Our wedding cake was absolutely beautiful and I was surprised with how much I loved it. Niwot Florist supplied the flowers and Das Meyer did the arranging and decorating. I know people don't like talking about how much they spent on their wedding, but when I was researching I always wanted to know the price. We had three tiers and three flavors: berries in a cloud, chocolate caramel, and carrot cake. Since these were all specialty flavors they cost a little more. The total for 100 servings with delivery to Boulder cost us a tad over $500. It was completely worth it. I can't wait to get our (included) one year anniversary cake! P.S. You do have to pay for your cake in cash (or check) so be sure to keep that in mind.

My dad wanted to visit the owner. So I was his driver for the day. We had a great time. Learned how the owner became a baker and how he managed to buy this delightful shop and land. It is family owned and his granddaughter was adorable. We hit it off right away. I asked her what was her favorite pastry and with her hands in the air she said with delight everything. What more can I say? Well the Danish are buttery and full of fruit, cheese, nuts and love. The cherry chocolate chip one was an O M G for me. They make this amazing nutty sweet roll cake. We have had it at many parties at our home. However if your lucky enough you can buy it in a smaller Danish size. I was going to buy some for my guests I had coming that evening and one for my son. However when I went to purchase them they were all gone. Boo hoo! It turned out ok because I ended up buying all different flavors. I would not have tried them if the ones I really wanted were still in the case. I also got 3 jalapeño cheese breads. Now now I shared the goodies with my dad and son. Wow! So yummy. Glad I live an hour away. I plan on going back right before Thanksgiving when I will have a house load of people? I forgot to tell you they are famous for their beautiful wedding cakes. I watched them decorate a few plus a fun Halloween cake. Talking Halloween they have a Haunted House next door. Spooky! What a fun outing that day. Coffee and an apple Danish to start and ended the day with a yummy cherry chocolate Danish.

As a long time patron of this bakery I can only say good things! Every pastry or cake I have ever gotten from Das Meyer has been incredible, always delicious and beautifully decorated to boot! They do require an order a few weeks in advance for most cakes, but it is well worth it.

We used Das Meyer for our wedding cake and they did an outstanding job! It was everything we hoped it would be and more! The cake looked and tasted amazing! I was so thankful to the staff for making the wedding cake of our dreams! I recommend them for anyone needing a cake for a special occasion! They were great throughout the whole process!

Loved my wedding cake, LOVED the flavors, loved the decoration, was delivered on time, with my cake topper and was so tasty. :) and they matched the accent frosting to match the color of my bridesmaids' dresses. Also love cake tasting on Saturday mornings. :) I think I went 3 times. Just to be sure of what I wanted. Also, I looked into a different bakery with similar tasting cake (although not as many flavor combos) and they wanted $200 MORE for the same amount of servings. They are not cheap, but they are way more reasonable then other bakeries and the tastiest around.

Their pastries are excellent! We love to come here for breakfast. Be careful, though; they can be addictive!

We ordered a cake from Das Meyer for my grandmother's 91st birthday in May. When my mother went to pay for the cake, the owner refused to let us pay and told us that anyone who has made it to 91 deserved a free cake! My grandmother was so incredibly touched by the generosity of Das Meyer. My grandmother passed away one month after her birthday, but she often spoke of her free cake in the last month of her life.Thank you Das Meyer for making her last birthday truly amazing.

Caveat: This review is from a visit back in April 05 for a wedding that August. This is the most charming wedding bakery I have ever been to. As a bridesmaid, I attended one of Das Meyer's weekend tasting events to help the bride-to-be select the perfect cake. She ended up choosing their "Godiva White Chocolate", 3 tiered with real orchids surrounding a fondant finish. It was as delicious as it was beautiful. As a first-time wedding cake shopping experience, I can't tell you what would be considered expensive, but this place seemed very well priced and can fit any budget. It's a family-run business with the father and son team producing the confection masterpieces while the mother daughter duo leads the front end of the shop, helping clients make their selections. If I still lived in CO, Das Meyer would be my first choice for a wedding cake vendor. I wonder if they ship??

I needed a birthday cake for my dad and had a custom cake design in mind. We went in for a tasting and quite liked the atmosphere and staff. They have a pretty wide selection of flavors and will work to customize your choice. I ran out of time to ink the design I wanted, but asked them improvise based on what I had in mind, and boy did they deliver! Great value for money, great tasting cakes, croissants and other pastries.

I had them make our wedding cake in June. The cake was a great price and exactly what we wanted. They also let us bring in our own topper to make our cake more special. They were friendly and curteous every time we visited. The free cake tasting rocks! You can stuff yourself until you decide on flavors. The triple white cake is the best! And I am a chocoholic! The cake was also delivered in plenty of time before the reception.

The first time I had Das Meyer was at a friend's birthday party. I had picked up the cake for him, and it was an elaborate chocolate strawberry round cake with all sorts of amazing decorations. I don't think I was that impressed with the cake at that time. Fast forward about a year and a half and now we were picking up cakes for that same friend's kid's birthday. My boyfriend couldn't resist getting a croissant pastry filled with ham, cheese, and mushrooms. It was divine. Flaky, warm, and delicious! My friend had ordered two cakes. One was a chocolate cake, with fudge and a truffle layer in between, and the other was a yellow cake with berries and amazing custard. I loved both cakes, but the chocolate one won me over completely. The decorations were great, just as before. This place only accepts cash or check, so make sure you stop at an ATM first. It is a cute place that is always packed with people! Overall, a cute place that I'm sure I will see again while I'm still in Denver.

I háve ordered lots of birthday cakes from here and never been disappointed. They taste amazing and are so beautifully done. For the quality I think the cakes are a good price.

Das Meyer definitely makes good cakes, but that's only part of the overall package. The other -- more critical -- part is how well they treat their customers and they are sufficiently lacking in this area. Our wedding was a year ago and we had ordered three different cakes for a non-traditional ceremony. We were informed that Das Meyer (like most wedding cake shops) would provide a free cake on our first anniversary. So, we called them to order it and the girl indicated they had no record of our order. She checked under other names, but was unable to locate it. I found a payment to Das Meyer for $143.31 on my bank statement and she indicated that they would make the cake and asked that I just bring the statement in. No problem. About 30 minutes later the manager called and said they would not be making the anniversary cake because they had no record of the original order and that the bank statement would not suffice. Plus, she said that their cakes started at $180.00 (seeming to suggest that I was lying). After some back and forth, she explained that she was "sorry", but still refused to make the cake. A few things here: (1) A simple anniversary cake would not cost that much for them to provide. (2) I had proof of a payment, though not the original receipt (why would I save that for a year?) (3) A little effort on their part could have made for a "tremendous" experience for the customer. In this industry, customer service is extremely important and they failed to deliver. I would never do business with Das Meyer again and will not recommend them. You can find cakes just as good at a place that offers stellar customer service.

This pastry shop does it right. Their products are AWESOME. The only thing I wish they would have done differently is to inform me that the Super Fudgy (I don't remeber what they called it exactly) cake I ordered would be covered in chocolate fondant. It was absolutely gorgeous, but I love buttercream and ganache and HATE fondant... I would have been more specific, but I never assumed they would automatically use fondant. :( Next time I'll be more specific.

Das Meyer made the cake for our wedding, and it was fantastic! It looked great and it tasted fabulous! Although I wanted it to look nice, it was very important to me that it tasted good, so I decided against fondant, which looks beautiful, but tastes horrible, and went with three cake flavors: chocolate lovers, strawberries & champagne, and creme brulee with butter cream frosting. Compared to other bakeries that we visited, it was very reasonable, and more laid back. They have a free cake tasting every Saturday morning, so it made it really easy to stop by and make a decision in a low pressure environment. I highly recommend this place.

A co-worker highly recommended this place and then a family friend got her wedding cake here, so it was a definite possibility on my list of cake choices. I went to the free cake tasting this morning and WOW! We were offered coffee, water and a table, right away and directed to the bar of delish cake. The owner was funny and provided some suggestions when we were debating between flavors. We are an indecisive group so we sat at a table for almost an hour going through the pictures of the different cakes and working through the different options. We had someone stop by our table every 10 minutes to make sure we didn't have any questions and provide refills, and not once did they seem to be pushing us out or wanting us to make a decision. It was always a smile and very helpful manner. I love that the flavors span across a wide spectrum so everyone can find one they like. Our favs were Berries in a Cloud and Orange Blossom. After all that sweetness we followed it up with a croissant with Swiss, ham, mushrooms and spices. MMM MMM good. Das Meyer does more than just cakes, they have the full package of service and some delicious treats too. We will get our wedding cake there and it will be a new weekend morning coffee n treat stop.

This is now our go to bakery for all special occasions. Family ran bakery that knows how to do it right. The older gentleman there is awesome and always helps us to make each occasion the very best with his delicious cakes. I'm glad The Das Myer team has gotten to be a part of the special moments in our lives. From weddings to birthday, they have went above and beyond expectations. My three favorite flavs- toll house cookie, chocolate caramel and chocolate raspberry truffle (the flavors of my wedding cake) I shopped every nook and cranny, every street and every corner looking for the perfect bakery- I'm glad I finally found it. They also make great breakfast pastries, so stop by some morning and grab a bite. Thank you Das Myer for the excellent service and superb quality!!! I am so delighted with My daughter's 12th birthday cake. We hope Mr. Myer got the flowers we dropped off today and knows he has touched my family's heart

I discovered this bakery a few years ago and since then twice a year I purchase the same cake: Lemon Raspberry Poppyseed round . It's quite delicious (5 stars). I've tried other cakes and they were Meh. Their wedding cakes look great, but haven't purchased one. The reason for my rating is the following. 1. Their Cash and In-State Checks only policy. They are stuck in the 19th Century and WON'T take visa/mc. Reason: "we're a family owned business and we'd have to raise our prices". Poor logic. Your cakes are expensive already, what's another $3-$7 for a cake/item I crave? Also, studies have shown that people spend 40% more when they use credit/debit cards, and the added expense of 2.8-3% in fees they'd pay (Uh, Hello...ever heard of Square or PayPal?) would still net them up to 37% increase in revenue. Sounds like a no-brainer to me, but they'd rather send you away or to the conveniently located ATM on site (getting a kickback?) than take CCs. 2. Phone LINE Busy a Lot. Have you heard of getting more than one line. Or, here's an idea: VOICEMAIL! It took me a while before I got through...was bombarded with a busy signal. This IS A BUSINESS, right? 3. Hot in the store/bakery. Who wants to eat in an establishment that's not cooled. It's Denver in August! The door being open with an oscillating fan isn't good for business. Maybe that's what you want, people to get their goods and go. If your A/C is broken, evap cooler not working well, smart business owners get a window or portable AC unit until the larger item is fixed. It feels like this family-owned business thinks things are good enough as they are. After all, business is good: cakes are baked and sold. Therein lies their biggest problem: Not Knowing that GOOD ENOUGH IS ALWAYS THE ENEMY OF GREAT. They could be a GREAT business if they'd upgrade their thinking and amenities. There's a difference from being financially responsible and tightwad-cheap. :-(

Amazing, as always! They are baking the cakes for our wedding - I can't wait to see how everything turns out! Dennis and family are wonderful and have gone above and beyond to make sure that everything turns out just right. Dennis also gave us a great idea that I am very excited about - instead of doing one large cake or a tiered cake, do 6 inch rounds at each of the tables! This way, we are paying roughly the same price and have beautiful centerpieces taken care of at the same time. I have purchased different cake plates for each of the 17 tables to add a little bit of fun. Can't wait!

Das Meyer has been a part of my life of many years! Nearly every birthday or holiday, my family orders a Das Meyer Custom Cake. I cannot emphasize how many friends fight to come to our family events purely for the reason that a Das Meyer cake will be served! Every event, Das Meyer has creatively triumphed their last masterpiece. Das Meyer provides amazing customer service to the greater Denver Area, including celebrity birthdays, awards, events, etc. as well as weddings, holidays, birthday and more. They deliver order precisely on time and understand the urgency for punctuality. The name Das Meyer has earned their vast prestige because of the long, tiring hours, dedicated artistic ability and family lineage. This Pastry Chalet understands pure craftsmanship and talent and shows it in the most illustrious ways. There is a reason that they are the number one place for celebrities to order their perfect event cake.

They have great coffee, cake, pastries. It tastes so good, but be careful not to go overboard. It's easy to go into a sugar coma. They have a Halloween haunted house thing in Oct. if you like getting spooked. Great friendly service. They like plants, they're EVERYWHERE.

My man took me here after we dropped his mother off at the airport. Was it a "Thank You Honey For Being Such A Lovely Hostess To My Mother For Her Week-Long Stay" appreciation token? Possibly. Rather, I think it was his raging hankering for some really, really good German pastries. I can only speak for the cheese Danish, tea, and the environment but they were very good. I felt like I was walking into someone's German's grandmother's home because the place has quaint wood table and chair sets with lace curtains and cute dishes. The service is great and the woman behind the counter answered my questions as to what was the most popular and favorite treats. Thank you to Mckenzie Mason and Peter Trask for finding this gem for us!

The Danishes are to die for. Let me repeat that... The Danishes are to die for!! If it's a drive for you then make that trip out of your way to come here. They have macaroons and sweet breads and cheesecake. Best bakery in my opinion. A Quant little home/shop sits in neighborhood of homes.

Das Meyers created our beautiful wedding cake... 13 cakes, all perfection!! We got nestle toll house, berries in a cloud, and pink champagne as the flavors, all moist and lasted the whole night!! our reception lasted from 5 till midnight and the cake held it's own! I just wish they were closer!!! Trust Das Meyers with all your cake needs... We usually order them for every small and big party!!

This bakery is within walking distance of our house, which is good for about 10 months out of the year. They're closed for all of January and they run Field of Screams for about a month around Halloween. I've gone a few times and tried several things. The breads and cookies are tasty and fresh. But some of the things in the pastry cases (specifically, the fruit tarts that we bought) were dried out, hard, and had that "old fridge" taste to them, like they were not freshly made. That said, if you can get things while they're fresh, you will absolutely not be disappointed! We liked the key lime tarts and brownies. Word of caution: they do not accept credit cards, so bring your check book or cash!

We had our wedding at the Westin this year and Das Meyer is gracious enough to be their cake providers. Included with our package was a basic cake that matched the number of guests we had attending. I attended two of their Saturday sampling days and felt very welcomed! The flavors available for tasting are primarily their upgraded fillings, but you can get a good idea of what the basics would taste like. They work with fresh fruits and are very willing to outline all of the ingredients available to make the filling what you wish. Be sure to come early as the shop fills up quickly and tasting isn't a fast process. There are books and display cakes galore to show what styles they offer. I came with a picture of what I would like, which was a square bottom with two rounds on top. We ended up going for very basic frosting and beading design along each layer, as the price to add fondant and sugar flowers was super high. I had found a cake plate to use that matched that in the picture, but 2 weeks before the wedding, found out that the cake would be twice the size of my plate. Check sizing before buying anything! We ended up with a giant silver base that didn't match our wedding theme and we had to pay to rent. The cake didn't turn out exactly like the picture (I think due to having to be big enough to feed 100 ppl), but we were still very pleased with it. The cake was moist and the fillings (strawberries with jam, lemon, and raspberry jam) were all very fresh and delicious. Definitely keep in mind that it is a cash or cheque only business and that they are closed Sunday and Monday. Our cake supplies had to be returned by the following Thursday, but due to work, I was only able to bring them out to Arvada on Saturday. I called during the week and thankfully wasn't penalized for being late.

The wedding cakes are great, beautiful and tasty. The pastries are pretty but don't taste very good. I first heard about this place because my friend's wedding cake was from here. I went to a cake tasting and sampled the cakes. They were flavorful and moist. They look beautiful. I went back for pastries hoping they'd be equally high quality. I was not impressed at all. I sampled about 10 different things and they all tasted like drywall to me. Not worth the calories or the money. I threw all the leftovers away. I didn't find the service very good either. I had to wait a long time for someone to see me at the counter. They didn't even say hello or welcome, they just wanted to know what I wanted to order. After I ate, I had a few questions about some of the cakes, but no one was around to answer my question so I just left.

I love discovering little places like these. I came in with my wife and eight year old daughter. The setting is very cute and inviting and the cakes on display are beautiful. Everything is made in house and tastes that way including the terrific eclairs and cheesecake bars that we ordered. Nothing overtly sweet or artificial in flavor. Bring cash because that's all they take. The personnel are very friendly and sincere in tone and they only make certain items on certain days so you'll just have to keep coming back (I know we will).

O.... M.... G.... So, I consider myself a bit of a cream cheese danish enthusiast, and Das Meyer has, hands down, the best one I've ever had. None of this, cream cheese secluded only in the center of the croissant; or overly sweet "cream cheese" filling. These are legit, filling all the way to the edges danishes with just the right amount of sweetness and a delightful crumble on top. They also have a special "Saturday only" offering, which is giant cinnamon rolls and stuffed croissants. My fiance got the green chili and cheese stuffed croissant, which he liked okay, but he much preferred my AMAZING cream cheese danish. Go get one for yourself already! (But make sure you bring cash, as they don't take cards).

  • Andi N.

Meah. It was ok. Me and my mom went to check it out, and we bought a strawberry cheesecake piece, a chocolate brownie, and a cream cheese danish. The danish was warm and not too amazing. The strawberry cheese cake didn't actually taste like cheese cake to me. BUT the brownie was pretty good. I'm a chocolate person anyway so I liked it, but everything else was just... meah.

My husband and I are major foodies, and Das Meyer was the first wedding vendor we booked. After trying cakes at a dozen other spots, it was clear that Das Meyer: 1) Made the moistest, most flavorful cakes in the Denver area 2) Had the prettiest fondant-free cakes we'd ever seen 3) Still managed to be the cheapest bakeries we found! We ended up with about 140 servings of cake for our 80 guests, and EVERY SINGLE BITE was gobbled up by the end of the reception! And this is after a 4-course seated dinner! If that doesn't convince you to give their cakes a try, I don't know what will. In terms of decoration: My husband and I wanted an evolution-themed cake; the bottom tier covered in protists, the second in dinosaurs, and the third with a Mammoth and with us and our naked cat on top. Naturally this took a bit of explaining and a lot of dinoflagellate drawings, but in the end everything was better than we could have even imagined! The white-on-white buttercream made it look like a lace pattern from a distance, but the protists were done with such detail that our nerdier friends could classify each one! We'll update after our first anniversary, see how the follow-up cake is!

This is hands-down the best cake shop in the area. We ordered an 8" red velvet cake with cream cheese, along with 8 dozen cupcakes for our wedding in various flavors. Our guests RAVED about the cupcakes! We also rented a great cupcake stand from Das Meyer and the display was absolutely perfect. The decoration was gorgeous! I just called to order our complimentary 1 year anniversary cake, and I'm so excited to get it. In the last year since we were married, we've recommended Das Meyer to many friends for their weddings.

Das Meyer was recommended to us for our wedding cake. We stopped in on a Saturday and although we felt a bit disregarded, we did see beautiful work. We sent a photo of what we hoped our cake would look like and it turned out amazing. It was beautiful, delicious, and precisely what we had asked for. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a cake for a special occasion.

A hidden gem in Arvada. I've been going to Das Meyers for more than a decade. This wonderful bakery is packed on weekend mornings with people picking up wedding cakes, others getting bread and others getting some butter-drenched confections. This is a family operation - a throw back to the days before corporate bakeries. Treat yourself to something from the bakery case, and do it knowing you're supporting a locally owned business.

I've tasted a few cakes from them in the past, pretty good. Went this past weekend to pick up bread for a coworker. The place was so sweet smelling, and it was pretty busy on a saturday afternoon. I bought a sweet pretzel to go as well. My husband and I both agreed that it tasted like a toasted buttermilk eggo waffle with butter and honey with a few almonds on top. So a $3 eggo, not what I was hoping for. My coworker let me taste the apple cinnamon raisin bread, which was pretty dry and the cranberry orange bread which was a little more moist but still not consistency I wanted. The orange marmalade they used tasted yummy though. So far it's a 3 star place. I will try a quiche next time, maybe savory will be more my thing. I still prefer Taste of Denmark for sweet pastries.

Das Meyer designed our wedding cake in September, 2012, and it surpassed our expectations. More than one guest said this was the first wedding they attended where they actually wanted to eat the cake - a testament to just how great it was. They offer tastings most (every?) Saturdays where you can go in and sample a variety of flavors - and there are quite a few - and the staff on hand has been friendly and knowledgeable in all of our dealings with them. An added bonus - they send you a free small cake on your one-year anniversary.

A friend of mine just got married, and rather than having a cake she got several types of pies from this bakery. They were delicious. I think the types were berry, apple and peach.....all of which I highly recommend.

The cake tasting we went to was so much fun and full of energy. They host walk-in tastings every Saturday which means that the shop is filled with brides and grooms and parents of the couple. I preferred that experience to more solitary tastings. It also means that they have two dozen or so flavors to try, which is unparalleled in Colorado. Meanwhile, I really wanted a rose flavored cake (like the flower) and called everywhere in Denver and Boulder to find one. While Das Meyer didn't have one on their menu, I was able to order one for less than $20. When we picked it up and asked to taste it with the other cakes, the owner Dennis Meyer came out to talk to us. He also brought out a second rose-flavored cake because he had made a strong one and a more mild one while he was experimenting in the kitchen. He shared funny stories about his personal history, the prevalence of rose and lavender flavors last century, and the wedding cake industry. Dennis is loud and hilarious and makes me want to buy a cake there every time we are in Colorado. Our wedding cake was lovely and delicious, not to mention less expensive than every other cake place we went. Thank you. (Cash only)

I tried Das Meyer for my wedding after it was recommend by my co-worker (they used them at all 3 of her kids' weddings). Her only warning was they ran a bit late on delivery. The cakes tasted amazing, went w/ butter cream over fondant (how gross is fondant right?). The three layer cake looked amazing! It also tasted great! The top layer was chocolate of some sort (I hate chocolate cake, so it was my husband's layer), orange blossom and lemon poppy seed w/ raspberry filling. I might add, they were on time and pretty helpful - I was in there twice making decisions and changing the look of the cake. They also give you a free top layer on your 1 year anniversary from any of the layers of your cake. Excited! I was so excited, I stopped by on a Saturday to get my birthday cake (that I didn't preorder, just went in to see what they had), got a beautifully decorated strawberry and Champaign cake..since I wasn't sure how it tasted I got to try a piece from the wedding testing...plus a few more pieces. As for price, they are about consistent w/ all other bakeries out there. For wedding they are much cheaper than a few other places (e.x. Cakes by Karen - who are good, but ouch!), and other baked goodies about the same as a Whole Foods. I'd recommend them, and already have to my friend getting married.

We have been getting Das Meyer cakes for years and have never been let down - tasted great, awesome decorations - but I just cut into my birthday cake and was surprised to see it was NOT what we ordered. We ordered white chocolate with raspberry filling. No raspberry filling. My husband called to inquire what was going on and they told him "Oh, yeah we gave you a $5 discount because we didn't have raspberry today". What? They never even bothered to tell him in person that it wasn't the cake he ordered. They offered to make me a complimentary 6" (miniature) cake in the flavor I ordered, but tonight is my birthday and birthday party - nice try. They refused to refund our money. On top of it all, the cake was disgusting. I have never been disappointed in their cakes - but this was almost "wet" tasting, and the filling (without raspberry, of course) was too thin and watery. We will NOT be using them for any functions in the future. I was most upset with their customer service. I do not think that a $5 discount is adequate for not giving you the right order - and it is completely unacceptable that they did NOT inform my husband that the cake was incorrect when he picked it up. I would give them 0 stars if I could. UPDATE: I went back 2 days after my birthday to pick up my "complimentary cake". I dealt with the owner's daughter who was rude an unapologetic and said no less than 5 times "you got exactly what you ordered, it just didn't have raspberry filling". Then I DIDN'T get exactly what I ordered, did I? She was upset that I returned the uneaten cake and kept saying we could have eaten it - I told her that it was not what we ordered, so why would we eat it? Had we known it was incorrect, we wouldn't have brought it home at all. After 10 minutes of discussion and no progress, I accepted $5 and the 6" inch cake (which was delicious, of course) and left. So, we ended up paying $30 for a 6" cake 2 days after my birthday. A complete disappointment. We will never be back.

Das Meyer did our wedding cake last month - and it was absolutely perfect! One of our friends recommended them - and knowing her style, I thought they would be WAY out of our price range - but found that to be NOT true. By sticking to the basic flavors - you can easily get a cake for 125 guests for under $500. However, after going to a few cake tastings (Free on Saturdays from 10a-3pm), we HAD to go with the specialty flavors. We chose peanut butter, midnight orange, and berries in a cloud for our three flavors. AND to top that off - I made a request to add peaches to the berries in a cloud - seeing as how our wedding was right in the middle of Colorado's amazing peach season - and they were able to do it, making it SO great. Additionally - I am a pretty indecisive person, and kept changing my mind on the design of the cake. The ladies at Das Meyer were incredibly helpful in finalizing the design, as well as flexible: we didn't make a final decision until 2 weeks before the wedding! We couldn't have been happier with how it turned out - even though neither the groom nor myself got to eat any of the cake (that's how good it was) at the actual reception, so we're really looking forward to our complimentary 6in round cake for our one year anniversary. I would HIGHLY recommend this bakery to anyone looking for a great wedding cake. Nothing is better than supporting a local business/tradition :)
