Just left , my husband made reservations for dinner. The staff was very friendly however.. the food was not at all worth the $120 we spent! Steak was underseasoned, Lamb was over cooked and lacked flavor, my $9 sangria was not good. Tje salaf bar was just okay. The Bacon chicken was really good as were the cheese rolls. I definitely would not recommend going here unless it's at lunch time for $25 a per vs $50

I went to Flame and Fire last Saturday. It is a great restaurant. The food is excellent and th service is top notch. It is expensive but worth the money.

It was my first time eating here. Actually, my first time ever having Brazilian BBQ. The service was phenomenal and there was not a single thing that disappointed me. The food just keeps coming, drinks are always refilled, and everything tastes amazing. Would recommend this to everyone. Some people say it is Pricey, but you're paying for the great food and service! This is a classy place, love the aura and everything about it. I will definitely be returning.

I had mixed feelings going into this restaurant partially because of the movie "bridesmaid" and because of the hefty price. Lunch 25 dinner 45 We had a party of 6 for lunch on a Saturday and we were able to make reservations. The decor surprised me-- much nicer than I imagined. Especially cause this restaurant is located in small shopping center with limited parking. So I was expecting more an "Olive Garden" type feel. No cheesy decor here. Our server, Ashley, was informative and attentive throughout our entire meal. She explained the process and directed us to the salad bar before the meat procession began. 5 stars for her! I found the salad bar to be underwhelming for lunch. They had a simple Cesar mix, broccoli and corn salad to name a few. A small variety of cheese and meats. I found the warm food at the salad bar to be pretty tasty, namely the beans and rice. I could've just eaten that! I appreciate they have 2 types of black beans: one with and without meats. I imagine if you're dining here you would opt for the former. The meat selection for lunch included bottom sirloin, top sirloin, pork tenderloin, chicken wrapped in bacon, chicken Parmesan, garlic steak, and lamb to name a few. I found all the meats to be moist and very hot. I appreciate that they can take accommodations if you want a meat cooked a specific way. We were seated in the corner right by the kitchen, which proved to be a pro and con. We got the meat fresh and hot. Huge plus! Our table was circular but tables are close to one another so at times the meat carvers couldn't reach me in the back of the table because of the wall and neighboring tables. Same issue goes for when I wanted to go to the salad bar. I just didn't appreciate the formation of the tables especially since the point of a Brazilian steakhouse is so the servers can walk through easily to serve you. There was cheese bread, fried banana and friend polenta sticks served to the table too! Stick around for the roasted pineapple. It's covered in cinnamon sugar and served warmed! Life changing. The staff was so friendly and attentive! From the bussers to the meat carvers. Ashley checked in multiple times and took requests if we wanted a specific type of meat! I don't know if I would splurge for dinner--I'd need to save my pretty pennies. The lunch meat selection was plenty for me! I love the interactive-ness of the meal. You can eat as much or as little as you'd like at your own pace!

An excellent dining experience! So glad to get a place like this close to home. We had a great time from beginning to end. Made a reservation for earlier afternoon, didn't really need it as it didn't get busy until a bit later. Our server was great. She explained the whole process of how the the dinner works. It is like a constant flow of meat arriving at your table! They give you coaster looking things we red and green to let the meat servers know when you are ready for more meat. I didn't think I would put the red side up but they are not skimping on the portions nor do you have to wait long between meat skewers arriving; so the "stop sign" did come out often. If you have the green side up get ready cause the meat is coming. They will respect the red marker, but will let you know if they have a new meat on the skewer and they had lots of meats. They had more skewers than I can describe but a few of my favorites were the garlic steak, bacon wrapped chicken and ribs. They have a bbq pineapple skewer that you have to try! I am not a big hot pineapple fan but this was a whole different level! The pasta /salad bar was amazing. So many options I will have to go back to just get through them. I am not talking just some lettuce here. I am talking figs, Caprese Salad, fine cheeses and of course many different pastas and salad options. They have an option to get just the salad bar for $29 which I would actually consider. The dinner with all the meat skewers rolling by and the salad bar is $45 per person and based on the quantity you receive and the super tasty quality of everything it is a good deal. It is not a place to come for a snack it is a dining experience. They do have a happy hour which I will have to further investigate and a lunch option which could be fun for a smaller feast. I had a Brazilian rum cocktail which was very good; the passion fruit tea was also very good. The desserts looked tasty also. We tried the Papaya cream which was delicious. I will definitely be returning!

First time experience. Loved it! Everything from the Latin style salad options to All of the delectable meats sliced thin at our table!! It was truly awesome and we will definitely be back! The passion fruit mousse was to die for! All I can say is OMG!

Food was pretty good.. With the exception of the chicken and pork both were dry. Service was not good...The bill was given to us before we were finished eating and the few items we requested were never received. It's too bad the concept is really cool and decor/music is nice. We won't be back.

This place was delicious. The service was great. I was impressed with the food because I been to another place like this and it was no good. The cheese roll was on fleek. Pretty fancy place. Price isn't to high. 45 dollars per person . Also there is a salad bar.

This place is a bit tucked away so for 9pm on a weekend i expected a bigger crowd but it was quiet. Got seated next to the salad bar which made our start pretty easy. However this place is deceptively big. Bar area with a dining area, the salas bar area, a private dining room...the restrooms are in a maze all the way to the back. Our server was super nice and gave us the rodizio spiel up front. Salad bar a lot of things, a few pastas, cheese selections, cold cuts, salads..but make sure you control yourself there. Fried banana/polenta and pao de quiejo come out too. Chicken drumettes with parmesan, chicken wrapped with bacon, bottom sirloin, garlic steak, filet mignon, filet wih bacon, parmesan pork, garlic pork, linguica, lamb chops, leg of lamb, picanha, and pineapple all eventually came out. For the most part every medium rare piece was well cooked and seasoned. I think only once instance where we got a drumette and a slice of picanha that was over. As we were one of the last groups, they came at us furiously at the end and we were well fed, with ever server being super nice. As these places go it's a pretty good deal and they treat the carne with respect. If you enjoy protein heavy this is it.

I had a nice dinner here during the busy holidays. Its a different type of set up than most restaurants. If you are a meat eater you are in hog heaven. If you are a vegetarian (like myself) you have a massive salad bar to choose your dinner from. The salad bar has an attendant, who freshens the food and cleans things up. I was sitting a spot where I could glance up see her. The meat comes around on these big skewers .I forget what restaurant used to be here, but I remember going to here years ago and it was something different. It is all changed now. Simple décor but with style. Nice servers, attentive. Good food and I believe a full bar. They specialize in Brazilian cuisine, so if you want something different give them a try.

If it weren't for a fabulous server and a few really good and unique salads, our first impression would be a complete disaster. Forget that the restaurant was as boring as the strip center it's in. The place needs life ... maybe a strolling Brazilian musician. But if the reason people go is for the unlimited and wide variety of meats, forget it. There wasn't a single meat that my family wanted a second time. And we're big meat eaters! One of us came for the two types of lamb and he didn't like either. Neither did the rest of us. The lamb tasted like it was boiled. As a stew, great. But served chima style, ugh. Even more shocking is it should have been clear to the manager that we weren't happy, and he never even came by. He just stood far away doing who knows what. Either management is clueless or cowardly. Didn't even get a "thank you" or "goodbye" when we left, other than from server Aryanna, who is way too good for this place. How this place is run, and at those prices, I can't see it surviving even if it moved to downtown or midtown, where hopefully there'd be more life inside. As it is now, in a Roseville strip center and with poor execution of what should be a great concept, this place will die like the sacrificial lamb on our plates. Obviously, we won't be back.

You must prepare to come to Flame and Fire. We've been twice now, and the second time, I made sure both of us came really really hungry. I had a hearty breakfast and snacked a little bit at work, but the last bit of food to pass my lips was at 11:30 a.m. It paid off later, even though I regretted it later in the afternoon as I counted down the hours until we could go to Flame and Fire. The price tag is enough to make sure that I get my money's worth, and indeed, it's worth it. The service is very good. Our server actually remembered us from the first time we came, and that was in November. (I write this in March). Tip: Don't load up on the appetizers and salad. You will want to, but you need to consider your devotion to meat even more. I knew better, but I definitely did snag a handful of brussels sprouts, a little bit of cheese and a couple of slices of meat -- prosciutto and salami. Another tip: Get the pineapple every time it comes around, preferably stuff that is still golden and has been on the flame (as opposed to after all the good stuff has been sliced off as the gaucho goes around). It's all carmelized and sugary and delicious. I don't care if you're stuffed. Get the pineapple. Trust me on this. Here's something I didn't know: Our server noticed I still had my green yes tag out long after my spouse had given up. "Is there something you're still waiting for?" I was really hoping for one last round of pineapple and filet mignon. So my server put in a request for the gaucho chefs to bring those by. Well worth it and it gave me more time to get more room in my stomach. Things I didn't like: I didn't try it this time, but I didn't like the pork and parmesan or whatever it was. Too dry. Don't be afraid to pass up stuff for what you really want, either. I also tended to stay away from the chicken for the same reason. However, the bacon-wrapped chicken was delicious and moist and plus *bacon!* Another thing I loved: The little cheesy dough balls served as appetizers/palate cleansers, as well as the fried banana and cornmeal. So good. Because this place is expensive, it's probably a special occasion sort of place. Unless you can manage to make it for lunch (which has a more limited selection, apparently, but I've never been. And frankly, whatever the meat selection, you're still going to have more than enough). I'd definitely recommend making a reservation. We tried a walk-in the week before we went this weekend, and were told it would be an hour and a half. The seating is fairly limited here, so it pays to plan ahead. This sort of place takes a while as you try to stuff yourself with delicious, delicious meat. The one very vaguely disappointing experience we had from the first time we went (in November) was it was for my birthday, the day of, in fact. My spouse had told them that when making the reservation, but I got no happy birthday song. And we saw at least two other people get sung to that same night. Oh well. This time around -- no special occasion -- was special enough. We enjoyed splurging a little bit on ourselves.

Came here for a family dinner, which is much for overpriced for what you get. Good experience but would not come here again. I'd maybe go for lunch... The salad bar is alright... there's a mix of pasta salads, fresh greens, charcuterie, and fruit. There's also bean and rice for people who actually want to pair up their meat. The meat was too inconsistent and sometimes it was nicely flavored and then other times it wasn't. The only things that were good were the lamb, the bacon wrapped chicken, and some special cut that the waiter couldn't describe. The grilled cinnamon pineapple was also good, though something I could make myself.... The garlic steak, filet mignon, and the sirloin were not good. They were too dry and lacked flavor. It's a nice looking restaurant, but the execution was just not there given the price per person.

UPDATE... Took my daughter here for a date-lunch. The food was great, however the service sucked and they were out of Guarana...again! What type of Brazilian restaurant runs out of Guarana?! This is the second time this has happened too. Now to the service...we were seated and we had a short, young gentleman (with stupid hair) as a waiter. He took our drink orders and that was it. A different waitress in another section noticed we hadn't been given the bread, polenta, and plantains, so she brought them over. She also ended up refilling our drinks throughout the meal. Towards the end of our lunch, our original waiter came over and asked how everything was and if he could get us anything else. I asked for the check and ended up tipping him very poorly. I kept a look out for the waitress who actually waited on us and was going to tip her, but she never came by before we left. I wish this place was more consistent!!!!

I've been in many different Brazilian barbecue restaurants in the USA and abroad, the last one was Fogo de Chao in Vegas. I just didn't fell comfortable with the service, some of the gauchos weren't very friendly. Food was good, just took long time to serve the meat. Maybe be back someday.

This place is very nice. The salad bar is great. The all you can have various types of meat and chicken is a meat eaters dream come true! Went with a party of 10 and was tooken care of! Recommend the roasted pineapple, fried banana and highly recommend a shot of 1942 chilled Tequila!!!

The place is empty and the host won't seat us because everything is reserved??? Clearly people aren't showing! They only get to keep stars for their food. What an awful way to treat customers. We were a small party of 2 and a kid also.

We've been wanting to try this local Brazilian steakhouse for a while and we're not disappointed. You absolutely need to make a reservation. They were turning folks away who didn't have one. The salad bar was pretty extensive with a wide variety of different sides to go with the variety of meats that came around to your table. Be careful not to fill up on these or you will run out of stomach room for the meats. The Brazilian potato salad was my favorite. My favorite meats were the Parmesan chicken and pork, the sausages and the house specialty...sirloin. You also need to make sure you get some of the grilled pineapple...sweet and tasty. They also have a full bar and a very simple wine list with a good variety of wines to choose from. The wait staff was a little slow but the meat servers were speedy and we never ran out of meat on our plates. It's a little pricey ($45/person) so my advice is the not eat anything for a few hours prior so you go there hungry and get your money's worth. God knows we did.

A wonderful date-night experience,on the pricey side but very flavorful, fresh, and plentiful. The room is elegant, and feels spacious without booths (all tables/chairs). The wait staff is very attentive, and respectful. You pay one price, and get the all-you-can-eat salad and side dish "bar", along with roasted meats. The bars offered a large selection of cold dishes, as well as a few warm. I really enjoyed the pulled pork in a gravy, and black beans, both served over white rice. All of the cold dishes were fresh, and perfect compliments to the meat. As for the meats, we went for dinner, and it seamed like we had 5 varieties of beef (all A's), 3 chicken (the bacon-wrapped version was A), a sausage (flavorful, not spicy), lamb, and pork ribs (they were a little sweet). Again, it's all you can eat, so pace yourself, and don't be afraid to pass on something you don't really want. My suggestion would be to get a glass of your favorite, bold red wine, and pair your meats, side dishes, and wine in a slow, enjoyable evening of indulgence. Although the room was full, we had a reasonably quiet, romantic dinner visit.

The food was awesome, the waitresses were very attentive. Food came out quick, they said it was kinda slow for a Friday night. Everything was tasty especially the grilled pineapple. Only issue is dress code said business casual and there were people in jean shorts and tennis shoes! Kinda left my husband and I feeling overdressed.

Came here for a work dinner and the good news is that the meat service was excellent, the meat was great as well too. The salad bar was great, and as long as you remember not to pile it up on your plate, you'll have plenty of room for the meat that they bring out. The standout of the whole night though was easily the pineapple. Get the pineapple. It's got this awesome cinnamon/sugar taste that kids love... wait, I mean it's got this awesome cinnamon/sugar crust on it, and it was easily the best thing I had there all night, which considering how awesome the rest of the food was, is really paying a huge compliment. I'll be back. Save me some pineapple.

We went last Tuesday for my birthday for dinner. I made reservations and we were seated right away. Here's why this place earned their 3 stars... 1. Friendly meat servers. They were prompt and had a great sense of humor. 2. Amazing salad bar. The choices were great. 3. Grilled pineapple. The cons. Wait staff. Our waitress worked in half the restaurant on her own. I wasn't sure if she worked on the other side, but she was very forgetful with the extra drinks we ordered and sides. My fiancée had told her it was my birthday when we got seated. A larger group came in about 15 minutes after us, and she had the whole staff sing for them when we were there first. I understand you automatically get 20% gratuity on 6+ parities, but you really made me, the ACTUAL birthday girl feel like crap for being ignored and forgotten. We ordered dessert just to see if she would take it off our bill/ discount it but she didn't. Next time PLEASE listen to your customers when they are making requests. I had an amazing birthday until the waitress ruined it at dinner.

A friend and I had dinner here at Flame & Fire in Roseville for the first time and it was definitely a great experience. I'm so glad we finally have a Brazilian steak house around the Sacramento area. We had reservations and were a few minutes late but they were very accommodating. I knew we should've taken it easy because their salad selection was so yummy we got pretty full off of it alone before even starting on the meats. We had to sit there for a bit to let the food settle down so we could really enjoy the rest of the meal. We like our meats pretty medium to well done and the waiter was so nice to have it cooked extra longer in the kitchen for us (their meats are normally cooked rare to medium so anything else more cooked just let them know and they'll bring it right out for you). We loved their bacon wrapped filet mignon (really flavorful and delicate), their picahna (marinade/rub was spot on), and their bacon wrapped chicken breast (the bacon was really crispy and really brought out the flavor of the chicken in the middle) was absolutely amazing. We wanted to try their chocolate mousse for dessert but they didn't have any that night so we opted for the tiramisu (not on their menu). My goodness, it was so moist and so good we practically were in lala land just enjoying the savory taste of it. Their entire staff is amazing; they all went way above and beyond to make sure everything was great for us. All in all we had a great time here. Would definitely recommend this place for a couple or a big group; you won't be disappointed. I will be returning soon.

GO FOR THE SHOW. This a unique eating environment that I really enjoyed. I'm sure there are other eating establishments like it but it's far from run of the mill. The food was different and good. I was impressed by the way they were able to pull a slice cooked just the way you like it off of a single skewer. And the tongs are a fun touch. Portions are such that you can try everything without over eating. My favorite was the bone in lamb chop. The salad bar was terrific. But don't make the same mistake I did. Some of the stuff I thought I'd like the most I thought was so-so and I really liked some of the stuff I didn't expect to like. But nothing knocked me out like so many other reviewers have said. I really wanted to love the bacon-wrapped chicken and their sirloin but I felt they didn't have a lot of flavor. And their waiters were attentive but there were a couple of times where we wanted one thing and they were serving other things. We waited a good ten minutes (maybe more) for the pineapple. Our waiters knew it and in fact they were becoming a bit embarrassed. Once when it finally came out it was consumed by other customers before it got to us. And be aware that it's not exactly all-inclusive. Desserts are extra and drinks are a bit on the pricey side. Although I will tell you their special Manhattan was incredible. (Made with rye I think they said.) Some tips: ~I would pass if what they're carving is the last little bit. Wait for something fresh from the kitchen. ~Don't let them stick you in the back room. There's way more ambiance out front. ~Don't try to eat everything in order. I mentioned waiting for pineapple. It came by our table several times before we were "ready" for it. Life is short. Eat the best first. ~Come as you are. You'll feel comfortable in anything from shorts to a tux. We saw it all. We were there on a Saturday evening at 6:30 (with reservations in April, 2015) and Carl seated us promptly. Wait staff was everywhere and always concerned about our comfort. I do recommend Flame & Fire for first timers. After that, it's up to you. But there's lots of competition from great restaurants if you're ready to spend 125 or more for 2.

Had NYE dinner here with my family. We all left extremely full and happy. Service was top notch; everyone went out of there way to ensure our every need was met. The salad bar had a nice selection and all the meats were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. My fav was the bacon wrapped chicken and filet. The boys loved the lamb. The pineapple was loved by all! Yum!! This was the kids first time at Brazilian and they were impressed. Hubs and I have been to others in Portland/Dallas and felt this was superior!

A great restaurant to impress your date. If you are a meat lover this is the place. Flame & Fire has a variety of BBQ meat and a great salad bar. Oh yeah, they have great dessert.

Absolutely great meal! Salad bar is best I have ever had. Grilled meats were amazing. House steak and bacon wrapped chicken were the best. Our table also loved the grilled pineapple. We even had dessert which I did not think we had room for. Flourless chocolate cake was spectacular. Our server Ari was also great. Will definitely be back. Far exceeded my expectations.

Visited this place tonight for Valentines Day. I'll start by saying that they may have been understaffed tonight, as they only had two servers for the entire place (at least from what I could see). With that being said, it took 15 minutes to get our drink order placed and for the server to let us know that we could just go to the buffet. Another 10 minutes to get our drinks (iced tea) and through my second refill and three requests to get the sweetener. All that aside, the food was very good. The salads and sides were all fresh and tasty, and every meat we tried was absolutely delicious. The bacon wrapped filet was especially good. Also, don't hesitate on getting some of the roasted pineapple. I'll definitely be visiting this establishment again to give them another chance at the server situation.

Very tasty but pretty pricey. I would only go for special occasions or when they have a Groupon special. They come to your table and carve off many delicious meats onto your plate. Since it's all you can eat, try as many meats as you can because they are all delicious!

I had always heard about the Brazilian Churrascaria style of dining with the red/green token system. As a glutton first and a carnivore second, this always intrigued me, but there was no place local to experience it. Now that Flame and Fire opened, I was finally able to. I have to say, I was not disappointed. I took my wife for dinner last week. At first, we left the green side of the token up for just about everything that came out. After sampling a little of everything, we became a little more selective. Some of the items were great (pretty much all of the beef) , others more meh (pork ribs, chicken parm). The lamb was not so good at all, unfortunately. The salad bar area was clean and fresh, with multiple tasty items to choose from. We left extremely full and happy. Can't wait to come back and eat myself into a coma again!

Served with a side of racism and will not go back. We had heard amazing things about this restaurant and after visiting one in LA were looking forward to the experience. Let me start off by saying I am a minority. After arriving we waited momentarily for the caucasian hostess who conveniently helped the individuals after us ahead of us. After this the hostess told her colleague to seat us. We did not have reservations but we could see there were 4 empty tables in the main dining room (which remained empty till we left) and more empty tables in the bar area. We were escorted past all the customers and around the corner from the restroom in a backroom with no other diners. I have experienced this before so it was not new to me. The individual that seated us told us our server would be right with us- then she came back and informed us we would not have a server and that she would be assisting us- it pained me to see how awkward she felt. To get access to the Salad bar we had to walk out of the room turn by the restrooms then turn into the dining room and walk past the diners instead of being sat at the tables that were 10 feet from the salad bar. Needless to say one trip was sufficient. We never received any of the amazing bread i had heard so much about and even the people carving felt very strange having to come to the back room- but when they did they were great and polite. Plenty of people walked in after us but they were promptly shown seats in the main room- so i got to eat my meal with no others diners and people going in and out of the restrooms. It was such a blatant display of racial discrimination that i lost my appetite after a while and paid my check and left. I did make sure to tell the individual serving us that even though i could tell she felt awkward she did an awesome job and the guys serving the meat were very polite. The bill was excess of $100 and i even left a tip- because it wasn't the fault of the servers. In all truth the meat I did get to sample was amazing and the salad bar was great. It is so disheartening to see such disparate treatment in this day and age especially in California.

Well...we can say...we've been there-done that. Craziest review because I give them 4 stars...but we won't be back. Food was too salty for our taste...but it was pretty good. They deserve the 4 stars...for the unique dining experience...and service was good...but it wasn't anything that will get us to go back a second time. It was money worth spending for the first time to check it out...but that's all.

This was my second visit to Flame & Fire. My first time here was on January 31, 2015 for my birthday. I was impressed then and I'm still impressed. My son, daughter, granddaughter and I came here to celebrate Mother's Day. The steaks were good as always. You can get them cooked any way you like from rare to well done. There is a wide variety of meat. Chicken, lamb, ribs. The salad bar is awesome. You definitely won't walk away hungry. What really impressed me was our server Arianna. She remembered us from our first visit and remembered each of our names. You don't get that in any restaurant. First class all the way. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone if you want excellent food, relaxing atmosphere and polite service.

This was a different dining experience than what I'm used to. My husband and I went here for a date night and honestly didn't know what to expect other than this place had great reviews on Yelp. We were surprised to not have a menu, just a drink menu. The waitress explained how everything works (all you can eat at the salad bar and the "gauchos" would bring various types of grilled meats on skewers for you to choose from). It was a fun experience and although our waitress advised us to go slow, we filled up fast. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to go with a group and have a long conversations and pick slowly at your food. You get more bang for your buck that way. I liked the banana "palate cleanser" that we were given to eat between meats. My only two dislikes about this place is that we were never given a menu up front, so we had no idea how much the all you can eat was ($45 per person). And a few of the meats were really salty, so I had to drink a ton of water during the meal. Otherwise, I would recommend this place. Decor was great and had a nice vibe to it!

Came for lunch and it was quiet and the food is great. Love the Parmesan chicken and garlic steak. Cheaper at lunch than dinner of course do plan accordingly. Take your time when eating and don't fill up in the salad bar.

To be honest, I'd never been to a Brazilian churrascaria before, but I'm so very happy I can now say I have! Flame and Fire is a unique and wonderful approach to steakhouse dining, and we loved it. It was a Sunday date night for my husband and I, and we wanted something different than our usual date spots, so I made a reservation for 8:00. I've had some Brazilian foods before, so I wasn't totally unaware of what to expect. We arrived and were seated promptly. Most of the tables were full, but our kind and friendly waitress was at the table instantly, ready to explain how the concept worked. We ordered drinks Caiparinha for me, Guarana Antarctica for my husband (the driver), and went to the "salad bar". Oh my. Oh my oh my oh my. That is so much more than a salad bar. What a fabulous selection of cheeses, meats, salads, hot and cold dishes, everything was wonderful. I won't even begin to try and list all the delicious salads and edibles I tried, but I know that everything I tried was delicious, and I barely put a dent in trying everything, that would just be impossible. Back at the table, we flipped our cards over to the green "Yes" side, and the meat began to arrive. We were asked how we usually like our meat cooked (rare to medium rare, of course) and the servers were very attentive to bring cuts that were cooked as we liked. We had chicken, lamb, filet mignon, bone in lamb chops, sirloin, more lamb, more filet, more lamb.......It was a swirl of deliciously grilled meats, all hot and juicy and perfect. My favorite was the bone in lamb, it was amazing. We had no room left in our burgeoning stomachs to try dessert, but the heavenly grilled pineapple that came around, plus the mouthwatering fried bananas they bring to the table, sufficed for that "something sweet" after all that glorious meat. Although, I hear the desserts are delicious, but I'll have to save that for next time. And yes....there most definitely WILL be a next time.

Went there last night. We went to a Brazilian steakhouse in seattle 3 months ago, and it was way better then this. The salad bar was 3 times the size, and more fresh. Also, flame and fire had about 7 different meats, seattle had 16. Same price, less then half the selection of meats and 1/3rd of the fresh salad bar. Was not inpressed. Some of the meat was way overcook as well. Overall food was good, but at 45 bucks a person, will not be back. Also, in laws went here and they had a table which had 2 kids next to them. Kids had out their d's gameboy, playing at full volume. For 45 bucks a person, leave your dam kid at home or teach them respect. We had a baby next to us, but the second she cried the parents calmed her down, or left the table. That was polite of them.

Went for the first time last night- So much meat!!!!!!! Loved it- you can get full real easy unfortunately, because you want to try everything and not miss out on anything. Wasn't crazy about the cheese tapioca biscuits- but service was great. If we had't had alcohol I think the price would have been more reasonable. Spendy if you plan on drinking.

I am a huge fan of Brazil churrascaria style dining. This place is immaculate, classy and from the time we entered until we left, the service was first class all the way! The food does not disappoint. The salad bar was stocked with more fresh offerings than I could count. I especially loved the variety of cheeses. The meat was excellent! My favorite was the pork loin but I have nothing bad to say about the 10 other meats that never stopped landing on my plate. Overall you get more than just food here for your $45, you get a great dining experience!

Here's the gist of it: arrive starving, fill up on tons and tons of mouth-watering meat that is carved at your table until your stomach can't handle any more and you're forced to turn over the "no thanks" card. Of course the restaurant wants you to fill up on bread and the mediocre salad bar first. Fillers. That's for amateurs. Save your space for the filet mignon! The meat is delicious. The rest of the "stuff" (cocktails, salad bar, bread) are mediocre. The price is high! Service is decent. It was a fun place to try, but for the price I'd much rather dine somewhere else.

First of all, due to the mixed reviews, I came here with very little to no expectations at all. With that in mind, I was able to enjoy this different kind of dining. TIP: Best to try with a large group and make reservations for early lunch. FOOD: The salad bar was small but it had some hearty selections. Meat was served by servers coming around and putting small pieces on your plate. It's fun sampling everything. I was not a fan of their sausage, bacon wrapped chicken, Parmesan chicken, and pork tenderloin - all were very dry. I didn't care for their lamb either. However, I did like their beef selections. The bread they serve was warm and yummy. Everyone at our table loved the fried bananas and grilled pineapple. SERVICE: Staff were all friendly. We were at the first table and all meats that came out we got to try first. This is why it's good to come in a large group. I can see why it's a bad thing if you're seated towards the end. However, they do come out often so you can get your fill. VALUE: $25 for lunch. Kids 7 and under is free! With the amount of beef we consumed, it's definitely a good value. However, for $45/dinner, I would rather go to a traditional steakhouse. Soda $3. Their flan for $8 is way overpriced for such a small serving. Come with an open mind and you may just end up liking it.

I took the family here for a celebration. My experience will mirror some of the other reviews. This is a very nice looking restaurant. The outside, which is in a strip mall, is fairly bland. The inside, is very classy looking. The hostess greeted us immediately, and was very friendly. The waitress came right to the table, and explained the process to us. The salad bar is very well done. I saw other reviews that comparing it to low grade chain restaurants. That was far from my experience. The dishes were very well prepared, and very tasty. So far, so good. Here is why I am giving a 3 star review. The meat coming out was just so slow. Additionally, they started at the first table every time. So, if you were near the back of the restaurant it took a long time to get your meat. As other reviews have noted, the servings are very small - barely a mouthful. We only saw 4 or 5 cuts of meat in the 45 minutes we were seated. I had no issues with the flavor or tenderness of the meat, until the last selection. It was announced as their house specialty. It tasted spoiled. $45 a plate is high end in Roseville. It should be a five star experience the entire way through. My family and I all agree that the hype was not worth the cost.

Great dining experience. We went here for date night. The prime rib was my favorite. My second favorite was the pineapple. I enjoyed it all. The salad bar that comes with dinner was fantastic and had lots of interesting items. We enjoyed the hearts of palm. The salad bar only option could be a well rounded meal including chicken and fish. Our server was very attentive. Overall an great experience. We will go back for sure. It's a relatively small place. Reservations are a good idea for peak times. While we didn't sit outside, the outdoor seating looked really nice.

I don't understand why my review would be filtered but yea I came back to flame and fire and again, the best service and better than that the salad bar has more options I loved it. Keep it up guys great job

I've tried a Brazilian restaurant before in SF before a Giants game. I really was not dressed up for that place. I didn't pay too much attention to the restaurant but this time around I was really excited to try flame and fire. We had reservations, it's really nice. No wait. Our reservation was at 6:30. The place seemed very small. My friend said he tried making reservations on Valentine's Day and it was all booked up. He said he could see why because there were only 10 tables. Clearly he was exaggerating. But when I got up to use the restroom there's a whole other side and a private room right next to it. It is fine dining I think? The price isn't too high, for an all you can eat meal. Just $45. How it works. You have a waiter, he or she asks you what you'd like to drink. The menu consists of desserts, drinks, and prices for adults and children for dinner and lunch. After you tell her what you want to drink, she gives each of you a card that says yes on one side and no on the other. A person will come by with meat, if your card is facing up he'll ask if you want meat. If the card no side is up they'll just skip your table ( it means you want to slow down or you're full) in the mean time while you're waiting for the guys to walk by with meat you get up and go to the salad bar. There's all types of salads and sides. Entrees of Brazilian dishes and rice. They cook their meat medium rare or well. They'll ask which one you want or if you want both you can do that. There's a lot of steak, Rib eye, filet, a few chicken, and sausage. Oh and lamb. After a while the same ones come out. The chicken was dry. Meat was good. Don't get well done, my own opinion, it's hard. My friend said the taste of lamb was different. I ended up getting the papaya cream for dessert and it was actually really good. Oh yes, I got the Brazilian soda, it tasted like cherry sprite with a splash of coke. Eh. My friend felt like his friend over hyped this place because it was ok. I was still hungry, but I didn't want to keep eating the same small pieces every time someone came by. But they do come by often. Oh btw: try the cooked pineapple! So good!!!! It's sweet. We got cheese bread in the beginning. They also dropped off three plates of sides, didn't know what they were because the person that dropped it off didn't really tell us what they were or maybe she did but was quiet about it. Would I come back? Mm I think I will if I'm in the area and I want the experience again because the food wasn't bad.

I had dinner with my family here (six people) and everyone seemed to find something that they enjoyed - There were some pretty good choices in the buffet and everyone really liked the grilled pineapple in particular! The place was a bit expensive though and it did not have as many options as Fogo De Chao (the only other Brazilian place I have been to for comparison). So for the location, and for not having as many choices, I would have thought it should have been a bit cheaper. Otherwise, I had a good experience overall :)!

WOW!!!!!!!!! What an experience The meat is delicious and it all melts in your mouth! All you can eat, great service, and such a fun experience! Sim, Por Favor! This was a great place for my large party too! They have a private room in the back for private parties!

If you have never been to a Brazilian BBQ restaurant, now is your chance! Flame & Fire is located on Pleasant Grove Blvd. in Roseville a few clicks from the Roseville Galleria. One complaint I have is that the shopping center that houses this restaurant was full of cars last night and hardly a place to park. Upon entering the restaurant I realized why. This restaurant was completely filled in their main dining room with the exception of one large table that was reserved for my family. We were celebrating my only daughter's birthday. She had chosen this restaurant to dine on her special day because this was a return visit for her. They also have a private room to accommodate probably close to 30 people. Once we were seated our gracious server informed us about the lavish salad bar that was included in the $45 all-you-can-eat price per person which also included all the meats available. Children's prices are lower according to their age. There is also a salad bar only option, apparently for vegetarians. She then explained the card in front of each of us that had "Yes" on one side and "No" on the other. This was to inform the servers whether or not we wanted them to serve more meats, which were soon upon us. The dining room was filled with male servers with carving knives and carrying large skewers of various barbecued meats, sausage, sausage wrapped in bacon, parmesan chicken, pork sirloin, spareribs, bottom and top round steak, lamb chops, and filet wrapped in bacon. Also, barbecued pineapple which was delicious. One by one, the servers would appear next to us asking if we wanted them to carve us whatever they had directly on to our plate. Have to mention that they also had fried polenta and plantain delivered to us. This was truly an "all you can eat" dinner but with a different approach. You could have seconds, thirds, and even fourths, without having to get out of your chair. The meats were all delicious and tender and the salad, what little I had, was also very good. The service was excellent because our main server was always there asking us if we needing anything else. We had a table of 10 which included 4 children, 15 and under, so our needs were numerous. The management also went a step further and presented my daughter with a complimentary flan dessert with accompanying happy birthday decorated ice cream sundae, a nice touch! So, if you are interested in a classy, but casual, dining experience and are in the Roseville area, try this restaurant. I am sure you will not be disappointed. BTW, we had a 6pm dinner reservation on Sunday, so get there a little earlier if you want a parking space.

The meat was pretty good, but not great - sad face - salad bar was pretty good - service was terrible - they say you can ask for meat to order, but it takes forever, if you don't want well done meats - We had drinks at the bar, and then given water after we were seated, then she left us and never took drink orders - i waved her down and ordered a beer - 25 minutes later I went to the bar to see my beer waiting while she talked to the bartender, IN AN EMPTY BAR - She still didn't get a clue and ask the rest of our large party if they would like something to drink - Really strange - It was a fun experience, great friends, but not anywhere near worth the $$$$$

We came back for lunch today and it was a enormous disappointment. Flame and Fire is still gorgeous inside, but the food is not nearly as good as the place looks. The lunch salad bar was good with many choices including some hot food items like lasagna, stroganoff and creamed corn. The creamed corn was delicious and I had several helpings of it. Like dinner, the staff brought out a selection of carved meats: bottom sirloin: decent flavor but very chewy house special top sirloin: the best cut of meat at lunch okay flavor garlic sirloin: was tough even though it was rare bacon wrapped chicken: the chicken is meatball sized which makes it dry, that being said it is still my favorite item here. pork sausage: blah parmesan chicken wings: pretty good, not over cooked but cheese and chicken is not for everyone leg of lamb: overcooked and gamy pork loin: overcooked tasted like cardboard in your mouth grilled pineapple: We were served a core that had been coated with the sugar and cinnamon and grilled! We were there for an hour with only a few other tables there and even though we had requested more pineapple when the server finally came out he brought another CORE and went to a different table which took all of it. Since we had appointments to attend to we asked for our check. Our waiter advised that the other table had requested pineapple as well. I informed him that what we were brought was INEDIBLE. He said he would get the manager but it was too late for that. The meat quality at Flame and Fire is the worst I have had out of five different Brazilian Steakhouses. I was hoping for improvement in their meats since our first visit but as far as I can see it has gotten worse. Never would I imagine a server coming out of a fancy expensive Brazilian Steakhouse with a pineapple core seriously all of the pineapple flesh had been cut off and all that was being served was a square pineapple core, not once but TWICE! We will NEVER come here again. If you want a real Brazilian Steakhouse experience please drive to the bay area.

Hmmm... I literally just came back from a friend's graduation BBQ and had a much better meal. But, we came for the experience and can now cross it off of our list. I think my favorites were the lambchop and filet mignon. I didn't even bother wasting precious stomach space for the chicken or pork sausages. Don't get your hopes up for signature sauces, because they only have A1, tabasco, and horseradish. It's too bad there is no dessert included in the $45 dinner price. They also don't do anything for birthdays, even though they ask about it when you make your reservation.

What an amazing experience. We brought my parents here last night for Father's Day and it was such a fun experience. Let me start off by saying, Yes this place is very expensive. For 4 people it's $200 before any drinks, desert or tip. Was it worth the money? Absolutely!! We made a reservation for 7:00pm. When we got to the restaurant we were seated right away. **TIP** Asked to be seated on the right hand side of the restaurant near the salad bar. The restaurant is beautiful and has a nice atmosphere. Our server Brian was very friendly and attentive. We brought our own wine since they only have a $15.00 corkage fee. I was surprised at how quiet it was. The place was full but we were able to carry a conversation without yelling which I really appreciated. The Salad Bar-AMAZING. The offerings are far from your typical salad bar. The salads are unique. They also offer a large variety of cheese, sliced meats and mozzarella. The rice and beans are delicious. I also loved the Grape Salad. The Sides-You are given 3 all you can eat sides. Polenta-really not that great. It was almost stale tasting. Cheese Bread- one of my favorite things from dinner. They are warm little rolls of bread. They are so cheesy and gooey in the middle, it was amazing. Fried Banana-My favorite. They tell you to eat it in between meats to help clean your palate. They were so good I had them bring us more two or three times. The Meat-This is really why you come to Flame & Fire. Gauchos carry a variety of fire roasted meats. They slice the meat at your table. The Picanha was my favorite. The seasoning is out of this world and it was so tender. The Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon was also delicious. The Garlic Steak was a little overly garlicy for me but I am sure it's a favorite among others. The Gauchos were incredibly friendly. When we wanted a certain type of meat they would make sure it would come to our table. We really wanted the Grilled Pineapple and asked a Gaucho to bring some and he did. I was really impressed with how attentive they were. The Grilled Pineapple and the Fried Banana make the most amazing desert. Overall, what an amazing experience. It is expensive but to be able to spend a special day with my family enjoying a delicious dinner, there really is no cost for such an experience. The service was amazing and the food incredible. We will absolutely be back and I can't wait.

This has to be one of the best restaurants in the 916. Atmosphere, service and food are all top notch. The food is hot, flavorful and abundant. Staff were attentive and truly committed to customer satisfaction. Our server Ariana seemed to be plucked from a 5 star Vegas restaurant. Carl, the manager, made frequent rounds through the dining area and seemed personally committed to every customers satisfaction. Everything was incredible. The fillet mignon, chicken, sirloin, pork, sausage... You will likely experience meat sweats like you have not previously experienced before. Can't say enough about this place. Try it!

As always to lay a foundation for my review, every review starts with 5 stars and one is taken off for every negative I experience. So let's begin. This was the first time we ate here. The place is clean and takes reservations which I like and for some unknown reason fewer and fewer places do these days. The hostess greeted us as soon as we walked in. We were sat at s nice table and the waiter came out and explained how the restaurant works. The salad bar was stocked. The hot plates were as well. This place is labeled Brazilian Steakhouse so I can scratch that off of my list of places to experience. This was not the restaurant for me. If you want a steak go somewhere else. Not the place to go if you want more than tasters. It almost felt like those microbrew places where you get the variety tasters. When the meat comes out they slice a piece so small it is nothing more than a bite or two. They have about 7 or 8 different kinds of meat offered so if there is one you really like it probably won't come around more than twice the whole time you are there. It is completely unlike any other restaurant I have been to before. The only thing I can compare it to is a very small buffet. So the reason for the three stars. First loss of a star is for the lack of meat. Like I said, they come around with skewers of meat slicing small pieces. So you only get a bite or two if they make it to your table. I was watching and every time the skewer of beef made it into the room the server would start at the same table. We were on the other side of the room so it was gone before making it to us most of the time. The pork and chicken made it to us but I wanted the sirloin. So that did not make me happy. Second loss of a star was for the price. $45 per person just for dinner no matter how much or little you eat. $45 per person for mostly cold salads and a couple warm sides. That doesn't include a drink either. That is by far the most I have ever paid for a buffet. Way too much. There is no way my wife or I ate $45 in food. We could have gone to an American style steakhouse, gotten more food and paid less. I don't know. Maybe it's a California thing to overpay for something. What we ate was ok. There are no complaints on the food. It is just not the place for me. We will not be returning.

Just got back from lunch with my coworkers and boss. I'm so full I can't move. This place never disappoint. Worth every penny. ( boss paid) Lucky us! I love how it's AYCE. I was definitely not embarrassed to go up for seconds and thirds at the salad bar. They got this beef Stragnoff that was pretty damn good. Goes well with the basmati rice that they also serve at the salad bar. We had to wait a lil before the meats came out. I guess it was still cooking. Didn't mind because I was enjoying the stuff from the salad bar. I had everything they brought out. I keep forgetting to flip my card to NO Red side up meaning no more, but had it flipped to Green almost the whole time. No wonder they kept coming by with meats. I barely finished what was on my plate. I think I went overboard. OMG...if you do come here please don't forget to try their grill pineapple. It is so good. Our waiter brought out the cheesy tapioca rolls, Polenta fries and fried banana last. I guess they ran out earlier and these were a fresh batch. We were so full at this point, wasn't sure how I was going to fit more in my stomach. Surprisingly, I did!

Came here for date night last Friday to try it out with some friends. I somewhat knew what to expect from reviews but was surprised to find that it was more fine dining than Hometown Buffet, hence the price. Decor is very fancy and classy. White table cloths. Our waitress was very friendly and informative who explained how it works. The tongs on the table are for you to help the Gauchos pick your meat off when they cut it which is pretty clever and liked that it made it more interactive experience. The salad bar had enough to have as a side which was fine because you want to fill up on the meat, not the salad. There was a cheese potatoe thing that looked good but found it to be horribly garlicky. There is a square cardboard disc that you put either Yes or No for if you want them to come by or not in which i dont think they paid much attention to because they kept coming even when are cards said no. We barely dug into our salad when the meat started coming fast and furious. I am talking 10 different meats in a matter of 10 mins. My plate was so FULL and I barely had a bite yet. The meat is very good grade/quality so that is what you are paying for. I found the filet mignon to be too pink but the top sirloin was the best. i had second helpings of that. Someone else commented that you just get bites which is true but I prefer that because I want to try everything. However if you want more than just a bite, they will give you more than one piece. The fried banana was not good to me. It tasted like a rotten banana and super slimey/mooshy so if you are a texture person, this dish is not for you. The pineapple is pretty darn good though. Its warm, sweet, and has a cinnamon coating. The one star I ding is for the chicken. All the chicken was rather dry and so was the ribs. The garlic steak was also too much garlic for me that it overpowered the meat. The $45 dinner price tag per person is steep but I understand it. Meat is not cheap and their overhead is probably high. I don't think I ate my money's worth as they say so I will probably not ever go back for dinner BUT i noticed on the menu that they service lunch for $25 with a little smaller selection of meats. That I could definitely do. While it is good food, you are paying for the "experience" just like any other form of entertainment.

So not worth the $45 a person.. Side dish bar was pretty good decent selection. Meat servers where extremely slow coming around and meat was very salty - pork was dry and hard to eat... could hardly eat more then a bit of everything. Lamb chops had a very off putting taste. Saw pineapple being served 5 times and never came to our table in corner next to bar. Ordered a beer took waitress 20 minutes to get.

What a fun and deliciously succulent experience! Such a great selection of cheeses and meats, veggies and greens, fruits and salads plus differing grains of rice. Then the awesomeness begins with the carvers coming around with the sword skewers top to bottom with these gorgeous glazed dripping portions of perfectly cooked meats or all kinds and cuts, plus bbqed pineapples. They have cards to flip with yes or no for them to slice you off a piece of meat or not, they will verbally ask you anyways just to be sure. Beautiful and well space and managed floor plan. Great service, beautiful waitresses and hosts with handsome servers and slicers. Nice atmosphere, even when it gets busy it doesn't get distracting loud. Wonderful first time experience and I will definitely be coming back for more!

I was excited when I walked in. The restaurant is beautiful, which is why it gets two stars. Service was awful. We are frequent patrons of Fogo de Chao and this place did not measure up. We had to ask for steak knives. We stacked our used plates at the end of the table and they were eventually picked up. We also had to get up and keep getting our own replacement plates. Not what I expected. Food was just ok. I was served steak and told it was medium. The steak was so well done it was unreal. Dry and hard is an understatement. I was then given a piece labeled "cooked" or medium well and that piece was medium rare. Some of the people in my group enjoyed the food. I did not. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

One star for the interior decor and another for the salad bar. Came in to try for the first time last night. Was impressed initially how the table was set-up--- had a fine dining feel to it. I ordered a glass of stella artois beer and it was served in a slim glass --- champagne?--- wasn't worth $6.50. Salad bar was good enough--- cold cuts, cheese, green leaves, leaves, asparagus, pickled artichokes, and more. There were also sides of rice, chicken stroganoff, etc. Then came the meats, after you've flipped the yes sign on your table to be served. There were bottom and top sirloins, lamb leg and chops, filet mignon wrapped with bacon and none, pork parmesan, chicken, garlic steak, pork sausage, and some others I can't remember. Good variety, right? --- nah--- they all tasted too salty. I should have picked the inner parts rather than the outer side, which would probably be less salty. They also serve bread, fried banana, and polenta as sides. We didn't want to pay more for dessert, so we opted to just have the grilled pineapple. It took them 20 minutes and 5 reminders for the pineapple to arrive--- wasn't worth the wait--- it was sour and coated with something sweet on the grilled side. For $45, I don't think it's worth it. I probably won't be coming back. I doubt if this place will last.

I was so excited to try this Brazilian BBQ. Love the location near the Galleria and stopped by with my parents after a long shopping day. Unfortunately, this place was just okay. The ambience is very nice and I can tell that they are attempting to mimic a common Brazilian BBQ chain *cough, Fogo de Chao. Servers are attentive; glasses of water refilled immediately; dirty plates replaced quickly; extra utensils given when dropped. I liked the extra bonus that most of the servers spoke Portuguese. My parents do, since they grew up in Brazil, and they had some conversations as the meat was sliced. One thing I really have to fault for this place was the fact that they only send out one cut of meat per round. Where my family and I were sitting, this meant that they would run out of meat before they ever got to our table. We would see the meat traveling through the right side of the room (with the salad buffet) and then travel through to about 3 or 4 tables before us, run out, and then they would just leave. So we actually sat there for about 35 minutes with no meat ever being brought to us. Not okay when you're paying a good amount for a BBQ buffet! We raised this issue with our main server who immediately rectified this and two rounds of meat were brought to us soon after. Then, they all forgot and we didn't get any more meat for another 20 minutes. It was frustrating! We didn't come here to eat salad. When we raised the issue again, the server apologized and the meat servers were more attentive afterwards. An easy solution would be to have some of the meats start on the left side of the room and some start on the right side. And then switch off so that both sides get the satisfaction of trying all of the meats. There were several times when the meat finally got to us, they'd ask, "Another round?" And we'd tell them that in fact, this was our first time even getting it, even though we'd be there over an hour. Some of the meat was good and some of it was okay. The sirloin had an extremely beefy taste to it and some of the garlic steak was overcooked into tough chewy zone. I did like the picanha and of course, cinnamon pineapple is always a win. Another surprising hit was the bacon wrapped chicken, since I don't really like bacon (yea, seriously. I know I just broke some foodie rule by admitting that). Really wanted to love this place. The staff means well but they have some kinks to work out. Or if they try to stick you on the left side of the restaurant, refuse.

Pricey, most definitely, but an amazing experience for an All-You-Can-Eat nonetheless. I don't get a lot of opportunities to try Brazilian cuisine in the area, let alone one that offers this much array of food, so I was really looking forward to this visit. Not what I expected as I walked in the door. More upscale than I imagined. The decor is sophisticated and classy. My casual shirt, shorts, and torn up Vans would've suggested otherwise. Needless to say, I was a bit underdressed. Service was still very welcoming. We were seated right away, and immediately greeted by our waiter who carefully explained how everything worked. The salad bar was plentiful -- 35 different types of gourmet salads, cold dishes, rice, and beans. It certainly had variety as you'll see in my photos, which I'll include. Cue in the Gauchos (meat carvers)! They brought in Chicken Wrapped in Bacon, Tri-tip, Lamb Chop, Pork Rib, Top Sirloin Beef, Parmesan Chicken, and Rotisserie Pineapple, among other things we didn't get to try b/c we were already too full (next time!). The whole course also included Brazilian side dishes, such as Fried Banana, Pao de Queijo (cheese bread), and Brazilian-style mashed potatoes, all of which were fantastic. I wish I had a larger stomach to accommodate seconds on each of those. Favorites -- lamb chops, cheese bread, fried bananas, and rotisserie pineapple. To top it all off, I tried their Papaya Cream dessert (blended ice cream & papaya, served with Cassis). The mixture was light and sweet, while the sauce added a grape-like, gourmet jam-ish flavor; a refined presentation and taste of an aesthetically and deliciously pleasing dessert. Must-try! Dinner: $45/person, $22.50 for ages 8-12

I have been looking forward to going to this place for a while, but I admit I was a bit turned off with the dinner price, $45, versus the cheaper $25 at lunchtime. However, I knew that if I was gonna go to this place, I wanted to go all out and try everything they offered, which I knew would be at dinnertime, not lunch. Well lucky me, my boyfriend took me here for dinner tonight! I've never been to a Brazilian steakhouse before so I wasn't familiar with the concept until I read some of the previous reviews on their Yelp page. I work at an AYCE Korean BBQ restaurant, so I am reviewing Flame & Fire in slight comparison to my own restaurant, due to the AYCE style. When I entered the restaurant I was immediately impressed! A friendly welcome, beautiful decor, calming atmosphere. It's a bit fancier than expected but luckily I was somewhat dressed the part. We were taken to the left side of the room, opposite of the salad bar room. Our server went over how the salad bar worked and how gauchos will come around after to serve us various types of meats, ranging from beef, pork, sausage, and lamb. There's a special card that each guest has, and you can flip it when you're ready to eat, or when you need to slow down and take a break. I thought that was a pretty neat idea and almost wish we had that in my own restaurant. About the salad bar - so many options!! The downside? There are no names or descriptions of anything. I tried everything solely off of looks... I would have gotten a little of everything if I could (and you can...it's AYCE!) but I didn't want to waste something if I didn't like it. This could be solved by simply putting names and a short description. It disappoints me a bit more now, because I want to share my favorite dishes from the salad bar, yet I don't know what they're called! Side dishes - They offer AYCE side dishes here also, aside from the salad bar. Cinnamon covered bananas, mashed potatoes, and pao de queijo (cheese bread). All were really good, and I wish I had room for seconds! Just a tip for the servers....don't take away the dish if it's not completely empty! Our potato dish still had about half a serving left which I had planned on eating, and she took it and brought us a fresh one. I'm sure most customers aren't complaining about something like that, and I'm not either, but for the restaurant's sake, don't waste if you don't have to! About the meat - Yum!! So many options!! You will see a lot of repeats throughout the night, which is good if you want more of your favorite options! I wish they had a list of the meats they are offering out on the table just so I could know if there were more meats coming out (should I save room?) or if I should start getting seconds on the ones that I liked most. It would also be helpful to have a written list because I couldn't quite understand what the gaucho was saying even when I asked him to repeat it. My favorites? Leg of lamb and the roasted pineapple! And I don't even like pineapple! Dessert - Ordered the papaya cream and the Flame and Fire ice cream. I wanted the traditional flan but they weren't serving it for the night :( The papaya cream was yummy! It was cold...like melted ice cream with papaya on top. However I probably won't order the Flame and Fire ice cream again. I'm not sure what flavor the ice cream was, but it was the only part I ate. It comes with a spoon of peach sauce on the side, which was hot, but a bit too sour for my taste. In the middle of eating the ice cream it tasted really hot which came from the two chilis that they place on top.....even though I was nowhere near it. Service - We were checked on multiple times by our server, other servers, and gauchos. Awesome!! It was pretty clear that our server was probably new at serving in general, which I totally understand because I just started serving myself a few months ago. It's pretty frightening at first but it wouldn't hurt for their servers to be a bit more knowledgable about their menu. She wasn't quite sure what our cheese bread was called at first...or what desserts they had that night... but it got pretty busy in our section too for a Monday evening at a new restaurant, so props to them.. can't complain about service at a new restaurant when they are still figuring out the swing of things. I've been there before! All in all, great experience.. this is probably my longest review yet and I was eager to write this one as you can probably tell. It's not an everyday place to eat dinner when you're still a college student with a minimum wage job, but I can't wait for the next time I can come back. Now I know which meats I like best, which salad bar dishes are my favorites and to save more room for those yummy side dishes they bring to the table!

I've got a pair of in-laws who love to be impressed when visiting Sacramento. In fact, they expect it. They demand it. And when they are not impressed, it reflects poorly upon California as a whole (what can I say, they're from the East coast, they like to essentialize). One bad meal here and they're going back to their Connecticut book club like, "Oh, California, THAT PLACE, the mari-who-wanna must've tainted their taste buds because LET ME TELL YOU..." (cue 30 minute diatribe). Flame & Fire is where you take overly picky people (like in-laws who you want to impress). It definitely stands above a typical restaurant visit. This is an EXPERIENCE, people. Experience it. Take your time with it. Go with an empty stomach, cause even then...you'll leave with a full one. Go with in-laws who are willing to pay. Haha, just kidding. Pay for yourself, ya cheap bastard! But, yeah, one thing to note is the price. Two people at dinner time eating unlimited meat will spend $100, easy. Still, my in-laws were so unbelievably impressed with this place that they've already demanded we go there on their next visit (be still my heart) and were raving about it for days afterwards. That's how I know Flame & Fire is a winner: when the in-laws approve.

The second my family and I heard that a Brazilian restaurant was going to open in Roseville, I was excited like you can't imagine. There was only one Brazilian Restaurant in the Greater Sacramento area and then one day it permanently shutdown without notice. We were very disappointed. The only other Brazilian restaurant we new of was in San Francisco and San Mateo called Espetus Churrascaria Brazilian Steak House. It is a very good restaurant but too far for us these days. After hearing Flame and Fire would be opening in Roseville, we were esctatic. After it being open for a few months now, we finally had the opportunity to give it a try during lunch. The lunch price was very reasonable and would recommend anyone interested to go during lunch if possible. They're lunch hours are Monday - Saturday 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. Anyone who knows Brazilian knows that it isn't cheap, but if you go during lunch you will definitely save some money. The restaurant has a full bar, which I have yet to partake in and a great salad bar. The selection of meat is amazing and is very hard to say no to even when full. I think the top sirloin is one of my favorites. Our servers name was Carl, if I remember correctly and he was great! He was very attentive to our needs and made our first experience there very welcoming. Lunch was busy which after eating there didn't surprise me. Being the only Brazilian restaurant in the Greater Sacramento, I forsee this establishment being around for some time. I would highly recommend it to anyone. If you can make a reservation I would recommend that as well, because there is no telling when they will be busy. Everything there taste really good. Their roasted pineapple is amazing, as well as their cheese balls. You really can't go wrong with this place!

Went to flame and fire with a living social deal. I was super excited to try it out! Even with the deal which was $30 for $60 worth of food. Our total was still ANOTHER $60 plus tip for dinner for 2 and 2 drinks. Read up on their website for what's it's all about and costs. I want to stick to food and service. You get a lot of food. A lot. More than any person could actually eat and you can't take anything home due to the nature of the Rodizio service. You start with the salad bar which has a everything from fresh fruit and cheese too salads. Some were pretty tasty others not so good. The salmon (think lox) I tried from the salad bar was a scary temp and texture and tasted awful. I loved the rice and beans but most of the salad stuff didn't stand out to me. I returned to the table with a full plate of food and immediately the gauchos start offering you slices of the meat. I got overwhelmed really quickly with the amount of food. The gauchos were very nice and were quick to accommodate requests and offer more and more. It was a fairly slow night so I don't know if on a packed night we would have gotten the same level or attention/service or if we would have gotten to try as much as we did.

Went in with my family to celebrate moving to the area. Saw the reviews and glad we went. The food was awesome, the setting was outstanding, but the service was out of this world. I came with my my wife and two kids 2 and 1 yo. The team was very patient and great with my kids. My brother and his family got to experience Brazilian steakhouse for the first time. They loved it! Only complaint is it took a bit to get the pikahna steak. Great experience and would definitely recommend.

Took the boyfriend for our anniversary dinner, his first time experiencing Brazilian BBQ (my first time was earlier this year at Espetus in SF). Flame and Fire is tucked away in the same complex as Ninja Sushi and Chando's Tacos, but was very close to Highway 65 and not hard to find. We came in without reservations on a Thursday evening and got a table for two. Same setup, all you can eat salad bar and warm food options in chafing dishes along one wall. All you can eat carved meats, appetizers included polenta, fried plantains, and cheesey tapioca bread; drinks (cocktails and nonalcoholic) and desserts cost extra. The Yes/No coin-flip chip system worked alright, and the main waitress was readily available for special meat type requests or drink/appetizer refills. When in Rome, try the house cocktails, especially the traditional Brazilian drink, the Caipirinha. My favorite meats were the house special top sirloin, the lamb chop, Brazilian sausage, and the filet mignon. The bacon-wrapped items were good, as was the garlic or parmesan options (pork, chicken, beef). I definitely also asked for the grilled pineapple to come back to the table a few times -- it was tasty, and besides, gotta have that bromelain enzyme to help breakdown all that meaty protein! Sorry for the inner scientist nerd coming out there -- there's a food science lesson for ya! I was disappointed only that they did not offer any seafood options at dinner such as scallops or shrimp. Also Espetus SF included chicken hearts on their skewers. Call me weird, but I love those. There was salmon as part of the salads though, not the same. Truly filling meal for $45 each, not too far of a drive and a very nice dining experience. Would come back again!

It was early January and I was searching for Brazilian on yelp, and found this place. To my surprise it was close by. I make a reservation online for Valentine's day. We went here and overheard the hostess saying that they are fully booked tonight, but if there was a cancellation they would call them to let them know. We got seated right away. They were offering a complimentary sangria or cheesecake. We went for the sangria, well, one complimentary sangria, paid for the other. It was decent. Since we never been there before our server explained everything to us. They have an all you can eat salad bar, which was good as well. When the meat started to come around we were super excited. Bacon wrapped chicken, lamb chops, leg of lamb, flank steak and bacon wrapped filet mignon. Everything was really good. What sealed the deal for us was the pineapple. We requested the pineapple again, it was amazing! We had the flan for dessert which was really good too! We left there full and happy!

I absolutely love this place! I've been here twice the past month and I may just make it a usual occurrence (oh, darn =P). The staff is warm and inviting, the food is AMAZING (my favorite is the bacon-wrapped filet mignon), and the establishment is gorgeous. I have only had churrascaria-style food once in my life, so this was a fairly new experience, but I was not disappointed! The second time I visited I actually got to meet the owners, Emmanuel and his wife. Such a nice couple! So attentive and inviting! In summation, I will be visiting again! And again.... and again....

1st time experiencing Brazilian BBQ. Location seems a bit out of place--an "extravagant high-end restaurant" in a fairly small-medium mall strip next to small shops. Perhaps this makes it a bit more down-to-earth & approachable than other high-end restaurants. Everyone has their own roles here: thehostesses, "servers", carvers/"chefs", & the bus/water boy. Our server explained to us how it works: if we want food, we flip the coaster-looking card to the green side facing up which says "yes, por favour"; if not, leave it red side side up. The carvers will walk by & if they see your greencard, they'll stop by your table to offer you what they have. Each person has a mini-tong to grab the food while it's being sliced. The other room has the salad bar where we can get plates & help ourselves to anything there. There were a variety of different salads & fresh sides: quinoa salad, millet(?) salad, bow-tie pasta, 2 varieties of spinach salads--one with peach; another with mandarin oranges, regular shredded iceberg salad, corn, beets, potato salad, cornbread, cheeses, deli meats, sliced avocado, fruits, salsa, cheese wedges, etc. Near the plates were 4 pots which contained: rice (garlic butter flavored?); black beans; "something"; & potatoes. Complimentary fried bananas & mashed potatoes are provided for each table. (Though there wasn't any "famous" cheese bread as other Yelpers have mentioned). The bananas were pan-fried & coated with cinnamon. The mashed potatoes were plain & dry--meh. The meats: good, very succulent-- a plus side of having them served right when they're done. There were different cuts of steak & pork: flank, sirloin, tenderloin, etc; sausage; lamb; & grilled pineapple coated with cinnamon. Thought it was awesome how they can offer different types of rarity from the 2 skewers of meat they present to you. I sampled everything with different rarities. My least favorites (because I'm not a huge fan of Parmesan) were the Parmesan pork & chicken. They were better than what I expected them to taste like, but it simply wasn't for me, so I declined on the 2nd offers. The carvers/"chefs" were superbly wonderful: they politely offered & served us. When we were near to finishing & began declining some of the meats, they asked what else we wanted to eat so they can bring out whatever we wanted. The bus/water boy was quick to clean the tables & refill any water glasses. Our glasses barely reached 1/2 empty. We wanted to inquire our server about birthday specials (according to other Yelpers, a [free] dessert was offered), but our server was nowhere in sight. We sat, waiting & watched the hostesses(?)/other servers(?) chat away near the computer. They looked over at us since we were looking at them with 2 empty tables between us & them, but none of them approached us; perhaps because it's not their table/job. I figured our sever was gone for the day. After waiting/watching them chat for 10 mins, I finally went up to pay & the ladies dispersed. As I was signing the bill, our server emerged from behind, asking how everything was & gave us a discount card for next time. Other than the end portion of this visit, our experience here was great. I really hope a majority of the tips go to the carvers/"chefs" & bus/water boy; they appeared to be the ones doing most of the work & were on top of things. Not so much with our server, or the ladies who chatted away, or the lady who printed my bill after she asked where I was sitting. One star off. Despite not ending well, I would come back here again. Most likely for lunch since it's cheaper ($25 vs $45 for dinner). We may do dinner if we decide to try out their more expensive cuts of meat. Tips: -Make a reservation, even if it's last minute (on the way there) & especially if it's on a weekend. You can make one through Yelp or on their website. We came for lunch on a Saturday, arriving at 1325hrs. The hostess said there will be a 10-15 min wait despite a bunch of empty tables we saw. I told her we have a reservation at 1330 & we were seated immediately. I'm glad I made that reservation while we were stuck in traffic on the way there. I'm assuming the other empty tables we saw are also reserved. -It closes @1400hrs, but that doesn't mean they stop serving you when it hits the hour. They lock the doors so they won't accept anymore lunch customers. It's pretty nice to eat & see the place slowly clear out. -The setting is both romantic & family-friendly. They separate the couples/adults from the guests with kids. We sat on the side near the bar; the family side has the salad bar. -Do not to fill up on the awesome salad bar goodies while waiting for the meats to come your way, especially if you're a meat lover. The portions they give may seem "small" at first, but keep in mind, they keep coming & you can sample many types of meat of different rarity.

So, my husband and I were able to pick up a Living Social deal for her and figured why not try it out. We are a HUGE fan of Brazilian Churrascaria's - having been to many in Las Vegas (Texas de Brazil, Pampas, and the one in the Mirage), as well as taking advantage of Moderno - which is on many Norweigian Cruise Line Ships, and even the random churrascaria in cities we've vacationed - such as Portland, Miami, etc.... The onky we have not been to but need to is Fogo de Chao - and we found out - one opened not too long ago in San Jose - weekend trip! :) Anywho - so we were very excited to hear that Flame and Fire opened. We decided to go on my birthday - a Wednesday night in October - we did make reservations because we were not sure of the crowd, and ended up not really needing them. The restaurant at any given time we were there was maybe 20% full. They only had people sitting in the part of the dining room with the salad bar - and the remainder of the restaurant was dark and empty. That being said - it is a pricey meal so we figured, let's see how it goes (I think it's about $45 a person for all you can eat including salad bar). Review re: Salad Bar - mediocre at best. The variety is meh - not nearly as good as we've seen at other Churrascaria's. A lot of the food was stale, and not as impressive or tasty as I've seen before. Not that you go to a Churrascaria to fill up on salad bar but the selection was not ample and again the food was bland and just not very good. Review re: Small bites to your table - the only small bites brought to us was the cheese bread and fried bananas. It took probably 25 minutes to get the bananas brought out to us, and we only got 3 cheese bread bites to start. We asked for a refill on several occasions and did not get any until about an hour in, close to when we were done eating. Review re: Meat - I would say this was the best part - there was probagly 8-10 types of meat being served, my favorite is sirloin so I ate that the most - but they had a good variety of sausages, beef, chicken, pork and lamb - there's definintely something for everyone. Everything was cooked well and eventually they just started asking what we wanted to bring out to us. They also do pineapple here to cleanse the pallet, and not to mention it's delicious anyway! Review re: Service - overall it was okay - our waitress was semi-attentive - at the beginning coming over quite a bit (though i gave her my cell phone to take the living social and i had to ask 3 times over 30 minutes before she brought it back). But near the end, the service did slow - again it was not a packed night so that was a bit dissapointing - but the hostess and other people did come by and check on us. I will say - their beverage cups are small and if they gave us regular sized pint/water glasses, they probably would not have to check on us as often - we had to wait 5-10 minutes each time on refills - water and soda - so taht was a bit ridiculous. In the end - it was an okay meal - and only because we had a LIving Social deal - if I had to pay full price, I would not be back. I likely won't go back anyway - because I've had better and this somewhat sours the experience.

We took my dad to Flame and Fire for Father's Day. He had never been and my husband and I had been 1 time before. The salad bar is amazing. The salads are fresh and high quality ingredients. The staff is VERY attentive and helpful. My dad and husband enjoyed all of the meats they were served, but the Parmesan chicken was their favorite with the Picanha a close second. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the salad bar only option is very pricey. Great place for special occasions.

Located near the Pleasant Grove and 65 exit. First review Came in for dinner. The host was on the phone answering questions when we came in. It took about three minutes before she acknowledged us. We had a reservation and seated shorty after. Waitress came to our table to articulate about Brazilian cuisine. She gave us a few minutes to decide on beverages and either churrascaria (buffet) or just a plate. Have to do buffet to get real experience with the Gaucho chefs slicing and serving meat table side. She brought up some fried bananas (best warm), mashed potato, and pao de queijo (best warm -cheese bread). We proceeded to try a few items from the salad bar. Selections include rice, beans, prosciutto, salami, fruit, smoked salmon, potato salad. Fresh and properly maintained were salad bar selections The Gaucho chefs came around fairly frequently between the choice of meats (bacon wrapped chicken and pork, parmesan chicken and pork tenderloin, sausage, lamb, and numerous beef choices). With ones server card to indicate serve (green) or break (red) the chefs would offer cuts. The meats offered were served warm to hot. Cooked and seasoned appropriately. My cut of beef were offered to my cooked preference of medium rare. Beef is available from rare to well done. A tenderness was found through all the proteins served. If not they will cook more over the fire in the back. Very little indication that preservatives were used. Waitress was in tune for water refills through the chef portion. A fresh plate and a recharge of the palette cleaning bananas potatoes were provided. Between the meats being served one of the many chefs had grilled pineapple (coated with cinnamon and sugar). A good cleanser and snack on it's own. Fast forward some time later we are finished eating. Definitely full. We waited a little while for the server to provide the check and close the bill. Good flavorful selections for the dining crowd, friendly and mostly attentive Gauchos. Bad a little pricy (not for Brazilian faire) Advice come hungry to leave full. Overall, one of the better Brazilian steakhouse experiences in terms of food service and execution. A bit slow on start and ending, but not to effect my opinion for the first visit. Four stars I will be back to visit again soon. Second review- update Recently came in for happy hour at the bar to use a living social deal. I just came home from a business trip. Sat down at the bar and waited for about 10 minutes before being acknowledged. Placed our order including beverages and waited for another 15 minutes. We ordered according to our living social deal and the bar staff asked if we wanted anything from happy hour menu. We asked if we could with the living social. She said it was okay. About another ten minutes before she said we couldn't mix the deals. I kindly requested that it be removed from order. She acknowledged or at least she said it could be done as our drinks are finished being made. The drinks were okay nothing exceptional or standing out. Forward another 5 minutes and both appetizers arrive. Well we consume the appetizer food which arrives tender and delicious. Our check arrives with the bill including the drinks and appetizers without happy hour prices applied. Again a little time for the bill to be settled with the deal. The bar tender and lack of attention was noticed through the experience. Good food. Bad: slow service, lack of attention. Overall three stars service was a major miss. I might come back some day just not before the year end.

Lunch is a much cheaper deal at 25 bucks. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat? This place makes me want to rap. Today I went to the Flame and Fire Rodizio Threw down 25 each for me and the lady, yo I know what you're thinking, that's a little spendy Mother(bleep) what do you think it's Wendy's? You get what you pay for, and this was the truth The steak made me forget about Chris and Ruth I mean Ruth and Chris this steak was pretty great I told myself to chill but I ate and ate and ate Now my stomachs hurting but I still feel fantastic if you hating on this place then you are kinda spastic It was a constant barrage of meat, I thought I would win. The food won. Grilled pineapple? Are you mad? Yes please, I'll have some more. Most of the meat was cooked to perfection at varying doneness. I am addicted to their rice and beans. Oh man, the salad bar is amazing too. The customer service was OFF THE CHARTS GREAT! If you don't know about that churrascaria life then let me school you: A disc on the table goes from red to green. Green being "MEAT FRENZY" Eat your stomachs limit, not over it. You've been warned! Great place. I LOVE YOU FLAME AND FIRE!!!! FLAME MOTHER(BLEEP) ON!!!!!!!!!!!!! -Carl

meat after meat, after meat, after meat... This was my first time ever dining in a Brazliian steakhouse. Came in here not knowing what to expect. We made reservations for the evening since it was encouraged and we wanted to make sure we were able to get in since the restaurant is quickly becoming popular through word of mouth. We were given the menu... my husband gave me a puzzled look because there was only one dinner price ($45) and one lunch price ($25) and there was dessert and wine list and that was it on the menu. There is a full bar service. Our server/host was nice enough to explain how everything works. So we started off at the sides and salad bar. There are a host of salads and pasta of sorts and some Brazilian sides to choose from. By the way, if you just want the salad bar it is $19 for lunch and $29 for dinner. Appetizers were served which included Brazilian Cheese Rolls, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Sweet Fried Bananas. As soon as we were seated these chefs would come to our table with skewers of different types of meats and serve you.... continuously! They would slice and serve the meat right in front of you. Oh, I guess that chip must be turned to the red side to stop the serving at one point. LoL! We must've tried all 15 types of the meat... first served to us was the Garlic Picanha... then tri tip, filet mignon, pork ribs, bacon-wrapped filet mignon, lamb chop, parmesan pork and chicken parmesan (these two were my personal favorite), then more of bacon wrapped chicken breast, pork tenderloin, Brazilian sausage, leg of lamb... different cuts of sirloin cooked (top sirloin, sirloin, bottom sirloin)... PLUS, I don't really like pineapples but one chef served us their roasted caramelized pineapple and it was delicious! Had to give up at some point but they keep coming back asking us if we had any favorites and they would give us more. We did not have room for dessert :( The servers and chefs were all very friendly and some entertaining. Our host was great too. Ambiance was intimate with the lights slightly dimmed making it a relaxing environment. We came for dinner and we've seen people dressed from casual to dressy and classy. If you can grab a LivingSocial deal it would offset the price of dinner and you will be able to experience and have a taste of all fifteen savory cuts of meat available to you. We were there until almost closing time. They closed at 9:30p. Very nice first time experience dining here.

Maybe my group of friends and i came on an off night but I didn't fall in love with Flame & Fire, even though I love meat and I love AYCE. The ambiance is subpar for the price and level of food. The restaurant is simple and clean but doesn't have a luxurious steakhouse feel. The bar is a great place for a pre or post meal drink and they have a great list of handmade cocktails. The food was hit or miss depending on the item. I loved the steaks and bacon wrapped chicken. Some of the other meats were too salty or it took too long for them to come out of the kitchen. The salad bar is extensive but nothing mind blowing. The restaurant is worth a try if the $45 price tag isn't a deal breaker. Not to be sexist, however I think this restaurant is the place for a wife to take her husband for his birthday but not a place for a husband to take his wife for an anniversary or special occasion. I don't have a hankering to return, hence the A-OK rating, but I do feel F&F is a special value and definitely worth a try especially if you love meat!

This place needs to take some SERIOUS notes from Espetus in SF or Fogo de Chão in LA. Went here with high expectations after having been to one of the most phenomenal Brazilian restaurants (Espetus) hoping it would be just as good, if not better then what I had experienced elsewhere. We had a reservation at 8pm, arrived 15 minutes early, had to wait until 8:30 even though there were plenty of empty tables available. When I asked why we had to wait so long past our actual resie time and WHY we couldn't sit at any of the vacant tables, the 20 something (absolutely clueless) hostess gave me a ridiculous excuse and said we would be seated "soon". We were FINALLY seated ALMOST 35 minutes AFTER our reservation time AND on the crappy side of the restaurant. FYI, there are 2 sides, one has TOTAL atmosphere and the other side (by the bar) just SUCKS. We went straight to the salad bar which didn't have a good selection of food and honestly was comparable to an Olive Garden salad bar (thumbs down). Upon returning to the table we expected the meat selection to come around every couple of minutes and instead, had to flag down the guys with the meats because they would come out of The kitchen and completely bypass the tables on the side we were sitting, taking the food to the other "better side" of the restaurant. We even complained twice because there was no meat being sent our direction and that's the main part of the Brazilian dining experience. Basically this place TOTALLY sucks and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody who's been anywhere else and had a great Brazilian dining experience. This place will definitely be a HUGE let down. We felt aggravated and ripped off afterwards. Needless to say, I'll NEVER be going here again. Note to the management: You NEED to go get schooled at Fogo de Chão in LA or Espetus in SF. They KNOW what Brazilian dining is all about.

We've been waiting to go to the place for a special occasion and it was well worth the wait. We went for my BF's birthday with a party of 6. I had read some reviews that the meats were slow to come out, not the case for us. We went on a Saturday at 7:00pm and the place was bustling. There was no shortage of meats coming out quickly and they were all excellent. Nice and hot and well-seasoned. The salad bar was great as well with some nice variety. The pineapple that they cook is amazing! The service was excellent and we really enjoyed the whole experience. Will definitely go again!

First off I like to stay the service is great and that is why they get 3 stars. I was very dissapointed in the food. When they are not that busy not much meat comes out at all and when it does its dry very dry and flavorless. All the pork I had was inedible, just dry and flavorless, did I say DRY. When it began to get busier more meat started to come out and started to get better till the dry pork tenderloin came around again. Did I say DRY!!!! The bacon wrapped Chicken made up for the pork. Then the different cuts of sirloin was decent. Then the filet came out and wow what a hunk of crap that was. The most disgusting piece of meat I have ever had. I thought maybe it just that batch and tried it again about 20 min later and wow same crap as before. One thing when you look online don't confuse the chicken parmesan. It's parmesan chicken. Or what it really is the cheapest chicken wings you can purchase with parmesan sprinkled on it and the cooked till dry. The only thing I looked forward to was the grilled pineapple which was awesome but was not enough to make up for the food. At $45 bucks per person on sunday and drinks nor dessert not included was not worth it at all. At $25 I would be okay with food quality but at $45 bucks take your money 5 min away to Ruth Christ's steakhouse and enjoy some real quality steak.

We drove all the way from Elk Grove to visit Flame & Fire. My husband had just gotten back from a business trip in Vegas where they had a Brazilian Steakhouse and wanted me to try one. I hate making long trips with no previous personal references to a place , but I set it aside and we went for it. I am so so glad we did. First of all we started off with a couple cocktails. They were generous and excellent! Loved them! Then we went in to our reservation. The "salad bar" really should have a better name because it was so above a salad bar, it was phenomenal the great selections from meats and cheeses to prepared salads and fresh veggies. It was awesome. Then we went in and got to turn over our cards when we were up for meat. Hubby went to the sides bar that contained rice and beans and a plethora of other selections. I didn't go because the salad bar was so great and I wanted to save room for the meats! Ohhhh the meats. All cooked to perfection, piping hot and two bite servings. It was great, you can try all different types of meats and even grilled pineapple to your hearts content! LOVED it! The pineapple was amazing! They also had cheese bread and plantains, but I didn't get but a bite of those because it was for me all about the meats! LOL It is definitely a must do! A Great date night. Loved it!

Amazing establishment; not only the wide assortment of different meats, but the salad bar...fresh asparagus, Brazilian rice, beans, cheeses, etc. were off-the-hook. At $42.00 a person, it was well worth it. The top sirloin, bacon wrapped chicken and grilled (cinnamon) pineapple were the best, in my opinion.

I went to Flame and Fire because so many people have told me how much they love this place. The people that love this place really love this place so if you never have been I would check it out because this is just my take. The deal You get all you can eat salad bar and meat for $45 set price per person, no drink or dessert included, with tax and tip its about $60 per person if you drink nothing and have no dessert. I am Ok with that price what I was not crazy about is getting served tiny portions of meat piece by piece by men walking around the room. I now know how my dog feels waiting for a piece a food to drop so they can eat it. I prefer to have all my meat served at once, not in tiny bite sized pieces. The pork was also cooked to death, it was so dry it was inedible to me. The bacon wrapped chicken and the house beef were very good. The salad bar was ehh. I think they have a better salad bar with more selection at Sizzler buts that is just me. You also get three sides that they serve at your table, dried out polenta( not good and I like polenta), fried banana that was very good and some gluten free bread. I bet you gluten intolerant people are just thrilled to have something that resembles bread that you all can eat. I am not a gluten intolerant person, I actually like my gluten so the bread was not good, again just my take. It had nothing on some really yummy bread, it was OK. Over all it was just OK. For the money I would rather go to a good steak house and have all my meat served in one big piece. For the salad bar I would rather go to sizzler. You should try it once and see if its for you, it not for me.

We went around 7PM and although the meat was kinda slow coming out... it was worth the wait. Around 7:30PM things started to pick up and they had meat coming at a constant rotation. Everything was really good;cooked and seasoned well. My husband and I are fans of a popular brazilian steak house called, Fogo De Chao and this place definitely was on par with Fogo. In comparison to Fogo it is not as big venue wise, but the food was just as good. As I said the venue was smaller, but I would not classify that as a negative, the waters actually started to know how we liked our steak cooked, every time they came around with well done we turned it down, who wants to chew on a leather shoe after all (lol Jk). After the second round, the guys with the well done steak would just pass us. We like our steak the bloodier the better... Okay, Sorry that was gross. But yeah we enjoyed this place. It cost around $49.00 per person for dinner and $25 for lunch so it's not cheap. I would suggest not eating all day so you can really throw down. :)

Great place for all you can eat meat for $45 per person. They have the best salad and the meat was so delicious. My favorite was the garlic steak and the top sirloin. They served us fried banana which I think it was dessert but I also love their tiny cheese muffin and fried polenta. I would definitely come back and highly recommended for the price you paid you got the best food and customer service was awesome. Everyone was so nice and they checked everytime if we need anything

Took the family here because I won a gift certificate from a radio contest!!! Very good food. The salads were so fresh and the cheeses so yummy. Loved the brussel sprouts, they were the best I've ever had!! The meats were amazing! (Except for the lamb chop, I thought it was chewy and gamey but my Husband loved it) Our oldest daughter said the steak was "heaven" and I can't even get her to eat steak ever at home! Quick tip: It was freezing inside. Bring a sweater. Very nice ambiance, our server was so sweet but looked over worked and was speed talking to us. We also ordered Shirley Temples and Roy Rogers and she accidentally hit the cranberry button instead of the grenadine, which was more funny than anything. She said it was the first time ever making one, the bartender was over worked without a bar back and they had a wedding party in the back, so I'll forgive the bitter cranberry soda drinks. I'm deducting one star because the hostess was rude. All in all LOVED it & will be back!

MEAT. Straight up The could pretty much sum up my trip to Flame and Fire. Came in at noon on a Saturday for lunch, the restaurant was barely full. Being this was an all you can eat spot, I don't even have to tell you to come hungry. The waitress explained how everything worked. Started at the salad bar, the meat will works it's away around to each table and you go from there. I was intrigued by the Brazilian soda, it was like a cherry ginger ale. I became an instant fan. Where can I get a 12 pack???? I need those in my life! At the table, the waitress brought over a bowl of cheese bread for the table to share. This were little pockets of cheesey bready deliciousness. It was a nice little starter. *First off, for those who recommend this place just for the salad bar, you're cray cray. 19 bucks just for salad bar...you can't make me. You're better off spending 19 dollars at the mall and going hungry.* back to the good stuff, I started at the hots foods. Rice is a must for me, covered with the stewed beans that had sausage and pork. There was also a meatless option of beans. There was a hot dish called baked potato, this is not rational baked potato, more like baked potato soup/stew. I didn't get a chance to try the hot fish dish, however I noticed it was tilapia. There was quite a few different salad options from, grilled zucchini, cole slaw, broccoli salad, Brazilian greens, pasta salad, Brazilian salsa, various cheeses, cold cuts (salami and ham) and a make your own salad area. I was quite impressed with everything I had, I can't complain about anything. The rice and beans was probably my fav from the salad bar. Now the main event. Before I start, the waitress brought out more table snacks, fried polenta and fried banana/plantain. She explained that these were used to cleanse ours palettes. That didn't entice me much cause I came to taste meats. Once the waiters serving the good stuff came out, it was game over. First was the pork tenderloin, so tender and juicy. Next, bacon chicken. Exactly what it is called, bacon wrapped chicken. This was good as well bunt didn't blow my mind away. If you love bacon...need I say more. Garlic beef and the bottom sirloin was on deck. garlic beef was the bomb, you can definitely taste the garlic. This was a top 3 for me. The bottom sirloin was delicious as well, but once I start to mention the prime meat that was special, you'll forget all about this bottom round. I had to try the lamb. It didn't have the overly gamey taste that people usually don't like about lamb. But I def am a fan. Perfect medium rare, just amazing. I'd go back just got the lamb and garlic beef. However, remember when I mentioned the prime special meat they have. I guess it can be different any day of the week. Today, it was the top sirloin. OH GAWD. This was balls to the wall, over the top, delicious. I could not stop raving over it during lunch. Every time it came around, I had to get a slice. The flavor, the way it melted in my mouth, perfect rare to medium rare. OH GAWD. It is a great plus that they will cook any meat exactly the way you want it. It may take some time, but at least someone you hates really rare meat can get it well done and cooked through. The topper that ended this meal was the cinnamon and sugar roasted pineapples. AHHHHH PINEAPPLE. This was the best dessert I've had in a long time. This melted just like the meat but was so delicious and sweet. Just like the top sirloin, I can not stop raving over this pineapple as well. I'm craving it right now as I write this. This is an absolutely must have. AHHHHH MORE PINEAPPLE PLEASE. I needed to get a clean plate at the end just so I could get more. This was a great experience for any occasion. My only meh, gripe was the price. 45 is pushing it for dinner. Since I went for lunch, I wonder how much more gets added during the dinner time. I'm interested in knowing but still that price. Definitely will be making a return trip sometime, but probably again for lunch doe.

Dear Flame & Fire.. Oh how I want to love you so, take you into my home & adopt you as my child & put you on my "Date Nights With My Hunky Poo" yelp list. But because your meats are mostly overcooked & undertasty, I can't. Hubby was the first that took notice of your glowing reviews & first wanted to be your Daddy too. He wanted to experience you oh so many moons ago, but you let him down as well.. On the bright side there are a few positives & some serious reasons to come back. Four weeks after my intial visit, the main things that stick in memory are.. #1 The salad bar was WORTH IT. As a matter of fact this wasn't just some typical Hometown or Golden Corral buffet. It was like wedding worthy buffet.. It had the most amazing block cheeses (parmesan was so good!), palm hearts (what is a palm heart anyway? I dunno but I had like 5 of them), the brocolli salad was so good! the corn salads I had a few helpings of..I don't even eat beans at Mexican restaurants without downing them with water, but the black beans here were perfect! I can go on & on but I can't remember the names of all the fancy things tried, cuz I never had these types of salad before, nor know the names of them...The best ones (& there were plenty) had no cheap iceberg romaine lettuce in it. It was all so good, unique & different than stuff I tried before & trust, I have eaten at a lot of different places. The saliciao salad was my star player..I had like 4 helpings! It's a mix of all kids of weird things..ham..maybe some celery...some white stuff..peas.. Not sure exactly, but probably simple stuff you can find in your own fridge, but whipped into something extremely special. And, ham? I don't even LIKE ham. Not even honey baked ham at Thanksgiving. Try this salad when or if you go, you won't regret it. #2 My second biggest thought that sticks out is...uhm..what happened to the amazing $45 worth of meat I was expecting? My Hubby makes steaks better more juicier than this place. I like my meat medium rare. Pinkish & still kinda oozy. And the closest thing to medium rare was the amazing pineapple with sugar n cinnamon if that makes sense, and it does! Hubby reasoned that when meat pieces are not taken, the meat goes back on the grill to keep it warm, which hence makes it tough. Yah, makes sense, but that still doesn't make me wanna come back & get tough meat! C'mon mang! The chicken wings were good, but I came for meat from cows worth $45. Not chicken wings, u feel me? Which brings me to the 3rd most memorable thing on my mind.. #3 The PINEAPPLE with cinnamon & sugar!! THIS made me believe, I had no need for dessert. It was amazing!!!!! Sweet...hot..juicy...tasty..everything a man & a food should be. This item truly satisfied a big part of what makes a meal perfect. It was so good I am replicating this recipe at home on the grill when the heat hits our city...allrecipes.com baby! All honesty in tow.. The place itself is beautiful. It's kinda sorta romantic. Not like, quiet-rubbin-your- significant-others-leg-let's-go-home-and-do-this kind of romantic, but lights dim enough romantic. And romantic enough, & busy enough to take someone on a first date (if u wanna spend that much $ on a first date..). Not romantic enough for Valentine's Day in-my-honest-opinion which is why we came. For $45 a buffet that includes meat & salad bar, I expect high backed cushy seats that enclose & produce a solitary vibe. Low noise & intimate. Meat so tasty & moist & volano exploding it makes you close your eyes as you savor the moment, you let out a small whimper & makes you wanna eat it in bed. If you have had a food so savory & tickle your fancy so deep like that, then you & I both understand real good food & you know what high standards are. Which is what I expected at this price tag. But....maybe we came on an off day? Main chefs were sick? At any rate, I would come back for sure for the salad bar which is about $19 I think. Still pricey, but I think about those salads & when food lingers in my mind..weeks after the event, it's worth a try again. All in all.. $45 buffet for meat n salad bar buffet..maybe I'd come back. $19 just salad bar buffet, for this I would def come back.

We just celebrated our 9th year wedding anniversary last night and have decided to try Flame and Fire for the first time. Walking in to the building was amazing; the ambiance was what I expected romantic, chill, and family oriented. Just the way I like it. The waiter was the best; and the Gaucho's are hilarious!! The food was great!! I especially loved the filet mignon and the top sirloin and the chicken and the ribs...I love them all. But the one thing that really stood out for me was the Pineapple!!! that is a must!! I didn't get the chance to take lots of pictures of the food because I was busy eating it. Next time I will definitely go back and bring my family from the bay area and I will definitely take pictures

Super Fun and one of the best meals I've had in a long time. I'm getting together a group so they can experience what I've been bragging about. Thank you Flame and Fire for bringing something new to local dining !

Carnivore galore! The service from both the meat servers and our personal server was awesome. My family came here for a late night father's day celebration and it was just wonderful. We were sat in the private area in the back near the kitchen so whenever the food came out it came to us before it went to out to the individuals on the main floor. Would totally come back for their sausages and pineapple. The only downside was that the meat sometimes came out too salty and there was not enough variety at the salad bar. The reason for the 4 stars is because we got a token for a free meal for when we go back.

Finally! As news broke of a Brazilian BBQ spot opening in Sacramento, I had it bookmarked, added on my calendar and started notifying friends of its grand arrival! However, Flame and Fire slowly put out that Flame of excitement upon my first visit. I was prepared to fork over $$$ based on my previous visits at other Brazilian BBQ places. An AYCE lunch for $25 and $45 for dinner seems to be the average rate for this type of dining experience. You can also order just the salad bar for $17. NOTE - dessert and drinks are NOT included in the AYCE. The concept is interesting, fun and interactive - different slices of meat on large metal skewers are brought to each table. Diners use metal tongs to pull the meat from the skewer and enjoy along with delicious sides from the salad bar. I appreciated that each gaucho (meat carvers) asked each of us how we liked our meat cooked. Each table has a cardboard button (one side is red and the other green) which indicates to the gaucho to either go to your seat or skip past you. Flip to green if you want to keep the food coming and flip to red for a 5 minute food break. I was impressed with the cleanliness, space and modern-casual décor of the restaurant. I'm in love with their beautiful, spacious outdoor patio, complete with cushioned bench seating. Tables are adorned with white table cloths, crystal clear goblet glasses and burgundy cloth napkins. I cannot get over how comfy their dining room chairs are. Now in all fairness, they are new and working out the quirks and kinks that go along with a new restaurant. Our lunch didn't go quite as smooth as I wanted. I called to make a reservation for a large group for 11 a.m. (when it opens per their website) and was told they open at 11:30 a.m. To my surprise, diners were already seated and eating before 11:30 a.m. I booked the "VIP room" - a banquet room for large group parties which includes a TV. Upon arrival, we ended up sitting at a large table next to the salad bar instead. Apparently, they double booked and we were not notified. It did work out since the salad bar was convienently next to us. (The VIP room is near the restrooms) Once seated, our server gave us a brief explanation of the restaurant. The salad bar was filled with a variety of cheeses, pastas, fruit, antipasto delights. Among my favorites were a powered pasta dish (no signs of what it was), fig and ham appetizer and bowtie pasta salad. I also ordered the Guarana drink - Brazilian soft drink that is supposed to compliment the meal. I have a serious crush on their small cheese biscuits brought to our table. The biscuits are warm, fluffy and light with melted cheese inside! Servers brought out plates of fried bananas to cleanse our palette in between each meat entrée. It was so good that I just kept asking for more as my dessert! The garlic mashed potatoes were buttery and hit the spot. I made every attempt to try each of the meat samplings which included tri-tip, bacon wrapped chicken, chicken drummettes and sausages. It would have been helpful to see a list of meats served that night like other AYCE restaurants. I enjoyed the lamb (surprisingly since I'm not a fan of lamb) flank steak and garlic pork. The parmesan crusted meats were mostly burnt and the chicken was very dry. Sorry, chicken heart fans -they do not have of the adventurous and exotic meats like other brazillian bbq spots. Look for the roasted pineapple! The servers were on point after giving us our drinks, but were nowhere to be seen after the first meat entrée came by. It seemed like I kept getting skipped over when the gauchos came by our table. And trust me, I had 3 cardboard buttons around my plate all flipped to green! It took a very long time to get our bill and sorting the payment situation seemed like it was too much trouble. Restaurant.com has discounted gift certificates available. $25 gift card, but must spend a minimum of $50. Kid friendly - Kids under 7 are free. I believe ages 8 - 12 are half off. The outdoor patio was a lifesaver for the kiddos to run around and enjoy the warm weather. The kiddo loved the cheese bread, pasta, fruit and especially the fried bananas. Plastic kids cups with straws were provided and I did not see a changing station in the restrooms. Overall, it was still a fun dining experience and recommend to check this place out.

At $45 per person for dinner, I was hoping/wishing/praying that Flame & Fire would completely and utterly knock my socks off (even though I wasn't wearing socks!). ...aaaand well. Hmmm. Almost. Sure, the concept of a Brazilian steakhouse was super interesting (think that one scene in Bridesmaids) and is something that everyone should try at least once. Basically there are gauchos walking around with big sticks of meat and they will stop by your table to carve you off a piece if you have your special individual card flipped over to green AKA yes, more meat please! Once you get full, you can flip it to red AKA give me a moment to digest... Service was especially good - we informed our waitress that it was the boyfriend's birthday before he got there, and when we gave her the OK she brought out a team to sing in Portuguese (combined with excited clapping of everyone in the vicinity) as well as a complimentary ice cream platter with 6 scoops of their trademark ice cream (watch out for the pepper, it has some light heat!). She definitely tried to push drinks and dessert, though, which are not included in the AYCE. The gauchos were all very courteous and polite, and every time I would ask for medium well cuts of meat, they would be like WAIT I'll go get it, so I'd be like WAIT it's fine, haha. Just a side note: many of their cuts will be medium rare, but they are very accommodating in getting you what you want. So the AYCE food - not only do you have the gauchos walking around with an unlimited meat supply, but there's also a salad bar with different types of pasta, bean, and fruit salads, along with salami and cheese and some other interesting items like stuffed figs. Plus, there's a hot foods station nearby with several different trays of seemingly more authentic Brazilian food. Wish I had been adventurous enough to try those! They also bring mashed potatoes, cheesy mini biscuits, and what appeared to be fried plantains to your table. As for meat, there was a decent variety - everything from tritip to filet mignon, bacon-wrapped chicken to lamp chops, and chicken wings covered in parmesan followed by sausage, "special gaucho meat", and of course, the yummy pineapple. There wasn't anything I didn't particularly like, BUT there also wasn't anything I was particularly craaazy about. Everything was "good" in general. I came for the meat, and meat was what I got. Not mindblowing filet mignon or anything, but just good meat all around. As much as I wanted to love this place - upscale, classy, and welcoming - I just wasn't as amazed as I thought I would be. I enjoyed the experience and the food, both pretty solid, and would still recommend it for a fancy date night. If you're thinking about coming with a larger party, they do reservations. However, I'm just not sure if it met my expectations for the price. Maybe lunch for only $25 would be a different story!

The place has a terrific bar, quality service and the food was splendid. The bartender was very friendly and offered up some Brazilian cocktails which turned out great. The service is very friendly and efficient. The food just kept coming and the variety and quality was just spectacular. Yes it's spendy, but how often do you get that style of dining where they just keep bringing the food to you until you just give up. It's like a reverse buffet. I had the flan for dessert and it was just divine. Happy eating all.

I would love to review the food, but I never even got a chance to walk in any farther than the waiting area by the door. It was a little after 4:30 on an early Tuesday evening before Christmas and I walked in with my fiance, holding my livingsocial deal in hand and wearing my scrubby clothes (jeans, my gray and orange Jurassic Park tshirt and a orange plaid long sleeve shirt) and so was he. We had planned to dine here before going out and walking around a neighborhood to view the Christmas lights. As soon as we walked in, I noticed right away that the matradee was in a suit. The place was empty, save the waiters and waitresses walking around getting the tables ready. The matradee doesn't even greet us and asks if we have a reservation. We didn't. I didn't think to make one since we were planning on coming in early. Well, they were "booked", which flabbergasted me and my fiance. The place was EMPTY! The stupid look on my face must have made him said "if you want to wait, we can seat you at 8". It's 4:30 and you want me to wait?! We politely decline and left. After walking out, I thought that it was because I was holding my living social deal in my hand and most places prefer reservations when using them. My fiance thought it was because we were very much under dressed for the place. Either way, I've never felt so belittled in my life! Could they have seated us easily before the dinner rush? Yes. We were a party of two, not a party of 4+. And even though we dress poorly, it does not mean we tip poorly! That's a huge pet peeve of mine! Could the matradee have been more polite? YES! Walk away lessons: 1) Make a reservation, even if it is early Tuesday evening right when they open. 2) Dress a little nicer than jeans and a tshirt. Maybe jeans and a nice dress shirt or polo. 3) Even though this was over a month ago, you still remember how people treat you and it still makes you angry, but you will still give them another chance because you're a better person than to hold a grudge. TLDR: Rude matradee, make a reservation, dress nice, and next time, I will leave a review on the food and not on the service at the door!

So having eaten at Espetus in San Francisco we already had a standard that we were expecting. Flame and Fire was good, and came close to our original experience but is a bit different. The place is large, and it can take some time for certain items to get back around to you, more people at the side dish buffet made it a little crowded, and the selection of meat was not quite as vast. The service was overall good but not as polished. We arrived early for our reservation and sat next to the bar and were fine there until our table was ready. The hostess came and got us 15 minutes early and took us in the back area to seat us but the table was not quite ready. We stood there for a few minutes watching them clean the table, until she took us to a different table. After seating the waitress seemed too busy with new customers and explaining how it works to realize our drinks ran empty, but then once she saw she was fast and didn't let it happen again. They all did seem a bit confused and overwhelmed through out the night though. The sides were very good, and a great selection from pasta and rice to meat and cheese to lasagna. The meats were all quite good, some extremely good, others a little on the dry side. They mix beef, pork, chicken, and lamb in several varieties including bacon wrapped choices as well. I loved the house special top sirloin, but I thought the Filet Mignon was on the drier side of things. Overall a very nice place to enjoy the evening. My wife and I both enjoyed our food and experience. It may not have exactly matched the first experience, but was very close to it and with out the long drive.

We really enjoy going here. We have been many times since their opening and have been completely satisfied each time. The pineapple is a unique treat. They can easily accommodate gluten free, the Brazilian cheese bread comes with each meal is gluten free.

We love Brazilian steak houses! My husband lived in Brazil for two years and we were so excited when we heard one was coming to Roseville. The restaurant is beautiful. Very chic and classic. The price is right compared to other restaurants like it. I think we came on an off night. The pao de queijo was too crunchy and the bacon wrapped chicken and pork loin were both over cooked. The red meats were perfect! We will be back to see if the quality of pao and white meats have improved.

The best lamb i ever had at a Brazilian Steakhouse, the Garlic sirloin was the second best i had (i've been to five now), Seattle had the best garlic sirloin. Overall out of the 5 Brazilian Steakhouses i've been to this ties for the number one spot or slightly edges out for numero uno.

We went the week after Christmas. I was looking forward to the visit - had heard a lot from people about it. We are all foodies (read: BJ's would never even get 4 stars from us). Anyway, I was really disappointed. There's something about any restaurant with a buffet - even if it's just for the side dishes - it lends itself to not being a "dining experience". I don't quite know how to explain that part of it but I didn't dig it. With regard to the meat brought to the table (which is really the entire point of this place, right??!) Well, the ONLY meat that wasn't overcooked was the house specialty, sirloin. I was crushed. It was just so disappointing to have everything overly well done. :( Unlike others, I don't care about the $45 price tag per person. If it was excellent, that's a bargain but the meat was just COOKED TO DEATH. :-(

This is a prix fixe restaurant so you get all you can possibly eat for the one price. The meats were delicious and once they knew what you liked they kept coming back with more. The grilled pineapple was out of this world and the perfect ending to the meal. Service was wonderful. I recommend everyone try this placea t least once!

I really have mixed feelings to eat here again. The kitchen staff was cutting the cheese right at the salad bar & had no gloves! Yuk! The salad bar was just ok.. The meat was bland.. The lamb chop was tough The carvers need more practice carving meat. They were scaring me on how they handled their knife. I've been to other Brazilian steakhouses & didn't get uncomfortable with the carvers Drove a little more than an hour away & wasn't really worth the drive. I think $45 is a little too high for what was presented I hope they'll improve.. If I visit again, I'll just go for the lunch at $25

We came here for my husbands birthday, and had a really good time. I had never had Brazilian food and wasn't quite sure what to expect. I thought that they had a really nice salad bar (I'm typically not a fan of salad bars), and I loved trying all the little bites of the different meats - my personal favorite was the filet. It's a lot of good - so make sure to go hungry!

My husband and I came here for an early dinner today so we arrived right after opening. We had never been to this location but he had been to a churrascaria in Guam many times before on deployment. I thought food was good and worth the experience despite the high price. My husband was a little disappointed as he said while good it was nowhere near as good as the one in Guam and the place in Guam had been $36 per person vs $45 here. He said each meat of theirs was jam packed full of flavor while it seemed only half of them here were. Then the customer service was not top notch honestly. My husband and I turned our cards over and allowed them to take our plates when full but still waited for our server for 15-20 extra minutes without her appearing. It was obvious we were done as we stated so and its not like we had any alcoholic beverages we were drinking so it was odd to wait for your check that long. It was odd he hadn't checked back with us after taking our plates or even offered the check. When you're paying $90+ for a meal I expect better service and no waiting. All in all I left thinking the experience was nice but with service lacking (not sure why it lacked to begin with there were maybe 4 customers inside) and my husband not amazed at the taste or even it being comparable to the one in Guam I'm not sure we'd be back. Four stars.

This is more than a restaurant serving delicious Brazilian food, it's an experience! The staff was friendly and funny, my daughters boyfriend loved the grilled pineapple, when it was brought to our table he asked "How do you make this??" and the staff member said "Well you take a seed, and then you plant it..." we all started laughing and then he told him the real way. It was a lot of fun.

Bacon wrapped meat dipped in salt..yikes. For the price you are paying you expect the meats to be top notch.

Superb customer service! Don't mind the mongrel expressions of the gauchos...It's nothing personal. Have your server (Ariana is awesome!) make you something personalized from the bar. Don't fill up from the salad bar because the house specialty today is melt-in-my-mouth top sirloin! Make sure you try the bacon-wrapped filet mignon if you're a true carnivore and make sure you come hungry. VERY hungry! Spend some time talking to Carl. We met him; he's fun...and probably making the rounds. Special events? We'll definitely be back!

Salty. I had high hopes. Service was great, but for $50 a plate, I expect great food. I was let down. I have been to many Brazilian steakhouses, this one sits in the middle for me.

I had been wanting to try Flame & Fire for awhile and my husband and I finally tried it last week when my sister-in-law was in town. The atmosphere is really nice, and I liked the meat. However, I was not impressed with salads/sides at the buffet. For how expensive this place is, they should definitely have better sides.

My first experience with Brazilian steakhouse was Espetus in the bay area. When I found out that there was a Brazilian steakhouse opening here in Rocklin I was excited. The experience was not as good as we hoped. The servers were awesome. They kept our drinks filled. The waitress was average considering we only saw her when we were sat and a couple of times when she checked on us. The servers and the gauchos were the stars for me. We first called around 2pm to make a reservation and the only time they had available was at 9:15pm. We arrived at 9:10 for check in. We were then told that we may have to wait up to 30 min to get the seat but, we were sat at 9:15. Just a little confused on why we have to make a reservation if we still need to wait. If you haven't been to Brazilian before the first thing you do is get a plate and get what your starter courses or what I call fillers. They had a good selection for the starters rice, veggies, beans, salad bar was plentiful. Once you sit down that is when the meat comes around. The meat didn't come around as fast as we would have liked. Espetus had meat coming around non stop. Flame and Fire we had to wait a bit for them to come around. The flavor for the meat was only ok. Some was bland and some was tasty. They say they have 15 different types of meat. They only have 8 to 12 different types of meat at any given time. For us, it seemed like the pricier cuts of meat did not come around. We had to ask for ours from the kitchen. The experience was only ok for me. I would come back, but not for dinner service.

Walked in at 8:20 was asked if we had reservations we said no and she replies, well we can seat you anyway. There is only four tables full so what did it matter. Brush that aside. No cheese cut at the salad station, not asked for drink order until 15 minutes into our seating. Then we were told they close at 9 well change your goddamn website and your yelp hours. Treating us as an inconvenience at 45 dollars plus wine and not to mention the laundry list of terrible service by the server did not make me happy. Tip 15% only because I am industry. Could have made an easy 20-30% off our table and sold us more drinks. Meat guys were cool. I also think 29 dollars for the salad bar is ludicrous. At best the dishes were mediocre. And teach someone how to cut prosciutto, it should be thin i had pieces of meat thinner then the prosciutto. Save some food cost.

Kind of okay.. The salad bar had some nicer looking stuff but really it was 5 out of 10 for what it represented. The meats were high quality, tasty and cooked with some skill. Most of the meat was inexpensive cuts. The Lamb Chops were very good as was the Skirt Steak. The Pork Loin and Chicken were both cooked to death. The bartender seemed like he could give a sh*t less if I was standing there or not, so I did not try the bar. 45.00 per person buys a very good meal at many nice restaurants.. I would not call this place a bargain for the food you get.

Excellent place for "carnivore" people in Sacramento Area . Staff:10 . Daniel (Gaucho) :11* Real brazilian "gaucho". Location:10 .contemporary design with beautiful patio-terrace . Kids friendly . Price: 8 . Yummy desserts but almost 8-9 dollars each .....? Lunch and dinner price is ok but maybe couple dollars less .... That would be better effective and most striking . Good job guys . Welcome to Sacramento Area , good luck !!!

Flame and fire describes itself as a Brazilian steakhouse and this is true to the extreme. Lunch carries approximately five different meats dinner 15 to 16. The meets are top-quality tender flavorful and well seasoned. As part of the round up of meats they also serve a Sausage that is dicey at best. Most of the time it is dry and overcooked one or two times it has been excellent I find if I ask my gaucho (server) you can usually steer me in the right direction. They have a small salad bar with premium ingredients and some excellent cheese. There are also usually four or five containing rice sometimes beef stroganoff sometimes an excellent fish what appears to be stew of some sort and other delicacies. The Decore on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give a six. This is a pricey place and I would Think the decor would be more elegant! They also have a full bar. The staff unfortunately leaves a lot to be desired. They are cheerful and friendly but not really trained to a high-end steakhouse. An example would be when you are finished with addition you move it outside or two dishes or three dishes and move inside they tend to stay on the table for a while before they are taken away. You really can't fault the food here it's excellent and well worth the money. I understand from the management that they are getting new staff that will be trained to a higher standard. I will give this place eight out of 10 only because the service is not up to the price. Price is prixe frie $25 per lunch and $45 for dinner plus drinks tax and tip. You really should try this once at least.

This place is amazing unless you're vegan. Meat upon delicious meat made its way to our table. Once we mentioned that we prefered our meat rare, the servers went out of their way to bring us skewer after skewer of rare meat. And the grilled pineapple was the perfect finish. We will be back!

I have been to Flame & Fire two times now, my wife, three. The first visit was on a weekend during lunch rush. Our wait was only fifteen minutes - understandable with no reservation. Our table was clean and attractively set. One down side on being seated was that there was no explanation of the self serve / Gaucho serve process. The sides bar was clean and well-stocked, and housed a good variety of foods. I particularly enjoyed the potatoes. The meat service is excellent. There is a steady stream of meat varieties. Most of them are really good, though the pork - while flavorful - is very tough. The ribs are amazing, and the simple variety is awesome. At any time, you can ask for something and they will shortly bring it around. We asked for the pineapple three times! The only complaint I truly have stems from my second visit. We went for my son's tenth birthday (at his request) and I had to ask twice, and my wife a third time to get him recognized for his birthday. When they finally brought his birthday dessert (an impressive ice cream sundae), only our waitress was available to sing for him. On our first visit, we had seen three tables receive a full Brazilian chorus. Other than that, we find our experiences here enjoyable and look forward to our next visit.

I've had my share of Brazilian in CA (both South and North), and the one we frequent was usually is Espestus in either San Bruno, CA or San Francisco, CA locations. Impressive meats, salads, authentic Brazilian dishes and desserts. The only thing(s) that kept us from going there often was( #1) distance from Sac, and (#2) price. With that being said, Flame Fire is surprisingly amazing. My husband and I decided last minute last Saturday late morning to have lunch there. We've heard all the talk and hype leading to this visit for months. So lets get to it... Meats: Flavorful, not over powering with seasonings. Just the right texture and taste for every type or beef, pork, and chicken. Fave meat? Top Sirloin Salad Bar: Just enough variety for the palate, too much can be just way too much since it is an all-you-can-eat establishment. Fave? the variety of cheeses and home-made condiments. Side dishes/appetizers: We were offered their Brazilian Cheese Balls, plantains, and mashed potatoes...all savory! All faves here, just don't let your Brazilian Cheese Balls get cold, the texture becomes doughy-like. Desserts: Honestly, there wasn't enough room to eat dessert. After the meat feast, plus salad and appetizers, it was hard to say no, but we did. I will note a couple things that are a plus. The servers are VERY attentive and make sure the water glasses are topped (this is important to me on summer days). The last thing, which I think is the best...their grilled pineapple. This is served on a sword like the other meats, but you can't miss it. Grilled over open flame, seasoned with cinnamon..absolute to die for. I've always had them just grilled, which was just enough as a dessert, but when they added the cinnamon, it took it to another level. This was way dessert had no room that day. Lastly, to those who are interested in how clean their restrooms were, and I've only been to their ladies room only...they are clean :) Tidy, smells clean and sink counters were not filled with reminants of others that don't clean/wipe up after themselves after washing their hands.

Just had my first lunch here today and as Yelp rates it," Woohoo! As good as it gets!." From the vastly diverse salad offerings to the unlimited varieties of meats, there can be no better value in my eyes than this Brazilian steak house. The meats were charbroiled to perfection (various cuts of beef, chicken, pork, and lamb). The salad bar was stocked, prepared, and presented exquisitely. Coupled with their pleasant and wonderfully receptive staff, the relaxed atmosphere make this the top restaurant in Roseville, imho. Moreover, their unpretentious ambiance is well suited to our taste and inclination. My wife and I rate this place at the top of our best places for lunch--don't know if this says much but I was really excited to share this review with you. I wish you have the same feeling if ever you try this place out.

4 stars only because we had a reservation @9pm & still had to wait 20 minutes. In that time they invited us to sit at the bar, so we ordered drinks & the bartender was very quick & nice to help us pick out what we'd like. Once we got seated it was a few more minutes until our server helped us, it was pretty busy. The salad bar has a huge selection of yummy sides for the meat. Once the meat started coming around we couldn't get enough! It was all soooo yummy! Although it was very salty, I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing... The lamb chops were my favorite! I'm not sure if I would come back to this specific location, but I would deff recommend it to anyone! I hear Espetus in SF has a bigger selection of meats so I'll have to try that next! Save it for a special occasion! Pricey but well worth it

first off, im happy that a brazilian steakhouse finally opened up close to sacramento. when i travel out of town i can easily find one on L.A. or Vegas area. so when i heard that they had one in roseville i had to try it! beside waiting few minutes after entering to be greeted, the service overall was good. the meats were great i think the best cut i had was the top sirloin. the cheese rolls were tiny and delicious. now the disappointing part,... the salad bar was the smallest out of everywhere i tried. not that many option of things. and nowhere did i see and sauces to eat with the cuts of meats. so i opt and ate it with something similiar to pico de gallo lol. if i was to come back it would have to be when im really craving for brazilian and i know i wont be traveling out of town soon. and around lunch time.

THIS IS A LUNCH REVIEW. this is a lunch review. A Brazilian steakhouse near Sacramento? Great. First, I must ask, is Roseville considered near Sacramento? If so, we are all near the planet Venus. One trip is shorter than the other, with fewer stars. Second, even I can't complain about the trip when at the other end of the drive past civilization and that massive mall I was sure was the site of this restaurant, is oh so delicious meat as a Lunchtime Special. $25 for AYCE meat? That's as sweet as a midday caipirinha and cinnamon roasted pineapples. Third, I made reservations but that was academic. There was space and since this was the centerpiece of a lazy drive for a birthday surprise, it was nice to have a relaxed atmosphere which the staff and our lovely server kept throughout our carnivorous gorging. Fourth, I can imagine this place gets crazy at night and on weekends, but to me if you're going to fall off the vegetarian wagon, you want to give yourself time and a calm space to stuff your face with bacon-wrapped chicken, garlic-infused flank steak and parmesan pork. Also, lunch is about $25 rather than $45 a person, which you could use for another caipirinha.

It was okay. Having gone to other Brazilian Steakhouses such as Texas de Brazil, Fogo de Chao and Rodizzio Grill, this was somewhat of a let down, service was okay and the salad bar needs some major improvement! Meat was good as is to be expected but the meat seemed to be either overcooked or rare. Also, the gauchos didn't make enough rounds because the sausage was offered once and the chicken was offered about 6 times. Glad we went using a Living Social Deal. Not sure how quickly we will return.

We were so excited to find that we have a Brazilian BBQ again in the Sacramento area since Taste of Brazil closed a few years ago. The restaurant is decorated well and has a nice atmosphere. When we first got there the hostess was on the phone talking to someone and we waited for awhile and was wondering why some of the other people couldn't seat us but, it was not that big of a deal. Some said the salad bar was small but, it did have my favorites tabbouleh, collard greens, salpicao (Brazilian chicken salad), and a few other things that I usually get so no complaints there. I didn't try the rice or beans tonight and would have preferred having feijoada but, we learned later that they only have it on Friday and Saturday which is reasonable since Espetus in SF doesn't serve it every day. Our server (not the meat passer) was good although when I asked her how many types of meat there are her answer wasn't too helpful. It was more of what they had like chicken, beef, lamb, and that the person would tell us what they are holding. Since, we've been to many Brazilian BBQ places we already had some idea. While I was not expecting her to name off every single item it would have been nice to have been given an approximate number. So, here's a list of what we had or seen come by: * Tri-tip * Filet mignon wrapped with bacon * Filet mignon * Chicken wrapped with bacon * Parmesan pork * Picanha (top sirloin) * Flap steak * Sausage * Leg of lamb * Lamb chop * Grilled pineapple w/brown sugar and cinnamon (We only had it this way when Paulo owned Taste of Brazil in Sacramento. All others the pineapple is plain) * Garlic steak * Pork ribs * Chicken leg There may be more but, this is what we can remember. In addition to the salad bar you get fried banana which we liked better than other places because this place did not have a breading around their fried banana. Also with the banana you get pao de queijo (cheese bread) the bread was good but not as light and airy as I've had it at other places but still good. The gauchos (meat passers) were great and very friendly and checked in to see how we were doing and made sure that we had the meats that we wanted. Overall, it was a great experience and I would recommend going there. This will now be our place to get our monthly Brazilian BBQ fix since it is a lot closer than Espetus (in SF or San Bruno) which makes it somewhat cheaper and this place does not have the Healthy San Francisco Tax (for obvious reasons). If you love meat you will love this place ... Makes for a great date night or to just eat with some friends enjoy the great selection of meat with a caipininha (Brazil's national cocktail).

So fun! Ate until I couldn't anymore, and environment was classy yet relaxed. I can't say enough about how much fun I had being catered and eating haha, I'll add a picture of the menu and what we had. The cheesecake was bomb and the top sirloin was TO DIE FOR. That was my favorite.

Really great service, everyone is super nice and checks up on you. My favorite was the top sirloin and the grilled pineapple with cinnamon. Ordered dessert, passionfruit mouse, was super good and I highly recommend it. The lamb however, was pretty old so when I come back, I'll stay away; can't say that it's like that all the time though since it was only my first time.

We came here for our anniversary lunch - a perfect choice. The staff was amazing, very attentive and friendly. There are several things that I just loved about this place. The ambiance is perfect. It's romantic and refined, but they also appear to be somewhat family friendly. Children 0-7 are free, and 8 and up at half price. There were a few kids in the dining room and I don't think it detracted at all from our romantic lunch (kudos goes to the parents as well on that one I'm sure). Everything on the salad bar was fresh and delicious. A good variety and interesting combinations. I loved the cheese bread that placed at our table as well as the mashed potatoes and fried bananas. The whole selection of foods really complimented each other and was of obvious high quality. The servers were really courteous and asked us how we liked our meat cooked so that they could make sure to slice the best selections for us. Our favorite was the lamb and the bottom sirloin. Mouthwatering. I actually liked all the meats and felt it was a great variety. The grilled pineapple was delicious to top it all off. I couldn't have asked for a better anniversary meal and we'll definitely be returning.

This is a nice upscale restaurant with a very pleasant experience. There is a loaded salad bar with a lot of variety of things such as pastas, cheese and salami to go along with all the different meats you could taste. It's $45 per person for their dinner menu. It includes all you can taste/eat meats and salad bar. Drinks and desserts are not included. I tried at least 10-15 different types of Brazilian types of cooked meat. The ones you sampled and liked you could always ask for more. Our server was very attentive and the guys who came around with the meat sticks were always coming by to check on if we wanted more. I came here for my bday and the staff sang happy bday to me in Portuguese which was fun. I also got a complimentary ice cream dessert. Overall it was a nice experience.

Very nice dinner or lunch establishment. They are pricey but so worth it for an all you can eat. All the meat they bring around is fresh and hot not to mention juicy. The assortment from salads and meat to drinks and dessert are fantastic. I will be back again just make sure you bring a big pocket book & a big appetite!

Avoid salad bar, rolls, etc until after you eat most of your meat that keeps coming around on skewers. You get all you want of about 10 kinds of roasted meat. Have a little salad bar once you begin to fill up on meat. It's a nice and fun place but way over priced at $45 for dinner and $29 for salad bar only. Lunch $29 and $19 for salad bar only. If you are fat with cash it might be a 4 star for you. But on normal budget it is a 3 star based on price. Staff was wonderful and all the waiters running around with racks of meat were like watching a ballet.

This is a hard one to review because we've been to many Churrascaria's before and the atmosphere in each one is bound to be different. If we had never been to one we might have given Flame and Fire five stars . We went today to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. The salad bar was great. Other ones were more extensive but really? You're there for the love of MEAT! The meat could have been quicker. From other reviews it does not seem like we were there on an overwhelming day but that slow is the norm. I thought the meat was fine especially the top steak and lamb. In general I prefer a lighter, more fun atmosphere at a Churrascaria. At the end our server said Happy Birthday to my husband and told him he gets ice cream for the occasion. We paid the bill and waited 20 minutes with 3 servers coming over saying just a few more minutes on the ice cream. We were stuffed and not concerned about ice cream so decided to simply leave without it but it was a negative. I am jaded from having other experiences and did enjoy our lunch but it fell short but am glad Roseville has a decent Churrascaria. I do think the owner should address the negative comments on Yelp as only responding to the positive one's appears pompous.

We first tried a Brazilian steakhouse in Cancun, Mexico, of all places. Decided to give this place a try, since it's close by our home. We weren't disappointed! We went for our anniversary and had a wonderful dinner. Every single meat we tried was great; no disappointments in the bunch. Even the salad bar items were really good. Friendly and attentive service made for the perfect anniversary meal. We will definitely be going back! Be sure to make reservations. The place quickly filled up when we were there, so the word is clearly out on this place.

If you love to eat beef this is your kind of place. Food is awesome and plentiful. It is a little pricy for lunch $25 but well worth it. They have salads, veggies at a buffet then you are treated to chicken, pork, and a variety of beefs. Service is the best I have seen in a restaurant. Give this place a try you will love it.

Try this place! It seems a bit of a "buffet " at first -an expensive buffet but it is very fresh and very good and you will not be disappointed. One other thing - don't go in a hurry. Spend time and wait for the variety if meats. It is a dining experience as much as a meal.

So here's the thing.....I REALLY wanted to looooove this place. In all fairness, my dad is from Brazil and I've been there tons of times and have had the most amazing churrasco there. I have also been to a few churrascarias in the bay area and this one just didn't fully meet my expectations, unfortunately. The side dishes/salad bar didn't hardly have a thing that I recognized as Brazilian. No palmito, Brazilian potato salad, salted cod.... The things they did have there were kinda generic looking and tasting. I realize people come for the meats but as a person who looooves the other Brazilian dishes/specialties, I was sad to see those were missing. Also, the tables were quite cramped and difficult at times for the gauchos to bring the meats to the table. However, the decor was very nice, modern....upscale looking. The staff was friendly....and new of course....but nice. The meats were very actually very tasty.... picanha, chicken wrapped in bacon, lamb, garlic steak, crunchy chicken wings, flank steak and pork ribs (kinda dry), sausage (although I think it was more like Italian than Brazilian). No chicken hearts, however, I hear they'll have those soon by request..... reeeeally wanted those!!!! There was also fabulous grilled pineapple, little cheesy ball breads, and my fave....cinnamon coated bananas. So even though the meats and a couple extras were very good, I only gave 3 stars because the lack of the salad bar and how very expensive this place is for what you get. The child prices are extremely expensive as well. For kids 8-12, it's $22.50 for dinner. I don't know about u but my kids couldn't possibly eat that much food or anything close...especially since there weren't many kid friendly sides at the salad bar. The places in the bay area are much better and run the same price and some even less. Since when do Roseville prices equal Palo Alto prices??? The only way I'd go back is for their less expensive lunch time, which I believe is $20.

  • Stan J.

Definitely expected more out of this new destination based on the white tablecloths and nice decor. We'll just talk about the meat since you don't go to a Brazilian Churrasqueira to eat the sides. Bottom line, 98% of the meats were over salted. The Pork and the chicken were both dry. Best meat was the "house specialty" Top Sirloin , but that was only the best because I'm grading on the curve. Service was very good which saved this place from a 1 star. If you want all you can eat beef, save your money and go to Home Town Buffet on prime rib night.

Quite awesome. The lunch prices are very reasonable, the staff are all friendly and attentive. The meat was all good quality, I was surprised they had lamb for lunch which was pretty cool (the steak house in the city I live in only does that for dinner). The only recommendations I would make is that if they served the cheese bread warm it would be much more delicious (still, it wasn't bad). Also it's too bad there is no polenta as appetizer. Finally, I wish they had some roasted garlic in the salad bar, which is one of my favorite items. However, these are small points, in general it was great!

Came for lunch, the salad bar was fresh and amazing with authentic Brazilian dishes to try. Once the meats starting coming it was over. From bacon wrapped chicken, sausages, sirloin, parmasean chicken, lamb, grilled pineapple in cinnamon. I mean if you want great food, very good service and just a nice restaurant in general I highly recommend. We will definitely be coming back.

I was SO happy when I heard this place was coming, and right down the street from my house no less! (Dangerous) Brazillian style steakhouses like this are my favorite places to eat. Ive been to several different ones in Dallas and have been waiting for one to open in the Sacramento area for years. I am going to tell it like it is... The food: 9 out of 10 All of the meats were awesome except the ribs I tried were burnt to a crisp but still tasted good. My favorites were the picanha, garlic steak, and of course the filet. Fried bananas were off the hook and the salad bar had a great selection. Dont eat too much from there or you will get full before you get all the glorious meat! The staff: 8 out of 10 Awesome people and very friendly. It was the grand opening so I wasnt expecting perfection but I could tell they were still working out the kinks. If you sit at a table near the back you might get skipped a lot when the carvers come around but that is easily fixed. The layout: 5 out of 10 This can be easily fixed as well. The tables were set up too close together making it almost impossible to get out of your seat to go to the salad bar and I felt really bad for the gauchos that had to weave in and out of the chairs with no room to spare. That is the largest problem I saw while we were there. The verdict: With a few small tweaks and a few more services I can see this place becoming a family favorite and is already my new favorite restaurant! If you haven't been, GO! I look forward to being a regular customer at Flame & Fire!

I absolutely love a good Brazilian Steakhouse so I was thrilled to hear about this new restaurant so close home. However, I was left wanting more. Service was super slow, so we spend most of our time waiting for the meats to come out. I must say that a few of the meats were tasty and tender and the side if mashed potatoes and banana was good as well. However by the time the meat came out my sides were cold and by the time the waitress brought out more sides my meat was cold. Overall I don't believe I will return any time soon. My kids didn't enjoy it as much either.

I had dinner here recently, and I must say, I was very disappointed. Their meat selection was just ok and the quality of their meats weren't that great. I've dined at Espetus Churrascaria Brazilian Steakhouse in SF, so maybe my expectations for Flames and Fire were just too high. The service was good. The salad bar was a waste of time. The hot foods section consisted of black beans, pinto beans, white rice, and I guess cheese cauliflower? I'm not entirely sure because it was empty, but I did overhear another diner asking about it and the waiter told her the chefs wouldn't be making more. It was only 730 pm! Lastly, it was way too pricey for the quality, variety, and tastefulness of food offered. This place just wasn't my cup of tea. When you've had one of the best, you just can't settle for anything less.

Word can't describe this place. You HAVE to go and try it for yourself. If you like the Brazilian style restaurants or if you've never experienced one, I highly recommend this place. Everything from the food, service, & atmosphere are 5 stars in my opinion. Go and try it out today, you won't be disappointed.

Had a chance to have a nice dinner at this Roseville establishment last week. There is NOT a single thing that stood out to be less than great. The only reason I'm docking a star is because of the true five star churrascarias I've had the honors to dine at out of town. Service was excellent, the food was great and the selection was ample. The salad bar was well maintained, fresh and pleasing to the eye. Who knew such a nice place would open here in the 'burbs?! We had a birthday girl at our table and she got complimentary ice cream and a Brazilian Happy Birthday song performed by the multitalented staff. Very happy with the experience and hopefully they're here to stay.

Our waitress Aryanna was amazing. For her young age she carried herself professionally and really made it feel like a fine dining experience. I will let you make your own determination on food and decor.

As far as churrascaria's go, this was a huge let down. I did manage to stuff my face full of every meat they had to offer, and try as I might I was unable to find one that I thought was above average. Each and every item I could easily make on my own grill with simple seasoning and average quality meat. I was also let down by the salad bar. I would expect some Brazilian themed items, or at least some upscale food, not something I could find at a Sizzler.

My food was excellent. It never stops coming. You can have as much meats as you wish. I thought I died and went to heaven when the lamb chops came out on a stick and they asked me how many I wanted! Everything I tasted was flavorful and down right tasty. I went here for my birthday dinner and would pick it again. It was fun and a great atmosphere. The waiters were very informative. They were quite busy but that did not stop our food from coming quickly and the constant attention to our table. Enjoy. Trust me it's worth every penny

Being from San Francisco living in Davis, I was happy to see that a Brazilian place opened up somewhat near me. This place was classy and clean. The meat was delicious. The only problem I had was that they claim to have 15 kinds of meat but during our dinner, some of the same meat dishes came around multiple times. Another thing was that one of the waiter (the older one) did not have really good knife skills. I was afraid to get stabbed. Overall delicious food and nice atmosphere.

I've been to a few Brazillian BBQ places, and this one failed to exceed the other experiences I've had. The choice of meats, and quality of meats were mediocre at best. There were three cuts of beef to choose from (top sirloin being their "top" choice), two chicken choices, and two pork selections. My wife took me for my birthday lunch, and we were basically ignored by the servers for the first 15 minutes after sitting down. They seem to only have two servers too, during a busy lunch hour, so by the time they served the outside tables, they were out of meat. It wasn't until my wife asked our waiter that we started receiving better service. Too bad this is the only churrascaria place in the area.

Went here for a special occassion dinner with my wife. Overall it was a good experience. The atomosphere was nice and quiet with background music playing at a very low volume (the way it should be. I feel most restaurants have the music volume turned up way too loud). The way the tables were arranged and the surroundings felt a little cold. There is no carpeting and I thought the place could use some cozy booths. On to the food. The salad/side dish bar was very nice with a good selection of cheeses, fruits, salads, etc. It was hard not to fill my plate up, because I wanted to save plenty of room for the main dish; the meats. I particularly loved the proscuitto and artichoke hearts. I thought the black beans had too much garlic flavor (I'm not a huge garlic fan anyways). The meat was good quality, but not super great. We started off with the bacon wrapped chicken. It was tender and very tasty. The garlic steak was not very tender and had a lot of fat and grissle. Top sirloin is thier signature meat and it was very tender and delicious. The variety of meats was vast with just about everything that would please everybody. One thing I particularly liked about this style of restaurant (Churrascaria), is the variety of flavors you experience thorughout the meal. Your taste buds never get board! One of the best things we liked was the warm cinnimon pineapple. We ended up having three or four servings over the course of the meal. They are very accommodating about the doneness of the meat. Most of the meat is cooked standard as rare to medium rare. If you want the meat cooked a little more, they will cook it to your liking; no problems. The service was top notch and very professional. The only problem we had was when it came time to pay. Their computer system was having problems, so there was about a 20 minute delay to process the gift card. However, several times during the wait they came to my table and appologized and provided me with an update. There were computer problems about a month earlier when I purchased the gift card, so the computer problems seem to be ongoing. I would suggest they fix this problem if they want to maintatin a good reputation. I would definitely go back, but most likely for special occassions, since it is a little on the high side for cost.

I searched high and low in the Sacramento Area for a Brazillian Churrascarria and was pleasantly surprised when one opened up near by. The place was pretty, clean, elegant, and cozy. The salad bar offered an assortment of meat and cheese platters, array of salads, side dishes were good, but nothing really stood out. There were about 7 different types of meat that was served that night, but my absolute favorite was the lamb. It was juicy and seasoned just right. I was underwhelmed with the other meats because it was all a little overcooked, but if I came earlier in the night, then it probably would have been better. This place is good and priced well compared to Espetus in San Francisco, but isn't as good. I would definitely eat here again and I'm sure because it's a newer establishment, it'll improve.

I really liked the meat. The salad bar was ok. Service was friendly. The only problem is the price ($45). I feel that we could have spent the same amount of money at a true steakhouse with higher quality food. We live in the neighborhood and like to support local restaurants. But unless the price becomes reasonable, we won't return.

We came here for dinner for a birthday celebration. We had a party of 6 people. The salad bar selection was okay, the items were fresh. Nothing to write home about. The meat selection was decent. I enjoyed the steak, pineapple and the wings. The food was good but not amazing. We ordered drinks and the mix drinks were strong, which was a good thing. However, it didn't taste good. I sent back their Brazilian Limon Drop and got a regular Lemon drop. It wasn't sweet enough. Still disappointed in my drink. Last, the service was lacking. The girl that served us was friendly. However, the service was VERY VERY SLOW. We ask for bananas and meat. The meat never came, the bananas came after I asking several people. They did bring us ice cream and sang happy birthday. We ask for our bill 3 times and after waiting another 30 minutes. We were finished eating at 10:00pm, we started at 7:15pm. We were done eating less than 2 hours, rest was just waiting around. We were restless in the end. Please improve on service!!

I've been to Brazilian steakhouses in the Bahamas, Las Vegas, New York and San Francisco. Let me just say this place was classy and excellent. The food was better than all the other places I've been to and the service was great. I highly recommend it. I will be coming back often. Great place for couples and the entire family the kids love it. It's also cheaper than the ones in Bay Area. Finally a great Brazilian steakhouse in the area!!!

Lunched with friends today and totally enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Disappointed that the dessert of choice was not available, but we made do with the ice cream and fried bananas instead!

To be 100% honest this place just doesn't compare to what's available in SF. The salad selection was so so and the meats were a step below Texas de Brazil or Fogo. Let's start with the salad bar. The salads (spinach/Caesar) looked wilted. The quinoa salad was disappointing. Broccolli salad and artichoke salad were great. The mashed potatoes were incredibly buttery and delicious. Fried bananas were were good. Let's get to the meats Anything with a Parmesan coat was forgettable. The Parmesan pork was dry and bland, Anything that bacon wrapped was great. Bacon wrapped filet and chicken was awesome. Bacon wrapped anything is awesome, The garlic strip steak we incredible. There was also a cut of strip steak that was cooked medium rare. It was very tender and juicy. Overall, they're the only show in Roseville. If you got a Brazilian cravings Roseville, go! Otherwise wait until you're in sf or vegas.

Here's what you need to know about Flame and Fire. Brazilian steakhouses traditionally are all you can eat and feature lavish salad bars and grilled meats carved at your table. F&F is no exception. I've been to a number of these places and while the variety of meats at their lunch seating was lower than other places I've been to, it was adequate. Some other rodizio I've had included chicken and beef heart, chicken liver, a variety of sausage and ribs, etc. You're seated, there IS a menu that describes lunch and dinner pricing and a la carte drinks and desserts. Your place setting is equipped with a little plastic card that's green on one side (keep bringing me meat!) and red on the other to indicate you're done or at least holding off a bit. You also have a tiny pair of tongs for grabbing the slices of meat as the gaucho cuts it. Go to the salad bar and get a plate. Hot foods included rice, beans, collard greens and creamed corn. Cold items included salami, ham, various cheeses, artichoke hearts, brussels sprouts, various slaws, salads, pasta salad, broccoli salad, salsa...30+ items in all. Everything looked clean and fresh. You can have the salad bar alone for about half the meal price and you'd most likely be very satisfied by the variety and flavors. Once back at your table, the meat barrage will commence. Lunch is $25 and dinner is $45, kids are half price, very young kids are free. I noted more than a couple of tables with mom and dad and 2-4 small kids. Nice variety freebie food for those with families. My 9 year old was $12.50 and he ate a little of everything. Definitely got his money's worth. You're paying extra for a food experience as you do with a place like Benihana. Consider it a dim sum steakhouse. Our lunch included 3 kinds of beef, sausage, lamb, chicken wrapped in bacon, parmesan crusted wings, and pork tenderloin. Dinner adds filet mignon and a handful of other meats like lamb chops, pork ribs and tri-tip. All were well seasoned but I don't feel the salt level was too high. The parmesan wings were salty, but they were coated with salty cheese so that's to be expected. Each is brought to your table on a little sword, small pieces are slid off onto your plate, larger roasts are sliced while you grab one end with your tongs. You can have as much or as little as you want, and we saw each item return 5-6 times while we were seated. I'd recommend you go for lunch since the experience is about the same minus a few types of meat and the price is much lower. The way I looked at it, I could pay $25 for a steak and a few sides at a steakhouse. Between the meat choices, the extensive salad bar choices and all you can eat, this is a better option. We went a bit before noon and their front room was about half full and never hit full while we were there. You'll also be served little cheese bread muffins, parmesan crusted fried polenta sticks, and deep fried bananas, all included with the meal. Grilled whole pineapple is also sliced between meat courses. The service was a little slow around seating and ordering drinks but not onerously so. The meats came out rapid fire and we were often encouraged to ask for what we liked to make a return trip. I went with my 80 year old dad and 9 year old son. We all enjoyed it and will go again, just probably not every week. They had a table for 8 laid out for a large group that arrived just ahead of us and it looked like they had at least one or two other rooms they weren't using so large groups reserved in advance shouldn't be a problem. Good spot for a dinner date. Vegetarians will be thrilled by the variety of non meat items and carnivores will feel quite at home. Good for a guys night out. Great for families with young kids.

Went to Flame & Fire with my honey on Thanksgiving. It was very nicely decorated and a very nice upscale feel. They had a decent wine selection and a small but good beer selection. For those who have never been to Brazilian Steakhouse, there is a usually a nice all u can eat salad bar and then all you can eat proteins delivered to you table side on giant skewers and the server shaves of a hunk of meat onto you plate as many times as you can handle. Today they had nice fresh turkey breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, sweet potatoes, stuffing(my favorite side), and rice in addition to the regular salad bar. Now you get a little coin or chip that tells the servers you are ready for the onslaught of meat that you can flip over when you've had enough. The variety of meats today were awesome. Everything from sausage to bacon wrapped filet to lamb to pork to bacon wrapped chicken. It was carnivorous bliss!! They also brought around a grilled pineapple that my wife could not get enough of. Her fave of the night. She also got the flan and it was awesome!! A must try and if you want an upscale quality all you can eat carnivore experience, run to Flame & Fire!!

Went here last night. The service was great, best I have had in a long time. The food was mediocre. Meat was dry in most cases, especially the pork. Salad bar was nothing special, I didn't get wowed by anything on it. Cheese bread was alright, polenta was bland. Fried bananas and grilled pineapple were good. Had I paid $25 for my meal I'd have been slightly disappointed, but for $45 I was really disappointed. I won't be back. Place gets two stars for food and four stars for service, so a three star review.

OMG!!! Delicious and amazing presentation! You are the master of the meats. Pick and choose from an amazing selection on beautifully crafted meats brought tableside for your selection. The salad bar has an amazing lineup as well that offers some main dishes as well. The star of the show though is the grilled glazed pineapple! So juicy and so flavorful. Thanks JC for the amazing service and we'll definitely be back for dinner to see the full spread. And thank the bartender for a wonderful Caipirinha!

First time trying Brazilian BBQ. This is also the first time having bbq all you can eat where you don't have to go get the food rather the servers come along and serve you, it's like the buffet comes to you. Came in on a week day with reservation and had immediate seating. They have a salad bar and some warm food that is off to the corner. I like to start with that. They also have appetizers included polenta, fried plantains, and cheesey tapioca bread. Then when the servers come to you it is open season on the bbq. They use a Yes/No coin-flip chip system worked alright, and the main waitress was readily available for special meat type requests or drink/appetizer refills. They had like 10 different types of meat in circulation all of them are a must try and some other must get several times. Depending on the day they will be serving different type of meat and different cuts. Also, some are wrapped in bacon to give it a different taste. To finish it of I definitely asked for the grilled pineapple to come back to the table a few times Truly filling meal for $50/person plus drinks and dessert, a very nice dining experience.

So disappointed. They were unwilling to accommodate our large party. They said they had the space but didn't want to take a table away from someone who MAY walk in. Poor customer service.

Enjoyed happy hour wine and small bites after work. It is a great place to catch up with a girlfriend after work - was quiet and peaceful on the patio. They have a really nice outdoor patio that is well shaded with comfortable couches and nice ambiance. The service was very friendly and attentive. We had the bacon wrapped chicken and small cheese bread bites. So tasty! I wanted to eat those cheese bites 2 at a time and stuff my face until it hurt. The happy hour wine list is pretty good. I had a chardonnay and was happy with it - generous pour, for sure. I am definitely recommending my friends and colleagues and am interested in coming back for dinner.

I didn't really like the Brazilian steakhouse in this area. They did not have good 'Farrafa' (idk how to spell it) had an extremely weird taste and didn't serve well with all the other foods. However the meat was delicious and the service was fast. The waiters are very plates and the owner is always over seeing everybody in the restaurant. They have a great fireplace that's attached to the wall which gives a very interesting Decour and the room is very open so there's not a big smell to this place. They have a great salad bar selection and potato salad here is amazing. Prices are fairso give this place a try and see if you like it as well. Some of the best noted meets here would be the fillet mignon and the prime rib along with the bacon wrapped meats!

My wife and I returned to this place to finally try this place out. First time we were turned away because they were full. So We made reservations 2 weeks in advance and it was very much worth the wait. It wad whole new experience and a new take on buffets and banquets somewhere intern. Jesse and Ashley were awesomely hospitable. All the men that cut meat at our tables were super nice. Be ready to eat at this place. Food rotates in to your table and a salad bar with tastes for everyone. Don't let the price fool you. Yes on the pricey side but the cuts of meat the bring to your table so perfectly cooked made me feel like I was getting the advantage over them. This is a definite return to restaurant.

The name is Flame Fire Brazilian Steakhouse It's a meat type of a buffet- they bring and carve meat at your table. Food; Fresh and Tasty. Meat was well cooked and well seasoned. We got over a dozen type of meat (maybe even more- I lost count) Clean place Service was great on point and efficient The best buffet I've ever been to- It's a 5 star by buffet standards Kids 7 and under eat free!

The meal and experience were fun. You definitely have to be on your toes when dining here. The meat comes often so there is no shortage of the main courses. The service was great. Me and 9 of my friends went to Flame & Fire on Saturday spent $45.00 a piece. Waiting for the dessert menu, next thing we know the waitress says the kitchen is closed. We spent close to $500.00 and waiting to finish off our meal with a nice dessert and to be told the kitchen is closed. I will never return!

First time coming here and I am glad that I did yelp it . The salad bar was amazing . So many choices to choose from. My husband and I both ended up doing the meat option. Those were so delicious. My favorite was the pineapple with cinnamon. I ended up having 2 of these. I had the chocolate mousse for desert and its small. Service was great and food was amazing.

I brought my father there for his birthday. It was our first time there. It was awesome! The service was great! Very attentive and sweet! The servers bringing out the meat was on top it.....constantly serving, like non-stop. My suggestion is not to get all the meat on your plate all at once. Eat it while its hot, don't let it get cold. Also the outside cuts of the meat is a bit salted since that is how they marinate the meat, so ask the server for an inside cut. Other than that, sooo much selection in the salad bar area and they have hot basmati rice, black beans, creamy fish dish and cream of corn. YUM!!! I will be back! PS. since it was my dad's birthday, they gave him a couple scoops of vanilla ice cream. what is a nice birthday treat! Also, we got 10% off for military discount or senior discount. :)

Very nice birthday dinner there. Our waitress was nice and the meat was hot and juicy. I have dined at many other Charrascarias and this was among the best. The only turnoff was in the bar which was nicely appointed and had an exotic drink menu. What appeared to be the manager barked at the friendly bartenders for leaving drink menus on the bar. Not very professional in front of customers. This at the same time he was consuming 2 seats in the bar with his laptop and paperwork spread all over along with his cardboard Starbuck's cup sitting on the bar. Not appealing to see a nice bar being used as an office. Take it in the back and be nice to your staff!

Excellent. I had never been to a Brazilian Steak House before and the experience and food was top notch. They have a salad bar with different types of salads, gourmet cheeses, veggies and then offer both rice and beans...But an endless supply of meats come to your table. All slowly cooked and off spits. Sirloin, filet, bacon wrapped filet, Parmesan pork & chicken, flank steak, ribs, lamb and then the grilled cinnamon crusted pineapple which is AMAZING. Not cheap but worth the experience.

The food was really good. Service was a equally good. You never really have to wait for them to come around with the meat. The salad bar was awesome, filled with tasty cheeses, cold cuts, olives, and pasta/rice choices. All that being said, I don't think that it's $50 a person great. At those prices, I see this place going the way of the fondue restaurants. Special occasions and once in a long while visits. Hope they stay busy and stay around a while, but it will be quite a while before I go back.

My second or third visit to this restaurant and it just keeps getting better!!! Like always service was superb and so was all 15 meats !! So happy that they have Feijoada on the menu all is good in the universe !! I have been to a lot of Brazilian restaurants and have sampled there versions of FEIJOADA but I must say that this chef has got it down... It was the best I have eaten ever!!! it was that good no that great my hat GO's off to you sir . Stand up and take a bow ... And thank you mono and mike for making this happen..

Service - Good but not good for the price Meat - Dry, over salted, bland taste Salad bar - not that great setting - The restaurant interior seems a little cheap for the price you pay I have been to nearly every Brazilian BBQ. I was excited for this one to come to Roseville but am very disappointing. For the price you pay you can defiantly get better everything. the dinner is worth about $20 not $45

I loved everything about this place except for the wait to be seated. I highly recommend making a reservation. Now on to the food, the salad bar is average compared to other Churrascaria's that I've been to but as long as they have rice and the Brazilian beans, I'm satisfied. It took a minute for the Gaucho's to start serving us Meats but once they started, they didn't stop. The parmesan chicken was my absolute favorite followed by the skirt steak. I'm not much of a Lamb eater but they had a variety of that if you care to indulge. The meat is perfectly seasoned unlike other Brazilian Steakhouses. Lastly, the PINEAPPLE.... oh the pineapple....who needs dessert when they have that sugar/cinnamon pineapple served warm and carved straight to your plate. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the exceptional waitstaff service and I will make every effort to return to Flame and Fire whenever I'm visiting Northern California.

Went here with a fiend on a groupon deal. I loved it. There were a fair amount of people dining that evening but the place was still relatively quite. We were seated quickly, told how the card system worked, asked for drink orders, then we went to the salad bar. Very nice variety of salad bars items. cheeses, meats, soup, dressings. I tried to not fill up on those though So I'd have enough space for all the meats. I'd never been to a Brazilian BBQ Restaurant before so I've nothing to compare it against, but I loved this place. My favorite meat was the bacon wrapped filet. I think my eyes rolled back a bit when I bit into it. I didn't get to try every meat available since I filled up sooner than I expected, but like others have said, the Lamb was my least favorite. It almost tasted fishy to me, which was very weird. The chicken Parmesan was very salty but I still liked it. I forget which meat was rotating around but when it was offered I ended up passing since the meat was more to the rare side and I said I'd wait for something more med-well done. The fellow said ok he'd be back in a few minutes and then about 5 minutes later he comes back with 1 slice med-well done and brings it to me. I was surprised and pleased. All the staff was very pleasant and we had drinks refilled as needed.

Best restaurant in Roseville! Pricey but worth it. If you get the dinner it includes the salad bar, which has the best potato salad, along with many other interesting items. The meat selections they bring to your table are hot and tasty. You barely have time to finish one selection when a server is at your side asking if you would like to try another. We will definitely be back!

Have to say we're a little bit disappointed with the dinner. Went for lunch and loved it, couldn't wait to try out their dinner and met friends there on a Tuesday night. Having read the menu items on the web page I started to decline second helpings of the seven different dishes they brought around but soon discovered this was all they were going to serve. My husband inquired about the filet and they brought some out about ten minutes later. By then we were finished eating. Perhaps it was because it was a Tuesday? Doubt we'll be back for dinner; might try lunch again. The salad bar is less than 'so so', but again items on the on line menu were missing.

I am so glad they finally opened a churrascaria in Roseville! We came here for our anniversary and we had their lunch menu. All the meats we've tasted were great. My favorites are the lamb and the parmesan chicken wings. I like that they cook the meats to several degrees (except the chicken, of course). I prefer medium rare meats so I'm glad you get that option. I also liked their fried pineapple. It's a good contrast to the meats you eat. We were seated promptly and their servers made sure we were well taken cared of. Their salad bar was good but I didn't want to eat too much from there so I can have room for the meats they had. I would definitely come here again.

Meat carved at your side. Do I need to say anything more? Make sure you skip lunch before coming. You'll need all the room you have.

Great place for Picania and Garlic Filet. Some of the meats were under seasoned for Brazilian standard. Pine Apple was incredible! Over all good experience though!

I was very excited to see a Brazilian BBQ steak house coming to Sacramento region. We tried one in New Jersey and loved it. It was time to celebrate the hubby's birthday so we choose to do it there and indicated that it was a birthday celebration. As far as taste goes, I think it's pretty decent. Of course I've never been to Brazil and have no idea whether or not this is "authentic" but the salad bar has a great selection of dishes to choose from. Everything from rice, cheese, actual (more than 5 different types of salad), to meat dish and some interesting looking items (Brazilian or otherwise). I'm not sure I'd pay the price for that salad bar along but it's very good selection nonetheless. The meat themselves taste great. Again, not sure how authentic it is (I do believe parmesan is Italian and not Brazilian but I could be wrong) We have at least three types of steak, chicken, pork, sausage and lamb. One might feel that it's a great selection, but for $45 dollars I admit I was hoping for more variety. I know we didn't taste everything the menu had to offer on the website, and we had to wait quite long in between items at stretch of times. I'd suggest more Gaucho Chefs. Now our server was very friendly, but I am not sure she's well trained. When we asked for a suggestion from the bar that offer more of a authentic Brazilian taste, she's clueless. I understand not everyone drinks, but she should know if there's anything Brazilian. One would do, but she said "I don't drink so I don't know" in a very friendly way but left us deflated. I'm more disappointed at the way she handled it, not that she's not well-trained on the bar menu. The Gaucho Chefs that came to our tables were mostly rushed. I realize they need to get to all the tables (hence more chefs) so they couldn't take a lot of times to ask if an item is really needed. One chef in particular was very friendly (asking if we were waiting on a particular item AND bringing it over moments later or making sure the steak he's offering is how we like it cooked!) but most of them don't make eye contact and ignore the kids on our table. The dinner ended up with a free birthday ice cream which was nice, but the server didn't mention it was free and it was a bit confusing the way she offered. I read we would be offered a birthday song too but she didn't bother either. All in all, noting it on their website about it being a celebration really didn't make a difference. Again, they were all very nice and friendly. The manager/owner even came by and asked if everything was good, and I didn't have time to go through everything on my list with him. Lastly...for $45, can we at least have soft drinks? I had to pay $2 on top of my $45 for a coke? Really? Overall, it was an ok experience, but I may not go back again any time soon because of the distance from me and the cost. Maybe lunch would be more worthwhile.

My parents were in town before leaving with us the next day for a trip to Europe. We wanted to go to Suede Blue but found they had closed. My wife had received a tip from a coworker that this place was great. Upon arrival, the hostess explained the concept: you go get your food (other than the meat) and periodically a server would come around with different choices of meats to try. What I failed to realize was that the cost for this buffet was $45 per person (plus drinks/dessert/tip). The food wasn't bad, but we're not "buffet people". For us it is more about the quality of food and experience than loading up plate after plate. After the meal, my wife ordered the mousse but is was very dense and not that good. Overall - the meats were decent, the buffet starches/salads were o.k. Certainly not worth more than $200 for four dinners. We will not be back.

First off don't expect this to be a "order and get a steak kinda steak house". It's not what it's meant to be. With that said the buffet is very good and offers a variety of regional salads and sides. Next the meat is all on skewers and these waiters are friendly and nice. They cut the meat off the skewers and you eat. And the meat keeps coming until you flip your card and you say no more. If you want more of a skewer they will get it for you. The cinnamon pineapple was great! The cuts are prime cuts and seasoned well, if you want more salt or less they will do that, to me and my partner they hit it right. We had a great experience and will be going again. Oh btw the drinks are good and strong too.

Wow, I'm impressed and that rarely happens. Get in here and eat!!! We came for my wife's birthday and it was a great experience, from the ambient fireplace to the white linens it was classy, cozy and comfy. The salad bar was a mix of small Mediterranean style cheese and meats along with many variations of Brazilian salads and some pretty amazing olives. But seriously hold back on the salad bar and leave room for the main event, skewer after skewer of Glorious Meat. We ate pork, lamb, chicken, bacon and beef, lots and lots of beef I'm not exaggerating every 2 mins we were approached with a new selection and we indulged event tempting skewer that appeared stateside. At first the meat presented to us was med rare and medium but after telling one of the servers we liked it more on the rare side he began to bring out skewers of perfectly pink rare beef. This was so good, I immediately called several friends new to the area and encouraged their next dinning experience to be had here. I'm a fan and I WILL BE BACK!

Great BBQ and BBQ service. Table server was haphazard. Avoid desert... Overpriced and most appear to be purchased. Server admitted the cheesecake I had was brought in. Seemed previously frozen. Half the size of Cheesecake Factory and about 50% more expensive. I will give it another try

This place is fantastic! It was a one price ($45 per) meat eaters paradise! The salad bar that goes with the meats was very diverse with many kinds of offerings. Can't say enough nice thinks about the ambience and decor. Dia our server made the whole experience worthwhile..very friendly and gracious. She made a point with getting our names. Very classy touch with the cloth towels in the restroom. Definitely will be back.

I took my BF who is a big meat eater here for his birthday dinner. He raved about it, and I loved it as well. I've been to this type of restaurant in the past, but this Brazilian Churrascaria Steakhouse was fantastic. Very attentive service, great salad bar and a hugely wide selection of meats. Our favorites were the lamb chops and the bottom round steak. It's not cheap, but definitely worth it for a special occasion meal and we will definitely be back.

I am very happy that there finally is a Brazilian Churrasqueira in the Sacramento area. The food was good, as well as the service. The price was as to be expected. I have no complaints. Two observations were that the place was smaller than I thought it would be, and although good; Fogo de Chao is better. An unusual highlight of the meal was the Lilikoi Mousse we had for dessert :-)

I've now found our ongoing date night spot for my wife and I. Going here, I've found that I absolutely love Brazilian BBQ. Everything they served was spot on and just utterly phenomenal. Roseville/Sacramento has needed a new type of restaurant like this. The service, especially bartenders, were extremely friendly and made our night even more fun. I can't stress enough how great the food is here, looking forward to more nights at Flame and Fire. I know it's a little pricy, but definitely worth it for a monthly date night out without the kids and to have such great food.

This was definitely worth trying. We arrived earlier than planned and armed with a Living Social coupon. We were graciously accommodated. Since we had never been to a Brazilian churrascaria, several very friendly staff explained what to expect, to do, and answered all our questions. The appetizer/salad bar was fresh, extensive, different, with upscale choices, and attractively presented. There were also several hot items next to the salad bar. We were disappointed when told that the feijoada is only served on Fridays and Saturdays. Our server was welcoming and a male, who we assumed to be the manager, went to each table to touch bases with guests, who steadily arrived throughout the evening. The meats were well seasoned and tasty. If your salt intake has to be limited, you might want to call and see if they can make adjustments in seasonings for you. We had small tongs that were used to grasp the meat coming off the skewer. The chicken breast pieces were a bit overcooked but everything else (didn't try the lamb) was moist and delicious. Like pineapples? The fresh grilled pineapple is the bomb! We both decided that we would go back on a Friday or Saturday night, so we could try the feijoada.

First off, I'm Brazilian so I'm going to be more critical than the average customer. Here are the reasons why I'm only giving the place 2 stars: Price: We went for lunch. The price is $25 per person. For me and my husband, we ended up paying $64 for just the two of us, not including tip. This included two guaranas at $3.50 a can. For lunch, in a Roseville strip mall, I think $64 is way too steep of a price to charge... especially when the food was just mediocre. I think $18-$20 would be a better price point for lunch. Food: The food was just ok. I have a lot of criticisms unfortunately. With the exception of the fraldinha (flank steak), all the other meats were poorly prepared. The picanha (top sirloin) was at first way too under cooked and in the next round, completely burnt to a crisp. The picanha is generally considered to be the pinnacle of the meats, and they really need to work on perfecting their cooking of the picanha. Many of the pork & chicken meats were very dry and all of the meats were insufficiently salted and tasted bland. The buffet selections were decent but one thing that kind of annoyed me was that they failed to put the food in the correct order. Rice should be located first, followed by the beans and then the farofa. Instead, I had to bypass the farofa, get my rice and beans, and then cut back in line to put my farofa on top of the rice and beans. It seemed like a rookie mistake. I also found that the black beans they had lacked complete flavor and was extremely watery. I could have gotten better flavor out of a can. Fortunately, they pulled out the feijoada midway through my meal and that was much better, but it was placed first in the lineup resulting in the same jumping back and forth in the line to properly dish my plate. The restaurant should consider adding additional hot items such as stroganoff, or pasta, or potatoes. As expected, the restaurant does provide pao de queijo and fried bananas to each table. They both tasted fine, but all the pao de queijos we received were sunken in the middle as if the kitchen staff pulled them out prematurely. Service & Ambiance: The service was good. The gauchos were very pleasant and once they learned that I was Brazilian did a great job in getting the meats I was most interested in. Our server was good except that it wasn't until nearly 20 minutes into our meal before the pao de queijos and fried bananas showed up. The restaurant layout doesn't seem very well planned out. They didn't maximize their space very well so there weren't a lot of table. Also, they need to provide some seating in their front area for guests to sit while waiting for a table. If the price was more reasonable, I would come again simply because mediocre Brazilian food is still better than no Brazilian food. However, with the price being so high, and the food just mediocre, it is unlikely that I will come again.

Great tasting food and service. Too pricey however for the area. They should be at the fountains. They also need to serve plantains. First Brazilian BBQ I have been to with no plantains. Once again too pricey. Will NOT return unless prices drop.

Check yelp before I planned my mom's birthday dinner. Saw some reviews that said something about being told they needed a reservation. I checked the website, said reservations recommended. My mom and I were unsure about when we would make it there, between 4:30 and 5:00. Since it was early, and I didn't have a concrete time, I didn't make reservations. We end up getting our errands done early and get there right at 4:30. The place was nearly empty. Literally one table sat and we were told there they were booked for the night. I explained what I had check the website and it said that reservations were not required, and when they could fit us in. I explained that it was my mom's birthday, the place was empty etc and expressed some frustration. The manager did seat us after we almost walked away extremely disappointed. Overall, good food. Can run their business better and put reservations required on their site.

I really wanted to try this place on valentine day.. but wasn't able to go because my son had a fever all week long. Anyways.. finally made reservation on a Saturday to go with a girlfriend and my son. We came at 11:30 and this place had a few tables filled already. Glad they gave us a corner table so I can park my stroller on the corner of the table. The waiter came by right away to explain how the food and meat works!!! There are 2 little cards .. yes or no... yes if you still want meat .. or no. I had a chance to try the Carmel Brazilian coffee .. oh my gosh is was soooo good.. not sure what's the correct name but it was first one on the list. My son really enjoy the rice with beef something is white sauce. I didn't get a chance to try their salad bar .. it's hard to grab food and carrying a 15 months around in my arm. But the meat .. wow extremely tasty and good... didn't have a dry piece of meat at all. Sorry no pic because my hands were full .. carrying my son .. lol and trying to eat in the other. I really like there steak.. all of it.. I have like 3-4 serving of meat!!! Yes I came to eat meat.. their sausage was good... but before you leave make sure you try the pineapple with cinnamon .. so darn good. Told hubby I want to come back on Mother Day ((( make sure you make a reservation))) this place will surely be pack on special day.

A little bit overrated in my opinion. The salad bar was pretty extensive and had a great variety. The meats were mostly good. They use several cheaper cuts of meat that didn't really ring any bells for me. The atmosphere is pretty nice and from looking at pictures it seemed like a place to dress nicely to go to but we were easily the most overdressed in their. I'm standing in slacks and a button down next to a dude with cut off acid washed jean shorts, a Nascar shirt with holes and a Nascar hat. Maybe if it were 50 bucks a person i would have expected that but the overall feel of the place did not do it for me at all.

My first time at Flame and Fire was only my second experience with a Brazilian churrascaria, and I was certainly not disappointed! Two of us went for the Rodizio Dinner, which is priced at $45 per person; they give you an option to just do the salad bar for $29 per person. While these prices might seem a bit steep at first glance, the value is ENORMOUS, considering the quality of the product, the vast selection (just glancing at the salad bar I saw feijoada, which is a Brazilian black bean and meat stew that l ADORE, pao de queijo [Brazilian cheese bread, unlike any bread you have ever had], smoked salmon with capers, hearts of palm, prosciutto, ham, three kinds of cheeses, including a huge wedge of parmesan, a multitude of salads and plenty of other items I didn't even get the chance to touch on) and finally the fact that you eat as much as you like! The salad bar alone would have made for a wonderful meal, but I am a meat crazed omnivore and found myself sampling every offering the friendly "gauchos" (the folks who carve the meats for you table side) had to offer. The bacon wrapped filet, house special picanha, Brazilian sausages and the bacon wrapped chicken were my favorites, but it was all wonderful; I must have tried 10-12 and am pretty certain that I didn't try nearly everything! The really impressive thing was the pure quality of all of the meats served. Not only was the food wonderful, but the service was top notch as well; our "table host" was charming and cheerful, with just the right amount of deference expected from a high end concept like Flame and Fire, without crossing the line into putting on airs. The aforementioned "gauchos" who carve the meats table side were all very accommodating and we even got to meet one of the owners, a young man named Emmanuel. Overall the experience was a wonderful one and I am sure that we will be back time and time again. I saw that they have lunch service for only $25, with a slightly smaller selection (I didn't see what the lunch salad bar went for, but whatever it is, I am sure it is well worth it!). A few friends and I who are going to have to stay in the area for Thanksgiving are planning on making reservations for Thanksgiving dinner, as they are doing a special menu... I am certain it will be something special!

Food is great, service is very good. upkeep of the dining room is pretty good - it was clean but the pictures on the wall were crooked and the lamp over our table had the lamp shade broken and it looked like it was going to fall right on top of us. Too expensive. I will definitely go again if I find a good discount coupon.

Came here for lunch. Deduct one-star for the wait service. Love the fast service from the gauchos. You can simply eat what's on the skewer or ask them to come back and ask for different wellness of meats. All meats perfectly cooked, great roasted pineapple. We were a group of 8 that sat in one of the rooms off the main room. It seemed semi-private and we even had a big screen TV to watch the Giants/Nationals game. Had a small problem waiting for the coffee. We ended up getting the coffee for free and many apologies.

I want this place to survive; I've been waiting for so damn long to have a good churrascaria in the Roseville/Sac area. Having said that I've been to plenty of churrascarias in the southern part of Brazil (Porto Alegre and Caxias do Sul) and a handful in the Bay Are and LA as well, and I wasn't madly in love with this place like I wanted to be. The most important part of the meal is obviously the MEAT; and honestly I'd give them a 4-4.5 on the strength of the meat alone which is great! Also the gauchos they had coming around with the meat were well trained, seemed to know their business and super polite and accommodating. That's the good part - now for the not so good... The salad bar was interesting, on the one hand it was cool to see a bunch of cheese at the salad bar and there was no shortage of salads available. Unfortunately a lot of the salads looked a bit generic and many common staples were missing. The black beans and rice were available, but the beans were underwhelming, they needed more love. They needed a better caprese salad than what was there, and they needed some more fruit on it's own as opposed to being stuffed into a myriad of salads. Also, the salads looked a bit... old. I don't mean in the sense that they were bad or would be harmful for you. Perhaps some sort of refrigeration or cooling in the salad bar would remedy this. Also - where the heck was the farinha de mandioca?! :) Our waitress was very nice and extremely attentive... That's awesome. However, she was instructed to deliver a spiel about how churrasco works that went on for about 1-2 minutes; which is a really nice feature particularly for people who have never been to a churrascaria before... But I'd like to request that the boss spend some serious time with his wait-staff working on the pronunciation of these words... I'm not saying that they need perfect pronunciation with a flawless Brazilian Português accent or anything, but they've gotta be able to at least carry off an anglicized version of the words. Picanha (pea-cahn-yah) became "po-cuhn-uh" and I couldn't even tell what the hell came out when she said "churrascaria" but it was a ways off. I'm not trying to be a jerk here, but if the staff is gonna give a speech, help 'em out more with their phonics a bit. Shoot, I'LL help 'em out a bit if you're too busy... Will work for food! :) Look, churrasco isn't cheap, even in Brazil these days - but with a little bit of work I feel that this place will be able to live up to the preponderance of 5 star reviews already lavished upon it.

I had very high hopes for this place since the only "Latin" places in this area are Mexican restaurants. Roseville desperately needed more South American dining options. My first impression upon entering was that it looked high end and elegant. My next thought was "is this a Brazilian restaurant or just another fancy bistro?" Besides the large painting near the salad bar of a guacho you can't tell you're in a Brazilian restaurant with the current decor. I was also expecting to hear Brazilian music at least but heard nothing playing. This place lacks identity, especially considering the World Cup is being hosted by Brazil!! Cmon people, show some national pride! Now on to the food. We went for lunch around 1pm. The salad bar was ok as I was expecting more "authentic" dishes like hearts of palm etc. Everything was presented well but again, I couldn't tell I was in a Brazilian restaurant with the options offered. The meats were very tasty and seasoned perfectly. The sausage tasted more like an Italian sausage than Brazilian. The service was excellent and very attentive. No issues whatsoever there. Would I go back? I am on the fence to be honest. I for sure wouldn't go for dinner at $45 a person!!

This is the same concept as the Brazilian steakhouse chains you might be familiar with, such as Texas de Brazil or Fogo de Chao. I'm going to review the restaurant, not the concept. Having dined at many different churrascarias (in Philadelphia, San Antonio, Las Vegas, Palo Alto, and Orlando), this one is comparable, although smaller. The salad bar is nice, and the rodizio (dinner) had the standard repertoire of grilled meats (sirloin, tri tip, flank steak, filet, bacon wrapped chicken, sausage, lamb chop, rib, and chicken wing). The meats were seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The grilled pineapple is a family favorite, as are the fried bananas and cheese rolls. Kids are free under the age of 7, which made this a very fun and special dinner for my family. Still, I don't see how they'll last very long...suburban Roseville is a tough market for such a high-end food destination. The Melting Pot didn't last long in Rocklin, for the same reason. In short, this is a great 'special occasion' restaurant that everyone should experience at least once.

F&F better then most in this area. Nice to have a linen table cloth and napkin - not as common as it should be around Roseville. We had a 9:30 reservation so the place was not crowded. The mall based restaurant is somewhat cavernous and I could imagine it being quite noisy during peak hours. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The salad bar was extensive and the food fresh. Servers brought around meat. It was all tasty and lean, but perhaps due to the late hour it was mostly well done. I may sound a bit bitchy in my review but in all we enjoyed the experience and would come back at some time.

I have been to Brazilian steakhouses before so I am well aware of the concept and food served. Certain cuts of the meat was dry and chewy. The side dishes were weak and it was disappointing overall as well as expensive. I will not be going back again.

First time here and the food and service was amazing. The salad bar portion was filled with high quality items. The meat coming around was amazing. The drink prices very reasonable . Must get the pineapple with cinnamon and sugar-tastes like warm apple pie. Waiters kept water full and meat serves kept you full of different meat entries .

Food is awesome and so is service. One star deducted for ambiance. For the price of food the chairs and tables look cheap and it keeps sliding, it's an accident waiting to happen. Doesn't have a cozy feel inside. Other than that service is excellent, good quality of meat and salad bar has a lot of choices. The house special w/c is the sirloin is yummy and so is the bacon wrapped chicken. Everything is juicy and cooked to perfection. Very happy to see rice as one of their sides! Will definitely be back, hope a lot of people will try this place so they can make it. A lot of businesses there closed down and hope this one won't.

The Yelp rating description says it all - I've experienced better. My typical Brazilian BBQ experience has been Espetus in SF, which is in a league of its own as Flame & Fire proved to be. I was genuinely very excited to try this place because Brazilian restaurants have struggled to stay open in the Greater Sacramento area. I felt encouraged (albeit somewhat fooled) by Yelpers who raved about it. Did we eat at the same place?? Food: One word to describe it: Salty! Like saltier than a salt lick or salt flats - seriously was the saltiest foods I've tasted. A couple of the meats were actually too salty to even eat. Meats varied in how much they were cooked - some were overcooked and tough, while others were actually raw. I love rare meat, but even I could tell the consistency of that meat was raw - server tried to pass it off as rare, but the consistency was not correct. Salad bar area had some tasty options, although if people weren't familiar with the foods, they would walk away thinking couscous was actually quinoa and green beans were potato salad ;) - most of the foods were mislabeled. I didn't like the cheese bread or the garlic mashed potatoes (comes as a palate cleanser) - they were cold and not the right flavor to go along with the foods. I did enjoy the banana. My favorite of the night had to be the pineapple - they put cinnamon or something on it and grill/torch it so it is cooked on - yummy! had to stay one last round to eat that since I had not filled up on meat. I would've liked to have seen some beef ribs. :) Service: Waitress was friendly enough, but not attentive at all. We had to flag her down to order drinks and she didn't bother asking if I wanted another drink when taking my empty glass. She did remember to ask my friend if he did though when she came by at a different time. :/ One confusing thing was that we were each given signs to show when we were hungry or too full so servers know when to stop coming around. Servers typically looked at just the first sign so they can see so they stopped bringing food, when my friend had his card showing he still wanted more haha Servers had varying degrees of friendliness, but it helps accommodate different diners' preferences - silent type, chatty type, etc. One waiter remembered that I liked my meat on the rarer side so tried his best to slice me a good piece. One waiter asked if I was waiting for anything in particular, I told him I was waiting for the pineapple and eventually he came out with pineapple for me! Ambience: I think because of the tinted windows, this place looks like it's going to be really nice on the inside, but when we walked in, the main seating area at the front is just a big, open room with tables seated pretty close together. I was sitting closer to people from another table than the person I came with. Price/Value: Honestly, this place is overpriced. I cannot believe people are willing to pay this price for what they are getting. Espetus prices are comparable, but have outstanding quality, plus amazing ambience. I would recommend trying this place at lunch so it isn't as much of a loss. Overall, I just felt disappointed and expected flame, not fizzle.

Just got back and here is the good, the bad and the ugly. The website boasts 15 different meats. To my count tonight there were only 9. I had filet, tri-tip, garlic steak, top sirloin, lamb chops, parmesan chicken drumettes, chicken wings, bacon wrapped chicken, sausage. They brought cheese bread, garlic mashed potatoes and fried bananas to the table. They had traditional beans and rice and the salad bar stuff. They did have roasted pineapple. They also carry canned Antarctica Guarana at 4$ a can. They did not have boiled quail eggs, I did not see any grilled picanha, and no grilled chicken hearts. The manager mentioned that they would have chicken hearts by request in near future. He also mentioned they are looking to open another restaurant in Santa Barbara in about 9 months. The staff was attentive and friendly which is to be expected at a new restaurant. I was hoping for some deals opening night, but none were to be had. The dinner price was 45$ a person for 13 and older and 22.50$ for ages 8-12. My bill for 6 (5 adults 1 child) with tip, no alcohol and 4 canned guaranas was 325$. Needless to say I was disappointed in the price and curious to see if they can sustain business at that price point? I've eaten at other similar establishments in Brazil and across the US and that's the most I've ever paid per person. I will probably go back, but it's going to be hard to take a large family on a regular basis at this cost. My overall rating is a B- and for you 1-10 scale people a 7.5 out of 10. The cost definitely played a part in lowering. I'm curious to see what others have to say.

Over priced and overall the meat was okay nothing exciting! Service was okay....the meat was not tasteful as i expected because the meat was not marinated enough so it was bland. The sides were okay, the best was the banana with cinnamon.

Great steakhouse!!! I've been to several Texas style steakhouses and this one is my favorite. Great food, wonderful service, friendly staff. Definitely 5 stars worth. Amazing eating experience.

Most of the food was good. However I don't think the $25 lunch was worth it. All the chicken was dry (even the bacon wrapped one). And if something had parmesan (chicken or pork), chances are it's burnt.

Best restaurant in Roseville, high quality food, amazing starters and amazing meat. Bring your appetite, it's all you can eat as a typical Brazilian restaurant operates, but extremely elegant , great ambiance.

I was here on Jan 31st with my family. We were celebrating my mom's birthday. Had reservations at 6 p.m. and we were immediately seated. Our waitress name was Arianna, and she was definitely on point with everything. Now it's time to talk about the food. I'm going to start with the salad bar. My favorite was the asparagus, ceaser salad, chicken pasta salad, and the toss salad. The only issue I saw was one of the pieces of romaine lettuce was brown. Now to the meat. They brought everything out on skewers, and had a wide selection. It consists of sirloin, sausages, ribs, pineapple, chicken wings, bacon wrapped chicken, pork tenderloin, lamb, and bacon wrapped fillet mignon. All of it was delicious. Because of my mom's birthday, they gave her some free ice cream and cake. For $45 per person, we certainly got our money worth. Great food and services. We will certainly be back. P.S our waitress Arianna even escort us to the front door

We made reservations at 8pm and were seated promptly upon arrival. We were greeted by our exceptional server, Daiya who was very knowledgable and welcoming. We ordered a glass of sangria and another fruity drink (I can't remember the name), which were just ok almost comparable to drinks at a club or something. I was surprised how long it took us to get our drinks, I think we were half way into dinner by the time we received them. The fried bananas and fried polenta were crisp and not overly greasy. The cheese bread had a crisp outer layer and warm soft center. There was a lot of variety at the salad bar. We were constantly offered and rounded on with meat. My favorite was the bottom sirloin, it was marbled with fat, extremely moist and flavorful. I wasn't too fond of the chicken wrapped in bacon. The chicken was dry and the bacon was overbearing salty! We were only offered lamb once, it was moist and flavorful, cooked to perfection. We kept getting offered chicken and pork, which I wasn't too fond of. However, you are able to make requests for favorites you've enjoyed. I wonder if they have chicken hearts? I should have asked. Overall, we had a great experience and we left with satisfied full tummies. We will back!

I was very excited to finally get a Brazilian steakhouse in the Sacramento area. I have been to several of them and love them. Flame & Fire however was very disappointing. The meat was mediocre. The salad bar was small compared to any of the other Brazilian steakhouses that I have been to and not enough variety. The service was good but not exceptional. $45.00 a person is way too much for what you get. I will not come back unless the price drops by $10.00.

Food is excellent!! Only thing is service is slow... Wait about 12-18minutes for one thin slice of meat... I'm currently waiting for the bill and even that's taking forever to get picked up. And I can guarantee my card getting back to me is going to take forever. But the food was good again. Just the service is slow and sucky. Tons of people walking around yet no one to help.

I have been to several Brazilian restaurants for the experience of service and quality of food. Flame & Fire was definitely decent when it comes to the quality of meat, but Espetus in San Francisco, CA and San Mateo, CA have higher standards of service and quality. My party and I went for dinner. I asked Flame & Fire if there was any beef ribs to multiple employees and they gave me a look like, "What are you talking about"? Then they said, "Okay, we'll get that for you." It never came. Then I asked one of the waiters if they can request the beef ribs to come out, then he said there wasn't any. The employees seemed like they all didn't for sure know what they had available. I was with an individual that couldn't eat pork, but for the first 30 minutes that's all there was. So we told them no pork, and there was very few meats that had no pork. Chicken wing, filet, lamb chop, flank, top, and bottom sirloin. Removed half of what was offered. I was basicslly done eating, and the restaurant was starting to fill up, but there were the same amount of waiters serving at the time I started. There wasnt a wide selection and more customers started showing up, but limited on employees. I gave this.place a two star because I have been to several Brazilian locations and the operations at Flame & Fire seemed very new and still working on figuring out how to make the restaurant better and more efficient. This place can definitely do well. I hope it does because it has a lot of potental, but tonight just didnt give the best Brazilian restaurant experience.

I love it when people try to qualify themselves by saying they are Brazilian, so they should know more than everybody else. STFU!!! If you knew so much you would know that a Churrascaria in Brazil cost $75, so quit complaining about the $45. Excellent price for what you get!! We were impressed. Promptly greeted at the door and seated. Friendly and helpful server promptly greeted us and explained how everything worked. The Gauchos immediately started to bring the different meats which were all excellent and perfectly seasoned. I believe this is a welcome addition to the Roseville/Sacramento dining scene. Check it out.

I was greeted with Valet, and the place was very pretty. The meats were UNBELIEVABLE! ! The bartenders were superb! The gauchos ( meat carvers) were awesome and the rest of the customer service was great. I've paid much more at places similar to this in Anaheim and in Vegas.. I was very pleased that it was only 45$ the salad bar had great selections. Oh, and the bananas!!! They were so good and addictive. They also had a nice patio with live music. Over All, worth it!

The salad bar portion of the meal was very good. They have certain hot foods on the side including beef stroganoff, a potato dish, rice and some other foods. There is something there everyone will find to like. I personally did not like the stroganoff. For some reason they put catsup in it. However, we loved several of the salads and the steaks were exceptional. I caution anyone going there that if they are not careful they will have no room for desert! They have pineapple that has been grilled and covered with a cinnamon or cinnamon and sugar combination. That was about the only dessert that we could handle!

My fiance and I stopped in on Friday night around 8 after a friend told us how good everything was during the soft opening the weekend before. We walked in and we're really impressed with the ambiance; nice lighting, elegant but understated decor, not too loud, very friendly hostess. We put our names in and went to sit in the bar for a bit to wait for our table; the time to table estimate was accurate. We ordered drinks from the nicely stocked bar and headed out to the patio. I almost wish our wait time was longer, the patio is fantastic. I hope they start serving dinners out there!! After we were seated our waitress told us a little bit about the serving style of a traditional churrascarias, side dishes are self served and the meat is brought out and carved off at table side. I keep seeing the words "salad bar" used to describe the sides serving area and somehow it just doesn't seem like a good enough description, it was so much more than a "salad bar." There was a fantastically buttery-crumbly parmesan cheese wheel, several selections of cured meats, caprese salad, a cold smoked salmon salad, asparagus, heart of palms, a broccolini salad with a fantastic vinaigrette, figs with prosciutto and goat cheese, mashed yucca with shrimp, caesar salad, a kale salad with pecans and strawberries; I think maybe you can see why I hesitate to lump it into a standard all you can eat salad bar. Then there is the barbecue. The lamb chops were divine, not overdone with with a nice sear to the outside, the tri tip was salt crusted and was done to different degrees on the same sword so that I could get rare and my fiance got medium, there parmesan crusted chicken was great, as was the bacon wrapped pork loin and fillet mignon. The grilled pineapple was fantastic paired with pretty much everything, but really worked fantastically with the chicken and pork. I can't speak to their desserts because I was so full I couldn't try one, but there was a good selection available and they all sounded delicious. As far as improvements all I can say is that dining on the patio would be a fantastic addition and having a little help with an explanation of the side dishes, either a sign or maybe your wait staff person could give you a brief tour during seating, would be helpful. At 45 per person it isn't something I'll do on a weekly basis, but I'll definitely back and I'll be bringing friends!

We were very excited to try out the first Brazilian steakhouse in Roseville since the only one we've been to is Espetus in SF. We've been to Flame and Fire couple of times since they opened in June, great salad bar and buffet, good meat selection, however chicken wings/drumsticks, and pork ribs were very dry and overcooked, bacon wrapped chicken was also dry. The best was picanha (Brazilian style beef), lamb and pork loin were also delicious. Passion fruit mousse was also great! We were very disappointed and surprised that they didn't have any coffee or espresso at all, also the cocktail menu doesn't list the ingredients, it just simply says - caipirinha, Brazilian lemonade, etc, I asked the server what's in the particular cocktail, she responded that it's a bartender's "secret/specialty", so go figure... If you haven't been to the Brazilian steakhouse, you should definitely experience it at least once. My main three cons - dry, overcooked chicken and pork ribs, no coffee, and no cocktail ingredients. Also, I hope the place doesn't go out of business as it seems they have way too many servers...

This place is very very good! Everything we are was tasty! The service was very inviting but a little slow. The only thing I would dock it for is the price. 45$ per person, don't get me wrong we would eat here again but not on a regular basis.

Liked the food and atmosphere- all you can eat- but a bit pricy unless you haven't eaten all day. Salad bar was cool but I wasn't sure what some of the food was. Hit up the bar for happy hour before you eat!

The dinner was very good but don't waste precious stomach space on the salad bar as the carvers will make you cry uncle before they stop serving you the finely cooked meats.

I went to Flame Fire with the mindset to get my grub on and eat till they gave me my dinner for free. As a person who in the past has ate the 2 pound porterhouse at cattlemens like it was a appetizer, I assumed it would be tough for this place to fill me. I by passed the salad bar and told the waitress to line up the gauchos and lets get this meat eating rolling. These guys came by and would drop off a piece at a time. I asked for more and they happily obliged. I was talking a little smack because it seemed like it was taking awhile for the next swordsman to get there. But when they realized I meant business these guys literally put me into a meat coma. I had a meatgasm right at the table. Yes I just made that word up. The salad bar seemed like a good idea to par take in so I went one round just to satisfy my curiosity. Then back to more meat and cinnamon crusted bananas. By the time I left I couldn't even remember my name and the wife had to drive home. So if you are a meat guy this is the place for YOU. SEE YOU THERE.

I've eaten at a similar restaurant Fogo De Chao and unfortunately Flame & Fire does not rate nearly as high in both food & service. They offered very limited cuts of steaks & there were many items at the salad bar that were not replenished - many plates & bowls sat empty. While the food recieves a 3.5-4 stars, the lack of service by the gauchos serving the steak cuts deserve only 1 star. Several of them kept skipping our table and serving the tables next to us throughout our meal. We even had our markers flipped to green that was supposed to indicate that we were ready for more food. Very inattentive & poor service overall by these servers. Next time I will just go to Ruth Chris for their mouthwatering steaks & exceptional service & spend about the same price I paid at Flame & Fire.

Everything that Chris C. said is right on target. We had a 6:45 reservation last night and our table was 30 minutes from being available. In addition, the service was very poor. The waitress was unable to describe items accurately and the bar tenders were extremely slow. At one point a member of our party had to go to the bar to get their own drinks. We are willing to spend money on a good meal and experience but this was no value. You know you're in trouble when the Brazilian sausage is referred to as a hotdog by the server. I'm not sure how lasagna is part of a Brazilian themed restaurant but it was available if you care to have it. Next time I want a similar experience, I'll go to a casino buffet and save myself about $100.

Okay I wanted to really pick a place I really liked for my first review, but I also wanted to make sure I really liked them every time I went before I just wrote down an impulsive "oh my goodness this place is amazing" review after only trying it only once. I have been here three times now. The first time I went with my siblings and a few friends. My brother was in town from Texas and had not been back to California in sometime and wanted to try something new. My friend had heard of this place and suggested it to us. We went for their lunch and as we walked on we were greeted by the very friendly front house staff. They asked if it was our first time and they explained how everything works. The system is super easy. Flip your little coaster to the green yes if you are ready to eat your fill of deliciously seasoned meat or keep it on the red no if you are still working on the food you have gotten from the salad bar. The second time I went I took my cousin for his birthday. We had also gone for the lunch and it was just as amazing and the staff was just as friendly. Along with the salad bar and all the meats they have to offer every table was served with their cheese bread balls, fried bananas to cleanse the palate, and some garlic mash potatoes. In all honesty I stayed away from the bread balls and garlic mash. I tried it and I loved it but I really wanted to try all the meats and all the items on the salad bar. I still have not tried it all yet there is just so much. my third visit was for the dinner service and it was amazing. There were much more selections for food on the salad bar and meats. The staff was just as friendly as during the day. They atmosphere is not too loud either. Now I saved the best for last. I love steak and I love chicken and I love pork and I love lamb, but the best thing by far is the cinnamon pineapple. It is the best thing I have ever eaten that has to do with pineapple. It is literally like eating a pineapple pie (if those existed I'd imagine it to be like cinnamon apple pie) but without the pie crust. It was nice and warm and just melts in your mouth. This is definitely a place to try and love coming back everytime.

I just want to say what a fantastic Restaurant Flames and Fire is. I have been there 4-5 times, and they always seem to impress me. The Food is top notch! The meats are so tender and tasty, and always hot from the rotisserie. The Salad Bar is as fresh as it gets!! The selection from the bar is endless with a variety of Veggies, Fruits and Pastas that will have you coming back... What tops the food? Their Employees!! 100% customer service right when you walk in. They seem to always make sure you are having a great experience. I live in Cameron Park and drive all the way there just for the experience. It takes one visit!! Danny.

On the expensive side, but overall a very nice experience, especially once you figure out how things work. The service was very good, although the server could have been more familiar with their drinks menu. Everything tasted good, but, as others have mentioned, the meats are very, very salty. I think some of the unusual and subtle flavors of the meats would pop more if they cranked back on the salt.

Seriously delicious food. Everything. You will not be disappointed. If I can say one thing I wasn't really diggin, it was very unromantic. But that's it. We came for our wedding anniversary and it didn't very special since there were kids there and people were dressed really casual. I mean sneakers and beanies. But oh well, the food was absolutely amazing. They give you cards for your table that are red for stop and green for go, similar to the license plates at Bubba Gump. This way the servers can bring you meat. The wine list was pretty good too! Our server was excellent. Not many tables in this restaurant- it was far apart from everything else, but super duper quiet. I wouldn't have a moms night out here because we would probably be too loud. The place wasn't too hard to find, it's in a plaza with other restaurants and businesses. I would come back but just with one or two people. It didn't seem like it was good for groups but maybe on the other side of the restaurant there were groups. We came in a Thursday. We sat near the host table. There's a salad bar that's not so bad, don't get full of that stuff though! Save your appetite for the delicious meat/chicken/lamb that they carve for you right to your table!!!

It was great to hear that a Brazilian steak house was coming to Roseville and the surrounding area. After the one on Madison Avenue closed a few years back the only time we had the opportunity to go was in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. But back to Roseville. The service was good, the midget bananas were the highlight of our meal and the food overall was good. Would want to see more of filet and chicken. They advertise 21 varieties but I doubt it. The passion fruit ice tea was sent back as it had no flavor. All in all a good meal I would give it an eight out of ten.

Took my staff here for a reward dinner. The meat was exceptionally good and abundant. The pitcher of sangria was also very good but pricey. Salad bar could use more hot sides and less cold. Would return but it would be nice at this price point if the other patrons would at least dress for dinner and not for the beach.

Excellent restaurant! The servers were great, the food was delicious and even the salad bar was awesome I wasn't crazy about the special Brazilian cocktail I ordered (was very strong! ) but the manager or owner who came by to see if I liked it was very nice and got me another one. It was still just not my taste so I asked for a mai tai instead, which was VERY good and when the bill came they didn't even charge us for it! The desserts looked good too, we were so full we just had some ice cream but we will definitely be going back!

Great food, great service, great owners! A real gem. The salad bar is loaded with great choices and the meats are all seasoned to perfection. Have to make room for the Cinnamon/Sugar Pineapple. The bar has some amazing signature drinks also!

This place was very good, but the food didn't "wow" us quite as much as at places we've been in the past like Fogo de Chao, Texas de Brazil, and other places in the Portuguese section of Newark, NJ. The meats were good, but were not all great - some standouts were the parmesan chicken, pork sausage, bacon-wrapped filet mignon & the kidney-shaped beef (maybe rib eye?). The bacon-wrapped chicken also was very good, surprisingly tender and not at all dry. The lamb chops also were good, the tri-tip and 1 or 2 other beefs not so much. The variety was very good, though we expected a few more based on the reviews here. Still, it was a nice variety and we certainly ate plenty! The mashed potato side was really good, but the other sides up on the salad bar were nothing special, boring beans, rice, and some odd dry stuff that just made us choke. The cold collards were kind of strange, and not like the excellent greens we're accustomed to having in these types of places. The salad bar had some interesting offerings, a few we'd never heard of before. But it didn't blow us away like some others have, which may be a good thing because it doesn't fill us up as much! They seem to have read some of the reviews here because everything was marked with a sign so we knew what it was. There were other things that appeared to have been improved in only a few weeks as well, things that other reviewers pointed out. For example, the tables didn't seem at all crowded together. The service was very friendly and attentive, we had multiple people checking on us throughout the evening. And, at the slightest mention that we might like more of a certain meat, within a minute the guy was back serving it to us. One thing that's really too bad is that Sac's only Brazilian steakhouse is in Roseville. We'd been hoping one would open, but not that far up. Hopefully it'll be a success and 2nd one will open up somewhere more centrally located in Sacramento. But we'll make the trek up to Roseville when we're in the mood for this, it's definitely worth going back to every now and then.

Not new to Brazilian BBQ, good food, service sucked. We were promptly seated at our reservation time, and started to enjoy the limited selection of appetizers. What we thought was our waiter (actually manager?) said mashed potatoes and banana would be out soon. Meat starts to come around, all is good. Quality is good, and they are coming around constantly. We get half way through our meal and still no banana or potatoes, and our drinks have only been filled once. Waiting, waiting, and more waiting. Nothing. Server is avoiding us it seems. I go to hostess and ask for manager, and she points to our waiter. Very odd staff structure. tldr food good, crap service. Might come back in a year but until then I'll stick with de Brazil

This place doesn't deserve even a star. I have eaten at more upscale places than this, but never been so insulted and humiliated like this. Being told that the waiting time is an 1-1/2 hr while there are tables open is one insult. The other is not getting the call after waiting the 1-1/2 hrs. Definitely not going there for future special occasions.

Ok, so let me start by saying that 1) I am Brazilian (born and raised in Sao Paulo), 2) I have eaten churrasco all my life, and 3) I have eaten at many churrascarias across the U.S. (Fogo de Chao, Texas de Brazil, etc.), including the cheap ones in the Boston area. Flames and Fire is another incarnation of the upscale churrascaria experience. Is it expensive? It is all relative. If you live in Roseville and shop at Pottery Barn, then I'd say it's cheap. It is definitely not as expensive as the above mentioned churrascarias, and the experience was equivalent. Their staff is great (most came from having worked in other churrascarias), and the food was delicious. I had maminha, file mignon, picanha, bacon wrapped chicken, chicken with parmesan cheese, pork, grilled pineapple, lamb, ribs, and probably some other meat. I had my rice and beans topped with farofa and a little bit of the delicious escondidinho de camarao (mashed yucca with shrimp). Of course you get all you can eat pao de queijo (cheese bread) and fried bananas. For dessert, my wife and I had a papaya cream. That's when I wished I was wearing elastic waist pants (although the place is too nice for that). I am definetly taking some of my friends there so they can experience Brazilian food (I don't really cook, so don't come over). Some of the reviewers here on Yelp complained about lack of vegetarian options. Really? At a churrascaria? (churrasco means barbecue in Portuguese). Also, if the salad bar was bigger, then they would have to charge Fogo de Chao rates. They don't. It is cheaper than eating at a similar churrascaria in Sao Paulo. Roseville residents got lucky with this one. For those of you in Sacramento: It is worth the drive. (BTW, I do not know the owners, and have no idea whether they are Brazilian or not).

    (5)
  • Phil T.

if you are in the Sacramento area and want to experience what it is to have not Brazilian food in a non Brazilian atmosphere, then definitely try Flames the "Brazilian Churrascaria" even their Portuguese is wrong :) yes/no card says "porfavor" !! service is nice though you have to give them that. but this is not a churrascaria salad bar and the rodizio had 4, maybe 5 choices.. we had 5 pao de queijo for well, 5 people and TWO (2 !!) fried bananas. my kids had to rock/paper/scissor to decide who would get them ..

Not very happy with this restaurant the food is good although we have been to much better Brazilian restaurants, they come around slowly and chicken is the most frequent. Went there for a birthday dinner my husband had to ask 3 times for the filet when it finally arrived instead of being a filet they sliced off it was a nugget of meat not very appetizing, same for the bacon wrapped filet. We had purchased discount coupons through our Amex card which stAted that you could use up to $30 worth for a dinner for 2. They would only accept $10 on a bill of almost $150! Returned again for a lunch with friends. - the host was not welcoming person and seemed put out that he had to stop what he was doing in the dining room to seat us. the salad bar where you are suppose to pick up plates contained no plates, they were across the room on a bus station - several of the salad offerings were empty . Again the chicken was frequent in coming to the table but we had to ask for other items - the lamb was delicious! This time they totally refused the coupon. When we went to leave the doors were locked a fire hazard ! And Gain the host was in the dining room and shouted at us that the doors were locked and was generally very rude and demeaning to us. Meats are good, salads are terrible flavorless, poorly displayed with poorly hand written signs telling you what they are , waitress was very nice but the gentleman at the front desk was horrible. I was in the food business for many years and this guy should be fired! Unfortunately I think he is part of the family. If he remains their representative they will be out of business soon. We will throw out the coupons we purchased and not be returning to this restaurant do not need to eat where we are not wanted, are mislead about what and how their coupons can be used and find ourselves in a dangerously locked area unable to exit in case of a fire, or natural disaster.

Food is not that bad, didn't think it was almost like a buffet style place. Salad bar is open and then you get all your meats..They don't seem to be top of the line meats and on top of that it's super pricey. I would rather pay that much for a nice streak dinner and spend that much on different types of meats that are not top quality.

Food was great not smoky tasting like some Brazilian steakhouses. The place looked nice. The service was a little off - still better then most - It was the grand opening and 1st day willing to give them some slack here as they work out the kinks - including no ice in the ice tea. Will definitely go back . Super happy to have a great Brazilian Steakhouse in the Sac region

Was so excited to have a Brazilian steakhouse in Roseville, but would recommend this restaurant to no one! $180 (2 adults, 1 child and 3 drinks) and I left there full, of disappointment. Went to a Brazilian steakhouse on cape cod and it was wonderful, with fun, new, different food, but this experience last night was horrible! I could not believe the size of the all you can eat area...like 12 feet long (if that). Hot foods consisted of black beans, refried beans and rice (think Jalisco grill). Oh, and cauliflower with cheese. Yes, that was it! Totally disappointing! The cold food/salad area consisted solely of Italian meats and cheeses and salads you could make at home. The meats were nothing special and limited in choice to like 6 (compared to the cape's 15, including seafood) and only okay! No seafood at all and had to ask for beef tenderloin like 5 times before it was brought to our table, which was when we were basically done eating! Grilled pineapple, the bread, and cinnamon bananas were really good but you can decide if they are worth $45. And want a Brazilian beer? They only have mexican! I wanted this place to be great like my past experience and it was not. Want a buffet? Go to thunder valley and save yourself lots of $$$!!

Just had an amazing lunch here. As good as it gets. The salad bar was clean, fresh and appetizing and the meats were wonderful, particularly the lamb. The pork was just a bit dry, but typically is. But everything else was wonderful. We had fabulous service and while it is a little pricey, for a lamb lover like me, the price was right. And they offer a discount for seniors.

We didn't know F/F had opened until we saw it while driving by. We went for dinner and took our own bottle. The corkage is $15/bottle which sure beats $16/glass. The salad bar is excellent as are the assorted meats sliced at your table. An unexpected pleasure is the fried bananas. We have had Brazilian before and love it. This is good, but is it $90 for a couple, before drinks, good? There are other restaurants within 5 miles to have a nice dinner for 1/3 less. At a pricey $45 each, we may go twice a year, vice 3 times/month if it were more reasonable. Due to the price, Flame & Fire goes from a fun place to go often, to just a special occasion venue. If the dinner price was lowered to say $30-35, they would have a line around the block every night. I rated 4 stars because it is good. It just needs to be a better value.

Myself and my Brazilian husband from Sao Paolo, Brasil would give this place a super mega 5 Star. Food and drinks were authentic Brazilian. Beautiful set up inside, nice interior and super clean. The servers were super-friendly and attentive. The salad bar and the meats served for churrasco were exactly the same style when we went to Brasil ( we visited São Paulo, Brasilia, and Rio de Janeiro). Churrasco meats were juicy and tasty, we went during lunchtime . Coming here is like going to a Brazilian restaurant in Brasil. We highly recommend this place , experience the unique Brazilian cuisine. Muito Obrigado Flame & Fire for coming to Roseville, CA!

I've been to a Brazilian steakhouse in the Bay Area and San Diego, so I had an idea of what to expect. I arrived for dinner with a large party, so I wasn't expecting perfect service. But compared to other Brazilian steakhouses I've been to, I thought the gauchos were a bit slow. We had a big break where there was no one coming around and we had to ask/wait for the meat to recirculate and come around to our table. We never even saw the grilled pineapple until we had to specifically ask for it. I was very excited to enjoy some of the pao de quiejo, but found them to be a bit hard on the outside. Perhaps not a fresh batch? The inside was still delicious once you bit into it though. I'm hoping for awesome deliciousness next time though. The salad bar was pretty good. Top sirloin was probably my favorite meat served followed by the garlic steak. my friend and I felt that the other meats were good but not fully seasoned like the top sirloin. I was pleasantly surprised by the mash potato and bananas though, those were amazing! All in all, we all enjoyed our dinner despite some of the wait.

Great job on the food!! Wish the salad bar had a few more things that were traditional to Brasil but I'm just happy to finally have one here locally. Food servers came around without any wait time, however our drink/table server was overwhelmed. I knew he was working hard the whole time but had way too many tables and forgot our drinks and appetizers a few times. However, he had an awesome personality and that made it better. Service is huge for this area so thats the only star I would urge them to work on.

This place was really great. You eat all you want . The meats they serve were excellent and the salad bar was outstanding. Service was a little slow from the waitress but the Gauchos that came round to serve the meat were constantly at your table with a serving of the delicious different kinds of meats they serve. I will for sure return to this place again.

I attended the soft opening with my husband and three kids. We had never eaten at a Brazilian restaurant before. All of us loved the food. The salad bar had a ton of options and everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. The gauchos are quick and polite. I'm pretty sure we tried all 16 meat options and the grilled pineapple... All very tasty. Our hostess was attentive and knowledgeable about the food. The drinks from the bar were great. There is a huge patio for waiting, mingling, and enjoying pre-dinner drinks. Overall, this is a great place to come & enjoy great food, great service, and a great atmosphere. Everyone should try it!

So our friends Jon & Jośe treated us to a lunch here today. I have experienced Brazilian food on a couple of cruises I have been on, so I did have an expectation of what it means to have this kind of food experience. To my surprise, this is a fabulous place for a nice treat! We did have reservations for 12 noon, but arrived about 10 minutes early. No problem, we were greeted and seated right away. The salad bar was clean and inviting with different types of Brazilian salad mixtures, as well as, cheeses, fruits, garlic rice, black and pinto beans. When we sat at our table the servers/carvers came around one by one offering various cooked meats on skewers which, if we wanted, were served to us carefully. All meats were tender, juicy and flavorful! Oh, not to forget the roasted pineapple, as well as, the bananas! Know that you can eat as much as you want or as little! We opted to be sensible and eat a sampling of most of the food. This was a very satisfying meal for all four of us in the table. I would have given a five star except that our iced tea was not refilled and our used plates were not taken back to the kitchen unless we asked someone. Also, one of the wait staff leaned over and across me to fill a glass of water. A waiters elbow and armpit makes me cut this rating to four stars. Would I recommend this place? Absolutely! It is a guilty pleasure I will enjoy in the future!

Overall the food and service were very good. The meat guys were great, friendly and fun. Salad bar had a great variety and most things were very tasty. I really enjoyed it. However the salad bar was $29, dinner, including the salad bar is $45. We had one salad bar and two dinners, including tip the total was $150.00. We had no wine or cocktails. Seems a bit steep for a Thursday night dinner in Roseville. I have nothing bad to say about the food or service, all first class and very good. But weighing that against the cost I probably won't go back unless a very special occassion. But it was a fun experience and I would recommend trying it.

Great, fun place. Service was very good. Selection of meats that came around the table was more than I expects. I'm looking forward to going back.

So excited that a Brazilian steakhouse has come to Roseville! The constant flow of perfectly seasoned and cooked top quality meats and an all you can eat extensive salad bar fits my paleo diet perfectly! The ambiance is upscale and the gaucho meat servers are top notch and fast. Can't say enough good things about this place! Prices are totally worth the dining experience!

Wonderful place to take your date or friends night out. I have not visited a restaurant like this one before and have to say I was not disappointed in any way. AMAZING food and great service, everyone is so friendly. Will be making this my favorite and regular place to eat. Roseville is finally moving up in the world!

Ten of us went there for my son's birthday. We sat in the bar waiting for our table and had a few drinks. When it was time to pay our bill at the bar we were told the computer was down, so we waited at 10 -15 minutes and the bill was still not ready. I asked the bartender if he could send the bill over to the table when it was ready. After another 15 minutes the bill never came so I sent back to the bar and finally got it. The meal started out alright, but you would think for the price you pay for a meal, you would have better service. When it came time to get our check we were there for 2 hours after eating waiting for the bill to come out correctly, which it never did. We were charged double on some of the bills and we have no idea what we were charged. The bills came out with total amounts and nothing broken down. Each of us were charged at least 2 to 3 times on our credit cards and we have no idea what's going to happen with these charges. We were told they were cancelled out but the receipts we have just say order cancelled. This was the worst service I have ever seen snd they just lost 10 customers!

Came for dinner for a second time, first time was everything good and I was hoping to get the same good experience, came back mostly for lamb and the beef, the top sirloin didn't disappoint me, it was great, but when I asked one of the carvers about the lamb chops, he told me they didn't have any, I got really disappointed, since I came mostly for the lamb chops, at least they had the leg of lamb, anyways, the rest was everything good, water was refilled and the bananas are really good, at the end we decided to order a desert to share, and surprise.... They didn't have the one we wanted, then I got really disappointed, made our 45$ a person not worth it at all ( which I not cheap, let's be honest). I will give only one star for the great costumer service from our waitress and gauchos carvers, other than that, the light close to us kept going on and off, the music was loud sometimes and not very great ambiance, really buffet style, I will definitely give second thoughts about coming back to this place, too bad, it could've been a great deal.

My friend and I were excited to try this place . We drove by when they were still in construction. We were going to sushi next door and on impulse saw that it was opened . We went in, staff are super friendly and the ambiance was nice . We were handed a menu which wasn't really a menu at all . So basically it's a high set price for the meal that includes the salad bar and whatever meats their carvers serve as they walk around to the table. Now if I'm paying like 50 dollars before tip for a meal, I also have to get up and go to the other room for the salad bar and serve myself ?!!! At first I was like fine, whatever. I was hoping the salad bar would be unique but it was like any salad bar at sizzler . The only difference is that they do have nice cheese options and some other salads mixed with fruits and such. But seriously there were three different types of potato salads and regular tossed salads and like dove kind of fig thing but that was it. Where was the Brazilian influence or ingredients ?! Disappointing . Then the meat carvers started coming around and it was mostly pork and tiny chicken drumstick. They were coated in Parmesan . I don't know Brazilian flavors but is the Parmesan coat a Brazilian thing ? So as my friend and I started getting full from their meh salad bar and meh meats options, then the beef carvers come out and that was good but why when we were full? Maybe it was just our unfortunate timing . The tiny bit of slices of beef we tried were good and tender but we just didn't enjoy it enough overall. Two people for dinner and the bill was over 100 with tip. Granted the service team are very friendly . Overall we will not be back because it was not a BRAZILIAN steak experience . For what we paid we would rather go to a real steakhouse and get much more satisfied!

I've had Brazilian in a few other places and I'd have to say the meat at Fire and Flame is just about the best. I think they had more meat selections than any of those other places which was impressive. The salad bar was good but not exceptional, I wish there'd been some more cheese and bread offerings. The meal also included garlic mashed potatoes, deep fried bananas, and grilled pineapple. The bananas and pineapple were excellent especially the pineapple which was grilled with some cinnamon. Garlic mashed were disappointing, small portion and cold. Service was excellent. The ambience was nice despite basically being in a strip mall, there's not much curb appeal, but that actually provides sort of a nice contrast going from a hot parking lot into a cool pleasing upscale space. This would be a good place to go for a special occasion. My only complaint is the price. I don't usually spend $50 dollars (no drinks) per person for a meal, I'm not cheap, eat out a lot, at a lot of good restaurants, usually when I spend this much it's been pretty memorable. This was an excellent, but not memorable, meal. Lunch looks like a lot better deal. There's an nice outdoor seating area that must be great on a summer evening. I know it probably goes against the concept of this restaurant but If they had a way to put some of that meat and salad bar into a bar menu it would be great. I'm sure we'll be back, unfortunately just not very often.
