Great family restaurant with friendly people. First time in, we found a clean cozy restaurant with great boothes the way I like. Clean restrooms. Great, caring friendly service and delicious food. The meat sauce was refreshing. I had a calzone. I liked it. The bill for two was cheap. We will be back!!!!

Hands down greatest pizza ever. I grew up eating Napoli's and playing the pacman machine (which I'm glad they've kept all these years). My family and I don't ever get too creative when ordering from here. It's always the same #11 (original) and maybe every so often we add fresh garlic. Crust is always crunchy on the outside soft on the inside and I'm proud to boast introducing this place to a few of my friends who've surprisingly never been here before (if you're from Vallejo how do you NOT know about Napoli's?!) it's the best.

My family has been going to Napoli's for 40 years, and every trip is a pleasant reminder of why. The magic they work in this unassuming little building is an absolute treasure to this town. Most Vallejo natives, including myself, know the quality of their food. To this day, I have yet to find pizza that holds a candle to this. When others ask for a recommendation, Napoli's is the first name to come to mind. This is how pizza should be done folks. Everything from the fresh vegetables, perfectly cooked meats, all the way down to their marinara sauce is top-notch. Do you like melted, gooey mozarella? They have it in spades. Perfectly crisp dough? They have that too. In addition, they have a great selection of sandwhiches, my favorite being the chicken parm. Everything about this place embodies quality, and their years of experience does not go to their heads. When you enter, the staff immediately greets you and makes you feel welcome. They are never too busy to treat their customers right, which is sadly becoming a scarce practice. Other restaurants need to follow Napoli's example. No matter where I travel, this will always be the gold standard by which I compare. If you're visiting Vallejo or just passing through, you NEED to try this place. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Best pizza in Vallejo, the dinning room has been updated and they did a nice job. You can also play the classic Mrs Pac-Man while you wait for your pick up. Only bad thing is no delivery, but again I must stress, best pizza in Vallejo!!

Always good food and service. Salads are nice and fresh and cold. Pizzas and pasta are great. Freshly remodeled. Mostly new paint, pictures and lights.

Best pizza spot outchea in the V, hands down! I only get my 3 topping and no other pizza place gets it right but this one. Pesto sauce instead of marinara, feta cheese, and spinach in any size; try it for a healthier alternative. Buffalo wings occasionally, when we do, it hits the spot.

Six of us came very hungry one Friday night to Napoli's. We left full and pretty happy. The salad with house made ranch dressing was fresh and a nice start. The breadsticks were visually appealing though they didn't have the flavor to back it up. Tasted good with the sauce though. Ravioli was tasty and plentiful. Meat sauce was hands down the best between the three different ones we ordered between the various entrees. I'd pass on the chicken parmigiana next time and just stick to what they do best - pizza. Crust was thicker but not thick. (Make sense?) Sauce was ok and maybe a bit much of it but all in all, solid place to go when in Vallejo!

The best pizza I've had in a while. Fresh and tasty ingredients. I've only had the thin crust pizza, half margarita, half tonys special light on the onions and I have to say, there is no turning back! The cheesy garlic bread along with meat sauce is a hearty appetizer. I've also gotten the half ravioli half spaghetti with meatballs and let me tell you, they don't shy away from heaping on the meat sauce and meatballs. I'd recommend !

The quality of the pizza was excellant. I can't argue with that but my server was rude. Order was wrong. Not once but twice and made us feel a little under valued. Last time we came waitress was awesome. This one stank. Good pizza tho. The best. Thanks jill.

My first review in my new town of Vallejo, Ca. Hooray! *600th Yelp Review!* So our new neighbors were quite animate about Napoli being some of the best pizza in town. While I cant dispute their claim (I need to try other places) I can say that Napoli is a solid neighborhood pizza joint that cranks out the standards their way. Ingredients like sauce, meatballs and even the sausage are made in house and after one bite you can taste the quality. Food wise we started out with the Italian wedge salad. Not sure why its called an Italian wedge as it was just the normal iceberg, bacon, tomato and blue cheese dressing. Maybe the sprinkling of oregano over the top? Anyways it was fresh, well dressed and gone in under 5 minutes. Next up were the chicken wings which were kind of disappointing. They tasted pretty good but the skin had a gummy texture. Im thinking they were baked instead of fried. You know putting enough ranch dressing on something will make anything better. We finished off dinner with a My Cousin Vinny calzone. Pizza dough was filled with ricotta, meatballs, onions and cheese then baked until crispy. The meatballs were especially tasty and so tender that they were practically falling apart. I love that they were so generous with their creamy ricotta and mozzarella, gawd I love cheese. Oh and one last thing, they have ice cold Sierra Nevada on tap. How awesome is that?

The minestrone soup was excellent and the chicken pizza was pretty good. But the service was just fantastic! Slightly older waitress who was just awesome! You couldn't have an empty glass for a second. AND they have a old school pacman table to boot!!!

The pizza was good. One star. the location is midcentury. cool. one star. I came because a friend said it was their fav ever place. I didn't see a couple problems coming. waitresses that don't look at you. Cashiers that sneer at you when asked why it took an hour to be seated. And waiting another half hour for your food as staff act like its your fault for coming ...sad. Because the pizza really is good. I had a pesto pizza.

Well....I have lived in Vallejo for almost 20 years and had nothing but good things to say about Napoli until tonight. First off, we get home and the flatbread that you get with their hummus was cold and hard. Second, I asked for blue cheese and got ranch for my wings. Third, this was my first time getting the wings, but they were just greasy and fatty. Not crispy at all. Fourth, the lasagna was luke warm. The garlic bread that came with the lasagna was cold and hard. When you spend $30 on food, you expect good quality. I I could I would go back and take my $5 tip I put in the tip jar. They are good, but I wouldn't go back on a Saturday night.....you trade off quality if you do.

I've been coming to this pizza spot since I was 6 years old. It's near the Vallejo Waterfront, plus it's close to Mare Island. Besides that, They have the best pizzas and the crust is delicious. There are many different varieties of pizzas, appetizers and drinks to choose from. My favorites are the Supreme, Margherita Pizza with Chicken (it is delicious.) and the wings are delicious. The service is awesome and worth the wait. They even have the original Pac-Man game in the pizzeria. I recommend coming here on a Saturday Afternoon (it's not crowded). Overall best pizzeria in Vallejo.

Let me just start off by saying, I've lived in vallejo all my life and frequently visited Napoli's countless times over the years. With that being said, my visit to Napoli's wasn't quite the pleasant experience I had hoped it would be. Myself and three of my friends dined in on a relatively slow night. The first unpleasantry we experienced was when our server went to go refill our drinks and as she was walking back, she placed the drinks on the table two tables ahead of ours, walked away, realized her mistake, then turned and grabbed those drinks and proceeded to give them to us after she just dropped them at the wrong table! I'm sorry, but that's poor hospitality! We should of received new glasses and new drinks at the very least. Secondly, when she dropped off our food, three out of the four dishes came out poorly. For starters my friend ordered a half plate of penne with meat sauce and a side of meatball and did not receive the said meatballs as they were not rang in. Next, my other friend received a calzone with a gaping hole in the middle with poorly dispersed toppings. Lastly, my dish "the famous" fettuccine Alfredo was very very watery. As to my concern fettuccine Alfredo is suppose to be thick, not watery. In conclusion, my experience that night has prompted me to limit my choices at Napoli's but hopefully my next experience will be better.

My family and I have been loyal Napoli pizza lovers for over 25 years. I can remember playing PacMan at the original location when I was a kid while waiting for our Pizza to be ready. Consistently great pizza worth every penny. So glad they have a Benicia location so we can have Napoli pizza delivered whenever we want!

Pizza is my drug of choice. I was born and raised in the bay area and have travelled all over the country and had pizza everywhere. This place is not the best of all the ones i have tried but it is very good just a bit pricey, nice staff.

We had their pizza just after we moved here because we moved in down the street and even after moving farther away it's my favorite pizza. My wife had great butternut squash ravioli last fall. We love the tony's special pizza but only upto the large size if you go XL the crust gets too thin and the sauce will leak through. MMMM my mouth is watering thinking about it. YUM

When I was a kid every city and town had at least one family-run Italian place, with pizza, ravioli, spaghetti, and good cheap red wine. Napoli is like a time machine, with the kind of home-made goodness and super friendly service that is getting harder and harder to find these days. I don't know how long they've been in business, but the classic neon sign out front suggests they've been around at least as long as I have. It's easy to imagine what it must have been like on a Saturday night years ago, when Mare Island was in full swing and I'm guessing there must have been lines out the door. I love everything about Napoli, the pizza, the home-made ravioli, the classic green salad with the salami and kidney beans, the 50's-style dining room, the waitress calling everyone "hon" and refilling your water when it's only half empty. A great choice for a family dinner, a date or whatever. Five well-deserved stars.

What, an actual good restaurant? In Vallejo? Yeah, go figure. Good pizza, decent prices. I've had better (several places in North Beach, Zachary's -- though I just like Chicago style better in general, Rocco's Dominator pizza in WC) but at least I'm not confined to the Round-Domino-Hat-Hut-Caesar's "pizza" places. I still miss Zachary's though. If anyone else feels the pain of trying to find a good restaurant in Vallejo and hasn't tried this place, it's worth a shot.

If i had easy access to a place I ate at all the time when I was living in Australia, I would not be able to say Napoli's is the best pizza. But since Australia is however many miles away and I'm in California... Napoli's is the BEST!! I like their combination. Good mix of meats and veggies... and I love their salad w/ranch dressing. The ranch tastes like it's homemade stuff or something... but love the salami and beets in the salad. the only down side is they don't deliver. But I'm willing to go pick it up to have Napoli's versus some other place.

I've lived all over the country and found that Napoli's (thin crust) pizza is my favorite of all time! Family run/nice people. Plus everyone's named Anthony. (one son, one cousin, one father). Go there or order "to go." My #1 favorite (I get it at least once a week) is Max's Special - Vegetarian Pizza/no olives/add pineapple. It gets my high.

I had been wanting to give Napoli's a shot for awhile now. I've been in the Vaj for many years now and was ashamed of myself for not having tasted the fine italian food made here. Being Italian, I thoroughly enjoy a well made Italian feast. The atmosphere here reminded me of a place in San Diego I used to go to when I was a kid (Napleone's). Small, quaint, warm, and comfortable. I went here at 9 pm on a Monday night and there were a few other patrons. The service was prompt and welcoming. The lady was a great hostess/waitress. I got penne w/ meat sauce. It was good, not outstanding. I guess I should have tried their pizza, since mostly everyone comes here to get pizza. However I was pretty stoked that it came with a giant dinner salad and garlic bread. I basically ate the salad for dinner and took home the penne to eat for breakfast the next day, and since I was hungover the next morning this was a treat!

My husband had always raved about this place because his dad used to bring him here years ago. He finally took me and there and I must say the pizza was outstanding. We called in and picked it up and its one of those pizzas where they pile everything on and when you take a bite off a slice the toppins fall off - but its sooooo good. I remember it being it hot and it survived the ride home. I've only been there once and it was a memorable experience.

I am NOT a pizza fan... Or so I thought! I lived in Italy for 2 years and it ruined me for American pizza... I just couldn't go there anymore. My Dad was visiting one year and took us out to dinner at Napoli.... Well, it changed my mind about pizza forever! I LOVE their pizza... I drive by the restaurant every day on my way home from work and start to crave it! It's absolutely the best - and, it reheats in the oven and is 99% as good as fresh out of the oven... I bet you can't say that about any other pizza you've ever tried to reheat. Oh, and not to neglect the rest of the menu - but the rest of the menu is also top notch... So go and try it.... You'll love it, too!

I love everything about this place!! It's on the cusp of Vallejo's historical district, very close to the waterfront, and has that traditional family pizza parlor atmosphere and decor. Another heads-up: lots of off street parking right next door! We've only had the pizza, although there's lots of Italian fare to choose from off the menu. But the pizza is this place's signature trademark... YUM!! If you're in the mood for beer, they have pitchers and the "mini-pitcher" (equivalent to about 3 bar-size glasses of beer) and a vintage table-top Pac-Man video game. Great family place!!

Just expect a little wait. The pizza is fresh and the crust crackles when you eat it, kind of like a baguette.

When I went with friends to Six Flags, this was where we went for lunch. I had to do a little research to figure out where to go in Vallejo, and this was the place I decided on. The pizza was good, and our group enjoyed what we ordered. Antonio Guerrera has owned and operated it since 1968!

My husband and I recently went on a trip up to Norcal and went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom for the day. After a long day, we were starving and were in search of something other than the Carl's Jr and other fast food joints nearby. I went onto yelp and found this charming family style pizzeria and Italian restaurant. We drove over and ordered a medium pepperoni pizza and garlic cheesy bread. The bread came out in less than 10 minutes and was delicious! In another 10-15 minutes, the pizza came out. It was good, but not amazing. I really liked the family feeling of the restaurant and the staff was very friendly. There's plenty of seating for big groups as well. If I'm ever in the area again, I might consider coming back, not because the pizza was memorable, but because there weren't many good options near the amusement park.

Sorry Napoli, I am a loyal customer. Tonight the pizza was good but the service was dismal. I was there on Monday, August 31. We walked in and someone from somewhere yelled out "Are you dining in?" Blindly we said "Yes" and the voice said "Sit anywhere you want." Okay. Usually, at Napoli we are greeted by someone who hands us a menu and shows us to a table. That person would usually ask if we want anything to drink and we are off and running. Well we did find a table and sat down, waited a bit, not sure if anyone cared we were there, some employees talking amongst themselves behind the counter, and some others paying close attention to their cellphone. We trusted that someone would appear shortly to see if we indeed wanted to eat and drink there. Finally, a waitress came over, oddly seemed to be in a hurry and asked if we were ready to order...not quite but we wanted a couple of cold beers and probably a pizza. So she took our drink order and said no problem ... The beer at your place is usually served chilled just right in frosty cold glasses. When I am at your place it is cold beer and pizza most of the time. We sat down, I ordered a beer, and it was nearly room temperature but I did get a cold glass. We went to find the waitress because I decided to try again, this time draft beer seemed chilled but the mug was warm. Never had that happen before. Our waitress did not come back to check...not even one time during the whole meal, but I digress. When our waitress came back to take our food order, I chose a salad and my partner ordered a pizza. Our waitress asked me if I wanted my salad at the SAME time my partner got his pizza, I said yes (thinking it would be better if we ate together and it is less legwork for her) Well after waiting a while which was fine, drinking my warm beer, our dear waitress brings the pizza. Then she looks at me and says oh I'm bringing your salad right now and she turned...but instead of getting my salad, she went to get someone else's order, brought it to their table then, I guess she went to get my salad or make my salad but it any rate I got it about five minutes later. Not a word just put it down and was gone. Our waitress never checked back to see if we needed anything, In fact she sat down at a table herself and took a food break. The place was not super busy which when busy, I always allow leeway for so I just don't understand the lack of attention and it was disappointing. I felt like I didn't want to be there. Usually the service is wonderfully friendly and extremely good. This time I was glad to get out of there.

Not impressed Ordered a Small cheese pizza ( The sauce didn't have any flavor ::( And a stuffed pizza thingy ( forgot what it is called) lol with extra cheese ( they charged me for the xtra cheese but didn't put it in )It came with bell peppers, and they didn't even sauté the bell peppers they were raw !...I ordered over the phone , and when I got there , I didn't like the VIBE, the guy who rang me up had pizza sauce on his hands, and I didn't like his Attitude The set up is Un acceptable ( Food where they make the pizzas are right next to the Register ....The place is small and there's no "Warmth " to it....I won't be Back !

Yelped this place out of desperado to feed two hungry kids after a long day at the amusement park. The kids wanted pizza and I found great reviews of this restaurant It was a Sunday night, and the place was packed. That's a good sign, all tables and booths were filled. Lucky for us, there was no wait as a table had just became available. According to my fellow yelpers, kids can make their own one topping pizza for 6$. When I asked the waiter, he immediately asked, "how old is he?" "8," my nephew said. "Oh ok. That's fine." That was a turn off, like my 27 year old self was going to order a kids pizza... The pizza is made, dough being spun & all, in the front, straight ahead from the entrance. I'm not sure how sanitary that is, considering the cash register is inches away from the pizza making station. We ordered two half orders of fettuccine Alfredo, half spaghetti/half ravioli, and a small pizza. The fettuccine Alfredo was very, very rich and decadent. Good flavor with specks of bacon smothered in between the cream sauce. The spaghetti was bland, the red sauce lacked any flavor, just tasted like cooked tomatoes. The ravioli had fresh, but very soft pasta skin.. May have been over cooked. The dish came with 2 or 3 large meatballs, not much flavor in that either. The BBQ chicken pizza was tooooo salty, not much sweetness or tang to the sauce that I love about BBQ chicken pizzas. The sauce kind of reminds me of the BBQ sauce from the plastic bottles @ the supermarket. The supreme pizza was OK, a variety of meat toppings which I like. Crust had a nice bite to it. It was cute that my nephew got the chance to make his own pizza, they come out with the dough on a wooden board, and the toppings, sauce,& cheese on a plate for him to decorate with. Now.. What I don't get is.. why did I get charged 1.25$ x 2 for "Alfredo" sauce when I ordered the fettuccine ALFREDO. No where on the menu did it say there was an extra charge for "Alfredo" sauce with a fettuccine ALFREDO entree. Yes, I understand if I ordered a spaghetti and asked for Alfredo sauce instead of red... it just seems that my waiter goofed up, because when I asked for ranch sauce, and I asked if their was a charge, he replied "81 cents." Ok, "no thanks on the ranch." "Don't worry I'll get you two on the house." Mm hmm, my bill states I got charged for a ranch. I just don't like the feeling of being bamboozled. Not sure if he was extremely busy and made the mistake of charging me the "Alfredo" sauce.. But I didn't even bother haggling him for an explanation. Unfortunately, I wouldn't come back. The 4 stars on yelp is deceiving.

Today was a disappointment- after waiting 20 minutes, we went looking for a server. She told us that we were sitting at a reserved table. We said that there wasn't a reserved sign and it wasn't the only table. After another 10 minutes the server returned to a table next to us and still didn't serve us, so we left. First time we've been disappointed here. Heading to Nujos. Fingers crossed. This was on 8/11 and I gave one star - that was a hungry and disappointed rating. --- I returned on 9/2 with my family and we experienced the same wonderful service that we had in the past, and of course the best minestrone in the North Bay. I'm glad that the owner read my review and asked us to come back. I'll be back and chalk up the 8/11 visit to a bad night and not the norm.

Solid. If you're looking for a decent pie and happen to be looking for a place to eat in Vallejo, this is a great bet. On a Thursday night at 7, our party of three was fortunate to find an open table in this rather small establishment. The locals, including the Vallejo PD, seem to agree that Napoli is worth the visit. They have dough balls available for the little ones to play with and a kid's make-your-own option where they bring out tossed dough and let the kids smack on the sauce, cheese, and toppings of their choice. They will then cook it for you...how convenient! I had a Hawaiian with black olives. It's a pretty forgiving topping combination, so what stood out to me was the crust. It was great! Thin, sturdy, crisp, and delicious. I really enjoyed it. A positive experience overall and no regrets! Well done, Napoli.

Friends told me this is the place to get Pizza in Vallejo, so I gave it a try. I liked the casual, neighborhood, family and date friendly atmosphere; and I'm always pleased when a place doesn't freakout over my service dog. I got a Pizza to go, and it didn't take all that long, even with other customers in the place ahead of me. When I got home and ate, I could see why it had been recommended.

We found this place heading back home from a local tour. Decided to stop in based on all the great reviews. It was a standard pizza place with good-value pizza. The toppings appeared to be fresh, just wasn't a remarkable crust. Many reviews said to get the Cheesy garlic bread- So we did. It was a hot dog bun filled with cheese toasted in the oven. Ask for extra garlic if you like garlic! Positives - The customer service was excellent, and the pizza was brought to our table quickly.

Great pizza, though a bit pricey, hence the four stars. They have recently remodeled which is nice. They now offer gluten free pizza and pasta too! Thank you for that! If you go during the day, ask for Dietta. She's been there for years and is THE best server in the place. You will not be disappointed.

This will be short and quick. Sat down at our usual table in the back corner, had to grab our own menus which was no biggie. Waited 15 mins before I got up and asked the cashier for assistance. I was told that the table was reserved for a party but someone will help us. Politely waited 10 more mins and we were still ignored. Mind you there was a server in that section that walked by us several times.

Real family sit down restaurant with friendly staff. Super attentive wait staff that always go out of their way to make guest feel comfortable... Over heard one of the waitresses say "let me get rid of the evidence" when cleaning up another tables dishes. Which made everyone around me smile... Almost in que. If you find yourself in Vallejo... In the mood for Italian food and family friend atmosphere. This is THE place!

Damn it!!! How I was hoping I would love this place. I just moved from the city and unlike there vallejo doesn't have that many options for pizza. I love pizza, this place has decent reviews which was the reason I ordered from here. Picked up a large pepperoni with the infamous garlic cheese bread, 25 bucks for both. Smelled soo good the drive home was a punishment. I first opened up the bread which was real good! Really good! But... this place is known for its pies, at first glance I automatically thought chain pizza with a big crust. I still had hope! I take a bite.... felt like I bit damn cardboard! After my first slice my jaw was hurting! Before I got to the crust I could of sworn this was a reheated pie I got until I reached the crust. It was surprisingly good. Now I'm freaking out about were I will get my pizza fix!! I notice the owner replies to low star reviews, I think that's cool! I know sooner or later I will be going back hoping this was just a fluke and I just got a bad pizza... till the 2 stars

What an incredible find! I'm from the South Bay and was up in the Napa area for a triathlon. After a race, it's time to splurge and what better way than with carbs and dairy. What I loved about Napoli was no non-sense great food at a reasonable price. We started with an order of garlic bread that might have been enough to be a meal in itself. Fresh baked baked covered in cheese and garlic. Dipped in a meat sauce that I kid you not, will change your life. We also ordered meatballs which was again covered in meat sauce and liberally sprinkled with cheese. The starters made our table of 4 regret ordering two half-order pasta dishes, a Caesar salad and half a pizza. First the pasta: one of them was the tri colore covered in pesto which was on point. The second was a ravioli that was absolutely incredible. Both came with bread covered in butter and baked with, once again, cheese and garlic. My pants fit a little bit tighter just recalling the meal. As if that weren't enough... The pizza: we ordered half Hawaiian and half a pizza that I can't remember the name, but I know it came with ricotta cheese. It was everything you could want from pizza. The dough had a nice chew and was well cooked. The non-Hawaiian side didn't come with a pizza sauce, but was covered with olive oil instead and was my favorite. The service was phenomenal and everything our server suggested was pure gold. I can't wait to visit again. If you're looking for great pizza at a great price without the Napa pretentiousness, Napoli is the place to be. Thanks for the great food and great experience!

Stopped in for lunch while my Victory was being serviced across the street. The staff was very polite, my drink glass was never more than half empty and the calzone was pretty. When the waitress noticed the military insignia on my credit card she thanked me for my service to our Country. That meant a lot and is just another reason why I'll return when I'm in the area.

Napoli sits on Tennessee St. near the Mare Island entrance. It is a great spot. I have been 3 times and eaten there and had pizza picked up and taken home. In both cases, the pizza was great. The crust is flavorful with a great chew, it is crisp and a tasty. The sauce is a great compliment to all the toppings, tart and tomatoey (if that is even a word), it is a full flavored, well rounded sauce. The toppings we have had were all fresh; flavorful and crisp. I have only eaten the pizza, I have a ways to go to eat through the menu, but I have time. The wait staff has been very attentive, cheerful and helpful each time we have been there. You know, when you walk in to a new place you feel a bit nervous if everyone just sits or stands and watches you walk in. Here they greet you, ask if you are dining in, and tell you to find a spot- and get to you pretty quickly. Since they make everything after you order it, the food is not coming right at you, but you have time to have a drink and chat (or text and take photos of all the cool things you are doing.) Families, kids, couples, groups... all are there...eating, hanging out and enjoying themselves. Feels like home ... come in, sit down, and enjoy the time. They have been a welcomed find in Vallejo. I'm a fan.

We were visiting six flags discovery kingdom and found this little gem. We had the fettuccini alfredo, the hawaiiana and the life changing spicy sriracha swine pizza. If you like spicy food this amazing combination of ingredients will blow your mind, and it's all on top of their amazing pizza dough. The service was great, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. If your looking for a home style pizza pie give these guys a try.

We were in the area and needed a place for dinner, read the great reviews here at Yelp and we tried it out. We ordered a extra large half "Tony's Special" and half "Traditional" based on the review here. Let me start with the good things first. The place was filled with locals. When we got there it was so packed (kind of weird, as it was located in a neighborhood where it only has one restaurant. Originally we wanted to order take out, but since our hotel was far away so we decided to dine in. The owners allowed us to sit down and wait, and eventually we got a table. The pizza was really just OK. We ordered the extra-large one, which we really enjoyed it that much. I guess if we would have ordered a large one maybe that would be better? Anyway, it's just OK (guess I'm spoiled with all the great pizza restaurants that you can get in San Francisco)... :D

I have always loved this place. The pizza is literally the best. But I feel like I was completely ripped off today. I paid $18 for chicken strips, a salad and cheesy bread. I know this pace isn't the cheapest but the quality of the food makes up for the price. I got THREE chicken tenders. THREE. For $6.50?? And they were so tiny! Last time I was in and ordered those we got like six or seven and they were HUGE, we couldn't even finish them. The Gina's House Salad is the best, but my to-go container was barely filled halfway. I probably won't be back for a while. I love supporting local business and this place has always been a fav but I still have to get more bang for my buck then that. Disappointed Napoli.

Went in at 11am, right when they opened. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. Already knowing we wanted pizza, we ordered the small Margherita on new York thin crust and asked to have it cooked crispy. Let me just tell you, this was the best looking, smelling, flavorful pizza I've had in a long time!! The toppings were so fresh, almost as if the cook had plucked everything from his garden that morning. The inside is very clean. They play music every weekend and it's always something different.

Very good as always... Make sure to order their Beef Ravioli and Caesar Salad, the best combination ever. Service it good, they are friendly and very accommodating. Overall I would recommend this plave.

Great experience in person, came in on Tuesday night and was served by a very pleasant young lady. She is the reason this place doesn't get one star. It was a completely shitty experience trying to pick up a takeout order the following night. The order: large pizza with sausage and a calzone with chicken, pesto and bacon. Seemed pretty simple to me, I called it in about 6:45 and they told me to pick it up at 7:30. My dad was there at 7:30 and they hadn't put the order in the oven - what the FUCK? Then the calzone doesn't come with pesto in it. Of course that wasn't apparent until I cut it open. To top it all off the dumbass who put together the order gave me a half-full container of pesto. So basically they made my dad sit for 45 minutes and then fucked up half the order. Not worth it. It is a shame too because the food was pretty good.

Everything is made at the restaurant. The ravioli and tortellini is made from scratch and they give you a large portion of garlic bread when you order pasta. The dressing for the caesar salad is made with a lot of garlic and isn't as thick and fatty as usual Caesar salad dressing. Price is reasonable

I'm satisfied with my half pepperoni and half super combination pizza. The pizza dough was great all the toppings, first time there after being in Vallejo So many years, it was worth the cost.

The hand-made pizza will keep you coming back, but the the service can be a coin toss. A word to the wise, if you plan on dining in call in a reservation even if it's 5 minutes before you arrive. Lesson learned trying to walk in and get a table with a party of more than 4 and seeing the "I just called" parties being seated before us.

Just walked out. Sat with my 5 year old for 20 minutes, went and asked cashier for help, waited another 10 minutes FOR A MENU. Server Michelle showed up and handed us the menu and says...So you know what you want? UMMM no we just got the menu. we order and 10 minutes later are asked to move tables so they could seat a LARGER table. Still no salad, no wine, just got a bottle of lemonade and a cup sat on the table for the little one. Move to the smaller table, by this time its been an HOUR. So I go and ask Michelle...can you just cancel the drinks and put the order to go. She says "why is there a problem?" I say "Well, weve been here a while. actually an HOUR and Im really just ready to go now" She says ok then PROCEEDS TO FOLLOW ME TO OUR TABLE and LOUDLY ARGUE about how long I have been there. LOL for someone who didnt pay attention to us for the first 20 minutes she seemed to be sure of her self. Since my child was with me I didnt pull out my phone and show her rude self the text I sent the moment I sat down. I just LEFT, saying "Thats ok just cancel the whole thing" to which she yelled loudly after "PERFECT WE DIDNT WANT YOUR BUSINESS!!!" LOL! For asking for TO GO Well, I live 1 block away, Last year my business, employees and self spent several thousands of dollars there....not any more. Excellent customer service skills MICHELLE!!!!

Tonight we had a lot of extra work in my business place and my kids would definitely become hungry. As soon as picking up my kids from school I searched a good restaurant in Vallejo and found this place had tons of good reviews. I ordered to take out small pizza and a sandwich at around 6:50pm. And then I waited and waited and waited and waited until 8pm. OK I am a kind of person very good at waiting but seems like to me common sense to notice customer when order if I should wait for over one hour. Still I am OK. I also run a small business I know how hard to satisfy every single customer even we do our best. However what really made me disappointed and a little upset was that while I was waiting for over 1 hr, other customers who came way later than us already started having their pizza on the table. I don't know if table customer first is this place's policy or it was just mistake but I could not understand. That's why I could not smile when I pick up. And finally, the pizza was just OK. No special. Actually papa murphy I frequently go was way more delicious. It is ready in 20 min even in the busiest time. Sorry one star (actually zero star) is my honest rating today. No re-visit this place. My wife was also disappointed with the food.

Napoli's is amazing! I get food from here a lot my favorite is the chicken fettuccine and the meatball sandwich is really good too. Maybe not the best location but all the locals go there. People that work there are always friendly. If your looking for some great Italian food Napoli's is your place :)

I love this place. I can't even tell you how many years I've been coming here. I can tell you that it is consistently wonderful cuisine. The original pizza and the wedge salad is perfect end to any day. Great family place with wonderful service every time.

There are only three pizza places as good as Napoli. I gave them four stars because of the low quality of the seating area. The atmosphere is low end. But the pizza is outstanding!!! The calzones are very good too. The pizza is five stars all day long.

We LOVE this place.....since for ever!!! We haven't been here in a while due to not really eating out much, but my daughter wasn't feeling well & chose Naploi's to help make her feel better!! They have it now where the kids can build their own pizza!!! Super awesome idea!!

The sign says famous for pizza and I really hope thats the case because the other items that we had weren't anything worth calling famous. So my girlfriend and i ordered the lasagna and pasta parmigiana with chicken respectively. She told me hers was ok but nothing to write home about. Mine however wasn't very good at all. First off I got it done wrong (without the chicken) and I knew something was off when she told me that she's take it back and have the cook "throw some on". What the brought back was the same dish of pasta, now Luke warm, with what seemed to be microwaved chicken bites on it (which by the wayward $2 to add). They tasted bland and like rubber. The pasta probably would have been decent when it was hot but I can't say for sure. It just tasted greasy and bland to me. Overall I can't say anything about the pizza cause everyone around us got it and it did look very very good. So that's why it's three stars for me, as I didn't try their obviously real dish and got the scraps and the customer service was actually very good. She was very nice and polite.

The pizza was good, we ordered the Pesto Fresco, it had pesto sauce, artichoke, garlic, spinach, and zucchini. I thought for some reason it was supposed to have chicken (because my boyfriend told me,) which we were unsure if it had any. I know it sounds odd as to how would I not notice if there was meat on it or not, but the pieces of artichoke looked like chicken so I really couldn't tell. You should ask for chicken on it. We also ordered a half order of the cheese ravioli with the meat sauce, it came with the garlic bread and both were good. The service was nice.

Their Pizza is DELICIOUS. The flavor and texture of what they have brings joy to the senses.. excitement of flavor and deliciousness as you take your first bite into a slice of their pizza. Service is good, food is wonderful. Not much else to say, but a must try.

I absolutely love their pizza! You know from the minute you walk in that you're about to eat the best pizza NorCal has to offer, it is always packed! Expect a wait, but it's well worth it. Each time I go I see many of the same faces I've seen for years which is always nice. Even if you aren't a pizza lover, you have to try their pizza at least once.

So this is my second time ordering pizza from this place. As I recall, the first time we ordered pizza was very good, borderline awesome. Tonight...whole different story. The owner has stated in many responses to poor reviews how the business " has been around since 1956". Kudos for longevity! Not to mention customer service was on point for it being over the phone. Pizza 3/15/2015- Mediterranean pizza nothing to write home about. Very disappointed overall. Taste- Flavorless dough + tart sauce+ tart olives+ tart artichokes+ fresh tart tomatoes + tart feta cheese = tart muddled one toned flavor. I asked for chicken and sausage to be added and that couldn't save or enhance flavor. Dough- tough crust and split in the middle (toppings falling every where) gooey and gummy towards the end. Sauce- Fresh yes. But too tart. There are ways to tone that down. Toppings- not enough for what you pay for, especially when you add something that is a " specialty" topping. I was starving so I ate it. But didn't enjoy at all. After my first slice I was ready to turn my stove on a make a homemade dinner. It was too hot in Vallejo- reason I ordered pizza. For spending close to $40 dollars on medium pizza, I expected a little more wow factor. Also ordered the garlic cheese bread. Flavorless as well. I wanted to indulge in my pizza like I did the first time. Not sure if I'd order again. Maybe my choice of pizza was wrong, or perhaps I'm a food snob??? Just wish the price out of my pocket could justify the taste or lack of... oh and I'm still hungry...

Napoli's is isn't just great pizza, they make one of the best Caesar salads, I've ever had. The Raviolis are very good too. We tried both the meat and cheese Ravioli with the meat sauce, yum. However, next time we might try the cheese rav with a pesto or the Alfredo sauce. The first time I tried Napoli's they had made a mistake on my, to go, pizza, they made me a new pizza, right away and had it in the oven before I had finished paying, wow! Great recovery, love that! Napoli's will become one if our regular dinning place when in Vallejo.

Using Yelp recommendation, and on our way to Napa for the weekend this place looked like a good bet. Driving up to it made us wonder, but we trusted the Yelp community. And once again, they were dead on. Friendly service, good food, priced right. I had the wedge salad, meatballs and garlic cheese bread. The salad was quite flavorful, the meatballs were delish, and the cheese bread was adequate. My husband had a Caesar salad and lasagna....HUGE portion. Give it a try..worth it!

When I first moved to Vallejo I was told that I had to get pizza from here from friends.. I've had about 3 pizzas from here and they're ok at best. I'm not a fan of the crust as its too dry my my liking.. I prefer either a thin and fluffy crust. The toppings are tasty but the sauce is too sweet, I prefer a bold sauce that compliments the toppings and pizza. I much prefer another pizza place across town that gives you a lot for very little. Not trying to take anything away from here but I was disappointed in what I had. To reply to the owner, I've have only ordered the one with meats and cheese, not a huge fan of vegetables. Like I said the meat was very tasty, but the sauce and crust is what I didn't prefer.

I've been going here for years. The pizza is great, tasty and fresh. I also love their house salad, so yummy. Kids can make their own pizza. They bring out the dough, the kids out the sauce, cheese and toppings, and then the waiter takes it to the pizza oven. My son loves this! We make pizza at home, so he likes to feel like a pro when we come here. The staff is friendly, the place is charming, it could use some remodeling though. It's a staple in Vallejo and a must try for those of you who haven't been here.

So delicious! I ate the ham & pineapple pizza and I thought it tasted fresh. There wasn't any extra grease and not too salty. The cheese was cooked to perfection and the crust was not too soft or not too hard, just right. The vibe of the place feels very welcoming. Also, they have excellent and prompt service. They really want to take care of their customers and they were very attentive during the entire time. Highly recommend if you're out in Vallejo to check out a local restaurant with quality and fresh ingredients. Will definitely come back.

It's really hard to beat Napoli for consistent quality for food and service. The best pies in Solano County are served here daily. They also serve a might tasty Saginaw that is brewed locally with a special Yelp deal: $2 for 12 oz.

We picked up dinner last night .... Two lasagna dinners .... Except no dinner just some lasagna... And it was not that great.... Not horrible but not great .... I'm kul off that spot ! I will not b ordering from them again ... It should b pretty easy to give me my order complete ..... Especially when I was looking forward to the salad .... If the food had been good I would have been less unhappy.... No reason to call them n complain when I am not going back .... I'll call that extra ten they got off me as a learning tax lol

Have been going here for many years. Recently met up with some friends for some pies and beer. As always, we were treated great and were given perfect service.we were able to get the big table even though they were very busy. If you were are ever in Vallejo this place is top notch. A favorite of the locals. It is small and quaint but has recently been remodeled. The pizza is Second to none, especially when you dine there.

Napoli's is by far one of the worst places I have ever eaten! A. Poor service (clearly understaffed)! B. Food was terrible! I ordered chicken parmigiana and instead I got noodles topped with chicken nuggets and sauce. If you are in the area and decide to eat here...I can concur that you are definitely being mislead by the 4 star rating on Yelp! So do yourself a favor and go elsewhere and save yourself the money!

Amazing place in Vallejo. Pizza's hot, food is good, service is excellent. Always accommodating and smiling, the space is pleasant and welcoming. They are very generous with the food so we'll have a late night snack later. Our waiter, Joe is very sweet and amazing! Good job, folks.

Love this place. Great people that are really attentive and genuinely just.... nice. Great pizza. Our daughter loves making her own pizza just the way she likes it (at the table, fun idea for kids) and then they bake it for her and serve it. Local beer on tap and a good variety of food for vegetarians.

By far the best pizza I've had in Solano County. This place has been around for a LONG time and once you taste it you'll understand why. The sauce and toppings are very good. The pizza dough is tossed right in front of you. Service is excellent and they are always busy. Might be best in bay.

Calzone was ginormous! One of them could definitely feed 1.5 men. I swear there was probably like one pound of cheese in it. Also the meat sauce that comes on the side is very tasty, nothing out of this world, but a good above average sauce. Totally worth it for $5.99. The extra fillings/toppings inside for $1 each was not worth it in my opinion though. Great decor inside, great service, lots of parking (at least on a saturday during lunch time). Definitely will come back here next time I'm in town.

Thee best pizza I've ever had! This is the only pizza place I ever go to. Everything is good! A must try. They have the best ranch too! The crust is excellent and most of the people I know who don't like crust actually will only eat their crust! The meatball sandwich is good as well! Best minestrone soup around!

A co-worker recommended that we try out this place and boy I am glad that we did! Our first impression: A hole in the wall. But, most holes in the wall have the best food, right?. There were families with children, families with teenagers and couples having dinner. The atmosphere was relaxed and the family vibe was cool. What we ordered: - Small Pesto Fresco pizza and added chicken - I love, love, love their crust. It's not dense, or too crunchy, it's just right! The pesto sauce was to die for, the zucchini and the spinach were clearly fresh, and the artichokes gave the whole thing amazing flavor. - Small Margherita pizza- The basil and tomato were super fresh it had tons of gooey cheese, my oldest said this was his favorite by far. - Chicken Parmigiana- Teenagers can eat, man can they eat! Not only did mine eat half of a small Margherita, but he inhaled his entire chicken parmigiana. In between mouthfuls he told me that "it was the best chicken parmigiana I've ever had". Next time, I'll ask for a bite so I can taste it before he devours it all. I did notice that it came with 2 nice pieces of garlic toast, which looked really, really good. - Kid's pizza- Kid's can make their own pizza. My 8 year old was ecstatic. They brought out the dough already formed, a plate with tomato sauce and whichever ingredients your child wants to add to their pizza, in my case my son got cheese and pepperoni. Then they take it away and bake it. He was so proud of his "artwork" and he promptly ate half. I really like the size of the kid's pizza. It's not as small as a personal pizza, that leaves you still hungry, but it's smaller than a small pizza. It's just perfect. Service: The front of the place had every table filled up. Our waitress was nice and attentive. She was awesome. We had amazing food and wonderful service. It's not often that you get those 2 things. You either get good food and crappy service or awesome service and crappy food. They definitely made an impression, and I am sure we will be back!

We just moved to Vallejo and have been here once for eating in and once for take out. Both times everything we ordered was delicious and very fresh. I really don't know what the hype is all about but this is not a four star establishment in any capacity. The location is in a off place The interior is dated and not very clean The moment we walked in it smelled like a musty old attic instead of a thriving clean pizzaria. People who walked in after us got their food before us so needless to say our server was slow. We didn't get any silverware. She asked me for a refill on my diet coke but both times never asked my wife nor did she offer us any water throughout our meal. We ordered a chicken bravo pizza asked for light sauce and easy on the garlic with jalapeños. The pizza eventually arrived - heavy red sauce a ton of garlic - and yay they got the jalapeños part. The crust was over done and burnt on the bottom - both of us tore up the roof of our mouths to top it off the garlic was the size of the pieces of chicken that were on the pizza - not cool! There was barely any chicken. The cost for a dirty old smelly place, mediocre medium pizza, two diet cokes and lousy service - $32! Yeah No Thank You! I'd rather eat the chicken pizza from Pizza Hut then come back here again. This was a time we felt we shouldn't have trusted the yelp reviews.

I've always been told, "secrets in the sauce" there is nothing distinctive or good about their tomato sauce. I am a big fan of customer service and their waitresses are always on point and ALWAYS provide excellent service. I'm just not a big fan of the pizza.

Neighbors alway eat here. Gave me a slice. Very Very good. Ordered my own chicken and bacon. Asked if they could basically garlic bread the crust. (Season Crust with Garlic seasonings). They misunderstood and charged me for an extra topping of Garlic and literally put real garlic all over my pizza. It was disgusting and no one in the family would eat it. Also tried the spaghetti and Meatballs. That was pretty good. They topped that with meat sauce. Very misleading name for the sauce which didn't really taste like it had any meat in it. But overall the dish was satisfying. I still go here but never ordered Garlic again.!

  • Jona C.

I always come here for their pizzas and just recently had their half order of spaghetti and meatballs and raviolis. Great taste, the perfect amount of sauce and enough to soak their garlic bread in it also. The lasagna was also very good, very moist, cheesy and good enough that I'm sure I'll be ordering this again the next time I come here. This would define an authentic home cooked meal of my mother's if she were Italian.

  • Toni W.

While I have enjoyed their pizza, I am less thrilled with the service. I called in an order last week for cheese ravioli in a marinara sauce. When I drove cross town and got home, the order turned out to be meat ravioli. I called and they replaced it, but no apology was offered for the mistake or for the need to drive cross town a second time to get the right meal. A lack of concern for customers' comfort is also evident in the lack of waiting space to pick up orders, with often very long waits and very long lines, forcing waiting patrons to crowd and elbow those trying to enjoy a meal inside and making those waiting feel unwanted.

The pizza is not bad, actually very rich it's an American pizza. It has nothing to do with an Italian, Napolitan authentic pizza: different dough, the margherita with sliced tomatoes and tons of garlic? Not really...

I got pizza here a few times as well as my employer orders pizza here and it was ok, but after today me or my employer on mare island will never order here again. I came in after work to pick up an order of chicken tender appetizer to go with 2 sodas. 12$ and some change, ok no problem. Open my container and had 3 SMALL ass tenders wrapped in foil, I wish yelp would let us upload pics because I sure the hell would. 3 soggy ass 3 inch tenders for 6.99. Gtfoh! And its some previous frozen bullshit. Ive never wrote a review but there a thin line when your just slapping your customers in the face with some bullshit like that. There pizza is cool dont get me wrong but after that lasting impression, they lost a few customers. Also throwing a whole bunch of cheese on your food dont make it quality Italian neither!

When an 18 inch pizza with two toppings costs $28 I expect it to be DELICIOUS! It wasn't. What little sauce was on the pizza was very bland. Crust was flavorless, but a decent texture. A $10 Costco pizza blows Napoli's pizza out of the water!

Torn about the rating for our recent visit... 3 stars for customer service.. They weren't busy when our party of 2 arrived, prompty greeted by a spunky waitress (De Etta). She was friendly, attentive and pleasant... It was also fun to sit and watch them make the pizzas right in front of us..you can tell Anthiny has been doing this for years. 2 stars for the food.. We ordered a pizza with no mushrooms (they make the pizza soggy) it arrived with mushrooms. Yep, our pizza was soggy and just wasn't very tasty. We also ordered the penne with meat sauce and meatballs.. Pasta wasn't drained, the water covered the bottom of the plate and if there was meat in the sauce I never saw or tasted it.. Meatballs tasted old. Matter of fact, server based it up and it went into the trash when we got home.. I always post after trying new places. When I went to write this post I noticed that Anthony frequently acknowledges them, which I think is cool and is a testament to their customer service!

Hands down the best pizza in Vallejo and it's not even close. The wife and I stopped by after a long work week and decided to try their Alfredo sauce pasta and the "Tonys special" pizza. The Alfredo pasta was pretty good, not great and a little watery for my taste but the flavors where on point and the bacon didn't overpower the dish. The pasta itself was perfectly cooked and that may not seem like a big deal but you'd be surprised how many big named corporate pasta joints get that little detail wrong. The pizza was outstanding! The crust was nice and crispy, the cheese was just the right amount and the sausage and pepperoni did not disappoint. I'll definitely be coming by more often. Keep up the good work guys!

Best. Pizza. In. Town. No question about it, this establishment is a local favorite. Pizza not your thing? Try the minestrone, delicious and hearty it warms you to the soul.

I messed up. I strayed from Napoli and I got what I deserved. I tried a newer Italian spot in town and got terrible service. When I left there disappointed, I did what I should have done in the beginning. I drove over to Napoli and got the excellent service and great food that I wanted. I've been here 20+ times and I've never been disappointed. These guys really have it together and I would recommend them to anyone.

This place is special to me. My mom would bring me here and tell me stories about when her and my dad would eat here as young adults. That made the building special to me...but the actual product...the amazing pizza that comes from this place is perfect every time without fail. The crust is a perfect thickness...the sauce tastes freshly made each and every time I order anything from here. Until recently the owner himself would be present to make his amazing pizza pies (he's retired now) but his sons have done an amazing job in making sure the flavors that make this place so great have stayed consistent. It's a cozy little place that just satisfies the need for a great pizza that never disappoints. I highly recommend it! Start with a house salad (mmm salami included) with a awesome italian dressing followed by a pizza of your choosing. I'm a pepperoni n pineapple kind of girl and mom was sausage and bell peppers...both always hit the spot!

Rainy dark drive home. Logical move was to pick up pizza at Napoli as I have done over the past ten years. I have never wavered on the pizza ingredient order...until today. Yes it is good to venture out. LOVED the pizza and the show of watching the guys making the pizzas as I waited. Do you want great sauce and real ingredients...then this is the place.

Love the healthy pizza (with added jalapenos)! So yummy and not bad price-wise. My boyfriend and I got a half order of cheese ravioli last time we were there and we thought the portion was maybe a little small (we got 4 ravioli). The garlic bread that came with it was the BOMB, though. There's also a check-in special where you get a local 12 oz. brew for $2.

Not that great anymore. Soupy pizza, eat with a spoon. Cheaper ingredients, not enough gluten in dough to make it stiff.

From what I could tell we came on a "off night." (Something about the new computer systems) 2 stars for ease of parking 1 star for the neighborhood (super rough neighborhood, don't leave valuables in car) 0 stars for service. *We waited over 35 minutes for drinks, (2 waters & 2 drinks) There was only one waitress for the whole restaurant!?? 5 stars for the quality of the pizza. Handmade right there on the counter when you walk in. 4 stars for the "owners favorite" lasagna 2 stars for all the other food we tried. ( Garlic bread, fettuccine with chicken, chicken strips-- it was "eh") Overall, we enjoyed dinner. Thanks for the reccmendation, fellow Yelpers!

Dinner with family. Food was very good. The meat ravioli was better than the cheese ravioli. The Caesar Salad was excellent. The pizza was great a half and half fresco and combo. It would be a 5 star except for how busy the place was which led to wait staff not having enough time to manage there tables. I don't think I have ever been to this place for a dinner service when there wasn't a wait. Definitely call ahead and put your name on the wait list. If there ever was a place that needed to expand their number of seats...this one is it!

If you go here, get the pizza! The rest of the menu is a little "Meh," but the pizza is tops. They even have one of the best gluten free crusts I've ever had. Some GF crusts are soggy and taste like wet cardboard, but not this one. The staff is always friendly.

This place is just all around good. Good service and great food. I didn't give five stars because it's in a sketchy neighborhood.

Great little neighborhood pizza place. Service is great, staff friendly, pizzas delicious. Free wifi. They are always packed, so even if you call in ahead be ready to wait a couple minutes. (On Friday evenings I'd recommend ordering to go otherwise you will have at least an hour wait). Gluten free crusts are a nice touch but on the sweeter side (from the rice flour?). Will always go back to this place when I'm in town.

I love love love this place! One of Vallejo's little gems for sure. I can't believe I didn't try this place sooner. The customer service is hit or miss I agree, but the pizza is delicious and very good quality. You won't be disappointed!

Great place in a town that is starving for good local restaurants. I've been here twice now and both times I enjoyed the local old school ambiance and good food. Artisan level pizza this is not, but it doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is: classic mom-and-pop pizza. The service is great too.

  • Josh G.

My favorite pizza place ever. Crust: light inside, crispy outside, but not crackery. Sauce: thick and flavorful, with a little kick. Cheese: COPIOUS. :) Toppings: never had a bad one yet. This pizza is the best pizza I have ever had. Period.

My fiancé and I absolutely love Italian food/pizza. After being extremely disappointed with the pizza-chain restaurants (RoundTable, Pizza Guys, Mountain Mikes) because of their lack of quality, we decided to try something different. We found Napoli's pizza on google and said "what the heck, we'll give them a try." By far, the best pizza we've ever had! GREAT/DELICIOUS, QUALITY INGREDIENTS! We normally spend a significant amount on pizza every single time and end up being sorely disappointed. I guarantee, this time around was WORTH EVERY SINGLE PENNY! You've just gained a new loyal customer! Thanks Napoli's!

They make the best pizza in the area. Not at all greasy and super flavorful. It's also nice that they generally have yelp coupons available.

I had found this on yelp as closest to me and didn't check the menu first. Was disappointed they didnt sell pizza by the slice but my server suggested I get the 6" pizza sandwich and customize the toppings. I ordered it with mushrooms, black olives & jalapeño instead of pepperoni & sausage. . It was delicious. A bit heavy on the pizza sauce for me but good nonetheless.

Tucked away in downtown Vallejo, this little home of Italian goodness was worth the extra effort from the freeway. You have to drive through a sketchy part of town, but once you arrive there's plenty of friendly smiles to greet your party. We were starving after a day at Muir Beach and the delicious comfort food was just what the doc ordered. In my zeal to get some grub ordered, I almost interrupted the friendly waitress trying to take our drink orders . Seeing the Mezza Luna on the appetizer list, I hurriedly placed an order. Those little half-moon shaped goodies were scrumptious. You know how everything just tastes divine when you're famished? This was one of those times. Light, crispy dough (I suspect it may be their pizza dough, though it doesn't specify on the menu), filled to capacity with smoked mozzarella and sun-dried tomatoes. We went with the savory meat sauce for dipping, but you can also choose ranch or marinara. I could have kissed the girl when she brought out our soup and salad with the appetizer. My minestrone was rich and obviously homemade. I could have done with smaller chunks of vegies, but it's a very minor quibble. The house salad came with a dressing that struck me as a cross between French and thousand island. A little too sweet for my taste, but the ingredients were crispy and fresh. When the BF ordered lasagna, I knew I'd regret it if I got something else. Good decision as it was a thing of beauty. Served in individual casserole dishes, it was still bubbling slightly from the oven. Hard to resist diving into that melting cheese and savory sauce to let it cool. Burned my tongue more than once. We ordered a couple of slices of raspberry cheesecake to go. It was a little too dense for me, but the BF was happy. My piece became his breakfast dessert the next day. The atmosphere reminded me so much of pizza places I visited as a kid. The sound of a tabletop PacMan game was even chirping in the background. There's large booths and expandable tables. The guys in the open-air kitchen watch over everything with proud, friendly smiles. Fun spot!

From the outside of the building you would never guess the splendor of the food and service awaiting you inside. The waitress was very welcoming and friendly and we were well tended to. We started off with the wedge salad but they were out of iceberg lettuce and asked if would mind romaine- that was fine with us and the salad was beyond amazing. The bleu cheese drawing is house made and it was out of this world! Not to mention the amazing bacon topping. We also had ordered the chicken tender appetizer which was hand breaded and lightly fried. So moist and tender. The pizza reminded me of east coast pizza (a hard to find taste on the west coast), the meatball sandwich was amazing as was the fettuccine Alfredo!!!! We would definitely give this place a 5 star rating!!!! We were I town to go to discovery kingdom and this place was super close by!! Perfect!!!!

Wedge Salad. Da Bomb! Family owned business, it rocks. Great fresh food, you can't beat that on top of serving local beer and wine. Staff is informed and educated well on the product and production. Great service and atmosphere.

Love to pick-up food after calling in my order. Usually I arrive just before my food is done and enjoy watching them prepare the pizzas for the oven. It's a quaint little place that seems to always be busy, busy, busy! (When taking to go "call in" orders, you may get immersed in bags, everything is bagged...call me "San Francisco", but I slightly cringe at an over usage of brown paper bags. However put them to use shortly afterwards.) While I have eaten Napoli's at the restaurant it's just fun taking it home to enjoy in the peace of your home. Service in house is wonderfully pleasant, straight to the point, and fast! Strictly recommend the house salad (forgive me I always forget the name) but kidney beans, salami, and what taste like the best made in-house dressing I've ever had in my life! Yes LIFE! Truly guilty of getting extra ranch to dip the pizza in. Pizza really doesn't need it, but my mouth wants it! Whether you choose a veggie or a meat lovers you just can't go wrong. The crust is of the most perfect texture and edible right down to the last bite. *dips crust into ranch* Recently I checked on the menu because I was seeing some reviews on items I've never tried. To my surprise they even update their menu! So not only do I have my usual salad to look forward to, but more options! What person do you know that doesn't like change and options? The part where I tell you that I have a hard time finding great pizza joints like I loved while living in Massachusetts...this place is holding it down in the pizza world. Continue to do what you do in the city of Vallejo and may everyone get lost in the yummiest of options! Not to mention they have expanded and have locations in other city's. Heck yes!

So my prior review was about the pizza and while I still prefer east coast thin crust pizza or big Chicago deep dish, this place is really a joy and fun - 5 star staff, awesome kitschy and friendly atmosphere, Pac Man!, fresh food and great people running the place. The pizza crust is delish. I don't care for the sauce on the pizza (thought it's fab on the calzone) which probably gets to the heart of my lack of enthusiasm... But the calzone rocks. Anthony, yep, I gave you another chance. I had to come back since I was the numbskull who left her credit card there. Doh!!! But you won a new fan. I give 5 stars to server and you for keeping my card safe. Honesty and integrity...10 stars there!

Fantastic pizza. I had their calzone, which was $10 and stuffed with goodness. Perfectly baked and not too much dough. It reheated well the next day too. Incredibly friendly server, who was right on target with his service. You can watch them make their pizzas in the tiny kitchen, so if they're busy, be prepared to wait. They also offer gift certificates.

Our waitress was awesome! Food was amazing! Great ingredients and somewhat reasonable prices.. Busy on the inside which is great to see! We took leftovers home and couldn't wait to finish them.. The house made Alfredo sauce is to die for.. Rich, creamy and great on pizza!

Best pizza in the area, possibly Northern California. I've been eating here for 30 plus years and everything is amazing. The people are friendly, the food is homemade and delicious. Do yourself a favor and eat in...you won't want to wait til you get home to devour the deliciousness, plus they have a table top Ms. Pacman game that helps pass the time until your food comes. My favorite pizza is the Healthy Pizza and the Super no pepperoni, I know what you're thinking but I am allergic to pepperoni, so that option is out. I am also a big fan of their garden salad, simple and just perfect to have with a pizza.

I ordered the Minestrone soup, garlic bread w/ cheese and lasagne. It was everything I wanted. It reminded me of the special Italian dinners my family and I went to when I was a child. This has been nearly impossible to find again until tonight. I couldn't be happier. The soup was delicious, the bread addicting and the lasagne filling and cheesy. This is old school food. It's not fancy or pretentious. It is just good! This will now be my go to for Italian and I can't wait to try the pizza. (Extra points for gluten free options!)

Great place!! Food is always an A+ !! When my Fiance and I are in the mood for quality pizza (we are a lot) we go out of our way and come here! The pizza is always so delicous!! We have also tried the lasagna, it was so good. The food is always made so fresh and is cooked right when you order. The wait to get your food is usually like 30 minutes, I think its worth it though. They get really busy on the weekends and only have 2 waitresses... thats the only down side. My fiance and I had to wait like 10 minutes for one of the waitresses to simply clean our table. Other than that this place is awesome! We will be coming here for days to come!!

I've been coming here since before I could even talk and walk. It's the original and easily one of the best pizza joints in the whole Bay Area. I always go for pizza, usually margherita, but I know plenty who have had their pastas and loved them. Their crust is amazing, my absolute favorite. I recommend coming in and eating here, can't leave without a game on the old school Pac Man game!!!

  • Maria L.

I always order the meatball sandwich and the Italian wedge salad. The food is super good! The pizza is very good too! The only reason they don't get 5 stars from me is because they often get my order wrong, but the food is so good, I have to keep going. Also, the cashier girls aren't very friendly. But the food is so good you have to overlook customer service.

This is my first time having this pizza but i thought the sauce was a little to much they put in so much sauce in it. But over all they are all smiling and laughing and very nice. Recommend it to people. Wish they be closer in sacremento.

I love Napolis I have been going to this family owned pizzeria for years. The pizza is made fresh and you can watch them tossing the dough and putting together the pizza right in front of you. The service is always great, staff are friendly and always seem to be enjoying themselves. Napolis is always packed people waiting out the door to get a seat at times. I have had the pizzas as well as the house made raviolis both very delicious and the serving size of the raviolis is generous. I will continue to support them and always recommend them to everyone who comes to town.

Very simply put- pizza the way it's supposed to be! This place has been a staple in Vallejo for years! I love the pizza. I love the pasta (though the portions are kinda small). I love the salad. I've never had a bad experience here. Worth the drive and worth the wait...

Yummy pizza! We got a half Tony's Special and half healthy pizza, the dough was chewy and the pizza wasn't excessively oily like most. The toppings look like they might not be cooked but the onions were really sweet! Both toppings were good but I think I enjoyed the healthy pizza better. We got an XL pizza for the 4 of us and it was a good size, just slightly too much.

Vallejo's very best pizza, hands down. No ifs, ands, or buts (but you'll likely get a big butt if you eat here too often, though I wouldn't blame you.) This pizza joint has been in Vallejo ever since I was on the formula and wayyy before that as well. They've been around since 1956, apparently. That means they were around since Vallejo was in it's heyday. Can you imagine that? VALLEJO in it's heyday? Nonetheless, these guys probably have one of the most longest and reliable reps in Vallejo. That's not without reason either. They serve up the best pie in town. Ingredients are fresh and they have one of the tastiest doughs I've tasted. This isn't just some commercial Dominos or (even worse) Little Caesars either. They actually put time and love into their pizza-making efforts. The result is pizza that is pretty unforgettable. I usually like pepperoni and mushroom, but I'm always a sucker for a slice of Hawaiian also. The service? Fast and friendly. Whether it's take-out or dining it, your food always comes out in a very reasonable amount of time. Orders and serving is always done with a smile as well. This makes for an all around awesome dining experience. Can't beat it. I love Napoli! I'm glad that Vallejo has a joint like this. Old school and not going anywhere any time soon.

This place has great pizza and the owner is the sweetest lady ever! Love going to this place! They are a little pricy but they are worth it! I did however try the prego pizza when I was pregnant and it didn't work! Lol however I still highly recommend getting it anyway if nothing els you will have one great tasting pizza. Pregnant or not! The pregnant pizza can also be ordered as any pizza on the menu.

This review has most definitely been long overdue. Well what is there to say about Napoli's Pizzeria?!? That it is THE BEST PIZZA EVER!!! My sister and I grew up eating Napoli's and playing Pacman until we ran out of quarters. Every time I stop in with my family or a group of friends I get that feeling of nostalgia. We've been ordering the #11 since I can remember, also known as "The Original" (Mushrooms, olives, pepperoni, salami, and sausage). They never skimp on the toppings or the sauce. The crust is always perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Seriously, the dough has to be filled with some magical fairy goodness or something. It's just that good. I've been on this planet for 20 something years now and have not found or tasted a better pizza. Obviously, Napoli's is one of my childhood favorites and continues to be until this day. If you haven't tried it then what are you doing with your life?! You should head over there like right now and grab a pie... You won't be disappointed. Get pizza wasted; You will leave feeling happy and satisfied!!!

My wife and I have been coming here for years. I can not recommend this place highly enough! If you're looking for something to try, I like the Tony's Special as well as the Margherita pizzas. We often get a half & half of the two! Friendly people and great service as well. Give them a try! You won't be disappointed.

There aren't very many "must have, oh my god I have to drive out of my way to eat here" places in Vallejo but this place certainly is one of the few gems in Vallejo where it does apply. Napoli's has a unique and delicious crust that is so buttery and tasty that its unlike any other pizza I've tried. The vegetables and meat that they use are always top quality and each pizza is hand tossed. This place is family owned and truly treat their customers like family. Their calzones are really delicious too. If you'd like a really family style, "mom and pop" pizza, definitely try this place. This is the only place where I feel their pizza is better as leftovers too. Love this place and if I wasn't from Vallejo, would definitely drive out of my way to come here.

  • Samantha H.

I've never eaten here but the staff has always been nice on pick up. I've also never have anything but the pizza. That actually says a lot since I never enjoyed pizza until Napoli's! Pick-up has never been more than 20 minutes. It's always pipping hot. The neighborhood is not the best but its okay (probably because it's where I live. lol). The quality is awesome and it is a little pricey but again...I enjoy it. All mozzarella cheese on an awesome crust? What's not to love? One day, I hope to have time to sit and eat with the BF here and write a proper review for everything! Until then - 5 stars :)

Great pizzeria with an old school vibe in the vallejo area. We ordered an XL pizza for the four of us which filled us up nicely. We decided to get our pizza split in half between a healthy pizza and tony's special. The healthy pizza came with garlic, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, olive oil and oregano. The tony's special consists of pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and onions. Ingredients are fresh and the crust was nice and flaky. Not the cheapest pizza around but the food quality more than makes up for it.

Delicious minestrone soup, lovely plump ravioli, fabulous calzone! Everything made fresh & seasoned well! Our waitress was D'Etta (sp?) -- a testimony to the fact that great service is an art; it should never be taken for granted and is always appreciated!

We visited Napoli after reading only a couple of the hundreds of fabulous reviews. We had a long and tiring day at Six Flags and were in need of real and delicious food...Napoli it was! We arrived to a cozy and homey place, greeted by several people with smiles even at 9pm. Big points already! We had a wonderful server who was happy to answer questions and make recommendations. I had the Big Vinny Calzone (sliced meatballs and mushrooms) and my sweetie had the Megazone (all meat). They were both very hot and cheesy, and they had a perfect crust too. My nephew had the Pizza Sandwich and added sausage patties to it...omg it was huge and totally cheesy! He has a big appetite and he was FULL.... I understand there are a couple locations, so if I find myself near another in the future.....Napoli Pizzeria it is!

Probably the best pizza place this side of the bay! But definitely Vallejo/American Canyon!!! The choices are much in Am Can or Vallejo, but of the choices this is the best. Their pizza are great and the Vallejo store is classic pizza joint, with Ms. Pacman machine included! We usually get the Margherita Pizza which is great, but even the New York style cheeze pizza is great. We've also tried the Mediterranean Pizza, which might be our new favorite, but we have a few more to try especially with "no meat" Fridays still upon us! Great family owned business that's a classic spot in Vallejo, no doubt.

  • Shawn R.

An excellent family run pizza spot. When you walk in the aromas of pizza and cheese garlic bread hit you over the head in the best of ways. Its small and cozy with vinyl booths and a circa 1982 table top Miss Pacman in the middle of the dinning area. I have the high score 17,850. If your in the area this is a sure win and good for a family pizza night. The neighborhood looks to be in transition but these types of family run establishments tend to weather those storms. They have been at this location for over 40 years.

Stopped in for dinner on day one of vacation. The family was hungry for pizza. The pepperoni pizza was absolutely delicious. We were disappointed that they did not have an antipasto salad, but we opted for the caesar salad and it was good. We were greeted by the owner within a few seconds after entering the restaurant and and immediately led to a booth to be seated. We were greeted by our waitress a moment later. We had wonderful service. Between the food and service, we would definitely return.

I travel to this area every few months, and when I do, I ALWAYS make my way over to Napoli's for their combo pizza. I've had as good, but never better!! It rivals some in NYC and Italy.

Great service. We had a large group and they actually wrote separate checks. I had the lasagne, which was pretty good, but not spectacular. The pizza looked really good. The restaurant is located in a older part of Vallejo and is a neighborhood eatery. Reservations strongly recommended for a large group.

Best hole in the wall pizza hands down! been in the same location for generations, owned by the same family. the toppings are phresh, the beer is cold, and they have (gasp) an original ms. pacman video game! in all honesty, i am not a fan of pizza. but i dont consider napolis a "pizza joint." no, its much more than that. if you don't believe me, go order the tony's combo. if youre really more of a pasta lover, they got you covered. i personally enjoy the tortellini. word of warning - the restaurant gets crowded and real estate is scarce on the weekend evenings. also the location is a bit, uh, undesireable. but on the bright side if you like your pizza with a side of hooker it's a one-stop-shop.

Our Daughter turned us on to this great little restaurant while she was house shopping in Vallejo. The staff at Napoli is incredibly helpful and friendly. The pasta menu is good and the pizza is exceptional!

My father who art in New York, hollowed be thy thin crust pizza. I have sinned with Napoli's thick crust pizza. Yes, I confess, but I don't feel an ounce of guilt. All the ingredients are simple and fresh. The handmade crust itself is to die for: thin in the middle and thicker around the edge. This provides a nice balance between crisp and chewy. The house-made sauce, which we also had the chance to taste on its own for the kids' pasta, is nicely seasoned to make the natural flavors shine through. Cheese laid on thick and gooey. Surveying some of the other tables, all the toppings including pepperoni, olives and mushrooms were all of high quality, simple and fresh. The place is really basic but has clearly been around for many years as a fixture of the neighborhood. Service was efficient but friendly. When we asked for boxes for left overs, our waitress not only brought us what needed but also packed everything up lickety-split.

Delicious pizza and sandwiches!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YUP AND YUP. I dont live here but when i'm in town or am driving thru to napa, i'm always tempted to call and pick-up a pizza!!!!!!!!!

Again the best pizza hands down but they have added some new menu items. Brought the family in for pizza last week and tried the new BBQ Chicken...ABSOLUTELY DELISH! This place is never a let down!

Very friendly service. My only complaint is that the crust gets kinda soggy towards the middle of the pizza pie.

Well, I must take back part of my review. Why? Because within days of my last review Napoli introduced a new menu that includes some rather trendy, gourmet-sounding pizzas and pastas, such as the Mediterranean, BBQ Chicken, Pizza Bianca. I can't wait to give them a try. I remain five stars because that was my experience at my last visit. Yummmmm....

I have been going to this pizza place since I was a little kid. LOVE the pizza here. Authentic and sooooo good. The crust is cooked to perfection and the toppings ...wow...I could go for a couple of their combo slices right now actually. The father, sons and nephews run the place. I don't see the father in there as much as I used to. But every once in awhile, I'll see him on a Friday night behind the counter twirling pizza dough, or spreading mounds of mozzarella over red tomato sauce. The restaurant itself is kind of a throwback to something out of the 80s. Booth style seats and a small Pac man arcade table when you first walk through the door. Still only costs a quarter to play - last time I checked anyways. Though it might be 50 cents now too. Order a combo and a pitcher of root beer or orange soda. Doesn't get much better than that. They have a second location in Benicia run by one of the sons (I think the youngest son) and another one in Vacaville. I still think the one on Tennessee Street in Vallejo is the best! The Benicia one is okay. The crust is not always on point for me though. Never tried the Vacaville one, so don't know. If you've never been - totally missing out. Also, I just started liking their ravioli in the last two years. Pretty basic meat ravioli. I like it though. Try it out if you haven't yet.

I'm happy not to live in Vallejo anymore but I love to stop here with family on my way through town and remember my childhood. One of my earliest memories is playing Pac-Man at their sit down game table.

Great pizza + Nice staff = returning customer. I just moved up to Vallejo from SF and we all know it's a crap shoot looking for decent food in a new town. Thankfully, this place is relatively close, and maybe it's better they don't deliver - i'd be 500+ lbs by now... But you should keep that in mind, they don't deliver. That's the only reason they don't get the 5th star. Nice welcome to the area.

Went here a month ago and found the place warm (ovens, duh) and inviting ^_^ Our pizzas took a little longer than other places to make, but the quality was second to none! I was more surprised to find this gem here in Vallejo as I've only been here a short while and most of the places that I've been to have been run down or poor quality. This place I would definitely recommend!

Customer since 1998, Sad to say but Jr. Guerra has always had a negative look and not pleasing when first entering the establishment. Ne needs to work on his facial expression. He always looks like he hates his job and is miserable.

I don't care if I am "Drinking the Kool-Aid" Napoli's pizza is what I want and expect from pizza. A fluffy, chewy crust full of flavor. Ample toppings, but with the structural integrity to hold all of it without going limp (that's what she said). Flavor and supreme balance is found here at Napoli's and I appreciate it. You have to love the ambiance found here as well. The dark, wooden tables, the pleather booths and the sparsely decorated walls. This place exudes Pizza Parlor Perfection (Yes, I'm popping P's). And I can't forget to mention the vintage Ms. Pac-Man table game in the seating area. Must try the Margherita Pizza! Especially if you are vegetarian! I have been a happy Napoli's customer for over twenty years and intend to be one for the next twenty and more.

I've never eaten inside before but the pick-up pizza is amazing. Myself and the family got too busy and time constrained to make a meal the other night. Solution? Napoli! The crust is nice and crunchy on the outside, warm and lovely on the inside. Just like I like it! I would definitely recommend it for pizza (though will warn... it is a bit pricier than your average pizza joint).

The pizza we had was easily comparable to Mozza in LA. We had the MARGHERITA pizza, crispy crust, fresh basil and cheese. Way good food and equally superb service.

yeah the food is good but the waitress forgot to but on the extra cheese other then that the pizza was pipping hot the cheese bread was equally as good but SHE FORGOT THE CHEESE MAN :(

  • Elsie D.

Fresh made pizza is very good but not extraordinary. I see a lot of people order the half spaghetti, half ravioli - I might order that one day but I love the lasagna so much - ricotta, meat, egg, and two other cheeses.

  • Gerald E.

I liked the relaxed feel of the place. It was pretty chill and the music was great too, something everyone can listen to. The pizzas took some time, but that's what you get for ordering good food and it was worth the wait. My friend and I ordered the original and the margherita and both were tasty and I'd go back again. The service was pleasant and the friendliest service I can think of. Another Vallejo treasure.

Had we not found Napoli's, Applebees and Chevy's would have set the precedent for sit down food in Vallejo. A Napa Valley Native, I can tell you, this pizza and pasta is joke! Cold beer, amazing pizza, great staff... we'll be back!

We heard about this place from friends who lived in the area. I truly love the family vibe I get from this place. The pizza and CHEESE BREAD (amaaaaaaaazing) is piping hot and delicious. You can tell the difference between small operation pizza and a big commerical pizza in its taste and quality. You can see them making the pizzas per order. Their customer service is impeccable. We showed the cashier our check in and got free cheese bread. You must try it! So glad to have found an awesome establishment like this in Vallejo!

Winner Winner pizza dinner! The bf grew up eating here. Us Rancho folk grew up on Straw Hat and Pizza Hut. So we come here at least once every other month. The pies here are always good; fresh toppings/crust is crunchy on the outside chewy on the inside, oowy goowey cheesy and always piping hot out of the oven. Kinda bumbed out they don't serve wings but the salad, pizza and beer will fill you up plenty. We split a small and still had three slices left to take home. I get a kick out of the baby beer pitchers... Just freeze that instead and save the glass for water. Service is friendly...I think they checked on us at least five times. This place is a real Vallejo institution and I hope it doesn't go anywhere any time soon. The area can be a bit sketchy..but what area in the V isn't?

  • Ryan S.

I have been coming here since I was young and it has ALWAYS been the same old fashioned pizza joint and I still love to eat there a few times a month and if you go I suggest the super combo. I would rank it higher but they're pizza sauce does not taste that fresh to me, it taste like paste out of the can with some added spices (especially oregano) and the dough is boring. Other than that it is a reliable old fashioned pizza joint that has been the best in Vallejo since it opened decades ago.

Just had my son's 1st Birthday here with around 25-30 guest (mostly adults). I was a bit worried about the space at first but it work out great and everyone was comfortable. They even let me decorate the place. The staff was awesome. They were very accommodating to all our needs and always asking if we needed anything else. Each table got to order their own pizza and it all came out in a timely manner. The pizza's was sooo AMAZING. Everyone, including the out of towners thought so as well.

Always great pizza. The crust is the best there is!!!! They truly are the BEST IN SONOMA COUNTY!! (they were voted best) Don't be shy about eating something other than the pizza. The ravioli are wonderful. Hand made with MEAT!!!! Not just cheese. Love them. The Lasagna is different than I'm used to, but very good and tasty!!

Excellent pizza with super friendly service in this down-to-earth neighborhood pizza place that has been around since 1968. Pizza crust is heavenly - would be great by itself as bread. Dough must be freshly made and hand tossed. The crust is thick and nicely chewy on the side but thin and crisp in the middle of the pizza. We had the Tony's special - pepperoni, mushroom, onions, sausage - and really liked it. Cheese was rich and gooey. Pizza came straight out of the oven still steaming on a hot platter. The medium pizza was $15.50 and it was huge for 2 people. Only slight gripes were that they could have added a bit more sauce and ingredients to make it even better. Service was fantastic and friendly as the waitress greeted us warmly, refilled our drinks many times, and asked how we were doing - was a bit surprised since I didn't expect such attentive service at a low key neighborhood place. The place itself is pretty old school inside - perhaps it is the same decor and furniture from 1968 when it was first opened. But it works. There's a main dining room with about 10 booths and a side dining/waiting room with 4-5 more booths. This is the place where you bring your family, mom, grandparents, etc for a nice casual neighborhood Italian/pizza dinner in Vallejo. Bottom line: Great pizza with a friendly family pizza parlor feel in Vallejo. For those not from Vallejo, fantastic low-key place for pizza after a tiring day at Six Flags (only about 5-6 miles away).

I havent been to Naps for a while. We went tonight to *still* celebrate my bday. :) Based off of YELPER feedback, for the first time, I tried the Margherita pizza....survey says: PIZA PERFECTO. Friendly, friendly service! The lady who waits the tables is incredible! How does she do it? Talk about professional...I've never seen somebody so "on the ball". She whips around the place like she is riding on Superman's back. She practically reads your mind,...I have never had to ask for anything....she always asks me first. Split the check? No problem...she automatically does it for you without asking. Do her a favor...if it is going to all be on one check...be cordial and let her know up front so she doesn't have go through all that work for nothing. Food is very good. I will be a customer for a long time to come!

Best pizza I've had in Vallejo. Actually, it is the best traditional pizza pie I've had in a long long while. Nice crust, thick along the edges and thin right below the layers of cheesy goodness. Takes about 20 minutes to have the pie baked. Must get half Hawaiian and half Super. Its ahhh amazing!

Only one word can sum up Napoli's.... Yummie !!!!! This place has been in business since I was a wee sprout and been a staple in the family for pizza forever ! It is a family run family owned business that is just great. Pizza is great, the other main dinner dishes are fantastic ! It is smallish so get there early if you plan on being there at dinner time. It fills up fast !

Good old fashioned pizza. This location is the original and the best, but unfortunately they do not deliver. :-( This has been my favorite pizza place in Vallejo since my first stint at Cal Maritime back in 2003. I still go here fairly frequently and recommend that others do to. I have friends who went to Cal Maritime and the only reason they come back to Vallejo is to go to Napoli's.

My family and I have been enjoying Napoli's for as long as I can remember, if you are a Vallejo resident you know that they've been scouring #1 for the best pizza in Solano County for many consecutive years, and it's no wonder, it's the best! Homemade dough, fresh ingredients and friendly staff, not the best neighborhood but not the worst and once inside you don't care... they're house salad (w/ roquefort) is my favorite local salad and their other dishes are amazing too, it's not just about the pizza folks!! I must admit there was one time in probably 50+ visits that I had poor service, but that's it and it wasn't so terrible that it's kept me away.... Mangia bene!!! Mmmmm bellisimo :*

Napoli in Vallejo is a nice little restaurant with very good pizza. I love the super combo with pesto on half and red sauce on the other. Umm Umm Umm! Agree with other Yelper, it's not located in the best neighborhood, but there are far worse areas and the food is very good and worth the drive to the west side of Valleo, near the entrance to Mare Island. They have an "old school" video game of Ms. Pac Man, if I recall correctly. Hadn't seen one of those for about 20 years so that was nostalgic.

I love this place. They are so nice and have the best pizza in Vallejo hands down. What does hands down mean you ask? I don't know but when everyones hands are up theirs are down making some bomb pizza!

Oh man, Napoli's. When I was a kid, this was THE place in Vallejo for pizza. It was always crowded, and a big draw was the guy throwing the pizza dough in the air. The crust is what I've always measured other pizzas by--crispy on the outside with a nice bite. Rich sauce, cheese browned in a few areas by the high heat of the oven.... I'm so happy to read that it's still there and that the pizza is still great. I'm going to have to make an excuse to go back!

I grew up in Vallejo and remember eatting at Napoili's way back in the 60's. Had pizza tonight for the first time in 35 years. It was incredible. The sauce is to die for. Will definately go back.

I'm giving four stars instead of five due to their name. Their pizza is fabulous but the other food I've had there is good but not stellar. Cute place, service is acceptable and friendly all of the staff are pleasant. The pizza is super yummy. Delicious chewy crust that is crunchy on the outside. Luscious sauce and the toppings are great. The other entrees I've tried are raviolis, spaghetti with meatballs and lasagna. All of them WERE good just not remarkable. We go here at least once a week and enjoy a yummy pizza. :)

Tasty, non-chain pizza. Way better than their other location over by Columbus Parkway. This locations uses Blodgett ovens which I think are considered better ovens than what they're using at the other location (don't remember the name).

ok, i'm not a hater cuz grad school has turned me into a resident of Vallejo, but seriously the town doesn't have much to offer in the realm of good eats. Napoli is one of Vallejo's precious gems that is always a good idea. everytime i go i try to order something new, and i am never disappointed. my favs so far are the Healthy Pizza and Margherita Pizza (i'm not even a vegetarian). the cheese bread is also worth the wait. not only is the food delicious, but the service is amazing! every time i go, the waitress (who is always there btw) remembers me and makes pleasant but not overbearing conversation.

I shared the margarita pizza with friends and it was one of the best pizza's I've had in a while. Next time I'm passing through Vallejo to admire the well tended lawns and bustling city life I'll make sure Napoli's is on my long list of things to see.

This pizza is the best pizza in Vallejo. I've been coming here since I was a little girl and have yet to find a fresher pizza within 20 miles. Haven't tried the pasta or anything else yet, but I have no doubt the quality is just as good :)

After visiting Vallejo over the years, and ordering Pizza Hut, I am surprised my sister only recently recommended this place. The pizza is tasty, fresh ingredients, and the crust is just right. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for east coast style pizza in Vallejo. The space is not great, it has a run down feel to it, so I suggest taking your pie to go.

I don't really like pizza. My son and husband love pizza. So if they are going to make me eat some then I insist it be Napoli's (or Zachary's). Napoli's is greasy and good. Seems like the owner is always there cooking or taking orders. We don't eat there often but usually take home. SLices are big. Toppings generous. Spaces for large parties are limited so plan ahead. Please don't bother with the dinners they are disappointing and kinda skimpy. DO get a salad! It's so good with all the fixins plus salami!

This review is only for the vegetarian pizza here. And the service. I dined here alone one night, and the place struck me as a mom-and-pop shop. i kind of liked that. the waitress was attentive, maybe to a fault. i actually felt like she was trying to boot me out of there. hello?! i'm ONE person, studying while eating my pizza and drinking my beer. there are plenty of open tables you can seat other customers. can't you leave me alone?! jesus christ. i thought mom-and-pop shops were supposed to have good service?! the waitress made me feel totally unwelcome. the other waitress at this establishment was really friendly and nice. i wish i had her as my waitress instead this mean one! grrr. but anyway. onto the important stuff: the food. the toppings on the vegetarian pizza were just normal, no bells and whistles. although i've definitely had better -- especially at pizza my heart -- i think the pizza at napoli is pretty solid for a classic style pizza. but the crust was really good and fluffy! just for the crust, i would come back! but only if i can be guaranteed the other waitress, because mine was a mean ol' dud! i have no idea why i left a good tip.

Definitely the best pizza in the area. I was very surprised the first time I had their pizza, i was not expecting it to be that good. I mean i heard it was good but not that good. Prices are reasonable too and there's plenty of room to sit and eat there. But the last time i ordered to go there they put a topping on the pizza i specifically asked them not to. Just a simple mistake i'm sure, but i should have looked at the pizza before i left. i just never had a problem with it before. I'll just look next time cuz i really like the pizza there.

This is a nice place to eat. They have a variety of great food on top of their pizzas. Again, I just love the blue cheese dressing on the salads. Their soups are also awesome. My husband and I have gone in there to make a meal of a bowl of soup and salad. Wonderful!! The service is great and it is also entertaining to watch the guy behind the counter toss the dough. You can tell by watching him that he has been doing it for a very long time. We look forward to eating there again fand again.

Again, Napoli's Pizza cannot be touched. It was the service I had a problem with. I have been recently informed that service is undergoing a change for the better. I am very pleased to know this as I will be returning to see for myself. Hopefully, things will be more pleasant as I do love a good pizza.

    (4)
  • Jed W.

it's a bit on the expensive side for me but the big crowds they draw every night are proof that charging more won't hurt your business if you offer a quality product. The lady says their sauce is too sweet but I think it's just about perfect and they're generous with their toppings and use good quality ingredients. Service can be a bit slow if you just show up so I always call and order ahead.

  • Michelle W.

The pizza is pretty awesome here! I love the combo one the best! Not a fan of the healthy pizza because in my opinion, pizza isn't healthy to start with so why bother choosing boring toppings?! Prices are very decent. Party of 15 girls, only paid $10.25 each. Lots of leftovers. And leftovers are the best! The place seems dated. The booth seats are kinda sticky... definitely not wearing shorts there the next time! The location is on a pretty quiet street and there's lots of parking.

My favorite place in Vallejo to get a slice and pitcher of beer. The atmosphere is mom pop with the old classic PAC MAN to seal the deal. Smiley face and no attitude and delicious pizza is all you find here. Thanks Napoli's!

  • Angie H.

Just moved here from out of state and asked one of my new neighbors where to get a good pizza here and he very quickly told me Napoli's just around the corner! And he was right! Tried it tonight and was very, very pleased! I only ordered carry out tonight, but will be going back! My daughter saw the Ms. Pacman game and wanted to stay...next time. The staff were very friendly and helpful both on the phone and in person. We had the Original (pepperoni, salami, sausage, mushrooms, black olives) and some garlic cheese bread...I had a hard time stopping myself...I was full, but it still tasted so good! We will definitely be back!

My family has been going to Napoli's for as long as i can remember. It's a small place, and the pizza is the shit. it is a little pricey, but it's worth it. Their salads are huge and filled with meat and veggies. I've never gotten anything other than a salad or a pizza. My boyfriend SWEARS it is just as good as an East Coast pizza. His mom is from New Jersey and they refuse to eat at any other pizza place.

    (5)
  • Jesse O.

Napoli is great, their pizzas are loaded with whatever toppings you want, and the few times I've been here, they've been cooked almost perfectly. However, the flavors are a little complex for a simple pizza. The crust is nice and fluffy and the cheese is thick. Pizzas here are relatively expensive, and not something I would go for unless I'm in a very particular mood.

    (4)
  • E G.

Just okay pizza. Possibly needed salt or something to give it a little kick. Service was slow but maybe they just needed additional waitreses because the ones there wre super busy. I don't think I would go out of my way for this place but would be okay if you live in Vallejo.

    (3)
  • Maricel B.

They have the best pizza in town. Way better than your chain pizza places. My kids love their cheesy bread and the margherita pizza....oh the margherita pizza. If I can, I'd eat a whole pie of margherita pizza. The fresh tomatoes, basil, and garlic. DELICIOUS.

I'll never stop coming here, ever! lol Recently my mother and I brought my sheltered cousin Kayla here for some amazing pizza. We ordered a Large 3 topping pizza - Canadian bacon, mushrooms, and olives, SO GOOD! Every pizza I've gotten here exceeds my expectations and the minestrone is to die for! I want some now! haha I'll have to settle for my tri tip :( We ordered 3 sodas as well and were super stuffed up until our meal at Joy Of Eating the next day at 2! Definitely worth the money, do it!

I have lived in the Vallejo area for many years. Lots of restaurants come and go but Napoli's has been here for a very long time. They have relatives that have started other Napoli restaurants in Benica and Vacaville and I have had the pizza at all three. The original on Tennessee St. is the best, although they are all above average. My husband swears that this is the best Pizza in the world. It is not cheap pizza, by any means. The meat and toppings are always very fresh and the sauce and crust are the best. The restaurant itself is very small and most of their business is takeout but we recently were in the area and ate at the restaurant with some family members. Some had never tried it and were very pleased. The place was packed! If ever you get to Vallejo...this is one pizza you don't want to miss!

My family is a huge fan of Napolis . Probably by California standards this pizza is ok. We have been eating here for 5 or so years. The last 2 times however were a bit off. The crust was much more doughy than I remembered. ( originally from NY this is a cardinal sin). We usually get the healthy pizza and add a couple of extra ingredients, if dining in a couple of bottles of wine.( these have also changed, no longer are there the yummy selections of past) The pastas are good, the people are friendly , I just hope they put their dough on a diet or toss it a bit more to make it that thin delicate crust of old. As Vallejo is a "slim - pickings " for eating, this is still a good choice.

The pizza was amazing! Can't wait to go back. I placed a order to go and sat in the restaurant. I watched the place fill up very quickly. And watching my pizza being prepared was a bonus.

Service was excellent, food was good. I still miss my favorite Metro Pizza in East Sacramento. Unfortunately the Metro owner decided to reopen as a "yuck" Strings...uuuueewww! Did you hear me, east sacramento people? Napoli's is worth going too. They won't waste your time or embarrass you in front of your friends. I guess the owner est. this place in 1968 and is the 2006 Best pizza place for Solano county. Great Job Guys and Gals at Napoli's. Two thumbs up.

I came here when I was visiting my brother at the maritime academy. This was pretty close so we decided to give it a shot since other Yelpers seemed ti like it. I ordered the Mega which was very similar to the Prego at Skippolini's in Concord (that's a good thing). Service was very extremely friendly, and the price reasonable. It's old inside, but very clean. I will be coming back.

Napoli's is Vallejo's premier pizzeria. Although they serve a host of other Italian dishes, the pizza is their trademark. They have a variety of pizza's for all your cravings and have beer on tap and bottled along with a limited selection of wine waiting to be uncorked. I haven't tried their other dishes so I can comment. A pretty historic place for Vallejo with a great word of mouth following. The booths are pretty well maintained for the age of the place but that all disappears when your enjoying their good food and good times. Hours are great, parking is decent and they even have Ms. Pacman right when you enter. This is a must visit eatery if your in Vallejo, CA.

I have been here some years ago..... but haven't been for a long time. All the GREAT Reviews encouraged me to return this evening. Still Remember many faces behind the counter!! What a mistake for me not to come here more often.. My god... This cute place has it's raises the bar beyond anything in Vallejo! Pizza wonderful.. Hot and a little crispy with tasty toppings... DA BEST! Chrystal ,our server did GREAT table service job tonight..... Don't forget to order that little italian salad with the Homade Italian Dressing.. AMAZING!!! Don't miss it folks!!!! WOOOHOOOO!! with this FANTASTIC Italian dressing

Pizza was good. Lots of fresh toppings. Got sausage and mushroom which was all piled in the center and made it so greasy on the bottom then you have this thick outer ring of dry crust. The meat lasagna was hearty but it was bland. Service was friendly but so incredibly slow.

YUM!!! Good...BEST pizza in Vallejo! Haven't tried the other stuff, but don't need to, I can have Napoli's pizza always. The only thing I want to suggest is to have personal size pizza, after two slices of small pizza I'm already full and I don't like leftover pizza:(

  • La C.

My favorite pizza hands down. Everything is so perfect, the crust, the sauce and the cheese. I always get the salami, pepperoni and olives and it so satisfies! I also love the dinner salad's lots of extra stuff like kidney beans and beets are loaded on there. The location is in a rather questionable part of Vallejo so we typically call in our order and pick up. This is a wonderful relic, you will love the pizza here. I have tried the meals and they are just ok, stick to the pizza and you'll be happy.

Best pizza place this side of the bridge. Everything's made fresh and they even make their own ravioli if you're not in a pizza mood. Ah, but the pizza! Thin crust, cooked just right--it's the equal of eating fresh baked bread at a great Italian bakery. (Actually, I think that's the key to the whole thing.) The other ingredients are solid, too, but thoughts of the crust are making me hungry right now. Low prices for Sierra Nevada on tap is another plus. Family run, friendly, and no, they don't deliver -- but it's worth the drive to pick it up.

This is the best in the neighborhood! Napoli's pizza always hits the spot. My favorite pizza is the Super, that comes with sausage, pepperoni, salami, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions and olives. I love this pizza!! The pastas are on hit too.... if you are in the area and are looking for a great pizza? Go to Napoli's!

Very awesome pie. What impressed me the most was the crust and lack of grease. I'm one of those people that always eats the crust, so if it's super crunchy it's all the more worth the wait - and it was! There was no mystery orange oil spill of nasty grease over the meats and I was thrilled with that. Cheese was stringy as it should be. My only problem was that in the big size we got for pick up the center was a little soggy, it might have sat for a few minutes...really not the end of the world for me because the crunchy crust made up for it but that was THE only (super minor) issue I had. Overall - awesome pizza. Will definitely be back :)

We had lunch here two Saturdays ago. They have a parking lot. The restaurant is typical for a family run pizza place, nice booths, open kitchen, and did I mention the Ms Pac Man table game? We walked in and as I started up at the pizza pans stuck above the kitchen to let everyone know how small a small is...a tear came to my eye...it was like being back on the east coast. The waitress finally told us we could sit anywhere - she must have seen the dazed look in my eye. We sat down ordered a medium pizza, salad, and a half ravioli to share as an appetizer. One star because the salad had tons of stuff in it even salami and they gave us garlic bread to go with our half ravioli (and I am not talking about a wedge I am talking several 6*2 slices of garlic bread) One star for the pizza which was great and still good cold the next day Two stars for the ravioli which was prepared perfectly! It was not rubbery but soft and the pasta skin was light and allowed you to taste the filling which was heavenly! It was the best ravioli I have had in a long time! I dreamed about the goodness of this ravioli for the entire week after. I had to go back and have more!! Also our waitress was refilled our drinks almost as she was reading my mind. She was great and added to this wonderful meal. She gets five stars for stellar service!! But I can only give five stars total... It was wonderful. Yet another Vallejo find!

I've been eating here since the early 80's. I've met Antonio (Tony) G, the original owner, his sons and most of the wait staff. They are truly awesome people. The food...can't say enough about the food. I go at least once every couple of weeks when I'm in town. I would compare their pizza to any and all pizza places I've been to (San Francisco, Seattle, Philadelphia, New York) and I'll tell you that this is the place that I'd recommend for pizza in Vallejo. I used to get the Tony's Special and share a bunch of the more meaty ones with all the gang I hang out with. If you're into other italian food, check out the lasagna if they still have it or the ravioli. It comes with bread (I think they put cheese on top). Good "hole in the wall" place and well worth it.

Napoli's is my favorite pizzeria in all of Northern California! I used to hang out here in the 60's when I was in high school. Napoli's made the best pizza then and still makes the best pizza now. I always make it a point to stop by when I'm in Vallejo. The waitress is a sweetheart. This place is the Real Deal !

I give it four stars because it's not Arinells. Arinells = 5 stars. However, Napoli's = 4 solid stars. I miss this place. It is possibly the best thing about living in Vallejo. Order a pizza with red sauce and pesto as a topping. SO GOOD. YUM. They take reservations but you don't need them.

It's been really difficult to find a really good pizza place, especially one that lives up to some of my favorite hole in the wall type joint the city has to offer, but we finally got around to trying this place out after reading about all the good reviews. Well low and behold, I must say it's the best pizza place the hubby and I have tried so far in the east bay (besides a few in Berkley.) We ended up going to eat here a few days ago after I got off of work and everything else seemed to be closed. The place is small and the service was kind of slow for it not being packed, but once the food came out you were looking at one very satisfied (excuse me) two very satisfied bellies indeed. We went for our own little combination of a medium consisting of half chicken and pesto with the red sauce on (plus a point for having pesto) and the other half with peperoni, pineapple and onions. And man was it DELISH, especially the medium think fluffy crust (though I still prefer Nizarios corn meal crust) but it does come in at a very close second in it's category of medium thick crust pizza's.

We ate there last night and it was great. The pizza margarita was served hot and the ingredients were very fresh. The ingredients were all in perfect proportions, not over the top smothered in cheese which I hate, but you could actually taste the basil and sauce. One of the best pizzas I have had this summer, and I spent a month in Italy! The service was good, fast and friendly. We were there early so they weren't busy when we arrived, but by the time we left around 7:00 things were picking up and all the tables were taken. The tab for two people was very reasonable, probably the same you would pay for delivery, but much better food.

the only reason why i gave it 4/5 stars is because the service. it took about 30-40 minutes to get the food. i guess it was busy, but not thaaat busy; it was a tuesday night. the food was delicious though, especially the pizza. my boyfriend & i ordered the super. you can taste the quality. the vegetables were really fresh. it was reeeeally good. we also had the ravioli & that was delicious as well. the prices are affordable; not too low or too high. i would come back sometime :)

A classic pizza joint in Vallejo, great pie and three beers on tap. The 'Healthy' pizza comes with artichokes, sliced tomatoes, garlic, and goes well with the Sierra Nevada (on tap). Careful what you order- a medium is quite large and would serve three plus easily. I have a tendency to overeat here :-)

    (5)
  • Randolph R.

Spongy flavorless dough, canned sauce, poor quality ingredients. If you like Pizza-Hut or Domino's this is the neighborhood version. Of course I prefer to help out local vendors. However, this is not good quality pizza. If you like thin, chewy, crispy and light (NY style) this ain't it. If you like a serious pie with a flaky crust, knife and fork goodness (Chicago style) this ain't it. If you like exotic ingredient, smoky wood fired crust, and light covering of cheese (California Style) this ain't it either. Too bad. It doesn't look like good pizza made with pride is something I am going to find in Vallejo.

Napoli's is a Vallejo staple and there is a reason for that....their food it PHENOMENAL! Try the Salami Pizza, its amazing. Crust is great, sauce is great, ingredients are great...you get the idea. You MUST try their Roquefort dressing, its homemade and absolutely delicious. Usually I dip pizza in ranch, but at Napoli's its all the about the Roquefort. For a few bucks extra, they'll give you a good size tub of it so you have for the week. I highly recommend it!

  • Miguel L.

Intimate, comfy, vibrant, ALIVE Italian restaurant, great pasta, generous portions. I've yet to sample their pizza, though, and I know that's certainly one of their main draws. The ooooold skool PacMan console in the middle of the restaurants is a nice touch. Also, nothing like the friendly service you get, and the great tunes being piped in.

    (4)
  • MJ S.

This place is the bomb! Every time I go I order the "healthy pizza", it's loaded with tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and plenty of sauce and cheese. Their house salad is always fresh, comes with sliced beets, salami, and the rest of the usual suspects. If your in the mood for pizza this place beats them all. On top of the excellent food, the staff is super friendly.

  • Sheena M.

Based on an order of one extra large pizza for take out I give Napoli 4 stars. We ordered a pizza with pesto sauce, chicken, and mushrooms (my husband's regular pizza of choice) and based on taste alone it was a perfect experience. The real parmesan was a nice touch. I hate those strange packets of powder places call parmesan... I could've given Napoli a perfect score if it wasn't so freakin' expensive! $30 for one pizza!!!

  • jennay v.

Verrrrry delicious. I ordered a 12" healthy pizza to go with garlic bread. The crust of the pizza is soft, but gives a crunch. Yummy mozzarella cheese, artichokes, and fresh tomatoes -- a perfect combination. I would definitely order this again. The garlic bread was okay, but the stars go to the pizza. Oh and the 12" is the perfect size for 2 (especially if you like to eat a lot of pizza).

Napoli's got great pizza! Now if you've eaten at North Beach Pizza or Zacchari's Pizza and use that as your yardstick, you'll be disappointed. Still, Napoli offers by far the best pizza in Vallejo. Their competition? Round Table, Domino's, and Papa Murphy's, and Napoli absolutely obliterates the competition... The staff is extremely friendly and they are quite prompt when ordering out... Sadly, they do not deliver and I'm certain we'd probably eat there 3 times more often if they did indeed have a delivery service. Prices are a bit on the high side, but well worth it... If you live in Vallejo, AmCan, or Benicia, Napoli's definitely the place to go!

There is basically NOTHING good 2 eat here! I'm coming from a REAL life in Oakland/Berkeley and San Francisco. BUT when we were told over 10 years ago about Nap's.....OMG!!!!!! I love the staff...the cooks....Anthony is Tony's son and he remembers you and buys my daughter's girl scout cookies. And they have made maybe one mistake and were so upset about that they gave me a free pizza and always ask (a year or so later) if everythings "okay". They know my voice on the phone....I LOVE this food and I LOVE the people DON'T FORGET TO TIP THE COOKS!!!!YAY!!!!!!

  • Addie S.

The pizza is great. The dough is soft yet a baked enough for a bit of crispyness. The pizza sauce is well balanced, big of tang from the tomato, slight hint of sugar and definitely provide enough sauce on the pizza to compliment the toppings. Lasagna is okay and will probably try the ravioli next time. The end of the crust gets hard a bit quickly so this would be the only downside but the rest of the pizza is great. Employees were nice and the service was quick.

Who would have known that one can discover such a fine food establishment in Valley-JO? Mom and pop pizza place hiding in the middle of nowhere. Great Pizza Margherita! They make the pizza in your face so you can be reassured that they are using wholesome ingredients.

  • Ron T.

We'd give this place 1/2 star more if I could.....They really work hard to make you have a nice evening. This is a pizza place that has great pasta and lasagne too!!! The pizza is on the thicker side and not the kind of pizza we are wild about. The toppings are great, taste good, but the doughy pizza is a bit on the heavy side for us. Judging by the good reviews posted, we might be in the minority on that. We also had ravioli, which were great!! We'll definitely go back and try more pasta. Recommended!

My family has gone to this place for generations. With the exception of one or two places on the East Coast, this is the best pizza I have ever had. To me, there are two places to eat in Vallejo: Napoli and Bud's. While not quantity, quality.

What a hidden gem in Vallejo! This is my second time here and it was just as amazing as the first time! From the dough to the cheese to the sauce to the toppings...everything just works. The classic crust is perfectly cooked and just thin enough to hold everything in place. They don't overdo it with the sauce or cheese, everything is portioned well. Toppings taste fresh. Personally the best pizza is the Pesto Fresco. You can never go wrong with pesto, and being vegetarian this pizza works for me. Even carnivores who were wary of trying it at first fell in love with after their first bite. The staff is always very welcoming and quick. Wait time for the pizza can be a little but they're just cooking your pizza to perfection, so I suggest you should order appetizers if you're super hungry. I've had pizzas from NY to Chicago to LA to SF and Vegas, and this is probably one of my top 5 pizza spots!

Great Pizza. The crust is soft, crispy and perfect. They are closed on Sundays until 4 PM but the owner comes in early and will make you a pizza if you call in your order. It is a little expensive.

Hard to find good Italian food in NorCal. This is a gem. They never stopped making pizza the whole time we were there! The portions are huge. Prepare to unbuckle and enjoy the ride. Our group had spaghetti, ravioli, lasagna and meatballs. The cheese bread was excellent but not needed as we ran out of room. Dinner salad was simple but very tasty. Great service. Prompt and very friendly.

it was pretty difficult dealing with a particular waitress my family and myself had. My brothers are jokers.. Seriously.. wouldn't harm a fly.. or intentionally offend anyone. My brother jokes about having coconut juice (because he is on a health kick..and knows most obviously that there is no coconut juice there). The waitress says that she is going to find someone else to help us because she is stopping herself from being disrespectful.. Keep in mind that we are people of color.. (not rowdy, ghetto, or rude) and this chick acts like she has a serious bug up her ass.. maybe she was just having a bad day.. I don't know but when working in customer service, there is an attitude that you are EXPECTED to have. She was taking herself way too seriously.. and really made it a tense, uncomfortable situation for my family.. I had to spend part of my only off day (from customer service) explaining to her that my brother is not a mean guy and he was joking and wanted to make her laugh.. and if she wasn't taking herself so seriously, she probably would've enjoyed us.. Hell we still tipped her 25% even though she made the experience a sucky one.. Also, I've had the pizza before and it was delicious.. this time around I don't know what happened.. maybe they did something new with the recipe, but it wasn't very good.. unless they put something in our shit because she was complaining about my brother.. Anyway.. if you're a cop.. or if you're white.. you should have a great time and a great experience.

This place is very "mom and pop" and had a very local feel. You can see the employees making the pizza and the servers were really nice. The check in deal for free breadsticks made it that much better. We had a pizza, and it was good but nothing super spectacular either. Side note: a bunch of cops were hanging out here too, so it seems like a safe watering hole in Vallejo

My wife wanted pizza and Napoli's had great reviews. We took a chance and We weren't disappointed. Great service and the meal was outstanding. Definitely not the kind of pizza you get at the chain locations. Service was friendly and outstanding. Our pizza was loaded with toppings and tasted great. We admired the food as it was served to the tables around us. We we'll definitely return for a second visit before we leave the area.

Excellent pizza. Reminds me of east coast real italian pizza. Definitely not the cheapest place around, a large margherita pizza will set you back ~$27 but when I want pizza in Vallejo, this is what I want. So far I've only gotten take out and the times have been about 25 minutes, I've never had to wait longer than that. Props on the garlic breadsticks, they are awesome.

My favorite thing about Napoli's? It's no atrocious college themed pizza joint like Woodstock's with its "frequent woody" cards or another young hipster hang out like Pizza My Heart. There's no TV blaring in the background. There are no immature 20somethings running around, getting drunk, and screaming. No trivia night with an overly loud and obnoxious emcee. Napoli's is just a good, old fashioned, family run restaurant. What they do have though is good food, great service, and a Ms. Pacman table. So what if it looks like it's been there a long time? It has. My partner and I dropped in for lunch a little over a week ago. We ordered a medium Tony's Special and added bell peppers to it. He had an iced tea and I had water. We also had wings as an appetizer. The wings? Good. The pizza? Great. I absolutely positootly enjoyed the crust. Our waitress was just outstanding. She's got that vibe about her. She's friendly and makes you feel like family. They do take a little longer than we're used to now a days but that's because they're not microwaving up some frozen crap dough. My word of advise is either 1) order an appetizer or 2) come a little sooner than that starved feeling. I ordered two medium dough balls and a quart of sauce for a friend of mine who was a former resident of the valley jo but now lives over two hours away. All in all-- my bill came to $40. Pricey? I think not. I have to come back to try the ravioli dinner. My pal told me that is their crème de la crème (and yes, I understand this is an Italian place) PS: check out my photo of our Tony's Special

Yea, i can go to Costco or Pizza Guys or Round Table for a pizza and save some $$, but the fresh hearty homemade pizza's here are hands down DELISH! I've tried the ravioli, and it was good, but when i come here, it's for pizza. I've also had their house salad...which is just an old school salad.... it was crisp and cold...just the way i likey! The staff here is friendly and very welcoming. I love the family atmosphere. And gotta support your local mom and pop shops! Napoli's has never let us down!

Since I moved to Vallejo a year ago one of the things I noticed was there really is not a huge selection of quality place to eat. My work day ended early and my partner was like, hey, I want some pizza. Oh, and not Round Table or something. So I said well find us a place. Well he picked Napoli. When we arrived we were like this is interesting... It's an older place but the service was very prompt. We had one of those old style waitresses, you know the ones who call you honey and dear! She was fabulous, I won't try o say her name because my hearing is terrible and I do not want to get it wrong. The point is she was funny, attentive and made an effort to call us by our names. The pizza was awesome, it had great flavor and a generous helping of toppings. The crust though was the best. It was fluffy on the inside but like a cracker on the bottom. You get full service and they even pack up your pizza for you. Oh and the Pumpkin Crunch Desert is OMG SO GOOD! If you want a nice comfy full service pizza place, this is it!

I seriously mean it when I say that Napoli's is the go-to for the best pizza ever that I've ever eaten thus far. My boyfriend and I came here for dinner one night when we realized that it was too late for any other good restaurants to be open. Albeit the city and the atmosphere around Napoli's is a tad shady and lonely, the little pizzeria is very homey and friendly. The waitress was extremely helpful, friendly, and patient when dealing with us. We ended up ordering a custom pizza: pesto, mushrooms, garlic, chicken, and zucchini. The crust is not overwhelmingly thick and doughy, but crisp and hot out of the oven. Hands down best and yummiest pizza I have ever eaten. I have yet to revisit Napoli's. +3 for awesomely amazing pizza! +1 for friendly service :]

Well after my last visit to Napoli Pizza I must say I am very disappointed. I have been coming to Napoli for over 30 years and for the last 8 months the pizza has been about as good as Domino's. As I am sitting here writing this review I feel like tears are coming to my eyes because Napoli used to be the best pizza in all of California. The Pizza is nowhere near as good as it was before. I would say the pizzas are about half the size they used to be half the cheeze and half the flavor. Anthony please start making the kind of pizza that you used to make years ago please please please. I used to get a pizza from you once and sometimes twice a week but lately we have been going to Zackary's in Oakland just to get a decent pizza. STOP BEING SKIMPY on your cheeze pizzas you and John know who I am. Please start making the pizzas like you did back in the day. Thanks and have a great holiday season.

We have eaten here several times and enjoyed their pizzas as well as there pastas. Tonight we ordered a sausage/mushroom pizza and chicken wings. We got sausage/pepperoni instead but that was not the main problem. The crust tasted like it was a frozen pizza and the chicken wings were very fatty. We went out of the way for good but with this disappointing experience. I'm editing this feedback because the immediate response I received from Anthony shows that they do care about their business and this was a one time experience. I will be going back to give this business another opportunity

The pizza here was excellent, with GREAT crust and decent sauce, but don't come to this restaurant if you want to eat quickly. This is a popular venue, and yet it only had nine or ten tables in it, and only three waiters. Getting a table took ten minutes, and then finally meeting our waiter took another ten. So if you are in a hurry, then this is not the place for you.

Great pizza, great place! Bonus: Pac-Man video game table. Recommend the margarita pizza! I only wish they delivered! Always worth the trip and any wait you might have. They have busy nights, but they are always working like crazy to get your food done. Their kitchen is smaller than mine and they fit 3+ people in it and blast out pizza like you would expect from a family that's been doing so for years. Experts is an understatement. Thanks, Napoli!

I don't know why I haven't written a review about this place yet I'v been coming here for 3 years now. At this point I have narrowed it down to the best restaurant in Vallejo and one of the best pizza places in the bay area. I have only had the pizza, salads and minestrone soup here and all are good especially the pizza. My most recent visit I brought my grandmother (who is very hard to impress) and she loved the pizza. She said it tasted like pizza did when it first came to the US in the 1950's and the thing to do was go have pizza with all of your friends. So if my grandmother likes it then you really know it's good.

AMAZING pizza! The crust is the best. I love the Gina's salad, the cheese bread, and pasta and their sauce tastes like its been simmering on low all day. Their ranch is one of the best I have ever had. The owners and waitresses are really nice.

Was headed home from Sacramento and a friend had mentioned this place to me. Pull off of west bound 80 and grabbed some grub. I ordered the wings and Tony's Special. The wings were very good and the pizza itself was remarkable. Good stuff. I'd definitely will drive out this way just for some pizza. Oh and I also met the owner Anthony, very nice guy and he makes a mean pie. I'll be back...soon... Five out of Five Trans-Fats

I wanted Pizza and yelped pizza joints in Vallejo that were open late on a Saturday night. We went to Napoli's and I have never been more disappointed and disgusted in my life. After waiting on people all day, the last thing I want to do is get poor service. We arrived at 10:30 and their sign said they closed at 11pm. As we parked we could see the waitress talking to the cashier. When we came in she walked around the counter so we could see her but she averted eye contact and now appeared "busy". The cashier who might've been the manager as well avoided eye contact and told us that even though their sign says they're open till 11pm its only for take out or pick up. And again he's looking down and avoiding eye contact. Very poor body language for a person behind a register that is at this moment for all intents and purposes representing this business. Short story shorter I wouldn't have ordered water from this establishment even if I were choking. Napoli's 2012 is NOT Napoli's 15 years ago... Save your money! Never again will I go there.

Exactly as advertised. A local pizza place. Good crust, lots of toppings. Fun to sit near the cashier and watch the process. Beer was good. Wine okay. Parking lot a bit dangerous (as far as drivers go). Fun to people watch, especially next to the PacMan machine.

This place was awesome, didn't know what to expect at first but everything from service to food was perfect! I don't remember the last time I had pizza this good. They were really busy and still managed to do a great job at accompanying us.

why is it sooooooooo Pricey to eat here??? No really why?? does there toppings come from across the sea on airplane?? is the dough special magical dough?? why the heck is everything so freakin pricey please someone explain to me why I should spend so much on A pizza?? I mean ya the food is good but im not rich enough to enjoy there good food I guess. Paying almost 35 bucks for a pizza is to me outragous and i just cant do it I dont care how good it tastes thats a RIP OFF!! They charge like 8 bucks for the large soup and then ontop of that try and charge me extra for some bread to go with it?? really?? cant give me some bread with the overpriced soap gotta charge me for that too?? lol all in all if you got money and dont mind spending it on pizza and soup then diff try this place out but if your looking for a pizza on a budged theres much cheaper just as good places to go in my opinion

Excellent food (we had mozzarella sticks, pizza, and garlic bread), attentive/personable service (thanks John!), and yummy wine ($3.50/glass on Monday nights) - our introduction to Roscato!! AND convenient hours of operation (they're open past 6/7 o'clock when most other local eateries are already closed). A winner all around!

I will never go to Napoli's on a Friday evening. I'm uncertain if I'll go back also. I called in my order at 5:45 pm and I was told the wait to pick up was half an hour. I got there at 6:15 pm. They were busy I had wait in line for five minutes. Then when I paid the cashier said I'll check on your order. As I stood at the front since there wasn't anywhere to sit, not once did he check on my order. I know that there were other customers, but come on if I called in an order then check on it. As I finally was able get a seat I waited twenty minutes and counted six other customers that also called in their orders got their orders before me. To top it off as I get my order the worker said sorry for your wait here's a $10.00 gift card for your next visit. I thought ok that's nice. But then the guy making the pizzas (the owner I believe) asked what my order was and I told him and he said sorry but the gift card isn't for you and quickly took it back and was rude about it. He was so quick to see that the I wasn't supposed to get the gift card but didn't notice that I was there for twenty minutes. The pizza was ok. I was upset about the customer service there.

Pizza is really good. Try the Pepperoni and mushroom. There's a charge for ranch, which I thought was weird considering I just spent $25 on a pizza. Is this what people mean when they say "nickel and dime ya?"

Just went again today. Great pizza, great service! Not all 5 stars because they charge for ranch! Otherwise, a good pizza joint in Vallejo

Highly recommended by an employee at Six Flags. Decided to go ahead and give it a try. Delicious crispy Napoli's special. Perfect amount of toppings and very tasty sauce. Would highly recomnend this place and it's a great place to go to after leaving Six Flags, especially since the food is not too good there. Also, the waitress was very accomodating and friendly. One more thing, if you love blue cheese you gotta try the wedge salad, very yummy

Was visiting family in Vallejo for the first time and was admittedly nervous going into downtown just based on "reputation". Napoli's is an oasis in Vallejo. I found the joint via 'Yelp' and was impressed based on their staff, service, price, and product. When I go back to visit family in Vallejo I will be back to Napoli's.

Hands down the best pizza in the North Bay - quite possibly the Bay Area! I know that's a big claim, but being born and raised in the Bay and having tried literally hundreds of places, I have yet to find a better Pizzeria for the classic pizza experience. Thank you Napoli for staying this great for this long! Salud!

we were the only ones there when we arrived for a 12-ish lunchtime. People started rolling in around 1-ish. There was only 2 workers: a cook and a waitress. Food: took a while to cook, but the pizza was well worth the wait! The pizza alone was the star. Small Original pizza- extremely delicious with generous toppings. It was enough to feed 2 people. Tortellini with red sauce- nothing special, we only ate 2 pieces each, but the portion was huge. Service- friendly waitress and attentive Prices were decent. Pizza was about $13 and the tortellini was $10.

EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS! I have been Eating here since I've been alive! My parents have been eating here since they've been alive. The place is awesome! I eat here on a regular basis. The owner and staff are all great people and the service is typically great. I like the fact that the establishment has finally started adding new menu items to kind of bring them up to present day status but also not forgot the stuff that made them famous! The pizza is delicious and can be had in thick or thin crust. The pasta dishes are Very tasty as well! Homeade minestrone soup, homeade Italian and blue cheese dressings and fresh Parmesan Cheese are all key points to check out! it really makes a huge difference on things like your Salad , Pasta Or Pizza. 4 out of 5 stars, The staff is pretty consistant , but there is one or two that cant handle the heat if it gets busy and your refills will start to suffer. if you get Michelle as your waitress you will be in good hands! The other compliant is everything but the seating seems to have been remodeled. The place is great looking and has an old school vibe BUT the seats really suck hence why te take out more then we dine in. it would be great if they were more comfortable and just a touch higher off the ground. NONE the less be sure to swing by and try this place out and enjoy!!

This place has the most incredible pizza I've ever had on the west coast . Amazing. Told them to make it crispy bottom with all the toppings, done. Each bite tasted like the first! The crust, amazing. The single guy responsible for the creation and to the dingle guy baking it? Masters. cannot wait to go back, the Pizza is AMAZING!

I was bummed recently to hear that an armed robbery had occurred at Napoli's. May Itchy Karma inflict the slack-jawed doofus who did that crime. Shame, as Napoli's is probably the most family and old school oriented Pizza Place in Vallejo. I'm familiar with the neighborhood, as my friendly Kawasaki ZRX1200-Bike shop is about across the street. Enjoyed, quite a bit, Napoli's generous Wedge Salad with sliced tomatoes, real chunky bacon bits and blue cheese. Backed that up with their toasty Pizza Sandwich, a french roll chock full of meat, cheese, and hot marinara sauce. Chased it all with some soda, and had a thoroughly kick-butt meal. Stay safe, Napoli's!

As a man who loves food, this is the best pizza place in the world that I have been to in the world guaranteed to make you come back for more Mushrooms peperoni and sausage on the crispy side and a coors light it's the best :) A little pricey but better then all those greasy pizza parlours which give you instant heart burn.

Let me start by saying pizza is pretty meh to me. I almost never tell my husband I want to get pizza for dinner. This place has changed that. This is some crazy good pizza. I don't know what they do to the crust but it is magic. If we're getting pizza we're getting Napoli's or we're wasting our time.

  • Kathryn A.

The pizza here is great. Ooey-gooey cheese, fresh toppings and beer! Yay! The crust is cooked crispy. The waitress was real nice and unpretentious.Drinks were cold and food was hot. Maybe too hot for me, but then again I don't like really hot food. Heck, I take iced coffee all year. The only thing keeping me from giveing it 5 stars is the price. I go here for a special occasion here and there, but I'm on a fixed income so Little Cesear's $5 take away is what I mostly get. If they were able to bring it down a little, I would be here more often.

Delish!!! Really nice staff!! Clean establishment!! Asked for a glass of water.. And got a sparkling clean glass with a straw!! Michele our server for the night was polite and kind!! Free Wifi!!! One of the only places open on the late night in Vallejo!! I Love it!!

There's a special bond between a man and a greasy pizza loaded with meat. Napoli's understands this sick, primal urge and delivers a gutbustingly delicious pie that even the pickiest eater is bound to enjoy. The regular combination is a savory meatfest. Loads of spicy sausage, pepperoni, salami, mushroom and olive adorn each and every flavorful piece. Sauce is one of the sticking points that sets a good pizza place apart from the greats. That being said, the sauce here is fantastic. Just the right amount of sweetness to complement the savory tomato flavor. They certainly aren't afraid to lather it on which is a +1 in my book. The service was quick and attentive even though there was a crowd on a Wednesday night that would make the fire marshal crap himself. As for beer I would recommend getting a large pitcher. The small pitcher looks just about right for a dwarf, hobbit or small woodland creature. Take the leap to large and thank me later. When your stomach howls for a delicious, greasy pizza, go for a drive to Napoli. You are sure to leave happy and perhaps a few exceedingly tasty pounds heavier.

Was headed home from a gig in San Mateo on a Thursday night. It was a little after 9 so we decided to Yelp a place to eat in Vallejo. Napoli popped up and we headed there. They close at 10pm and we popped in around 930 to dine in. Despite getting there right before closing, the staff was very gracious. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and ravioli plate, my boyfriend ordered the lasagna and a small all meat pizza (his eyes are always bigger than his stomach). The ravioli were probably the best meat-filled ravioli I've ever tasted. Clearly handmade, the filling was rich and flavorful, and the sauce was a perfect compliment. The meatballs were moist and also flavorful. According to my BF, the lasagna hit the spot. Portion size was huge, the sauce was rich and meaty. The pizza we took to go, but I sampled it in the car on the way home. Awesome! Even discovered before we left that this place is owned by the same family that owns our favorite pizzeria in Sacramento, Roma's Pizzeria on Franklin Blvd. so if ur passing through Vallejo, or even if ur not, Napoli is worth the drive!

Delicious! If you are in the vicinity of Vallejo, this is the kind of place that you need to have on your speed dial! If you're in a crunch for time, just order ahead and pick up! You can even make reservations or call just to say what's up. ahahah. but seriously, what a treasure trove of toppings, cheese, pizzas, and pizza sandwiches. You could probably build a mountain of happiness with the amount of mozarella this place must go through in a day.

One of my favorite local pizza places I know of. We used to go here after my baseball games played in Vallejo. Cool old time feel, one of the last true pizza parlors around, where eating it there is ten times better than picking it up or delivery.

Pros: one of the best pizzas i've ever had. Cons: did not put enough beef on my pizza. We ordered a large pizza. Was enough for 4 with one slice left over. Pizza was delicious and cooked to perfection. Crust and pizza sauce was excellent. Checked in to get our free garlic bread. Wear a jacket cause the restaurant was too cold.

We came in on a Sunday evening around 445. The place had a few tables filled but the place was not packed. We were greeted promptly. we sat down to figure out what we wanted (first timers). We ordered a calzone, bread sticks, and chicken parm sandwich to go. It took almost an hour to get our to go order. When we got home to eat our Food the bread sticks were rock hard and had too much butter and oregano. Maybe they thought whatever was cheap they were going to put on our bread sticks. They were really buttery and hard at the same time...hmmm. The chicken parm sandwich was edible but that's it. Nothing special at all. The calzone was so tiny and bland with too much butter. The dough was good. My boyfriend hardly ever tries anything new but we decided to this time. But big mistake... I will never come here again.

My family and I enjoy Napoli's pizza usually two or three times a month, it's fantastic. I'd come here every day if I could. The sausage is delicious, pepperoni...perfect, sauce...superb. Twelve thumbs up from us. If you're calling in an order in the evening, allow at least 30 minutes before you pick it up as they get pretty busy and there's only so much room in the oven. ;)

My cousin took me here for dinner and I was glad he did. I haven't had a good NY slice in sometime and Napoli hit the spot. One of our friend's referred it to him and he brought me here since I was craving pizza. The service was slow at first, but picked up. I didn't mind that after I spelled the pizza. If it wasn't so far from my home I would go back there. Next time I'm in Vallejo/American Canyon I'm going to stop by. The flavor of the crust the right amount of cheese to toppings and you have yourself a winning combination.

Went to Napoli Monday and to our suprise they now have a happy hour. There was a menu which has discounted items including Buffalo wings which are new!! So we had some garlic cheese bread and some wings.. The wings were very good. Neither hot nor mild. Best described as TANGY. MMMM Served with your choice of blue cheese or ranch and the traditional celery. Glad to see a new menu item.

Delicious, consistent pizza in a family-run business. No gimmicks, just good tasty pizza. Been eating here since I was a kid and the place has not changed at all - and that's a good thing. My favorite is pepperoni, mushroom, black olives, and fresh tomatoes. You should know before you go - It's in a rough neighborhood, but so is 85% of the good food in Vallejo. Also, make sure you order from the one on Tennessee Street because it's better than the others somehow. Maybe all the years of pizza cooking in there gives it a more special flavor than the other places. Eat there or take-out, it will be good. 4 stars, not 5, because it's not the best pizza I've ever had, but it is the best in Vallejo.

Really enjoyed our first pizza from Napoli Pizzeria. Phoned our order in for pick-up - they don't deliver. It was ready when we got there. We took one of their combos - healthy pizza, to which we added a few unhealthy bits (tomatoes, garlic and artichokes with sausage and extra cheese. Very tasty and happy to find this place after trying out a few other places. Will definitely go back.

I really want to give 5 but some things could be improved on. However the taste is definitely a 5 star! I usually get a thin crust pizza with simple toppings. I am not sure if it is the sauce or what but it is SO GOOD. I also like to get their basic garden salad with the BLUE CHEESE DRESSING. Made by hand (literally) it is my most favorite dressing ever. Dip the crust in once the salad is gone, delightful!

I thought I found a new pizza joint....first time, loved the pizza.... Second time around, i ordered a large pepperoni, mushroom and tomato pizza, my hubby picks it up and sees a pepperoni, mushroom and pineapple pizza. Tells them the pizza is wrong, they offer to make a new pizza but would have to wait another 30 minutes. It is almost 11pm! They offer to throw tomatoes on and reheat plus $5 discount. My hubby opts to do what's faster. (bad decision but what an inconvenience to wait) Pizza had so much moisture it puddled in the middle of the pizza so we couldn't even grab the slice without it falling apart. Worst pizza ever!! A $5 discount did not make me feel better about the horrible pizza. We wasted our money and I can't even look at the pizza let alone eat another bite. Inconsistent and disappointing. The girl who took the order is an idiot. How hard can it be to take an order with only 3 toppings?!!! I will never, ever go back.

Hand tossed pizza for 43 years. The SUPER was excellent combo pizza with fresh ingredients, but the dough makes it. Good crunch with each bite,& holds up for good eats the next morning. I wanna eat some now!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
