salad was SHIT, and half of it wasn't even on the sandwich, what the hell! To be fair, the quality of food in Aspen is very high and by default I was expecting at least a quality sandwich. However, this sandwich looked (and tasted) as if it was made in a prison cafeteria. It was seriously the ugliest most beat up sandwich I've ever seen. In the end, I suggest you come here if you enjoy low quality food for high prices and terrible service.

Went here twice during my trip and business was always flowing - a sign of a good place! The food is great, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect. If you're in Aspen for anything, I highly recommend checking out this little gem!

Normally one of favorites but the hot cereal was not very warm and the 3 egg omelet was small. The cinnamon roll was great as usual.

I really wanted to like this place. I'll start by saying their pastries are good if your just dropping in for fast breakfast need. Sadly our brunch visit on a Saturday was less then desirable. Besides the bad service our breakfast came out ice cold, we sent it back and they came back with slightly warm food, the potatoes where ice cold as if they had been sitting out all morning. I do not recommend this establishment at all.

Service was fantastic. Everyone was kind and the food was great. I had both the Kale and the Quinoa salads. I poured the quinoa atop the kale Bon appetite!!

Stopped into this place while in Aspen to hopefully grab a sandwich to go... as soon as we walked in, a man sweeping the floor asked us "are you looking for something?" This was incredibly unwelcoming and unpleasant. Then we proceeded to the register area to order and the employees were just looking.. no one offered to give a menu... This is not the place to get food to go or a sandwhich.. which are way over priced, not good quality and literally just small sandwiches on regular bread with lays potato chips...

Very cute bakery/breakfast place! Went in here to get some breakfast on the go. Pretty busy being a Friday morning. I got a doughnut and a cappuccino. I got my doughnut when I paid, but it took them forever to make my cappuccino. As I was waiting I saw they made someone else's latte that was behind me in line. Food was okay, but the service could have been much better.

Best French toast I have ever had! My husband had an amazing breakfast burrito that he loved! Small place and busy so put your patience hat on. Great baked goods-huge cupcakes!

Headed out of Hotel Jerome and went right instead of left to go to downtown Aspen. But the mistake was a good one when my friend and I found this cute little bakery. Since I'm never lacking for caffeine, we decided to get some mud and pastries. This place is very quaint and has an small, old town feel. We grabbed a couple of muffins, some coffee (both of which were delicious), and I thought it was very cute that when my friend ordered an iced soy latte that they served it to her in an Coca Cola soda cup. The prices aren't bad either.

I liked the quaint little cafe on Main St. We were coming back from Maroon Bells and saw it sitting there. The food was quite tasty (I had the Eggs Benedict, as usual) and we were seated pretty quickly on a Sunday morning. After a slow start to an initial visit to our table, the service was pretty regular and the food came out quick enough. I would say that there are either too many tables in here or they just aren't placed well because I was crammed up against someone else's seat and my wife was being smashed by a guy who probably should have ordered the oatmeal and not a double-stack of pancakes. Also, the coffee... wow, yuck. I don't know if it was burnt, old or just not good, but it was some of the worst I've ever had. And for $2.50, save your money.

As we first drove into Aspen, I saw this place and said aloud "I need to go there" in the same second that someone put the "closed" sign on the door. Fail. Never fear, because I went back for breakfast the next morning. Very crowded, though it was a holiday. Delightful patio seating, and cozy indoor seating. Very strong and tasty coffee. Homemade jam on the table. I had an omelette with bacon and avocado and it was perfect. My mom who said she didn't like hash browns prior to receiving her food couldn't stop talking about how good the hash browns were. Delicious, fresh biscuits for the aforementioned jam. My gf who judges breakfast places by their eggs benedict ranked her meal at Main Street as Top 5... and we eat A LOT of breakfast. Reasonably priced (I assume) for Aspen.

The baked goods were TO DIE FOR. The donut is not too big that you feel fat eating it. It was perfect (slightly crunchy on the outside and soft, chewy, fluffy, sweet on the inside) and the maple glaze on top was the perfect combo of flavors. The croissants were buttery, flaky, and wonderful - tthe fruit filling was light, tangy, and sweet...not overly sweet or fake testing. The breakfast entrees was amazing too. This is American breakfast at its best. The corned beef hash was savory and the buttermilk biscuit was fluffy and perfect. We didn't order pancakes, but they looked amazing. One thing though. The coffee is VERY STRONG. The store has a bunch of stuff for decoration, making the bakery/cafe feel cluttered but in a very comfortable, homey way. Very kitchy and welcoming!!!!!!!!!!!! loved loved loved....went there to buy breakfast baked goods

I'd read that this was a great place for breakfast, so after a run my husband I came here. The staff was busy and could possibly benefit from some signage re someone will seat you and or to go orders can be placed at the counter. Everyone was friendly to us however. First, I had my mind blown by a mimosa with fresh squeezed OJ. I can't believe that I've never had it that way. It was dangerously amazing. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy, which are life changing biscuits and gravy. I will fantasize about those until our return. I got the florentine omelet which was also delicious but paled in comparison to the biscuits of course. We also drooled over the baked goods in the glass, but never pulled the trigger! Can't wait to go back!

It pains me to write this review because the Main Street Bakery in Aspen is such a cozy little place with a tranquil outdoor dining area, it invites you to come in and stay for a while. The food here, especially the breakfast menu, is very good, with an excellent variety of options, including egg dishes, pancakes, french toast and other goodies. Here is where the good story ends. The morning we ate there, we waited for a good 10 minutes before our server finally appeared after we were seated. He took our coffee orders and then quickly disappeared for another 10 minutes. When he came back to our table, he asked what we would like to drink. He had completely forgotten our coffee orders! My wife and looked at each other with that Twilight Zone stare that often accompanies uncomfortable situations. It suddenly dawned on the guy that had already taken our drink orders, so he again disappeared for five minutes and came back with only my coffee drink, and no sign of my wife's. But at least he took our food order. Fifteen minutes later, my wife's coffee showed, followed by another 20 minute wait for our food. We were about to get up and leave when our disappearing server finally showed up with our breakfasts. The food here is good, but you'll have to bring a lot of patience and time to kill if you have breakfast here. We won't be back.

Main Street Bakery provides some really inconsistent service and products. My first visit here was a 1.5 star visit, and the second one was a 3.5 star visit. The first time I came here was on the 4th of July for a coffee before work and, apparently, before the parade. I was surprised at the reasonable prices, comparable to a Starbucks. The service was painfully slow. I waited 20 minutes from order to Cappuccino. To my initial disappointment, only half of the cup was full. But after a sip, I didn't care. The cappuccino tasted like I imagine dirty socks do. It was dreadful and not drinkable. I would never order any beverage here again. Later, a friend insisted that we come here for breakfast. I was reluctant at first, but I decided to give the place a second chance. I played it simple and ordered a single slice of quiche lorraine ($5.95). The quiche tasted good, was a large piece, and the price was reasonable. I also got a raspberry truffle brownie ($2.95) that lasted two meals and was delicious. The service the second time was much better, but the actual product is fairly standard for Aspen. I would never go out of my way to come here, but it's an A-OK option in Aspen.

After searching for a bakery and finding many of them closed for the day or permanently, our family decided to stop here for a treat. The dining room was basically empty when we entered since it was a nice day and everyone was eating outside. There were more than enough staff lingering and speaking loudly to each other. Most of the trays were empty or almost empty in the display case so we settled on some cupcakes and drinks. But after trying to eat the red velvet cupcake I ordered, I realized that it was frozen solid. And what I was able to bite off tasted majorly of freezer burn. I returned to the counter to ask for a replacement cupcake and they reluctantly exchanged it. It was not bad but the frosting was more of a whipped cream topping than actual frosting. With the staff buzzing around us and dishes clanging, it wasn't the most welcoming atmosphere and the selection at the 'bakery' was less than you'd expect. Overall, a disappointment.

I'm surprised this place isn't rated higher. This was a real treat. My wife and I were turned off by the large crowd at first, so we walked around a few blocks looking for another place to eat, but nothing really called out to us. We circled back around and came here. The line was a little shorter, but still pretty long. Regardless, we were seated very quickly - it seemed to help that we were just a couple and the majority of people had parties of 4+. My wife and I both had the Alaskan Benedict with hash browns and WOW! This may have been the best Eggs Benedict-style meal I've ever had. Delicious. I wish I would have bought some of the pastries in their bakery for the road, but for some reason it didn't cross my mind until we had left. That's ok, we'll be going back whenever we visit Aspen and I certainly won't forget again!

Aspen is known world wide for great apre ski. Make this place your "pre ski". I really enjoyed it. Our family owned a diner in Vermont for 30yrs. My dad, God rest his soul, would have loved it here. Good food, great service and the owner making sure everything is running smoothly. It can get crowded so get there early.

I would have loved to been able to review the food but the older gentleman seating people was so dismissive and unfriendly we left before getting a chance to be seated. I was really excited to try it but very turned off by him and his lack of any customer service.

cute little cozy breakfast place in Aspen. Very cozy... if it's crowded, they'll ask you to share a large table with others. Service was great... this place was super crowded and they were clearing tables crazy fast. I've never seen a restaurant turn over a table so quickly just to keep people from waiting in line. I had the corn beef hash. it looked a little disappointing.. but it sure didn't taste like it. One of those times where the dish tastes much better than it looks. my only complaint would be the hashbrowns. Was a little over cooked. The blueberry pancakes were excellent. non overly sweet... just perfect.

They would have gotten two stars if they hadn't paired their mediocre food with bad attitudes and scolding (oh, and might I mention felony). My breakfast burrito was 99.8 percent dry tortilla and asking for it seemed like the biggest imposition since Christie's bridge scandal. Do not eat here.

I REALLY enjoyed our breakfast here! It's true that it is impossibly crowded inside, but that's the sign of a good restaurant. Everything here was fresh, and soooo amazing that I could have eaten here every meal. My husband got a bagel, egg and cheese sandwich. The bagel was hand made and fresh. I got a croissant which was also fresh and buttery and so flaky. Delicious. One of the best croissants I've ever had. We also got a slice of cherry coffee cake for when we got home that night. I think we found a new favorite breakfast place in Aspen!

Very good, and for Aspen very cheap sandwiches. Vegetarian choices are excellent, My wife had the vegggie sandwich grilled. I had the chicken salad sandwich. Cheap beers as well. Would have been 4 stars if the fries were not a little soggy.

Yummmm!!! I have been here several times now and every experience has been fabulous. 1- I ordered a birthday cake for my boyfriend, he had requested a German chocolate one. I was a little late picking it up and I called to let them know and someone waited for me even though they were closed and did not make me feel like I was inconveniencing them at all (even though I'm sure it did!) It was absolutely delicious & everyone loved it. I would definitely order another cake for them. 2- I came in on a busy Saturday morning and just ordered a bagel and cream cheese to go but still was made to feel like an important customer and it was ready immediately. 3- I came in for lunch on a Sunday and sat on the patio with a friend, it was sunny and gorgeous, the food was delicious (chicken curry salad), and the service was excellent. Also can't beat the $4 glasses of wine!!!

Perfectly adorable location with very low grade food service food and poorly prepared plates. The owner seemed stressed out and was terribly rude to every customer that walked through the door and the employee's seemed afraid of him.

To Holly B. So, you give 1 star because they wouldn't Let you have a pet in a restaurant ? What does that have to do with how the food is ? I think you should retract it. I eat here all the time and love it. Service is great and so is the food.

The staff was friendly but the atmosphere was not for me and my family. We are ones that enjoy a more American style breakfast. The breakfast was very expensive for what we ordered. The pancakes were alright, nothing special. Their bread was really good, I love sourdough. Their eggs and hashbrown breakfast was alright as well. The eggs were delicious, the hash browns were not very good. We chose this place as a last minute decision and probably will not be returning.

I was so displeased with the service here that I created a yelp account so I could share with everyone. I would rate this place 0 stars if possible. The horrible food is only surpassed by the terrible service. We walked in at 3:45 and were harassed by the waitstaff and told we needed to hurry up and order since the kitchen closed at 4:00. That was a lie. We received our turkey and chicken salad sandwiches at 4:30. Why did it take 45 minutes to make a turkey sandwich? There were at least 6 people working behind the counter. In addition, each sandwich was $13. They were literally just torn dry bread with two pieces of turkey. Once the lady in the back finally started making our sandwiches around 4:20, she appeared as if she was having some sort of schizophrenic attack and kept throwing the bread and turkey everywhere. This place is absolutely terrible and I think barn animals could have made a few sandwiches better and quicker than Main Street Bakery & Cafe.

I love everything about their food! Esp. the corned beef hash!! The place is small and there's usually a wait. There's a strict rule for NO CELL PHONES which I think is awesome. Small, old school place with a homey feel. Love it.

Wonderful, cozy place that made us feel like locals. Pastries looked great so we got a scone for later -- but the breakfast was substantial and very good. 4 stars bumped up to 5 because of adorable pup on front porch pressed against our window; he received a crust of multi-grain toast for his cuteness. Great way to start the day.

Best eggs benny I've ever had. Staff is a little slow but the food is worth the wait. They have a bakery and make great homemade bread and pastries.

Somehow this is the only place in Aspen where you can't sit at the edge of the patio with a tiny, sleeping dog in a tote bag on your lap or under the table. They advised me to tie up my baby to a railing and then sit 150 feet away in a back corner. Sure, that would have gone well. Screw em. We went to the Grateful Deli and got awesome sandwiches while the doggie snoozed peacefully in his bag.

Absolutely delicious, from the home fries to the pancakes and everything in between. Even though this was a very pricey breakfast ($36) for two, it was worth it. So much so that we came back the next day!!!

This was a nice place with great food. The dinning area is very small but don't let that turn you away. The food and service are worth it. Our waitress was just wonderful. Granted the place was packed and she was running around like crazy, but she had a smile on her face and was super nice to us. I've seen other reviews that have complained of the price, however many things in Aspen are a bit pricey. I looked at other places on Yelp for breakfast in Aspen and they are all about the same priced.

Greatest place for breakfast in Aspen. Amazing menu, all made fresh to order. There's also a bakery which has some tasty homemade breads and cakes and more. Very friendly, great service. Get there early on the weekends or you may wait awhile for a table. Portions are large, delicious omelets, pancakes and french toast. You will LOVE this place!!

I've been here twice for lunch and enjoyed both of my experiences. Maybe it's because I arrived on the later side, so I avoided the actual lunch rush and didn't have to wait long for my order. Had the ham and cheese quiche my first time, which was extremely buttery and rich. They were giving out biscuits up at the bakery, so of course I had to take 2. There was also a buy 1, get 1 free pastry deal going on. My bf and I chose 2 muffins. All of the pastries we got were pretty good, but not oh-my-gawd this amazing. The second time I ordered the soup of the day, being a green chili pork. It had a nice spicy flavor to it and came with a tortilla, so it was quite filling. They were closing soon, so all of the pastries were put away or sold out. For dessert, the bf and I shared a chocolate chip cookie, which was a very generous size. The food isn't 5-star worthy, but it's pretty tasty and we experienced friendly service both times we dined there. It's a decent price for Aspen.

Fantastic breakfast and baked goods. This is our favorite breakfast spot in Aspen. A very cute and small restaurant that's busy for breakfast and sometimes has a line out the door for their bakery. Tables turn over quickly so don't worry too much if there are a few people ahead of you. Reasonably priced and very good food.

The two times I went to Main Street Bakery were for breakfast and lunch. I figured that it was always busy, so that was a pretty good sign. For both times I waited over an hour after I ordered before we got our food. A whole HOUR! I tend to go out to eat when I'm hungry, so this was just unacceptable. Wait staff tended to have very poor command of English, or native English speaking wait staff made me feel like I was inconveniencing them by asking for more coffee. I hate to rail on a bakery because I looove baked goods, but even ordering at the counter usually had a wait time and was difficult because of the cashiere's tendancy not to understand what baked good I ordered. Sometimes to my financial gain! Still, wasn't enough to make me want to ever return. Try Popycocks for breakfast.

This is a quaint breakfast spot. We sat in the pretty outside patio. The menu had a good, if expensive selection of items. I suppose expensive is par for the course in Aspen, so the prices weren't any worse than anywhere else. The service was good, although our order took forever to come out. Over forty minutes! There was also a funky garbage smell occasionally wafting from the service station area. I don't know what it's coming from, but they need to take care of that. It was very unappetizing and diminished our dining experience. My eggs benedict were quite good. The coffee was overstrong, although they were good about offering refills. The desserts displayed inside looked wonderful and I couldn't resist getting key lime pie for dessert. It was yummy, but there was just no living up to it's gorgeous appearance.

Their chicken pot pie wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but it was decent. Typical coffee shop diner, not too expensive considering it's Aspen. I'd go there again for brunch if I was in Aspen again.

I was excited to see positive reviews about this place. Unfortunately, my experience was pretty terrible. I came for a late lunch around 2 pm and ordered the vegetarian half-sandwich and the soup of the day (gazpacho). The first bad sign was that they lost my order. Then they brought out my order. The "half" sandwich was tiny! It was more like a quarter of a sandwich with an old looking piece of eggplant, some cheese and a smushy tomato. No sign of the pesto mentioned on the menu. The gazpacho was barely passable and closer to salsa except for the celery. The salad was the usual lettuce, carrot and tomato mix but came with a bizarre bright red dressing that looked unnatural. I'd love to come back and be proved wrong with their baked goods but I think I'll pass. Also, the prices are now double what they have up on the website.

Great breakfast place!!! Loved the laid back, small town atmosphere, such a fun place for breakfast. Had the cinnamon roll and a few bites of my husband's bagel sandwich which was PERFECT----probably better (and less greasy) than Moe's in Denver!

If want to tank-up before hitting the mountain, this is the place to go. Trust me, you won't eat again until dinnertime. Food: Delicious, well made, HUGE breakfast entrees. Omelets rule the house - any way you want 'em. Drink: Their coffee is really good. And, I say this as a self proclaimed coffee snob, I normally don't like drip. I also had a latte and it too was pretty good and served down-home style in a pint glass. Ambiance: Think small house made into a diner...because that's what it is. And there's nothing more to need to say about it. Service: Those gals crank-out those orders and do so with a smile on their faces!

Very good food and friendly service, definitely recommend. Biscuits and gravy were excellent, the 8 year old ended up stealing them instead of his pancakes (which were also good). Wife enjoyed her Benedict as well.

Small place... hard to find a seat.. but the food was decent...not to expensive considering the area...had a bagel with eggs...

We are semi-locals and always eat here. Best breakfast in town. Best coffee. Best baked goods. Best waitresses. Best (though occasionally grumpy) and most attentive local owner. Best atmosphere (on the cozy side). Don't miss it!

My wife had read a lot of good reviews about this place and we grabbed breakfast here before heading out to the slopes. We were seated as soon as we got there in a cozy corner by the window. The cafe is in a quaint little cottage and not the biggest place around, but their food more than makes up for what they lack in space. Their bagels are made on site. My onion bagel was nice and crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside just like a bagel should be. I'm a self proclaimed bagel connoisseur and this was definitely one of the top three bagels I've ever had. The cream cheese was average. The eggs provencale are nice and hearty with a big portion savory hashbrowns. The ratatouille that it comes with is a little bland and blah though.. The menu has an entire section called "eggs benediction" and for all you egg benedict fans there's quite a few options. This is a good breakfast or brunch spot right off main street and if you are taking the city bus just get off at paepke park on main St.

This place was adorable both inside and out. We sat down at a table and despite the fact that there were only about 4 other tables seated and at least 4 waitresses on, we weren't even noticed for at least 10 minutes. It seemed that one waitress was doing all the work and one was sitting around looking completely disinterested in doing anything but reading the paper at the counter. Finally, the waitress that was hustling came over, apologized and took our order. She was great, very friendly and accommodating. My daughter ordered the granola and yogurt, which was good, but the yogurt was gone with a half bowl of granola still left. I ordered eggs benedict, which was also good, but nothing spectacular. The potatoes they served with them though were awesome! They were thinly shredded potato sticks deep friend and crispy - yummy!!! They have an impressive display of baked goods, so I broke down and ordered a cinnamon bun hoping it would be as delicious as it looked - it wasn't. I thought that they would heat it or serve it with butter but it was pulled right from the case and put on a plate. It was a bit stale and I ended up leaving half of it. I had originally planned on getting some of their homemade donuts too, but the bun incident deterred me. It was a bit pricey, which I wouldn't have minded if the food and service had been better. There are enough choices in Aspen that next time I'll try someplace different.

This was a really cute little place. They were really busy when we walked in and it wasn't clear where to go or who to speak with to get a table. We ended up at a community table and enjoyed a conversation with a local gentleman. The food was good (classic eggs benedict and a bagel sandwich with ham). I wish we had had been able to try some of their pastries - they looked really good.

Cute little bakery/cafe with great sandwiches. Try their turkey club on six-grain bread--it's amazing!

Best place for breakfast in Aspen. They also have an awesome selection of pastries. The cupcakes are great! It's not too pricey, but it's not Denny's either.

Food is great, service was excellent, no attitude. Thank goodness that this place continues to thrive in Aspen. Love the biscuits, muffins and bacon. Terrific breakfast menu, lots of yummy choices. I can't imagine anyone having an issue with the staff.

Such a cozy, casual place. Awesome omelette's and oatmeal. Great breakfast. They also have these delicious peach or raspberry granola squares! Atmosphere is relaxed, laid back, country. Although it is small, there is indoor and outdoor seating available. Good solo place or for a group of eight.
