Mushroom pasta 4/5 Delicious plate with creamy sauce filled with slices of mushrooms and impressive flavors. Six cheese ravioli with shrimp 5/5 Most delicious plate of cheese ravioli and jumbo shrimp I've ever tasted !! The vegetables was a plus and the shrimps were juicy !! Chocolate souffle Checked in for a free dessert. It took longer than expected. We waited for an hour but definitely with the wait. Price 4/5 Reasonable (: Think it was $15 for the mushroom pasta $18 for the raviolis

I did not say we waited an hour. We would have waited an hour if I had not gone in from looking at the new list the girl outsde was making. I talked about confusion and two other groups that waited an hour. I did not change my story nor did I request gift cards. You are the one confused. When 3 of 5 got very sick yes it was food poisoning. Interesting to read the following day another family also had 3 get food poisoning. I would not recommend your restaurant to anyone.I would say you care nothing about customer service. I am glad the other family is reporting to health department. Why would I ask for a gift card to a place where our family got very ill. We did not go in at 2:30 but due to the food being picked over why would we want to stay. The 3 who got sick ate more than I did. I thought it appropriate to credit our account. You gave different stories and try to blame your customers. Better read the post a day later from another customer. Sounds like more food poisoning.

I enjoyed the food here. We had a veggie pasta, mac and cheese, and a soufflé to die for! The tomato heirloom salad was delicious and the place was clean and quiet. I will be going here again if I'm in this area.

This place is great and the food is excellent! This was my 3rd time visiting and let me tell you the service only gets better. I had the pleasure of having Ariel as my server she was wonderful and very attentive!!! I had a fabulous expresso made just for me by Bill, he not only sat me at my table but he pushed my babies stroller for me!!! Talk about going the extra mile so if your ever in the area by all means stop by you won't be disappointed. The Sunday brunch is to die for with the unlimited mimosas. I will definitely be coming back soon!!!

My friends brought me here for Sunday Brunch and all I have to say is AWESOME! From our very friendly & funny (Cuban) waiter, to the good food and desserts, everything was perfect. To top it off, the unlimited mimosas was the 'silver lining'. There were a few patrons at the restaurant but it was not busy. We came at a time where it was not busy and we didn't have to wait in lines when getting our food. It was such a relaxing brunch with entertaining conversations with our waiter. I left stuffed and happy.

I only did the brunch here on Sunday so I'll base the review off brunch. Food was amazing! My favorite was the waffles! For a brunch buffet style these waffles were 1st class. Def a recommended spot for Sunday brunch plus you get the nice view.

My mom and I had lunch here on Saturday afternoon and were impressed from the second we opened the door. The hostess greeted us immediately upon entering and was friendly and seated us right away. Our server Iona was genuinely friendly and made us feel welcome. The food was incredible!!! After our meal Iona asked us if we wanted to see the dessert menu and when she brought it she recommend the Creme' Brulee' and it was amazing!! We will absolutely be returning for the food but also because the staff was so friendly and welcoming. It was like going to have lunch with friends.

Was in the Dos Lagos area to see a movie at the nearby Phoenix theaters, and was in the mood for a nice buffet brunch and was torn between Citrus City Grille and TAPS right next door. After a brief sleuth job, I discovered that TAPS was charging a simply outrageous $32.95 (this place is not the Bellagio in Vegas!), while Citrus was a more easy to digest $24.95, with unlimited champagne, Mimosas or Bloody Mary bar (a super cool feature I haven't seen at many places)... I guess if you are a heavy drinker, the $24.95 is not a big deal, but if you are a non-drinker, it is way to much to pay ($14.95 would be more reasonable....with the extra $10 IF you wanted to add booze to your meal). When I found out that TAPS next door also did NOT offer a no-booze alternative, I was shocked, as they are losing a LOT of business from non-drinkers not willing to pay the steep tab, who will just walk next door to TGI Friday's, Wood Ranch BBQ or even RA Sushi. Anyway....on to the food. It is really a mixed bag here, with some items very yummy and some so-so at best. I had two fabulous eggs Benedict and the third one had an English muffin like a hockey puck under it. The same goes for the French Toast: one piece was perfect, while the second one was pure mush. Same for the pastries: some were wonderful and some dry and hard and not something you wanted to put in your stomach. Comments on other items tried: Carved Prime Rib: way tooooo rare for most people. Home Fries: Excellent and one of the best items. Shrimp Cocktail: not cold enough due to a massive pile. Should be a covering layer only on top of ice to keep them frigid, as luke warm shrimp are rather nasty to eat. Caesar salad--excellent dressing and crisp lettuce Fruit--fresh and enticing. Sausage--not cooked well enough and filled with nasty pieces of grizzle. Bacon--too crisp and SALTY Waffles--not warm or fresh Other than the food, the main reason for the less than stellar 2-star review was the massive MONEY GRAB that they tried on me as follows: I had one Mimosa and was interested in trying the Bloody Mary Bar, but when I asked about it, I was told there was a $5 upcharge. WHAT? There was no notice about this anywhere in the restaurant. My server explained to me that IF you start with Mimosas, you have to stay with Mimosas. And if you start with Bloody Marys you have to stay with them. I explained to him that there was NO logic whatsoever in this crazy madness. Thus, under their guidelines, I could have 5 Mimosas, but NOT 1 Mimosa and 1 Bloody Mary....Come on management. Have you lost your mind? You then put your servers into the "bad guy" role and piss off your patrons. I will probably never come back again just due to this insulting rip-off. And, when my server addressed me as "BOSS" instead of "SIR" I knew there had not been proper staff training at this location. I am not his boss, nor am I his Buddy, Bro, Dude etc.....all common catch phrases used now by servers who have lost their way due to lack off proper guidance. WOW....that "2 for $10" or Dinner for 2 for $20 special across the street looks like a sweet deal after my experience at Citrus City Grille. Why can the vast array of Vegas hotel buffets get the experience correct, while here locally it is really difficult to find a great all-you-can eat buffet. I actually had food just as good at Home Town Buffet the other day(with a much larger selection of food and salad offerings) for less than 50% of what you pay at Citrus City Grille. Now that is a really sad statement.

I go there for lunch and dinner. the food is good to excellent it depends on the dish. every restaurant has hits and misses on there menu. the service is aways solid. I like that it is not a chain. we have too many chains in corona. As far as the prices you pay what you get. if you want a cheap chain restaurant you have that choice. If you prefer a upscale atmosphere and better food, this may be the place for you.

Been going to Citrus for years and am always left satisfied. Great atmosphere, beautiful setting and view and AMAZING food always! Their ribeye steak is the BEST steak I've ever had and the margarita pizza, salmon dish are outrageously good! And service is always exceptional.

This is my new 19th hole when playing golf in the IE. It is right by Do Lagos, so it is convenient to Champions, Eagle Glen, Glen Ivy and Dos Lagos. Sunday afternoons in the bar offer $4 pints and lots of cheap bites at $4 - $7 a plate. How can you go wrong?

  • Rick L.

Happy hour prices on appetizers have gone up about 40% so it's not much of a deal anymore. Also gone is the "half-price beer" promo on Thursdays. I was wondering why the restaurant was empty on a usually happening Thursday night ... and then I saw the updated "happy hour" menu. Still nice for a special occasion but can no longer call it my usual Thursday night hangout.

We stopped in on the recommendation of a friend and we're pleased beyond our highest expectation. The ambience is beautiful, the food was outstanding with fresh seafood and the wine was great. Our server Lindsey was gracious and attentive, and the manager Paco was the perfect host. And yes, the creme brûlée was the perfect ending to a beautiful dining experience.

First time at Citrus City Grille. We came for the Sunday brunch. We were very impressed with the selection of foods. The server was very aware of the refills for the bottomless mimosas and bloody Mary's. The Manger as well came over to make sure everything was to our liking and to get our feedback. We will be back for sure. Great service great food and great drinks!

Better than just AOK. I'm giving 3 stars soley for their outside area. It's cute, it's nice and if it's cold out, you don't realize it because of their abundance of firepits and heating lamps. Service outside is abysmal, even before the DJ starts spinning music. The "bouncers" that check your ID are super nice, especially seeing a dumbass drunk went to go pee and then walked outside and thought the doors were "locked" and tried to get back by jumping the gate whilst rustling the curtains behind the DJ. The bouncer came out and he just let him back in.. most of the time if that kind of stuff happens, the bouncer shoves the guy back by the collar and won't let him back in. Hmm I ordered a vodka water (I know, i'm an alcoholic) and it was pretty much all vodka and no water. I saw the menu and wanted to eat, but the server came by once and we asked for more time and she just never came back. We ended up just drinking a little and going to Ra to drink some more and eat and came back to dance. Sad, because I think i'd rather eat something here bc what I ate at Ra was just not tasty and of bad quality. DJ there was aiight. Hip hop mixed with some reggaeton; old school mixed with some top 40 stuff. I wouldn't come here just to dance, i think it was just a nice afterthought although I'd rather prefer with all the beautiful decor, some live acoustic music or jazz instead of that ratchet business. lol

Steve, thank you for your response. No further clarification is needed on your weekend policy, as it was explained to me upon arrival. I also listened to your staff explain this policy to several other guests who arrived with the same inquiry. There are several other areas in which guests are able to sit and receive service, however my comment was based on the belief that paying guests should be able to sit wherever they are most comfortable, rather than be denied access to an area that remains vacant for several hours. I completely understand the need for more upscale establishments in Corona and applaud your efforts for trying to bring the Vegas experience to the IE.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! We had to wave someone down to even get a menu on the patio which only had four tables taken. Ordered drinks and waited for a half hour to take our appetizer order. Asked for water from 3 different servers and when our food arrived (without plates, which never came) asked again. 35 minutes later got water. Asked for check from two servers so far and no check yet. I guess we should have went to TAPS. Oh and we watched 3 other tables go to the bar inside and get their own drinks. Still waiting for check. The best part of the night was yummy cake free from a beautiful lady celebrating her birthday.

This rating really isn't about their food. It's about their poor management. My friend and I went for lunch Saturday, October 18th. She had a gift certificate that she purchased at a charity auction for $30.00. This certificate entitled her to "ONE FREE DINNER ENTREE". There are no restrictions, no expiration dates. However, we asked if we could use it for lunch instead of dinner (Lunch items are less expensive than their dinner items) so we really didn't think this would be an issue. We were told by the hostess that the Manager said she could not honor this as the person that issued the certificate is no longer affiliated with Citrus City Grille. She did say that she would throw in a dessert if we wanted (how kind). Offer a dessert that cost you a couple of bucks vs. an ENTREE that we paid for. So much for making a donation because it appears the vendor feels they're are not obligated to honor it if the employee that issued is no longer working there. So sad that a restaurant would tarnish a fairly good reputation over a lunch entrée. The manager never had the courtesy to come talk to us herself. She just let the hostess give us the bad news. This entire situation was shady and completely unprofessional of the Manager. That is their job ....to take care of their customers. I have frequented their establishment many times, usually parties of 4 or more. This will not be the case any longer. I refuse to give business to an establishment that rips off their customers for a crummy 12.00 lunch entrée. There are plenty of other options just a few feet away. A prime example of poor management...one who cannot see the value of a customer and has no problem losing continued business over a few dollars. EDIT****So I did respond to the Manager's response right away....No response yet from her. Makes you wonder if she really does "appreciate my loyalty"...such an easy fix that clearly they are unwilling to make.

Sunday brunch was amazing!!!! Our waitress was great! She was down to earth and very professional. Not to mention she kept my glass filled with the best mimosas EVER!!! Will defiantly be heading back here soon. The variety of food was great.

PARTY OF 19 GOT SCREWED!!!! Service equivalent to a shameless bank charging for every nickle and dime with no disclosure they're doing so--as in charging our friend's birthday party guests $2 PER SLICE, on top of their tabs, for cutting our own birthday cake for 19 guests. You do the math--that's $38--to take 38 seconds to make 19 slices into the cake. WTF! Add one semi-rude manager "Bill", uptight waitress, and melodramatic waiter, and you get 19 dissatisfied guests who will never return.

Great restaurant!! Been here many times and it really is amazing. The view is amazing of the lake at sunset. They have a great happy hour cocktail and food menu. Leo has helped us several times and has never disappointed! Cant wait to come back and sip on a citrus martini:)

I actually had a bad experience here on the service side, not so much the actual food. So let me preface this by saying that it was my bosses idea to come here as he frequents the bar here and has always had good experiences (the whole office came here for our Annual Dinner last December so I too had a good experience here) We were having a small office baby shower for my co worker as well so we had hoped the service would be great as this was her first time eating here. For whatever reason we got the worst waiter they have there. He is an older gentleman with very little personality and not very much experience waiting(by his own admission) My co worker asked him if she could have 'salmon on linguine' , he said yes they could do that but he looked confused. When her food came out its smoked salmon on salad which is really not even close... When we point this out he says he must have missunderstood. This whole time mind you we have to flag him down for drinks, my boss is beginning to get embarrassed as he recommended this place... Before he brings out the correct food a waitress my boss recognizes from the bar comes over to say hi and is super nice, my boss tells her he very unhappy with the service as our current waiter is very awkward and has brought us the wrong meal and was not very apologetic about it. The waitress was upset for my boss because she sees him pretty regularly so she brings out the manager, the manager said " we will take her food off the bill" which we all had interpreted as she is getting her lunch for free, turns out he meant only the incorrect item would be free (of course it would be free thats a no brainer, they messed up!) In any event, the annual dinner won't be held here I can tell you that. So the reason I'm leaving 3 stars instead of 2 is because the food is still pretty good. Service, meh.

This shit was whack as fuck tonight. Guess everyone was at the BET awards clubs, cause this shit was whack as whack can be. Some dude bought me a fireball and that was the only interesting thing of the night.

Awesome!! I came in on Tuesday night and sat at the beautiful fire pit while enjoying some wine with friends. The happy hour food and drinks are amazing, hands down the best happy hour around. My waiter was very professional, had great recommendations, and we always had everything we needed. I will defiantly be returning and letting my friends and family know about this high class establishment.

Came here for Sunday bottomless Mimosa lunch which ended at 3, perfect for slackers. The place has a great decor, definitely a great place to bring a overnight date to. Brunch and all its glory is $25 each, which you can easily get your moneys worth. The food was good and plentiful, scrambled eggs, above average brunch bacon, ahi tuna, spinach stuffed chicken, deserts, a ham, roast beef, waffles, but what it was missing was that human touch of a omelette bar and freshly made waffles. My date was waiting for shrimp that never came... Overall the service was great, the food was good and it was bottomless champagne for 25 bucks, well definitely come back.

Good champagne brunch but not sure if I can eat $27 worth.... Came for a birthday and the owner came by to wish our friend a happy birthday!! Nice service. Not sure why we had to pick either champagne or blood Mary... I would return!

Stopped in on a Sunday evening for dinner and I was craving some steak. The ambiance was very relaxing and elegant, jazz music playing in the restroom and mostly couples enjoying dinner. The hostess was very nice and seated me at my table immediately in front of the scenic window overlooking the lakes at Dos Lagos. I ordered some calamari as an appetizer, and a rum & coke to wash it down with. The calamari was fresh and crispy, and came with a spicy apricot sauce the was pretty good. I ordered the rib eye medium rare with mashed potatoes and roasted vegetables, and my server was super sweet. Crystal i think was her name and her service was perfect. Quick to fill up water and bring any requests. The manager was also walking around the floor, asking how everything was and if there was anything he could get, but not in an annoying way. The steak was perfect, bright pink in the middle and juicy. Potatoes were good as well as the veggies, no overwhelming garlic taste like many places do. I was so full, i knew better than to finish my steak, because i wanted to leave room for dessert. I ordered the lemon meringue, and some coffee and the pie came out more like a tart. The meringue wasn't your typical style, made with cane sugar, and a tad bit more sweeter. Everything was perfect. Food, service, cleanliness, and ambiance. Though it's a tad pricey, i have no problem coming back for more excellent service and impeccable food.

Food is good. A little pricey. Service has been great. My favorite- thanksgiving brunch. Been here a bunch- usually special occasions- birthdays, holidays and wedding rehearsal dinner- each time the service was perfect. Even with the number of people we had in your party.

My husband and I have been here about 4-5 times. And each time we have really enjoyed the food and the service was fine too - nothing too noteworthy there. I like the simple menu that they offer - there aren't a million things to choose from, which tells me that the kitchen is really able to focus on a smaller number of items and put out quality vs. quantity. They seem to do their best to keep people interested in coming back and enjoying the ambiance as well as the food - weekend brunch, live jazz music on Wednesdays, and a night club type atmosphere on weekend nights. Every food item that I have ordered has been delicious and well crafted. OH! And the view! There is a very lovely view of the lake from the patio area, which is also a great spot for people-watching during busy days/times. The only negative thing that I have to say is that the last 2 times I've eaten here, I experienced stomach issues afterwards... Very likely related to my overly-sensitive stomach and not a true reflection of their food/ingredients. My husband ate the same things I did and had no problems with his digestive system afterwards (lucky jerk ;) I do enjoy this restaurant so I'll likely be back, but maybe not for a little while, and will go easier on the menu for my stomachs sake. But do go, I recommend the experience and the food (despite my own issues).

We made reservations for dinner here tonight. Seating was swift, service was fairly slow. You could not order from the original menu, as they only offered a Valentine's menu. We placed an appetizer order, and upon delivery, the guy had our food in one hand, and the other with his finger in his ear. Yeah, pretty gross! Finally after another 35+ minutes our dinner was served. Sadly my husbands Chilean Bass was bone cold! Additionally his risotto was flavorless. I ordered the rack of lamb, and it had a nice flavor, but was served lukewarm, at best. I don't expect that we will return any time soon. Perhaps once they address these repeated problems, as the ambiance is fantastic! Please management, listen to your reviews and make the necessary changes. There is so much potential!

I have eaten here on several occasions. Lunch, brunch and dinner and I have never been disappointed. On a brunch date with the family the owner and Chef Joe came out to greet us. That was very nice. Everything we tried was tasteful and well-prepared. I can't complain. The bread they serve with the dipping oil is delightful! I can keep eating away. It really is good. My favorite dish thus far is the steak tacos dish. OMG! The steak is so tender and the sauce they add to it just goes hand in hand. Their was definitely a party in my mouth that day. =) I've tried their burgers and fries as well and they to were gratifying but nothing like the tacos. I will definitely return. Cheers

DOES MANAGEMENT READ THESE? If so, you should know I gave 4 stars because I want to keep your average rating up, we're rooting for you Dos Lagos! However... Visit was about 6:30 on Saturday night Pros: Great cocktails Great starter salads Great steak special Cons: When you're paying $150+ on a date night dinner you expect a certain level of service...time for some better training management! Server got my drink wrong and argued me about it Server didn't know the specials Wife asked for lemon for her Caesar, server made a face, questioned if we really wanted it, and never brought it out. Asked for salt and pepper, server only brought salt Seafood linguini was served with spaghetti pasta not linguini, too much butter Mistaken cocktail was put on the bill One more thing, was dining on the patio and 4 smokers sat at the table next to us, how appetizing! Get with the times Citrus City, no more patio smoking, at least until food service hours are over!!!!

I've only been here on Friday / Saturday nights, which are pretty cool. Their set-up is outside (dance floor, etc...), so it's weather dependent. However, if it's cold, they do have fire pits and outdoor heaters, which help a lot. What I love the most about this place is the music! They DJ plays hip-hop (like Drake, 2 Chainz, etc...) and not techno (!!) LOL. Love dancing here. Definitely a local favorite :)

You can find myself and a close friend here almost every Monday night as regulars. Such a wonderful quaint place to end a long day, smoke some cigars whilst drinking fine alcoholic beverages, and enjoying the scenery. I'd like to add, that our bartender Kyle is the greatest. Very helpful and answers all our questions. Great place to be!

I'm sitting here now at city citrus and its $55 a head. The place is over packed. They are way understaffed. Bacon and sausage empty on the buffet line. No employees at all watching what gets empty. Several other trays empty. People grabbing grapes by their hand because there is no spoon. Disgusting. I have ate here many times and always pleased. Super big zero for them today!! Prime rib is super undercooked. Like I mean beyond red. Three sets of utensils for four people. Took forever and food was cold by the time they brought the other set. Whoever organized this had their head up their butt and should find something else to do with their life!!! I did get a response as I figured I would. Yelp is a helpful tool to express your good and bad experiences. I made reservations a week prior to going to city citrus. I was told at the time that they were fully booked but if someone cancelled I would be called. This tells me that they knew ahead of time that they were swamped and could have made arrangements to staff properly. Or they overbooked and didn't care and the only thoughts were towards profit! Either way, Mother's Day comes once a year and I don't think it was worth $2.99 a plate. They had tables set up in awkward places and cramped people everywhere to get as many bodies in as possible. It was very unorganized and again not ONE person standing behind the buffet looking for when things were empty. I stood waiting and hoping someone would at least come by so I can get the items I wanted. Their plates were very dirty. Each and every one of us had to look for a clean plate. All of them were soaking wet. This is a 100% honest review and it deserves to stick.

Me and couple ladies came here after our mini-spa day at Glen Ivy yesterday. It was a nice little retreat out of the IE heat. We had never been here before and chose it according to it's yelp rating and price point, but I'm so glad we did. The decor was beautiful and it was very classy, I also loved the open kitchen. We made it in for brunch which was $27.99. They allowed us to take a look before we decided if we wanted brunch or just lunch which was really nice. We were totally sold on brunch with all of the different options, including Ahi Poke! Needless to say, we ate our money's worth, and with other options like cocktail shrimp, eggs benedict, bacon, sausage, eggs, a french toast and waffle bar with fruits, granola, nuts, yogurt and of course, really good maple syrup and whipped cream, mussels, baked fish, ham, different desserts and several other things we were super full by the end of it. I got the itis on the way back home to Oceanside, and I don't think it had anything to do with our morning at the spa. I'm pregnant, just trust me, it was delicious =0).

came here for their sunday brunch because i had a BOGO 50% off awhile ago. Otherwise I would have never came here. The selection for their Sunday brunch is pretty typical. Breakfast items, selection of meats, pancakes, waffle, a pretty small selection of desserts and fruits. The best thing about sunday brunch is the mimosas...and plenty we had. But the champagne they served gave me the biggest headache ever....so returning for champagne brunch is probably not in the near future. The service was good, and for the price (with coupon) was worth it. i've been hearing about their happy hour and sat night DJ nights, so i may be back to check those out.

(Friday night bar/music area) I have one huge complain with one of their barternders. I never got this certain individuals name because she refused to give it to me and she was completely rude. She has a bad attitude like if doing her job is an inconvenience to her. I did not appreciate her bad mouthing us to her coworkers in front of us and let her know. Management (Deena) did a horrible job of handling the situation. They lost 22 customers that night and we all promise to never go back. I'll be sure to tell everybody i know to never go there. (I will update my post once i find out this bartenders name. She is a horrible person).

My husband and I recently moved to the area and decided to try a new restaurant where we had not .been before. We decided to go for happy hour last Sunday and we were so pleased. We received the best service from the bartender, Kyle. I had an special request for my drink and he gladly made me a martini that was off the menu. My husband and I enjoyed our martinis and then we had the calamari sliders. Kyle offered some great suggestions for wine pairings with our meal. We had a great experience overall and will definitely be dining here again.

For all the fancy hype (and prices) this place was a serious letdown. EVERYTHING was average and unremarkable, from the service to the soup. Never going back again, ever. I could've found a better restaurant at a quarter of the price.

Great food, great service, moderate prices. I order the "Seafood Linguine" without the linguine for a very tasty but different flavored cioppino, yum, and my wife orders the shrimp with angel hair pasta!!. Stop and say hello to Justin for us, he's a great waiter and a genuinely nice guy. But, no matter who your waiter/waitress is you will find them to be excellent, even the busboys or really nice and attentive. Steve and Steve the owners, come around frequently to make sure their high standards have met your needs as does their maître d'. Don't miss it!! As a side bar, someone has it in for this great restaurant. I've read some of the latest reviews and I think someone is tying to make a serious problem. If I had trad these before I had gone there I would have missed the great delights of my culinary experience!! Someone is either trying to close this establishment with malicious comments or was angered by someone there. There isn't a person there who fits that description of a bad server let alone person. Too bad you can't sue someone for slander in a review!! Whoever they are, they have it coming. Again, one of the truly great restaurants I've ever been to and I've been to many.

I love everything about this restaurant! It's clean, modern, and the food is great! One of the managers, Bill, is very accommodating and makes sure our order is perfect each and every time! I come here every Tuesday for the buy one get one free pasta, and they're all amazing (my personal favorite is the Vegetable Penne)! You have got to try the chocolate soufflé, it takes about half an hour to make (baked to perfection) so make sure you order it ahead of time! I recommend it if you're in the Corona area, it's one of the best restaurants and worth your visit!

We had originally planned to go to Mazz in the Riverside Plaza (where Citrus City used to be) -- but turns out they went out of business YESTERDAY!!! BUMMER!!! Mazz had an awesome brunch buffet. Only $17.99 for bottomless mimosas and a fantastic buffet (including taco and omelette bar). We needed something to satisfy our brunch craving. We decided to try out the brunch buffet at CCG. Only $25 per person, including bottomless mimosas and a Bloody Mary bar. The service and ambiance was great. No qualms there. The food itself was a pretty good selection -- fruit, salad, shrimp cocktail, scrambled eggs, eggs benedict, bacon, waffles, prime rib, dessert..... The problem mostly was that a lot of the hot food wasn't very hot and the cold food wasn't very cold. Everything was just kind of ok, and not really the temperature it should have been. The yogurt and fruit was great. Waffles were great. French toast was soggy. Creme brulee was a weird texture and temperature. The ahi was not cold. The bacon was cold. Overall, everything was just kind of okay. I would've liked more for $25 -- a great value, but at least control the food temp!!!

Upon arrival, there was no one in the front to check in. Although they are pack, seems like this place lacks management structure. We WAITED AND WAITED FOR 15 minutes before we checked in. We waited again to for our seating. Another 20mins, we finally sat for brunch, we WAITED ANOTHER 15min to order our drinks. Although this place is very nice inside, we will not come back. Horrible service.

Bought a gift certificate for this establishment years ago when there was a Riverside Plaza location, and afterward decided not to give it to the intended person because she is a picky eater and might not like anything on the menu. Used yesterday for our anniversary lunch. Let me say something positive first. The bread and balsamic vinergarette was quite tasty. I ordered the wild mushroom penne in Marsala sauce. I love mushrooms. I do not think I have ever been more disappointed in a meal. The sauce tasted like pancake syrup. Thinned out pancake syrup. I discovered That pancake syrup is not good on pasta or mushrooms. Actually inedible. It was so sweet I could only take 3 bites. My husband agreed it was VERY sweet. The waitress came by and asked if I liked it, and I told her it was sweet and she informed me it was from the brandy in the sauce. I told her it tasted like pancake syrup, she laughed and I did nicely suggest she should taste it. I assume she did not. I could not eat it, which has only happened to me one other time in my 57 years of dining at restaurants. The plate even spelled of pancake syrup so strongly I had to remove from in front of me. One can only smell pancake syrup for so long. My husband ordered the seafood linguini, it was okay. Not worth $18.00. The sauce had much more oil/butter than similar dishes we have had at other restaurants. I am thankful I never gave the gift certificate to my friend! And I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We have frequented this place before, and returned to celebrate my birthday last night, only to be Frustrated by the Horrible Service, False Representation among staff, and the Worst quest to find someone at this restaurant who could remedy the situation. The owners of this establishment need to retrain there staff, hire new staff, and act as if they care about those that are patronizing there business. Let me explain...we had reservations for party of 8-10. We were quickly seated to our table, only to meet the Waiter Gilbert (terrible waiter). He did not listen to what our party wanted as we ordered drinks. We requested a particular brand of expensive tequila. Gilbert quickly stated, we don't have this brand, meanwhile we saw it at the bar, and told him, he replied.."oh". Then we requested a bottle of Moscato which was on the menu...Gilbert brings a cheap bottle of screw off Yellow Tail, and tries to charge us the price of the more expensive bottle, again we caught him! We then asked for the Manager...(this is the Big Issue), he pretends to bring the "Manager" over, and the "Manager", whom identified himself as being the "Manager" was no more than the "Lead Server" as we questioned about why the "Manager" had on an apron, and a bit more further inquiry we discovered he was a "server". As per Gilbert, he stated he was scared, and could not find the "Manager", so he lied. We are intelligent, educated people, and business owners, and never have we experienced such a display of lies, plots, and misconduct. RA Sushi Bar, saved my Birthday dinner, great staff, Management, and Service. Thank you Lauren Alvarado, at RA! They were a blessing after the fiasco at Citrus City Grille. T$$$ 1/24/2014

The atmosphere is great here , the food is ok. I came, saw , try and maybe come back later or not . The bread was fresh and warm . The prime rib sandwich was ok but missing something.

I'm giving this place 4 stars because the food and the bread and sauce are amazing I drive all the way over here just to eat here but the service is really bad they literally took 10 minutes to take my order than another 20 minutes to bring my food and the place is literally empty right now since it isn't dinner yet but whatever the food is amazing

  • Michelle W.

Star lost for a slip up in service. The lunch crowd was decent yet many of the workers looked idle, which may explain why after we were seated we were ignored for upwards of 10 minutes. One of the bus boys came with bread and was like "have no orders been taken yet?!" after noticing we didn't even have water. He got them for us, and our server was apologetic when she finally arrived. The food was great per usual! Yellow fin tuna salad comes with an avocado roll, which is like a fried avocado egg roll.. so yummy!! Want to come back soon for happy hour.. The appetizers others around us ordered looked yummy!

  • Jaime M.

I will be honest and admit my expectations were low only because the place is always empty, at least when I pass by. My experience has surpassed my expectations. Both my appetizers were very delicious. I will say the spring roll was more of an egg roll, but nevertheless very tasty. The blue cheese stuffed dates were outstanding. The entrees; stuffed chicken and meatloaf were legit. The best part, check in on yelp and get a free dessert. We got the flourless Cake, and it was Damn good. I recommend coming to this place at least once to check it out for yourselves. I. Well def be back again!

Went to this restaurant for the first time on Saturday evening to celebrate a friend's birthday. The restaurant is beautiful - modern décor, nice open kitchen, and tables dressed in white linen. They have a patio that oversees the beautiful surroundings. Outside the restaurant they have their dress code posted. I'm not sure if the dress code only applies to Saturday nights but patrons must dress to impress. So here are the pros and cons: PROS: Lovely restaurant. Great view from the outside patio. Beautiful wine & cocktail glasses Lively ambience - Patio area turned into a night club around 10 pm and the DJ played great music all night long. Bus staff kept the tables clean and continuously brought us water. CONS: Customer service from server was extremely poor. - We had reservation, yet they weren't ready for us when we arrived. - Ordered Bottle service but had to wait for them to "cut the limes" for about 20 minutes before they poured the drinks. FYI....bottle of Absolut vodka was $192 ($150 bottle, $30 gratuity & tax). We were served once and then we were on our own. - We had continuously ask for ice and juice, whenever we could grab a hold of the server. - It took at the very least 30 minutes to get 3 appetizers. By the time the food arrived the calamari was soggy and the sliders were cold. - I had to ask my server 3 times to close my tab before she finally did. - We ended up going to the bar to get our drinks since we seldom saw the server. Poor selection of tap beer (4 or 5 choices) and they were craft beer. Expensive - Not sure what I paid for drinks at full price (misplaced first receipt) but my second receipt showed $ 5 per 12 oz. domestic bottled beer and $ 9 wine glass. Supposedly they had happy hour after 9 pm so I can only assume that was the price during happy hour. Small Portions & quality of food was alright - The order of wings consisted of 6 or 7 wings, 2 sliders per order, and calamari was in a small plate. Although the cons added up, the ambience was great and I had reconsidered returning but next time without requesting bottle service and with only a handful of friends, perhaps service would be better; HOWEVER, that will not happen! Approximately after an hour of being there and spending about $ 400 (among the group), the bouncer came to our area to request to view IDs AND charge us $10 a person for cover charge! Are you kidding me?? He told us that we had to pay, even if we were inside the restaurant having dinner. He said, "Everyone has to pay this so they can have all we offer - the DJ, bouncers, and servers." I have NEVER been to a restaurant that charges a cover charge AFTER the customers had already been there consuming for well over an hour. This business practice REALLY upset me because we didn't have much of a choice since we had just opened the vodka bottle. What were we to do? Ask for a "to go" container for the vodka?? We asked to speak to the manager to see about waiving the cover charge but he only waived it for the birthday boy and his wife. The amount of the cover charge is irrelevant, I simply didn't appreciate the business practice of collecting cover charge from customers that had already been consuming for over an hour. I gave it a 2 star because the place is lovely, DJ was off the hook, and because our bus girl kept us hydrated throughout the night but other than that, this place is overpriced, lacks customer service and has poor business practice. Not sure about what the bouncer meant about "all they offer." We didn't get much service and I could have cared less if he, the bouncer, was there. Next time I'll stick to El Torito or Toby Keith's, they offer a live band & DJ with no cover charge before 8 pm.

My daughter and I went to the Citrus City Grille for lunch. We go out once a week to bond. I had the fish tacos and my daughter the ravioli. The food was delicious. The waitress was very nice. Then the manager shows up and starts talking to us. He was very nice, told us about other dishes to try next time. I was impressed. The staff is great, Paco the manager was very friendly. Made me feel welcomed. I will definitely come back. We pay for good service and good food. We got all that.

I took my bf's mom here for her bday. By far the best hummus plate, ahi and ravioli's I have ever had. If you get a spot on the patio, you will enjoy the view and catching the sunset over the lake.

My wife and I eat here often... Consistently great food and great service. Blake and Lindsey are among our favorite servers and the managers Mike and Marco are very attentive and make sure that our meal is the best it can be. They have an outdoor space and a private party room for groups that is very nice, and the wine list is better than most places in the area. One of our favorite places to eat and bring friends because you can always count on good food and great service! Would highly recommend.

This is one of my regular hangout spots. However, I was very unhappy after I left during my last visit, that's why I'm not giving this place a 5. If you are a minority and have a red headed older waitress, request to get someone else! I went with a group of friends and 2 of us ordered sea bass. She had the audacity to tell us that the plates were $36 each and gesturing like it's too expensive! Just because we are minorities doesnt mean we can afford it. My friends and I are all well educated with well paying jobs. Very insulting!

I used to like Citrus City, but i came in Friday night for a late dinner, and I was really disappointed. We sat in the bar and ordered off their happy hour menu, which is what I have always done. I ordered the hummus, sliders, and fries. The hummus was a little oily and had a funny flavor to it. I'm not sure what ingredient they added, but it was odd and the consistency of the hummus was a little off. The sliders were some of the worst I have ever eaten. The meat was rubbery and grisly and the bun was just ok. The fries were soggy. French fries are my favorite comfort food, and Citrus used to have really delicious thin crispy fries. I don't know why on earth they would ever change them! Perhaps this location has changed hands or management. I'm not really sure what is to blame. Even the service was sub par. Our waiter was somber and expressionless and seemed really depressed. As I said, I used to enjoy their happy hour, but after this visit, I don't think I will ever return.

  • Shaheen M.

I came here with a friend Friday night around 9:30 PM to grab some dinner. We sat at a table in the bar area and they forced us to wear these tacky orange bracelets. Our server seemed bored and depressed as he was expressionless and quiet. We ordered the off of the happy hour menu. We got the hummus, citrus city grille sliders, the fries, and the tiramisu. The hummus didn't taste great and was topped with chopped tomato which I'm not a fan of in hummus. The sliders were very basic and the meat was dry and tasted burnt. The fries were thick and soggy. The tiramisu had thick layers of cream and was dull. On top of all this, the price was not right. $10 for 3 mediocre sliders. I guess this is an okay place for a date night in Inland Empire for the ambiance and late night DJ music and dancing, but overall I wouldn't recommend it for foodies.

Horrible. This place is extremely dissapointing. The prices are steep, and the portion size is a joke. It wouldn't be too bad if the food was at least edible. But the food tasted like someone stepped on dog crap, wiped it off the bottom of their shoe and served it up on a plate. The hummus looked and tasted like vomit. The penne pesto pasta had a weird tasting sauce that instantly made my stomach turn. The veggie burger was very bland tasting. Everything we ordered had a bad flavor. The chicken dish was okay, and the salads were decent. But for the high price, definitely not worth it. Absolutely atrocious food. Will never come back here again. $25 for a tiny helping of nasty tasting penne pasta?!? What are the chiefs smoking. They must be on drugs. P.s. Citrus Grill management please don't even bother contacting me. This review is staying up. People need to know that this place sucks. Rip off and horrible food. Side note: We will be doing a Del Taco run because we could not even force ourselves to eat that diarrhea they cooked.

Updating my review because I have been here alot since my initial visit that wasn't stellar. (Sorry I never responded to management I never saw your response! I definitely appreciate you taking the time to respond) This place has actually become one of my favorites. Glad I gave it another try. I was won over with a wonderfully done caprese salad on special. The service that day was lacking, our waitress had long tacky nails and never brought us bread until after our meal when we asked, but the reduction dressing on the salad made up for it. I LOVE that I can come here and request something that has been a special and if the chef has the ingredients on hand he will make the dish even if it's not on the menue. The kitchen here is top of the line and their food rocks. They are becoming a go to for us because I know I'm going to leave happy. Happy hour drinks are very yummy. Tasty well made 7$ martinis, yum. The small plate offerings are not my favorites however. I'd just like different options I guess. What the menue lacks in options in that department it makes up for in their constantly inventive and ever changing specials. So the food and drinks, fice star, love. I still have been more often than not dissatisfied with the service. This evening was the first night I have actually had great service so I thought I'd give a shout out to our sever 'Jesse' because he was awesome at his job!

My husband and I had dinner on the patio Tuesday and it was so yummy! They had some Jack Daniels wings as a special that I need to have again! The ambiance was lovely and we happened to see Jupiter and Venus clearly as they seemed to meet in the sky. We will go back again soon.

The food in my opinion wasn't good at all!!! Started with the edamame and it tastes like glazed lime juice so sour!!! We sent it back and ordered the grilled octopus and the was also horrible was really over cooked!!! The pastas were bland with no flavor and our chicken was burnt. If I want a good meal next time I'm going back to TAPS...

Very delicious meal. We came here on a Friday night and no wait to get seated with our toddler. We got a kids meal which is such a great deal and also the dates and short ribs small plate and the pot roast dinner. The pot roast was delicious especially the sauce and it was cooked real well. The dates wrapped in bacon was also good. Got the Creme brûlée for dessert and that was super yummy. Everything came out fantastic and service was prompt except for when our waiter took a break then his back up was busy with their own tables.

This place was a GEM! Loved the atmosphere. Very beautiful inside and clean. The restaurant is HUGE and has a big bar with happy hour after 10! They had a DJ and dancing on the patio until after 2am. Went for my friends 25th birthday. Great service, Kyle was really nice and funny. The food was awesome, definitely recommend the stuffed dates! Thanks for a great evening, cannot wait to come back!

Exquisite food! Amount of serving is just right. You are paying for premium food. If you want cheap food and big portions go to home town buffet. Ambiance is very clean, low lighting, open kitchen and very classy. On certain nights you can expect entertainment outside next to the fire pits. We have always received great service. My husband and I have been here several times for dinner and brunch on Sundays - amazing every time.

I definitely don't consider myself a picky person when it comes to food and service, restaurants, etc. but i am so disappointed with this place and I wish i could give it 0 stars! The ambiance is definitely nice and lively and both times I went i enjoyed the live music. But on my way to the restroom, during my 1st visit, a waiter said something to me which i misunderstood so i just smiled and kept walking. As i was walking i could hear him tell "what happened" to his coworker and laughing. It sounds silly but I was pretty offended. What did i do that was so funny? And why would you laugh at a customer? At least wait till i leave.. I wasn't going to do anything about it but my bf felt bad so we went and spoke to a gentlemen (which i believe was the manager?) Not sure but his name was Paco. He seemed understanding and told us that if we came back next week that "he would take care of us". We thanked him and left. We went back last night around 9 and Paco greeted us and told us to find a seat. The whole time we were thinking that it was nice that he remembered us and that maybe he would give us a drink or dessert or an appetizer or something on the house. What else does "he will take care of us" mean? After we got the bill we had the waitress (who was nice btw) just double check with Paco. Anyways we ended up paying full price for everything (ok whatever thats fine). But when i talked to him on my way out he had the nerve to act like i was being unreasonable. He then said come back next time and ill see what i can do. I was like UHM you must be joking..you really think we're gonna come back for that? Overall disappointing experience both times. Never going back...

My first time at this restaurant kept me coming back! My parents planned my graduation party at this restaurant and it could not have turned out any better. My party had roughly 70 guests and the service was incredible. The servers were super hospitable, the timing and taste of the food was perfect, and the patio seating offered an excellent view. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for their regular lunch and dinner courses, but I especially want to highlight how amazing they were with my party and other large events. Also perfect for date night!

Came here recently for brunch , nice alternative to driving all the way out to Orange County for a decent brunch . I have come here before a few times for dinner and once for lunch (great salads) but first time for brunch and it was great. Food was just as good as dinner, and they had eggs Benedict made to order! Most places have it sitting on the hot line getting all soggy not here. They obviously take pride in the bunch just as much as they do dinner. Plan to come back with some friends this Sunday ! Ps they also have all you can drink Bloody Mary bar! Nice change vs only having mimosa which our server Sandra kept full the whole time!

First-timer. Definitely has a date-night ambiance. On the pricier side. Ordered the stuffed chicken breast (substituted the jasmine rice for mashed potatoes) & a raspberry lemonade martini. My friends did the same, and also had crab cakes & the calamari. No complaints about the dinner whatsoever. It was delicious. A few notes: Happy hour is only on the bar-side during 3-6 & 9-12 or closing, not too sure. They also have a DJ outside, but definitely for an older crowd. Lots of creepers. I guess you have to pay to get in if you aren't eating at the restaurant. They make you show your dinner receipt if you need to exit the building. Women's restroom was out of toilet tissue. One of the bartenders was not happy to be there.

The food is great! The service is very slow, be prepared to wait to order drinks.. Etc. There was a sweet lady that seems to be the manager kept checking up on us and the food was delicious! Only down fall was the bartender who seemed to be having a bad attitude and bad day. Service is always going to be important to me, one person can change the mood which is why i have 3 starts.

I've been here several times over the years, and it seems to be getting worse with each visit. Which is very unfortunate because this is a beautiful restaurant with so much potential. This time, we waited an hour WITH reservations & ended up sitting outside on plastic folding chairs. Annoying. Food is definitely overpriced. I had the Seared Ahi Salad. So good! But $26 worth? Hell no. The best part of our meal was the focaccia bread and balsamic dipping sauce. Like, 3 baskets worth good. They offer a free dessert "of your choice" with a Yelp check-in but end up bringing cold Creme Brûlée. Boo. Honestly, your best bet is to come druring happy hour. Drink & apps are decently priced & the patio seating is perfect for that.

So if you look underneath my original review, you can see Cindy's "sincere" apology for our night. But she didn't leave me a pm to respond to or any contact info. But honestly, I did want to complain formally about how poorly we were treated so I called Citrus City Grille directly and left my email and phone number. Unfortunately, Cindy's apologetic attitude was nothing more than a show to decieve the yelp community into believing CCG cares about our opinion. Nope - no email and no call. I even checked my spam folder. I wish I could give a negative star for fakeness. Or five.

Let me start with the GOOD. The Sunday brunch at Citrus City is amazing, the food is excellent and the service is always on point. Brunch is what kept me coming back...until I decided to have my birthday dinner there. Now the BAD, the very very BAD. 1. My 26 guests and I should not have to wait 45 minutes in the bar to be seated. When I made reservations 2 weeks in advance. Reservations your staff called to confirm twice the day prior. 2. When we were finally "seated" you had my party at THREE different tables. I shouldn't have to tell your staff how to arrange 3 tables into one table so that a large group can sit together. 3. The food, oh...the food. Bland, cold, sad. Not what I was accustom to from Citrus City. 4. Your poor waiters. I was going to make a comment on how slow they were but I could see them not only waiting our large group but also tables inside the restaurant. I will say they are lucky our group was honest because at the end of the night all they kept asking was "What did you eat? What did you drink? Am I missing anything?" Side note: I get it, you had two other large parties going on at the same time. But if you know your staff can not handle that many parties at once why book them? Afraid to lose business for one night? Sort of funny because after Saturday night, I don't believe one person from my group will return. Ever.

Love this place. So much good food. People like Sara H who comment just don't make any sence. To say they got food poisoning from the place then want gift cards to come back the next day. Boy, must have been real sick there, Sara. What some people will do for free food. The Kitchen Is visible from the restaurant. A little hard to hide any wrong doing. The Chefs are amazing. We love our bartender . We have been coming here for two years, nothing has changed, all is still delicious. They have a wide variety of food to choose from. Everything we order is amazing. Thanks Kyle for all the great service. You are why we like coming back

Was in the area Mother's Day and decided to try their brunch. Food was exceptional, server was very attentive and price was reasonable. Beautiful view of the lakes as well. Would have given five stars but for the fact that we didn't have reservations, and were seated promptly as there were only two of us, but we were offered a seat outdoors in the sun and were reminded four times that without a reservation we were not going to get a seat in the shade (paraphrasing, but the point was clearly made). Yes, it was busy, and no, we didn't have reservations, but we got the point the first time and didn't need additional reminders. This was a minor hiccup during an otherwise pleasant experience and great buffet. Lots of good food choices

This is our second time here. Nice atmosphere. Service was very good by several who took care of us. The food? Was excellent! My wife had the Chilean Bass Sea with Asparagus Risotto....So good, yes I had several bites. I had a specialty dish for that day a Gluten free pasta dish with a white cream sauce and Filet Mignon. Appetizers were the Coconut Shrimp and Bacon wrapped Dates. We will definitely be coming back!!!!

We have frequented this spot in the past without fail... until this past weekend. We also were snubbed by another restaurant nearby (Urban Thai) and tried this place. The tables inside were packed and we asked to sit in the outdoor patio. A busser turned on the heaters and brought down the shades for us. Then. we waited for our waiter and water. And waited. And waited. We waited at least 15 minutes until we got up and left. We even spoke to the hostess about our complaint and she didn't even flinch. We ended up driving to another nearby shopping center and getting top quality customer service from a fast food chicken spot. Maybe Citrus City should take a few customer service lessons from Chik-Fil-A.

Excellent dinner. Requested Chilean sea bass without the heavy sauce and they sautéed it simply and put the sauce on the side. Delicious. Asked for spinach instead of risotto, in addition to the asparagus, and they gave me the risotto, too. All were very tasty! Typical high end restaurant--big price tag (still within reason), small portions. But food was great, service was great, and the atmosphere was nice. No complaints! Cost was about $40 for entrée and a sparkling water.

We have been here numerous times and until recently we have always been extremely pleased. This is typically our go to place for brunch and they've always exceeded our expectations. However they've redone the set up and ended up closing brunch half an hour after we got there. The food that should've been cold was room temperature. The server and one of the managers tried their best to be accommodating however the manager Mike was a complete jerk. We've actually had an opportunity meet the owner and he's an amazing guy. I knew immediately that he wasn't there because this would've never happened had he been. They even had the audacity to charge for four items in an omelette versus three; it's not a huge deal just more the principle of it. Sad to say, we will not be returning.

I think I should have read all the bad review regarding large groups before I made my reservation. We were seated on time (made reservations 1 month in advance). The two mayor issues were the terrible service (slow, unfriendly waitress) and the food (stuffed chicken was dry and no flavor, pasta with mushrooms was over salty and the steak was dry). We were a party of 15 and one of the girls found two hairs on her plate. She informed the waitress and it seemed to bother her that she wanted to return it. Her meal didn't come out until we were all done eating and she had to take it to go. We are never going back and no one in my party was happy with the service or food

Came in during happy hour and sat in the lounge/bar. Nice atmosphere, strong drinks and decently priced grub! My mom and I got a few appetizers to share. I'd recommend the ahi poki, bacon wrapped stuffed dates, and the mac & cheese. But skip the charred edamame, we were not a fan of that dish at all! The sauce that the edamame comes in isn't very good and kind of ruined the dish for me.

Valentine's Day dinner was one of the worst experiences I've had. The service was lacking & the ambience was non-existent. For having a set menu(which we were not informed upon booking our reservation, but would have been nice to know), the restaurant was so unprepared! First of all, they sat us outside at a plain tablecloth-covered table. No place settings, candle, flowers...nothing. We had to ask for table settings, water, bread...and it wasn't even our waiter. We were just sitting there for about 20 minutes. Then, when they did bring us things, they couldn't even place it in front of my husband and I. They were set at the side of the table and we had to grab them ourselves. They did not even have busboys, etc. walking around to tend to the little things that customers need ( I.e. more water, cream and sugar for coffee, etc.) As for the food, the lobster ravioli and desserts were good. Filet Mignon, not so good...dry and tasteless. Upon complaining to manager, not too receptive, but did send me home with a new entree. Not worth the $65.00 per person.

STAY AWAY from this place!!!!!! They don't handle their food properly and will give u food poisoning!!!!!!!!! We usually come to this place and have our parties here and have never been disappointed! We came in on Monday with my cousins group of of 5 and that was one of the worse experiences we have had there. We had a male waiter not sure of his name but it seemed like he hated his job! He first doesn't greet us properly. He then takes an hr to take our drink order and once the drinks came to our table both of my cousins drinks had hair in it, almost looked like pubic hair ( grossssss ). He then took forever to take our food order! We wanted more bread and it was not given till the end of our meal. We have asked for salt and pepper for Mac n cheeses and didn't receive it until the end of our meal. What annoyed me the most is that they weren't even busy and the server didn't have the courtesy to apologize for his mistakes. He then dropped the check on our table without thanking anyone. Now I understand if this is In & out but if you consider yourself a gourmet restaurant then you should have a good service as well! Worst of all is that 3 out of 5 had food poisoning that night!!!!! Not only we had a horrible experience but who knows what they did to our food! No quality control. We will definitely report this restaurant to the state department of health! This is unacceptable and gross and we will never return to this restaurant and make sure everyone is aware that they don't take their quality assurance seriously

Service was a bit slow, but friendly. Bread came to the table before napkins and flatware. Our appetizer, which was a hot cheese, came to the table before the napkins and flatware and was barely warm by the time we did get utensils. :( Prime rib wasn't cooked evenly and more medium than medium rare. Overall, food was good, the outside dining area was nice, but a little pricey. We've eaten there a few times. Service is usually a bit better.

Celebrated the besties birthday here last night. We started the night off with dinner in the lounge area -- they have late night happy hour from 9-11pm on Saturdays so we wanted to take advantage of the low drink prices! I had the Chilean Sea Bass with asparagus risotto. AMAZING! I stuck with the house red wine to keep it classy. My friends all ordered martinis, but sadly they couldn't keep it classy as a few were served in short glasses instead of martini glasses. Apparently they were low on martini glasses. Really??? After dinner we went out to the outdoor lounge & enjoyed the music which was a nice mix of current & old school R&B and hip-hop. Some of us lounged...some of us shook a tail feather. Overall it was a great night...could've been excellent but the martini glass situation had us tripped up.

High Prices for the taste, but the quality was good in my opinion. They were offering a check-in deal for ANY free dessert and when I showed it to the waitress she said it was only for the creme brûlée. I was over it by that time so I didn't bother arguing with her. I'd maybe go back for lunch or drinks, the patio seating/view is nice. However, for the quality and price i'd rather go to Taps (next door) or Kings Fish House which is about 2 miles away.

Food and service was awesome!!! Agatha the event coordinator really did a marvelous job in setting up and preparing for my daughter's college graduation celebration. As well as she worked with me to stay on budget. We had a fairly large group of over 60 people and their attention to detail did not miss a beat! The atmosphere was breathtaking from our outdoor patio seating overlooking Dos Lagos lake. Despite the weather being partly clouding, guests were very comfortable with the outdoor heating. I was still getting compliments on what a great party it was days later. Our event took place over the Mother's day weekend and the restaurant inside was hopping and yet the customer service was impeccable!!! Thanks again to Agatha and the Citrus City Grille and their staff for making this event over the top incredible!!!

I'm quite surprised reading some of the bad reviews here. I hope to never experience a reason to not return as I was quite pleased with my first eating experience here. I recently ate here at recommendation of my Daughter (had a total party of 5) to celebrate her graduation. I really liked the vibe here. It seemed to be a slow night, which was fine with all of us. We were all pleased with our meals (I had the lamb, commonly mediocre, but not here). Our waitress was prompt, personable, and friendly. Next time I eat here, it will be to return with my girlfriend. Great place for a date. I live in Riverside and have never eaten in Corona before. The view in the back (lit bridge, benches, and water) is the perfect after-dinner spot for a stroll with your woman, and definitely worth a drive from the Riverside scene to catch a night out different than what's local to me.

Firstly I want to preface this review by }saying I went here for a private party and they had reserved a huge section located in the back and it was beautifully set up and very well handled as far as seating, food, music and other various logistical detailI. I liked the space - it is really a nice modern lounge/club venue and it seems very popular in the area..with that said I only requested one drink and one drink only----A TANQUERAY and tonic and 3 times I did NOT get it between 2 of the private party servers. What makes it so incredulous is the fact that on my 3rd and final attempt;I firmly believe that not only did the server attempt to pass me the same drink she had taken away but she then lied to top it off.... I do KNOW what TANQUERAY gin tastes like and for some reason I could not get it ----very strange but I guess I just wasn't meant to drink that night....this alone would not keep me from ever going back but it would give me pause for hosting a private event here.

This review is for the Sunday brunch buffet which is AMAZING. Definitely one of my favorite places for brunch!!! Poke, prime rib, shrimp cocktail, omelettes and waffles, pecan pie..my oh my. Plus unlimited mimosas or bloody Mary's? Count me in. Service has been good everytime we came too. I've never been here outside of brunch, but if the food is much better when ordered fresh, I'd definitely give it a try.

I don't want to bust their chops to bad on here... Because I very much enjoy the vibe at this restaurant (just not the prices). In my opinion, I immediately made the conclusion that the lunch food is more yummy than the dinner. But, word to the wise very limited selections. They ought to change it up now and again because with such a beautiful kitchen on display they should make good use of it!

Ordered the Pork Loin Chops for dinner and got it really under cooked. Told my waiter who did not apologize for it, but instead said he'll bring it to the manager's attention. No manager came to apologize. Rather than apologize, he came 15 minutes later with a new pork lion, at which point, I ate the rest of my family's leftovers and told the waiter I no longer want to eat the pork lion. Still, no apology. Management needs a refresher course on "how-to" work in the restaurant industry. A simply apology can go a long way...I guess, the manager is too busy. Btw, it was really slow tonight. First time trying citrus grill, and definitely the last. Thanks for the experience.

I love this place! It just gets better with every visit. The 1st time I ate here a couple years ago the food was delicious, service was attentive, cocktails were fantastic but the drinking water was HORRIBLE. My daughter ordered an ice tea & it tasted like dish water. It didn't take us long to figure out they used the same yucky water to make the ice cubes; we ended up ordering bottles of Pellegrino. The food & service brought us back the 2nd time, & we were pleased to see they resolved the nasty water issue. We've eaten here 5 times now; always dinner, & always delicious! There is an outdoor patio dining area as well as the bar area that becomes a lively nightclub after 10pm on weekends.

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and decided to try Citrus City Grill. We could not have picked a better place. The service and food was wonderful. The drinks are strong, the food is hot and delicious. The atmosphere is beautiful in the Corona location. Our only regret is not discovering this place a lot sooner. This was our first time visiting and we will definitely be back.

I arrived after 9, they have a cover charge to enter the restaurant. Once I sat with my party outside, who had reservations, I was only sitting there for 10 minutes until this rude lady came to our table asking if everyone had a wrist band. She said that everyone who didn't have a wrist had to pay, even though they were already eating and drinking. The woman in my party who made the reservations told the employee that she confirmed at 3 different times and they did not say that there would be a coverage charge. The employee then replied, "That could've been someone on the day shift and they don't usually know what happens in the evening." Last I checked, a company shouldn't be divided, everyone needs to be on the same page. It doesn't always happen that way, but thats an important piece of information to leave out for your 1st time customers. The waiters serving the food were rude and acted like they didn't want to be there, hated there jobs or both. And on top of that, the food wasn't all that great. They took forever to bring out the bill. The waiter forgot to bring another drink for the birthday girl. I had high expectations considering the price and the way people talk about this restaurant. The employees need to be retrained on customer service and their policy and procedures. After I had a few drinks, the atmosphere changed. It was ok, if you like top 40 music. If you want to get out the house and have a place to each and have the ambience of a lounge, you should give it a try.

I really like this place, despite my experience. I think it is a nice location, with a huge opportunity to have a 4.5+ rating, if they just step up in a few places. My husband and I came here for lunch on a Saturday a couple weeks ago, and were seated fairly quickly. Not a surprise, since they had quite a few patrons for an afternoon, but it's a huge building. We waited quite a while for our food. It wasn't all day, but it was certainly longer than we should have had to wait. It gave me an opportunity to see how the staff was acting. Everyone seemed stressed. Technically polite, we received everything we requested, but I have a feeling that they must have a lot of stress put on them for things they can't necessarily control. Working in food service in the past, I can say that that is a horrible atmosphere to be a part of, and it's not how you empower your staff to perform better. The woman who waited on us was very nice, but she looked like she was ready to pull her hair out. To me, that means they are either understaffed, or don't have the freedom to make people wait to be seated, to ensure proper service. The other thing was the food. It was, also technically, good. My husband loved his margarita pizza, but my wild mushroom penne was just blah. It was missing something. So I took it home and put some tomato sauce in it, and it was excellent. I just won't be getting that again. I do hope to come back soon and see a more relaxed staff, and try something else more promising.

Love this place! Great food, great atmosphere, great service. Good wine list to choose from. Perfect place to have a formal dinner or just do what me and my wife like to do; appetizers, wine. enjoy the patio and talk for hours. One of the best places in Corona!

Inside and outdoor seating. It was a bit warmer outside so we opted for sitting indoors. I came in with jeans and tennis, felt a little under dressed, but that didnt stop the great service I or my friend received. Large tables, good spacing between them. Although kitched was open, there wasn't a bunch of overwhelming sounds, chatter or noise from the kitchen! I enjoyed the balsamic vinaigrette and bread. Cesar salad dressing was ok. Salmon was tender, yet didnt have much flavor in the sauce. I used the balsamic vinaigrette for my fish. Also had no hassle using the coupon for a free dessert after checking in using Yelp.

After many recommendations, my BF and I finally decided to try Citrus City Grille this past Tuesday. The food and service could not have been better. I ordered the Surf and Turf and practically licked my plate. The steak was a perfect medium rare and the sea bass was outstanding. The pricing and servings were extremely reasonable (which makes any dinner great :) One of the best parts for me was their impressive wine menu. We can't wait to return! :)

Had my first dinner here on Valentine's day! Great clean place. The food was delicious. There was a shirt menu to choose from yet they still managed to have a great selection. I had the Yellow Tail Ahi as an appetizer which was amazing. Main course was the lobster ravioli which I highly recommend. Only complaint is that the reservations were made for 7 PM and we weren't seated till 720. We arrived at 640 so we were there for a bit. Aside from that our server was welcoming and I had a great time!

Came here on a Tuesday night with a party of 5 and a baby. The restaurant was close to empty with only maybe 3 other small parties in the dining area. The décor was very pleasant, especially the bathrooms. The orange-y tone of everything really reminds you that you're at "CITRUS" City Grille. Because it was such a slow night, you would expect us to be bugged every few minutes by the 3-4 servers that were working; however, that was not the case. There were a few times I had to flag down a server for a refill, I had to ask to have my food to be boxed up, and also ask for a dessert menu as well as the bill. So -1 for crappy service with no excuses. When it came to ordering, I was on the fence between the Lobster Ravioli or the Prosciutto Wrapped Scallops. I asked the server which one he preferred and he recommended the Scallops. I asked them how big they were and he cupped his hand and showed me they were about average size and that the dish includes 6 or 7 scallops and that they are freshly delivered every morning. Again, this was not the case. When the my dish came out it had only 3 scallops and it tasted horrible. Additionally, either the server was lying or they overcooked the scallops because it had a very chewy taste to them indicating that they may not be fresh. I should give them -2 for bad recommendation and bad tasting food, but I'll combine into just a -1. Tuesday night they have a special that is buy one pasta get the second one free. My sister-in-law wanted the Lobster Ravioli and my dad asked if he ordered the T-bone steak, would they honor the promotion. The server said no. My dad had to explain to the server that they would be making more money if they allowed him to order the steak and threw in the free pasta, being that the steak costs more than any pasta on the menu. The server still refused and my dad was forced to order the Seafood Linguine. -1 for stupidity The last -1 was the trouble they gave us for using the Yelp deal for checking-in. We all checked in and they would only allow one per table, which was fine since it was clearly noted on the deal. However, no where does it state that offers cannot be combined, meaning it was either the free dessert or the BOGO pasta. What's the point of advertising all these promos to attract customers to your clearly businessless restaurant if you are not going to honor them willingly. They ended up giving both of them to us since the server did not mention it to us, but it was just rude. Overall, I had a horrible experience with service, quality of the food, and will not be returning here or recommending it to others.

Very disappointing experience about a month ago. We were seated and waited for exactly 20 min for someone to come by with a menu, water, etc. When the server came she asked if we were ready to order... um we didn't even have a menu. She eventually brought us some, we ordered and then waited for another 15-20 minutes. (Side note-I had looked forward to this date night and this dish ALL week). Our meal came and instead of my dish I got a cold pasta dish with no meat and no sauce. Not what I ordered at allll!!! So reluctantly I tell the server, which I usually never do. She apologizes and says keep this one I'll put in your order. I had two bites and set it aside, it was not good (I think it was the Mediterranean pasta). by the time mine came she had already boxed it and my husband was done with his meal. Very disappointing experience, we will not be going back. Worst service at a restaurant, and the sad part they had so many servers just sitting and talking and were not busy at all. :(

They would have gotten 5 stars if not for the sub-par service. The food and drinks were great, but from beginning to end, the service left much to be desired. I went on a Saturday (Dec 27, 2014) to celebrate my birthday. I had reserved the family room with my credit card (they do not charge it) because I had a large party (about 15-18 ppl). I wanted to be the first to arrive to ensure that everything was set when my guests arrived. When we arrived with my cake in tow, I was informed that I could not be seated in the family room that I reserved because half of my party was not there yet. Isn't that the reason you reserve space?? So that you and your party don't have to wait?? Anyway, when my boyfriend came in and saw that they were making me wait, he inquired and was told that they were just waiting until a server was available to exclusively serve that room and my party. Huh? Now, you're telling him a different story that still does not excuse the wait. Then, we were informed of a cake-cutting fee of $2 per person. I'm not sure why I wasn't told about this fee when I made the reservation, but I digress. Total, I waited about 15 minutes, and then we were escorted to the room. The family room was beautiful, classy and perfect for my party. We asked for water throughout the evening, but only 3 people out of the entire group received any. I was one of the people who went without :-( The food was delicious! The mac and cheese was the best I have ever tasted, like EVER, and I had the sea bass, which was delicious, as well. No one had any complaints about the quality and taste of the food, but if they want to continue justifying their prices, the service definitely needs to improve. When I made my reservation, I was told the check could be handled however I'd like, but the waitress brought one huge check and when we asked if she could break it up, she said "that it would be too much work for her to do so." The nerve! Finally, the part of the evening we were all looking forward to...dancing. My entire party and I headed to the front of the restaurant, so we could enter the lounge area, but my guests were told that they would have to wait in line outside to get their wristbands. Huh?? So we just spent close to $1,000 at your establishment and you're going to make us wait in line OUTSIDE in the freezing cold so we can go dance?? Seriously??! When we protested, half of my party left, and the rest of us were later given wristbands to enter the lounge area. There must have been a new DJ because the music sucked that night. It's usually pretty good. Thank goodness I was tipsy!

I had heard so much about this place, I really wanted to like it,,,,but....not so much. First off, I think the menu is a bit pretentious. (def; making an exaggerated outward show) After studying the menu for over 15 min. I couldn't find anything that excited me. Thankfully they had a halibut special which might have given them a higher score had it been cooked correctly. It was horribly over cooked. It was only cooked on one side! So to get it cooked all the way through, it was left on the grill so long it killed half of the fish... When I told the server, she told me "he isn't usually on that station" and probably doesn't know it well....Great...let's put the pasta chef on the grill and give it a go...Not! That explains why the hubby's pot roast was burnt on one side.

Saturday the 27th was the best time I've had at a local restaurant in years! The service was excellent, the food was superb, the ambiance excellent. The courses didn't come out on top of each other, and the drinks kept flowing. Go for a nice dining experience.

Well, it was our second visit and again, top notch dinner; perfection!!! My husband has had the stuff chicken breast (DELISH!!) then the Scottish Salmon (Buon delicioso). I've had the Yellow Fin Tuna both times...it was THAT good!!! Also ordered was Crab Cakes (scrumptious) and the savory Pot Roast (he's still boasting about flavor after 3days!!). OH, the Stuffed Dates TO DIE FOR!!!! SO yummy!!! Friendly service and the ambience with the lakes in background is also a plus. Our favorite night to go is Wednesday evenings, when The Blackwood Jazz Combo is playing!!! This band is SUCH great entertainment; go on their website!!! blackwoodjazzcombo.com ; you won't regret it!!!!! All-in-all this restaurant gets a TWO THUMBS UP from us!!!!

Terrible customer service. My family and I had reservations at 9:45 p.m. and we were seated around 9:35 p.m. Did anyone besides the bus boy stop by to greet our table? Not at all. The busboy took bread and the dipping sauce and that was it. We waited and waited and waited. The manager did stop by, not to ask if we had been taken care off, but to take one of our menus and take it to another party. My family of five was left with only four menus. Preposterous and ridiculously unprofessional. At this point, we were all irritated since ten minutes had passed and nobody had come to greet us or take our drink order. At 9:53 p.m. we decided to call it quits and leave. Almost twenty minutes waiting there and not one server or manager came to take our drink order. Pathetic. Save your time and money. We ended up walking over to T.G.I. Friday's across the street. Better service.

My husband and I stopped in for dinner in the bar. We shared the pork chop and butternut squash soup. They split it for us at no charge and it was delicious! The servers were amazing. We were the only couple eating in the bar area and we had about 3-4 people checking on us. Our drinks were always topped off when we hit the half way mark. We got Creme brûlée for free as their check-in offer. It was amazing. This will be our go-to dinner date place!

I use to love this place. Nt only our their prices way high then before. The service took forever ... Last time I took my dad here and there was glass in his food and they didn't even do anything about it. I shouldn't of gone back after that. Tonight we went there to eat and have some drinks. For a class of J lore cab was 18$ lol that is deff the most I have ever seen a glass of j for. Usually I pay 11-12 On top of that everything is 26-39 a place. Or if u get all a cart it's still 11-21 I have no problem paying high prices for great food. But this isn't Mortens steak house lol. It's a dos logos restaurant... The food is good but not this good and the service was so slow. We also came here a couple weeks ago for brunch bc it use to be 19$ now 29$ the food again was good but not that good and not that huge of a selection. I won't ever come back. I would much rather eat at TAPS or Wood ranch. Don't waste ur time or money ..

Great food and exceptional service. We went to citrus city grille for a business dinner with a party of 8 and were very pleased with the level of service. I called to make a reservation and informed the hostess that we had a birthday in our group and wanted to do something special since said guest was visiting from Japan. I then spoke with Bill who definitely took care of us. Now the food, we had quite a few starters, calamari, octopus, and spring rolls. My personal favorite was the octopus, very tender and delicious. The main courses were a variation of seafood and steak. The prime rib was a better choice since the filet minion was a bit overcooked. The sea bass dish was said to be "delightful". Wine was the drink of choice and we started off with champagne and dinner was zinfandel and chardonnay. Fabulous wine but I recommend the zinfandel (Earthquake). Overall, we had a lovely dinner and great time. I wish I had our servers name, she really did a great job and really took care of us.

Celebrated my besties bday here and it was really nice! I don't frequent Corona much but I would come back if in the neighborhood. The food, ambiance, and drinks were Great! However the only drawback is they ran out of martini glasses. Who does that? Takes some of the thrill out of the martini! There's a quaint little lounge/club that is free with your meal so that's definitely a bonus. Get some more martini glasses and it'll 5 stars!

Went out on a date night with my husband last night...wish we just stayed home instead and saved $120. he had a ribeye steak which was under seasoned and had no flavor and i had the duck confit. which came to me looking like someone had picked it apart. the breast of the duck tasted like it was old meat i spit it out. the confit tasted like crap. the berry maple reduction on it lacked flavor too. the carrots were basically raw so they were really hard and crunchy. the mac and cheese... a $7 was so flavor less. not to mention i ordered a drink and the service was so horrible i didnt get it till dinner. i would not go back to this place. SAVE YOUR $$

To be honest the real reason my husband and I leave our Orange bubble to go to this place is bc of its nice location. I love Dos Lagos...it's chill every time we go. A couple years ago I went out here for lunch and knew that I had to bring my husband for a little date. Ever since we have made it a point to go and have brunch at Citrus City and then walk around the lake and enjoy the scenery. We enjoy the cool walk area by the little waterfall...and the cute little ducks. Enough about that let me get to the food and service. I have always had great service here...very friendly and attentive. They enjoy our people watching antics of the locals so I can't complain. The buffet is regular nothing too special. It's just regular...that's it. The shops around there are cool too. I suggest checking it out. It's worth it.

Went there for lunch & it was amazing! Sat on the patio overlooking the lake....beautiful view with a nice breeze. Lunch was delicious...Greek salad with grilled Chicken, and Ahi Poke small plate. The service was great & the staff was extremely friendly. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone!!

I came here with a large group for a birthday dinner and everything was good. We started with calamari, stuffed dates, and hummus and all 3 were really good. For my entree I ordered the salmon and unfortunately was a little disappointed. My salmon was really dry and the rest of the dish didn't really have much flavor. I tried my husband's pasta and it was delicious. Service was excellent and drinks were never more than half full. I would come back but I wouldn't get the same entree.

$5 Happy Hours! Sun-Thurs 3pm-closing, Fri & Sat 3-7 and 9-closing!!!! Is that insane? Is it wrong? Well it's right in too many ways. First of all, the view from the outdoor lounge full of high tall tables, couches, a flat screen TV, view of the man made pretty lake, pretty walkway, lights hanging over the walkways and palm trees isn't that bad. PLUS, there's a pretty indoor bar to sit in for happy hour and outside is a putting green, that I can actually putt on!! WHAT? Yes, give them an ID to hold on to and they'll give you some balls and putters. But before putting on the green I enjoyed my $5 plates. Such as the Ahi Poki (raw tuna with wonton chips, 4.5 stars), Calamari (with a Citrus-blanc sauce & Tabasco sauce, 2.5 stars since I didn't like the sauce all over my calamari), Fish Tacos (3 stars, kind of messy), & Tri Tip Melt Flat bread with onions and chilies (3 stars). And I enjoyed my Mango Citrus Martini for $5 (3 stars, not too strong, but not the best either). Gilbert, our server, was nice and got our putters and balls after we finished our food and I had a blast making up different paths to putt our balls to. Over all, this place is a definitely a nice place for a date, fun, and yummy with a view :)

We have enjoyed CCG from its first restaurant in Orange. The food is pretty good, the ambiance is good. You can sit outside when the weather is not hot. The bar area is okay to get appetizers and to chill. We do not like going later on the weekends, it gets too loud with the music blaring outside. We like the Dos Lagos shopping center because it doesn't get too crowded and the 2 lagos/lakes are nice to walk around when the weather is cooler. My wife and I have had some very enjoyable dinners at this one and even at the closed down Riverside location.

I went here for my birthday. My husband and I had an amazing time. This is a very nice restaurant we love to come to the Corona area and just relax its a beautiful place to be. I had the 140z ribeye and my hubby had the rack of lamb. We were both very pleased. We will be returning one day soon. Our waiter was also exceptional I would say that our 100+ bill was very worth it!!

Me and my girlfriend decided to check this place out after running out of other place's to eat and we were very surprised at how nice and open it was and how knowledgeable the waiter was about everything on the menu, once we ordered the food didnt take long to come out and it was Delicious! !.... A good place e to take someone out to impress them and have a good time.. The meal is not cheap but you get your money's worth! I will be back again.

This is for the inside bar/ Dj outside I came here late at night for a girls night, and I wasn't to impressed. The decor inside the restaurant was beautiful and it didnt take long to get our drinks; however, its so quiet inside. When I was talking, I felt like everyone could hear me, it was kind of embarrassing because I was buzzed. Haha. So outside, was the Dj by the fire. I didnt like the music they were playing, I felt like it was all 80's/90's hip hop it was hard to be serious and the crowd was like 30's+

The General Manager, Bill, of Citrus City Grill in Dos Logos, turned a nice mother/daughter dinner very bitter and sad. He showed us the most horrible customer service I have ever witnessed. Bill accused us of using a "fake" coupon because there was some kind of glitch when our server tried to redeem it. When My daughter calmly explained that it was purchased legitimately, Bill told us he doesn't need our business and to not come back. In our face, in a very loud voice, he accused us of trying to rip them off with the coupon my daughter purchased at Restaurants.com . It didn't say it was "previously used", it said "unable to process", whatever that means, so my daughter said that she will look into this with that company as mistakes do happen, we just didn't appreciate being treated like a criminal for a $25 coupon. We didn't appreciate his loud voice calling it a "fake Coupon" so everyone could stare at us, we didn't appreciate the accusing tone in his voice, and we were appalled when he asked us not to come back, and after all was said and done and my daughter and I were highly embarrassed, Bill had the nerve to come back to our table where he grabbed the coupon from my daughters hand. Thinking he had a change of heart, my daughter asked if he would apply the $25 back to her credit card after he found the error, and instead he laughed at us and said "absolutely not". Bill completely lacks customer service and compassion and because of this experience, we will never step foot in this restaurant again and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, as long as Bill is the General Manager. I will be calling to discuss this with the owner today. He or she needs to know what kind of person is representing their establishment. This was not the belated "Mother's Day dinner we anticipated.

Came for lunch and had a delicious chicken cobb salad without gorgonzola. Although a simple cobb salad sounds plain and boring the flavors were great and it was very fresh. Chicken was 6oz and big chunky tender pieces. The bacon pieces with thick and full of flavor and the balsamic dressing was perfect. A healthy and delicious no guilt lunch. The server was great and knowledgable. As an added bonus I used a door hanger coupon and got 50% off second entree.

This place is amazing! My husband is a big foodie and he has not yet had one complaint about the food here. The atmosphere is beautiful. Definietly worth it. I always order the same thing the stuffed chicken and mac and cheese, it's amazing. My husband tried the seafood pasta (of course I had to taste it even though I hate seafood) I actually liked it! We always end up with the same waiter and he is great!

I'm giving this a 5 because of the asparagus and the amazing creme brûlée .. Wife had shrimp spinach salad and I had the ahi fruit green salad.. Both great but again the asparagus was out of this world perfect! Ate on patio and Sunday as great until everyone came our to smoke thank goodness we were almost done w our meal..

I always order the same thing every time I go...mushroom risotto and grilled veggies yummmm!!! I like to cut up the veggies and mix them into the risotto perhaps one day they will just see what I'm doing and add it to the menu cause its fabulous. Last time I was here my best friend ordered the chocolate soufflé which I had a bite of...ok, I ended up eating more than one bite, it was really good. They also have yummy sorbets. My only critique would be their martini glasses they are really small, two Martinis would be equivalent to one anywhere else. Even though I call it a shot, the mango martini is pretty yummy.

Large and spacious place. Beautiful ambiance....I prefer this place over the Orange location. Very friendly staff and the kitchen is an open kitchen so as a customer you are able to see what they are doing. Tonight the food was pretty good. I had the Prawn Risotto and it was cook to perfection. The Salmon dishes were hot, flavorful and very moist. The wild mushroom pastas were also tasty with lots of flavor. If I had to say one negative thing tonight it would be that the spinach in the salmon dishes had some sand....grains......that weren't washed fully and you could feel the crunch as you were chewing at one point. We didn't fuss over it and we just took it as...well it is Pre Mother's Day so they must be busy. It was just that one time and let it go. Overall the food is very decent here and great for celebrating a family occasion or two.

went here for a company brunch (there were about 20 of us) & i had a great experience!!!!!!! the buffet is awesome.. they serve POKE (marinated fresh ahi tuna)! which is one of my favorite things in the world!!!! the service is great here; so attentive & polite. it's quite a drive from where i live (about 45 mins), but i would definitely come out here again to bring friends & family. the buffet items are made fresh because you literally see them cooking the food because it's an open kitchen. quality of the dishes are on point & full of flavor. i would DEFINITELY return again!!!

This place is okay, kind of pricey and portions are on the small side. As far as taste, everything was great! Especially the chocolate soufle, they bake it once you order, and it comes the the table steaming hot and then they pour fresh whip cream and hot chocolate sauce over that....delish! Apparently this place turns into a "club" after 10pm on weekends....

Now that we have eaten here more, I will say this has become one of favorites. With that Said, I will say that is based on going here with either a coupon or on the Monday 50% off night. The main reason we like this place is because it FEELs like there is actually a chef thinking thru the menu, so it changes here and there and is fairly good. BUT...at normal prices, we feel it is overpriced. They used to run a pri fixe menu, that was a good buy, it they nixed that, or Wed be there all the time. So, the only time we go there now is If we have a coupon or if it is Monday night...50% off!!!

If you want terrible service, you picked the right place! Got accused of not being able to add upon going for a friends birthday and yes, the manager responded back to me with a general "oh well" message when I complained. Will never EVER go back. Not even for water.

First time for business lunch on Thursday, back for date night on Saturday. Thursday did the meatloaf and was awesome! Not your Momma's meatloaf! Saturday did the ribeye and was one of the best ribeyes ever!! Marbling where you expect but solid steak cooked to perfection. Swapped the mash for risotto (mushroom) and was a bomb dinner! My only hit is their wine list is lacking. Atmosphere very romantical! Awesome bar, we'll be back. Since Napa 29 shot down years ago, this has to be one of the better dining experiences in Corona.

This place is wayyyyy underrated. Food was first class. Presentation was excellent and service was excellent as well. Not sure why this place gets 3.5 stars but its a 4 plus star place. Ask for Emily she is an excellent waitress.

Today was my first time visiting Citrus City Grill. I loved the welcoming experience that I received. First off service was exceptional Kyle my waiter was the best, he made me feel right at home and knew his business from the drink menu down to the food menu (thanks). The Manager was very welcoming as we'll great chose to have her as your leader. I will return again highly recommend!!!

So this place is really just ok. There's nothing bad about it, but nothing that special about it either. I think my favorite part was the view from the patio and the service. Those were amazing. The food is just ok though. Nothing really memorable. And there's not a wide variety of entrees. The food was good for what it was though. There's a check in reward. And I suggest going for happy hour drink-appetizer special. Because it's a good price

The ambiance is nice and the service was friendly. I came here for lunch. We shared the Margherita pizza, the crust was ok, the tomatoes and basil did taste fresh. I had the Chicken Cobb, which was good, however lacking in all the yummy ingredients it stated on the menu. The chicken was a little on the dry side, so I ended up asking for some more dressing. Overall it was a nice dining experience, however I think it was a little overpriced.

This has become our Friday night date place. My husband and I love Citrus City. The food is always impeccable. My favorites are the stuffed dates, butternut squash soup, and the creme brule. My husband swears by the Malbec they serve. The wait staff is knowledgeable, engaging, and attentive.

We visited this restaurant because we were looking for a nice restaurant to complement our pampering day at Glen Ivy and were pleased that there was one fine dining restaurant in Corona to add to weekend away from home in WLA. The food was delicious. We ordered the crab cakes, which were fantastic! We were definitely excited to try and then more than happy with the raved about specialty, the Chilean Sea Bass... It is definitely to die for! The Lobster Ravioli was also pretty good, but more like a seafood pasta with clams and not the best lobster rav I've ever had (the Ivy in Santa Monica tops it for sure!). We chose to add dessert as well and, although the tiramusu was decent, there was a little too much lemon flavored for my taste. B/c the spa recommends no alcohol before or after, we didn't drink, but the wine list looked pretty decent. Although the service wasn't bad, we were definitely a little parched from the spa and would have appreciated more frequent liquid refills. The ambiance was pretty good inside, despite some loud kids. There was outside patio seating along the lake that could have been nice, but since it was cold that evening, we chose to stay inside. I'd imagine it'd be perfect on a warm day in the IE to get to enjoy a meal outside on the interesting lake they have going on. If/when I'm back in the area and looking for a nice dinner, I'd definitely return to Citrus City Grille. And chilean sea bass would be at the top of the to order list!!!

I would have given this place 5 stars had the bartender not messed up our night. I had heard nothing but good things about this place. So on a Saturday night, some friends and I decided to check out their nightlife. First stop, the bar of course. We ordered our drinks and asked the bar tender, ANGELA, for our total. My friend next to me had already payed for hers, so we politely reminded ANGELA not to recharge for that drink. ANGELA told us to "SHUT UP"! I was in shock and asked her to repeat what she said. She said, "I know what I'm doing, so shut up". We demanded to speak with the manager and she said she was the bar manager, so I asked for the restaurant manager. Immediately the owner, BILL, came from behind and says, "I don't know what's going on but I back my employees up". The manager on duty came and spoke to us and said that she apologizes and that behavior is out of Angela's character. We did not order anymore drinks from her that night, but gladly gave nice tips to the other bartenders. Overall, the ambiance at Citrus City Grille is amazing. Top 40 and hip hop on the outdoor patio. Can't wait to go back again.

we stopped here on our way home from glen ivy and we were all happy we did. It was a Wednesday night and the place was busy. We ate in the bar are which was really nice. They have a great happy hour. I think it lasted four hours. The happy hour food selection was amazing and cheap. I had the tri tip flatbread sandwich, calamari, and the blue cheese bacon wrapped dates. Everything was so good, full of flavor. We also had martinis and some lemon drops. They were the bomb. Great price too. Outside in the patio area they had a jazz band staring up. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy them because they were really good and hip. The kitchen area is really cool because you can see it from the main dining room, its an open kitchen, so clean and organized. The wait staff was awesome, they were fast and very friendly. The manager or owner also stopped by our table to make sure everything was good. I can't believe this place is so happening out in Corona. I have been telling everyone about it. Can't wait till my next visit, although I rarely make it out to Corona.

I reserved a table for my friends & I for my birthday & our experience was good. We were seated in a private room which was tastefully decorated, just like the whole restaurant & our waitress was on top of everything. She gladly gave us the run down of what specials they had & what was not not on the menu. A friend brought in a couple of bottles of wine...she thought what they charged to open them was expensive. Also all of the dishes were extremely expensive compared to what was actually served. A lot of them were too salty. Anyways we stayed for a bit to dance on the patio. That was fun.

I love the open kitchen. Interesting to watch the chefs cook & great for a germophobe like myself to watch my food being cooked in a clean kitchen. Ordered the pork chop this time and it was delish! Tasty and juicy. My daughter ordered the beef dip. Yummy! We always enjoy coming here.

I enjoyed the Happy Hour experience better than the dinner in the dinning area. Mostly because of the food choices and the taste of it. My husband ordered Shrimp Saffron Risotto, which the risotto needed a good dose of salt. He did say that the shrimp was flavorful though. I ordered the Cheese Ravioli with Chicken, it was just okay. I added some salt to my dish to compensate for the missing flavor. Maybe we had a chef that is afraid to season the food correctly. But the service was pretty good, and the ambiance is very nice.

When I went here during the midday with my mom and sister, we were given the seat of our choice and bread. The service was average, the wait staff does come to check on us from time to time, but it's usually about 7 minutes in between when I timed it. I like the look of the restaurant, but the food feels overpriced for the amount you get. Granted, the food itself is 5 stars in terms of taste, but the amount on your plate is too little for the amount I pay per dish. I ordered the filet mignon, my sister had the angel pasta, and my mom a veggie pasta dish, and the amounts when we received them seemed quite sparse. The biggest saving grace, and why I gave it three stars despite the price is that the grilled asparagus and boiled carrot tasted phenomenal.

I finally made it in for a regular dinner. The boyfriend and I made a date night of it. 1. Ahi Trio - Carpaccio, Blackened & Poke. I have had Ahi at a great many places, prepared a great many ways. The Carpaccio was pounded flat (as opposed to sliced thinly) and sauced with a bit of black soy, the pounding broke down the tuna to the consistency of a chunky tartar (made it difficult to eat as well), over all I did not care for this preparation. The seared blackened Ahi, was better but still had issues, still dressed with black soy. Initially I tried to eat the slices with chop sticks, but the slices fell apart like an accordion held together with strings of sinew. The flavor was all around better, but the texture was not all it could be. Poke, the best of the three. The tuna was chunked and seasoned, molded with layers of avocado and a layer of cucumber/onion/mango (I believe), surrounded by matchsticks of cucumber and pineapple. As part of the trio it is not served with won ton chips, so I dove in fork first. Next time, I just order the Poke which was pretty good, they used the right tuna, which stayed firm and worked well with the rest of the texture components. 2. His entree Prawns Saffron Risotto, he thought it was great though the pancetta took the lead flavor roll. The shrimp were cooked well, and the over all dish was successful. I had the Wild Mushroom Pene, I really enjoyed it, the mushrooms were firm, pasta al dente and the Marsala cream sauce was wonderful, the over all dish was cohesive. 3. Lemon Meringue Pie, perfect. the top was beautifully toasted, the lemon was tart and bitey but not overwhelming, it was complemented beautifully by the raspberry sauce. They also do fantastic coffee. Our waitress was a gem, service was spot on, ambiance was wonderful. We will have to make our way out to Dos Lagos more often.

THE GOOD NEWS: great ambiance, friendly service THE AVERAGE NEWS: soso food, calimari was chewy which means overcooked, mushroom risotto dense...so dense I could lift the whole serving out of the dish without breaking apart. Gordon Ramsay would be po'd...:) THE DEAL BREAKING NEWS: Issue #1) My wife and I have many years of eating out under our belts....more than I like to think about...:) This is the very first place we have visited where the "happy hour" drink pricing only applies if you sit in the bar. What is the point of that? Issue #2) We went at 4pm for an early dinner as our Granddaughter had to be home later that evening. We were promptly seated and received what appeared to be a full menu. It had the daily specials listed on the first page inside the menu followed by the usual appetizers, light meals, full meals, etc. The Tuesday special was 2 for 1 pasta so we ordered the lobster ravioli and another pasta dish. (Why I keep trying lobster ravioli escapes me as you can never taste the lobster!) When we received our bill the meals were priced at full price, no 2 for 1 pasta discount. I brought this to the waitresses attention and she said "Oh, well that only applies to the dinner menu". What? We only saw one menu which certainly looked like a dinner menu as it listed Filet Minion and other "dinner" items one would expect to find on a dinner menu! "LUNCH MENU" was not emblazened anywhere on the menu so forgive me but.....sho looked like a dinner menu to me! Anyway, not knowing that another menu existed I made the assumption that the specials listed on the inside page of the menu applied to that menu! What reasonable person wouldn't? When I asked the waitress why the restaurant would put a "specials sheet" inside the menu if it didn't apply she said; "Well we do this to give you a heads up on the dinner specials". Oh......huh? Do many guests eat lunch then hang around or return for dinner? No one I know does that! She was nice though and I assured her I was not blaming her directly but found her excuse unacceptable and felt that such a practice seemed a bit deceitful. I asked to have the discount applied anyway which, after bringing it to the manager's attention it was applied to my bill. I am not a cheapskate even though this made me feel like one, and I don't mind paying full price when I order full price from the menu, but the "happy hour" only in the bar combined with the interesting display of specials pricing on the wrong menu left a sour taste in my mouth. I don't think we will be going back any time soon.

We come here almost every special occasions...Valentines Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Easter etc... LOVED the food & especially the staff. Their outside patio is amazing! There's this cloth/fabric curtain that they have & really helps the sun not to shine directly to us while sitting outside, just hoping (wishing) to find out who (what company) did it. We tried asking their staff but nobody seems to know even but they said they will try to find out.

The food was excellent! The bread and oil and vinegar was a prefect beginning. We each had the potato soup which was delicious and had fresh bacon. The scallops were fresh and cooked perfectly. The stuffed chicken was tender and moist. The creme brûlée was so delectable. Our service was quick and the consistently kept our water filled. Loved our waitress. They also do jazz on Wednesday nights which was vey enjoyable, you also can't beat the lovely dos Lagos area.

What a difference management makes. I really wanted to write a great review of this place initially. The bar staff (Chris specifically) was very nice, however I witnessed the most unacceptable treatment of a customer that I ever have in my life. We came here to celebrate the graduation (MBA) of a friend. She had asked to reserve space for a party of 20 near the patio (so the group had access to the patio for dancing after eating, drinking, etc.) Well, CCG got her request confused and put her in the wrong location at first. Being the great improviser she is, she decided to just make the best of the situation and grab a few tables and the bar space that was unoccupied near where she had originally requested. At first CCG was ok with that, then they weren't so they put us in a reserved space in the corner (the group was again relocated). THEN CCG came back and tried to charge her for some balance because she changed locations and attempted to run her credit card for an extremely large balance she was not even aware of. HUH??! Who does that? Our friend explained that the amount they were charging for the reservation was not communicated to her, so the service staff then said that everybody in the group had to pay a cover in order to stay. Everyone was fine with that and started to pay, BUT then a manager came out and kicked my friend out. WHOA! This was 1) on her graduation day, 2) after a very calm discussion from her trying to resolve the issue. Ironically the friend who he kicked out is a very well connected event planner in the IE and probably could've meant a lot of events and business connections for CCG in the future, but they not only burned a bridge with her, but with all of us who watched him treat her like a dog. Unacceptable. UPDATE: 7/7 See comments below from the manager and see why I would never go to CCG again. Fact #1: We arrived at 9. Fact #2: We ordered, not just 1 but 3 items as well as drinks (if I didn't order anything, how could I compliment certain staff by name?) Fact #3: I actually was not involved in any argument but I did quietly observe the beginning of the confrontation and decided to walk away because I felt like the whole encounter was unprofessional and I don't associate myself with those types of things. . Fact #4: If a restaurant is truly concerned about their reputation they don't attack customers on Yelp for a bad review.

Nice ambiance. Good service. Nice selection of small plates, pastas, salads, sea food, beef and chicken. Entrees range from $10 to $35. You can see the kitchen from the dinning room. On Mondays, when you pay your bill, they give you a gift card worth 50% of the price of your entrees, which is nice. I recommend this place for couples looking for a nice, relaxing meal.

I had absolutely no clue this restaurant had food like this. So upon walking into the restaurant I was blown away. you can tell this place is quality and they take pride in the "little things" for example the bathrooms even have changing station for babies with a real changing table (not one of those flop down ones) and a covered cloth changing table. The menu was phenomenal. I was so impressed with the quality of the ingredients. I enjoyed every single item we ordered. I look forward to going back here soon!

Awesome happy hour! Sun-Thur 3PM to close! I've had the bruschetta, ahi poki, blackened fish tacos off their happy hour menu and they were all really good! nicely presented and tasted just as fine. The bruschetta had too much of a vinaigrette tasting to my liking, but still worth trying. The ahi poki was my favorite... I also had the ribeye steak for $33. Holy crap 14 oz worth of protein. Shared it with my mother and we couldn't even finish it. My puppies had a very fancy dinner because of it. Checked in yelp and received a free dessert. tried the vanilla bean creme brulee. a m a z i n g. on another occasion, went with my bf. he had the chilean bass and said it was very tasty. i had the blackened ahi tuna, and oh my! i LOVED the citrus salad that came with it. this easily has become one of the best entrees i've had because i love ahi tuna. the way the entree was presented, the addition of the citrus salad on top of the risotto, and the addtional spring rolls was just delicious! it's a little pricy, if you're on a low budget, you wouldn't regret the happy hour special. I definitely see myself craving this place and will come back soon to put a hole in my wallet.

We visited on Father's Day last Sunday (June 17th). Prior to going to the restaurant and after looking at the menu, I had really high expectations but unfortunately, it didn't live up to them. To start off, I sent an email asking for reservations for 6 people at 5 p.m. but they made it for 5 people at 6 p.m. Here's my email: "I would like to make a reservation for 6 for this Sunday, June 17th at 5 p.m. at your Corona location." So, we were put in a horseshoe booth (which would have been comfortable for 5). Although the restaurant wasn't full, I didn't say anything (my fault) since I thought perhaps your restaurant would be full and didn't want to upset the apple cart...so to speak. Things that we ordered: Calamari: It was drenched in a slightly spicy sauce that overpowered the calamari and softened the breading. So, my kids could not eat it since they cannot eat anything with too much spice on it. The description says: Citrus Beurre Blanc, capers, and tomatoes. Sorry, not sure what buerre blanc meant but I guess it means spicy too. Maybe I should've asked. And, the calamari texture was rubbery/chewy...not soft. The plate also came out lukewarm. The halibut was great but I didn't appreciate the $5 charge for splitting an entree. It was for the grandparents who needed to split an entree. We decided to split it ourselves. No big deal. Ribeye: It was pretty tasteless. Sorry. It tasted like something I would cook at home. But I paid $33 for this? Rack of lamb: Again, pretty tasteless and dry. And, the restaurant wasn't even busy at the time. Braised mushrooms: OK, but overly done with the marsala wine. I felt like I was drinking a glass of chardonnay. Grilled asparagus: $9 for 7 pieces of asparagus? Gotta be kidding me. And the asparagus was limp and flavorless. All in all, we left with a $130 ($150 after tip) bill but felt like we should have only paid $75 for at Chili's. Yelp indicates 2-$$. It should more like be $$$ or $$$$ and we didn't even order any wine.

Worst service ever! Mgt doesn't even care about the customer and sides with their horrible bartenders who don't even want to be at work. Looks like they hire bartenders who worked at dive bars who do not care about customer service. Over priced food for the quality !. We eat at Mastros and the Ranch, Morton and Ruth Cris which are high end restaurants and pay the same amount of $ but get treated like royalty. 2 stars cuz we had one good waiter and one good bartender but had a horrible experience with another 2 bartenders and the manager who made excuses for their poor service. And another thing I was at Mastros on Xmas eve till Midnight and at no point did any of our servers or bartenders make us feel like we were inconveniencing them and any manager who is ok customers complaining and not giving a crap about you telling him you would never come back an idiot and doesn't deserve to manage any restaurant or knows the meaning of customer service. This is my second time here and whoever writes good reviews about this place obviously don't know good customer service and good food. It pretends and appears to be good but sadly it's a poor excuse for a wanna be high end restaurant.

We went there for late nite drinks and dancing. Yes turns out this place turns into a nightclub on Friday nights. Music was ok but the crowd was funkyyyy. For a place that looks as trendy and upscale as this they had bums on the dance floor, really un-attractive people. Then when it came to the staff there they were rude, disrespectful, and straight out as#%^*%s. will never go back there again. Too bad we had high hopes for this place..

Poor Dennis. I feel so bad, my husband and I frequent this place for dinner, happy hour, and to people watch when they have a DJ. Well, we came on a Friday night pretty late and were seated for dinner in a nice private booth. We ordered drinks.. Martinis and hennesy. Poor Dennis brought us the wrong drinks.. Then he brought us the right drinks...sorta. The bacon wrapped dates are delicious even though they were out of the drizzle that goes on top. My husband ordered the ahi salad and said it was amazing. I ordered the filet and mashed potatoes. My steak was borderline burned and I was given roasted potatoes. Poor Dennis brought me a whole plate of just mashed potatoes and another wrong martini while he re ordered my filet. It took awhile and when Dennis brought my steak it came with roasted potatoes again...by this time I was 3 wrong martinis deep and didn't really care about anything but hearing my song outside. Dennis was so sweet and brought us dessert and took my filet off the bill. Overall the orders were totally screwed up but Dennis was so awesome he made our night!! He even asked the DJ to play my song again. Thank u Dennis!!

Worst outdoor service ever. Me and two friends made reservations for tonight and also wanted to see the DJ playing. Hoping there was some good music, it ended up being 90's black hiphop music. To say the least, my friends and I were the only white people there. Obviously we didn't get the memo. It took 20 minutes for someone to finally realize we hadn't ordered our dinner and then waited another 15 minutes to just get water and bread. If you show up on a DJ night, make sure you are there before it starts and order food so they won't charge you a $10 surcharge fee for the DJ. It's apparently included with your dinner. The food was mediocre. Nothing to rave about. Won't be going here again.

So my cousin and I were looking for a lunch spot, the place we really wanted to try (Taps, some kind of brew pub) didn't open till 3, so this was right next door so we gave it a try. It was pre lunch rush, so we were seated immediately, given menus, then we sat...for ages. When our server, Jen finally came over, she was very nice and apologetic for the wait...apparently she fell down and spilled a whole tray of stuff...so no big, it happens, she was sorry, we're ready to order. We order, most of the stuff on the menu is in the 13-15 dollar range, burgers, sandwiches, etc. All the house specialties are closer to $30 per plate, and it's Chilean sea bass and the like. I had a burger, it was ok. Just ok, the bread was really hard around the edges. It didn't taste stale, but it wasn't delicious. The meat and seasoning were good though. Nice steamed veggies, etc. The chilean sea bass was apparently amazing and worth $33, so says my cousin. They had creme brulee for dessert, which was amazing. It had the requisite vanilla bean pieces in the bottom of the dish, and was great. Once the food was delivered, things moved smoothly, but it took FOREVER to get the check. We didn't have to say anything about it though, the apology was prompt and they had comp'd the dessert. Overall, a decent spot. If they had them closer to the LBC, I might consider going back.

It's oh so tragic. Classy place? check. Live swing & big band music? check. Drool-worthy food? double check. Then they go & repeatedly spoil all that awesomeness in one-fail-swoop, with the most ridonkulous service this side of the mason-dixson line. Just. can't. stop.myself. from. holding. out. hope. *tear*

If you are looking for some atmosphere and you're in Corona - then come on down to this place. On Sunday's they serve a brunch and have live entertainment. Today it was an accordion player - I know what you are thinking... annoying... at first, to me, he was - but his good nature and sense of humor won me over and I enjoyed him interacting with the different tables - he was great with the kids at the other tables. Today I had the Veggie Mediterranean Pasta - it was very good. I really liked their foccacia style bread too. I've eaten here once before and I think their price point is a little on the high side - for what you get - but I thought the pasta was priced correctly (under $15). The service was a little on the slower side - but it was Sunday and there were two showers going on - plus the brunch crowd - so taking that into account - it was average. Although my husband had been there during the week for a business lunch meeting and he said the service was slow on that day and it wasn't very busy. That said, I think if they are shooting for the upscale image - they need to beef up with service level. I don't mind paying a higher premium if the service level is excellent and the food is amazing. Otherwise, you just feel like you are paying too much.

Tried this place again after our first unpleasant experience. and once again they had items missing from the brunch menu and took inordinate amount of time to refill champagne glasses. We will never ever give this place a second chance as they seem to be preoccupied with other things than running a customer related business!. Our first post never received a mention from management and even with that we gave them a second chance. If you are of the belief that the customer is right and should be given all consideration then DO NOT GO HERE. Fool me once SHAME ON YOU, FOOL ME TWICE, SHAME ON ME!

We have been here at least 5 times for brunch (2 times Easter, 2 times Mother's Day and 1 regular brunch) and have enjoyed it every time. We went today for Mother's Day and they had the usual great brunch. We had made a reservation for 10:30 and it was perfect. It got very crowded by the time we left around noon. I highly recommend reservations and early ones on a big holiday! The later you go the longer you will probably have to wait. We made our reservation several weeks ago and they sent confirmation and reminder emails to me! The price was $34.95 which was not bad considering champagne and mimosas were unlimited. For the non drinker, iced tea was also an option (regular and peach). For regular brunch I believe it is $19.95. There are many items on the brunch list: french toast, waffles, Eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, baked white fish, stuffed chicken, grilled vegetables, jasmine rice, potato salad, ahi poke, bacon, sausage, fruit (strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe), cheese, salads, shrimp, a carving station and tons of desserts including cheesecake. They will even make omelets upon request. The carving station included turkey, roast beef and honey baked ham. My personal favorite is the ham which I top with a cranberry reduction sauce that is amazing! This honestly is the #1 reason why I love the Citrus City Grille's brunch! For today's brunch, tables were set up outside to accommodate everyone. While it was very pleasant and much quieter outside, we did have to contend with little gnats trying to land on our table. The other downside was that the service was very slow - worse than in the years past. Our champagne glasses became empty before we saw the waiter to get more and a manager had to come clear a stack of dirty plates we had piled up. These two reasons account for the 4 star rating instead of the 5 star. We will ask to sit inside next time. We will definitely go back for brunch as it is very good and we get plenty to eat!

Price: Pricey (Starts at around $29) Food: 5 star delicious Service: Somewhat slow and aloof Decor: Upscale Modern View: Has Lake views - Woohoo! Outdoor seating?: Fuck Yeah! Right over the lake Parking?: Plentiful Noise Level: Quiet with silverware tinkle The food is five star, but the service needs a little or a lot to be desired. This place serves haute cuisine and probably the best you'll find in this area of California, which is kind of in the boondocks. I had some Mahi-Mahi ( I have the pictures of it but I don't know where to upload them) and my partner had the three scallops (3 scallops for $30.00) Wow! Pricey. The Mahi-Mahi was very filling and flavorful the way it was prepared. I don't know how to describe it. It was just fabulous. Think quality, not quantity. It wasn't a huge portion, but I didn't feel I missed anything and I was full from the dish. Someone who is obese might think differently, but they're notorious for having blood sugar problems and false hunger pangs. The scallops were wrapped in bacon and asparagus sauce and who knows what else. They were absolutely fabulous. But the dish is quite expensive for only three of them. We had two entrees a dessert , no alcohol or liquor and the bill came close to $90 or more. So yeah, you better bring your wallet, when you come to this place. This ain't Souplantation or El Torito. Part of the reason it's overpriced at this place is because of the decor which seems to be upscale and modern, and the view of the lake, which is quite nice if you go to this restaurant before fall and winter when daylight savings changes. It gets dark to early then and you can't see the lake. From what I could see it looked like the restaurant had a bar, but it was closed cause no one was patronizing it. I'm not really understanding the artificial turf on the outdoor dining area. I guess that is done to save money and resources. But it looks tacky. Just put some drought resistant plants there and some rocks. At least then, it wouldn't look fake. Even the restroom has these classy design points with unusual shaped sinks, spickets and faucets, that are motion activated and made out marble or steel Great place to bring someone for their special birthday/anniversary. It's not a party/club type place.

It's been a while since my husband and I had Sunday brunch at Citrus Grill and we were disappointed. I think they may have anticipated a bigger crowd as some of the food was cold at the buffet after sitting too long. We've always loved the ambiance of this restaurant but with the lack luster management and bar staff that was working and the marginal food, we won't be going back anytime soon. Our brunch was over $120 as we didn't take advantage of the drinks that were included in the brunch, rather we ordered outside what was part of the Sunday brunch menu...disappointed overall...Too bad,

Came here last night for dinner. I got the small dish of spinach and feta stuffed chicken with a side of macaroni and cheese. My chicken dish was delicious. It was very flavorful and not at all dry! It also came with a bunch of delicious sauces. My macaroni and cheese was amazing! I was honestly one of the best macaroni and cheeses I've ever had, and I've had lots! My date got the mushroom pasta & he did not like it at all. The sauce was super watery and diluted! We had to ask for extra Parmesan and peppers to make it edible! I would not get this again! The service was pretty bad. They took forever to get us our condiments and never even came back with our requested bread. For the amount and quality of the food, the price is way too high! I probably won't be coming back unless I wanted some good wine. Pros: The one thing I really liked was their extensive drink menu! Their drink menu is bigger than their normal food menu! Also the ambience of the restaurant is trendy and cool and the view is pretty nice! Another important note to add: you get a free dessert with a yelp check-in. However it's not your choice! They tell you it's a typo and that you're only allowed to get the vanilla bean creme brûlée. I suggest they change that because I was really looking forward to choosing my own dessert! Another disappointment!

Food was fantastic. Service was above average. Ambience was Par. Overall 4 stars and will definitely be back. If you were going to spend this amount of money, I would advise walking next-door and dining at TAPS. If you come here, you won't be disappointed. I would try it if you have never been.

i love sunday brunch at this CCG location. i've only been here with a large group, so we've had the opportunity to be seated outside... and have the area mainly to ourselves. beautiful view and nice lawn area for the kids to play! the service has always been great. staff stays on point of our drink orders and cleaning off the table of stacks of plates from the buffet. the food is on point. they have a great selection of breakfast, seafood, salad, desserts, and lunch. food tastes great too!! my fav is the ahi poke! there's also a make it yourself bloody mary bar!

I've been here for two occasions. It's a very nice fancy place. Which in a way I definitely like. Beautiful location and view when you're eating. The food is absolutely delicious. Came to shop here at Dos Lagos today , and knew we were coming to citrus city grille to eat. The hubby and I sat outside on their patio area early evening time a little chilly outside but they had their beautiful heated lamps on so it was quite warm and comfortable. We started off our meal with grilled octopus in a yummy basil sauce with heirloom tomatoes ..YUM. We also had date's wrapped in crispy bacon another YUM. And of course my husband had to try their muscles because that's his favorite item of every menu and he said it was the top 5 he's ever had. That's a huge compliment coming from him. We also ordered their margarita pizza couldn't quite get it also will be taking it home for leftovers and that is another YUM! If you can't tell by now I really enjoyed my meal here I'll be back soon! Also have to mention our wonderful and very efficient waitress Joan! Very pleasant and very knowledgeable of the menu. Thanks Joan for the excellent service!

I have been coming here for quit sometime. After shopping with my husband we decided to stop by to have a quick bite to eat. We usually sit outside in the patio area. This afternoon was absolutely perfect. The open area looking over the lake with the breeze was just perfect. I almost forgot where I was and just wanted a hammock. That's how relaxing and enjoyable it is out there. The inside is a modern decor with an open kitchen concept. I have tried a lot of there plates and all of them have been GREAT! Lets start with the bread and the balsamic vinaigrette sauce. ADDICTING!! It's so light, soft and fluffy. You can eat a whole basket by yourself. We actually told our waitress to please remove it because we could not stop eating the bread. This afternoon we started with there side caesar salad. It's was descent. I have tried better Caesars salads. For one I think that they should have shaved pieces of Parmesan instead of the shredded kind you get from a bag. Also, the dressing didn't have a lot of flavor. Like I said it's not bad I would eat it again however, it could be better. As for our main meal I ordered the roast beef french dip and my husband had the sourdough pot-roast melt. You have a choice of fruit, vegetables or french fries. Of course we got the french fries to try them out. **BEWARE the plates are a good size. Girls might finish half while a guy might be able to finish all of his. You can share a plate if you are NOT to hungry. My husband said that he loved the melt. It was nice and tender and full of flavor. The fries where the perfect size. Not the thin and not to fat. They sprinkle them with a little bit of sea salt which gives it the right amount of salt. As for my plate the french dip. The bread roll it comes in is perfectly toasted on the outside and soft in the middle. They give you a nice size bowl of au jus sauce for dipping. Most places I have gone give you a small bowl making it hard to dip. My only complaint is that I would like the au jus sauce a little bit hotter since it was on the colder, room temperature side. The roast beef also needed a little more flavor or the sauce to make it better. The upside is that they do put a decent amount of roast beef in the sandwich. Overall, the atmosphere is great wether you sit inside or outside. It's a cute trendy spot that's hidden in the corona area. The food is flavorable and I always come back to try something new.

Today I felt very spoiled here! Sunday brunch & great service from our server Maria. She kept our mimosas comin & was forever smiling, super courteous & polite. This alone made me feel like a princess. We were seated by the window for a nice view & were politely reminded when brunch was to end. $27 per person and so worth every penny. The service was excellent, the ambience was pretty & cozy. The food was great! I tasted a smorgasbord of fresh ahi tuna(raw), sexy huge prawns w spicy horseradish cocktail sauce, yummy fresh mussels, eggs, sausage, BACON, prime rib, eggs Benedict, waffles, stuffed chicken, country fried potatoes, French toast....Oooh fruit and cheese! Lol. I'm serious, this lil one tasted it ALL. I haven't felt the need to eat since & that was over 8 hours ago. I did order a glass of Firestone Cabernet Sauvignon and it wasn't delivered but it was probably best any way because I was giggly & giddy enough from the champagne & waffles. Bring a date or family or both. This place will not disappoint.

I continue to hold small business meetings and lunches at Citrus City Grille because of their reservation flexibility, no charge meeting room, and above all, their exceptional customer service. Grilled Swordfish topped with Bruschetta on a bed of mushroom risotto. For the little area of Dos Lagos, Citrus City Grille is as good as restaurants come. A bit overpriced for the quality of the food but it makes up for that with the presence of the space. High ceilings, Glass Walls, beautiful view of Dos Lagos Lake. There was a group of 8 of us celebrating a birthday. Everyone who order a fish order was pleased. My brother got a filet mignon that did not impress him. The birthday celebrant ordered the popular chilean sea bass and was impressed. Overall impressive interior and ambience. Mediocre+ on the service (I think our waitress was new though). Seeing the kitchen is a nice touch, in my opinion. I think the restaurant has a beautiful modern layout and design. I think the design is the restaurants strongest points. Stick with the seafood dishes and you will be alright. Drinks - they make a really REALLY strong Manhattan although the put it in a martini glass but they put a strawberry margarita in a tall glass - maybe the bartender was new also that night?

First time at Citrus City Grill and I must say that it was better than I was expecting. Sometimes you second guess yourself when you read a few bad reviews on yelp, but I'm glad I disregarded those reviews and tried it out for myself. Some people can never be pleased. We went on St Patricks Day which is my favorite holiday of the year and also my anniversary. I'm a tad bit Irish. Anywho I got the corned beef and cabbage special and it was the best corned beef I've ever had. It's hard to dress up corned beef and they nailed it with a very light cream sauce. I'll be back next year for sure. Drinks were strong, service was excellent, food was above par, great views of dos Lagos and a hot wife on my arm. What more could you ask for? Do yourself a favor and check out Citrus City. Oh and they have pretty good happy hour deals too. Cheers.

Had a groupon so we went to this place for dinner. The food was ok. We had to wait forever to be acknowledged after we were seated. The calamari was blah, bread they bring you is pretty good . My hubby had the proscuito wrapped scallops (very good) and I had the pot roast ( boring and bland). The flourless cake was yucky! I dont feel the need to return ever. If youre in the area, go to Tapps-- much better food!

I was not impressed. They sat us next to a door that goes out to the patio. I asked if they were going to be using the door much as it was cold outside. The hostess said no and ran off without offering a different table. They sat two parties of people so the door was constantly open. The tri tip flat bread was heavy and greasy. I ordered the lobster lasagna and was told they were out. So I got the sea food pasta. What a mistake. I couldn't finish it. I can't tell you what our waiters name was. We only saw him twice. Not a good experience. Especially for the price. We won't go back.

Saturday night DJ was horrendous. My iPod on party shuffle could have done a better job! My friends spent $900 on a table not to mention the rest of us who bought drinks at the bar. We can to celebrate their birthday and What a waste of money! It could have been a great time if not for this DJ. Don't come here on a Saturday night. Try your luck on another night! Very disappointed!

By far, one of our favorite restaurants. Although I can't give a 5 star rating since the service we've experienced isn't top notch, however I give the young crew lots of credit for doing the best they can. The spinach salad was so fresh and tasty. I order it again and again. Seared ahi was beautiful however the bed of risotto was a bit too creamy for me. I like just a little bite to it. My girlfriend's vegetables on her shrimp pasta plate were perfectly cooked and she had no complaints. I ordered a Manhattan and it was so delightful I ordered another while waiting for the chocolate soufflé which was the least delightful part of the meal. It was rather dry and the flavor was just not what we were anticipating in a soufflé. Of course we will be back.

Horrible service...as usual. Went here last night for happy hour, as there really isn't anyplace else with a decent happy hour in Corona. We seated ourselves outside and waited about 10-15 minutes for a server to approach. Having been here and experienced the slow service before, we made sure to order as many appetizers as our table could fit, as well as our drinks. About 20 minutes later food and drinks were served. After we'd finished our drinks and all our food, Chelsea, our server, asked if we'd like more drinks. 20 minutes later she comes back and we have to remind her that we ordered drinks and still have not gotten them. Without much more than an "oh, sorry" she went to get our drinks. And yet another 15 minutes later we finally get our drinks!!! Really, where did you go to get the drinks??? Needless to say, the lackluster staff has finally pushed me away for good.

Okay, I ended up buying a $25 restaurant gift certificate to this place for $2 and decided to take the family there last night. The problem - it really isn't a place to take the kids (but I didn't know until we got there). Luckily, my kids didn't act out and they did well :) The place serves great food in a good atmosphere. It is pricey though!

Stopped with friends based on recommendations from other friends. Very nice ambiance and service staff. The layout is a little "Manhattan" which didn't lend to relaxing after our meal. You get the feeling they want to turn tables quick. Prices are higher than we expected and portions small, but the food was excellent. Two of us had ribeye steaks and two had a shrimp and bass. The beef was tender and the seafood got a good report. Salads weren't impressive and steamed veggies were just that -- no sauce or butter. We ate them plain so they didn't get cold waiting for butter or sauce. An impressive place to go for a special occasion (just budget ahead for a group). Probably won't be back because there's places we enjoy more for the same price.

One of the better local Happy Hour deals. How can you beat Sunday - Thursday, 3-CLOSE for happy hour times? Their great ambiance feel! Either outside or inside bar dining has a chill hang out spot feel. What can beat the atmosphere? Their $5HHR food and drink menu. Calamari with capers ( yelp.com/user_local_phot… ) and Ahi poke ( yelp.com/biz_photos/IOfd… ) plus much more. ---- Sadly the one in Riverside closed down. Let's not let that happen to this one also. yelp.com/biz/citrus-city…

Great place, awesome service. Our server was very attentive and our glass was never empty. We could barely taste any champagne in the mimosa so I asked if we could switch to champagne only and they were very accommodating. The food was good, quite a wonderful selection. The environment was also very classy and elegant. I would definitely go back again.

Came for happy hour on a Saturday (3-7pm). It's a nice view outside and patio is very large. All items on happy hour menu range from 6-10$. Tried the ahi, sliders and steak flatbread. Ahi was very good! Service was OK.... One waitress had the whole patio, although they weren't very busy.

This is a beautiful restaurant with amazing food. It's pricey but worth it! The server was very nice and attentive, but not over the top. If you go in on a Tues, it's pretty empty and you have the place to yourself. If you go for a date, make sure to go outside and take a walk down the tunnel and by the lakes.

Returned for a complimentary meal with my wife (since our first time was a little disappointing). Everything was great. The service was super, forgot the name of the waitresses. Food was great, a complete 180 from the first time we came.

Atmosphere is very fancy and beautiful. Food is good but cost is very high. Much of the plates are small portions (which is fine) but not worth the price. I had thought this place would have more steak or other meat entre's but it seemed the menu was mostly fish and vegetarianish.

2nd time here and still not impressed. Sad because the decor is so cool, but the atmosphere is ruined by lame music, the clientele, and lazy employees.

Love, Love, Love!!! I went to the Citrus City Grille today for a late lunch, early dinner with my son and mother in law. They started us out with a basket of warm bread and a delicious vinaigrette to dip it in. Both my mother in law and I ordered the Prawns with Risotto and it was to die for! Absolutely divine!!! I, of course, had to share my risotto with my 8 month old as he is now eating table food. Well, he loved it, too! He got mad each time a forkful went into my mouth instead of his! The risotto was cooked perfectly and the shrimp were perfectly cooked, tool. The dish came with 4 large shrimp. I have 2 leftover for lunch tomorrow. We also had the vanilla bean creme brulee for dessert, thanks to a yelp check in offer. So YUMMY! Creme Brulee is one of my all time favorite desserts and the one here was simply delicious! The wait staff was very attentive. Our server, Angela, is the new love of my sons life. Each time she came over to check on us, she smiled at him and made him laugh. I always love when servers also pay attention to the children in a group. I will definitely be coming to this restaurant again. I feel like we have found a gem and can't wait to try some other items off of their menu.

Great place to sit back and relax. Decor is very earty/rustic modern. I ate the free range chicken which was nice and juicy, not dry at all. Also had the calamari which tasted like any other calamari I've had. Delicious. Drank a long island iced tea which was generously poured. The servers were great and always checking on us (which may have been because they weren't busy at all for a Friday night). Will definitely be going back. The price is well worth it considering the great service and amazing meals we had.

Lovely setting but blah sandwich and fries. I ordered the Newporter Chicken sandwich and it was very very very bland. I don't think there was any mayo, dressing or whatever to give it flavor - just chicken with melted cheese that had no flavor, lettuce, avocado and tomato. BORING! The fries were cooked well but lacked flavor also. The tropical iced tea was great and our server Leslie was very nice, however for $18 I could have had a much better lunch elsewhere.

Went here on a fluke late birthday dinner and I was pleasantly surprised and gifted with delicious and quality food. The food was delicious! For appetizers, the calamari was excellent and the flambé cheese thing (I forgot what it was called but I remember they set it on fire) was quite flavorful. I tried their daily special which consisted of a grilled and moist halibut fillet in a saffron sauce with grilled veggies. And for dessert, I had the creme brûlée which was outstanding and by the best I've ever had. However if I had to choose one thing their to eat, I would without hesitation pick the mushroom risotto. It's a MUST HAVE for anyone going there. The restaurant itself was very modern and classy. They also have an open kitchen which I found to be quite entertaining. Overall, I'll definitely be going back next time I'm in the area.

First timer at CCG and we enjoyed it very much. First, the ambience was very nice. I loved that it was not so dark you couldn't read the menu. It was just perfect. Music playing in the background was very nice. Our waiter was very cordial and attentive most of the time. He had a large party on the patio, so he would go missing in action a few times, but he did attempt to make sure we had all we needed. On to the food: My friend had the bacon wrapped scallops. They were quite good, albeit a bit overcooked. Bacon makes anything taste better. I had one of the special's of the night, sea bass, and same thing, it was good, although just a bit overcooked. Not a deal breaker, as it had a good flavor. We also had the chocolate souffle, which was outstanding. I'm a lover of all things chocolate, and this was definitely excellent. Be sure to order it 30 minutes before you want it, as it take 30 minutes to cook. We ordered it before we ordered our meal;). Who says you can't have dessert for dinner, which I easily could have done with this chocolate decadence. Would I go back... yes.

The salad here is good, as is the pasta. I liked the ambience, and there were some interesting choices as far as food was concerned, there was this weird cheese thing that they set on fire, looked really cool, didn't try it though. The service was good, and oddly enough, I got a free desert, the white chocolate cake I think, it was pretty good. Overall, I like the place.

I'm a big fan of eating here on Mondays. There is an ongoing special where you can order from the dinner menu (even during lunch) and get 50% off of appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts. I am "researching" for a restaurant I am planning on opening soon and Citrus City Grille serves a lot of items that I am thinking of carrying in my own restaurant. I have eaten here for about four of the past five Mondays and I don't have a complaint. The service is great, the food quality is excellent, and the price is very affordable.

So disappointed! Spent $120 on lunch, we ordered three desserts. The white chocolate pie had gone bad. It left such a disgusting taste in our mouths that we hardly touched the other desserts we had ordered. No apology from waitress or mgmt and they charged us for all three desserts. Terrible customer service. Will not go back.

Feels like home. The most beautiful restaurant in Corona, a friendly staff, great food. What more can you ask for? The staff is very friendly, competent and actually remember you when you return. Ryan (the manager) is an amazing guy who does a phenomenal job. We visit at least three times a week and more when we can. Eleven stars!

Our server Kayla was freakin fabulous! She had on the most awesome earrings - the girl has a fashion sense to accessorize considering the employee uniform is all black! 5 stars for her fashion sense and 10 stars for her personality! Now to the food - AWESOME! I had the flat sirloin melt - sooo yummy! They're happy hour is great - so inexpensive! Awesome venue to sit out side and enjoy the SoCal nights!

The service staff are polite, friendly, and enthusiastic, but, alas, I have no kind words for the chef. While nothing is actually botched... his entrees are bland and uninspired, certainly not on par with the competition in his price range. I can only recommend he eat at the Salt Creek Grill and the Harbour Grill in Dana Point, Nirvana in Mission Viejo, and Bistro West in Carlsbad, and thereby understand the caliber of his competitors. Perhaps this would inspire him to bolder and more imaginative creations.

Too many restaurants, too little time...Julius and I make an effort to try out new places as much as we can, but we do have several favorites that we always return to, one of them being Citrus City Grille at Dos Lagos. First of all, we love the ambience. We have never sat in the main dining room; the bar area decorated in warm tones is just so loungey and comfortable. LOVE the long roll pillows on the bench seating! And the last couple of times we went there, they had live jazz music (that always seem to go perfectly with a glass of wine!) The food at Citrus City Grille has usually been very good - I'd describe it as California cuisine, ala Wolfgang Puck. We usually just order a bunch of apps that never disappoint, and the calamari is especially delicious! But the best thing that I ever ordered there was mushroom risotto, there's enough to take home and eat for breakfast the next day lol. Outdoors, you'll always find a crowd of people either enjoying the sun during the day, or conversating in front of the blazing firepit at night. I look forward to coming back around summertime and hanging out here for a change (but you'll just probably find us at the bar, as usual!)

Experience started great, but went quickly downhill. They were able to take a party of 8, including 4 kids, without a reservation and no wait. However we watied too long to see any server, get water, etc. No one checked on us and though we needed items, we couldn't even flag anyone down to help. The service was horrendous. And we had no choice but to pay the 18% tip they included. Oh, and when we expressed this upon leaving, the hostess simply said, "have a nice night!" Too bad, since most of the dishes were great. But at 3 hours with 4 little ones...til almost 10 pm, and $300 bucks, we won't be returning.

I have lunch or dinner here a few times a month all visits have been very pleasant experiences. The staff is amazing, friendly, and very good looking! Which to me is important im not interested in being seated or served by someone who looks like they smoke pot and pick their butts on their free time. The lunch menu is far better then the dinner menu BUT if you ask for something off the lunch menu at dinner they will usually talk to the kitchen and get it worked out for you (like i said amazing staff). i do really appreciate the gluten free, grass fed, and USDA organic choices on the menu's (there could be more) its nice that someone is trying to help those who care about what they put into their bodies! Only two complains #!t no sweet potato fries come on even fast food places serve sweet potato fries! You're killing me smalls! #2 If you want to enjoy yourself at happy hour they don't really let you in the restaurant you have to sit and the bar area with uncomfortable seating tiny table and obnoxious lighting. They really don't want you to partake in happy hour at all! lol i sat there for a few mins and decided it wasn't worth it. i might has well pay full price on the other side.

Came here with my sis to use her Groupon deal. I love this restaurant: the decor is elegant and beautiful, and the food is always delicious. Speaking of delicious: Let's talk about the foccacia bread with sun dried tomatoes and the balsamic emulsion dip: H-E-A-V-E-N on a plate! Yes, it is! The salads were huge, so my sis and i ate heartily on the citrus salad, which contained glass noodles and cabbage instead of traditional lettuce. I highly recommend this one (especially if you're not a huge fan of lettuce) For our entrées we each had pasta dishes. I went with the seafood linguini. I wasn't a huge fan of the sauce (I prefer reds to whites), but the seafood was cooked well. Iona recommended that I not blush my sauce with marinara as I had wanted to (what the heck do i know? I'm just a private chef!). I recommend that Iona find a new job (or maybe she should work on improving the success of her website). She obviously hated being a server and her negative attitude was far too transparent. She was the only thing that soured our dining experience and kept my review from 5 stars. The busser was amazing, and *ALMOST* made up for Iona, so we tipped him out separately. Thankfully, the manager was available to smooth things over. This sexy Greek man could've very well melted me into a puddle right then and there, but he was married. Oh yeah, and this is a review about the food, huh? Anyway, I'll be back again for Happy Hour. I love this place (minus Iona)

Calamari was delicious and Citrus Salad was pretty good, too. Service was friendly and prompt. Sunday brunch didn't look too appealing or expansive. The stroll after lunch between the lakes was pretty nice to work off the food.

Went to Citrus on Saturday night with my family. The menu was contemporary American cuisine and had a great selection so we decided to dine there. The hostess sat us at a table I soon realized that my menus inserts were repeating and I was missing the entrees. I asked the same hostess for a new menu after telling her what was wrong with mine. Never received that menu. We then asked our server for a drink menu and an extra menu. She was able to get me that menu I needed but came back and said that she had no drink menus available they were all being used at other tables and that the restaurant did not have enough for all tables sat. we asked her to list the beers which she did. we ordered a listed beer which she said was unavailable fine we chose another. She came back to inform us that they did have the beer we originally wanted because they went to the store to get extras. A bit odd but ok we got our desired beer choice. The food was amazing! We had the edamamme appetizer, followed by a Caesar salad and the Chilean sea bass for the entrée. Honestly recommend this place for dinner just because, a special occasion etc. They were hosting what looked to be a wedding reception on their patio. I was pleasantly surprised that the large party did not affect food wait time or noise levels within the restaurant.

love this place! have been twice now. Once for Dinner and once for brunch. For the dinner I had their Duck. I was in love becuase most places dont have duck, so i was very happy. The brunch was AMAZING. I also think a really good price. $25 - all you can eat and all you can drink champagne. (most waist will not tell you...but you can order custom made omelets during the buffet...just ask your waiter/waitress). I had great service for both times from my servers. The front desk was a little "off" if you will...had like 4 people at the front chatting. kinda weird...but whatever. I will be back here again!

My bridesmaids and I came here the night before my wedding, and though it was beautiful and classy, it wasn't suitable for picky eaters like me. I am a steak & potatoes kind of person, so any kind of fish covered in frilly sauce scares the crap out of me. I decided on a chicken & cranberry salad with a vinaigrette dressing; way out of my comfort zone, but still somewhat plausible in my head. It was very good, but not a filling dinner that I had hoped for upon entering the restaurant. The ambience was so classy and modern. The service was great and though the kitchen was wide open, the noise was minimal. I must add that the bathrooms were so neat & innovative, but I will let you see for yourself! ;)

Hubby had chilean sea bass- EXCELLENT.I had stuffed chicken-VERY BLAND.The spinach stuffing had no flavor & the chicken was not salty enough. I literally had to take the bread dipping sauce & pour it over the chicken to give it some flavor. I spoke to the manager & she was very attentive and appreciated the feedback. She handled it very well and truly seemed to care. The Heirloom Beet salad - EXCELLENT how can you make beets taste so good?!! We will be back for sure- (just not order the Stuffed Chicken Breast)

My husband and I looove Citrus City. We come for lunch almost once a week. We have a baby and they are always very accommodating. I like to order blackened chicken tacos. They are not on the menu but they never have a problem letting me order them. They are fab!! I crave them they are so yummy. They have a great wine list as well. Also, hands down the best Sunday brunch i have ever been to. So many choices and its all fresh.

Went on a Saturday night and everyone from the door staff to the bartenders were great. The bartender (Chris) was very knowledgeable about some new cocktails and got me hooked on a new Gin. The restaurant was very clean and the kitchen looked super nice. The dj outside was playing straight hip hop and that may have been the reason I was one of 6 white people.

I was not very thrilled with the service. The waiter made a crude joke, which I found offensive but it was not made directly to me, so I did not say anything. I ordered the champagne brunch, although I did not have the champagne others in the party complained of it being all "orange juice". I would not return again unless I have a free dinner card. I did overhear their "Happy Hour" was fantastic. So go figure. Management would not honor the buy one meal get the other 1/2 off for most of us, although it did not specify one coupon per table. We did get a fraction of a discount when the bill was split. I enjoyed the company of old time friends so that was what was most important here.

It has been three weeks since I this review and the owner asked me to contact him personally. I replied to his request the day after he posted it and he still has not replied to me. This is not acceptable at all. I wish I could give this restaurant zero stars because they do not follow through with providing the best customer service possible. I am very disappointed with Citrus City Grille.

I've been very impressed with this place. They have a Happy Hour from Mon- Thu from 5pm to close! We came back to try their Sunday champagne brunch and for the $19.99 a person is not bad at all! The quality of the food compares to the neighboring restaurant Taps. I wish they had more choices during brunch, but overall I would return again.

Is Citrus City Grille content with being empty on a Thursday evening? Are their gift certificates a racket? Why does the manager care so little that she is in the back "one the phone", "in a meeting" when a couple of customers have asked to speak with her? Is this place just a money laundering mob-front? Whatever you do---do not, I repeat do not purchase their gift certificates! I've been here twice for cocktails, but will NEVER return based on the horrible treatment from the female manager regarding a $25 gift certificate I received. The fine print read "not good on alcoholic beverages", which is fine. Evidently the $25 was also not good on appetizers either---although not stated *anywhere* on the certificate. This was the second time we were told that we could not use our gift certificate. I go as far to question the legality.... When we asked several times to speak personally to the manager, we waited over 30 minutes and were completely ignored by her, despite the fact that the restaurant AND bar were virtually empty. Having spent several years in the restaurant business, this is utterly egregious. In a time where people are dining out less, the management must be completely oblivious. We solved our issue by leaving and handing over the $25 gift certificate on the way out to complete strangers in the dining room because we will NEVER step foot in this restaurant again. I sincerely hope they were allowed to use the $25, but my guess is probably not-- due to some other technicality the manager pulled out of a hat. We finally did get attention from a manager---at Taps next door---which in stark contrast to the EMPTY Citrus City Grill, was packed with people enjoying a far superior happy hour. When at Dos Lagos, go to Taps. Go to Ra Sushi. Go to Wood Ranch. Go to TGIFridays. Drive across the street and go to Wendy's for that matter. 18 Month Update: Citrus City Grille remains unforgiven.

As far as the restaurant side, I like it, no complaints! I've come here a couple of times for dinner. On the other hand, this place has a night club on the bar side that is pretty cool as far as the drinks and staff, but the crowd is another story, not pleasant at all, GHETTO, if you know what I mean!!! I've had a few incidents there with these people and as a result, I will never go back to CCG!!!

i went for happy hour with my best friends, the drinks was alright. the appetizer was like bleh. we had the fired calamari and the chicken wings which was both dry. outdoor seeing was not bad it had a smaller fire pit compare to taps. music was not up to date. this place at night kinda turns into a dance floor? for the older crowd. HAHA it used to be free. but recently i saw a sign that you have to pay now..... wtf? well i never done the late night lounge here cuz it seemed kinda whack for me. as for the dinner side i had the wild salmon pesto. omg i could of made this better myself! spinach was super over cooked too! my friend had the prime ribeye. at least it was cooked right. but his dish looked so plain! as for dessert! we got a free dessert thanks to yelp :D i believe we got tiramisu. i wish they didnt drizzle chocolate on the bottom of the plate, it was just too much for it. i dont think i would ever come here again.

My parents are regulars here and ever since they decided to make mondays a family get together at this restaurant. I've never had their food here, but I've come by for their happy hour, which is pretty good. What I really love is their Wednesday night jazz nights with a live jazz trio. I don't remember the name of their group, but they are awesome. Would definitely come back again.

WOW! I took my friend to Corona for a weekend at Glen Ivy spa. We asked the gal the hotel front desk for a recommendation for dinner and she sent us here. OMG! The atmosphere was fantastic, food was unbelievable (think eat yourself sick), great wine list, service was great.... I can go on! I wish they had some down here in SD! I will definately visit again on my next Glen Ivy trip. Beautiful views, great location, wait staff was attentive (even on a Friday night). I can't say enough. 6 stars if I could!!

Citrus City Grille has a wonderful ambiance and the food is quite tasty too. There is lakeside seating and a great happy hour with good specials. The food off happy hour can be a little pricey but not more than you would expect for a restaurant with this ambiance.

Mother's Day celebration and we chose CCG. WOW! Very impressive. Who knew a place so cool is an exit before CORONA??? AWESOME Food. Friendly Friendly service. We had the Chilean SeaBass. buttery and cooked to PERFECTION And the POKE appetizer on crackers....BEST POKE EVER! Then we stayed late for the outdoor "party" after hours from 10pm. Hip Hop DJ music heated patio We smoked cigars, had cafe Mochas and delicious rich desserts. WHAT an evening. CON: They were out of the selection of the day and ONLY notified me upon delievry of EVERY else's dishes...so i got the SeaBass(YUMMY).

This place was awesome. Although I live in San Diego and will not likely make it back here, I wanted to write a quick review to sing their praises. We chose Citrus out of the restaurant magazine in our hotel. I was at a bachelorette party at Glen Ivy in Corona, and we were spending the night there and in need of dinner. We wanted to keep it classy for our bride, so we chose this place based on its description. Bonus - they fit our party of 7 in for a 7:30 reservation that we had made only hours before. We were pleasantly surprised by the chic atmosphere when we arrived. We were taken to a nice booth after walking through the kitchen pass area, which was cool because we got a preview of the type of food they serve. Everything looked gourmet and the pass area was EXTREMELY clean and inviting. We had a great server who was very friendly. I think her name was Darnella (forgive my memory) and she really made the night. She brought us a martini menu because, according to her, we looked like we needed one, haha. She was right. The drinks were pricey, but oh-so-yummy! I had a Gray Goose lemon drop which was DELISH. We also started with calamari...to die for. When it came time to order entrees, our server was VERY cool about us all splitting plates. We were all dressed up and ready to party, and didn't want to be weighed down by huge portions. Nor did we want to break the bank. So, instead of rolling her eyes when most of us shared dinners, she was understanding and friendly. I shared the herb crusted chicken which was tasty and very moist. Very heavy on herbs and char...but good. The bride's pasta dish was phenomenal (I wish I shared with her!). Overall, the staff was awesome, and the food was very tasty. Great drinks, great service. We felt very accommodated and the bride felt special. This place really knows how to do business...wish I lived closer so I could come back!

I didn't give this place 5 stars yet because it was my first experience here, and I expect it to only get better! I came here for a business networking event on this past Thursday evening and afterwards I had a couple of drinks and an appetizer with a few of my business partners ($5 Appetizers & Drinks during Happy Hour) The drinks and food were good, but the atmosphere, ambiance and most of all the patrons were excellent! We sat on the patio around the big fire pit. Some nice gentlemen paid for our drinks, without any ulterior motives (LOL) they shared their appetizers with us, I met a lady and her son, and will be going to Zumba with her in the near future. Upscale, first class people here, very nice! I think I found a new spot and I will be frequenting this place quite often!

What a gem. My friend and I had lunch Sat, 9/2 and we were both very, very pleased with the food and service. Food first. I had the prime rib sandwich with sauteed veggies (instead of fries). It is the 2nd best prime rib sandwich I have ever had (the 1st being at the Rutherford Inn, Napa Valley). Perfect med rare prime, soft roll and plenty of flavorful au jus for dipping (horsey sauce on the side was very nice). I was very surprised at the vegetables. Usually, you get steamed broccoli/carrots which are under/overcooked. OMG, these were perfect. Slim green beans, sliced asparagus, baby carrots and broccoli all cooked al dente. Everything tender and beautifully seasoned. My friend loved her fish tacos and raved about the black beans/corn side to go with. Cook Joe deserves lots of praise for such wonderful food. Server Joan was just right......always there to anticipate anything you would need. I noticed management keeping an eye on everything.....management cares here. My friend and I just found our new Dos Logos place. Can't wait to go back

Turns out an error was made and ended up with a coupon for a restaurant in Corona of all places. After the night was over though, the error turned out to be a blessing. When we arrived the place was full of activity, the hostess advised us of the wait, which never really bothers me and gave us one of those beeper things. What stood out to me though about the initial part of our visit was that the head chef came out and greeted us. He was very welcoming and apologized for what at that point was a 5 min wait. Impressed. We were seated in relatively no time. The food was fantastic, we shared some crab cakes, and I ordered the filet mignon. The filet was perfectly cooked and the meat was tender/juicy. I couldn't really fault the place, our waiter was very attentive and although he seemed a bit flustered with how busy his section was, we are really low maintenance anyway, but he had us covered well. Another thing I kind of enjoyed about the venue was that they had an open kitchen, you could see the army of cooks preparing the food. Overall great experience and well worth the drive. Maybe I'll make the trek back out to Corona.

Better than I anticipated...me and my husband have been holding onto a gift card from Christmas and finally got a night off from the kids to use it...the overall feel is classy contemporary, perfect for a date. I ordered the Farfalle with chicken and loved it...the tomato cream sauce almost had a hint of cinnamon? I'm not sure but was good. Hubby ordered the filet mignon butterflied well done which he liked as well. Waitress was really accommodating....could tell she was rushed but hey it was a Friday night. Will be back.

Starving after a day at Glen Ivy with my Mom and sister, I was worried about finding quality food in Corona. Granted, I grew up in the IE (on the edge... does La Verne even count as the IE?), but living in Pasadena has turned me into a food snob. Deciding early on that we would NOT eat at Tom's Farms, we drove to Dos Lagos with hopes of finding something interesting. Passing up TGIFriday's and Tap's, we decided to try out Citrus City Girlle since we had never heard of it. We arrived during happy hour, and sat out on the patio. Loved the furniture and I want to buy it for my own patio one day (a girl can dream, right?). We decided to do appetizers tapas-style, and since I was driving there were no cocktails consumed, sadly. However to order appetizers at happy hour, they require that you order a drink so my Mom got a margarita - virgin! What a waste of marg mixer. *sigh* Moving on, we got a bunch of apps. Pulled pork sliders were ridiculously tender and delicious. Flat bread pizza with chicken was tasty and well spiced. The chicken satay was dry and stuck to the stick but the cabbage salad was addictive. Bruschetta was yummy but the bread was soggy not crisp. Our fish tacos actually came out as filet tacos but hey I like red meat and they were tender so it's all good. The food was surprisingly good, and my family was impressed. Our server was the best though, he was attentive and understanding when we wanted our bill ASAP after two guys blazed up some stinky cigars. My frugal Mom even shelled out a 25% tip (after encouragement from her daughters), so you know the server was either really good, or really good looking. Luckily he was both. ;-) If you're ever deep in the IE and need some good food, hit up Dos Lagos. They even have Pinkberry!

So....why does Corona have to have the world's crappiest food you OC-LA snobbers?? Don't worry, we've come up in the world. We have some great food, good places to shop & walk and even indoor toilets! But I digress... Citrus City Grille is beautifully decorated with yummy new-American cuisine located in the outdoor shopping area of Corona, Dos Lagos. A great place for a date, for friends or for families. What's even better is you can walk around afterward in between the two lakes, go shopping or even catch an outdoor movie or concert.

My friend and I were looking for some place local to chill, thought of the Alibi grill, then decided to come to Citrus City Grille instead because my friend is not a meat eater. This place has a good atmosphere. We'd been here before a while back and remembered they have happy hour every night until close, so that was another reason. We got there around 830, Friday night and place was not crowded at all. Their patio was almost empty so we decided to chill on one of the couches there. We asked the server for the happy hour menu, but she claims that the happy hour is only from Sunday to Thursday, despite the big sign outside that says "Happy Hour Everyday". Last time we came was Saturday so we had to double-check. They claim that the owner changed the hours but failed to change the sign........oh well. We ordered Calamari and Ahi Poki for our stomach. I had two martinis and my friend had gin and tonic. My martinis were yummy. Food is good, nothing fantastic. For the price you might be better off at the RA if you want good seafood. But this place definitely has a better atmosphere.

This is a great place to celebrate occasions. I went for a friends birthday and we sat out on the patio, it was during happy hour so we had appetizers and wine, very reasonable, The service was fantastic. I've also been for lunch and dinner, I've loved everything I've ordered there.

Came in for mothers day without a reservation and they were still accomadating for a party of 5. We were seated outside on their patio that they converted into expanded seating for the holiday. Service started off slow, we understood since we were a walk in but it seemed they kind of forgot about us until another family was seated outside and then we were greeted. Ordered drinks and appetizers, some calamari to start with and the Ahi trio. The calamari was delicious and so is the bread they serve but the Ahi appetizer was just ok. For our entrees we ordered the seabass split, stuffed chicken breast entree, and ricotta cheese ravioli. The seabass was incredible while the stuffed chicken could of used just a bit more sauce since it was a little dry. I used to go to the riverside location and have tried other entrees that were great also, such as their kobe beef burger and this seafood linguine item. So I'm a fan of their food! I love that its upscale without being too serious. Great place for a date or for an adult hangout.

We decided to dine out on a Monday night and discovered this place by accident. We were surprised to see all the nice restaurants in the area in Dos Lagos. We dined at nearly all the restaurants in the area before finally trying Citrus City Grille. From the outside and the inside, this place LOOKS expensive. However, it was surprisingly affordable. They have dinner promo's all week long including some half of the entire menu on Monday nights, buy one pasta dish get the second FREE on Tuesdays, and other stuff throughout the week. All three of us ate on Monday for under $30.00 total. Not bad! The food was amazing. The kitchen is open and you can see your food being cooked from the dining room. This place is very very nice! GREAT service too.

I have to give this place 5 Stars because their Happy Hour is amazing! What makes it amazing you ask? Well let me tell you: HAPPY HOUR 7 DAYS A WEEK 3pm to CLOSE!!! ....You read that right! $5 Martini's or wine, $4 wells, $3 drafts, $5 food menu So now you're thinking, what's the quality of this place. Here are the highlights: - located in Dos Lagos Shopping area (typically not too crowded with plenty of seating and room to breath). - gorgeous outside patio/lounge area with heat lamps (for those chilly nights) - GRADE A SERVICE (if Billy's working the bar, he makes GREAT drinks and is super attentive...he's got a special drink for the month, a candy corn martini) - a lush, upscale decor/atmosphere without the "tude" - GREAT FOOD for $5!!! I recommend their flat breads. Their gourmet burger is large, juicy, and mighty delicious (and still cheaper than a fast food joint!) Bottom line, if you're trying to figure out where to go for happy hour OR wish it was still happy hour after 7pm...GO HERE! It's a great place to meet friends and/or meet WITH friends whether you're at the bar or the outdoor lounge area.

Absolutely horrible!!! Called for mothers day reservations on Friday to try a new place. Said they were no longer taking reservations but would take walk ins with about 45 min wait. Reasonable for today. We wait hour and a half so I approach the counter. She tells me they will not be seating anyone without a reservation till all reservations are completed. Could have told us this on the phone. So, 10 total parties on the walkin list and we all waste a few hours of our day by the time we find another place to go and get seated to eat. HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT, Horrible customer service. I advise any and all to never waste your money at this place. There are too many well run places in town.

Came here for my 1st mother's day for champagne brunch. Hubby and I had a reservation and were seated immediately. I was starving and went straight to the carving station. The prime rib was ok. I've had better. The roasted turkey with cranberry sauce was delicious. They had shrimp cocktail, an assortment of fruit, lox and pastries, a waffle station, stuffed french toast, eggs benedict on bagel, scrambled eggs, bacon, stuffed chicken, fish, jasmine rice, salad area, dessert station, etc. My favorite was the lox and capers. Everything is pretty much your usual buffet fare. All that for $29 per person. That's a pretty good price considering it's for mother's day. The restaurant is pretty nice and clean and the staff was friendly. The patio area looked nice overlooking the lakes. Maybe next time we'll try to be seated out there with the firepit. Overall it was lovely mother's day.

I am giving this place a 2-star because I haven't been there yet! Why? Because I am experiencing the establishment practicing "bait and switch." They ran a Groupon back in February - $20 for $20 worth of food. In their Groupon Offer they actually talk about Sunday Champagne Brunch. Cool! What a great way to go use this Groupon! WRONG! I called to make reservations for brunch as told that the Groupon could not be used for Sunday Brunch as it was a special offer! Really? Just want to make sure everyone hears this...Sunday Brunches are a special offer! Give me a break! So be warned, and you will see another review that talked about this, they won't let you use your Groupon for Sunday Brunch...without hassle and rude treatment by the management. So here is what their Groupon offer says. Notice two things. In the description it says "Stop by for sweets and savories during Sunday champagne brunch..." Then in the highlights it says "Sunday champagne brunch". Then notice in the fine print it doesn't say anything about the Groupon offer not being valid for Sunday Champagne Brunch. The monopoly tycoons of the 19th century traditionally did their wheeling and dealing at fine-dining establishments, cleverly concealing the fact that they still lived with their parents. Dine under a cloak of deliciousness with today's Groupon: for $20, you get $40 worth of upscale Mediterranean and American cuisine at Citrus City Grille, located in Corona. Elegant interiors bathe diners in a relaxing, luxurious atmosphere at Citrus City Grille, setting the stage for its upscale Mediterranean and American fare crafted from fresh ingredients. Stop by for sweets and savories during Sunday champagne brunch, or scan the lunch and dinner menus to find sharable starters such as the saganaki ($12) and the artisan cheese platter ($16). Wistful retired landscapers can nostalgically rake the leaves of the spinach salad, which comes topped with pecans, apples, gorgonzola, and honey-dijon vinaigrette ($8). Or, entrust an adventurous appetite to house specialties such as the vanilla-glazed Chilean sea bass, adorned with citrus lemongrass and asparagus risotto ($32). If settling in the elegant indoor or outdoor dining rooms, guests can feel free to hail a roaming violinist and accordionist to perform romantic music or sing G-rated sea shanties. Meanwhile, the posh lounge area presents ample space to tip back a glass from Citrus's cache of cocktails or to peruse the wine list's international and California vintages. Highlights * Upscale cuisine * Sunday champagne brunch * Chic environment & lounge The Fine Print * Expires Aug 11, 2011 * Limit 1 per person, may buy 1 additional as a gift. Limit 1 per table. Reservation required. Dine-in only. Valid only at Corona location. Must use in 1 visit. Tax and gratuity not included. Not valid with other offers. * See the rules that apply to all deals. It's really to bad that businesses in this economy purposefully drive customers away! I am willing to change this rating and this review provided the management allows me to use my Groupon for Sunday Brunch. Not promising how I will change it because we will have to see how good the food and service is.

My friends introduced me to Citrus City Grille a year ago, and I've been coming ever since. The architecture and design/theme gives it an ambiance that I can't even be put into words. The atmosphere is so calm, cool, and relaxed, that you feel as though all your troubles have been lifted off your shoulders. The best way I can describe it is, it's that exotic/high class culinary restaurant that you always see on TV, and long to go. The services is SPECTACULAR! Especially if Samantha is your server. She is so customer-centric, approachable and knowledgeable in mixology that its insane. Don't get me wrong, the other servers are good, but Samantha is SUPERB! The appetizers ($5 during happy hour), entrees and deserts are mouth watering! Try the souffle for desert, you can't go wrong. To me, this place is THE JEWEL of Corona, and I'm constantly raving about it. Whether you're planing a get together on the outside patio, or looking for a romantic night indoors, LOOK NO FURTHER! CITRUS CITY GRILLE IN CORONA (CCG: Corona) IS THE "SPOT"! -Happy hour: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 3pm to Close... YOU CAN'T BEAT THAT! Check out their site for a an OUNCE of what I'm talking about: citruscitygrille.com

The food is alright, the service was really good, and the complimentary bread is amazing. And, though I don't care the decor is great. Maybe if I went again and had something really tasty I'd bump the stars. There was a cute girl working even with the horrible uniform she was cute. Four stars if she had served me.

While we are still getting acquainted to the area, we decided to give Citrus City Grille a try. The decor is really nice, very modern and yet when you get seated you feel a little intimacy because we were not sitting directly in front of another table. The food is ok, and the drink was fine. I decided that if I want good coctails and a calamari, this is the place to be. But I am a little harder on this place because I've been to TAPS before I came here. They just don't measure up. Will I come back? Maybe, depending if I want to eat or drink.

Let me start off by saying that I like to review restaurants in the category and fashion they respectfully have aimed to niche themselves into. Be it a dive bar, comparatively to other dive bars, or snobbish, pretentious and thusly cliche up turned nose establishments must fall to the scrutiny of their brethren. That being said I shall hold no exception or bias to the scrupulation that Citrus City Grille has instilled and requested a category to be promoted to. Upon the initial walk in the subtle simplicity and elegant architecture that oozes a certain class is like the "white room" that was off limits in your rich friends parents house when you visited for an afternoon but were never allowed to sleep over because you didn't remove your shoes promptly upon being invited into their well maintained house. well maybe that's an over exaggeration, after all your spending your money there. You can tell it was a vision long played in dream as sugar plums and perfect modern simplistic dreams danced in their heads. It is well pulled off, maintained and barely inviting, but inviting non the less. Due partly to the low comforting lighting that is second only to your favorite blanket in December. The hostess was quiet and mouse Esq. well dressed but not in the restaurant attire that is mandatory to the rest of the "grille's" staff. Service didn't seem to be a problem as well. As i took my finale sip to the saga of what was to be my third drink was replace with a fourth edition before the glass met the high glossed table, without request. Now lets get to the food part as I'm sure your appetites must be well exacerbated. I ordered a Cobb salad with calamari as an accompaniment. The calamari was over cooked slightly and wildly dressed with capers and butter cream sauce that did the dish little in the way of compliments. Thusly i ordered cocktail sauce that was complimentary over done with whole green onions drenched in the pretentious dressing. One word some up...PASS. When my salad arrived it was well dressed and tasty and done properly. No surprise there, I mean its a salad but the ingredients really spoke. The only negative comment is that the chicken that accompanied the salad was slightly over cooked and dry but at least it was grilled fresh rather than taken from the walk in fridge out of a metal container it sat in since the day before. I'm not partial to the latter. My date had ordered a a penne and mushroom sauce pasta dish that was mouth watering good. It was a well thought out dish if only the garnish had not been textbook culinary school cliche. I would order it again if that says anything in the way of my thoughts. The noodles were slightly over cooked and no longer al dente, but I have a culinary background and consider myself a bit of a foodie, the average Joe wouldn't notice nor care. Dinner finished with a Tiramisu. It was wonderfully delicious as are all tiramisus. This one was nothing special other that the fact that the cook had went a lil over board with the lemon zest that was distractingly off-putting. I didn't give this place 3 stars because it was terrible, but as i said before if this restaurant wants to play in the big leagues it has to divulge in the scrutiny of said establishments. While the food and atmosphere didn't leave a bad taste in my mouth the pricing did. The portion sizes were enough for double our party and one would think the pricing could come down in a reasonable portioning. I would go back but only because its enticing in the way of I have yet to try more of the menu and mature my opinions on how i truly feel about such a place that is caught mid drift on an ocean in between mediocrity and sublime dining. I wish them well on their quest and see them maturing along side. If you would like to suggest a place for me to review please write me at greatmadisonavenue@hotma… Thank you

I had heard alot of good things from this rest/club, so decided to go out with some friends and check it out on a Sat night.. All went good, they were charging 10 dollars to get in, which i do not mind paying since other clubs we go to do the same and even are a bit pricier to get in. As we were arriving to the door, the music could be heard and it sure was good music playing like hip hop and r&b. The downfall to this visit was there was a mobile set up bar outside in patio area which was not stocked enough with alcohol, the bartender said she only had certain beers outside with her so we had to go back inside to get more selection. The problem for us arose when at about a little before midnight the bartender inside said they had run out of Corona's impored beer which actually was the only import they had besides Heineken. HUH!!! I'm sorry but how does the bar run out of beer? And i remember clearly looking and checking out the people and what they were drinking, not many had bottles of Corona's... Well i had to and mean had to go with draft since not even Budweiser was being offered in a bottle.. When I asked the bartender at last call why or what the reason was for running out of them, the reply was that they had several big parties in prior days... UUMM OK, so inventory was not done or pretty much says they are not keeping good look on how low they get.... Long story short, I do not know if I'd want to go back although the ambience and music was terrific, for me it was a good buzz kill to not get served what us as customers enjoy.

hmmmm, I'm conflicted about this restaurant. It has a great look but I wonder if that's where it ends. I've had lunch here a couple times and was able to catch breakfast here last week. It totally altered my opinion. I wonder about a restaurant that can't properly cook eggs. And the blueberry pancakes were horrible. The bacon was over cooked. Just a bad breakfast experience. Hosts are friendly and accommodating. Wait service seems a bit perfunctory.

My husband and I really love going to this restaurant! I love the atmosphere, especially in the bar area on a Friday night (like music). Their food is good, filet mignon is amazing. Just one thing that I would NEVER order again is the mojito, it was disgusting, but once I told the server he got me a new drink right away. I have always had amazing service here too.

Just tried their happy hour. Food was average. Thought it would be better given the look of the place. Had 3 Bloody Mary's thinking they were well drinks here (usually are other places); then got charged full price so that wasn't nice. All in all, I probably won't go back.

Went here for our work Christmas party. I think our large party of 23 was just too much for the staff. The place was beautiful as we walked in and thought we had found a great new spot. We had lots of servers, but our drinks just didn't seem to come out. They even had a hard time keeping water and ice tea filled. Or when they did 20 minutes later they either brought the wrong thing or 2. The guy next to me ordered a Merlot (3 times)....they finally brought him a Bud Light. That part was kinda funny. They had a lot of trouble getting the orders straight or the meat cooked how it was ordered. I ordered the halibut special and they brought the regular halibut. I would have just kept it but I heard the server telling another person in our group it wasn't very good. ha! So, I asked for the special and when it came out, ...no joke I couldn't cut through it with a steak knife. It was an ice cold halibut hockey puck. I obviously didn't eat it, just drank more wine as it passed by on trays and they couldn't figure out who to give it to. All in all had a great time since we were able to keep a sense of humor about it all, but I'm"m sure after paying for 23 people my boss didn't have the same humor at the end of the evening. Luckily I work at a place where we truly are all like family, and our boss is generous to a fault. A great meal would have been icing on the cake, but who needs icing? It's just more calories. Great party despite the restaurant. We tried to go in and do a little dancing in the club afterwards but made a quick exit when I looked down and there was a used syringe on the floor!

This was my first time to Citrus City Grille. The restaurant has a good vibe and seemed like it would be a nice dining experience. Of course there are always bad days, but I think this went beyond that. I would probably not dine here again. There were so many things wrong, I'm not sure where to begin. First, we ordered appetizers, salads, and entrees. After waiting 45 minutes, we finally had to flag our waiter down and ask for some bread to nibble on. When our appetizers came, he explained that the wait was because our food went to another table. The calamari seemed like it was rushed out and not properly cooked. It was soggy and the breading was completely falling off. We waited again for another 30 minutes before servers brought us entrees before salads. When I inquired that we hadn't received our salads, it turned out those entrees were for another table anyhow. another 5 minutes later, our salads come. I got the ahi salad which had ahi that was prefrozen and treated(dyed), and avocado rolls which i'm sure are not made of fresh avocado. The salad itself with cucmbers and mangos was quite tasty though. The waiter explains that the kitchen staff is behind and there are new runners in the restaurant that night. That still doesn't explain why I had to constantly ask for my water glass to be refilled. My entree arrives and it looks pretty sad. I got the angel hair pasta and the noodles were broekn and some were clumped together and altogether overcooked. The waiter did do his best at that point to save the night though and I did appreciate that. Overall, it still wasn't enough for me to give this place a second chance.

AHI POKE, very good considering California, it had a good amount of seasame flavor and onion, if they add a tad of avacado, that would make up for no Ogo seaweed, haolis are not ready for Ogo anyways, great presentation too. CALAMARI was GREAT, tender and plentyfull, nice creamy sauce with capers added much fun. BURGER SLIDERS , very good, meat had good grilled steaky flavor, bun was nice thin toasted and slight buttery, for only 25 cents ask for garlic cream dip, waaaaay yum. TRI-TIP FLATBREAD, yea baby, stuff that thang, loaded with meat, tender flavor pockets of yum and they give you a lot. I was very surprised that all the happyhour were full servings, they dont skimp. oh I probably shouldnt say anything, but I just found out a SECRET......... MONDAYS, HALF PRICE anything, yup crazy huh ! Scampi $10...Rack of Lamb $16 ? get this deal asap cause it aint gonna last long, im sure. so why didnt i give it 5 stars? cause I NEVER give 5 stars except for my own cooking at home from my beautiful wife.

Went for Valentine's dinner with another couple. Food was great! But the "checking in" process was a different story! I understand it was crazy busy with it being Valentine's Night but it was ridiculous!!! I made my reservation Jan 15, 1 month before Valentine's because I KNOW it would book up quick. We showed up (party of 4) 10 minutes before my reservation (which was at 6pm). The hostess checked us in, and said to wait because it would be a little while before we would be seated. I asked for a time frame, and she said 15 minutes. PERFECT, Enough time to get a drink at the bar while we wait. I told the hostess we'd be in the bar. She said OK. We enjoyed our cocktails at the bar for a little while. 20 minutes after our initial check-in, my husband went up to the hostess stand to get an update. She said "oh we've been calling your name." My husband asked them if they came over to the bar area, and they said NO! Whatever... our table was ready so we followed the hostess. She tried to seat 4 people at a 2-top! Then turned around and went, "wait... there's 4 of you?!" I almost lost it! An older gentlemen approached us and said another couple was switching tables, and we could be seated at the 4-top. He said "hang out and enjoy the restaurant." Where were we supposed to go?! Stand around the dining room while everyone stared at us? We ended up standing on the little grass area outside until the busboy started setting our table. Once we actually sat down, the food was great, our waiter was great, even the additional waiter (in his signature bowtie) that helped bring out the food was great! The hostess and host need help. Again, I understand it's Valentine's... but it's not THIS RESTAURANT's first Valentine's. I purposely made a reservation for the 4 of us a month in advance to avoid this whole scenario.

MOTHER'S DAY BRUNCH WAS A DISASTER! We had 11 a.m. reservations for Mother's Day brunch. When we got there they took our name and said it was first come first serve and they asked you to be out in 2 hours. There were a ton of people outside of the restaurant waiting. We looked over at Taps restaurant and thought we had made a huge mistake by not going there, everything over at that restaurant was professional and organized. Everyone was complaining at Citrus City and the day was so windy. After waiting 45 minutes, we were called for our table and we were one of the lucky ones to get a table inside the restaurant. Other people waited that long and then were disappointed when they were escorted outside in that horrific wind. To our surprise, the brunch was delicious. The quality of the food was amazing! The eggs benedict were fresh and yummy, however, by the time we got through the line and back to our table they were cold. The ahi poke was divine, as were the salads. The prime rib and ham was the best! PLEASE TAKE NOTE FOR NEXT YEAR! When you make a reservation, you should be escorted to your table immediately. Do not overbook your restaurant, which is what you did.

Great Sunday brunch! Great value and beats the heck out of El torrito. Sit outside and enjoy the patio. Ask to sit in Drea's area he's great and attentive even on a busy day!

You pay for the ambience. Great view of the lake and interesting decor. We ordered the Chilean sea bass, butternut squash soup, and the margherita pizza. Sea bass was delicious, and I've had better soup. But one look at the margherita pizza, and I knew that it was not going to do. Tomato was hardly present, basil was even more scarce. Presentation-wise, a take-and-bake would have been better :-/ Thankfully, the waitress was understanding, and I was able to order the seafood linguini. It came out hot, and although too salty for my liking, it had generous portions of seafood. Used the Yelp check-in to get a free dessert. Tiramisu was decent. All in all--there are better options for the price.

If you are looking for mediocre food, terrible service, and an expensive bill...look no further than the Citrus City Grille in Corona (Dos Lagos Shopping Center). If you are looking to dine as a group (party), expect the following service in this order: seated, served, no refills, no follow-up, cannot break the bill among the party, will bill you even if you are not complete with your meal, enormous gratuity included (as much as you would refuse to give one). So if you are looking for an overpriced baked potato, this is your place, otherwise my suggestion is to go next door to T.G.I. Fridays and have a reasonable meal, with affordable drinks and more money in your pocket!

This place is nice! Very very nice. Everything visually would lead you to believe this is the perfect restaurant. You can see every aspect of the kitchen. They have a perfectly lit bar. Full candy bowl. Different choices of soaps. The owner is extremely friendly. The waitstaff is very funny and knowledgeable. The food, quite strong in both good and bad ways. I'm not complaining about that though. We were all very satisfied with our: apps: Foccacia and Balsamic Flaming Cheese Calamari dinners: (no details for you, just main meats) Lamb Shanks Stuffed Chicken Blackened Salmon Meatloaf Ribeye Scallops drinks: Chimay (blue one) Pinot Noir Appletini Newcastle Pyramid Hef Sam Winter Lager dessert: Chocolate something or other All that was very nice. Very tasty. Somewhat salty, but fun to eat. The low score is for the bar girl. She gave us the worst service I've ever received, except for places that are supposed to do that. Anything bad that a bartender or anyone in the food service industry can do badly, service wise, she did. If the owner is reading this, ask her about it. She will know exactly what this is in regards to. Fiddlesticks.

Little portions for the price....Service was great!!! That's why I give it a 2 star...I am a local and will NOT be going again!!! Sorry Citrus City...You lost my vote...I see you gave other bread..you didn't give us any...against my husband's judgement, we went because I wanted to give you another chance....Too bad I live 2 miles away...I will go to Wood Ranch next time...

Edit/Update: I've been back a few times, and I grew to like CCG more. Their HH is really, really solid, though I'd like more beer choices. HH food is very decent, tho, and from 3-9p most nights, it's a huge added plus. Went back for another brunch. Still a bit "meh," on the brunch, but the price is so good that I don't expect much more for $15. Leaving at 3*, but if there were 3.5*, I'd up my rating. --- Went for AYCE Sunday brunch. It was fine, with some decent potatoes, omelettes, and desserts. Some of the items weren't as labeled - stuffed french toast had no stuffing, for example. Best of all is the reasonable price of $15. HOWEVER, be warned that the AYCD is just champagne, and an order of OJ to make a mimosa will cost you $5 for an 8 oz. glass, bringing a decently priced meal to over $25 w/ tax and tip - this makes it cross into the range of "not so worth it." Service was mediocre.

What impressed me the most was the daily specials total about 6 each for lunch and another 6 for dinner and the wait staff have them totally memorized. that shows great customer service. I ordered the special spinach salad at lunch and it was fresh and just the right amount. My companion had a chicken sandwich and it was delish as well the asian slaw is a must have.

You should not be disappointed. The cocktails are great, the food is presented well and the jasmine rice is the best I have ever tasted, the servers are very well trained and the interior design is awesome. The location is beautiful day or night and its close to some fantastic shopping.

I love Citrus City Grille! They are located in a beautiful place and the interior as well as exterior is very nice. The food was wonderful! Everything looked good and the salmon was delicious! I have nothing bad to say about this place. The service was good as well as the menu.

I went to this place a few months back for a work function. My first impression led me to believe that food would be top notch... it was really nicely decorated, had an open kitchen, expensive prices and food that sounded fancy-schmancy... but- I have to say that all of the smoke and mirrors did not cover that fact that the food was mediocre. I ordered salmon and it was cooked well. The trouble was my husband's 'tri tip' sandwich which tasted like meat that was processed, frozen, thawed and smothered in gravy. For some reason, I don't think they use actual real meat for their lunch sandwiches. I took a peak at a co-worker's chicken sandwich and I could swear it had fake grill marks on it...like that subway mystery chicken...very out of place considering the prices and the decor.

We went to their Sunday brunch and thought it was ok. They have an ok selection and all right food. The price is not outrageous but only champaign is included, even orange juice to make a memosa costs extra. Personally I would rather pay $10 more drive out to Burbank and go to The Castaway! Basically it is ok if you have no where better to go!

I went with my husband. It is a cool restaurant. It reminds me of a restaurant that would have been open in a different time. I believe they have made some changes to the menu but I am not sure about the decor? The selection on the menu was giant. A bit overwhelming. I had a pasta dish. It was excellent. My husband had steak. It was also really good. Lots of flavor. The service was good.

My wife and I have been going here since it opened. The service is very good and the food is fantastic. We had an issue recently and were not very happy. But, I must say that the owner personally handled our complaint and did so with the utmost respect and courtesy. If you are curious or undecided, go for Happy Hour. Try some of the appetizers and you will soon see what brings us back over and over.

Love the patio at this place! Friday night happy hour and dinner was just the thing to shake off a horrible week! Great service, everything on the menu looked great - we had the small plates, great calamari and ahi poke, the steak tacos were not so good. The special was angel hair pasta and scallops, very well prepared. All that and a few glasses of the Malbec and you have a great night!

I have done dinner programs for work here. I think the service is excellent and food is good. The chilean sea bass is very good. Typical american food, with a variety.

My mom, grandma and I frequent this spot for lunch and it is great. The bread they bring out before your meal is probably the best bread I've had at a restaurant and it's a great dining experience.

I love how the kitchen is within view of the customers. I also liked our waiter; he was very nice and helpful and made really great vodka gimlets. The food was awesome and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Loved it!

Beautiful design and lighting. Bottomless champaign brunch. Interesting buffet items included fish picatta and creamed-spinach stuffed chicken. The ahi poke was some of the best on the mainland. I would definitely go again the next time I'm passing through Corona.

Went there for lunch today and the pasta was a bit salty for my friend and I so we sweetly asked for it to be prepared sans salt and they so kindly did it (after I already subbed wheat pasta) and they offered us a free dessert for salt issue. We totally didn't need that to walk away happy but that definitely made me a fan of their customer service!

4 stars but not a place I'll ever crave and need to come back to.... My sister had a small birthday dinner here last night and it was a really nice place. The menu, in my opinion, is very limited. It's front and back but the entire back was alcohol listings and so was a portion of the front. Basically [[for the most part]], you're stuck with getting a burger as an entree OR an expensive meal. Yes, I will let you know how expensive in a moment..... Oysters and coconut shrimp were our appetizers. I tried ONE oyster and they are just not for me. They weren't nasty, actually didn't have much of a taste, but I didn't like the slimy feel. The coconut shrimp was good but I've had better elsewhere. We also had the complimentary bread and it surprised me because it looked like the type that has hard edges and is sort of cold. But it was nice and soft. I wont go into detail about what everyone had but I ordered one of the specials, the surf and turf. It came with steak, shrimp, mashed potatoes, jasmine rice, and vegetables. I was hesistant to get it at first because it being a special, the price wasn't listed. However, my parentals cheered me on and so I gave it a go. It was good but I wish the shrimp had a bit more of the sauce that came on it. Im not a fan of dry rice so I couldve used that extra sauce to mix in. The service was friendly and the waitress was attentive. We had to have sat around that table 30-45min after we paid the bill and no one rushed us to leave or dropped suttle hints to get out. The dinner was a prime example of how I can be an [[unintentional]] expensive date. Usually, something on the menu wil catch my eye and I want it. I then glimpse over to the price side and see the $$. On this occasion, I didn't even get to have a glance. So we did a guesstimate at the table and figured MAYBE $32.00..... As I was leaving, my mom let me know, no my meal was $45.00! More than the birthday girl's AND anyone elses at the table O_o So uhh fellas, anyone down to take me out? :D haha

We stopped by for lunch the other day because we finally wanted to try it out after living here for a couple of years. The decor is nice and the service was attentive and friendly. The bread starters were awesome and we couldn't stop eating them! Just the starter alone makes it worthwhile to eat here. We both got salads which were both good and fresh. I've had better salads but these were quality enough for me to come back and try other dishes.

From start to finish this is a wonderful place it has it all! wonderful lakeside patio, warm service from owners to waitstaff, the food is fresh and presented beautifully. I have been here several times and the night life here is fun as well! something for everyone! and if you need a business lunch or baby shower they have a beautiful glass- enclosed, private dining room that is just perfect! I have been here for a business meeting and was so impressed with this private room with visual media capabilities! Great Tres Sietes Cocktails! CHEERS

I take my buyers to The Citrus Grill when showing homes in Corona. We usually end up celebrating an accepted offer. Definately a great location to hang out. Happy hour is wonderful with casual lounging indoor or outdoor. Music playing on the weekends which is alot of fun. The food is amazing. My absolute favorite dish is their famous Chilean Seabass w/ asparagus risotto. Always supurb. Kitchen is open to the dining room making it a fun show. Great service always! Very pleasant, clean and enjoyable. It's right next to the outdoor ampitheater and in the summertime you might be able to catch a cool concert on the water in addition to!

Corona was the halfway point for meeting family for a moms day dinner. We were stumped as to where to eat in corona so we yelped it! The BF had the chilean sea bass and was very impressed. The veggie pizza, coconut shrimp and ahi poke were also outstanding. Great ambiance and a happening nightclub too with popular dance music. We sat outside on the heated patio after 11pm for drinks and dessert. Wonderful!

The food here is wonderful. I'm picky when it comes to seafood and my salmon was cooked perfectly. I've been here for both dinner and Sunday brunch. It's a little pricey, but worth it. Nice ambiance. Last week a bunch of us stopped by because we heard the music pumpin as we exited Taps. Thought we'd check it out. Was not a big fan of the music the DJ was playin, so only stayed for 30 minutes. Just a suggestion, mix it up, don't just play the same ole techno stuff. I'm a huge fan of the Sunday champagne brunch - large choice of foods to choose from, omeletes made fresh. Everything was good and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Definitely will return.

Five stars for citrus city grille. We always have a wonderful time when we dine here. As we grazed" our way around corona we ended up at ccg. Great service and food. Monday nites are half price. What! That means herb crusted chicken served with mashed potatoes and asparagus is only nine dollars! Couple that with a lemon drop martini for five bucks. Wow. Thats a good time. And with my bff dolce in tow, this place has environment going for it. Whether you sit in the beautiful restaurant or outside on the picturesque patio with a firepit the view is lovely. Really one of my fave spots in the IE. I highly reccommend that you check this place out. If you're not pleased with the place, its definitely you, because this place rocks. I cant really explain it but you will feel cooler after hanging out here, this place has ambiance, personality. The food is really delicious, everything tastes fresh, seriously the chicken is out of this world and chicken is usually so boring but this plate yum. Plus the owner, is really welcoming and upbeat. So for a nice dinner go here.

We ate dinner there Sunday evening. It was a slow evening. The food was decent but much overpriced for how it was prepared. The flavors were good but the asparagus risotto was undercooked with hard chunks, The creme brulee tasted like vanilla pudding with a brulee topping. The service was poor with the server never asking how our food was after it was delivered to the table.

Kind of reminds of Cheesecake Factory, but a little bit better. The carrot ginger soup was good. The burger was not. The bottom bun was soaked and soggy, had to ask for a new bun. If you're going to try to serve a huge gourmet burger, serve it on a more substantial bun. The pita was also mediocre but served in a huge portion (of course). If something doesn't taste good, giving me more of it should make it taste better right? Why do I relate it to Cheesecake factory? Because it's more about the huge portions and fake fancy atmosphere than quality and taste, and overpriced.

Food quality and taste is superb. They have a well defined identity and have not drifted from that. We did have one server that was a little too friendly and sweated a lot maybe because he was new. We have eaten here plenty of times and are always delighted by the food. You won't go wrong eating here...
