Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

First time we have eaten at an Extreme Pita and we impressed. Very clean and friendly staff. They explained the menu and answered any questions we had. Food was good. Wish there was more chicken on the pits but the flavor was good. I felt the cost was a little high. We will be back again.

Very mehhhh! The only reason I'm giving three stars bc my mom liked her grilled chicken pita; However, I did not. I got the original falafel pita and it was so soggy the pita fell apart and turned into a big salad looking thing. The actual pita lacked flavor and seasoning. I'm out of town and was trying to look for something semi healthy and was completely disappointed

The food was pretty good, and the employees were friendly and provided good service. Also the price was very reasonable. The kids enjoyed their food. This place is good for something quick and cheap, but also healthy. We had an enjoyable experience here.

Tasty- not as authentic as I'd hoped....but tasty just the same...a bit pricy though for a takeout pita sandwich place...

Exactly what the city of Tracy needed. The staff is absolutely amazing and the food is just outstanding. The restaurant is very clean and definitely has a modern look to it which alot of the restaurants need to have here in tracy. Definitely a place i will come back to and will encourage anyone who wants to try something new with a healthy twist to it. Also went there for lunch friday everyone had a great personality especially the young lady on the grill. She was very polite and when she had the chance she made an effort to come out to the dining just to make sure everything was ok with the customers there. If i can rate this place a 10 i would.

Excellent service! The staff is very friendly here.We accidentally explored this restaurant on our way to Stockton and I am so glad we did! The food here is so fresh and tasty! They have a very good variety of Pitas,Falafel and Pizzas. Also Being a vegetarian, i found that they have sooo many options for veggie lovers - you can customize your meal as per your choice which I think is a great option to have.Nice and Clean Environment.A must visit ..will definitely visit again!

We had never heard of Extreme Pita until we experienced it in Tracy a few weeks ago. This is a new franchise. They advertise their food as healthy alternative and boldly post nutrition information near the entrance. You select the vegetables from a salad bar and the desired falafel (our choice) or meat. They mix it up in a bowl with one of the many sauces (our pick was tahini and salsa) and wrap it in a warmed up pita. Absolutely fantastic food and sumptuous quantity. Great value. My wife and I shared a pita. We went back there a second time and got to meet with a young lady Yuvika, who is the founder / entrepreneur. Nice to see healthy alternatives in restaurants at an affordable price.

This place is AWESOME!! The service is great, super friendly & helpful.. They explained how the process works & listened really carefully to all the veggies I wanted on my pizza! They have pitas, pizzas, and all kinds of other stuff for everyone, whether you're vegetarian, vegan, healthy eater, or an unhealthy eater lol Everything looks fresh, the place is really clean inside with nice decor, and they have strawberry watermelon lemonade!! The price wasn't too bad either!

Very disappointed with this place. My wife order a pita sandwich and when we got home to eat, the pita literally came apart. The pita bread was already cracked. She tried her best hold the put a together but everything in it just broke apart. She kept cursing after each bite. They don't know how to build a pita sandwich.

Finally a pita meal I enjoy! My recent visit to Extreme Pita was by accident. I was picking up food for my family and I felt like popping my head in. Looking at the menu is a little intimidating because they have sauces and other ingredients that I wouldn't normally order. I finally made a decision to get the chicken souvlaki pita which had everything a Mediterranean salad has, olives, dressing, tomato, etc. My goodness this pita was delicious! I'm hoping I'm around town more often to make it for lunch here again. Not only was the food great, the staff were really nice. The one lady even gave me a coupon for my visit. I was very happy with the service. Thank you!

Worthy of an extra star, I've been back numerous times since the initial opening and things have changed slightly as the last few times my Pita has had more Chicken (yay!). One thing this girl needs is her Protein! Staff are efficient and friendly and my last vsit I also got to meet the franchise owner who informed me of their upcoming plans and grand opening event at the end of January. This place is really what Tracy needed, healthy and quick. There's way too many fast food Burger places around here.

Yummo food, get creative (I do steak and chicken). Always tastes fresh and clean. Staff are super cool too. Skip subway and do yourself a favor and go extreme !! Remember to ask for double meat and go protein heavy, great after a workout ;)

Another great addition in Tracy. I have been here several times staff is helpful and patient while I decided what to order. If you like Lamb give the Hercules a try. The food is delicious I will be coming here again in the near future.

Okay, so i thought I'd give the place another shot. Glad i did, it gave me a chance to revisit my earlier review of the place. This time, everything was as advertised fresh and tasty. If the restaurant was in a little better shape they would have gotten the fifth star.

Came a couple of times-always nice staff. Last time the produce was not fresh-can you say 'browning'? Would eat here again after looking at the produce first.

Looking for a somewhat healthier choice for early dinner and came across this place, located in a shopping plaza so it's convenient and easy parking. The place was empty around 7p, I ordered the thai beef pita and my friend ordered the Buffalo chicken flatbaked. I was very much satisfied with my order, very tender beef and the thai dressing was on point...a great twist with two of my favorites... Thai and pita!! I honestly thought it's one of the most exiciting things I have eaten in a while, it was creative and bursting with flavors! . I wish we had one of these in SD... anyway, I also enjoyed the pear green tea..it was very refreshing and nice pair with the Thai beef.... If I was in Tracy again, I would definitely come back...lol

I came across this place while strolling some side streets of the west valley mall.It is a nice place with reasonable price tag. I ordered a Gyro and it tasted great! Would definitely come back again.

Quite good, very fresh, quick service. The food was well above average and is prepped right in front of you. Small dining area but it was nice and clean. Bonus: try the cucumber mint lemonade...it's wonderful.

I finally got to try this place yesterday. I was craving falafel and was happy to find something that fits my diet. I ordered the falafel salad (with sriracha sauce instead of sriracha aioli) and now I'm hooked! I can't wait to go back and have this again! As much as I love the falafel salad, I hope to find other food on their menu that I can have (being vegan and gluten free). Place was clean. Service was fast although I came in at a slow time (around 2pm/after lunch rush) and the lady that took my order helped me in trying to figure out what sauce would be ok to mix in my salad.

  • Sheila M.

I was very impressed! The food was very fresh, they make it right in front of you. There are many different options to choose from and the price is great. I would highly recommend and I will be back. It is a nice healthy "fast" alternative.

I'm a big fan of innovation in the multi-location fast food joint space. That's because as a vegetarian I feel that the odds are stacked against me whenever I go on a road trip and my group decides to stop at a strip-mall to grab food. (thanks to the McDonald's, In N Out's and Wendy's of the world.) Wouldn't it be awesome to eat solid, tasty, freshly-prepared, standardized and dependable vegetarian food when you're on the road? Extreme Pita might be the answer to all my prayers. Extreme Pita is a Canadian chain that doesn't have a lot of locations in the US yet. But I happened to stumble upon this particular one in Tracy, en route to Yosemite from San Francisco. Think of this place as a Chipotle of Mediterranean food - not really authentic, but tasty and great value for money. I had the Falafel sandwich - Falafel, tabouleh, fresh veggies, hummus and hot sauce stuffed inside a Pita (Mediterranean bread) which is in-turn wrapped up like a burrito. You have two size options - small and regular. I chose the regular, which was massive and hard to finish. You can also make your sandwich into a meal with soup, a drink and chips, all under $10. I believe they also have salads, but that is something left to try for my second visit to this place. I do hope (for my own sake and theirs) that they open more locations across the country :)

  • Cheri M.

So glad they brought an extreme pita to tracy! I always go to the location by my work in SJ but now it's right at home. The location is fairly small but it does the trick. I'm obsessed with the chicken shawarma wrap and the buffalo chicken one. Super good and so much better than any "fast" food place around. I don't feel horrible after eating it and it's so filling. We will definitely be coming back!

Came here for the first time today, and I'm in love! The service was wonderful, since this was my first time, they explained the whole ordering process and were very patient. The staff was very polite and professional, they made me and my co-worker feel welcome. The atmosphere was very cozy, and the decorations were very modern and hip. The food was AMAZING, I ordered the Caesar salad and the portion and flavors were perfect. I will definitely be back!

Wanted to try something new for lunch. extremepita was amazingly fresh and filling. Everyone here was very friendly and helpful when it came to it being my first time. I got a the grilled chicken wrap. Plenty full from it. Great place! I even told the owner to put one closer to home for me in the Bay Area, she was very interested in hearing my opinion and where a place like such would thrive. Go!

Extreme Pita is a refreshing addition to Tracy's fast food line up. Conveniently located in the Tracy Pavilion shopping center, it is easy to find and I'm so glad that they have finally arrived! My husband and I visited Extreme Pita for a late dinner last week. We were greeted right away by a friendly employee who quickly explained how the menu worked since we told her that it was our first time there. She was super friendly and I wish I would have gotten her name because she deserves recognition for being so awesome! My husband ordered a chicken pita and I got the Philly steak pita. Both were very good! I have to watch my carbs so I wasn't able to have the whole pita but the pita itself was really good! Overall delicious food and great service! We will definitely be back again!

Love, love this extreme pita place! I've always been a fan of this chain and so glad to see one in Tracy! Keep up the good work!!

Stopped by this place on our way to Bear Valley. This place just opened up recently so the owners were super careful to make sure that everything that they served was okay. I got the Hercules pita and they sure do stuff a lot of toppings into the pita. They've also got a pretty cool pita wrap, ergonomically designed so that it would rip easy in the middle, and there's a little plastic bag on the inside of the paper wrap so that you can hold onto the pita with both hands without actually touching the pita. From their packaging and their concern it was clear that they cared about your eating experience, which is great. But to be honest i've had better pitas, and this one despite the amazing staff falls a bit short in terms of tastiness. But still a solid 3 stars.

This was my first visit to Extreme Pita. The staff was friendly and the was good. I tried the Spring Fever Pita. It had fresh strawberries, blueberries, cranberries, spring mix, caramelized onions, creamy balsamic dressing and grilled chicken. It was very flavorful and hit the spot for my late night dinner. I will be back.

At first I was a little hesitant to eat here. I decided to go for it and I didn't regret it. It's a good healthier option to the traditional fast food.

Got the double philly cheesesteak pita and it was awesome. Will definitely have to go back and try out the rest of the menu.

Honestly, I'm not much of a pita person but since my recent change in diet, this seems like a reasonable place to eat from now on. Prices are pretty hefty once you walk out the door with a combo meal. Be prepared to spend almost $10 or more if you are not just ordering one item. I've had the chicken shawarma, compared to the real authentic ones you get overseas (been deployed, got the t-shirt, etc), it doesn't hold a candle to them, of course. I really like the Hercules. The meats (gyro and lamb) are really tasty. At times the sauces and feta are a little overpowering but also tasty nonetheless. I usually order just one item (pita) and that is usually enough to fill me up. I'm talking about the regular super burrito size pita. There's also the half size pita for those that don't want too much on their plate. On my next visit I think I may try the falafel and see how that goes. One more thing...depending on who's working and making your pita, taste of said pita will vary from worker to worker. One worker may put too much of one ingredient while another may put too little so you'll get varying degrees in taste but not by much though.

Nice concept. Fresh food at a fast food pace. Can't beat it. I like.the variety. Planning to go back and try out the other items listed on their menu

This is just what Tracy needed.. fresh ingredients, Greek style and flavors you can't get from fast food! This place is always clean and inviting. The staff is very nice and accommodating. My favorite is the Chicken Sovlaski which they serve Greek style. .I've tried their falafel pita.. also very decent... I didn't really care for their pita chips but they do also offer regular everyday variety chips. On average you can easily spend $10 for one person but it's totally worth the splurge for something different from the norm.

Extreme pita, more like extreme suckiness. I went to extreme pita 2 days ago and it sucked. I ordered a chicken wrap, and oh was It bad. The price was outrageous, 8.50$ for a regular wrap, the flavors were horrible and the staff were really rude, I asked for a cup to get my drinks but that took them about 5 minutes, and the store was empty. I would not recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy.

This place was pretty good. Me and my boyfriend eat pretty healthy so they had a lot of options. The owner is really nice. He took the time to ask us how our experience was and gave us coupons to come back next time. The guy who made our sandwich was really nice too and gave us good recommendations of what to eat. Pitas aren't my personal favorite but I got the pitta pizza and I really liked it. Ill definitely be back.

From the good food to the great and friendly customer service - Extreme Pita has definitely made its mark here in Tracy, CA. This is my mom and I's second time trying out the place since last Saturday. The first time, we both ordered Falafel Pita and it was amazing! I couldn't believe that I had finished a regular size and not even having to feel heavy afterwards.... Was definitely a guilt-free feeling indeed! ;-) My mom and I like how the employees are fast workers, very clean (by wearing gloves), and organized. :-) Thanks Extreme Pita for your excellent service and great Mediterranean Fast Food. We'll be sure to let our friends and family know more about you guys and like your page on Facebook! :-) Cheers to another HIT restaurant in Tracy!

I had tried Extreme pita when I was in Canada and loved it so when I found one here in California was very eager to try it. I wasn't disappointed. Same great and fresh taste and very friendly staff! Worth trying it and would definitely recommend for a quick healthy bite.

This place is great. Very nice staff and excellent food, it taste fresh and fills you up but doesn't weigh you down. One thing that is cool is that they ask you if you been there before and will kindly walk you through the entire process, no intimidation factor when you order! Clean environment. I tried the hercules, shwarma, chicken ceasar and other chicken thing (forgot the name but it was the popular greek\athens one). I'm going to try to freestyle order next time.

For a grand opening I was expecting good friendly customer service, but instead, I received rudeness. This was my first time at an Extreme Pita so I wasn't familiar with the menu. When we asked if we could substitute chicken in the Hercules we were told no very rudely by the blonde attendant. Not only did she look annoyed by our questions, she would roll her eyes and make smart remarks to the other attendant. However, not all employees were rude like her, The cashier was very friendly despite the blonde girl barking orders at her. The food was okay (I ordered the chicken ceaser) and fresh. The place was clean (wouldn't expect anything less on their first day), and lots of screens on the walls. Gave it a modern feel. May give this place another try, hopefully I don't have the same attendant again.

Place looks good from the outside. Service was good only by one Mexican lady. The other one were terrible don't ask you what to add and what not to add. Then tables were dirty. But at the end it was good. That's why I give it 4 instead of 5.

So I'm not much for wraps BUT they did have pizza here! That a bit shocking and I was totally all up for it. I'm a sucker for personal pan pizzas and this was actually pretty good. This isn't your typical heavy grease filled dinner pizza. I got a combination one and I do have to say this is what I would define as a "lunch pizza". It's light. It fills you up without making you feel like you need a nap. So if you're not up for wraps go for the pizzas! This is probably a perfect place for lunch considering Tracy is *literally* filled with food places consisting of meat and buns. There's finally a bit of variety-especially in this plaza! Pita place fits right in among the diversity. If you work over in this plaza this is a good lunch stop for you. Too bad there's no office buildings or a college campus nearby because this place would be a really good lunch spot!

Got a coupon an figured I'd try this place out. The ambiance is fast food clique and everything is still new so in good repair. Place was clean except for the restroom which was none too fresh. The counter staff seemed not very seasoned but was very friendly and helpful! I had a Thai Chicken Pita and Minestrone soup. Neither of which tasted very inspiring. I went for dinner and maybe I should have tried it for lunch instead because the portions are pretty small of course. Most other things in the menu have dairy (very Greek:) so are out for me.:( Without the coupon this meal with drink would have set me back about 11 bucks which is a lot for what it is but I guess that's the going price for boutique fast food. While I don't think I'll go back here myself I would recommend anyone to try this place it for themselves!

We discovered this place on our way back from Tahoe (Detour). This turned out to be a great find for us vegetarians. We tried the falafel pita(yummmsters!!) and Veggie flatbread which was pretty decent as well. The portions are pretty generous and the food is moderately priced. I was pleasantly surprised with the well made kiddie meal. Overall very clean facility. Great place for a quick bite ! Definitely Recommend it.

I've been waiting for the opening of this sweet little sit-in spot for a while now! More than excited to see it in Tracy (I've been to the Modesto and Pleasanton locations) It's understandable that they're still trying to get their bearings, being so new. The menu has changed a bit as well, seems like the company decided to make major changes on look and menu options, so walking in was a surprise for me. It's going to take some patience to get used to it. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma, my personal favorite (if you like meat, I recommend the falafel gyro, for lean meat, the Grilled Chicken to start) super good, I tend to get a small because of the size is nicely portioned for small stomachs like me, which fill me up quite nicely! I also recommend buying their pita chips too, they just compliment the wrap very much. Overall, can't wait to return whenever I need a nice light lunch that keeps me satisfied all evening! Only downside is the weather--they do not have any warm drinks to offer. Stay bundled and order a warm wrap and you'll be good till spring rolls around

  • Christopher B.

I didn't really know what to expect coming in. I've had pitas in the past and I'm a pretty big fan. I had the chicken souvlaki pita and I found it to be very average. I lived in a highly populated Middle Eastern community so many my expectations are higher than others but if you're going to advertise it as such then it should live up to it, right? Anyway, there was nothing bad about it but I felt like the flavor was really lacking. It was basically chicken with a bunch of veggies with the hope that the sauce would provide all the flavor. Just came up short for me.

Don't see why I can't give this new comer 5 stars! I visited Extreme Pita on a Tuesday afternoon and was immediately and warmly greeted by who I believe is the owner. Since this place is relatively new and possibly considered different, I was asked if it was my first time ordering Mediterranean food. I replied with a yes, and with enthusiasm and passion the nice lady meticulously generated a detailed picture of what I'd be getting. I ended up getting a regular sized "Hercules" gyro and enjoyed each and every bite. The prices are pretty standard at about $7-$8 and the feeling you have after consuming your meal is light and great since the portions are on the much healthier and perfect amount. I will DEFINITELY visit this restaurant again and only hope the great service and food continues to serve this community.

I saw this place the other week and decided to give it a shot-it does seem Tracy does not have a huge variety and Greek seemed novel here. The place was perfect in cleanliness and the people behind the counter were kind and helpful. The food was great; fresh and flavorful. I had looked on yelp and went to the menu. The item I tried to get was not on the menu, but they looked at what I had and were able to create it. I will definitely be going back.

My wife and I ate at the Extreme Pita in Tracy for the first time and last time on March 1st. We ate the Chicken Shawarma and the Hercules around 2 PM that day. Later that night, around 10 PM, my wife felt nauseous, dizzy, and started vomiting. Shortly thereafter, I felt nauseous, dizzy, and had diarrhea. The next day was even worse for me as I started vomiting around 4:30 AM followed by a high fever and more diarrhea. It put me on my back for 24 straight hours as I recovered from this Extreme Food Poisoning. This made me miss a whole day of work since I could not even get out of bed. We did some research online and found out that there are other complaints about food poisoning at the Tracy Extreme Pita and other locations. Never again will we eat at Extreme Puka!

Came here the other night and ordered dinner for my family. Spent over $50 on food that was disgusting. Bad flavor, soggy pita, just gross. They got our order wrong and the customer service was terrible. The store was dirty, it was as if they swept and gave up half way through the store and just left the pile of mess there. The tables had old wrappers there and the seating booths are already stained. The place is this bad and they haven't even had their grand opening yet. Never coming here again.

I read the other reviews and i dont share the same experience. I noticed the pita sign a while back and i was excited to see they are now open. The moment i walked in i was greeted. I didnt know what to get so i asked Rebecca, the employee, what she likes. She suggested the middeterainian, so i went with that and asked to add chicken. Both of the girls were friendly and nice. She suggested i make it a meal and gave me a sample of the apple pear drink. I loved the drink it reminded me of applesauce meet pear nectar (the jumex Mexican cans). The pita was a good size and it was very flavorful. I agree i could use a little more chicken, but for a brand new place i thought they did great! I project this place will be a big hit. Especially in the same center as starbucks. It is a healthier alternative to fast food. Good luck guys!! :)

I might need to give this place another try before I can really be qualified to leave a review, BUT from what I just ate...I wasn't too pleased..I haven't had a real authentic shawarma in 2 years b/c I was afraid nowhere else can compare to what I had when I went to a different country lol. I had the chicken sharwarma. It was nicely stuffed, and big portion but it was missing flavor. It had lots of sauce, but it didn't give me any flavor! It was just sour. The pita kind of tasted like it had cinnamon & fell apart. The chicken wasn't slices or pieces it was more like a canned tuna texture. I took 3 bites of mine & gave it to my husband. It's too bad too b/c I was looking forward to them opening. Maybe a beef sharwarma would be more pleasing. Spicy beef? Just saying. (; but I'll update my review once I go back try something else & see what the verdict is. Too bad because the chicken sharwarma looked so good!!!

My family and I came across this place unexpectedly one night, and I'm so glad we did! There's not many options for fast food that is actually somewhat healthy, but Extreme Pita hits the mark. The restaurant was super clean, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable, and there were so many tasty options on the menu. The menu consists of mostly pita wraps, or maybe they're just called pita sandwiches, and you can order a size small or regular. The regular is very generously sized. You can order off the menu and take away or add anything, or you can build your own. The Chicken Souvlaki Pita was delicious! It was filled with grilled chicken, tomato, cucumber, greens, kalmata olives, red onion, feta, mint yogurt sauce, and Greek dressing. The minestrone soup was too tomatoey , but the Chicken Enchilada soup was creamy goodness. I'd recommend eating there, because I could see the pita bread getting too soggy if it had to sit for long. They also have grilled flat pitas, similar to pizzas. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the pricing is a bit steep. The small pitas are in the $5 range, and the regular size are in the $7 range. If you want to make it a meal, with a drink & side (chips or soup), you have to add another $2.69. Over $10 for a fast food lunch is going to detour a lot of people. I'm not a big fan of soda, and the sides weren't worth adding on, so I'll stick with just a pita. It's filling enough on its own! All in all, it's a great place to eat, and I'm looking forward to trying other things on the menu. My family and I will definitely be returning!

Extreme pita is as ethnically close to Greek/Mediterranean that Tracy will get (besides the dozens of Afghan places here). As someone who does a low carb diet about 75% of the week, it's nice to come here and get salads. The gyro meat is really good and the portion sizes are fairly decent. Customer service has been great every time I have been there. I would definitely check this out if you are looking for an alternative to Subway.

It's been a long time since I've eaten at a pita place. It's nice that Tracy now has one! I loved the Hercules pita that I had ordered! It was delicious and healthy! Friendly staff too! I'd definitely come here again, for sure!

This location in Tracy is hidden but extremely convenient coming off the freeway especially if your on the go and want quality and speed. Everything we had was extremely fresh with perfect portions. Rare to find a great price and I excellent quality all in one. Take a visit you definitely will not regret it.

Happened upon this place while Christmas shopping at the adjacent mall. Signage wasn't especially helpful. Anyway, it's right next to Panda. This is a franchise but the first time I'd seen or heard of it. The concept is great. I like that when you make your choice of sandwich ingredients, the server places them in a bowl and mixes and incorporates all with the condiments and sauce or dressing of your choice. Makes for a moist yet fresh concoction. This particular franchisee is that of a very nice, friendly family whom we chatted up. They've just opened this shop within the last few months.

What I like best is the healthiness and freshness of the menu. They have the calorie counts and they do not cut corners on delivering authentic food. It's very tasty and innovative, but the food has classic flavors. I got a Gyro, and a side of Minestrone soup. This particular store has rather nice customer service too.

it is a fresh wrap alternative to subway at the other end of the strip. however, they must be having new store opening learning pains. the wrap was not wrapped properly so it tore and was very messy - better to just eat with a fork. If you have had chicken shawarma at a greek restaurant - you may be underwhelmed by EPs version - they should really just call it a chicken wrap/pita. The mint yogurt sauce is a little to heavy on the mint and they should consider having a traditional tzatziki sauce alternative. The watermenolade was tasty - but it was not chilled - they had to add ice from a cooler (not sure about the health & safety code for that).

Tried extreme pita while visiting family in tracy. Had the chipolte chicken. It was very blan and didn't have a lot of flavor. Even my family members felt the same way about their's. Service was alright. Place was very clean. Probably won't go there again due to better resturants in the area.

Love this place because it's near the highway and it has the trifecta which is very hard to find: 1. Healthy 2. Delicious 3. Easy to eat while driving Bonus 4. Also affordable Highly recommended.

Good food but very rude employees, some r very friendly but ive been there about 3-4 times now and usually the blonde girl with the piercings on her face is usually the one whos very rude, also i dont see what company would even allow those kinds of piercings? Pretty unprofessional if u ask me..

Food is okay. Bathroom smells weird like sour food. Next time I'll get the salad option I wasn't a fan of the pita itself

Went there one time. It was friendly. I ordered a falafel pita, which the server messed up and made as some fusion of the falafel and another mediterranean combo. They offered to replace it but I said no no, that's fine. And that's exactly what it is, fine. I was not super impressed as far as falafel goes. Nothing like dear old Pita Inn in Skokie, IL. The place was clean, the server (despite messing up my order) was welcoming and offered to explain the menu, etc. The menu so far as it goes is interesting, they have some basic mediterranean inspired stuff, and then some more ecclectic options like a Thai chicken pita. Ahh well it's just fine, I would go back, and for this area which has a dearth of middle-eastern restaurants it's a nice change of pace.

First time trying it out. Clean establishment, friendly service and good food. You have an option to pick an option straight from the menu or completely creating your own. Food was reasonably priced and I appreciated the healthier alternative of food. When I'm in the area I'll definitely be back.

We tried this place this week not really knowing what to expect. It was pretty good. New and clean. I thought it was a little spendy considering what it took to make it, but it tasted a lot better than I thought it would. Only suggestion would be to add more than a sliver of steak to the "double Philly cheese steak" How exactly is a tiny amount of meat and cheese a double?

Found this place on the way to someplace else to eat and decided to give it a try. Staff was friendly and efficient and the food was outstanding. Had flat bread buffalo chicken pizza and the Hercules. Excellent and very satisfying. Welcome to Tracy.

I have been to this location 3 times and enjoyed each meal. The staff is courteous, and kind, and the line moves quickly. The food is good and I will absolutely go back. If you are interesting in a clean healthy meal this place is a must try.

Delicious pitas, I had the chicken Caesar pita. The cookies are really good. It's something different but healthy and it tastes great. Fast service and great seating. It's located next to Panda Express. With the pitas we had combos; two drinks and we received two cookies for each of us and paid $20

I would add .5 to my 3 stars just because the first bite was great, you could really taste the freshness of the ingredients and plusss its healthy.. but why oonly 3.5? Its because i finished almost half of the sandwich and i kid you not i probably had 3 pcs of steak and when i kept diggin into the sandwich probably at least 4 more pcs and that was it which was kind of disappointing if you love your meat. I had the backyard bbq steak. Same comment from my husband he barely had chicken on his. If i wanted to order veggies only i would have gotten the salad, but i wanted my meat. They have an option to double the meat for an added price..hmmm... no thanks.

Tried it out for the first time...the food was okay nothing really stood out flavor wise. The place was quite loud and felt cramped. Luckily we went while they were having a half off pita sale. So we didnt have to pay full price

Great flavor and my husband and I enjoyed what we ordered. However, getting the order down was kind of a giant fiasco. My husband is allergic to eggs and I gluten. We usually look up allergy menus online before trying a new place to see what we can eat ahead of time, however, the allergy menu on their website was down. So we decided to just go and get some stuff to go. My husband went with out two year old and it took him about 15 min to order because they had NO CLUE what was in their food. Their allergy menu was for the restaurants in Canada and none of the items on the allergy sheet matched what was on the menu here at this location. It was a nightmare. I'm sure if I wasn't at home with our baby waiting for food my husband would have said forget this and gone somewhere else. He sucked it up and ordered the best he could but we probably won't be back. If you don't value not killing me, I don't value giving you my money.

Must try! Went in three times and they all treated me like they personally knew me. Got to talk to the owner and his wife. They are so sweet! They don't have any ego or anything. I would've never guessed they were the owner if they didn't tell me. It is definitely worth the money. I'm so sick of eating out because it's heavy and/or expensive but I gotta say, this place will fill you but you will not feel like you ate junk. I'm definitely going to be their normal customer from now on! Thank you so much for such a great service. It's exactly what Tracy needed ... something good and healthy that's not so expensive.

This place serves the most wholesome and yummy meals. The pitas are not just delicious but satisfying and healthy! There are enough options for vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians too. Their cheese pizza for kids tastes super delicious on the pita bread. Along with the food, the service is great too. The smiling staff is ready to take care of you all the time. I would highly recommend this place for your meal choice if you are interested in quick, wholesome, healthy and delicious options.

This place was amazing! So delicious, clean and very friendly! It was our first time and they took the time to explain the menu. Definitely coming back! They can make any order into a salad if you don't want the pita... Highly recommend.

Some of the sexiest service in town. Good food, the store deserves to be bigger with how much customers come in and out every day. Very clean, the service was great. Even with the line out the door, the woman taking my order was very nice and took time to make sure my complicated order was met to perfection. It's hard to find restaurants like this one in Tracy, so seeing this was a breath of fresh air. 4 out of 5 though, not enough live bears in the store.

Congratulations Tracy you finally have a healthy option to eat at. I'm from San Francisco and only go Tracy to visit relatives. Every visit is a struggle to find healthy take out food. Thank you extreme pita for filling that void.

Looking for something new on a lazy night and saw reviews for Extreme Pita. Their selection is minimal and I still had a fun time trying to make a decision. The price is reasonable and they make it right in front of you. Definitely flavourful and delicious. I went with the Hercules, their take on the traditional gyro. My only complaint is that the meat in my gyro was slightly over cooked and a bit dry. Other than that, I enjoyed my meal. Looking forward to trying more items from their menu.

Awesome food and awesome service. It was our first time, and we had a fantastic experience. The owner or manager (or so we assumed) helped us and was very thorough in explaining the menu and how each pita is made. We ordered the hercules, backyard bbq steak, and buffalo chicken. They were all scrumptious. This is exactly what Tracy needs; healthy, fresh, and delicious. If I could critique anything, I would say I wish they had a pizza flavored pita chip and I think their pita chip display could use some green paint to make it stand out more (we almost missed out on them because we didn't notice them). Also, we grabbed a menu which displayed different Purfresh drinks than they were serving. I had the mango pineapple and it was good, but the ones in the menu sounded amazing- I wish the menu either said "seasonal" or "changes" or something like that, or I wish I could have had the drinks in the menu. Overall great, we WILL be back.

So excited to have a new fresh food joint in Tracy! Staff was great, a few seemed a little stiff...but I know it just opened, so I don't expect much. Food was great! Little shy on the meat, but overall it's good food. Very clean place too!

Great place to get food. Great service. Very fast. Highly recommend the double Philly cheese steak sandwich. But add Chipotle sause to it to make it that much better. FYI the Chipotle is more zesty than hot. Enjoy!!!!! OK I have been seeing some off these other post and for the people who gave 1's get off your high horses. If you order $50 worth of food and its $7 a pitta your clearly ordering food at the wrong place, go buy pizza to feed your family of 15. If your your picky about what you eat and are allergic to mostly everything. Don't try eating at new places, people need to run a business to provide for their families they don't need to be dealing with hypochondriac's, or people with their weird food allergies. Lastly if you have never had a pitta before or just don't like them. Don't go to a pitta place to eat, pittas! Everyone have a good day. P.S if you disagree with my post, well you can go pound salt for I care. =)

Their service is amazing, but there food does not suit my personal preference. All the food that they serve here is really healthy. If you are a health nut or on a diet and looking for a good restaurant this is for you!

My husband and I gave this place a try and I'm glad we did. Tracy lacks good quality and healthy restaurants that aren't chains so we were excited to see Extreme Pita open recently. I had the Mediterranean Veggie and my husband, the Chicken Pita. We got regular sizes but they're quite large so next time we'll probably buy the small. Also, eating it was a little messy as the veggies pulled out of the pita - not sure this is how it's supposed to be or if the employee didn't get the stuff in the proper way. I agree with other reviews saying that the extra sauce runs a little high at 69 cents because the container is super small and it should really be included if you buy drinks or the portion should be a bit bigger. It's a light meal if your tired f the same old greasy burgers and want something tasty.
