Odyssey Beerwerks Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

This place is one of my favorite brew houses in Denver. They have a pretty steady variety of beers and so far can please just about anyone that I've taken there. It gets a bit toasty inside in the summer - so dress cool if it's over 85 degrees as they are an open air facility, but in the heat it still stays kinda warm. There is parking lot, but some of the neighbors don't like it if you park on there side, (just a heads up) So be courteous to the other business as we rely on their kindness for continued parking options. Other than that my only complaint - AND IT'S A BIG ONE - is that the brewer only made one batch of "Mango Shandy". Didn't he know that it would be my favorite and I would like to get some more. Seriously!

If you bring a Guy into run your trivia he shouldn't run off your customers. When trivia gets so serious that people are screaming curse words at people in a family establishment then it's not an environment I want to be in. That guy should be banned from trivia.

Great local brewery! A great brewery needs to start with great beer, and Odyssey has that down with their core lineup of beers. The Psycho Penguin Vanilla Porter is the perfect example of the style, and a beer I always find myself coming back to. Clan Warrior, their Scotch ale, is super malty and packs a great punch, and their Ghost Drifter pale is a nice, moderately hopped and rereshing brew. I'm not the biggest Hefeweizen fan, but their Heliocentric Hef is such a refreshing beer on a hot day... The atmoshphere here is also great, with friendly staff and a great lineup of food trucks that come through. Inside and outside seating give you nice options and there are plenty of house board games (or you can bring your own, as we often do!) Overall, a great brewery to have in our neck of the woods, but a worthy destination from Denver as well if you are looking for great beers in a laid back, unpretnetious setting. Love these guys!

Great Beer. Great Weekly Events. Great Atmosphere. Odyssey has a nice variety of beers. There is truly something for everyone. My personal favorite is the Ghost Drifter (I like my beer on the hoppy end of the spectrum). But, I really enjoy the Caribbean Lager and banana-cloveyness of the Heliocentric Hef on days when it is warm enough to sit out on the patio. It can be a bit of a challenge to find. It will take you a few minutes roaming a business park to spot this place. But, that also means there is tons of free parking and space to lock up your bike. Mondays are Trivia nights and we are here pretty regularly for these. Free to play. Bring your own grub or order delivery. Always a fun way to spend your evening. Wednesdays are Discovery Beer Day where Odyssey releases a small-batch of an experimental beer. These are always fun. Wednesdays & Saturdays Odyssey has live music in the brewery and most nights they have food trucks. Once a month, there is a Brewery Bike Crawl in conjunction with Yak & Yeti Brewery. And, occasionally they have board game nights. They are regularly looking for volunteers to help with canning their beer, so check that out if you have some free time and would like some free brew. This place is just a lot of fun. The folks that work and pour here are always friendly. And, there is always some fun activity to participate in, solo or with friends.

We had a black IPA, and the scotch ale. The scotch ale is wonderful, as the peppy and friendly beer keep recommended as her favorite. A brewery worth checking out.

Arvada keeps getting pretty impressive breweries! Odyssey is no exception at all! The place is tucked away in a business park right off of Sheridan. The bartender was extremely congenial which always is a plus! I got two tasters here since the day I was here was one of those marathon days of hitting several breweries! Here though instead of getting just one type of beer and writing about it I had to succumb to tasting two different kinds because I enjoyed their beer that much! To start with I got the Ghost Drifter Pale Ale which was awesome! The hops were not too bitter but the beer had a resounding flavor to it! My second choice was the Perpetual Darkness Belgian Black which ALSO had a wonderful smoothness and flavor to it as well! I would love to come back and look forward to seeing what brews they will make in the future!

Great beer for after work go in at least once a week. Very chill and relax atmosphere

Perhaps I will be the first... Soft openings are fun, hard openings, like today's Grand Opening, a bit more challenging. I am super pleased to see this place just up the road on Sheridan, maybe 10 minutes from my home. The setting: Industrial Park, not a whole lot around, but if Wit's and Strange and Colorado Cider can attest, location does not always matter when it come to the beer aficionado crowd, or even those who live in the are an simply want a close-in place to enjoy a craft brew. The place: Really nice brewing system, much stainless steel and obviously they went to great cost to start big with a 15 BBL system. The tap room, open warehouse, acoustics not so great but it was opening day and very crowded and noisy. The bar, very short, converted to a serving line for today, and there was a line to the door. The brews .. I had two. The Hefe was pretty good, not too intense on the flavor profile - mild banana and clove - but the carbonation was off, much less than expected. In Germany, these beers are carbonated to the 8-9 volumes of C)2 level, and continue to produce bubbles and head as the beer is consumed. The second one, the Black IPA, was also mild. I cannot put my finger on a flavor other than burned malt and bitter, but in very small doses. I really want this place to succeed, and yet, with all the competing craft breweries around, they need to up their game and create beers that become destinations, as they are in an out-of the way location. Three stars increased to four, as an investor in the Denver craft brew industry, I WANT them to do better!

First of all, I love their Psycho Penguin Vanilla Porter! They usually have good specialty beers, too, such as their Fluffy Pumpkin and the Don't Pout Christmas Stout. The brewery is off Sheridan and Ralston and is a warehouse type setting; however, the ambience is quite pleasant. They usually are playing music that I enjoy and there's board games as well as trivia. I've enjoyed chatting with all of the bartenders here as they are all very friendly and sociable. They don't serve food but always seem to have a food truck handy. The place is kid friendly; however, when they first opened, it seemed like the kids were running around pretty much taking over the place, which scared me off at first, but I've noticed the last several times I've been there that it's not the case anymore, which is nice. They have patio seating as well as ample indoor seating.

I've been coming here for about one and a half years. Their standards are always good. But I do like their seasonal and specialty brews. I big fan of their IPA series. Always something tasty. Once they had a Bacon Porter I think. It was so good. I enjoy coming here it's a fun place very relaxed. The Beertenders are always willing to help you out with a suggestion of you don't know what you want.

Only had one beer, the Clan...something? It was the end of a long day but it was delicious. Had some lovely comic book art on the wall. Great atmosphere too.

I stopped by Odyssey with a friend after work a couple of weeks back. We'd seen the place open up and it finally worked out that we were able to give it a try. Like other brewhouses the atmosphere is modern warehouse, with lots of tables laid out in front of a bar and the brewing equipment on the other side of the room. They offered several varieties of ales, most with European angles. I tried and enjoyed a few different ones, with my favorite probably being the stout. Our bartender was super nice, she offered a couple suggestions to get us started and we explored from there. It seemed like there were a few regulars in the place which helped make for a good overall vibe. They don't serve food but they have deals worked out with food trucks so there's some kind of food there every night. We weren't planning on eating so we didn't get any of the BBQ they had out front the night we were there, but it looked good and lots of other people were eating it up. I will definitely be back for more of their tasty ales!

This place is a bit difficult to find in an unassuming industrial area, but their space is really inviting and comfortable to hang out at. Their patio is roomy and a food truck pulls right up to the side so that you can conveniently order some snacks. The majority of the beer here didn't stand out to me as anything special except for the milk stout. I think the Odyssey milk stout gives the Lefthand milk stout a serious run for its money. If you dig the Odyssey beer, you can join their club which gives numerous benefits and potential freebies. Odyssey is worth coming for a visit to enjoy a brew, the patio, and their live music.

Cool tasting room, so expect to go up to the bar to get your drinks. The beer is pretty good, the food is provided by a food truck out front. With a variety of board games on a shelf & a chill vibe, its a good place to come with friends and relax for a while.

    (4)
  • Sarah K.

Delicious and unique beer. If you haven't made a stop here, you should do in the near future. They have some sort of special going on each day and even though they don't serve food, there is always a food truck out front. Today, we stopped in for the #ODtoberfest event and I wish we could have stayed longer. In addition to the great food & beer they usually have, there is also a raffle every hour with such things as a glass growler w/fill or glassware. Combined with extra outdoor seating, makes for a nice relaxing day at Odyssey.

  • Jennifer M.

I came here after a meetup group and I honestly never would have found the location if not for the event. The beer selection is pretty solid. They have a wide range of beer styles, so there is more than likely something to please everyone. I had the Eye of Ra Ale and Ghost Drifter Pale Ale, and my husband had one of their IPAs. They also had a stout and porter, which seemed to be popular, but I didn't try. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area.

Love the beer, the art work hanging on the walls is great. Love the people and Karen & Josh are wonderful. Beer is so yummy!! Have been back every week :)

    (5)
  • Scott H.

Decent beer and atmosphere. The beer is on the expensive side. $7 a pint for an IPA and most growlers are $20 and up.

Tasty Brews, lots of stuff going on here too...food trucks, Monday Trivia, live music, awesome local art. Small patio...wish there was more outdoor seating.

My favorite brewery in Arvada. Great beer, plenty of board games, lots of great food trucks and wonderful staff. I recommend the Ghost Drifter, bring back the Eye of Rau!

  • Linda W.

Only found the place by following another vehicle in, but well worth the hunt. My vanilla porter was smooth and tasty. My boyfriend says his IPA has attitude. That's a good thing. They've got a couple of shelves of board games and there was a rousing game of Yahtzee happening at the bar. Small crowd on a Friday, but I like the intimacy. Definitely going back!

  • Chris D.

My wife and I stopped by here on a nice quiet day and we were treated to some tasty beers. I personally liked their ESB, but everything was good. This is a good place for groups with lots of seating inside and out. You can play a board game or sit and relax. I wish I had a place like this close to me.

Great little spot tucked away in Arvada. The taproom is excellent, spacious and comfortable. Tried 3 beers, the stout, vanilla porter, and ghost rider pale ale. The vanilla porter was amazing, so freaking good, really outshines Breck Brew's vanilla porter. Took home a growler of the pale ale as well. prices are right on, growlers are either $12 (pale ale, IPA...) or $19 (scottish ale, porter...). The had Bubba Dukes BBQ food cart out front as well which really topped everything off great. Tons of seating room inside and when they open the garage door they have a little patio as well.

  • Scott S.

We had a lovely time at Odyssey. They have a healthy menu of styles and options, which is a big plus for a new brewery. A bigger plus is that they are open many hours each day. This is a brewery, especially a new brewery, rarity. The inside is spacious and there is outdoor seating. A little more time and I think they'll have some great offerings.

  • Dawn J.

Location is tucked away in an industrial park, once you see the sign, you have passed the turn. Decent size tap room, however a small bar. We tried all of their samplers and enjoyed every single one!! Vanilla porter is amazing. Staff is friendly too. Have been there twice and will go back for sure!

I always look forward to their discovery beer. Some of the regular beers I like are the Nitro Stout and Helios. Awsome place to be. For those who say just another brewery or here we go again another brewer out in the middle of a commercial district can go kick rocks. What will make you happy....another check cashing place?

Tucked away in the back of some warehouses off 56th and Ralston lies one of the newest microbreweries to Colorado and the newest in Arvada. While it is very easy to find this brewery has some great beers and a great environment to go along with it. The place is large and spacious allowing for comfortable seating and the clear view of all the kettles and tanks is always enjoyable when visiting a new microbrewery. As for the beer there was a great assortment of styles to sample and this is a brewery where there is something for everyone. My 2 personal favorites were the Helio's Hefeweizen which had a great banana and clove flavor, but the Black Double IPA was the best beer of the day. In addition there was a great pale ale, ESB, and vanilla porter. While I am not in the Arvada area often knowing this brewery is there might make me take a few extra trips to this suburb. A must try and place I would make a return visit to without hesitation.

I heard about this place from another brewery. Use their website for directions. The venue is simple and works for me. There were 6 beers on tap on Memorial Day and we had a taster of each. Proper size tasters at a good price. The beers were Hefeweizen, ESB, Pale Ale, Black IPA, Vanilla Porter, and Scotch Ale. I agree with the previous Yelp about the Hefe. The Scotch Ale was fine, but I do not drink them regularly. The ESB was fantastic. I used to drink Victoria Bitter and XXXX Bitter (both Australian beers) often and this ESB reminds me of them. This is what ESBs should taste like. If you are doing the taster flight, your taste buds may get overwhelmed with the others, so I recommend trying this one first. The Pale Ale was good, non-overbearing hops. The black IPA was also nicely balanced. Hop-heads may be disappointed but if you like a well-rounded black IPA, this one works. The Vanilla Porter was excellent. I have never cared for Breckenridge's VP, so in my opinion Odyssey's kicks the crap out of BB's. I was impressed with their overall preparedness. They had plenty of beer, growlers, hats, t-shirts, and stickers.

The location is a bit tricky to find, but it is well worth the effort to make it there. I particularly enjoyed the vanilla porter, but all their beers were good.

I ended up finding this hidden jewel in the city of Arvada. I took my dog to the Berkley dog park and said "mmmm what's around here?" Well, thanks to yelp! I found this GRRREAT brewery, super über nice decor, nice art and great bartender. Patio and tap bar dog friendly btw. Try their Psycho Pinguin Vanilla Porter, it's so yummy you will end up just drinking that. Would go again in a heartbeat.

Weird location, but I really like this place. It's right down the street from my house and I imagine I'll be spending a lot of time there! The beers have been consistently good, and the atmosphere's cool. They've got a good rotation of food trucks there just about every day. Highly recommend.

Odyssey was our last stop on a mini-brewery tour day this past weekend and I'm glad we saved it for last because it was quite a pleasant surprise! After driving past a long series of warehouses, you'll find Odyssey at the very end (alas, no Odysseus, though...darn it!) This place is huge: very large tap room with a beautiful hardwood bar area, many tables, and an excellent patio with plenty of umbrellas (that last bit is very important to an uber pale white girl...patios are great, but let's just make sure I make it out of that situation alive and not lobster red). My friends and I were lucky enough to snag a patio table after grabbing a few beers. Usually I go for a flight sampler, but I was only feeling brave enough for one more beer for the day. So I opted for the ESB, my bière du jour. Sadly I can't remember what my friends ordered, but I made sure to sip a bit of everyone's choices. And all I can say is: awesome! Each beer has a nice bold flavor! Unfortunately I cannot wax poetic about the beers right at this moment, but I can say that I loved this place and the brews. Odyssey was a huge surprise for me, having not even heard of the place before last week. The space is fantastic and will be most excellent to hang out at on a warm summer's day. And of course, the beers were strong and flavorful. Pack a bag and make a trip over to Odyssey, stat!

Wow this place has great beer. Great atmosphere, excellent amounts of parking, and even board games. I've even attended trivia night here. A friend and I decided to split a full flight recently. It was a great experience and we loved a lot of them. My favorite was the wet hop. Unfortunately, the order they were placed on the flight, was not the order they wrote on our cards, so we had to guess which ones were which. I've also come here with my college alumni association, under the pretenses that we would get a tour. The 20 of us were told that the person who was going to hook us up with that had to leave early, so we couldn't have a tour. There wasn't enough help for someone to leave the bar for a few minutes and talk to us and make it worth it for us to have organized an event there, coming from all over Colorado, and giving them plenty of extra business. Oh well. Yes they usually have food trucks/stands :)

These days, with denver's saturated brewery market, you have to differentiate yourself. The average 5% beer menu just wont cut it in my opinion. This is my first visit, and the fact that odyssey had a rum barrel aged sour type beer, gives me the sense they are an evolving brewery. This is the type of brewery that has everybody's pallet in my mind. I also very much enjoyed their food truck selections. Great atmosphere, and great staff. Highly recommended.

  • Braelin P.

This is how Denver brewery/tap-houses should be done-- first and foremost, great beer! Second, low key environment that has some character (and allows you to picnic/have food from the outside). Odyssey manages to have a fun vibe with very little effort (i.e. no over the top beer decorations, corny sports paraphernalia or the like). The staff are fun and friendly, they are dog friendly on the patio, and supply (good) live music from time to time!

  • Kate K.

This place is awesome! I can see that it would be very easy to settle in here for a couple of hours or even a whole afternoon. I'd heard good things about their beer selection, so we stopped in on Friday afternoon after Thanksgiving and parked it by the open garage doors. We played some cards, and drank some delicious beers. I tried the holiday stout and the perpetual darkness and both were great. If we'd bee in the mood to drink away the afternoon, it would have been easy to do here. The beer prices are reasonable and the service was fast and friendly. I will be back to work my way through the rest of the menu in the very near future!

The first time you head to Odyssey Beerwerks, there is a good chance you will be convinced you are going the wrong way. But fear not! Tucked in the corner of this strange, suburban, industrial complex lives one of the best new breweries in Colorado -- and that's saying something. The space is open and comfortable, the staff are friendly, and the beer is GREAT. There are a lot of board games and playing cards up for grabs, which is also pretty great. As for the beer, for a long time, Breckenridge Vanilla Porter was my go-to dark. Then I discovered Dry Dock's Vanilla Porter, and I only ever went back to Breck when it was the only sweet and dark option. But then I went to Odyssey and discovered the Psycho Penguin Vanilla Porter. Ho-lee-hell, it is delicious. For my tongue, it beats the others down with a vengeance. And it is now available in cans! In short: go. Go now.

Nice little brewery in a very unassuming location. I made the Drive from Aurora and was happy I did. Food Trucks sit outside which is nice. Nice little patio as well to sit outside on.The beers are reasonably priced. Only Drawback is they didnt have the Football on. They were showing Golf. Otherwise we would of stayed longer. I did grab a 6pk of the Penguin Porter to go.

Colorado beer! Woot! I had actually gotten a 6pack on a lark a month or so ago of this brewery, we liked it, but when we decided to do a mini arvada brew tour we didn't realize this place was one of them! There were a number of different kinds of beers and i did a taster, vanilla porter, the saison, and the holiday don't pout stout. Mmmm! loved them all and it was a buy 2 6-packs, get 2 free deal of the hef which i already knew we liked, so it was a win win kind of day! We got there about 7 minutes before opening and were not the first in line! hhaha! The location is definitely interesting to find - thank you google map/waze. The large roll up doors, indoor and outdoor seating, close to the highway. All in all, not a bad place, on the way to costco, or just a jaunt down the 70! I'll be back!

Summary: Good place for mature brews, good food truck rotation, interesting but hard to find to the new customer with a gps Long version: Odyssey is a pretty fun place in Arvada, good location (sheridan and highway 36 close by) but a bit tricky to find but don't give up it's worth the slow crawl around corners. I had the flight of 6 amazing brews, some different and some the same old taste as in Boulder, Longmont and Ft. Collins. Yes, I'm going there, there is a point and time where you taste enough that you can tell the closeness to some breweries. The Lager and pale ale were great (highly recommended), the lager was very interesting not only in color but in taste and aroma (a new touch of creativity and dare I say smoothness), the ale had a nice kick (a taste the began with the touch of the tongue and ended with the crisp kick ales have down to the last drop). The IPA was good but not to my taste and the porter had a nice body and maturity in balance/flavor. I wasn't a fan of their stout and the schwarz... , I was not ready for their intensity and boldness so I hope to drop by again and give them another chance with a new combination in my flight. We had some frites played some games, good times. So aside from being hard to find, this place is worth the effort because it has a fighting spirit that it's sometimes hard to find in so many micro breweries popping up in our neighborhoods. I love their creativity and friendly atmosphere. So kudos to Odyssey for trying to stand out, I think it's an up and coming micro brewery. I spoke with the brewmaster who was present and he explained his brews with good detail making it easy to make my flight, I enjoyed the experience. The board games add a sense of coziness in your stay, good atmosphere and good vibes. I hope to return in a near future when their new seasonals come out. Will update review once I visit them again. Cheers.

Love their Hefeweizen. This is one of those breweries that is tucked into an industrial complex behind businesses you never know exist until you need them. Glass repair, 4x4 tuning shops, etc. The tap room is nice, and spacious, the bar a bit small which is weird, only maybe 4 seats? I only had a the hefe, I'm not very bold when brewery hopping sometimes, especially if they've got something i know i like.

Holiday stout with a real cinnamon stick!?! Yes please! I first tried this place a few weekends ago when a good friend of mine was in town, and we were taking her on a brewery tour of Boulder/Arvada. After stopping at Avery and Fate in Boulder, we trekked back to my neighborhood, Arvada, to check out something closer to home. And, man, am I glad this place is nearby! They have live music every Saturday, and a TV, which is perfect for catching the game during their all day Sunday happy hour. The "Don't Pout" holiday stout is my current favorite, but I think the Hefeweizen will be my go to once it's shelved for the season. I also loved the Saisons (they had two when we visited), the Perpetual Darkness Belgian Black, and the Eye of Ra Strong Ale (go easy on this one ;)

Really liked this place. First and foremost the beer was nice. Furthermore the crowd was great, nice friendly people around always makes a place worth visiting to me. The service was excellent, knowledgable, very helpful and kind. The atmosphere in the place was nice as well. Nice decor and a view of the brew-space. Will be back :) actually looking fwd to my next visit.... Note: the place can be a bit tricky to find I drove by from a road that was a bit higher up, thankfully I spotted it, a u-ie and left turn put me back I the right area :)

they usually have a pretty good rotation of beer options along with some good food trucks outside plenty to keep me entertained with board games and accessories available. Ghost drifter pale is a great addittion to the local hop community

An awesome, big expansive brewery, this warehouse set-up serves as a perfect setting for an afternoon of beer drinking. Outside the brewery, once you find it tucked away behind a labyrinth of warehouses, is a yummy crepe food truck - something you wouldn't think pairs well with beer, but oh it does. The bartender was nice enough but could've explained the beers a tad more. Considering I didn't directly ask about the beer, you can't blame the guy, but maybe a little more offered knowledge or table menus with detailed explanations of each brew could have been a nice touch. All in all, this is a super nice facility with really delicious scotch ale.

Another spectacular brewery in the Denver area! Except this one is in the burbs, where good beer is definitely needed! The hubs & I stopped in for the first time last week and we shared a taster tray and enjoyed our spot on their patio. They had about 7 or 8 beers on tap, which is certainly a good amount for a nearly brand new brewery. They certainly have some really decent brews here, too! No IPA on tap so the hubs was a little sad about that, but he enjoyed the pale ale instead. They also had a milk stout and a vanilla porter. I really liked their scotch ale best. I will be back here again sometime soon and look forward to what else they whip up! Note, they are a little tricky to find so keep an eye peeled!

I've been waiting for them to open for a while. I was afraid that their close proximity to the wastewater treatment facility across Ralston would be a problem. Didn't notice it at all. I do hope they read their Yelp reviews because they have the potential to be very popular. I too enjoyed the flaovrs but did notice there was not a glass with a head of foam on it in the joint. That is a problem. Mouth feel is as important to me in a beer as the esthetics of a nicely topped beer followed by lovely lacing on a glass as the beer is consumed. Snobbery? Yeah probably but with all the new breweries in town and the other's opening soon, You have to please snobs too!

Warning - this place is in a really weird location. They know that and they try to make it clear on their website, but it's pretty tricky to find. It's basically in the back of an office park, and not really visible from the road. I imagine this is a good and bad thing for them, bad because it's hard to find, but good because they obviously have the clientele of the office park at their fingertips. I was in for happy hour on a Wednesday, and had a great time. The tap room is well-organized, and even though there was live music that night, it still wasn't too loud to chat with my friend. The beers were tasty (get the Red!) and the staff friendly. If I find myself up this way again, I'll definitely be stopping by now that I know where it is.

I don't find myself in Arvada often, but when my SO found out that there was a brewery near his old high school, we had to check it out. The staff are really nice, and the beers are good. I really enjoyed the Scotch Ale. He loved the strong ale. We've enjoyed the hefeweizen at home (a perk of helping them can one afternoon--look on Facebook to hear when they put a call out for help), and so have our friends. They have some fun stuff, like trivia night, board game night, and food trucks.

Yet another microbrewery opening up in a pop-up commercial/industrial space. Throw a rock in Denver and you'll hit one. A few things distinguish Odyssey from the crowd. First is the location. From I-25 to old Arvada, north of I-70 there is a real lack of microbreweries. Odyssey is in a little bit of a no-man's land, and you DEFINITELY do not want to rely on google maps to get you there. At least if you're not into off-roading in the city. Second is that they don't serve the over-hopped IPAs that seem to be all the rage. They've got a good selection of several varieties of beer, and very little of it is going to be just like what you've had everywhere else. You might not like everything, but it least it wont be disappointingly familiar. Sometimes I really like the Ghost Rider IPA, sometimes not so much. The ESB is not something you find everywhere, and makes a nice change. I've also enjoyed the porter. Finally, Monday night trivia. Home grown (no too-fast-to-follow Geeks Who Drink here) laid back trivia on Monday nights, with food trucks just as soon as they can get the scheduling kinks worked out... The crowd is younger, but very laid back. Kids, dogs, conversation, and hey, they've got battleship and operation if you want to play a game!

All of the beers were great, the brewers know what they are doing, go here for amazingness....

One of my favorite breweries in the Denver area! The Psycho Penguin Vanilla Porter is awesome... even better than Breckenridge's Vanilla Porter. I love their Wednesday night discovery beers... really fun to try new combinations! The atmosphere is good, very mellow and laid back. Even though it's sort of in an industrial area, the patio is very nice and has a good feel. I also like the food trucks that are usually there for dinner. They do a good job of posting Food Truck and Discovery Beer info on their facebook page, so you can check what's going on before heading over.

I love this place. They have a great little patio, and plenty of seating inside as well. It's not too loud, and has the feel of hanging out at a friend's house. They opened Labor Day weekend with a solid selection of beers, but I love that they continue to bring out new and tasty additions! My favorites are their Milk Stout, the Helocentric Hefeweizen, and the Caribbean Lager. And there is always a food truck there to take care of any munchies.

I stopped in for the first time this afternoon around 3pm (they open at 3). I came in on a Thursday at this time and was surprised to see how quickly people started coming in. With the unusual, back of an Arvada business park location, I really wasn't sure what to expect but I have to say that I am so far very impressed and kinda proud to have a good brewery so close to home. As it is my first time here, I decided to do tasters ($1.50/4oz) and try the line up. In an attempt to go from lightest to darkest, I drank like this: Eye of Ra Golden Strong, Ghost Drifter pale ale, sic' em ipa, holiday stout, psycho penguin porter, brick lane nitro esb and a clan warrior scotch ale. I am not ashamed to think of myself as the Reggie MacDaniels of yelp and I tend to over-inflate my critiques but I am really impressed with what I am experiencing here at Odyssey. Seven beers and literally nothing I wouldn't drink a pint of on any given night. Everything holds true to its designated style while still promoting a uniqueness to each beer. This place really must have done their research on what it takes to make a successful taproom and brewery because I think they are firing on all cylinders. And to the best of my knowledge, they have only been here for about a year.
