Rated by a Vietnamese-American. BEST Vietnamese food in Tucson. NO DEBATE! The food is delicious and the décor is beautiful. Come in here if you want to have a good time and feel like you are living the high life. I got a big bowl of Pho Dac Biet for less than $10. The waiters were super nice, and it is good for all ages to come! If you are from Tucson, you better come here, no excuse! If you are an out-of-towner with high standards for Vietnamese food, this is the only place that can please you in this city!

Bye Bye Monkey Burger..and HELLLLLLOO Miss Saigon! Miss Saigon numero dos is far more trendier than their other location.. they've got a brand new bar area as well as really nice decor scattered throughout. Light is kinda dimmed for ambiance, not like the location on Campbell. That one seems to be catered to more UofA students, and this one looks like its shooting for a more business lunch/ cute date night kinda feel. Food is outstanding as usual.. the Vermicelli w/ beef is great.. portions are good.. beef is tender, veggies plentiful.. yum yum and yum! Miss Saigon also has boba too.... and although its all made from powder.. its still all great, boba is nice and chewy here.. the only tip I would add though for getting boba is to ask for less ice if you are going to get a tea or something. I just had one of their thai tea bobas and there was just too much ice in my cup for my liking! Overall I look forward to many more to go lunches from this location. Finally a place near work thats gonna satisfy all my asian craving lunch time needs ! Oh one more thing... order was ready in about 7 mins or so from the moment I walked in, sat in the bar and placed my order. Yay!

Open so late? LOVE IT! Delicious Pho and spring rolls and the location is perfect after a night of late night drinks with friends! The atmosphere is neat and the service was very pleasant! GOING BACK as soon as I'm downtown again!

Tried here twice, one for dinner and one for lunch. Overall is great, taste is more or less the same as the one on campbell. But this one is less crowded. The service is better here than there, I'd say. Also, it has a bar.

I was here a couple of months ago and I can tell you that this location is great! I like this location a lot better than the one on speedway. I feel like the atmosphere is tons better, and the people are a lot nicer (customers not staff, staff is great at both locations). I had the Pho, and it tasted so flavorful. Also a fruit boba tea. Believe it or not, that was a great combination. The waitress was awfully nice and friendly. Will be coming here again.

Food is great. Less than 10 bucks for the #53 is excellent. The lucky Buddha beer was cold and drinkable. Unfortunately so was the the bartender ' s attitude. The chubbier gal behind the bar was standoff ish and cold, hence the 4 stars. If it wasn't for her the place would be a 5.

I have been to the other location near the university and this one in downtown is definitely less busy. Anyway the food is really great here especially when comparing my experience to some of the other Vietnamese restaurants that I've been to in Arizona. I would like to try their broken rice dishes sometime soon as I only had the Pho here. The service at this restaurant is really good as well - they are quite friendly and willing to help if you need anything. The full bar is also a nice addition to the restaurant. Overall I was pleasantly surprised in a good way with my experience here and plan to come back soon!

Driving back from Texas, and was craving Pho on the way back. Although I come from Westminster/Garden Grove in California, I have some pretty high standard for Pho, considering the fact that I'm Vietnamese. But this place actually impressed me. Pretty good, and they have boba. Haven't tried the boba yet, but I might grab one on the way out. Hopefully the boba is good because back in my area they only specialize in Pho and not the drinks. Lol. My cousins got the Broken Rice, I tried it and it was hells bomb... Kind of wish I got that too on the side lol. Ambience is really nice, kind of makes you forget the outside world. Really calm and laid back music. Waiters/waitresses seem nice, though not enough customer interaction to completely justify it, but they seem friendly enough. Edit: I wanted to drop the four stars to a three stars because the drink maker messed up on my boba drinks. I ordered a Royal Milk tea with no boba (tapioca pearls) and my sister ordered a peach green tea with coconut jelly. When he brought it out, both drinks had boba and he had the audacity to tell me that if I used a small straw I wouldn't suck up the boba... We ended up saying that we would order another one with no boba and pay for the messed up drink, but when he brought it out he gave us one of the messed up drinks... So it was cool. No boba in my drink means no boba in my drink... Thanks. Disclaimer: the boba drinks were hella bomb for Arizona.

THANK GOD for the downtown location. I can now get my Miss Saigon fix in anytime! So far this location is still a hidden gem. I haven't had to wait for a table anytime I've gone. This is a huge improvement over the Campbell location which always has a 15-20 minute wait for a table. The service is very attentive and your food will come out very quickly after you order. The menu is an expanded version of the Campbell location menu, as they added additional stir-fry rice dishes. I love the new #66, it's a chicken and veggie stir fry dish. YUM! Of course, all of the dishes you've grown to love at the Campbell location are still there - my personal favorite, the #55 and the #28 are still regular menu items I order downtown now too. Oh, and did I mention there is a full bar!? Miss Saigon really stepped up their game to be downtown and I love it.

Good food. Quick service. There was live jazz music when we visited last time. Good stuff

I am so excited to find a Miss Saigon downtown, close to work. I've enjoyed the Speedway location for a while and I find this one captures all the excellence of the menu as well. This is much different looking atmosphere. Great service, excellent food. My co-worker and I were served up a couple of soups (I can't remember the names, but mine was chock full of meats and seafood) and it was filling and delicious to the last drop of broth. And it was a great deal, all that food and our bill was maybe 14 bucks. I'll be back!

  • Amanda S.

Love the location on Campbell and Speedway, but now I LOVE the new downtown location. What a great addition to downtown and PERFECT location. The food is excellent, and the service at the downtown location was AMAZING. SERIOUSLY. Possibly the best service I have ever had at a restaurant in Tucson. Can't wait to go back!

You must try the phó here! The boba is awesome and even if there is a line, it will not be long to be seated. Staff is friendly and work efficiently. I have not had a bad experience here and my friends and I love it

  • Cristina R.

Really good food!! Their chicken noodle soup has saved my life a couple of times when I was feeling a bit under the weather. Never fails to get me on my feet again. It is really authentic and made with fresh delicious ingredients. Really recommend this place if you are looking for some Asian food but not your typical sushi place.

Amazing food and service. Awesome prices. The coconut curry chicken is THE BEST. Food is always great and only takes about 10 minutes after you order to get to the table. The staff is always friendly and they have amazing little candies at the bar. My new favorite place!

    (5)
  • William E.

Price is right. Great location. Not vegetarian friendly. Vegetarian menu has almost half items with chicken broth. Disappointing. Edit: Added a star because the food that I did eat was tasty

  • Eliott R.

I went in on Buisness and the chef offered to buy lunch for me and oh my! The pho was amazing... I would definitely be back for more and am eager to try other dishes on the menu. Two thumbs up!

Oh good lord this is heaven in my mouth! Everything is so yummy! Service is quick and kind. Fantastic location too. Really cannot ask for more.

Looooooove Miss Saigon! So yummy. The number 55 is an automatic go to. But if you're going for the traditional pho, i suggest the shrimp and crab meat pho, sans the imitation crab meat. Or just the plain veggie pho. I also really like the Orange Chicken, which right now is only available at the downtown location. Also for appetizers, the chicken wings are really tasty! Oh, and you definitely want to get a milk tea with boba. I usually go for the coconut flavor. Yum yum yum!

  • John Y.

After years of trying to find my favorite pho joint in Tucson, I think the search is finally over. I normally get a large #27 - pho with pretty much everything except for the beef meatballs, which I personally don't care much for - and it is just a solid bowl of hangover goodness. The broth is rich but clean and refreshing, noodles are just right, and there's just the right amount of beef. What puts this location over the other joints in town is the full bar, the dimmed down lights and muted world music (perfect for my hangover), and the chill ambiance. A welcome addition to the downtown Tucson food scene.

  • Ginger S.

Good space, clean friendly and they have boba! I had #12 veg, fried tofu and jasmine rice. It was delicious. Good service too!

    (5)
  • Jide F.

Downtown's version of the Campbell institution does not disappoint. The pho is just as tasty and my favorite rice plates still come with generous portions of veggies. Miss Saigon downtown is sleek, simply decorated and boasts a full bar. Service is attentive and by some sort of magic trick, you won't wait more than 10 minutes for your food to come out after ordering. So happy for Miss Saigon to join the downtown scene.

Diggin the new downtown location. Hidden gem indeed.

Best Vietnamese restaurant chain in town. From their service, to their super friendly staff, to the awesome looking gold walls and the red wall water feature. And the most comforting food, I can't get enough of it! Weekends, can go dancing, leave a little early, and eat & drink at the bar. So glad they opened this downtown location! And it has been surprisingly easy to find parking close by or many times, right in front. Friday nights - last night, I was able to enjoy this remarkable jazz band Tony Frank with the Jazz Guild of Tucson here, they started playing at 10:30. Apparently, they play jazz in downtown Tucson at different locations every night, according to Tony Frank. I can't say for any other location, but at Miss Saigon, I had a blast. Everyone so nice. And even when there was a situation with a customer, I saw that the owner and employee handled it very well, resolved the situation calmly without a disturbance (it was hardly noticeable). The band was able to get back to doing what they do best, play and sing! I was thoroughly impressed! The service was impeccable, from the staff to the management/owners. They know how to make us feel very welcome.

Had a little too much fun the night before and desperately needed pho to make the short trek back to Phoenix, but what felt like I had been tasked with climbing Mt Everest. Miss Saigon was AMAZING. The pho was on point, the staff was so kind and super helpful. Surprisingly, their orange chicken turned out to be some of the best I have ever had. The tempura shrimp appetizer was equally delightful. Prices were fair, and I definitely ordered enough to take home. Thank you, Miss Saigon for nursing me back to life!

    (5)
  • AK P.

The location downtown is great! The staff is friendly and attentive. I normally stick to phó but asked a server for an appetizer recommendation. It was delicious! Price is very affordable. Service is quick

  • L L.

Good food but horrible service from a skinny waiter with the black-rim glasses! I wonder what was wrong with him! Hey dude, it's a Saturday afternoon & only 3 tables were occupied, the rest were empty; & yet you messed up our order, forgot our drinks, & charged us for items we didn't order! Not only did you not apologise, you were SULKING! Good thing there 2 other waiters who helped us out & apologized for your mess! We regret giving you a $5 tip! Good riddance get a another job!

    (1)
  • Madelynn F.

I was not impressed. The food was not that good. I have only been once. The staff was nice. It's downtown so the parking is not that great. Their sauces are not labeled so if you are not sure what it is ask first.

  • Zander L.

Great food as always. Especially the salad with shrimp great for pescaterians.

  • Jeff S.

I came here with my girlfriend before a Jazz Festival concert. We both ordered Pho (a large and a small), 2 boba cocktails, and a sake bomb. The portions were generous and the Pho was definitely better tasting than other places I've been to. The price for everything was also very reasonable. The service was friendly and the ambiance was good. You could choose to seat at a table/booth or at the full bar which has several TVs to watch.

Great new location. Very classy dining, without the unnecessary dressing up. Incredible food and service. Absolutely best pho I've ever had

  • Christina T.

Great food, awesome drinks! I love the rice vermicelli with fried tofu and the spring rolls. I took my sister here on her 21st birthday and we had a blast. I wish it was closer to my house

  • Allie Y.

I decided to try this location for the first time today for lunch and it was wonderful! Very relaxing dining area ambience. I tried the chocolate flavored snow drink with coconut jelly instead of boba (Normally I get a fruit flavor, but chocolate sounded interesting) and the grilled catfish over cold vermicelli noodles. Both were excellent, and the catfish dish was very large. My waiter was attentive, and gave great customer service.

  • Jason T.

I'm so glad they decided to put a Miss Saigon here so downtown FINALLY has some good Asian food. The Pho is what people go here for, but try the Orange Chicken, it's pretty killer. Great ambiance, service is friendly, and the cuisine is excellent. Nice to see a restaurant focus on what it does best; serve food. They know what they do and they do it well, no DJ night or pretending to be a club after 10pm. Make good food and people will come. Thanks guys, I will keep supporting your place!

  • Mario S.

I loved coming in for the jazz and the food. No there's no jazz. And there will be no friends and I enjoying the atmosphere nor the food. Does anybody know where I can catch some jazz on a Friday night?

  • James C.

I was on my way somewhere else when I decided to try Miss Saigon. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I had an orange chicken dish and it was very tasty. It was a lovely experience overall even if it was a bit expensive for what it was. I'll be back.

This was our first time going. We were in the area and I had not had pho in a while. Upon walking into the restaurant it is quite spacious, with dim lighting. It was about 5 pm and plenty of seating was available. The staff is very attentive and accommodating. The service was great! We had our 11 month old with us and they suggested the wonton soup for her. She loved it! The food was delicious! My husband and I had pho. The reason my rating is short is because the restaurant was pretty dirty. Sitting against the wall we could see the layer of dust on the wall trim, the table was sticky, and the menus smelled very sour as though they had been wiped with an old damp rag. The food as I mentioned was delicious, but environment is also really important. My husband enjoyed the food, but he does not care to go back because of how, well ya know... how not clean it was. Oh and they didn't have a changing table in the bathrooms- bummer.

  • Megan M.

Best boba tea ever!! I always get the coconut milk tea with boba! I brought my friends and they loved it! We always come here after yoga! The veggie spring rolls with peanut sauce is delicious! Along with the chicken pho!!

  • Curt N.

The service was friendly & very helpful, they made sure that first timers understood what was on the menu. Food was excellent!

  • Demajuja T.

Omg. First time having pho in Arizona and this is pretty bomb. Even better than back home in Bolsa. If I ever travel on the road again I will definitely stop by here for pho.

    (5)
  • Rachel R.

New location, same great food! Every time I come, I say that I'm going to try something new. But when that waitress comes back, Pho is the only thing I can order. I have eaten other peoples' food, so I know other things are good too. I'm so glad this location is open!

    (4)
  • Esther G.

OMG! This place is AMAZING! Very authentic and FANTASTIC service. I will be back PHO sure.

  • Faith B.

First time trying this place. Loved the decor. Friendly and speedy service. Will come back for sure!

    (5)
  • Kristy H.

Sooooo delicious. I had the spring rolls and the chicken and mixed vegetables. Fantastic! I also asked for my food to be spicy and the amount of spice was perfect. My sinuses are clear and I had a nice sweat going on under my eyeballs. Yeah. It was that good.

    (5)
  • C B.

New Location! Super happy that there is now a Downtown location and it even has a full bar! Much trendier and the food is just as amazing as its previous location. They accept all major credit cards.

    (5)
  • Jenna K.

This place really is amazingly good. I can't remember what I had to eat when I came- I think it was about a month ago, but I don't have one bad thing to say about this place, honestly. And the drinks that we had we're also amazing.

    (5)
  • Juan P.

Give it 3 stars. Would have 5 if the service was on par with the quality of the food. Not to say that the servers were bad, just understaffed for the amount of business coming in. I would consider that more of a management fault than anything that I'm sure would get fixed up once they get acclimated to the surges of a restaurant downtown.

    (3)
  • Conchita C.

First, let me say the service was great. The food, not so much. Not bad, but not tasty. The peanut sauce could have been...anything..not much peanut taste. The chicken-on-a-stick was just that...not much flavor, and quite dry. The curry I had was bland. I had high hopes of great, tasty, lovely food....I've had roommates that make this out of a can taste better. An interesting place, good location (took the new streetcar there...fun!), good wait staff. Now let them serve something terrifical so we can leave them even better tips!!!!

    (2)
  • Susie S.

Great food, great service, excellent wait staff. Had a nice table by the indoor fountain. Loved the fresh spring rolls. Yum! Will be back!

Omg! Haven't updated my review for this place! I'm in love with this place now! Best pho I've had in a while!! And pretty good service. Parking sucks but I love coming here anyways. Yummy food and always craving their pho! Usually get spring rolls and pho.. But their rice plates are yummy too!! Definitely one of my favorite places to eat in Tucson!

    (5)
  • Shimmy S.

I used to recommend this place to everyone, but now, I will have to warn them: careful when you order egg rolls. My fried egg rolls came with a fried nail. Not a finger nail, a nail that you hammer into the wall. The shift manager was apologetic and even comped our meal. Thank you. I'm not saying don't go, just be careful

    (1)
  • j c.

Small space gets very crowded during peak lunch hour. We ended up sitting at the bar. They do crazy good business. Food is good but not great. Pho is bit too sweet for my taste. The reason for only three stars is that it came out lukewarm. It needs to come out piping out so that it will cook the rare beef. It would not be my first choice for pho. I prefer Pho 88.

  • Victoria C.

When this location first opened, I dined here at least once a week. I've since slowed down my pace to a once-a-month visit, but this place still rocks! We downtown-dwellers really appreciate everything that Miss Saigon has to offer. Fantastic service at fair prices. My favorites are the vermicelli with fried tofu and veggies, the vegetarian spring rolls, and Boba. My favorite is the Thai iced tea w/boba. I wish that they had more vegetarian options. Every other dish has either beef, pork, or chicken broth.... blerg. Other than that, I highly recommend this place. This is also the place to be for watching sports events. I happened to be here once for a Wildcats basketball game and you could actually enjoy watching the game and hear/see what was going on. At the bar, there's always seating and plenty of boba and good food to go around. It's a really nice change from the usual sports bar atmosphere :)

    (4)
  • Kay T.

The same good old pho at a new location. The decor is pretty nice too although I think the new place is a bit smaller than the old place. So there's gonna be a wait in line for dinner time or any high traffic peak hours. Like I said, food is good and menu is identical to other location??? Maybe. Seemed like it. Service was good too. It's convenient if you are in downtown already. If you are not in downtown, I suggest going to the other location. Parking was a pain because metered parking is never open and the weekends have a fee as well in the parking garage. Otherwise, it would have been 5 stars.

We were looking for late night bite and found this place. Great food, friendly staff, and comfortable decor. The orange chicken and shrimp spring rolls are great.

ordered pickup so this is a review on food flavor only and MY GOODNESS! Miss Saigon YOU PUT A SPELL ON ME! Had an amazing mix of seafood with coconut sauce over rice and my boyfriend had pork over their noodles. It was to-die-for! GO GO GO! Unbelievable. Can't force myself to give them 5 stars cuz i did not experience service or atmosphere. FOOD=5 STARS

  • Jess P.

I don't know if this place is super vegetarian friendly. I thought the food was pretty tasty. Nothing special really jumped out at me.

    (4)
  • Jonathan B.

Since there is no difference between the two locations I can tell, besides a full bar, my thoughts on the downtown location are the same for the Sam Hughes location. Everything is very tasty, and the non pho options are great. Maybe not a great Happy Hour location, but awesome for a casual midweek dinner.

    (5)
  • Isabella J.

yes yes and yes! I don't eat pho often, but when I do, I head straight to Miss Saigon. I'm loving that they have a store downtown. It's extra close to my neighborhood and this particular location just has more atmosphere with the same friendly and fast service and of course great food. My go-to are the spring rolls and the 26, but I'm looking forward to exploring more of the menu and being a little more adventurous. Love this spot and highly recommend it! The downtown location has a full bar as well.

  • Stephanie A.

One of my favorite restaurants in Tucson-and this location stays open AND SERVES FOOD UNTIL 2am (on weekends)! The pho is really good. I like the #14--it has tofu and rice noodles. I also really like the #52 (I sub in red rice) and I love their curry sauce! The boba is also really good, as are the drinks. I like both locations, and think both locations also have really amazing service, but the downtown location is more romantic and has a better atmosphere--and you can't beat being open 'til 2am! UPDATE: Please bring back normal sized boba balls! The last few times I went there they used the small ones, which are not good at all!

    (5)
  • Marie A.

Excellent place to get take out. Everything is always well packaged for the trip home. We love getting the veggie pho and chicken curry. Tasty! We also enjoy going to their downtown restaurant . Good atmosphere and staff.

  • George F.

I stopped in with a coworker based on the Yelp reviews while in town on business. The decor is elegant yet comfortable. The light coming in from the front windows contrasts nicely with the dark furniture and features. I had Vietnamese Spring rolls and a shrimp vermicelli dish. Both were fantastic. I'd definitely recommend this place!

  • Dylan M.

Miss Saigon is a great addition to the downtown restaurant scene. Contrary to most restaurants in the area which are more Americanized and pricey, Miss Saigon offers a great alternative of casual ethnic dining. They provide a straightforward Vietnamese / Chinese menu, similar to their Campbell location. They also stock a full bar! Some of my favorite items are their Pho Tai (Vietnamese noodle soup with slices of thin rare steak), Veggie Spring Rolls, Catfish Curry, Boba Tea, and Vietnamese Iced Coffee. The restaurant is clean, well laid out, has prompt service and is great for groups. They're also open late on weekends! ...Now, if I could convince them to start serving Thai food like their northwest location, it'd be a MAJOR win ;)
