The broth on the noodles is amazing. Try the spam as a side order. The staff is awesome! Good place to eat anytime!

Except for the long line sometimes, this place is simple awesome. Just make sure you get here before 11.30 if you want to get lunch.

Good ramen, loved sitting at the bar & watching them make it. Almost like an Orchestra at work. The wait isn't too long since it takes about 5min from ordering to getting food, which was probably the best part :)

First time here and it was great! Came for lunch and barely waited to be seated, very enthusiastic waiter greeted us and announced our entrance into the restaurant my daughter and I both choose set A: Ramen w/gyoza, the noodles and broth were excellent, just the right amount of onion and ginger, the pork was cut kinda thin but it was tasty. The gyoza were small but good. For a lunch meal, it got me pretty full and the price was fair. For a dinner meal I would probably get some add ons...I will be back again for sure.

Err mer ferking gerd! Hands down the best Ramen. Great atmosphere, kitchy but bitchin service. Just avoid 1500-1730 it ain't lunch nor dinner.

First time I went it was crowded (and I soon learned it's crowded all the time). I went with a large group (8 ppl) so the servers kinda left us and didn't really come check on us. But recently I went (with 1 other person) and they were on us like mosquitos- almost overbearingly attentive but it's better than being ignored. The food is always good but salty- set C is personally the best. (:

One of my favorite ramen shops. It may not have the richest flavor or the best ambiance or hold to the highest tradition but for me it's the only one that I can leave full and happy without going over $20. That extra noodle option is win for someone like me that eats a lot. Customizable noodles also enhances the experience.

As usual, the BEST ramen ever. I love this place.. There's usually a wait but it's pretty worth it. It's really cool how you get to somewhat customize your own bowl of ramen with choice of toppings, soup base, amount of oil, as well as how you like your noodles...now that's really an establishment that wants you to really enjoy your food. Prices are really reasonable and customer service is always kind. I can't have any other ramen without comparing it to Shinsengumi...it's really one of the best!

This place is way over rated. The pork slice smells bad and not even tender. You can tell from my photo of the meat that's it's so dark and doesn't look fresh. Noodle and broth is decent. Not sure what people rating for such high marks. O.o

I'm updating this review... for various reasons. Daikokuya takes the cake now. As well as Tsujita LA. The broth here lacks the depth of flavor it used to have. It's just mainly salty now compared to the complex flavors I can get at the above named shops. That being said... I still enjoy coming here, especially when there is no wait. I don't think I can wait an hour for ramen if it's not the best. They still have my favorite noodles and I love that you can order the noodles hard, normal, or soft (I always order them hard). I do still like that you can order a 1/2 size too!
